as a young person you really cannot conceptualize how you are truly always every version of yourself and always feel like you're simultaneously your age and every age you've ever been, it's so hard to understand when you don't have enough years behind you. i feel like in the last few years i've only just really really started to understand perspective vs time and now looking at young people i can see how they don't have that same perspective. and i'm only 29. that's like 1/3 of my life if I'm lucky.
