There's absolutely no way in hell the anime will ever get to this point of the story so it's actually really nice that they snuck in a little teaser of the two as a married couple and also the twins.

Prompt:

Instead of being sent to end the Washington bloodline, Calvin is sent to clean the Gotham streets of “vermin”.

He gets a name, a location, and a general description. A weapon pointed at a target.

And he’s eager to prove himself. Eager to have years of grueling training pay off. Eager to prove that he didn’t kill the previous Talon for nothing.

But when Calvin perches on top of a fire escape, watching a small, malnourished child with gaunt cheeks and a too large red hoodie steal the tires off the Batmobile with nervous glances left and right but never up—

Calvin wants to throw up.

They can’t- they’re expecting him to kill a little kid. A tiny, defenseless human just trying to survive— deemed obsolete due to circumstances the boy had no control over.

No. No way. No fucking way.

When Batman returns to the Batmobile it’s to his tires gone and the tail end of watching a monster straight out a nursery rhyme knocking a screaming child unconscious and vanishing into the night.

The first time Vlad stayed up late enough to learn about Anderson's morning meal, or well, lack there of...

Vlad did wind up making him breakfast. Downside is... Anderson felt so guilty it was a miracle he didn't start crying. Don't want to over salt the food with tears now do we.

Vlad has since learned that if he makes himself a late night snack, he can safely set aside the leftovers with a note for Anderson to eat in the morning (or take for lunch).

something about how in-tune the jaiden-roier-bobby family is with each other. they know each other’s strengths like the back of their hands, and know when to step in if needed and when to let go.

when speaking of his revenge plans against spreen and quackity, roier involves bobby, saying he plans to use bobby’s strength as the best and strongest dragon to overpower them. it may seem like he’s using his son as a weapon, but no—bobby loves fighting. he jumps into battle without a second thought, whether it be dungeon-diving with roier, wrestling with tilin, or protecting jaiden from mobs, the kid loves a good battle. he’s excited to be able to avenge his dad!

alternatively, when talking about those very same plans, roier never includes jaiden in the combat. jaiden’s not a fighter. he knows this, and she does as well. still, she wants to be there for him, and to aid him in any way she can. so, instead of helping through combat, she offers her aid in words. if roier ever needs someone to distract spreen, or butter him up further, she’ll be there for him without a second thought. she doesn’t push roier to back down; in turn, he doesn’t push her to do more. they both offer their honest selves, and because of that, they know there’s nothing to push for.

they all bounce off each other so well and offer backup for each other’s weaknesses in a way that’s not belittling or insulting. their abilities are what they are, and there’s nothing wrong with what they can or can’t do. as long as they’re able to be there for each other, they’ll all be okay.

Okay but what if instead of having children, TK and Carlos become Animal People. It was only a matter of time, what with TK's adoration of all animals. And Carlos had always enjoyed most animals (not the the degree of TK and his bringing home a flesh eating lizard, but still). Of course, it began with Lou II, but overtime, and often unintentionally, they began gathering more and more pets.

Most of them were TK’s fault. There was that stray kitten TK found trapped in a gutter on a call who he couldn't bear to part with. And TK finds an injured bird outside that he insists they nurse back to health and release. But then, there's an old police dog who needs rehoming and Carlos has always wanted a dog, so they gain yet another furry friend.

Eventually, they have to leave the loft because their lease doesn't allow for all of them, and as hard as TK tries, he can’t pass off a cat and a German Shepherd as the same pet.

And once they get more space, along with all the animals they adopt over the years, they also foster and take-in animals in need when they can. Carlos makes TK promise not to adopt any stray they foster (he breaks that promise immediately). Still, they do have animals come and go. They even foster a snake for a brief period of time which Carlos refuses to be within a few feet of.

And soon they have this little family, maybe not in the conventional way, but they are both dads to plenty of pets who they treat like children anyway.
