the air as the weekend approached was filled with an adrenaline of its own. drivers loitering on the paddock, a camera shoved up each one of their faces. most of them were making videos for their teams social media, while others were giving interviews. silly banter & playful hazing surrounded the place as the free practices neared. as calm and laid back as the environment was, a new buzz had taken over the virtual world. it seemed like the redbull fans had taken on a new intrest in a the friendship you and max shared, suspecting it could be more than just friends. you’re shocked as you read through the articles, what could possibly make it seem like you were both in any sense more than just friends? max was like the brother you never had, and you, the sister he had always hoped of having. as much as the articles were delusional, you didnt really care that much about them, i mean why would you be afraid when there’s nothing youre scared of being open to the public? okay, maybe not everything. not the time when you were so drunk you demanded every guy on the paddock to quote “settle it with me on the ring”, not the time when you were the culprit behind the hilarious azerbaijan mix up where you stole the champagne on the podium and replaced it with an empty one, and definitely not the fact that you’re already taken, by a person known to all on the paddock.

The morning of the race was always an exhilarating one no matter which team youre driving for, or which team you’re rooting for. the passion, the dedication and the confidence in the each and every drivers persona was enough to fill you in the same mindset. though youve always been a redbull fan, which, i mean is definitely not even surprising considering you probably frequent their garage more than some of their own engineers, youve always held an admiration for all the drivers. even you knew how dominant the redbull cars were, so seeing the rest of the drivers still catch up with less resources filled your heart with pride. you look up at the fan’s waiting impatiently for the race to start with a smile on your face. this, will never get boring, you think.

you could never get sick of this. the same ride, the same atmosphere, the exact same playlist playing over and over again, the curves of the road as you drive through. because you know, at the end of this journey would be the same thing you look forward to, every time. so you get into you car, and drive the same drive to the same spot, once again. at a pillar reading out “623” you stop by the ferrari you know all too well.

there he was. i could never get used to seeing him like this, you think, dressed up in formals but looking formal in no way whatsoever. shriveled hair, buttons unbuttoned, jewellery he knows how to style in just the right way. his crazed eyes of emerald, gazing into you with an intensity that makes your nerves shiver.

“took you long enough to come here” he says, holding you waist. “it was a longer drive than usual” “is that so?” he says, stepping aside you to rest against his ferrari, right beside you. folding his arms, he continues, pulling a cigarette out of his blazer, “want one?” “please, today was a bitch” “i could say the same for me, really” he reaches towards you, lighting your cigarette. “races in monaco are my favourite” he says, looking up at the sky. “yeah, id imagine so. nothing beats home” “yeah, it’s great to be home and all, but theres also something in monaco that beats the thrill any race could give me” he steps forwards, hands placed beside either sides of you.

he pulls the cigarette from your lips, taking in a puff himself. he brings his lips to your ear, “or rather, theres someone in monaco, who beats the thrill any race could give me” he whispers, blowing the smoke away. he flicks the cigarette aside and steps on it, as he lifts your face up, meeting your eyes with his own. “someone who sighs right when i kiss her here,” he goes on to place a chaste kiss on your mole, right on your neck by your jawline. and like a story repeated enough times, you sigh. “someone who arches her back when i pull her hair slightly like this,” he gently tugs your hair, making a makeshift ponytail and like a telltale, you arch your back, the satisfaction of being right sprawled across charles’s face.

“but of all, the one thing that makes me come back to this place again and again, is knowing that—“ he lifts your hips up, making you wrap your legs around him. “you’re mine.” the second he says that, its like all the dots connected in your head. you never thought charles would be jealous of the rumours, given how he was the one who didn’t want your relationship to be public. “charles, are you jealous?” you ask. “so what if i am?” “well, i for one wouldnt want my boyfriend to be feeling like that anymore” “what do you mean?” you pull out your phone from your clutch, “kiss me” “wait what are you doing?” “i said, kiss me” you say, pulling him in by his jaw. “im conf-“ you kiss him, shutting him up. as he closes his eyes he finds himself to not be able to help himself from drowning into you, well atleast until a flash brings him out of his trance. “im going to post it.” “you don’t have to, you know” “but i want to. i want everyone to know how much you mean to me charles. you’re my favourite person and i would hate to see you be jealous”

• So it’s a breeze for him to get close to you. Suddenly your assigned as his personal guard or caretaker, Suddenly he requests more time off the clock with you.

• In the second scenario he might of seen you while spying on the order or when he was declaring war. I’m imagining him announcing his speech before his eyes lock on you from behind the mask, He pauses mid sentence to just stare before Homare coughs and breaks him out of his trance.

• He continues on but his eyes keep lingering back to you. It makes you feel uncomfortable more than you already were, This organisation was declaring war on the order and their creepy leader kept eyeing you up and down.

• I feel like Mephisto would catch on, He’d probably deduce it easily but for the sake of plot he wont here.

• When they leave, Lucifer can’t help but drift his mind off to you. He hated human beings, He envied them for their healthy bodies that they wasted doing nothing while he rots.

• And due to that and the fact that he is bedridden most of the time makes it very hard for him to do anything. Instead he relies on Shima to tell him things about you.

• You’re a teaching assistant at the academy, A middle-class exorcist with the meister of doctor and knight. The more he learned the more he felt his heart beat.

• If you have any other romantic partners or interests (even just friendships) he starts to feel another emotion. It’s not a good one, It makes him disgusted.

• Even though what he feels for you is intense and overwhelming, He will not show it at all. Cold and mechanical

• Lucifer wants to get you away from them. He doesn’t like people touching what’s his.

• After confirming this feeling isn’t illness, He has his mind set dead on you.

• Lucifer believes that you must feel the same way. This is love, Something he had never experienced before so he knows it must be mutual right?

• He has Shima gather items from you. Photo’s, Clothing and trinkets. He has them surrounding his bed.

• So when you come along with the exwires to rescue Izumo and he views you on the camera’s his heart skips a beat.

• Lucifer orders the entire staff not to lay a hand on you. If they do then they will suffer by his hand and he MEANS this.

• So when you and the exwires are separated and shoved into different rooms, There was no demon to fight you.

• You were confused. It was just a padded cell. All until a ray of light manifested on the other side of the room

• You bared your weapon. Lucifer appeared in a fresh clone body and full uniform, Wanting to look his best for finally meeting you.

• Of course you ready your weapon but its instantly dismantled by a blinding flash, Making you drop it to the ground.

• He sighs, A tad irritated as he steps closer to you. You cant do anything but back away into a corner looking terrified.

• He approaches. The distance closes and he casts a dark shadow, His eyes glowing as he looks at you.

• You’re frozen in fear as he reaches a hand out to cup your cheek. His hands are dead cold.

• Wherever you go (If you’re allowed out) Homare will be close behind. It wont even be hidden, Saying with a cold face that she is to escort you around the place and assist you.

• But you know it’s just Lucifer keeping an eye on you.

• As soon as your on board you instantly gain the title of ‘The Commander’s Fiancée’

• Its disturbing until you find out why. Once you meet him again he explains that your days are now leading up to your marriage with him.

• He could marry you right now. But Lucifer wants to have a ceremony, An official wedding that will involve a demonic binding to him.

• You curse him out again and try to attack him in his bed. But the Lundström pull you back escort you to your cell. Lucifer calling out your praises as you go.

• You’re fed the highest class food. It doesn’t matter what you prefer since Lucifer claims “You deserve the best”

• You also get a lot of gifts like clothing and furniture. Nothing dangerous or sharp though, Cant let you getting hurt.

john b would also help with my hair, but mostly the detangling part (it takes forever at first bc he’s scared of tugging). says he loves my hair n says i should leave it down more often (it’s wild n frizzy bc of the heat n humidity), and doesn’t understand when i say it’s not supposed to look like that ):. doesn’t really mind the attitude as long as it isn’t directed towards him and it’s nothing too crazy. will pinch me in public with a “fix your face”. quickly learns that “calm down” translates to “shut up”. also learns that i really don’t like being told to shut up, so his response to hissy fits is to throw me over his shoulder and deal with me in the car 😓. picks up a little spanglish, makes me teach him the right pronunciations bc he’s not tryna look like an idiot in front of the fam. him and my dad look at each other confused while my mom, grandma, and i are cracking jokes in spanish (he doesn’t know what’s going right now either babe). the fam loves him bc he helps with the heavy lifting around the house, and that boy will eat whatever they put in front of him. almost cries when grandma calls him “mijo”.

My thoughts on the current state of the fandom

Hey, libraryofzeglyth here, I've been feeling a lot complicated on the whole state of zeg|yth nation at the moment. I just want to let out my thoughts.

On the social media fiasco.

So I am definitely part of the group of people who doesn't enjoy R posting J on socmed, her header change and bio. If we assume it is due to her knowing of this blog and knowing of it due to the stans on twitter, I see her behaviour as immature and cringe worthy.

(sidenote: I do not think it has to do with T at all, that is too delusional to me. And we have to remember not everything R does has to do with T.) We also discredit her maturity and friendship with Tom at that point. Maybe they aren't communicating, maybe they are. We only have tarot to go off of, we don't actually know how their friendship happening. We have to remember everything we are doing is just speculation, there is no certain truth.

If we step back from fandom drama, she's not doing anything wrong. I think our incessant judgement is pretty overdone. Especially with the history R has with harsh judgement. We have to remember she is still 22 years old, and she's going to do pretty cringe worthy things to us. As a previous ask mentioned, she does have a lot of pressure on her and i don't think we're helping the situation. We're not her friends and we have no say in her behaviour. She may perceive RT shippers as haters, people who want her to dump her bf (one she very much loves) to get with T and to 'fulfill fantasies'. I mean it's already creating a divide in the fandom, people who even enjoy RT's dynamic get a gun to the forehead.

We have to accept she is in love with that man, it may be forever or it may be for this moment in time. Our constant criticism of that relationship won't make her dump him. It may actually make her run to him even more. We just have to let her be. Let's let her have her grace.

On the zeg|ythofficial blog.

The second factor we have to remember is this blog is about answering asks and hearing people’s opinions. Asks from numerous people with varying opinions. And I imagine running this blog must be draining and difficult to figure out. The questions i imagine you would ask yourself is: Do you answer all asks? How do you filter out the ones you don’t? Won’t people feel offended if you don’t answer them? You’ve made your opinion clear on the topic of R’s socmed, and people agree with it. But there tends to become this feedback loop of people dishing out the same opinion and you then agreeing with them. And so seeing that opinion over and over again can kind of translate to a copious amount of criticism if someone were to scroll through the blog rn.

But also the very function of this blog is to answer asks and let people vent out their thoughts. Im doing that very thing now. We have to give a lot of credit to you for trying your best to be neutral and running this blog like a well oiled machine. And you're also human and your own opinions will always bleed through.

There's also this added weird factor of twitter calling out this blog and mentioning it to R. I wish we weren't constantly mentioned on twitter and that side would leave us alone. This blog is on tumblr, so it would never reach R. R isn't meant to see it at all. It is for us to speculate, have open discussions, do fun little tarot readings, and thirst after zeg|yth

On irl shipping.

The next factor, irl shipping. All of us have our variations of delusion and I'm guilty of stalking R’s socmed. We are in a drought rn and speculation will naturally come to the surface. And this causes people to then overly criticize what R is doing. But now I feel we’ve gone overboard and I agree with the anon about how R has a right to gush about her boyfriend. Is it cringe? Most definitely. But does it deserve such bouts of criticism? no. I am a hardcore shipper of zeg|yth but I think the fandom is turning a lot toxic rn and people are being divided. And the zeg|yth fandom is starting to be seen as nasty. There’s too much focus on r and js relationship. And we’re losing sight of what we’re all really here for. The deep connection between R and T.

I think we’re all in agreement that R and T are gonna be a very long game (and that’s if anything happens). But if R continues to see stuff like this I do think it will hurt her friendship with T.

As we have been saying to R, I think we have to take a step back from that situation. (Not zeg|yth though, never zeg|yth.) STOP this constant scrutinizing of R. Let her live her life, and if RT happens it happens.

Let's be more positive to R and remember why we love her. For her intelligence, strength, sensitivity, empathy, talent and kindness. She's our cringey theatre kid! Here's a prompt for you all, why do you love R? How did you get into her? What is one of her moments you love?

I'll go first, one of R's moments I love is this stream of conscious she did for her youtube video: i got sad in paris (but it's okay) it's from 18:13-to the end (posted Jan 31, 2023). About social media and the winged victory. It is one of the most moving and heart touching speeches I've heard in a long time. It's super long so i'll share only a bit here, but I recommend listening to the whole speech.

because the thing is, when MC was gone, mal was vulnerable. he lost either his lover or one of his most important friends, PLUS imtura, and then he took on this huge responsibility (the orphanage) and overworked himself and had this whole guilt thing going on. all that put him in a vulnerable position to be manipulated. and i mean he does keep talking about how losing MC changed him. so it makes sense

what I don't get is. how does that corruption work?

we know shadow corruption in book1 was mostly whispers promising you power and shit and telling you to kill people, but that was the shadow controlled by the shadow court. and i dont think the shadow court has the time and resources to run this routine rn, plus, I don't think it'd work on mal. he might arguably be ambitious but I can't see mal being swayed by promises of power or falling for evil whispers telling him to kill people. he's too smart for that, and tbh, i think that he cares too much (about mc, about his friends, about the orphanage) to trade them for power and/or money

but we also do know that mal's obsession with money comes from a place of needing stability, because he grew up without nothing and it's made him vulnerable and unable to care for himself, much less others. he's scared of being in that position again, and so he is always after it. which means i can only see the corruption working in the following ways:

instead of promising power and riches and whatever the fuck else to mal, what they promised is that he'd be able to keep the kids, and his friends, safe. he wouldn't have to worry about what happening to MC happening to them. he would be able to ensure stability and safety to all of them. and that's what swayed him

mal straight up doesn't know he's corrupted. maybe he's just mentally broken and the shadow is manipulating him subtly because of that

mal has been full on damien'ed and this is some shadow copy or whatever (which explains why valax' glaive pretty much didn't affect him. he claims it wasn't deep enough for the shadow to seep in but it SURE AS FUCK DIDN'T LOOK THAT WAY). who's, idk, spying on us? and the real mal is in god knows where looking for mc, or maybe even stuck in the shadow realm somehow, or idk, something

maybe im just being delusional and refusing to accept the facts but i doubt PB would go the route of having a LI turn full on evil. and again i just really don't feel like it's mal's style. and while obviously mal's stiltedness could be explained by him not wanting mc to know how much he's been hurting... that's not his m.o. when mal is trying to deflect, he turns the charm up to 11. and right now he's been acting almost dull. i mean i loved mal in the latest chapters but something still feels wrong in a way that it doesn't with any of the other LIs

also, i wonder if nia knows. i mean, she's a high powerful priestess or whatever, and she keeps saying she needs to believe corrupted people could be saved. the obvious answer to that is because of her whole shadow situation, but what if it's also about mal? alternatively, mal knows about nia and that was part of what drove him over the edge

Basically Eddie and reader are dating and at school that day, reader hears someone in the halls talking about how Chrissy was seen by his trailer and then later that day in the cafeteria reader thinks she saw Eddie and Chrissy making fuck me eyes at each other. (Obviously she’s just being jealous and delusional but she doesn’t know that). Later eddie goes to her house just to see her and he realizes that’s she’s being quiet and is giving him the cold shoulder. Which leads to a argument and about what she saw then eddie telling her it wasn’t true and Chrissy was only there for weed and just reassuring reader that she’s the only one he loves. Reader is still angry so while they’re making out that leads to sex and she’s the dom so she’s taking out her emotions on him a bit (he’s consenting tho, nothing dubious here) but she’s calling him names which he loves so damn much and she’s degrading him and riding his face blah blah blah I think you get it from here but yeah. Majority Hellfire were chatting about the next campaign while eating lunch at our usual spot in the cafeteria. You had stopped at your locker to grab your lunch and your belongings for your upcoming lesson. You had met Robin and walked the remaining distance to the cafeteria with her, chit-chatting while you overheard some of the fellow students engaging in gossip. It wasn't until Eddie and Chrissy were mentioned that you gave it any thought. "Have you heard?",  "Chrissy was seen at Eddie's place yesterday, I wonder what they were doing.". "Doesn’t Eddie have a girlfriend?" She said in a way that made it clear she was speaking to you, you and Robin walked faster to get away from the gossip.

"Okay, what did I just hear?" You panicked, tears welling up in your eyes, wondering if Eddie had been having an affair with Chrissy behind your back. Robin is holding you as you start to cry as she consoles you. " Hey, relax. We don't even know if it's true yet. Seriously, do you think Eddie would really cheat on you?"  Robin comforted. 

You wiped your eyes and sighed, "I mean- I don't know." Chrissy is attractive, so I don't blame him", you admitted. " Hey, don't talk about yourself like that! You're very attractive, majority students want you!"  Robin rubbed your back and said. “You’re Right, maybe i should go in there and see what happens” you said, with a fake smile. “Alright, just know im here for you- if anything goes wrong come to me, alright?” Robin said and patted your back. “Thank you Robin, really thank you” you send her off with a smile before reaching into your pocket and grabbing your small mirror to fix your makeup.

You had gone to the table where your friends were seated; normally, you would have sat on Eddie's lap, but after learning the rumours, you weren't feeling it. After saying hi to everyone, you took a seat Next to Eddie. Eddie had prepared space on his lap for you; had even expected you to sit there, so when you didn't even turn to face him, he knew something wasn't right..

"What are the plans for Hellfire, Eddie?"  Gareth questioned as he ate a grape. Eddie hadn't caught the group's attention. He wasn't even looking at them; instead, he was concentrating on the cheerleaders' table. When you turned around, Chrissy was staring Eddie's way, and Eddie was doing the same. It almost looked like Eddie wanted to fuck Chrissy right there, you thought.

At this point, you werent sad. You were furious and jealous.

“Eddie!” Dustin shouted at him in an effort to attract his attention. "What's up guys," Eddie said when he finally turned to face the group. Totally baffled by what was happening, he asked. “Are you all right?” Eddie raised a brow. “Y-yeah, uh-Uhm, we were wondering..what we're doing for Hellfire tonight." He looked at everyone else so they could nod.

“Haven’t finished the campaign yet, been busy lately.” Eddie said not looking at anybody. ‘Busy how?’ you thought, could be had been busy with Chrissy? You had tried to not think much of it but it’s really getting to you, Eddie  not being honest and now giving up his time for her? “Uh- Hey guys i need to go meet Robin for- something yeah ill see you guys later”. you quickly gathered your stuff and left the table before you did something  you shouldnt have done. You had told Robin to meet you in the bathroom- locking yourself in the stall as you waitied for her.  You hurried outside when you heard the door open to find Robin. " Hey, what's up, what happened?"  Robin questioned. "I really think Eddie is cheating. I saw him staring at Chrissy like he wanted to Fuck her; Chrissy was doing the same, and now he didn't even finish the campaign because he was "busy!" you cried. "Hey, relax, I told you. are going to resolve this, okay?" " Oh fuck, now I have class with him, what am I going to do, I don't even want to look at him now", the bell for the next lesson rang. As you paced the room, " Hey, I'm in your class too; can we sit together, alright? Don't give him your satisfaction; instead, ignore him, and make him upset because he sorely deserves it", grinned Robin. “Y-yeah your right- im not gonna speak to him today honestly, he can go run to Chrissy for all i care.” you laughed.

You and Robin entered the room and saw that Eddie had reserved a seat for you next to him at the back of the classroom. You and Robin exchanged glances as you took your places at the front of the class; you didn't even return Eddie's smile, which made him even more suspicious. you and Robin were having a quiet conversation as the class went on, it was something normally you and Eddie would do. He could see you smiling and laughing- something you hadnt been doing with him all day. When the class was finally over, you and Robin quickly left to avoid speaking to Eddie. When you went back to your locker to get your belongings to go home, you and Robin couldn't stop laughing at how Eddie looked when you both to ignored him. " You should have seen the expression on his face! You both laughed as you left the school through the doors. "It was honestly so funny!".  “Hey!"  A voice you knew asked, "Uh sweetheart, you coming to Hellfire tonight?" Eddie must have run to catch up with you because you turned around to see him gasping heavily. You replied coldly, "Hey, I'm really busy tonight." You replied coldly.  “Oh. Okay.” Eddie squinted. "Have fun." you shruged, leaving the school.  You had taken a shower and changed into your silk pyjamas around eight o'clock. You had been watching a movie that Eddie and you planned to watch on the weekend. You had missed Eddie, but how could you, he 'cheated' right?   you were lost. You wanted to talk to him but at the same time you didnt want too, how could he do this? 

You had been lost in your thoughts as you heard the fimilar three knocks at your bedroom window, great. Eddie was here.

You turned to see him- he looked really sad and frustrated at the same time. You walked to the bedroom window, and opened it.

“Uh he-” “What did i do?” Eddie spat, climbing into your room.  “What do you mean? you sassed back. “I said what. did. I. do?” Eddie was starting to get furious. “I should be asking you what you did Eddie! You think i dont know about Chrissy going to your house and not telling me? and you dont think i didnt see you staring at her across the cafeteria?
