Thinking about the Tweels parents reacted to them bringing home a partner, think of how excited mama Ashengrotto will be when Azul brings home his mate. After seeing Azul alone, depressed, and self-loathing for so many years, seeing him have the confidence to bring home his mate. If he is in his Merform she is even more thrilled. When she sees them comfort and hug him and allows Azul to cling to them she may faint. If/when they get married, you know she is throwing the biggest wedding reception in her restaurant. Yuu’s dress or tux, completely covered no matter the cost, all food, covered. She is just happy that her son found someone and Mr. Ashengrotto has to hold her back and keep her from squeezing Yuu to tight out of joy. She would also drop hints that she would be a great grandma and show you how cute Azul was in all his baby pictures.
Azul would probably die of embarrassment when his mom shows baby pictures and when they are finally alone (thanks to Azul’s Stepdad reminding her she has a Business to take care of) he finally relents:
“I’m sorry, she is just excited to meet you,” Azul has yuu curled in his many arms inside his octopot.
“Is she the reason you waited so long to introduce me to your parents?”
“Yes… also she has three books full of photos hidden in the house I can’t find and my step-father won’t tell me where they are. They just appear when guest come over and disappear when I try to burn them later.”
“Well, we are meeting your Grandma tomorrow so things should be better there!”
Azul groaned.
“More picture books?”
“Six books. I have no clue how she got half of those photos, I think she hired the tweels behind my back!”
She's so happy upon learning about Azul's partner. Ms Iris Ashengrotto is a sweet woman whose restaurant started from the bottom to become a renounced, exclusive dining experience that only the most wealthy, prim and proper folks under the sea could have the privilege of eating. It's why the Ashengrottos and the Leech family have worked together for so long, it makes a fine establishment for their… “business” deals. She's what we would equate to Gordon Ramsay, really: no-nonsense, with strict and high expectations in her kitchen. Similarly, she is oh so sweet with children, her own especially.
So it was a pain to watch Azul grow up so lonely, though she could never get him to tell her why. Iris assumed that it was due to bullying, most merfolk are not kind to cecaelias, but she couldn't go off and scare random children into not interacting with her son. Nor could she talk to their parents without knowing for sure if that was the case, or if her son was just naturally shy. It didn't help her worries when her son got skinner and skinner, thinking she didn't notice him look at his body in the mirror as he poked and prodded at what little fat remained on him.
She took comfort when the Leech parents sent their twins off to keep Azul company, though he didn't seem to warm up to them for quite some time. Even when he went to NRC with the twins, opening his own establishment, Iris was still concerned about him making friends. It's why she was so pleasantly surprised to hear from her son during his second year about his partner. He's shyly gushing about you to him, a magicless human that slithered their way into his locked up heart. With the way he describes you, like you hung the moon and starts, she's already planning a wedding in her head.
It takes some nudging after that to get him to bring you for a visit, but he eventually did over the summer break. Oh, she was delighted to see his limbs unconsciously curl around you, holding you close as you curled into him yourself. You were so cute! A sweetheart! A delight! A perfect child-in-law! Azul, please forgive her if she starts sobbing, but how else is a mother supposed to react when she sees her child gaze at someone with so much love in their heart?
The first day she's monopolized your time, feeding you and Azul all sorts of food and snacks, offhandedly mentioning that the two of you would have to fatten up a bit to give her health grandchildren. She had to withhold a laugh at Azul's mortified expression. Iris has several albums of baby and childhood pictures, eager to coo over how cute and chubby Azul was as a baby. Her son is sulking at the other end of the couch, but he still has a tentacle curled around your ankle, never leaving you for long.
It's when she's hiding away her album (one of three, Azul's destroyed many be she always has spares), that she overhears your conversation. Iris had stopped by his bedroom to let you two know that she needed to return to the restaurant, but instead quietly delighted at the sight of you two in his octopot. A cecaelia's octopot, hiding place, is a very private and intimate place. So seeing you, cradled in Azul's lap, as his many arms hold you close to him, makes her heart swell.
She decides to leave you two alone, taking one last peek as you giggle at a pouting Azul, before sharing a soft kiss. Iris is smiling at the sight, sighing as she can finally relax, knowing her son is going to be taken care of.

“Ohh, Michael!” An older woman croons, making you and your boyfriend turn your heads at the same time, “How lovely to see you!”
“Nice to see you too, Aunt Janet.” Michael says, his voice monotone, and gives the woman an awkward half-hug. You give him a sympathetic grin when he rolls his eyes at you over her shoulder.
“And who is this?” She asks, turning to look you up and down with a smile.
“She’s my girlfriend,” Michael explains, taking a second to introduce the two of you, “We met at uni.”
“Nice to meet you.” You smile politely and shake her hand.
“How wonderful!” She turns to you and puts a hand on your forearm before leaning in slightly with a grin, “We were beginning to give up on this one ever finding someone to put up with him!” She grins, giggling like it’s the funniest joke in the world.
You merely awkwardly chuckle, though it only takes one glance at Michael to know he’s fuming. You can’t really blame him, this is how it’s been all evening, ever since you’d arrived at his parents house. Michael had tried to talk you out of accompanying him to their annual Christmas party, claiming that hell would be a lesser punishment, but you’d insisted, saying it couldn’t be that bad.
When you’d first pulled up to the Gavey’s home, you’d been excited! They’d gone all out with the decorations, though Michael claimed they usually did, but that didn’t stop you from marveling at all the garland, lights, and wreaths that adorned every inch of the house. And since this year’s party was apparently more formal than usual, that just gave you the chance to ogle at your boyfriend in a tux, which was an automatic win in your book.
And yet, here you are, listening to yet another joke at Michael’s expense and hating every second of it. It seemed like every relative and family friend had one in store, if it wasn’t about finally finding someone to put up with him, it was about what he must’ve done to bribe you into it, or that he must be paying you to be here. Not to mention the backhanded compliments; you’d grown so tired of hearing remarks about how they’re so happy that Michael had finally found someone or, “Oh, finally! Took him long enough!”
“Old fucking bat,” Michael mutters under his breath as Aunt Janet totters off, “Knew we shouldn’t have come.” He grumbles, pushing his glasses back up the bridge of his nose.
“M’sorry, babe,” you sigh, giving him a small half smile as you place a comforting hand on his leg, “I don’t understand why they can’t simply be nice.
He scoffs next to you, rolling his eyes with a sardonic smile, “Wouldn’t be a real Gavey Christmas without snide comments, fucking losers.”
Tumblr media
The evening continues in the same fashion and suddenly you understand why Michael has always been so defensive and eager to prove himself, you would be too in a family like this.
You can tell your boyfriend is operating on a very short fuse and offer him a placating smile every time you notice him clenching his jaw or notice his breathing pick up, chest heaving under his black suit jacket.
However, it’s finally a comment his father makes during dinner that sets him off. You’ve hardly started eating when it happens, with everyone sitting around the Gavey’s impressively large dining room table passing various dishes back and forth.
“So,” Mrs. Gavey started, giving Michael a pointed look as she refilled her glass of wine, “How were your marks this term?”
You glance down in time to see your boyfriend white knuckle his fork and quickly stroke a hand over his knee, which seems to help lessen his tension somewhat, thankfully.
“Distinctions,” he answers dryly, keeping his eyes fixed on the table, “Obviously.”
His mom simply nods, not offering any praise or even a generic, “Well done,” much to your surprise.
And a few seconds later, everything blows up.
“How’s that friend of yours doing?” Mr. Gavey butts in, setting his steak knife down as he speaks, “What was his name? Owen… Oscar, maybe?”
“Oliver.” Michael corrects him, so quickly and quietly that you’re surprised his dad even catches it.
“Oliver! Of course, and how’s he doing? Hm? You haven’t mentioned him in some time.”
There’s a beat of silence in which you fight the urge to kick Mr. Gavey under the table, knowing exactly where this would go.
“We don’t… talk anymore. I haven’t seen him for ages.” He grits out; his leg tenses up under your palm once again when his mother lets out a disappointed sigh, as if she were getting ready to scold a small child.
“Michael, honestly,” she starts with a small shake of her head, “It’s not good for you to be so socially isolated all the time.”
“I’m fine.”
“What about that other boy you used to go around with, hm?” His mom continues on, seemingly oblivious to his foul mood, “The one you were so close to in primary school, oh, he was lovely.”
“Felix, wasn’t it?” Mr. Gavey quips, “Whatever happened to him? I always thought he had such a good head on his shoulders.”
“He’s a cunt.” Your boyfriend seethes lowly, all but vibrating with rage as he spits each word out.
“What was that, dear?” His mom asks, none the wiser.
“He’s a cunt!” Michael exclaims, his fork clattering across the table as he tosses it down, scraping his chair back across the floor.
“Michael!” Mrs. Gavey chides, a horrified look on her normally placid face as she, quite literally, clutches at her pearls.
“If you’ll fucking excuse me.” Michael mutters, tossing his cloth napkin down onto the table with a dull thud before retreating from the table with a growl.
The silence that follows is deafening as everyone stays frozen at the table for a moment; you have to bite the inside of your cheek to keep from laughing at the shell shocked expression on his grandmother’s face.
After a beat, Mr. and Mrs. Gavey begin falling all over themselves to apologize, awkwardly laughing as they make excuses for Michael, as if their bullying hadn’t made him snap.
“I’m gonna go check on him,” you say after a moment, giving polite smiles to his parents as you stand from the table, “Just to make sure he’s okay.”
“Of course, dear,” his mother nods sagely, ever the beacon of motherly wisdom, “We know how sensitive little Michael is.”
As soon as your back is turned you roll your eyes, nose wrinkling in disgust. Little Michael? What the fuck?
Tumblr media
It only takes you a minute to locate him upstairs as you quickly spot the door to his childhood bedroom tightly closed. You smile sadly as you walk over to it, you pause for a moment before knocking softly.
“Michael?” You call, pressing an ear against the door, “You in there?” Your brows furrow when you hear a small sniffle from the other side of the door and your hand automatically goes to the doorknob, a sigh of relief leaving you when it easily turns.
Your heart breaks when you push the door open and peek inside, quickly spotting Michael on his bed, head in his hands, shoulders shaking.
“Oh,” you breathe, hastily closing the door as you let yourself into his room, “Michael.” You sigh, sitting beside him on his small twin bed and slinging an arm around his shoulders.
“M’fine…” He says softly, dejectedly.
“You are not,” you pull him to you, rubbing a hand over his bicep as you hold him closely, “No one would expect you to be, not after all that.”
He merely nods and tucks his head into your neck, sniffling sadly as his blond hair tickles your chin, one arm wraps around you while he busies himself with plucking lightly at the hem of your dress, running his finger over the smooth satin seam.
“You wanna talk about it?” You ask softly, pressing a sweet kiss to the crown of his head.
“Not tonight,” his voice is muffled slightly against your collarbone as he speaks, “Please.”
You nod, opting to stay quiet and simply hold him for the time being.
Tumblr media
You don’t know how much time passes but eventually, he seems to calm down, at least his shoulders stop trembling and he stops rubbing at his eyes and sniffling.
Finally, once his breathing has evened out, you decide to speak up.
“They don’t deserve you.” You murmur, pulling back just enough to meet his gaze, your heart twisting when you see his beautiful blue eyes rimmed with red.
“Love…” He sighs, ready to fight you on it.
“That’s all I wanted to say,” you assure him quickly, “They don’t.”
You hold his face in your hands gently, studying him with a soft smile. He really did look delectable in his suit, so smartly put together and polished.
Michael must be feeling the same way, no doubt riding the small high that usually came after a solid rush of emotion. His eyes darken as he looks back at you, Adam’s apple bobbing enticingly in his throat as he swallows thickly.
You don’t know who moves first, unable to find it within yourself to care as his warm lips slot perfectly against your own.
A relieved groan sounds from his chest and his hands immediately come up to cup your waist, his thumbs rubbing appreciatively over the soft material of your dress as you shiver, already getting lost in his touch.
“Mikey,” you murmur, biting into your lower lip as he kisses down across your jaw, his hands scrambling to pull you into his lap, “S-Should we?” Your voice trembles as he gently sucks at the sensitive spot on your neck, drawing your mind further and further from the party taking place downstairs.
“Need you,” he rasps, unable to stop himself from smirking as you keen against him when he skirts his hands up your form to cup your breasts through your dress, your nipples already hard and wanting against the satin, “Just – I need you, love.”
He’s so desperate, you couldn’t say no and finally decide to throw caution to the wind. You smile triumphantly as you run your hands over his trim waist, tucking them under his jacket to get closer to him, savoring the feel of his warm skin even through the thin material of his button down.
Finally, you push the suit jacket off his shoulders and, needing to feel him against you, waste no time hastily undoing the buttons on his shirt, yanking it out from under his trousers and belt before quickly dropping both to the floor.
Apparently just as impatient, Michael chooses to simply push the thin straps of your dress off of your shoulders and growls deeply when your dress falls down your chest, exposing your breasts to his hungry gaze. Without missing a beat, he pulls you closer to him, groaning as your core presses tightly against his still-clothed erection. As soon as your chest is level with his face, he mouths at the underside of your breast, cupping the other in his hand. He peers up at you through his glasses, already fogging up against his cheeks, as he wraps his pink lips around your nipple and gingerly sucks it into his mouth, groaning against your supple skin at the breathy moan you let out.
You hold his head against your chest, fingers gripping tightly at his short hair as your head tilts back, small whimpers and whines escaping past your lips as you try your best to stay quiet. Your hips seem to move of their own accord, rocking against him as he worships your breasts.
“Michael,” you whimper, your core clenching tightly when you look down and take in his flushed face. You press your lips against his again, frantically kissing him as your tongue invades his mouth, “What do you want?”
“You.” His reply is automatic, his hands kneading greedily at your tits as he stares up at you, bare chest already heaving.
You can’t help but chuckle a little, pride blooming in your chest at the fact that he’s already this strung out. Nevertheless, you give a quick shake of your head, smirking when he whines impatiently.
“How do you want me, Mikey?”
The desperate look behind his eyes softens instantly, his pink lips parting enough to reveal the tiniest sliver of his front teeth. Somehow, he blushes more and just barely shakes his head at you, swallowing thickly like he always does when he’s flustered.
“Can you be on top?” He asks quietly, blue eyes flitting between yours behind his gold-rimmed glasses, “I just – I don’t have it in me to be daddy tonight, love.” He confesses quickly.
You chuckle again, always impressed with him when he shows his more vulnerable side, and instantly you nod, cupping his soft cheeks again.
“Of course I can do that,” you keep your voice soft, even the small kiss you give him is soft, “Lay back for me, yeah? I don’t wanna wait.”
Nodding eagerly, he doesn’t waste time and leans back on the narrow bed, helping you climb atop him as he does. He groans appreciatively as you settle on his hips, licking his lips as he stares up at you. He watches as your breasts heave with every breath while his hands trace down over your hips to cup your ass.
“You’re so beautiful, love,” he murmurs, tugging your dress up over your bum before kneading the supple flesh, watching intently as you whimper above him, “So soft and pretty and fuck– fucking perfect.” He finishes with a growl, blue eyes rolling back when you rock down against him.
Heat courses through your veins at his words and you hurry to undo his belt, the metal buckle tinkling softly in the quiet of his bedroom as you push it to the side, too frantic to bother to pull it off him entirely. Your fingers quickly find the button of his trousers and you all but yank them open the second you have the zipper undone, sighing happily as his hard cock bobs against his stomach, the head already flushed and steadily leaking.
“Jesus Christ,” he groans, his back arching a little with the relief of his erection finally being freed, “Y’gonna ride me, princess?”
“Mhm,” you nod with a smirk, wiggling on his lap as you situate yourself perfectly above his length, “You deserve to be taken care of, Michael.” You coo softly, bending forward a little to pull your lacy underwear to the side, not having the patience to properly remove them.
Your comment seems to have gone to your boyfriend’s head and you smirk when you feel his cock jump up, twitching against your center as a soft groan leaves him. You bite your lip when you grab his length, loving how warm it felt in your hand. Carefully, you position him at your dripping center and slot the head against your entrance.
Both of you moan in unison as you sink down slowly, his thick length filling you completely as your hips finally press against his.
“Goddammit,” he curses, roughly grabbing your ass as he squeezes his eyes shut, trying to keep himself anchored even though he knows in the back of his mind it’s useless with how tightly you’re gripping him, “You feel so fucking good, pretty girl, fucking love this sweet little cunt.”
His praises go straight to your core and you clench around him, somehow tighter, making him grunt underneath you. Bracing your hands on his shoulders, you start moving your hips over him, using your thighs to push off of his lap before sinking back down, whining when you feel the head of his cock press perfectly against that delicious little spot inside you.
“You’re so good, Mikey, fuck,” you pant, fighting to keep your eyes open to savor each expression that crosses his flushed face, “Y-You feel so perfect, holy shit, everything about you is perfect.”
He groans deeply, lower lip trembling as he stares up at you in awe, brows furrowed as he takes in every inch of you. Blue eyes trace slowly over your form, lingering on your face before looking over your breasts. He swallows thickly as he pauses to watch them bounce tantalizingly, matching every one of your thrusts against him. Eventually, he looks down and moans softly, watching your slick pussy move over his length.
“Yeah, princess?” He encourages, making you smile softly as you realize how badly he needs this, how badly he needs to be told how good he is.
“Y-Yeah, shit,” you whimper, head spinning when he leans up to lick over one of your nipples, gently suckling at the bud as you continue, “You’re the best, Michael, fuck – best boyfriend, you’re so smart and s-so precious and f-funny and – and God!”
You practically squeal when his thumb comes down to rub at your clit, your eyes crossing at the sudden jolt of pleasure that washes over you.
“I love you, holy fuck,” you huff, thighs burning as you move somehow quicker over him, “I love you, I love – oh, shit – everything about you.” Your voice is hoarse as you breathe through soft pants, practically squirming on top of him as your head spins every time he circles his thumb over you.
“I love you too, princess,” he hums, pulling you down for a quick, desperate kiss, “You’re so damn good to me.”
“You deserve it,” you say quickly, swallowing as you pant above him, your heart hammering wildly in your chest, “You deserve everything, Michael, you’re so, so good.”
He growls at that, lips parting as he watches you. He keeps circling a thumb over your clit but fans the rest of his fingers out, holding your hip more securely. You hardly have time to think before you squeak in surprise, gasping as he begins rutting his hips up into you, the tip of his cock hitting your sensitive spot at a dizzying speed.
“O-Oh, shit!” You huff, eyes wide and wild, “Michael, Mikey, I –” You cut yourself off with a loud cry, too loud given the circumstances, but your brain whites out the second he reaches up and wraps a hand around your throat, not tightly enough to choke you but enough to hold you steady above him.
“Y’close, love?” He pants, smirking when you quickly nod, “Fucking cum with me, princess, shit, you fucking deserve it.” He hisses through clenched teeth.
All you can do is obey, your fingernails digging harshly into his shoulders as your high finally washes over you. You freeze, tensing up above him as you cry out, uncaring for the party below as your cunt clenches tightly around his length, rhythmically milking him.
“Shit, shit, fuck,” he grunts beneath you, eyes rolling back as he feels your walls contracting around his cock, drawing his own high from him as well, “Good girl, good girl.” He praises before finally cumming with a snarl. You whimper when you feel him twitch inside you, coating your walls with his thick spend.
The two of you lay panting for a while, neither of you wanting to get up or break the spell of the safe little bubble you seem to be stuck in as you lazily press kisses against whatever bits of skin you can reach.
Eventually, the sound of holiday music seems to float up to you from downstairs, along with the sounds of laughter and loud conversation. In the background, you can just barely make out the sound of wrapping paper tearing and taped boxes being pulled open.
“Sounds like it’s time for gifts,” you muse, tracing shapes on Michael’s chest as he holds you to him, softening length still buried within you, “You wanna join them again?”
He hums softly and shakes his head no with a small smile before tilting his head to look at you, his glasses sitting slightly crooked on his nose as he studies your flushed face. One hand rubs soothingly over your back as he holds you tightly to him, relishing the way your soft skin feels against him.
“Don’t need any gifts from those entitled idiots,” he laughs softly and leans down just enough to press a soft, sweet kiss to your forehead, “I have the most perfect gift right here with me already.”

Hii Ik your resquests are currently closed so you obvs don’t have to do it but when you’re up for it could you please do a part 2 w nerdy Peter on their first date. But take your time to rest and everything just thought I’d put this in for good measure ❤️
*cleaning out my drafts*
pt 1.
'first time?' peter slightly turns, it's an older man, probably mid forties and he gets an instant dad vibe. he's comfortable nodding at his question.
he's been standing in front of bouquets for at least seven minutes, nothing seems right. peter wants to make the best impression, but what if he got your least favorite flowers?
'is it a date?'
peter nods again, 'yeah. and she's super out of my league.'
the dad smiles, 'they usually are.' then steps up, he takes his time looking over each flower wrapped in cellophane.
'there's not much to go wrong on, kid. don't get the artificially dyed ones and choose something with some flowers that haven't opened up all the way. they'll last longer and smell better.'
peter feels alright with speaking his nerves to him, 'what if she hates them?'
his temporary mentor picks up a bouquet, it looks beautiful, he was right. the plastic is pushed into peter's chest, his hand wraps around the stems. 'then you bought flowers for an asshole, don't make the same mistake twice.'
it makes peter feel better, he really doesn't think he's buying flowers for an asshole.
-----
you like them. at least he thinks you do, your face lit up and you were quick to do a smell test. you even told him he did a good job at picking them out.
'these are beautiful, peter!' he's lucky he didn't buy flowers for an asshole. you delicately set them down, 'these are going in my room, by the way.' you didn't dare share the beauty with the rest of the house.
'i'm glad you like them,' he really is. peter feels the need to add how nice you look, he's not too sure on how to compliment a woman but he knows he has to try.
'you um, you look very pretty.' yikes, that sounds like he doesn't think you're pretty the rest of the time. 'you always look very pretty, but this is a different kind, like, cause it's the first time i've seen you all dressed up.'
did he just tell you he likes you better this way? peter widens his eyes, the date hasn't even started and he's already sweating. 'i mean, you didn't have to dress up for me, wait, no, you dressed for yourself. but i just meant...' he really doesn't know what he meant, but you look entirely way too amused at his fluster.
'keep going, i'm really enjoying this.'
a gentle tease at his nervous personality. he really likes it coming from you.
'i'd rather not.'
you smile wide, 'i love hearing how pretty i am tonight, but actually all the time, but differently this time, but also not. and how you like my outfit, but not too much, because all my other outfits look just as good and i definitely don't dress for the male gaze.'
it sounds like you're making fun of him, but your smile tells him you actually really like it.
'don't worry, peter. i'd act the same way if you were in a tux.' peter glances down, 'should i go put one on?' biting your lip at his joke, you push his shoulder, 'next time.'
peter's head is spinning when you pull him out the door by his hand, it's been five minutes and there's already another? you must have a thing for socially awkward guys.
---
peter watches you glance around the restaurant, he hopes he picked good. it's nice, but not nice enough to be weird.
'you're pulling out all the stops for me, mr. parker.'
peter hopes you don't notice his blush, he thinks you do when you lean closer. 'i mean, flowers and a medium fancy restaurant? you're raising my standards very quickly.'
you mean it, too. peter knows he has no experience under the belt but you've been on a few dates, nothing that stuck from what he's overheard but he can't fathom how this tops any of it.
'really? i thought you would've had better dates.'
you hum, 'maybe. one question for you, then i can let you know if this is the best date.' peter can handle that, he's good at questions. 'i'm ready.'
'what can i get to drink?'
peter tilts his head, he might not be that good at questions. 'anything you want?'
it's the right answer, you grin across the table. 'i can get a coke and you won't cheap out on me?'
peter laughs, that's what he was up against? 'so i can pay for a dinner but draw the line at soda?'
you don't directly confirm it, 'some would.'
'as long as it's not rootbeer, i'm alright with it.' your eyebrow raises, 'not a fan?' peter scoffs, 'it's like the kitchen sink of sodas, it poured all the leftovers into a giant vat and lied to everyone about liking it.'
you laugh quietly, 'who's it?'
peter is completely serious, 'capitalism.' you bite back a grin as he shifts forward a little. 'so, um, was your dad mad that you canceled for me?' your fingers tap the table, 'nope. not when i told him why.'
'wow, the first dad i know who's okay with their daughter dating.'
you stop him, 'oh, he's not crazy about the dating part. he likes the who.'
peter can't help but feel slightly offended, 'am i really that non-threatening?' suddenly your dad was okay when he was the suitor? peter really is out of his league and everyone knows it.
'oh no, you're the most threatening of them all. you're the only guy i've ever liked, so my dad was excited for me, but also a little scared because you're the strongest bet at his daughter dating someone.'
peter's heart is thumping harder than it ever has, if he wasn't in your eyesight he'd be counting his pulse. he wants to kick himself a little, he has no idea how much time he's wasted by not asking sooner. how many guys have you wished were him?
he's not able to respond, but you don't mind. the waiter has your attention, when he asks for your drink you shoot a look at peter with a gleam in your eye.
'do you have rootbeer?'
peter thinks he's gonna have a girlfriend real soon.
-----
on the walk back to your home, you had forced your fingers between his. peter can't remember the last time he held hands with someone, but it feels nice holding yours.
you swing them back and forth as you talk, he thinks the deal was secured when he brushed chocolate crumbs off your cheek from dessert because immediately after you had tied your hand into his and held him close.
'i had a very nice night, and just in case you need me to say it, that was the best date i've ever had.'
peter feels shy, but it's welcomed with you. 'you're just saying that cause i bought you rootbeer.'
you bump your elbow against his, 'next time i'll buy you a milkshake.' you weren't lying, you had a nice night. so nice you want to do it again and if peter's really lucky, you'll want to keep doing it forever.
'careful, i'll hold you to that.' he really will, peter loves milkshakes.
'i will, i love milkshakes. i have a secret place i go to all the time in the west village.' peter's eyes widen, 'west village? that's a haul for a milkshake.'
you press a hand to your forehead, 'oh no! a whole afternoon with you, how yucky!' peter hides his smile, it's nice that you want him around. 'if we get milkshakes does that mean you want a second date?'
'yes. and if i do good enough you might want a third out of me.' peter laughs, it's adorable you think he might want a third date. 'we might as well plan the fourth one now, huh?'
you bounce your arm off his. 'i think you should kiss me.' peter's jolted from his date daydream. kiss? peter plays it cool. 'what, right now?' he can't hide anything, you hear an undertone of panic but you skim over it.
'well, i'd prefer if it wasn't at my front door where i'm at risk of being seen because if my dad catches you all over me before he could meet you, i don't think he'll like you anymore.'
'so i should kiss you? right now?' peter's voice is hitched, you didn't mean to throw him off his game. you know he's a little more reserved so you were giving him the open shot, but you think you stressed him out even more.
'you don't have to! i was just offering because i thought you were going to try and do something at my door.'
peter's thankful for the night sky and the cool breeze that's chilling his burning face. 'i've never kissed anyone.' peter stops walking because you stopped. you've got an open jaw and a dead stare on him.
'repeat that.'
he'd rather not. 'i've never kissed anyone.'
you shake your head, the words aren't making sense. 'one more time.'
this is kind of a nightmare. 'i've never kissed anyone.'
'you're lying, right? this is a joke?' why is peter feeling a little insulted right now? 'it's not weird. i know several people who haven't kissed anyone yet.'
you scrunch your face up. 'no, peter, i'm not judging you because you haven't. i'm confused about how you haven't. like, no girl has ever tried to kiss you?'
'no.' it's an instant answer.
'not even as a kid or something?'
'never.'
you feel offended on his behalf, oh well, more for yourself. you stand straighter and give him what he's been missing out on. 'if you'd let me, i'd love to kiss you.'
'really?' sure, peter might've scored a second date but a kiss too? his first one at that. 'yeah.' you step up, peter can feel his heart pounding. he knows he's awkward, he's unsure of his stance, he doesn't know how to lean into it.
'it's instinct. don't panic, okay?' easier said than done because peter swears he's at risk of throwing up when you loop your arms around his neck. you bounce up on your feet, just a tad, the rest of your weight brings peter down to your level.
there's a brief moment of nerves but they're not bad. it's exciting, it's thrilling, it's new. your gaze bounces between his eyes and his mouth, you think he catches on and does the same.
one final moment before you seal the deal, peter parker is going to be all yours. your heart races when you lean in, your lips brush against his feather soft.
one, two- you swear sparks fly. peter's warm and gentle. he's unsure and it makes the kiss so much better. a hesitant hold on your hips when your chest bumps his, you add a little movement- you're not trying to add too much, but god, you'd pay fat dollars to explore him further.
peter pulls away first, you almost claw him back into you. 'i'm sorry.' you lightly shake your head, he has nothing to be sorry for. 'i think i'm bad at kissing.'
'you couldn't be farther from the truth, parker. you're the best one.'
peter doesn't believe you for a second. 'really?'
'yeah. cause it's you.'
peter melts. 'i think you're an angel sent from heaven for me.' peter isn't sure if he's religious or not, and he was leaning towards not but now he thinks there has to be angels because you're proof of one.
you look away, you've never been complimented like that before. an unearthly creature whose only purpose was divine intervention, how could you not give him another kiss?
peter's surprised at this one.
'what was that for?'
'because you're really nice, super smart and kind of the hottest person i've ever seen.' compliments? you're giving him compliments? 'that's nice, but i think you're talking to yourself.'
you frown. a true grumpy look crosses over your face. 'don't do that. don't sell yourself short or act like you're not deserving of praise because i'm going to be doing a lot of it and i need you to accept it.'
before he could try to fight it, you start pulling him along. you do have a curfew after all. peter's fighting back disbelief. 'angel. i swear you're an angel.'
you shrug, 'i'm your angel.'
'you are.'
when you get home, you get a third kiss. and this time, peter kisses you.

The first time Katsuki sucks Izuku’s dick – it’s at one of those stupid press Hero galas.
Katsuki has just hit 15 on the Hero chart – he’s getting so damn close to the top 10 he can almost taste it. Izuku is only a few spots ahead of him at number 13. Despite the constant competition to snatch a top spot on the chart, the two are close as ever. Having put aside their longstanding childhood rivalry, they now run their own Pro Hero Agency together and are rapidly climbing the ranks of hero society as a team.
As usual, after the new hero rankings are released, the annual press night and celebratory gala follow. At age 24, Katsuki has now been to a handful of these events and knows the drill - dress up in a sharp tux, grace the red carpet step and repeat, schmooze with the hero business and support agency staff, etc. He finds the whole affair boring, but knows how important events like these are to his brand and his image in the media. Begrudgingly he has realized that the public’s opinion contributes a lot to his success as a hero.
Katsuki has arrived early at Izuku’s request. The green haired hero is always doing things by the book, and insists that they represent their Agency in the best way possible. So now here they are, seated next to one another at their Hero Agency’s table. Izuku looks sharp and handsome in his tailored forest green tuxedo. His dark bowtie is slightly askew, reminding Katsuki fondly of the way Izuku could never figure out how to properly put on his UA uniform tie. The explosion hero watches Izuku pour himself a glass of water and wishes he could grab his friend by the tie and pull him in for a deep kiss. He lets his fantasies run wild for a moment – he imagines kissing a bare freckled shoulder and hearing Izuku moan his name. He pictures a warm bed and skin that’s rough and sore to the touch after too many hours spent training together. He’s visualizing a life where two best friends can be…something more. Something absolute. He’s pulled from his fantasies as he hears Izuku’s sweet laugh bubbling up to his left.
He turns to see Izuku talking animatedly to a pretty member of their support staff as he butters a dinner role. The staff member is pretty and wearing a form-fitting gown that is a bit too low cut to be appropriate for a work event. She is flirting gratuitously as she tosses her dark brown hair over her shoulders and all but squishes her generous breasts together to put them on display. Izuku blushes faintly and tries to focus on her face, but his eyes keep wandering down to her lavish chest.
“Mr. Midoriya, you’ll need to show me that new move you’re working on!” She gushes, touching his arm. “I’ve heard so much about it!”
“Anytime! You should come to the training gym at the Agency tomorrow and I’ll walk you through it.” Izuku says smoothly, ignoring the woman’s the sexual subtext. “We just renovated the gymnasium floors with AstroTurf so it’s much easier to move around and train now.”
“I’d love to! I’ll clear my schedule – how’s 2pm work?” She swirls a martini high as she rests her pretty face in the palm of her other hand. She gently bats her eyelashes up at Izuku.
“It’s a date!” Izuku declares, taking a bite of his bread.
A fiery tongue of jealousy licks at Katsuki’s belly as he watches the two of them flirt. He crosses his arms and takes a look around the rest of the room – seeing colleges and classmates alike begin to take seats at their various assigned tables. He should spare his feelings by getting up to chat with his friends Kirishima and Sero, who are standing only a dozen feet away by the bar. As he gets up to leave, he hears the big-chested brunette propose another date be added to Izuku’s calendar:
“Actually, why wait until tomorrow? There’s so much we have to discuss, why don’t we grab a drink after the gala? I know a cute little sake bar a few blocks over. We can cozy up at the bar and discuss all of your favorite moves.” She’s laying it on thick, and Katsuki is pissed to see that it’s working on his friend.
Izuku takes a deep swig from his water glass before answering. “That would be great – I’ve been meaning to get out and see more of the town! I’ve been a bit too in the weeds with work and training lately. It would be nice to take a little break from work and enjoy some company.” He flashes the woman his winning Pro Hero smile and she practically swoons.
“Here – let me get your number so I can text you the address. We can meet up after the final photo opp!” She hastily passes her phone – an iPhone covered in bright green and black charms. Katsuki stands up angrily – he’s seen enough.
“Deku, can I talk to you about something? Agency stuff.” Izuku’s head snapped around at the seriousness of Katsuki’s tone. He frowns at Katsuki’s dark expression.
“Yeah – of course.” Izuku gets up from the table and apologizes to the woman, promising to return to their conversation shortly. He leaves her sitting there holding out her phone, a defeated expression lines her pretty features. The jealous demon in Katsuki’s chest purrs at the sight.
Izuku follows Katsuki past their friends and out of the ballroom. They wander the halls for a moment.
When he’s sure they’re far from prying eyes and ears, Katsuki rounds on Izuku.
“So what – you’re dating her now?!” Katsuki demands, a little more harshly than he had intended.
“W-well she did ask me for a drink after this, and I said yes.” Izuku stutters out, before his eyes turn defiant. “Why do you care? She’s sweet and you said just yesterday that she designs the best support items you’ve used this year.”
“You idiot, you can’t go dating employees!” Katsuki scowls, crossing his arms defensively.
“Kacchan – she’s an independent contractor. She doesn’t report directly into me, you know that. And we’re not getting married or anything – she just asked me to a drink.” His bright green eyes narrow and he leans forward a bit, assessing Katsuki’s dim expression. “What’s this really about Kacchan?”
“I-I…” Katsuki can’t put his feelings into words. He hadn’t planned ahead this far – his hotheadedness had once again taken the reins of his body and mind, leaving little room for logic. He briefly flounders, seeing how he may have majorly messed up here. After all, Izuku was allowed to date whoever he pleased. Katsuki had no right to meddle in his friends’ love affairs unless Izuku straight up asked his opinion. His palms begin to sweat and he breathes deeply to keep himself from activating his quirk. After a moment, he has mastered his temper and feels himself become more level. His palms begin to dry.
Katsuki looks nervously around and spots an empty dressing room to the side of the stage entrance. He hastily shoves Izuku through the door – whatever’s about to be discussed isabsolutely not for the ears of the press and all of the extras lingering about. He shuts it behind them and clicks the lock, ensuring the rest of their conversation will be blessedly private.
“I don’t want you dating that chick. That’s what this is about.” He scowls, dropping himself into the red makeup chair and swiveling to face his best friend. Izuku remains standing.
“Do you have a good reason? Let me guess – she’s some kind of freak villain in disguise and you’re ‘trying to protect me.’ You already used that excuse once, Kacchan, and I was dumb enough to believe you the first time.” Izuku cocks his head to the left, looking up into Katsuki’s dark eyes searchingly. “I appreciate the concern. But just because we’re childhood friends and we spend practically every waking moment together running this agency, that doesn’t mean you get to dictate who I date.” Izuku’s ember eyes burn fiercely.
Their eyes lock as they stare each other down, challenging. Katsuki makes the mistake of glancing down at Izuku’s lips, breaking their tense eye contact.
“Look, Deku. Izuku.” He corrects himself, falling into an almost two decade-old habit of calling his friend by a demeaning nickname. He only uses the Pro Hero name Deku in battle and at press events now, as a sign of respect. Izuku looks up at him questioningly, awaiting an explanation.
Damn it all – there’s only one way to clear this up. It’s something Katsuki has been putting off for a while. He knew eventually it would come to this – and he’s nearly quaking in his designer combat boots as he rises and takes a step towards his friend. He takes a deep - albeit shaky – breath.
“Izuku…this is why I don’t want you dating any of those girls.” And throwing caution to the wind, Katsuki reaches out to grab Izuku’s face and bring it jerkily to his own. Their lips crash together with bruising force and - for once - Izuku shuts up.
They’ve done this a few times – made out. It’s happened maybe 5 times in all across the past 2 years. 3 of these times took place after long tipsy nights out at the bar with their friends, when the alcohol got them both a little horny and antsy to make bad decisions. 1 time was in Izuku’s office after a particularly fierce battle – office door locked, both had still been high on adrenaline and the searing kisses seemed like the perfect release. And the last time…well, that had been a few weeks ago.
It had taken place at Izuku’s 24th birthday and all of Class 1A had gathered to celebrate. The power in Izuku’s spacious apartment had gone out and, grumbling, Katsuki had followed the green-haired hero down to the basement to reset the circuit breaker. The duo had bickered a bit before finally fixing the breaker using Katsuki’s cell phone flashlight. As the lights came back on, Katsuki had realized with a start how close he was to Izuku’s face. Seemingly without thinking, Izuku had closed his eyes and leaned forward to capture Katsuki’s mouth with his own. It was the beginning of the night so they were both stone sober, so this had been first time they had kissed without being inebriated or high on adrenaline. The short kiss had melted Katsuki’s heart in a way he wouldn’t have expected it to. After a gentle moment, Izuku had broken away and whispered “that’s the only birthday present I really wanted.” Then he had turned on his heel to sprint up the basement stairs and to rejoin the party. Katsuki stood there for a few moments, stunned. His tried deep breathing to master his nerves, but it was no use. His head was up in the clouds and his thoughts were wrapped around a glowing image of Izuku Midoriya and his lips. He touched his mouth slowly and thought “Oh shit. Oh shit oh shit oh shit. My motherfucking goddamn asshole of a heart.” And ever since, he had been hopelessly, head over heals in fucking love with Izuku Midoriya.
Here’s the thing - they have never discussed That Kiss. Some days it seemed like a dirty little secret between them. On other days, when work was slow and Katsuki was relaxed – it felt like an oath. A promise. Their paths had always been intertwined – so of course it would make sense for them to be together in the romantic sense. Bakugo and Midoriya – their fates interlaced and tied in a bow with a pretty red string.
Katsuki had been agonizing over it all since the event – how did one broach the subject of being in love with their best friend and business partner? Had Izuku really meant it? Was it all secretly a dark and twisted prank to trick Katsuki into looking a fool? Katsuki was 99% certain it wasn’t the latter. But, then again, how could he be sure?
Baguko snaps his thoughts back to the present, where a startled Izuku’s lips are pressed against his own. His body feels with warmth as Izuku makes a soft noise in surprise at the kiss. After a moment, he shuts his eyes and surrendering himself over to Katsuki’s body.
Katsuki pulls his friend closer so that their bodies are flush – he can feel every plane of hard, taught muscle beneath the thin fabric of Izuku’s tuxedo. He wants his hands everywhere – on Izuku’s chest, his thighs, the broad expanse of his back – but instead he just holds onto the Hero’s face like he’s a drowning man, and Izuku’s mouth is the sweet kiss of life.
Their lips move together urgently, needy. Katsuki’s fingers grip Izuku’s jaw with an almost-bruising force, and Izuku winds his arms around Katsuki’s neck with just as much gusto. They slide their mouths together comfortably like that for a while. If Izuku has reservations about this arrangement, he doesn’t speak them. He just lets Katsuki kiss down his jawline and alongside his neck as he sighs appreciatively.
They make out like that for a while, but it’s different from all of their other stolen kisses. This time, it carries meaning. Katsuki doesn’t want Izuku dating other people, he wants him all for himself. Izuku’s head spins with the revelation – never in a million years did he think his friend would actually admit that to him. Of course he had sneaking suspicions about Kacchan’s feelings over the years – Katsuki often let his eyes wander freely across Izuku’s body in their shared Agency locker room – but he had never in his wildest dreams expected Kacchan to verbally admit that his need for Izuku went beyond that of friendship. In fact, Izuku was finally starting to move on, tired of pining for Kacchan. He had been trying to go on more dates and to meet other people to see if he could pull his poor heart away from the gorgeously imposing figure that is Katsuki Bakugo.
Izuku’s mind speed runs through each time they’ve kissed, ending at this exact moment. Yeah, the energy is different here. He’s sure of it. He lets his hands run along the thick muscles of Katsuki’s shoulders and his brain fuzzily whispers “Mine, all mine.”
Quite suddenly, Katsuki drops to his knees and quickly starts undoing his friend’s belt.
“W-what are you doing, Kacchan!?” Izuku sputters in alarm, moving to push Katsuki away. But his brain is all wooly and his awkward limbs feel like jelly. All he manages to grab is the collar of Katsuki’s smart tux coat.
“I’m giving you a damn blowjob, idiot. ‘Gotta show you what you can’t get from anyone else.” Damn Kacchan – always going above and beyond in every challenge he takes on. And with that, Katsuki pulls Izuku’s leather belt free in one swift motion. He casts it to the floor before moving to unbutton the green-haired hero’s pants. As soon as he works the button loose, the tailored slacks slide to the floor, revealing a clean black pair of boxers. Izuku swallows hard and makes a stammering noise – but he doesn’t move cover his erection. Katsuki admires it with relish, and maybe a little hunger. He licks his lips like the big bad wolf, about to blow down some shoddily made houses.
“Huh.” Katsuki smiles roguishly, eyeing Izuku’s boxers appreciatively. “Seems like you want me bad.”
Izuku looks down and his already flushed face becomes even redder. His freckles have almost disappeared beneath the full blooming blush that’s dancing across his face. His boner is clearly outlined against his underwear and throbbing desperately for attention. If he weren’t so turned on, he would die from embarrassment.
“Am I making you hard?” Katsuki whispers menacingly, drawing his fingertip lightly up the outline of Izuku’s cock, which twitches longingly at the contact. Katsuki cackles softly, his hands moving up to caress the hard “V” Izuku’s muscles make along his waistline before dipping beneath the thin black fabric. Katsuki moves his fingertip up to his friend’s bellybutton, before tracing it down the delicate happy train that disappears into his boxers. Izuku shivers at the contact, goose bumps appearing across his pale, toned stomach.
Katsuki looks up into Izuku’s shining face and sees that his friend’s pupils are blown wide with desire. The way his freckles are flushed is so ridiculously sexy, and he’s biting his lip in a way that’s practically sinful.
“Kacchan…” he whispers uncertainly, and Katsuki softens.
“Listen, Izuku.” The use of Midoriya’s given name brings them both back to Earth. “I won’t do this if you don’t want to. Just say the word and we can forget this ever happened and go back to that stupid party in the ballroom.”
Izuku gulps, moving to run his fingers through Katsuki’s hair. The blonde leans into the touch, sighing despite himself.
“When I kissed you on my birthday…you never said anything. I thought you didn’t want me like this.”
“Of course I want you.” Katsuki breathes, getting to his feet. “This whole goddamn time.”
Katsuki stands a few inches taller than Izuku. He brings his hand up to caress the side of Izuku’s soft freckled jaw before closing the distance between them to kiss his best friend firmly on the lips.
“Do you think all those times we’ve kissed over the past few years were just because we were drunk or trying to blow off steam? We keep coming back to each other.”
Izuku’s mouth crinkles into a huge grin. He thinks back to the first time they kissed in an alleyway as they walked home from a bar. The feeling of Katsuki’s breath mingling with his own had caused his heart to leap in a way it never had before. Then their second make out session that had occurred a few hours into Mina’s birthday party. Their hands had touched reaching for the same bottle of booze, leading the pair to hide in Denki’s room under the guise of looking for a lost wallet. Katsuki had kissed him so hard and so fiercely that Izuku had been hot and bothered about it for months.
In the present, the Pro Hero steadies his breath, looking up into his friends’ surprisingly earnest face. “Kacchan, you sound so corny…”
“Oh shut up already, dammit.” Katsuki practically growls, dipping back to capture Izuku’s mouth in a more needy kiss. Their lips melt together in a frantic pattern and Katsuki pulls his friend’s body against his own again. They fit together like puzzle pieces, and can feel each other’s arousals plainly. Izuku groans softly when Katsuki rolls his hips. After a moment, Katsuki realizes that despite the locked door, they are still very much in a public place. Izuku’s trousers are awkwardly pooled around his feet. The blonde pulls away and laughs openly at the absurdness of the situation.
“Listen, nerd.” He says, but his voice is laced with affection. “Why don’t we go back to my place and figure all of this out?” The question is soft with warmth.
Izuku looks at him for a moment, his eyes hazy.
“But Kacchan…” Izuku wraps his arms around Katsuki’s shoulders, sliding fingers up the base of his neck and into Katsuki’s thick hair. The explosion hero gets goose bumps at the touch. He never realized how much he likes his hair being touched.
“We really need to fulfill our Pro Hero duties at this party. Our agency depends on it. And if we both leave together…” Izuku trails off.
“…It might look a little suspicious.” Katsuki finishes for him. Damn, the nerd had a point there.
“Ugh, you know I hate these goddamn parties.” Katsuki says harshly. “Sometimes being a Pro feels so fake. We get paraded in front of cameras and it makes me feel like a piece of meat.”
“I know.” Izuku consoles, continuing to stroke Katsuki’s soft hair. The gentle touch feels so good that Katsuki almost shuts his eyes. He never realized how starved he was for touch. He wants Izuku – all of him – so damn much. Screw this party and the press.
“But this is important. You know how important our image is. And how we look in the press doesn’t just impact us – think about all of our employees at the agency. Their jobs are interwoven with our media presence.” Izuku mutters, forever the voice of reason.
Katsuki knew all of this – and of course he wanted to take care of the people at their agency. He wouldn’t often admit it out loud, but he was fond of all of the people they employed on the day to day. Their team was amazing and did one hell of a job supporting their Pro Heros and sidekicks. He sighs.
“I know.” He plants another kiss on Izuku’s mouth. “So…let’s compromise. Here’s how this is gonna go…” Katsuki licks his lips and reaches down to brace his large hands on Izuku’s narrow hips. “I’m going to give you an orgasm that’s going to blow your fucking mind. Then you’re going to clean yourself up, put your pants back on and go out there cancel your goddamn sake date with that chick.”
“Kacchan – oh!”  He knows Izuku is going to admonish him for wanting to do something so dirty in public, so Katsuki starts to kiss and suck at the sensitive spot on the green haired Pro’s neck to shut him up. Izuku moans softly and it’s like music to the explosion hero’s ears.
“You’re such a goodie two shoes.” Katsuki breathes as he rolls his hips into Izuku’s. The shorter hero’s pelvis automatically bucks in response.
“I know.” Izuku practically whines as Katsuki unbuttons his starched shirt and continues to kiss along his shoulder. Once he’s undone a few buttons, the explosion hero dips his hand between them and begins to palm at Izuku’s hard dick over his boxer shorts.
All Izuku can say is “oh!”
Katsuki stops and pulls away, giving his friend a break. “It’s your call. Say the word and we can stop. I think I can manage to wait until after this goddamn party is over.”
Izuku lets out a shaky sigh and brings up his wrist to check his watch. He starts to lapse into his characteristic mutter - “Okay so it’s still happy hour for networking, so dinner and speeches don’t begin for another half hour. That means that as long as we make ourselves presentable by 8pm we should be good. We can even be a few minutes late because the opening remarks typically run over the allotted time so-”
“- So that’s a yes?” Katsuki cuts him off and rolls his eyes as Izuku snaps back to reality.
Izuku smiles up at him. He’s got that fierce look of Pro Hero determination in his eyes and it makes Katsuki’s stomach drop.
“Yeah, Kacchan. It’s a yes.”
And that’s all the answer Katsuki needs. In a flash, he’s back on his knees and his heart is beating double time. The time constraint is making the whole situation even more goddamn hot and Katsuki takes another deep, steadying breath before he moves forward. He counts to ten, and once his mind is a bit clearer he hooks his thumbs into the elastic of Izuku’s boxers. He slides the material fluidly down his friend’s toned, slim hips. Izuku’s hard cock bounces free and stands at attention. His dick is beautiful – about 6 inches in length and just the right amount of thickness around. With how unkempt the hair on top of his head always seems, Katsuki is surprised to see how well groomed Izuku keeps his pelvic area. He’s neatly primed and looking fresh. Izuku blushes an impossibly deeper red as he towers above his friend. You could fry an egg on the Pro’s face.
Katsuki feels his own pants tighten at the sight of Izuku’s fully erect cock. He shifts and reaches down to adjust himself to a more comfortable position. Izuku takes notice and audaciously says “like what you see?”
“Ugh, shut up!” Katsuki feels a blush creeping across his face, and Izuku grins down at him. He reminds himself that now’s not the time to be embarrassed – not when he’s promised a mind-blowing orgasm to his best friend.
Katsuki licks his lips in anticipation for what he’s about to do. He’s never given someone head before, but he’s seen some porn and fantasized about this enough to know the basics. Katsuki smiles to himself – he always prides himself at being the best. Blowjobs are just another skill waiting to be added to his already long roster.
He reaches out and takes Izuku’s cock in his hand. He marvels at how soft it feels, and experimentally gives the thick member a slow pump. Izuku groans at the motion, his hips flexing involuntarily. Katsuki grins wickedly and continues the gesture, reveling in the gentle throb he elicits from his friend’s dick. After a few moments, he stops to spit cleanly into his palm for some lubricant. The resulting glide the hand job gains is not lost on Izuku. The shorter hero moans at the smooth touch.
Katsuki leans forward and runs his tongue around the cock’s tip a few times. Izuku whimpers at the teasing. For a brief moment, Katsuki wonders if Izuku has ever had his dick sucked before. He fleetingly thinks that he is about to knock whatever past sexual experiences Izuku has had out of the park. He is confident whatever he is about to do to his friend will be far superior to any past illicit affairs.
The explosion hero takes his friend’s dick into his mouth slowly, sucking on the head. Izuku groans and Katsuki takes that as encouragement to keep going, sliding the hard member a few more inches into his hot wet mouth.
“Kacchan…this is just…wow.” Izuku stutters out, as Katsuki uses his hand to pump the base of Izuku’s cock. He slides another inch into his mouth before he hollows out his cheeks and sucks, pulling his mouth quickly off of his friend’s cock before sliding back down. He continues the motions, gaining a steady pace and causing Izuku’s breath to become more and more ragged. Even with all of his training, the Pro hero’s legs are shaking, and his knees start to buckle. Katsuki stops what he’s doing to check in with his partner – “You doing alright up there?”
“Yeah.” Izuku says, his voice shaky. He wipes some sweat from his brow with the back of his hand. “It’s intense.”
Katsuki grins and hauls himself up to kiss Izuku before pushing the shorter man against the wall.
“I’ll make it a little easier on ya.” He gets back to his knees and with no effort swings one of Izuku’s legs over his shoulder. “I’ve got you.”
Izuku sighs and threads his fingers back into Katsuki’s thick blonde hair. The explosion hero groans as Izuku lightly pulls on a few strands.
This reaction seems to push Izuku over the edge – because when Katsuki finds the right angle to wrap his mouth back around his friend’s cock, the green haired hero is already summiting the peak of pleasure. His hips buck lightly towards Katsuki, and working together they are able to find the perfect rhythm to bring Izuku past the point of no return.
“K-k-Kacchan!” Izuku whispers through gritted teeth, his eyes half closed and rolling back as he reaches orgasm. Katsuki keeps going – he’s holding up Izuku’s toned ass with one hand as he continues to suck with a steady pace. With his free hand, he oscillates between pumping the base of Izuku’s dick and fondling his balls.
Izuku tightens his grip on Katsuki’s head and pulls the blonde’s hair hard. Katsuki almost cums in his pants at the sharp tug. He has never realized how much he likes getting his hair pulled. He had also never in his fantasizes thought that Izuku might be one for hair pulling – but damn does it make sense. As Izuku jerks a lock of his hair again, Katsuki involuntarily lets out a moan. The vibrations from his moaning send a shiver across Izuku’s already over-stimulated body. It seems to be just the thing he needs to climax.
“K-Kacchan…ah!...I-I’m gonna…” Izuku groans out, and attempts to pull his dick away from Katsuki so he can cum. Not a chance. Katsuki remains steadfast, licking and sucking like his life depends on it.
He holds onto Izuku’s bucking hips with a vice grip, and when the Hero cums it’s right into Katsuki’s waiting mouth. Katsuki almost splutters and coughs at the foreign feeling of the sticky fluid flowing down his throat, but he masters himself. Years of training and discipline have given him hard-earned control over his body and mind. After a moment of uncertainty, he’s gulping down the hot liquid greedily. He lets Izuku ride out his high as the green-haired Pro Hero shoots ropes of hot cum down his friend’s throat.
“Kacchan. Oh, God!” Is all Izuku can say as he thrusts into Katsuki’s mouth. His cock slowly looses its vigor and becomes too sensitive. He yelps as Katsuki pulls his mouth off the length with a sharp smack of his lips.
Katsuki smiles smugly as he lowers Izuku back to the ground and wipes off his mouth with the back of his hand. His friend’s legs are wobbly, and with difficulty Izuku pulls on his boxers. Clothed again, he sinks down to sit with his back against the locked door.
“So?” Katsuki smiles as he reaches down to adjust his cock in his tuxedo pants. He’s so painfully hard, but he still takes the time to gloat. “Best you’ve ever had, right?”
“Y-yeah.” Izuku lets out a shaky laugh. “You were right – definitely blew my mind.”
After a moment of catching his breath, the Pro Hero notices his friend’s discomfort. “Kacchan – come over here.”
Katsuki hadn’t realized that he had been keeping his distance from Izuku just to admire him coming down from his high. Awkwardly, he shuffles to sit next to his agency partner. Izuku’s eyes are heavy and his face is covered in a sexy sheen of sweat. He quickly glances at his watch. “We’ve still got 10 minutes, Kacchan – lose the pants.”
Katsuki doesn’t need telling twice. He lets out a tense breath before hastily undoing his own belt and trouser buttons. Within seconds, he’s sitting in his bright underwear, cursing himself for wearing such an obnoxiously vibrant orange under his dress clothes for the event. But really - how could he have anticipated that he was going to get laid tonight!?
Izuku lazily runs his hand along Katsuki’s clothed length, and once again the explosion hero needs to re-focus his mind to avoid cumming then and there. Izuku’s eyes are large and unfocused; he’s still absolutely undone from his orgasm. He takes his sweet time teasing Katsuki – running his finger lightly along the delicate skin under the boxers’ elastic. Katsuki’s cock twitches beneath the thin fabric of the boxers – begging to be touched.
Without warning, Izuku’s hand makes it’s way beneath Katsuki’s boxers and frees his hard, tense member. Katsuki gasps at the sudden contact, almost disbelieving that Izuku intends to make him cum. Izuku takes a moment to admire his friends’ cock. “You know…I never imagined it would be this big.”
“Shut up, nerd.” Katsuki snaps as Izuku starts to jerk him off at a painfully slow pace. He’s glowing at the compliment despite himself. Before long, Izuki is pumping Katsuki’s thick cock in a way that’s making the explosion Hero see stars.
“Dek-Izuku.” Katsuki breathes, encouraging Izuku to go faster. The green haired hero quirks his mouth into a lazy smile as he obliges, he’s clearly still fuzzy from his own orgasm. Katsuki pants as his heart does zigzags in his chest. He leans back and closes his eyes, focusing on the sensation of his best friend jerking him off.
“You know, Kacchan…” Izuku says mischievously. “I never guessed you would be so into-” With his free hand, Midoriya grabs a fist full of Katsuki’s hair and pulls his head back. “-this.”
Katsuki moans deliciously at the sudden contact, all his toughness and bravado have melted away. He wants more – he wants Midoriya to keep pulling his hair and talking dirty to him. He wants to feel every little sensation his friend is willing to give. As Izuku continues to tease and pull and indulge his friend, Katsuki feels his body tensing up with pleasure. He’s about to tip over the edge of overstimulation when…Izuku’s mouth wraps around him. The noise that comes out of Katsuki’s mouth is a mix between a cry of surprise and a growl.
Izuku pushes his lips slowly down Katsuki’s shaft as he continues to move his hand up and down at the base. Inch by inch, Izuku rolls his mouth down until the entirety of Katsuki’s cock is throbbing against his tongue. He stays there for a moment, letting his partner get used to the sensation of being fully sheathed.
The only sound that can be heard in the dimly lit room are Katsuki’s rasping breaths and the gentle hum of conversation that drifts toward them from the filled ballroom.
After a few tense moments, Katsuki’s hips buck lightly and the tip of his cock hits the back of Izuku’s throat. Izuku breathes through his nose, adjusting to the motion with practiced ease. Katsuki’s heart ricochets even more in his chest – has Deku been a secret master at deep throating this whole time!?
He doesn’t have time to dwell on the question – because suddenly Izuku is sucking Katsuki’s soul out of his body via his dick. The green haired man is slurping and licking and making the sloppiest, sexiest sounds Katsuki has ever heard come from a human body.
“Ah…s-slow down…I’m gonna -” Katsuki groans out in a low voice. He’s never felt anything like this in his life, and he needs to remind himself to keep breathing. Izuku re-threads his hand in Katsuki’s hair again and pulls hard. All of the stimulation has the explosion Pro crying out in both pain and pleasure and without warning his body releases all of it’s pent up energy and he cums – hard and fast.
“Izuku!” He grunts loudly, not caring whom from the gala might hear. When Katsuki cums, Izuku slides his mouth all the way to the top of his cock and licks the impossibly aroused tip. Katsuki watches in bliss as his ejaculate pours down Izuku’s tongue and drips down his chin. Izuku uses his hand to pump the hard dick to completion, before bending back down to lick his friend’s cock clean. Katsuki moans softly at the contact – his cock is twitching and impossibly over stimulated. Nevertheless, Izuku’s mouth feels impossibly good as it moves up and down Katsuki’s sticky shaft.
Bakugo drops his head back against the wall again, catching his breath. Through heavy eyelids he watches Izuku reach for his abandoned tuxedo pants and draw a green handkerchief from the pocket. He wipes his sticky mouth smugly, knowing that Katsuki is still watching him like a hawk.
“Have you done that before?” Katsuki says, a note of jealousy lacing his harsh tone.
Izuku smiles at him, revealing nothing.
“You cheeky bastard.” Katsuki admonishes, but he still puts an arm around Izuku and pulls their bodies together gently. Izuku drops his pants back to the floor and leans in to give his best friend a long, sloppy kiss. They are both sex-drunk and blissed out and impossibly content as they lean against each other – Izuku in his underwear and Katsuki naked from the waist down.
Katsuki thinks to himself that the image must be comical – two top Pro Heros absolutely wrecked and hiding a few doors down from the biggest party of the year, covered in sweat and cum. A laugh bubbles out of him at the thought. Izuku smiles up at him with those big green doe eyes and starts laughing too. Katsuki can’t decide what’s more hilarious – the position they’re in, or the fact that it took them so many years to do this.
After a moment of laughter, Izuku checks his infamous watch.
“We really should get back, Kacchan.” He reaches for his trousers and awkwardly wiggles back into them, his shaking hands struggling to get the buttons done. Katsuki likewise reaches for his undies and stands to pull them back on. He sighs a simple “yeah.”
He stretches out a hand to pull his friend to his feet before reaching down to re-button Izuku’s pants for him. “Thanks.” Izuku laughs as he tries to pat fresh wrinkles out of his suit.
Katsuki’s legs feel like jelly as he struggles to pull his own pants back on. His heart is still doing a fizzy macarena dance in his muscular chest. He does a few jumps in place, trying to shake all of the buzzing energy out of his body. It’s time to get back to work.
He reaches for the lock on the door, and is surprised when Izuku’s hand reaches out to rest on his own. He looks back at his agency partner with questioning eyes. Katsuki narrows his eyebrows as he says, “Weren’t you the one that said we needed to get back for all of the dumb speeches?”
Izuku ignores the question. “So what do we do now?” He says softly, almost fearfully.
Katsuki removes his hand from the door and turns it so that Izuku’s palm is resting in his own. He interlocks their fingers.
“I figured that was obvious. Or are you too stupid to figure it out?” He ejects – maybe a bit too harshly. Izuku blinks. Dammit, this nerd will be the death of him!
Katsuki continues: “You’re going to walk out there and break off your date with that support chick.” Katsuki pulls Izuku to his chest and leans down to kiss his soft lips. “We’re going to sit through this stupid dinner party. And then we’re taking a cab back to my place to finish what we’ve started.” He kisses the other Pro harder this time, letting their lips melt together. He raises a hand to cup Izuku’s cheek in a gesture that is too intimate for a run-of-the-mill hookup. Izuku understands.
“So we’ll talk about this later. We’ll finally figure out what we are to each other?” Izuku says softly as he breaks the kiss.
“I think we already know what we are, you damn nerd. But if you need me to spell it out for you-” He takes yet another steadying breath. “– we’re together. We’re a thing. Just don’t get all weird about it like you do.” But it’s too late, because Izuku has already shifted into his characteristic babble mode.
“Oh my God! Of course we’re together. I mean, I’ve liked you since school! I always thought that you were just annoyed with me until we became close at the end of our first year. And then all those times we kissed and the other times I caught you looking at me in the Agency locker room – and that time you took Ochako on a date for some reason but we all knew you didn’t give a crap about her romantically. I had a feeling you liked me. But this – this is - ” Izuku is muttering nonstop and Katsuki cuts him off with a smooth, hard kiss.
“Izuku. There’ll be time to talk about all this shit later.” He reaches over to tap his partner’s watch. “We’re running late now, dammit. Come on – let’s get out of here.”
And they do. They go on to the gala in the ballroom where they spend the entirety of the night exchanging conspiratorial glances and soft smiles. And when awards are announced and they win Agency of the Year, the pair practically glows as they straighten their ties and walk up to the stage together.
“This award means the world to us.” Izuku chirps brightly into the microphone, accepting a gold trophy from last year’s Agency of the Year recipient. “To be recognized at such a young age by such a prestigious panel of Pros. Sorry if I get a little emotional – this is a dream come true. Thank you to all of our fans and friends for believing in us and helping us to shape our agency into a true force for good. And to my partner, Katsuki Bakugo, thank you for believing in me and for challenging me to be my best everyday and in every situation.” Katsuki blushes as he picks up on the subtext. Izuku pays him no mind as he finishes off his speech. “There’s no one else I’d rather share this moment with.”
It’s Bakugo’s turn now, and he almost rolls his eyes when he sees how watery Izuku is looking – he’s clutching the trophy as if it’s made of solid gold.
Katsuki leans into the microphone and says “I told you all at the UA Sports Festival my first year – I’m going to be the best. And I did it.” He mean mugs for the camera, an echo of his old self – the angry, hostile teen he once was. After a moment, he lets the look melt off of his face. He’s come so far in the past decade – he’s become a better friend, a better man, and hopefully…hopefully he’s become the kind of person who can be a good romantic partner. But for that role – he’ll need to wait and see.
“In all honesty, this means so much. Thank you to my parents, and to all of our friends from UA for supporting us along the way and for picking me up when I stumbled. Thanks to my mentors Best Jeanist and All Might who saw potential in me even when I was just an angry kid who liked to talk a big game. Thank you to all of the staff at our Agency who make coming to work everyday rewarding. And lastly – I want to thank Deku, who has been with me from the very beginning and helped me to grow into the Pro I am today.” He turns and smiles at Izuku, who beams back at him, teary eyed. “Alright, that’s all the sappiness the press is gonna get out of me today. Move along to the next award.” They exit the stage as Present Mic – the perpetual MC in the Pro Hero world – retakes the podium to announce the winner for “Sidekick of the Year.”
Katsuki and Izuku walk back to the table their sponsored Agency table. They return to handshakes and celebratory pats on the back from their staff. Everyone is cheering and grinning – the award celebrates everyone at the agency’s hard work and dedication. Katsuki feels his heart swell with warmth at the way everyone is beaming and celebrating. He shakes hands and claps the backs of the co-workers around him, basking in everyone’s joy. Out of the corner of his eye, he sees the pretty Hero Support independent contractor (who had boldly asked Izuku to drinks) bat her eyelashes at the green-haired Pro. She congratulates Izuku in a bubbly tone as she pulls him into a tight hug that squishes her ample chest against his muscular pecks. Katsuki rolls his eyes as they break apart, noting the light blush on his partner’s face. They all retake their seats as the ceremony continues.
“Don’t get too comfy, extra.” He calls across the table to the independent contractor woman. “Deku and I have a Pro Press tour directly after dinner. So don’t even bother flirting with him.”
The woman, taken aback at Katsuki calling her out, blushes a deep red and excuses herself – making a beeline for the ladies room.
“Kacchan!” Izuku admonishes, looking after the woman with concern. Despite the sharp scolding, Katsuki can tell Izuku is quite pleased at the jealousy the situation has brought out in Katsuki. “That wasn’t nice! Apologize to her when she comes back.”
“Fine!” Katsuki sighs, moving his hand discreetly under the table to rest on the smooth fabric of Izuku’s thigh. The One-For-All wielder almost yelps in surprise, but catches himself. Katsuki lowers his voice, so that only the two of them can hear “I just don’t want her getting her hopes up, when we both know whose bed you’re going to be in tonight.” He continues to move his hand further and further up Izuku’s thigh, lightly squeezing along the way.
“You’re a menace to society, Kacchan.” Izuku sputters out, batting Katsuki’s hand away from his leg and interweaving their fingers instead.
“I know.” Katsuki smiles wickedly and squeezes his lover’s hand beneath the table. “And you love it.”
“I do.” Izuku sighs, rolling his eyes. “For some reason, I really do.”
Big surprise – Izuku ditches the sake date with the hero support woman so he can spend the night at Katsuki’s. They keep each other up well into the night. 💚💥

Losing to Rita Moreno would be a heroic death but I need to submit propaganda for my darling Marlene: she played a huge part in securing my identity as bisexual lol.
A photo of her in a tux - might have been the very one you're using in the polls! - was on the cover of my history book in high school. I hadn't paid much attention to the cover while buying it, but when it was time for the first class and I lifted the book onto my desk... it was love at first sight. Time stopped. Everything went silent. The classroom and everyone in it ceased to exist; it was only me and the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my life, staring soulfully into each other's eyes for what might have been 15 seconds or 15 minutes.
After coming out of the trance for long enough to realize I needed to know my soulmate's name, I started flipping through the pages of the book with monk-like concentration trying to find the photo so its caption could answer the most pressing question in the universe. And I did find it!! The was an info box about the idol culture in old Hollywood, photos of stars circling its edges. Their names were listed at the end, clockwise, so again I focused all my attention on making sure I was getting the right name for the right face. Thank any deities that may or may not exist that this was just barely recently enough that smartphones were a thing so I could start immediately googling for more photos under my desk.
I really hope the teacher didn't say anything important that day because I sure didn't hear a word.

Dimitrescu Sisters comforting dysphoric trans masculine s/o and reacting to him coming out!
My first dimi sister work inspired by @muffinsin :3 I’m a transgender man so this is mostly self indulgent lmfao, I hope you enjoy!! I’ll do a smut version if anyone’s interested!!! (@muffinsin has the best stories ever!!!)
Bela
“Love, baby, what’s wrong?” Bela wipes the tears from my face as I wept, feeling so wrong in my own body, “little one, come here.”
I lay on the bed and curl into her arms sobbing, my dysphoria had already been kicking my ass today but with the dance coming up it was getting worse. The crimson dress Bela had chosen made her look effervescent, even more than usual. I haven’t seen the dress she chose for me yet, but the pit in my stomach told me it was similar to hers. Her dress, one suitable for a princess, and mine? I sobbed at the mere thought of being stuck in one for the night.
“B-bels I can’t-“ I took a shaky breath, trying to calm myself, “I can’t do this anymore.”
“What?” She looked down at me with a pained expression, “what are you saying love? Are you brea-”
“No! I can’t do this anymore, I can’t keep pretending to be someone I’m not. ” I grab the material of the skirt I’m wearing and feel more hot tears stream down my cheeks, “Bels I’m not a girl, I’m sick of trying to be one and I-”
“Love, I know, I’ve known since we met. You have the body of a woman but, your blood, it’s not female. You’re a man my love, a real man. No matter what anyone says.” She grabs my face before I can speak and gently kisses me, “I love you nonetheless, if you’re worried about the dance, stop. I chose your outfit for you remember? Do you want to see your outfit for the dance baby?”
I nod, shocked by her love and acceptance. We stand and approach her closet, I turn to her as she grabs the most amazing tux I’ve ever seen. It perfectly matches her dress.
“Bels, darling,” I feel more tears well up in my eyes, “I fucking love you.”
“I love you too my pretty boy.”
Cassandra
“Hey pet- oh shit you’re crying,” Cassandra swarmed over and plonked on the bed in front of me, “who do I need to kill? What’s wrong doll?”
“Cass-” a sob cuts me off and I curl into her lap, the fabric of my bra digs into my back again and I claw at it to take it off.
“What are you doing? Why are you crying?! Also, what the fuck is going on!?!” Cassandra is practically fuming at this point, concern etched into her face. She grabs my hands and takes a deep breath, “Doll please talk to me, I’m here.”
I look up at her and tears well in my eyes, waves of fear and sadness crash onto me as I take a deep breath. Then blurt everything out at once, “Cassieimaboy”
“What?” A smile spreads on her face and she laughs, no, cackles at me, “Fucking-”
“Cass I'm so sorry I've known for a while but I love you so much and I didn't want to ruin anything and-" She purses her lips and puts a hand over my mouth.
“As I was saying, fucking finally dumbass, no shit.” she smirks down at me, and all I can do is stare back in shock "Are you almost done crying? I have a surprise for you and- hang on what?"
"Y-you love me?" She practically whispers the words before looking into my eyes with a mixture of confusion and glee. I get up and kneel above her, straddling her hips. I take her face in my hands and gently kiss her.
"How could I not?" I stare into her eyes awaiting her response Instead, she reaches into her pocket and grabs something.
"Um. I didn't really have anything planned but, uh, well. I made you this." She hands me a small box, a promise ring with the words I love you doll lies inside. "I'm not good with words but, uh, yeah.... I love you too, doll"
Daniela
"Hello, my love!" I hear Dani enter my chambers and call out to me in a sing-songy voice, before throwing something onto the bed "Are you excited for our date?"
"Y-yeah, I'm excited." Im lying, god I feel so shitty! My day was bad enough since the headmaid caught me out of uniform and practically forced me back into a skirt. Right now the last thing I want is for Dani to choose something overly feminine for me for our date today. I only really agreed to let her choose because I don't have anything other than commoner clothing. She comes up behind me and wraps her arms around my waist as she kisses my neck.
"My love, something is different about our date today. I chose your outfit again, but, I couldn't decide between these two! Which one do you like more?" She spins me around and grabs two outfits off of the bed, and I gasp. The first is a brown tux with a vest and the other is similar, except it is black with green specks of something shiny. The dress she's wearing is form fitting and gods she looks amazing in it "I figured since you are a man, you wouldn't want to wear a dress or anything, so I chose these! I like the brown on because it-"
"The black one. Please." I step towards her and press a kiss to her lips, "and thank you love, for everything. You look stunning by the way!!"
"Thank you my handsome pet." she giggles and hands me the tux before swarming away.

Jealous Kate x Wife
Tumblr media
Day Two of Writemas/Birthday posts! If you want to see the scheduled posts go here If you want to see more posts like this go here Tw: Jealousy, slight possessive behavior, hint at 18+ topics. If I've missed any let me know!
♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡
Kate noticed you back then for your kindness and how willing you were to go the extra mile to see her smile; she noticed it right away.
Now? It didn't change. You left her little notes in her pockets, lunches, always texted her little updates when she was away or busy. The same little heart and your initials that held her last name in them.
People often watched you. Her coworkers who had met you or seen you both out in stores always said they wanted someone that looked at them the way you looked at Kate. You worshipped her and the ground she walked on. At first, it made her embarrassed, the way you always watched her in a room full of other women she thought were easily way more beautiful to her, but they weren't. Not to you. Over the years, she got used to the constant compliments and the comments of you confessing your love to her.
She never expected it, like she was blindsided. A small fancy event that she had invited you to, someone was all over you. You were beautiful, the dress you wore hugged you perfectly, your curves were on full display, and why wouldn't someone flirt with you?
Kate felt a heat in her chest, her face contorted into a small frustrated glare at the woman who she had met only a handful of times. She watched you smile, laugh, even touch her arm when you did. You were always head over heels for her, why would she be worried about some random person that wasn't your type?
"What could they even be talking about that's so damn funny?" Kate hissed out as she brought the glass of champagne to her lips, only letting it wet her lips before she pulled it away.
"Jesus, Kate, they are just talking." Price said, hiding the blatant amusement on his face. He knew she was jealous, overly so, and he was enjoying every second of it. He struggled to wipe the grin off of his face as he looked between you and Kate.
"Just talking my ass, hold this." Kate muttered as she handed her glass to Price. She had heard endless rumors of her flirting with married women and men, rumors of her being a home wrecker. Her talking to you made her mind race with angry thoughts.
She brushed off the tux that she wore as she walked over; you had always said how beautiful she looked in one, and she liked how comfortable she felt in it. She went as far as to unbutton her jacket that was holding it closed, so the inside that matched your dress was proudly showing.
You were facing the other way as you spoke; she could hear your laugh as she wrapped her arms around you and rested her chin on your shoulder. She was quiet as she spoke with her eyes on the woman she wanted you to have nothing to do with. Ever.
"Oh- Love. We were just talking about you." You said happily as you smiled at her on your shoulder, your body reacting to her touch in an unfair way.
Kate hummed to acknowledge what you said as she brushed your hair out of the way and onto your other shoulder. Her eyes never left the woman who she felt was still too close to you.
"We were talking about uh- when you came to a meeting all disheveled because you couldn't find your favorite pen." The woman said nervously. She felt as Kate could see through her, like she wasn't even truly there. Like she was exactly what she was to Kate, nothing.
"I actually was disheveled because I was having an intimate moment with my wife in my office, I don't have a favorite pen." Kate said with a sly smile on her face as she covered your mouth to prevent you from denying and saying anything after you let out a small shocked gasp.
"Speaking of which, I need my wife back; enjoy the rest of the event." Kate said before she rested her hand on the small of your back and gently held your hand in hers as she led you away.
You gasped and shook your head playfully at Kate, "Jealous Kate isn't something I know I needed." You mumbled quietly before Kate offered a smile.
"Yea well- why don't you see Jealous bedroom Kate, might need her more." Kate said before she kissed your temple and led you to leave the dry and boring event, her eyes scanning the room as she saw Price lift his glass up to her with a knowing smile and a small laugh as his shoulders shook.

Could we get some Ethan hunt x old teammates m!Reader, where they have a kinda love/hate relationship yk? Were teammates because maybe the reader did something Ethan and the whole corporation didn't see fit so they went into hiding. But now (speaking of the latest movie) Ethan needs help and since he knows that he can trust the reader he tries to find him. Obviously they meet at some point maybe venice? but only because the reader caught wind of whats going on and also only helping Ethan because he has a grudge against Gabriel. I would like the reader to be more focused on stealth, like the best, no one can detect him, and maybe that also reflects in his fighting style.
Idk i hope you understand, not really good at describing what's going on in my brain
A/n: I totally understand and thanks for answering my call for M:I requests! I hope I did this one justice- also writing fights is hard as shit
Someone He Could Trust
Ethan Hunt x male!reader
Tumblr media
( summary: After an old friend reaches out to you for help, you decide to go to a party in Venice )
Warnings?: spoilers for Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning!! , mentions of guns, violence, fighting, knives, killing, light swearing, mentions of alcohol
!-!more under the cut!-! After all these years, the last thing you expected was a message from him. Ethan Hunt. An old...co-worker...of yours from before 96'. You both used to work together back then, not ever fully trusting one another, though you admit that that's mostly your fault. There were a few times where you may have left him in the dark but only when you knew he could get out of it easily. The last time you had though didn't go so well, a lot of people died and it ended with him being caught. You'd thought he was dead or in jail but time told a different story as you found out he was recruited by the IMF, a government organization that uses the skills of people like you and him to do dirty work behind the scenes.
"I need your help, I need someone I can trust." The message he left you included a file with a picture of a certain key. You'd heard of these things recently, everyone was racing to be the first to get both parts of the key. What exactly it unlocked you're unsure of and judging by the extent of Ethan's research he doesn't either. Though the key wasn't the only thing that caught your attention, a single name had as well. Gabriel. If you remember correctly he should be dead, if he's wrapped up in all of this then it can't be good. Either way, the last thing that lay within the file is a single invitation to a club in Venice Italy. Smirking, you stood, a party doesn't sound like a bad idea.
After a quick flight, you landed in Venice around 11pm, heading to one of the many canals in Italy you entered a boat that rowed you down to a hole in the wall building, the neon lights and loud music shaking the walls around you as you stepped out the boat, letting yourself get frisked before going inside. Entering the party, you straightened your tux as you scanned your surroundings, people danced on display like art as guests around them talked and drank. It was casual and not at the same time. Moving around the crowd of people you walked closer to the bar only to stop as you recognized a certain bearded man. Gabriel. He was older now, obviously, and he stood close to a woman you didn't recognize. You went just close enough to hear them, turning to not draw attention to yourself as you listened in on their conversation. "I don't have it on me," the woman spoke, ah so she was wrapped up in all of this. "I wouldn't expect you to," Gabriel spoke after her, "In any case, I'm not here for the key." 'He's not? Well, that's a contradiction,' you thought to yourself as you watched him turn his back to the bar, you moved to not be in his direct line of sight. "What do you want?" the woman asked though Gabriel seemed to dodge the question. "Suppose while we're waiting I tell you a little story," "You're obviously not the person I came here to meet." The woman said before deciding to walk away but stopped as Gabriel spoke again. "it's your story, Grace," So Grace was her name, "I know how it ends, let me buy you a drink and perhaps we can change it." Though you felt the urge to help this woman she's not who you came here for. Speaking of who you came for, looking near the entrance you saw him with a woman you'd seen before, though only briefly. British intelligence? You're pretty sure, or at least she used to be. Too bad you can't exactly remember her name. You moved again as they fully entered the party before getting stopped by someone who they then followed. Directing your attention back onto Gabriel and the woman you heard Gabriel telling her more about Ethan, though the way he was putting it made Ethan seem like this master manipulator to every woman he ever came across. You clenched your jaw as his story continued, he made it seem like it was Ethan's fault for the death of Marie when it was really he who'd killed her. "Grace," You were shocked to see Ethan just casually walk up to them both, he glanced over, noticing you and you winked before you quickly moved, preferring to offer him backup in the shadows if and when he needed it. You watched as they all talked before the white widow, or Alana as you know her, came over and decided to bring them all upstairs to talk. You'd crossed paths with her before but even then you doubt you'd be able to randomly convince her to let you follow them all the way upstairs. Still, you tailed them until you couldn't, deciding to linger until a fight broke out.
"Let's fan out, Hunt's here somewhere," You perked up at those words as you turned to notice two men, they nodded at each other before attempting to blend in. But to you, they stood out like a sore thumb. You were conflicted about staying near Hunt but knew he could at least handle himself against people he knew were threats. To you, these two were unknown threats that he'd unknowingly have to counter eventually. Taking them out now would be ideal you thought and so you followed them. If they moved far enough from Hunt then they wouldn't be a problem at all and you could return to him.
-
Tailing them didn't last too long, the venue was rather large and it didn't take them long to get far from Ethan. You walked back inconspicuously before stopping as you noticed a few guards run past you towards Ethans location. They ran up the stairs and you watched as Ethan jumped from the railing, spooking the patrons as he ran through the crowd. Following after him as quickly as you could without drawing as much attention to yourself you found him saving that girl from earlier, Grace, from two men. Fighting them off as best he could as she ran. He called out to her but she didn't come back to help, scoffing you pulled out two sai's from your person. Wasting no time you jumped on the back of one guy, putting a quick end to his life before you turned, narrowly missing Ethan's head as you plunged one of your sai's into the eye of the second guard. Ethan stood, watching as you removed your weapon, flicking the blood off. "Long time no see huh?" You said, watching the slightly out of breath Ethan tilt his head briefly as he nodded. "Yeah well," he shrugged before looking past you, seeing Grace's retreating form he moved to follow her only to stop and do a double take near the grounds. You peeked, noticing the two guys from earlier, they noticed Ethan before running to stop him, was everyone really after this guy? "I'll deal with them, you go after her," You said and he nodded. "There's a safe-house, third floor, south of Minich Bridge, my teams waiting there!" He yelled to you as he began running and you nodded, preparing yourself for the company of the two men.
Hiding beside the entrance to the corridor you were just in you waited for them to run in. The older white guy ran in first followed by his younger partner, who you went for first, hitting him hard with the back of your sai. He fell quick and quiet, though not quiet enough as the older guy seemed to notice immediately. He turned quickly, pointing his gun at you and firing off a few shots though you threw down a smoke bomb of sorts, blinding the man. You waited, moving slowly behind his person to strike again though he had anticipated your attack, blocking you last second though not before you were able to knock the gun out of his hand. He was strong and well-trained but you've taken down men bigger than him. He threw a few punches that you'd dodged before countering, causing him to stagger as the smoke started to dissipate. Kicking him, he flew off to the side, hitting the railing of the balcony. Grabbing your sai's again you were ready to finish the job, pulling your arm back to ready yourself for your attack you were suddenly pushed from behind. You hit the railing, your Sai's falling out your hand. "Shit," you were quick to turn, kicking the younger guy down, how he got back up that fast you were unsure.
Moving quickly you fought the younger guy off, not forgetting about your older opponent who had recovered from his initial fall. You threw a punch at the younger guy who'd blocked it but you'd countered quicker than he thought. Punching him in his throat he fell to the floor struggling to breathe, giving you enough time to turn and kick the older guy in his knee, knocking him down as you used your leg and wrapped it around his throat, effectively knocking you both to the ground as you choked him out with the strength of your thighs. He punched your side but you held out long enough for him to stop struggling. As soon as he was unconscious you moved to knock out the young guy again who had weakly put his fists up to fight back. Smirking you hummed, "What a shame, you're kinda cute." He charged at you and you sidestepped him. He turned quickly just in time to get kicked in the chest making him fall on his back. Some might say you should never kick someone when they're already down but you say that's the perfect time to strike. Delivering one final kick to his head, you knocked the consciousness out of his body.
Sighing you looked at the two unconscious bodies before stretching, "Finally." You moved to grab the guns that had since been forgotten in the hand-to-hand combat that just ensued before leaving the way Ethan did. You doubt you'd catch up to him now so it was better to just try and find that safe-house he'd told you about.
-
Finding the bridge Ethan told you about wasn't hard though you were more than shocked to find Ethan there, above a woman who was now dead. Grace stood behind him, unsure of what to do. "Ethan?" you walked up the bridge, but his eyes never left the woman. "She's.." he muttered, not finishing his sentence. Looking at the woman you recognized her from earlier she was that former British Intelligence agent whose name you didn't even remember. Now though it's clear that she meant a lot to Ethan. Kneeling down to his level you hesitantly placed a hand on his back. "I'm sorry Ethan," Hearing a boat come down the canal you were quick to remove your suit jacket, delicately placing it over her as the boat neared.
Ethan stood, still looking down at the body before ripping his eyes away from the scene. You placed your hand on his back again, shocked when he leaned into your touch. "I'm sorry," Grace spoke up but Ethan quickly shut her down. "No, it's not your fault. It's Gabriel's." He stated matter-of-factly, anger dripping from his tone. The boat finally neared and stopped making both you and Ethan look up. "Benji," Ethan said, referring to the man driving the boat. "He's on our side?" You asked and Ethan nodded. The man now known as Benji seemed relieved that Ethan was ok but confused at your presence. "I'll explain who he is later, right now...let's just get back to the safe-house...I need to think," Ethan spoke to Benji who nodded before he urged Grace onto the boat. Hopping over the railing yourself you landed with a huff onto the speedboat, sitting in the tight space before Ethan sat next to you. He held a somber expression on his face as Benji turned the boat around. Bumping him with your shoulder, you offered him a smile, "We'll make him pay for this Ethan. I promise." You whispered and Ethan looked at you. You both gave each other a determined nod at the mutual agreement and he offered you a brief smile, but it quickly fell again One way or another you were going to find Gabriel and kill him.

Once Upon A Time I Used To Know A Girl
Chapter 16
Tumblr media
Carol Danvers x Reader
Masterlist | This work's masterlist | AO3
Summary: Upon Fury's request, Carol comes to you with a proposal you can't morally refuse.
Angst, Slow Burn, Amnesia.
Word count: 981
A/N: I really like this chapter and I hope you do too!
Tailored By The Stars
You're in your room minding your business when someone knocks on your door. Your tactical brain starts going through all the possibilities, it can't be Kamala, because she would just walk in, it's not Valkyrie, because she wouldn't wait for an answer after she knocks, Fury doesn't seem to bother with the stairs, you conveniently run out of options and decide to ignore it, but the knocks persist, so you get up to answer them.
You find Carol standing firmly, holding out a card for you, "What's this?" you question.
"An invitation to the next Stark gala." Her expression is flat.
You refuse to take it, "No, thanks."
"We have to go."
"We? Why's that?"
"We already RSVP'd, before the whole-" she doesn't finish her sentence.
"I'll just go on my own."
"Everyone over 18 has to bring a date." She came prepared for your lack of cooperation.
"I'll take Val, then."
"She will out shine you no matter what you decide to wear." You hate to admit it, but she's right so you pull out your ace of spades.
"And why exactly would I go with you?"
"Because I already found the perfect dress to match your favorite suit," she states, matter of factly, "I'll pick you up at 8." And just like that, you run out of options, again.
It's the night of the gala and you're already late getting dressed. You put on your favorite tux, freshly pressed, and manage to get your bow tie right on the fifth try. As much as you're dreading tonight, you do enjoy dressing up.
Right as you finish tying your shoes you hear a knock, this time you know who it is. You open the door to see Carol wearing a long, slender green gown with black accents that hugs her figure flawlessly, she wears her hair down, beautifully styled, and her nails are manicured to perfection.
You stare at her in awe with your mouth open, she says something, but you can't even process it, "Huh?" you ask her to repeat herself.
"I said, are you ready to go?" You simply nod in response. She's fully aware of the effect she has on you, especially since she did it on purpose.
Tonight is gonna be interesting.
You make it to the party with Carol by your side, you see Tony and go greet him against your will. The place looks impeccable, like all the amount of money and effort that went into it could have definitely been put to better use, but you're not about to say that to Mr. Stark and ruin Carol's reputation.
For the next hour you get caught up next to Carol talking to random people, some that you remember and some you can't tell if you've actually met before. It's a lot of fake smiles and playing pretend, but you do it for the woman you got by your side. After one too many conversations, The Captain decides to take a break and go get a snack.
"I can't believe you're making me suck up to the Avengers," you joke.
"What's all that about? You didn't hate them so much when I knew you." Her tone is lighthearted, unaware of the heaviness of her statement.
'Knew,' past tense. It feels a little insulting coming from the person who can read your every move before even you do, the one who can quote back your strongest opinions about menial things, the person who seems to know, with precision, what it is that makes you tick and how to use it against you, "I have to go," you mumble as you make a quick exit.
You leave to the backyard, away from the noise and the people. You find yourself looking up at the stars, they give you a sense of peace and calmness, one that could maybe help you understand how you managed to live in a spaceship for so long.
Spending some time alone allows you to remember the reason why you didn't want to be here in the first place. These events are all about fabricated glamor, about looking good to the outside world when really you're all depressed and traumatized inside.
It starts to get chilly so you go back to the party and stand in a corner hoping no one approaches you. You strongly consider getting a drink, but then think Kamala would be disappointed if she knew you had alcohol with your meds so you settle for a mock-tail.
You spot the girl in the distance, gushing over some hero or another and, after a while, you see Valkyrie arriving fashionably late with Thor by her side, both of them looking marvelous in a way that would have definitely made you look bad if you had walked in with them. Needless to say, you're now having a terrible time, but you don't actually want anyone to make it better, you just want to leave.
You walk to the entrance as you're finishing your fourth fruity drink when you hear Stark yelling over the crowd, "Who's in charge of Danvers?" Your ears perk up and you curse in your head.
You turn back and scan the room to find the culprit, leaning against Valkyrie, clearly way over her limit. You make your way towards them, "I believe you have something of mine," you say to Val in a slightly annoyed tone, not paying attention to Carol.
The King looks at you amused, "Is she now?" she takes a big gulp of the bottle she's holding.
You're not in the mood for this, "Shut up, hand her over, and enjoy the rest of your night." You grab the Captain's arm and pull her towards you, she seems completely disoriented.
"Play nice," Val warns you, with a teasing smirk.
"I’m always nice." You shoot her a fake smile and go on your way.

Keigo Takami- Clean
Red carpet events were a stupid prelude to even dumber interviews. Pictures and reporters that didn't actually care about anything but a story and some clout.
"Hawks! Hawks, over here!" Cameramen yelled, and we'd turn like we were puppets and smile. Every third step was a turn, a pose, a smile. I'd grown bored the second we walked through the main door. I hated it. My eyes burned from the flashing lights and I couldn't even hear myself think over the many yelling people. Keigo tucked my loose bangs back behind my ear, his smile was almost as blinding as the cameras. That picture would be in an article in a few short hours.
"You look beautiful, I can't wait to see all the press you're gonna get!" Keigo smirked, his smile falling when a certain idiotic song began to play.
They played songs to let the heroes know who they were about to call up for an interview. Keigo's song was drug related, it was the same every time. It brought down his mood exponentially and worsened my already bad temper. It was like he wanted to hide in his red velvet tux coat, and it was impossible to miss the way his feathers puffed up. I felt my temper go up another notch, anger hurting my chest a little.
"Y/n, a few questions, please?" A slim woman asked from across the deep velvet ropes.
I wandered to the edge of the carpet, pulling at the bottom of my dress so I wouldn't trip. Keigo wanted to match as much as we could so he got me into a red lacey dress that had faux feathers over the sweetheart neckline.
The woman looked rather serious, "Miss Y/n, can you tell us what you're wearing tonight?"
A drag of a question, but it was better than the usual about my relationship with a pro hero, "She's called Crimson Rider by an unknown seamstress out in the countryside. Plunging sweetheart neckline with lace sleeves, and guess how much! Only one hundred thirty dollars, can you believe that! And look at how long the bottom is, I've nearly tripped over it twice today."
Anyone could've swam in the sickly sweet voice I put on, it left a sour taste in my mouth from how thick it was. The woman didn't seem to mind at all, just smiled as I answered her questions. Hawks' fans would have a fit over the price being even that high. It wasn't my problem, Keigo bought what he knew I'd wear, and he kept it cheap. Well, cheaper that he normally did, to my relief.
"You're engaged to the number two hero, wouldn't you like something a bit more… extravagant?" The woman asked, her forehead wrinkled in mock confusion. A tell-tale sign that she wasn't interested in the slightest.
I shook my head, "I don't need high end clothes to be happy. As long as Hawks comes home to me alive, I'll be okay. And he bought this as a gift, I buy all my clothes because he gets the expensive things."
The man had a horrible habit of trying to spoil me. Not that I hated it, but he could be cheaper about it.
Keigo still hadn't smoothed himself out by the time I returned to him, so I stood behind him and unruffled his wings. He sighed, "Why do they always have to play this song? Couldn't they pick something else for once?"
A smile replaced his upset face as he noticed what I was holding, "Hummingbird, you didn't! Are you trying to cause a scene?"
Nodding, I kissed him. Cameras went crazy and the flashes would've blinded me if my eyes had been open. My left arm was outstretched, Keigo's three year sober coin held so everyone would see the gold metal with black lettering. I used my quirk to stick it to his jacket before we entered for the interview, it wouldn't be missed in any tabloids or photos.
Keigo sat more confidently while he spoke, angled almost purposefully to show the coin. I answered the questions that were aimed at me and kept my cool.
Our interviewer had been decent and had skipped plenty of question cards, I was starting to enjoy the moment, "How is it being engaged to such a fiery woman?"
"She's the best!" Keigo smiled, draping a soft wing over my shoulders, "My hummingbird keeps me grounded, sane and ready for life. She got me into rehab, helped me turn my life around. I'm the luckiest man ever to have her."
When I'd met the birdbrain he was strung out on every drug he could get his hands on. It was public information, articles even had photos of him doing them at parties. Keigo hated that it was public, he knew he could never escape it no matter how far he ran.
Keigo had been angry when I'd filled our living room with representatives from rehabs, in his emotional rampage he'd accidently slapped the side of my head and my left ear now constantly had a ringing in it. I didn't blame him, as he hadn't meant to, but he definitely still blamed himself.
That was four years and one slip up ago.
"And you, Miss L/n, how is life as a heroes fiance?" The man asked, a fake smile plastered on his lips. I felt my stomach dropping.
"Aside from the worry that he won't come home to me, it's great. Hawks is the sweetest man I've ever met. I never have to worry about anything." I smiled at my blond partner, "He's attentive and caring, there's never a morning I don't wake up without breakfast made or feeling loved."
The interviewer shuffled his cards, scowling at the next question, "Do you ever worry that he'll fall into his old habits? Being a womaniser and an addict?"
All the respect left my body as soon as he stopped talking, "His hero facade isn't who he really is, you might be surprised to find that we met organically through a business party."
Her tried to back track, but I'd already seen the shame and guilt on Keigo's face, "We're done here. Thank you, have a good night. Let's go, love."
Once we entered our home, Keigo unzipped the back of my dress and disappeared into the bathroom. I would've followed if I hadn't known he wanted to be left alone. Sometimes he needed the solitude and I was always there when he wanted the love right after.
It bothered him more than anything that his past was haunting him, I was the one who shut down any and all attempts of reporters to bring it up. Keigo had gotten used to me going along with him and stopping the press, he himself wasn't the type to leave those things on his own. My pushiness only grew with his discomfort, I wasn't above breaking things either. Cameras often fell victim to my aggressions.
He was still hiding when I was done getting changed, only my makeup needing to be removed. I knocked on the door, hearing a faint "Come in, Birdie."
Keigo was in the shower, peeking around the curtain, "Makeup?"
I nodded and leaned over our sink, gently scrubbing with the remover pads, "It gets itchy after a while, honestly. I'd never wear it if your secretary didn't book me each time."
His wet arms wrapped around my waist, "I'll let her know not to include you next time, that sound good?"
The room fell silent, aside from the shower going behind us. I pretended that I was still removing the persistent powder from my face so he could stay pressed against me. It felt like sometimes he was just wanting anything to anchor him back to earth, and he always found me. I never got bored of him in any capacity, even when some would call him clingy.
"I'm still sober, hummingbird, I promise. I haven't touched that shit in years, and I won't ever again. I promise you I won't, I promise…" His sad voice made my heart stop. He'd never sounded so defeated, not even when he had failed the program the last time, "That's not who I am anymore. Not who I'll ever be again."
"I know, birdbrain, that's why I defend you everyday." I shuffled around to hold him closer to me, "Finish your shower so we can go to bed. I'll set up a meeting with your sponsor tomorrow, see what he thinks we can do going forward."
Keigo kissed me, his pupils mere slits and he truly reminded me of a bird of prey, "No therapists, please. I feel like a big enough loser."
"I know, love."

let the light in - at your back door yelling 'cause i wanna come in
read it on ao3 here
You knew you would die painfully.
From the moment you gained conscience, the ill thoughts of death always trickled in the back of your mind like wild daisies in the middle of the sidewalk— It was fate, everyone knew it deep down.
Once you’re gone there’s no memory to preserve, especially once the Earth’s rotted by the Sun and tossed into galactic dust. We all know it.
That awful day when you met your husband changed your view. We’ll all go to Hell.
And we all know it.
Something sharp and spindly cuts into your neck as your vision starts to crawl out, your head spinning with nausea. You look around to see the blood moon next to a golden one, and a scarlet sky twinged with black clouds. How long have you been here, thorns resting in the crook of your neck, digging in with every toss and turn?
This is an unholy sanctuary.
He’s here.
Your first thought when you wake up sends you into an upright position, glancing to every side with a desperate fervor. To no avail, you do not hear or even see your husband anywhere around.
The screams around you from pleading sinners would’ve masked his gentle voice, anyhow. They should just take it like what they’ve deserved in this life. They fell down the wrong path, you chose this— every miserable sinner here should’ve been at your mercy.
Why are they so loud, knowing what they’ve done?
Why are you still thinking about your husband, so sure he’s still enamored with you?
Everyone has their reasons, you suppose, as you stand up and wobble on your new two feet. Looking down, you’re disgusted to see four grisly gloved claws, adorned with white silk and a few bows to match.
Not modest, but.. You’re sure in Hell there are lots of madames. They do the dirty work, but surely they don’t deserve to roam in the darkest of depths, no?
Caught up in your own needless thinking, you don’t notice a girl come hurtling down your way. You gasp breathlessly as she begins to talk. “Hi, oh my gosh, um..” She hasn’t even said anything you can grasp yet, but her mouth still somehow moves a million miles an hour. “So! I’m.. gathering residents for my spectacular redemption hotel! It’s called the Happy— Er.. Hazbin Hotel! I’m sure you’re scared, I saw you wake up just now and—!” You scoff, placing your hands on your hips and rolling your eyes. "No, thank you."
The blonde persists, tapping your shoulder as you turn to walk away. Frustration finally boils over, when will this lady be quiet? You swing your head to face hers, an unamused expression donning your face. “Didn’t ya hear me, ya chatta’ box?” You snarl, pushing her away.
You almost feel bad, especially with the way her puppy-dog eyes plead for you to join her little hotel. Too bad, so sad, though. You were here for a purpose, not to rise up to some unattainable goal like fucking going to heaven of all places. Really? You just got here and you’re already being phished by some random woman.
Not to mention the fact she’s dressed particularly modern, the tux an eyesore to your newly uncovered eyes. It reminds you of your husband— clad in his pinstriped suits. He was always such an innovator for his time, a supporter of the new age. This girl though.. No manners to be seen at all!
Your husband would have smacked her upside the head, you think! “No, I came here for a reason, and I’m not going to waste it on some charity case.” You barely hold back raising your voice; that would be improper manners for a lady, yes? Especially one who wasn’t sure about her husband’s love for her dwindling— Or having been there in the first place.
Even if he didn’t, you could still try. You hope.
Take on a new shape, a new form if he didn’t already recognize you— Try someone more delicate, prettier, fancier, more akin to his tastes..
What do you look like, minus the claws?
You could use a mirror.

All of This is Temporary
Tumblr media
Summary: What should have been Mikey and Reader's special night goes sideways, and unfortunately, it never gets fixed.
Pairing: Mikey Berzatto x F!Reader, pre-relationship
Notes: This idea of Mikey and his friend getting thrown out of some VIP event came to me in a dream (and the music cue as well). A surprise cameo from one of my other favorite characters from a different show, because he showed up in the dream too. Also on AO3.
Warnings: Spoilers for The Bear, canon-typical language, classism, unrequited (?) love, addiction themes, tragic ending (mention of Mikey's suicide)

NOVEMBER 2021
The movie that Mikey won tickets for is at Doc Films , and given the place's history, you and Mikey are almost more dressed for an opera than a movie. He's done out in an old but clean tux, bow tie and cummerbund included - and you bought yourself a silver dress with matching clutch. You may not be a couple, but you take internal satisfaction in knowing how good you two look together right now.
The main thing that's important to you is that, at least from what you can tell, Mikey is fully sober this evening. You know you're not his keeper, but you feel some pride on his behalf - whatever he's strugging with, he's made the effort for you tonight, and that warms your heart.
However, that warmth sours in your stomach when you actually get to the theater. When you and Mikey walk in, it's clear that this is a much smaller event than you thought - and that you and Mikey are WILDLY overdressed. Of the maybe twenty total people there, the only other person dressed formally is a gruff-looking man whose hair is almost as dark as Mikey's is. In his case, he's wearing a strikingly modern all-black suit.
Mikey smiles when he sees the other man and gives him a hearty handshake. "Roy fuckin' Kent! What brings ya this way?"
Roy shrugs, but he accepts Mikey's handshake just the same. "Mikey Berzatto, ya old dog - just takin' some travel time - Coach Lasso fuckin' insisted... And who's this, then?"
Mikey introduces you, explaining that Roy had visited The Beef by accident a few years back during an exhibition tour in the States. "You better come in for a couple sandwiches tomorrow for lunch, ya hear me?" he tells Roy. "Won't take no for an answer!"
"Wouldn't miss it," Roy says. You and Mikey take your seats on Roy's other side.
A woman a few seats away chimes in with: "Oh, you two look so nice - is that your tux?" You don't care for the look of her - she comes across like someone trying to draw Mikey's sister Natalie from a mirror image only.
You want to believe that she's just being nice, but something about her tone is venomous, and Mikey must feel the same way. His response is icy. " 'Course it's mine, why wouldn't it be?"
"You're Michael Berzatto, right?"
"Yeah?"
"My cousins love your shop - I guess I'm just wondering why a sandwich shop owner would need to buy a tux instead of renting one; that's all."
If you didn't know better, you'd think she was trying to call you and Mikey tacky. Apparently Roy feels the same way, because he leans over towards her and says, "Oi, Pam, knock it off, yeah? Movie's startin'."
"Pam..." you think to yourself. "Why does that name sound familiar?" The lights turn off, and you smile to yourself when you hear a familiar musical sting playing for the movie intro.
"Don't call me by my name...all of this is temporary..."
You know this song very well, and you can't help but hum along. To your pleasant surprise, you swear that Roy is humming too. Who knew such a brash guy liked Halsey? Neither of you notice Mikey staring at you like you hung the moon and stars.
Suddenly the lights come up, and that woman who looks like Natalie's evil twin is standing in front of you, a sickening smile on her face. "Miss, you're going to have to leave," she tells you. "This is an exclusive event, and you're causing a disturbance."
Roy, God bless the man, speaks up for you - and thank goodness, because you feel like you're going to vaporize from embarrassment. "Pam, it's nothin', I was humming too."
"You're a VIP, Roy, and she isn't. It's my movie, and if I want her and her ridiculous disco ball of a dress out of here, that's my prerogative." Shit, you realize. This is Pam Stratford, the writer that Mikey enjoys so much. No wonder he was excited to get these tickets...
Mikey pulls you into his side - almost as if he expects Pam to take a swing at you. "Listen, I've always liked your work, but you don't get to talk to my g- - my friend like that - we got our tickets fair and square."
You can see that flash in Mikey's eyes that means either a bender or a fight is coming, and you don't want to see him arrested. Pam seems like the type to call the police in faster than they're needed. Pushing lightly against his chest, you say "Bear, it's ok, I'll just go..."
"Then I'm leavin' too," he says. "Roy, I'll catch ya tomorrow - Pam? You can go fuck yourself for bein' a snobby bitch." The silence is deafening as you two leave the theater, but the outraged look on Pam's face is almost worth it.
You shudder as you step out into the night air, even with Mikey holding you and blasting like a furnace. "It's cold - take me home?"
"Yeah, let's get you back before you freeze."
--
The train ride back to your neighborhood is quiet, and it's not until the two of you are walking up to your stoop that Mikey says, "Pam was wrong - you look gorgeous in that dress, and that's God's honest truth."
You smile at him. "You clean up pretty well yourself."
"Do we...wanna try this again some other time?" he asks, holding your purse for you as you dig out your keys. "Maybe not a movie, but some other excuse to dress up?"
"I'd like that, Bear," you agree. "Let's aim for after Christmas - I know how nutty things get for you during December."
"Then it's a date?" Mikey asks. He doesn't mean to put you on the spot, but if you don't feel the same way he does, he'd rather know now.
Your smile grows even wider. "It's a date - we'll nail down details after New Years." With a sudden burst of bravery, you hug him tight and kiss his cheek. "G'night, my bear."
--
Unfortunately, the holidays madness makes Mikey spiral in a bad way, and he never texts you back about the date. In fact, you don't realize as you turn to open your door that this will be the last time you see him alive.

For the drabble
60 and 61 please
so i’m making these separate bc i’m not quite sure how to combine them, but if you want me to try and figure it out js lmk and i will !! xx (one will be jegulus and one will be wolfstar but if you had another ship in mind lmk and i’ll rewrite xx)
60- ‘before you murder me, hear me out’
Regulus didn’t think he would be in this situation. It was dark, and though he should have, he wasn’t sleeping. He was wide awake, staring at the ceiling. He’d heard his window start to open, and he immediately shot up from his bed and looked at the window. Regulus, only being 14 years old, knew he was going to get murdered that night. He watched painfully, stuck in his spot from his bed as the window slowly slid open and a man started climbing through. The man hopped in, freezing as he saw Regulus. The man didn’t rush him, like Regulus expected. He felt his confusion grow, snapping on a lamp beside his bed. He felt himself blush as he saw James standing there. Had he come there for him?
“James?” Regulus asked, getting up.
“Regulus. Hi. Before you murder me, hear me out.” James said.
Regulus felt his heart break a little, knowing he was about to hear his excuse, how it was an accident. “Go on.”
“So i was going to Sirius’s room-“ James started, and Regulus immediately scowled. “And then I decided I didn’t want to go to Sirius’s room, because i missed you.”
Regulus felt himself go pink again. “Missed me? Are you sure you just don’t feel bad because you climbed into my room by accident?”
James grinned sheepishly. “I’ve been climbing into Sirius’s window since I was 9. I wanted to see you.”
Regulus smiled, a warmth in his heart growing. He walked to James, pressing his lips to James’s. James didn’t kiss back at first, in shock, but eventually started to.
61- “I love you. I’m completely and utterly in love with you. Please don’t get married.”
Remus didn’t want to get married. He knew it was a lost cause to argue with his parents. They weren’t really his parents, only the people who adopted him after his own parents died at the age of 14. He missed them dearly.
So here he sat in his bedroom with Sirius Black next to him. He’d had a crush on Sirius since the day he met him. He knew Sirius didn’t feel the same way. It didn’t matter, as he would be getting married to a woman named Marlene Mckinnon. Remus liked Marlene, he did, just not like that. Marlene was kind and sarcastic, and nearly as gay as Remus was. He knew she was in love with a woman named Dorcas Meadowes, just as she knew he was in love with Sirius.
“Are you excited to get married?” Sirius asked quietly after a long stretch of silence.
Remus scoffed at him, letting his head fall back on his bed frame. “Fat chance.”
Sirius smiled at him a bit, lighting a cigarette. Remus’s adopted parents were out, the only reason Sirius was even there. They didn’t like Sirius much, refusing to let him into their home. Remus did it behind their backs, and he did most everything.
Sirius, after smoking the cigarette, let his head rest on Remus’s shoulder. “Will things change when you’re married?”
Remus sighed. “I hope not.” Remus was only 17, and was to be married on his 18th birthday.
He hoped to get a divorce from Marlene quickly, rather than staying married. His birthday was in a week, and it was his last week as a ‘free man’. He and Marlene had decided to be allowed to date whoever they wanted, because neither of them felt any love other than friendship for each other.
Remus felt his phone ring, picking it up and putting it to his ear. “Remus Lupin.” His adopted mother growled into his ear.
“Clarisse.” Hé answered.
“I know you’re with that Sirius boy. I won’t be having any of it. We’ve moved your wedding to this afternoon. I expect you here in 30 minutes in your tux. If you’re not, there will be consequences. That boy is not invited.” She said, hanging up the phone.
Remus’s eyes widened in panic. Sirius, who could also hear her words also started to panic. They turned to each other as Remus felt tears slipping down his cheeks. Sirius wiped each of them off, offering to drive him to the venue.
Remus nodded. He felt numb and cold as they drove. He started to get out of the car before he felt a warm hand on his arm. He turned back, expecting an apologetic look from Sirius, but instead seeing a panicked look. Sirius was breathing hard, tears in his eyes. “Sirius?”
“Remus, I love you. I’m completely and utterly in love with you. Please don’t get married.” He said, desperately clutching Remus’s arm.
Remus sputtered. “You’re what?”
“I’m sorry, i’m sorry I just-“
Remus leaned in and kissed him, getting back in the car. He shut the door behind him. “Drive.” Remus said. Remus texted Marlene, telling her what happened. She texted back in full support. [Fiance ;(: Period! You go king. I’ll try and delay our parents. I’ll make an excuse for you xx! Get as far away as you can.]
And he did.
He did end up getting married, nearly 2 years later. But this time it was to Sirius.

Blood is Thicker than Water: Chapter 20
AN: Not going to lie. I STRUGGLE writing wedding scenes. However, I really love how this chapter turned out. Instead of dragging it out, we get snippets. I love that about this. Please leave feedback.
Warnings: None that I can think of.
Master List
Tumblr media
Guest List:
“Four hundred and thirty-six people.”
Rafa stares at you. He’s been sipping from that cup of coffee for over two minutes now. You lean forward and say it again, “Four hundred and thirty-six people.”
He finally puts the cup down, “I really don’t see the problem.”
You scream in frustration and stomp right out of the apartment.
The moment the door closes Rafael looks at Benny and asks, “She realizes I have a big family right?”
Wedding Party:
“So that gives me Rita as my best woman, and Ed and Eddie as groomsmen.”
“And I have Liv as my maid of honor.”
Rafa stares at you, “That means the sides are uneven.”
“So?”
“They can’t be uneven.”
You raise an eyebrow, “Why not?”
“It won’t look right.”
“Well, I don’t know what to tell you.”
Your fiance sighs, “What about your friends from college?”
“Most of them are already married and have kids. Plus they live in different states. That’s not fair to ask them.”
“Friends from childhood?”
“I hung out with Elliot’s kids. I haven’t talked to them in years, andI don’t really have a desire to do so now.”
“So this is just how it is.”
“Unless you want me to ask your mother?”
“Nope. We’re good.”
The Venue:
“What do you think?”
You look around at the garden. It is perfect for a springtime wedding. Even without the flowers in bloom, it’s gorgeous.
You look over at Rafa, his smile is stretched across his face. He’s done good. Amazing really. There’s just one problem.
“It’s not going to fit four hundred thirty-six people.”
Your fiance scowls, “We can figure it out. Some people can stand.”
You cross your arms, and lean forward, “That’s against the fire code counselor.” you point towards the plaque that reads a max of 300.
He throws his hands up in frustration, and finally says the words you’ve been waiting to hear, “Fine! I’ll make cuts.”
Ring Bearer:
“He needs a part in the wedding!”
“I’m not disagreeing with you.”
“You said no.”
“I said no, because I already told my sister Noah could do it, and he’s our nephew.”
“Well of course Noah is a ring bearer, I’m just saying Benny could be one too!”
“There’s also the fact that your grandmother might pass out if she sees a dog in the processional. We’re already not getting married in the neighborhood church. She nearly cried when we told her that.”
“She loves Benny!”
“I know, that’s why he can come to the reception and take pictures with us. I already talked to the venue and our dog walker.”
“Oh. Well, okay then.”
Shopping:
“So how did you manage to convince mama Barba and Abuelita and the rest of his relatives not to come today?”
You take a sip of the champagne in your hand, “I told them the truth. This is a you and me thing. No one else allowed.”
Liv smiles, “Well, it means a lot that it’s just us.”
“What do you think of these?”
You and Liv turn together and watch as Ed and Noah come out together. They’re dressed in matching tuxes. You and Liv melt. Noah is absolutely adorable, and Ed actually cleans up pretty good. While Rita is Rafa’s best woman, Ed and Eddie are his groomsmen, and Noah is the ring bearer.
After you’re all done cooing at Noah, Rafael finally steps out of the dressing room. He looks drop dead handsome in his tux. You feel your eyes go wide, and then he gets a little smirk on his face. You know you’re not living this moment down.
Music:
You stare at Rafa. He’s trying not to laugh. You can’t blame him. “She’s going to kill us.”
You smile, “This song comes from the first movie we ever watched together.”
“We’ve already found a way to work quotes into the wedding. If you walk down the aisle to this song, your sister might just kill us.”
You shake your head, a serious look coming over your face, “No she won’t. She knows why I love this movie, why I love the book.”
Rafa looks serious now too, “I think it’s perfect.”
Dress shopping:
“No,no, no, no, no! What did I tell you about off the rack? I said absolutely not! Where is your manager? I helped him evade a racketeering charge, he owes me!”
You sip on champagne and look at your sister. She has that look on her face, “At least it wasn’t a murder or rape charge.”
She nods in agreement before asking, “How did Rita end up on this chopping trip again?”
“This is apparently the best wedding dress shop around. She knows the owner . . . apparently rather well. She’s trying to help.”
A second later a terrified manager and a ranting Rita pass you by.
You both watch them go. You’re happy to say you don’t find your dress in that store.
Dress Shopping Part 2:
The day you find your wedding dress, you’re not expecting it. You’re less than five months away from the wedding, and you’re panicking a little bit. You KNOW it takes time to order a dress. Rita’s told you about it five million times.
You’re walking Benny when you see it. A small bridal shop, with a pretty dress in the window. You stare at it for several seconds before you call your sister. She answers on the first ring, “This better be an emergency. I’m in the middle of a case.”
“I think I might have found my wedding dress.”
There’s a moment of silence, “What’s the address, I’ll be there ASAP.”
You rattle it out just as an employee sticks her head out, “Hi there. Would you like to come in?”
You look down at Benny and she smiles, “He’s welcome to come in too. I love dogs!” You go in.
By the time Liv arrives, Benny is on his back getting belly scratches from the staff while you’re in the dressing room being fitted into your dream dress.
Liv stares at your goofy, three legged dog for a second before she calls out your name. You step out a second later.
You watch her eyes go wide, as she studies you for a second, “That’s it.”
You nod, “Yeah.” There are no tears. It’s just a comfortable feeling. This is your wedding dress.
The Night Before:
The night before your wedding is spent at Liv’s apartment. Ed and Noah head over to your place to spend time with Rafa and Eddie. It’s just the two of you. You put on face masks, paint your nails, and watch Disney movies. It reminds you of one of the best parts of your childhood.
It’s as you’re sitting on the couch that Liv says, “I’m so happy for you. You know that right?”
You smile, “I know.”
“He’s a good man.”
“The best in my opinion, though Ed gives him a run for his money.”
She smiles at that, “I truly think, you’re going to be really happy together.”
“I know so.”
With that, she pulls you in for a hug.
Right Before the Wedding:
You don’t actually feel nervous until about half an hour before the wedding. Your makeup and hair is done. You probably should have been in your dress by now, but you’re still in your getting ready outfit. Things are a bit behind schedule. Noah had a melt down, your sister has cried no less than three times, and Abuelita and Lucia have been bickering with each other. You haven’t seen Rafa. You’re not sure why you’re sticking to this stupid tradition, but you are.
You’re watching the chaos with an observant eye when someone taps you on the shoulder. You spin around to see your sister standing there. She tosses her head to the side and you follow her outside. The sun is shining and the March air is only a little chilly. You close your eyes and allow yourself a minute. When you open your eyes, you see Liv smiling at you.
“What?”
“It’s just crazy. How Lewis,”
“May he rot in hell,”
“Lead to all of this. You moving back and meeting Rafael. Me and Ed connecting, getting married, and having Noah. We’re getting those happy endings we dreamed of as kids.”
You hug yourself and look at the ground for a little bit before you look up, “Did I ever say thank you?”
“For what?”
“For raising me and loving me when you didn’t have to?”
Your sister hugs you, “You never have to thank me for that. You are one of the best joys of my life.” You smile at that.
Walking Down the Aisle:
You’re nervous, but you’re allowed to be. You’re in your dress, your veil is attached, and everyone has walked down the aisle except you and Liv. You look at your sister. She’s dressed in a black dress. She has once again avoided color.
She holds out her arm to you, and you take it. You close your eyes, and you count to three. The music starts: the instrumental Dawn from Pride and Prejudice; the first movie you and Rafa watched together. The movie you two still watch together.
You start to walk. It’s slow, and thanks to the three hundred and twenty three people (Rafa was able to cut it down) you can’t see Rafael yet. You do, however, see Uncle Don, and Finn, and Munch. You smile at them.
And then you turn the corner of people, and you see him. Rafael is standing there. He’s dressed in his tux. His hair is perfectly styled. His eyes are focused solely on you as though you’re the only thing he sees. You feel yourself start to speed up, but your sister grounds you like she always does.
When you finally reach him, you feel your breath leave your chest. And as you take his hand, everything else fades away. It’s just you and him. Just like it’s supposed to be.

Loved your fic We Swear it’s Not Real. Would you consider making it a multi-chapter? Would love to see an expansion from the beginning of their fake dating.
Hi anon! Sorry this has been sitting in my inbox for so long. As always, time escapes me very easily. I’m not sure if I can commit to an entire multi-chapter fic since I already have so many other long fics in progress. However, I’ll try write a few ficlets highlighting key moments. As with the original story, this is set in season 7 when Kat’s wedding was originally mentioned.

A Not So Indecent Proposal
Kensi rubbed her hands over her thighs. She could do this, it would be easy. All she had to do was ask Deeks to be her fake boyfriend. No big deal.
She took a hesitant step towards the bullpen, her eyes zeroing in on Deeks’ bent head. She studied his blonde mass of curls, her stomach squeezing sickeningly with nerves, and she nearly turned back around, stopping herself at the last second.
This exact process had gone on the past three days. Each morning, Kensi came in early, waited for Deeks to arrive, and then engineered a few moments when she could talk to him in private. And each day she’d chickened out before ever saying a word.
Squaring her shoulder, Kensi reminded herself that this was Deeks. She trusted him more than just about anyone, he owed her a favor, and more importantly, she was quickly running out of time.
“Morning Deeks,” she greeted him, making a show like she’d just come in.
“Morning Kensalina.” He stopped working long enough to flash her a short, yet genuine smile, then resumed writing what Kensi recognized as an LAPD form, even from a distance.
“You got a minute?”
“For my partner? Anytime,” Deeks replied, tucking his pen behind his ear, and turning to give Kensi his full attention as she took Sam’s chair.
Folding her hands together over her crossed knees, Kensi drew in a long, calming breath.
“Ok. So, you know my friend Kat is getting married—”
“You mean Kat of the much talked about show ponies and teal decor?”
“Yes. Anyway, um, so there’s been a couple questions about my plus one, or lack of one,” Kensi continued, chuckling nervously. “So, I was wondering if you would, um, consider taking on that role for me.”
Deeks’ face had slowly morphed from intrigued to confused as she spoke. Screwing up one side of his face, he slowly asked,
“Let me get this straight. You want me to be your date to a close friend’s wedding?”
“Shhh!” Waving her hands in a hushing motion, Kensi looked over her shoulder, anticipating one of the team standing within in hearing distance. No one was there, but she lowered her voice all the same.
“No, I’m asking you to pretend to be my plus one,” she corrected.
“Oh, my mistake, big difference,” Deeks teased. Crossing his arms, he leaned back in his chair, mouth spreading in a delighted grin. “So, what exactly made you pick me? My dazzling social skills, my expertise on the dance floor?” He snapped his fingers. “Ooh, I’ve got it. You know how amazing I look in a tux.”
“You know what, if you’re just going to make fun of this, forget it.” Kensi raised her hands, and pushed away from the desk. Before she could get up, Deeks tugged her back down.
“Woah, woah, woah, I’m just messing with you, Kens. I’m sorry.”
Considering him a for a moment, Kensi decided that he seemed genuinely contrite, and rolled her chair back in place.
“I guess I’m a little on edge,” she admitted. “All this wedding planning is more stressful than I anticipated. And as much as I love her, Kat is a total bridezilla.” Deeks chuckled sympathetically as Kensi groaned, pressing her fingertips to her temples. “The woman seems to think that her wedding is the event of the century and needs to outdo Katherine and William’s.”
“Good thing she comes from money and her fiancé is rich,” Deeks commented. He tapped her knee with the back of his hand. “What exactly would my duties be as your prospective plus-one?”
“Accompanying me to any major wedding events,” Kensi told him. “Kat’s calling it her wedding season, so there’s sure to be more than your typical number of events.” She tilted her head slyly. “And of course, you’d expertly play the part of the doting boyfriend so I don’t have to deal with annoying questions, pitying looks, or, most importantly, getting set up with any of Kat’s numerous cousins or single friends.”
“That sounds pretty easy.” Rubbing his bottom lip, Deeks considered her, any teasing absent from his expression. It made Kensi feel more uncomfortable than asking him to be her plus one. “Just one more question. Why me?”
Kensi dipped her head; that was a question she’d dreaded. Not because she thought Deeks would hold the information over her, but rather because it felt like it would be giving too much away. He deserved to know though, so she answered honestly.
“I trust you.” She focused on slightly uneven spot on her jeans. “I trust you to pull me out of laser filled room, have my back when my a bunch of goons with guns are firing at us, and,” she paused. “I trust you with this.”
What she left unsaid was that she trusted Deeks to guard her dignity and play his part without crossing any lines.
“Ok. I’ll do it,” Deeks agreed.
“What—you will?” Kensi blurted out in surprise.
“Yeah. Anything for my partner.”
