“But it’s tradition, we need to consummate the marriage!” he insists. Within seconds his lips are against yours and he’s fumbling with the light switch, and you finally swat his hand away and just beg him to take you to the bed.

He works the zipper of your dress down, part of him sad that he’s not going to see you in this gorgeous gown again, but then it reveals your white lace lingerie and the groan he lets out is broken and guttural and desperate.

This is far from the first time he’s seen you like this, but there’s something about this moment here and now that makes it so much more intense, so much more intimate and he just never wants to let you go.

“Satoru,” you whisper, and his breath hitches.

He leans down to capture your lips in a kiss. “Shh, I know. Just lemme take care of you, like I promised.”

And when he sees the gold band on his fourth finger pressing into the skin of your hips as he sheaths himself inside of you, he nearly loses himself, sending up a prayer to whatever gods are listening that he can keep his promise to keep you safe and happy forever.

When Regulus starts dating James, Barty and Evan are super iffy with him. They are like complaint machines thinking James is this judgy goody two shoes guy. So one time James is hanging out with them alone so he can “win them over” but Barty and Evan have this secret agenda to mess with James and scare him or wtv.

So they take him to get drugs, they are thinking that James will get scared to meet their dealer who has face scars and always grumbles and doesn’t say two words to them. Barty and Evan are intimidated by him, but at the same time they have a huge crush on the dude cause he is scary and quiet and fucking hot. So they say to James something like “if you get weed from this super scary dealer you will prove to us that you are not some uptight softy” James is super intimidated at first but then he overhears Barty and Evan saying how The Wolf will scare James and The Wolf this and The Wolf that so James knows exactly who they are meeting, but he shuts up to win against Barty and Evan in their own game.

So they go to meet the infamous Wolf and Barty and Evan stay behind so James can go and meet the scary guy alone. When they see the Wolf approaching with his usual grumbling they snigger and wait for the show.

But instead of usual, cold and intimidating interactions they see the big and scary Wolf fucking smile.

“Oh Jamie (Jamie?? What the fuck?) what are you doing here, I thought I was meeting the blond kid and his weird boyfriend.(boyfriend?? What the hell?)”

“Oh Hi Moons (Moons??? For gods sake what the fuck is going on? how does James know this guy?), yeah the weeds for them, just asked me to get it for them, some kind of test I think, they are Reg’s friends.”

“Oh fuck Sirius is going to kill me, his baby brother’s best friends are my best clients.”

“Well, he will love the new bike you paid with their money tho.” (Fuck even Regulus’s brother knows this guy????)

As Barty and Evan look back and forth at Moons (?) and Jamie (????) hugging (???????) and each others dumbfounded faces, they realize that James is not a goody two shoes, he definitely isn’t what they thought and they will definitely be getting on well with him and his super hot, weed dealing, weird nickname having friends.

writing this story has been an amazing journey, and it ain’t over yet. i’ve got plenty of future oneshots planned for the HTP au, which will surely not turn into elaborate multi-chapter projects. surely. my next goal is to get the fic (and all my other mcyt stuff) uploaded to A03 so y’all can keep track more easily 😂

howEVER, i’m about to start my final year of vet school, which means nonstop clinical rotations AND my board exam, so i can’t promise when that will come. all i can say is i’ll continue to write as long as i’m inspired, same as mel will continue to make art, and we’ll still reply to asks and tags as we receive them. so it may be slow(er) going, but there’s still lots to look forward to ✌️

okayy sorry not sorry one more post about this movie. so many reviews and ppl are claiming that this movie isn’t necessarily queer at its core which is. so wrong??? like from a plot view point. [SPOILERS AHEAD MASSIVE SPOILERS!]

when maddy tells owen she likes girls and asks him if he does too, he says (to paraphrase) “i don’t know, i like tv shows. when i think about that stuff, it feels like someone’s ripped me open and tore out all my organs.” after he watches the finale of the pink opaque, he’s vomiting the blue luna juice and sobbing about how this isn’t real, which i relate to like feeling trapped in this unaccepting environment . he does this right after realizing he is isabel, but he still hides it and shoved it down and represses it. then there’s obviously the end, where he cuts himself open in the bathroom and sees the static inside of himself for what it is. it calls back to the line “it feels like someone’s ripped me open and tore out my organs.” which was a REPONSE to being asked about specifically sexuality and more broadly, queerness. there aren’t organs there. there’s the static. he was right and it’s a relief and it’s terrifying and it’s full of guilt and shame and regret and fear. it’s the experience of seeing yourself after years of hiding and repression and it’s directly a queer experience. like hello
