Quick headcanon, since Richie is literally my favorite. (but so is every Jon character)
Richie annunciates his words like that because he has a very prominent lisp, he goes the speech therapy classes and his therapist told him that focusing on the annunciation could help.
So he pays attention to every word he says, so he doesn’t get bullied for his lisp. Only until Max is gone does he try and work on it for himself and not for others.

Sirius Black is a pretty boy that comes from a rich family. Many people want him.
Some might see this as an advantage, not Sirius. Sometimes he doesn't know if people like him because of his beauty and money or because of himself.
With his friends, he knows it is the latter. But sometimes he doubts it. Sometimes he wonders why they put up with him in the first place. He is a pain in the ass. Sometimes horrible, selfish and reckless.
With his lovers is worse. Sometimes he loves being wanted and desired. He is the kind of person who craves love and affection. But sometimes wonders if people would ever love him for real. If he wasn't good looking or wasn't a Black, people wouldn't even like him. He doubts himself all the time. And he is scared to be vulnerable, to fall in love and show his real self so the other person would leave him.
Sirius might joke saying he is gorgeous and blessed with beauty. But in reality, Sirius believes being a pretty boy is a curse.

So confused where fandom/fic writers got this interpretation that Miles does stupid shit that doesn’t make sense or barely works out in the end or puts his friends in unnecessary danger all the time. Like in both movies the others simply underestimate him and don’t understand what Miles is doing cause he thinks like Miles, not like your everyday Spiderman. He uses his Venom Strike to throw Kingpin in the ITSV movie and literally saves Gwen and Peter because they went into battle less than ready. Then had the entire plan to lure the Spiders in ATSV, yet I keep seeing him written like he doesn’t think or gets his friends in trouble even when he understands the danger. Most of the time his different thinking has helped or led people to fix personal issues.
The first movie alone pretty much sets in stone that the exact opposite of what he wants is others to get hurt by his actions, inactions or the actions of others and trying to live up to that belief and the expectations it carries. Across the Spider-verse hammers it home with how he constantly tries to save people because that’s what he should do, rather than listen to some theory that is clearly not absolute at best and outright wrong at worst. Every fic has him being the one to cause issues and not fix them when his planning and actions literally helped save Gayatri and her father. (c’mon we know the glitching was the spot)
Yeah, I get making him stubborn or strong willed cause he doesn’t listen all the time but usually it’s for a good and valid reason, if he listened every time he was told not to, guess how many of our beloved characters would be dead?

I'm a Catholic, and it's Good Friday.
I'm suddenly wondering, when Mary held Jesus in her arms after He was bought down from the cross, did she get flashbacks from when He was a little boy asking her for a hug with a goofy little grin?

rewatched nerdy prudes must die for the first time since the digital ticket premiere and i’ve been on a “thinking about the spankoffski brothers” kick recently and something sort of notable is that ted is never mentioned. pete mentions his dad in the present tense, (sells women’s shoes,) so he’s still around, mentions his mom in the past tense, (made him do tap as a kid,) so who knows if she’s still alive/in pete’s life, but ted isn’t mentioned once unless i missed something
but his connection to ted is still acknowledged, with the line richie says about how pete looks like the homeless guy, (which, ouch, thanks for that.) pete actively draws attention to his last name being spankoffski, and the nightmare time episodes that dropped before the release of npmd made it a point to show that pete is ted’s little brother and that he looks up to him. obviously there are some differences between the realities but not usually in who is related to who, or any major changes in how one person feels about another, so it’s safe to assume ted is still pete’s big brother, and that pete still cares about ted, making it a little weird that he never even mentions his brother
… unless ted is an sore subject in a way his parents aren’t, someone he’d rather not think or talk about. afaik, we don’t have any clue what age pete usually is when ted presumably goes “missing,” so i sort of wonder if this is a reality where ted has already “gone missing,” and the reason that ted is never mentioned despite ted’s last name being considered a “spoiler” and the material released before npmd going “PETE IS TED’S BABY BROTHER BTW AND PETE CARES ABOUT HIM” is because he’s already gone and pete’s like… mourning

when i die, don't look for me in the sunsets...
sirius — look for me in the sky. i know it's a cliché, but there is where you will see me. am i scared of death? no, of course not. i am endless, i am invincible, i am bright; i am the brightest star, actually. i will reach out for you, and i will light up your way. you will find me.
james — look for me in the sky. you will see the sun, bright and scorching. i will warm you up when you will grieve for me, and i will bring closure to you. i might be gone, but i haven't left you alone. i am here, still. and i always will be.
remus — look for me in the river. see the stones, smooth and cold. look at the water, running. its way is freedom, isn't it? it's all ended; it's over. however, that does not mean you can't go on. fall in love. live. without me. we'll meet again soon.
peter — look for me somewhere quiet. there is beauty in quiet, although some people can't see it. it's peaceful. come sit with me, won't you? death is imminent, of course; however, why won't we make the most of life?
dorcas — look for me in my lover's arms. i have been deceived so many times, death does not scare me anymore; it's the last bit of closure i have. look for me in the little things, where i hide. many do not see me, yet i am here. you just have to look for me.
lily — look for me at home. everything has a start and an ending, and i am always coming back. look for me where i can be myself, where everything is warm. look for me at home. maybe, one day, it will be ours to share.
mary — look for me somewhere bright. the sky, maybe. or somewhere colourful. it helps me forget how alone i am, really. i forget about the loneliness that aches in me. someday, i wish you'd search for me. for now, grieve.
marlene — look for me somewhere loud. it helps me forget. scared of death? of course, so i don't think of it. i let myself be washed away with adrenaline, pumped through my brain, and with a moment of pleasure. life is short, after all.
