Aro/ace Kakashi fic where being perceived makes his skin crawl and he wears the mask bc hes just very good looking and doesn't enjoy the attention that brings him + compounded years of him refusing to show his face would only bring more attention to him and his looks if he chose to take it off now.

But like him getting his team and noticing Sasuke is made very uncomfortable by the attention a lot of girls give him (plus the whole Sasuke fan club thing) And Kakashi, already having singled out Sasuke as being the student to see his past self in, telling him why he wears his own mask. And Sasuke copying him to try to escape some of the attention he gets. Just the mask becoming a comfort item for him bc it also helps to hide his expressions n stuff, which is useful

But like them bonding over the desire to not be perceived and be left tf alone. It'd be really funny if as a kid Kakashi kind of got the same attention Sasuke does, I'm sure being a baby genius already did get him a lot of recognition and I mean like— just look at the people surrounding him at that age that we can see. Rin, Obito, Gai, no one was normal about that kid. Rip Kakashi you never stood a chance

Hi, I would really request you to not name-call characters here, because I don't like to use words like that on my blog. The crux of my blog is the love Itachi and Sasuke have for each other, and I don't want to indulge in the negativity for other characters about whom I don't care all that much.

Having said that, I completely agree with you on this one, because you couldn't have read the manga and your opinion is that she "deserves better." She does deserve better, but let's not make it sound like Sasuke trapped her and forced her to marry him.

A couple of weeks ago I received an ask about her fans writing fics in which she cheats on Sasuke with Kakashi, because she deserves better. I nearly threw up, because what? I looked up a couple of fics with the pairing afterwards, and yep, many people agreed that "it's good she has Kakashi, she deserves better than Sasuke."

It's not only cringe or stupid, but also cruel and heartless, because how does one read Sasuke's story and can have the heart to think he deserves to be cheated on? I can't have any respect for such fans.

Sasuke didn't go and chase after her for years. My reaction to "SS sucks because she deserves better" is always this (among many others):

Guess they both deserved better. She deserved someone who loved her. Sasuke deserved someone who understood him too. I would have liked him to be aroace, but I don't want him to end up alone. Not that it makes me like SS, but I do want him to have someone he could look forward to seeing and not be alone. I want Itachi to come back maybe, because nothing else would heal him. He's just caught up in responsibilities because he probably doesn't want to think and feel too much.

It could be my imagination and I could be wrong, because I haven't seen Boruto, but I feel in Boruto he's barely holding it together.

What her fans do is victimize her for the choices she herself made. It's just stupid.

For me, I don't have fixed sexuality headcanons for most characters, even for the characters for whom I have fixed sexuality headcanons. Like for instance, with Madara, I usually see him as 100% gay, like very very gay. But, if I want to make MadaMito happen, I make him bi. In fact, I think most characters I headcanon as bi/pan, actually monosexual characters are a rarity.

Also, each character has an allo/ace/aro switch that I flip on and off based off of my mood. Like, I'm not sure if Madara is demi, or if he just has high standards that 99.99999% of men can't dream of reaching. For instance, his *bare minimum* requirement is that the guy has to be taller than him. He's like 5'10. In a clan where the average male height is like 5'7.

And the same thing with Hashirama. Usually, I hc him as allosexual, but sometimes I make him acespec just because I'm a contrarian at heart for funsies.

Tobirama: Some kind of aroace-spec, but he could also just be allo. Idk

Mito: Bisexual with a preference for women.

Touka: Gay, but sometimes I make her bi for like IzuTouka/ToukaIzu

Hikaku: Idk, either bi or straight

Izuna: Pansexual

Sasuke: This is a tricky one. With him, he has to be 100% gay. but, I could also see him as being aroace-spec

Kakashi: The one character who I can't figure out. Is he gay? Is he straight? Is he bi/pan? Aegosexual? Who knows...

To address this ask, I first pose a question myself; Why?

The point of shipping, or really any fan creation, is to show your love and support for media/a character by expressing yourself, your thoughts and your theories/headcanon's through your work. The reason a lot of characters are loveable and popular is because they are fully capable of allowing fans to see themselves in them and see their versions without destroying the canon.

For example; If we look at Zoro from One Piece. As far as we're aware, bro has little to no romantic inclination. And yet his top ship is with another man on the crew, who happens to be woman loving Sanji. But it isn't something that feels wrong or out of place, because the ambiguity is there and their relationship is prebuilt, fans just need to figure out how it moves to romantic. The ability to see past the initial "Oh, Sanji loves women" and see the potential branches for this path. Yes, it's probably canon he legit loves women like that, but it could also be a trauma reaction based on his back story. Or it could ALSO be possible that he's bi/pan/etc

In short; Just because someone is shown a certain way, doesn't mean that's the only option. As fans we have the freedom to conjure up theories and beliefs based on the information presented to us.

Another good example would be Naruto. He's married to a woman, and yet it's still VERY much suggested that he loves Sasuke the same way. There is no "definite" answer. Assuming there is purely because of the canon relationships is a little closed minded in my opinion.

AND, even if it is stated, people change. We weren't born thinking "Oh heck yeah, dong". We develop our tastes as we grow and learn and experience new things. A great example would be Deadpool for this. He starts off in love with a woman (I'm speaking film wise by the way) and continues to love her, but very much over the course of their relationship begins to experiment and opens up that door for himself. Some people need to find the right person that makes them question themselves before they can confirm anything. Or, on the flip side, they need to see a lot of potential and not react lovingly/sexually to them in order to put the pieces together for aro/ace.

Life is a mystery bag of tags and labels that we as humans made to understand things better, and that's ok. Be who you are and love what/who you love. Be YOU

Anyway, I think I went a bit off tangent haha XD All I'm trying to say is, doors aren't entirely shut because of one thing or another. Fans can and will continue to express themselves and their thoughts through their loved characters, and that's ok. It's healthy even! I know people who use characters to test the waters for themselves because it can't hurt the people around them. It's harmless. A bit of fun, if you will.

I will always say this to these kinds of comments, ones where you should ask yourself "why am I bothering to send this?".

It is easier to keep scrolling past something you don't like, then drawing attention to it, and yourself, by commenting something that could hurt or upset an innocent person, and honestly makes you look like a silly grumpy guts :)

Okay, so I don’t watch Hazbin Hotel (if I wrote it wrong, sorry) but for like weeks, the only thing I see in the asexual tag is people complaining about allos shipping ace characters in a very allo way, and it’s been annoying me to no end, because while we do have to be upset about that, the ace tag should also function in a way for us to share jokes, have fun and enjoy our identity without having to fight for our right to exist.

So I propose we do something different. Let’s annoy the aphobes. I propose that from now on, every character becomes ace/aro/aroace. No more shipping fanfics, just platonic relationships and friendships. Every fanart is now SFW and has the ace/aro/aroace flags colors.

It's ace week so I want to share some charscters that I headcanon as asexual:

- Bilbo Baggins - in the book he is an absolute aroace king who lives in his huge house alone happily for his whole life

- Frodo Baggins - he might be caedosexual because he is definitely traumatised after his journey, but might as well been asexual his whole life

- Papyrus from Undertale - he is definitely aroace, he literally friendzones us after going on a date because he doesn't feel any romantic feelings towards us. And he doesn't know what people do in bedrooms when on dates

- Levi from AoT - he has so many friends yet seemingly no partners

- Dustin from Stranger Things - heteroromantic asexual. Steve needed to literally explain sexual attraction to him.

- Gaara from Naruto - he is aroace or gay ace (but probably still on aro spectrum)

- Sasuke from Naruto - I see him as gay ace or (less likely) aro ace

Oo! Or Naruto meets Dungeon Meshi!

Okay, so like some spoilers ahead for Meshi, so under the cut.

Demons in Meshi are located at the bottom of the dungeons and are responsible for their formation. The Elemental Nations are a place that figured out how to seal demons inside people. So we're doing away with like half the lore in Naruto now.

There are still ninjas, and Obito is being manipulated by a Dungeon Lord who was still alive because his demon had been sealed into a tree. The connection is allowing the Dungeon Lord to work on unsealing the demon.

It's a Tallmen-only country, despite the elves trying, because thanks to how they handle their demons, the Tallmen's powers aren't exactly the same as magic, so they can fight back pretty well.

Anyway, Naruto mostly happens canon, except for the Goddess thing and all that, and... I'm sorry ,but Kurama follows demon rules of Meshi now. No friendship between Naruto and him.

However, Naruto hates the idea of anyone else being treated as he was. The actions of him, Gaara and Bee changed some opinions, but the civilians still heavily dislike them. He still is refused service, still sneered at and called an abomination. So, Naruto decides to leave. His death outside the Elemental Nations will cause the demon inside him to escape, but a dungeon will form around him instead.

Naruto isn't alone, though. Sakura follows, as do Kakashi and Shikamaru. Rock Lee, Ino, Chouji, Tenten, Iruka and Gai are only a few steps behind as well. (There is some drama with Naruto not getting with Hinata because 'she waited so long for you' but he isn't interested in her even if she's nice. It's why Kiba and Shino don't follow too.)

Sasuke, Karin, Juugo and Suigestu also go, but they don't follow the others. Too much bad blood. They keep in touch through summons and letters. It's enough.

Naruto and his younger friends form a large adventuring party to earn money, while Iruka, Gai, and Kakashi more or less retire to run a business of sorts. This way, they end up running into Laios and his party. They become friends.

I imagine that Naruto's large party often breaks up so that it's more fun for them to. When Falin is eaten by a Dragon, Namari alerts Naruto when she sees him after she accepts a new party. Naruto was alone at the time as he'd taken a small break from adventuring, but ran right to Laios to help out.

Small nerfing of the Ninja powers will have to happen to make things consistent, though, as otherwise it wouldn't be an interesting read. Naruto, as well, would realize no one knows what causes dungeons to form, and would have to come to the difficult choice to tell them about why. Including his theory about the Winged Lion.

Pairing ideas: I'm kinda feeling Sakura/Rock Lee, Chouji/Ino, Kakashi/Gai, Aro-Ace Iruka, Tenten meets a pretty girl, Shikmaru/Naruto... Marcille/Falin of course and Chilaois!
