I like Heiji he's a neat guy and Hakuba hasn't been presented yet and I don't really think he has a solid standing in detcon because he's briefly there in like one kaito episode he's more of a Kaito Kid character than a detective conan one. And Ran! I like Ran she doesn't deserve the stuff she has to put up with she doesn't get payd enough for taking care of her father and a random kid that just appeared one day and school and her childhood best friend that suspiciously disappeared the same day the strange kid that knows too many things for a seven year old grade schooler came into their lives and with him appeared a sudden wave of success for her father paired with a strange form of narcolepsy. She deserves a raise.

Danny is listening to the various eyeballs and ghosts chatter on about all the issues that he now has to oversee and advise and make so many freaking decisions on. It’s annoying that it all has to come down to his call because he was a dumb 14 year old who didn’t want his town to permanently live in the ghost zone.

Now 17, King of the Infinite, and a bit wiser to the world, Danny is doing his best to balance his teenage ambitions to not give a shit and his protective obsession to very much give a shit.

Sams parents are making her learn the family business and Tucker is trying to make this internship he’s got with a fancy tech company out of New Jersey into a career without college… so while they’re commiserating with Danny the idea comes up.

Earth has a shit ton of heroes. Like, ever since the Justice League *poofed* the GIW out of existence with the Meta human acts- more and more caped crusaders seemed to be coming out of the wood work. More villains too but still, more people who seemed wise to their abilities and morals. Danny has literally never taken an ethics class.

But rn, Eye-mothy and Eye-Bert are arguing over how Danny as King Phantom is supposed to tackle the problem of some fucking pool acting as a weird trade route with a cult and… ugh it’s just so boring but like also such a fucking problem. But… maybe it can be someone else’s issue.

Opening a portal, Danny escapes into space and gets to work finding the base of operations- Tucker had told him there was a new satellite after all and there’s no way it wasn’t connected to the hero orgs- and boom he flies into the Watchtower.

“Hey- are any of you guys willing to consult on some weird pools of ectoplasm in Pakistan? Green and glowing little lakes of bullshit and magic?” Danny asks into the meeting room of the JL regardless of their startled and alarmed exclamations.

“… I could consult on that.” A voice comes from the corner, and Danny recognizes him as one of the bat people. Or bird? The guy is in a lot of red and clearly wasn’t supposed to be in this meeting based on the way he’s propped in the corner. The room erupts in protest but Danny barely hears them through his excitement and focus on the dude.

“Great! I’ll have him back before the end of the day! Lets go Bird boy!” And with that, Danny grabbed the Bird, chucked them both through a portal back into his thrown room and begins to explain the way these eyeballs are totally trying to trap him into doing more work than he needs to do.

“What do I call you by the way? I’m Danny but you’ll probably hear them call me King Phantom.”

“I go by Red Robin, and honestly, I’ve been trying to get this shit taken care of for years.”

From there Tim becomes a regular consultant for King Phantom- the Bat Family is losing their minds with him constantly going to the land of the dead but also Constantine said not to piss off the king at all costs.

Danny is just thrilled that this dude has a shit ton of insight as well as business sense- like he could legit run the monarchy way better than him despite the fact that they’re the same age.

They end up working together for years, and even when there’s not an active issue at hand, Danny will meet up with the bird just to talk.

Sam and Tucker think they’re hilarious each time they ask if Danny’s proposed yet.

Tim has already planned their wedding but all of that information is in a folder more secured than the nuclear codes- Danny needs to ask him on a date first.

oh wow wow wow thank you so so much!! i'm really glad that you're enjoying my story so much! it really means a lot to me. <33 i think your english is good! but if you need/want me to clarify anything i say here, just let me know and i'll try to rephrase it for you!

okay, so in the Gotham tv show (this has spoilers for all 5 seasons, so read on if you're okay with that) the way that they approached writing the joker was actually really up in the air in the beginning. this is because they didn't have the rights to use the name "joker," and so fox (the company that made the show) planned on making a bunch of smaller characters in the show as a kind of easter egg as people who could be the joker or who resemble him in some way.

this changed when cameron monaghan (the actor for both jerome and jeremiah) guest starred in s1e16 "the blind fortune teller." in it, the character of jerome is introduced as a 17/18 year old boy who travels with the circus with his mother, who is a snake dancer. he is meant to be one of the aforementioned joker-like characters in the show and wasn't actually supposed to be included again after that episode, if i am not mistaken.

however, the viewers LOVED his performance and jerome came back in season two as a member of the maniax, a group of arkham inmates who were broken out of the asylum. i won't go too into detail about the actual plot, but in seasons two, three, and four, jerome shows up in at least a few different episodes with very memorable storylines each time.

it isn't until season four of the show that jeremiah is even revealed at all! jeremiah and jerome are identical twin brothers, however, jeremiah has been in hiding for years under the fake name "xander wilde" in an attempt to escape jerome, who wants to get revenge on him for lying to their mother about what he (jerome) did when they were children. basically, jeremiah lied to their mother (lila, who jerome is revealed to have killed in 1x16) that jerome tried to kill him, causing jeremiah to be sent away and be adopted by rich people and get to go to a well-funded private school where he could live out his best life as a child prodigy (which was jeremiah's end goal to this), whereas jerome was left behind in the circus that they lived at (haly's circus, the same one that dick grayson later was raised in before being adopted by bruce). during this time, jerome was horrifically abused by his mother, his uncle, and his mother's many romantic partners. this eventually caused him to crack, which creates the character we see in the show.

here's an easy way to remember the difference in their personalities:

in the standard american deck of cards, there are two jokers: one that is black and white and one that is in color. in this analogy, jeremiah is the black and white joker and jerome is the one in color.

this is jerome:

he's got a *very* boisterous personality. he's outgoing and charismatic and, of course, severely messed up in the head. he *enjoys* the pain he causes people and does it with little to no reservations. he thinks things through less thoroughly than jeremiah but jerome always has a plan and is actually quite smart. i couldn't do him the disservice of calling him the dumb twin, despite some points about jeremiah that i'll get back to later.

anyway, jerome has a grand plan for all of gotham: he believes that, fundamentally, everyone in the world is like him and is also at least a bit crazy inside. he wants everyone to tap into their inner selves and let themselves run free / go crazy. he successfully ensnares huge hoards of gothamites with his persuasive way of speaking and interesting flare to his words. he amasses a large cult following, all of whom are very similar to him in the sense that they all demonstrate similar signs of instability.

jerome kind of invented the iconic "HAHAHA" signature joker laugh in the gotham universe, even though he isn't the one who goes on to become "mr. j" (gotham's version of the joker) in the end (that's jeremiah, though i have a lot to say about that).

jerome's always smiling, a genuinely creepy smile that throws people off at first but can be really scary once you know what you're looking at. he single handedly turns gotham into a madhouse on multiple occasions and is the one who basically spread the "crazy" to the general population (for short: genpop).

he's a classic cult leader in the sense that he can mesmerize a whole room with his magnetic presence but also will ruthlessly cut down any of his followers if they so much as upset him (or even if they're just being annoying or could have a greater purpose, like when he stabbed a follower in the gut to take their blood to draw a frowney-face on bruce).

that reminds me, another important thing to know about jerome is that he has an iconic stapled-on face! this is because he died once (in season two, though he came back to life for season three onwards) and one of his followers tried to revive him using some insider medical knowledge from doctor hugo strange (who is just... a whole thing. ew.). he thinks that he failed at doing this and steals jerome's face so that he can wear it on television in an attempt to control jerome's followers (spoiler: this doesn't work).

however, it turns out that jerome *was* revived from this, and he's pretty upset that some dude stole his face! so he uses a staple gun to re-attach it after he gets it back (and kills the guy who did it). his face is later punched off by jim gordon but reattached more properly during his time at arkham afterward (the carnival scene happened in season 3 and jerome came back with a kind-of healed face in season 4).

jerome is the colorful joker because he's very much expressive. he lets out every single emotion he feels---unless he's trying to deceive someone, at which point he is a phenomenal liar. (in season 1 when we are first introduced to him, he almost successfully gets away with the murder of his own mother.)

jerome is funny and laughs a lot and is *loud.* he's also absolutely insane and incredibly cruel, as well as impulsive, but he's able to curb his instincts if he feels like he can pull off a big plan.

jerome is a showman by nature. he's a product of the circus and it *shows.* everything he does is like an act, something that is acknowledged by many people in the show.

he's a funky lil dude. totally crazy, but kind of adorable at times.

he's also SEVERELY traumatized from his horrible past and has huge trust issues.

so, yeah. jerome is colors! remember that.

unfortunately, pookie died in season 4 and doesn't seem to have been revived this time </3

now, onto his twin brother jeremiah!

jeremiah is, at least at first, presented to be the complete opposite of jerome. he's calm, collected, and seemingly sane---at least at first. bruce trusts him at first and he even befriends him for a period of time before jeremiah betrays him.

jeremiah is a genius engineer, and, when looking into his past, we can assume that he was a child prodigy. he worked with thomas wayne before he died and designed the wayne plaza building under the aforementioned alias "xander wilde." he also locked himself in an underground maze for ~6 years (i believe?) and never went outside, instead sending his proxy (ecco) out to act in his place during business transactions.

as seen here, jeremiah seems to be the complete opposite of showboat jerome:

when we first meet jeremiah, we are told that he is totally sane, but we can later see that this is not the complete truth.

i'll use jeremiah's project as a metaphor for this. jeremiah was building a set of generators which could make energy harvesting and usage much less expensive and much more bio-friendly (if i remember correctly). bruce promised to fund his project and jeremiah accepts his offer quickly.

after jerome dies in season 4 after kidnapping bruce and jeremiah, he left behind a concoction of chemicals that seemingly make jeremiah go insane. this is a play on joker toxin / joker venom from the greater dc universe.

however, after jeremiah reveals his new self

he says that the spray did not actually change who he actually is, but just gave him an altered appearance. there are a lot of fan theories about this, but the general consensus is that the spray likely lowered his inhibitions, which gave him the kick needed to reveal his true self.

even his complexion resembles the joker he corresponds with: black and white. he is the black and white joker because he isn't as expressive, is way more calculated, and is more cruel and less happy. even his skin is paper white.

that looks a lot more like the joker we know and love today, right? bleach-pale skin, red painted lips, green hair. he's instantly recognizable as the stereotypical joker now.

remember when i mentioned the generators? let's go back to them. the entire time that the generators have been around, they've also been perfectly functional as powerful bombs. their ability to be used as bombs does not undermine the fact that they can also be used as generators, and both of these things were true at the same time *for the entire time they have existed.*

it is in this way that jeremiah's paradoxical nature has always existed. jeremiah is crafty, cunning, and absolutely vicious. he has no care or concern for human life in general and will sacrifice most people in his life if it means that he will get what he wants in the end.

this is shown both before and after the joker toxin in how he lied about jerome when they were children (which caused jerome to be heavily abused) and in how jeremiah willingly killed one of his most devoted and beloved followers, who was being ransomed, just because someone put him on hold and it was personally easier for him to just kill him than sit on hold on the phone for a while. (he also has a vicious streak, though, because he immediately moved the demolition of the bombs up to immediately once he was out of the blast zone because those people inconvenienced him.)

something that's important to realize about jeremiah is that he has an issue with being called crazy. jerome does, too, but he eventually comes to accept the term, almost like he's reclaiming it, but jeremiah is *violently* against it. that's one of the things that set him off in the previously mentioned interaction.

both jeremiah and jerome are obsessed with bruce, though in different ways. jeremiah sees bruce first as his best friend and later as the "brother [he] could never have, that jerome could never be." jerome just sees bruce as a particularly entertaining and interesting kid who he enjoyed tormenting who he would eventually kill.

anyway, despite jeremiah being crazy (or, depending on who you ask, just less inhibited) he is still crazy smart and calculating. he thinks through everything before he does it and his master plans seem like they go on forever with 10000 parts to them and backups and contingencies galore.

the only time that jeremiah ever really seems to break out of this is when he's fighting with bruce. while he still does have a greater point to make or something he's trying to accomplish, he thinks through things less with him and shows his impulsive and rash side a bit more, which is interesting because jerome showed his thoughtful and contemplative side when faced with the obstacle that is bruce thomas wayne. i love parallels and contrasts, especially in these two characters! i just love writing about twins, they're always so interesting.

some important things about their relationship to one another:

even though jerome kidnapped jeremiah and seemingly strapped a bomb to his neck (after breaking into his house and telling him that he would kill him), jerome doesn't seem to actually want jeremiah to die. instead, as we later find out, he wants jeremiah to unleash his true self and carry on his legacy of chaos and cruelty in gotham for him after his death. this is why he left behind the laughing gas for him.

(the fact that jerome thought to do all of that shows that he really was a smart character and that he truly did understand the world around him well. he knew exactly what would happen in the event of his death, i.e. bruce offering to fund jeremiah's work and jeremiah accepting, as is shown when jerome has the joker venom in a present box which claims to be sent from wayne enterprises.)

jeremiah *hates* to be compared to jerome in any way, as he thinks of himself as "the face of true sanity." he actually has an entire notebook full of jerome's ideas, which he says he will outdo and perfect, thus defeating his brother in the end, which i don't know if i agree with, but whatever.

i think that it's because of the reputation that jerome got at the circus. jeremiah wanted people to think of him as better than jerome and as the perfect child, which he succeeded at. to him, jerome is synonymous with crazy, which i've already mentioned that he hates to be called.

okay, just one more part to talk about. the infamous, much anticipated Mr. J!!!

in the series finale, it is revealed that jeremiah, after falling into a vat of acid, is horribly disfigured and pretends to be in a vegetative state for the whole ten years that bruce is on his quest to improve himself before becoming batman. he does this as a way of waiting for bruce to come back to gotham so he can continue to be obsessed with him.

however, though this is jeremiah, it seems that he has actually gone through immense mental trauma sometime during this time (perhaps during his fall into a vat of chemicals), which has caused him to sort of lose his sense of self. he once says that there was "another me" [another him] once, which is, of course, referring to jerome. this implies that jeremiah sees jerome as an extension of himself, almost, and almost makes it seem as if mr. j is a whole different entity of his own.

While this song is originally (and famously) by The Mountain Goats I really like the Laura Jane Grace cover. And I love it for Gorgug as a kind of wink to @rabdoidal 's transfem Gorgug hc, which is another thing I absolutely love.

Also, Sincere Engineer sounds like a band name that Gorgug would think of because that's what he is. Also I really like the way this kind of makes a parallel to Gorgug helping his friends (it's gorgug keep going) and them helping him do well in his classes with studying and everything.

I know that the structure of an adventuring school is different than something in the real world, and if we were to apply the current utilitarian models of education towards a system that prioritizes people who freak out and fight stuff and not just people who can churn out content and do services, it would make sense that teachers in this system can freak out on students and that's like normal, but I'm gonna say the most lukewarm take ever and say it's fucked up that Porter kept bending the rules for Fig and didn't do fucking anything for Gorgug, just to say that it was to "make him embrace his rage"

Like if we're gonna prioritize class excellence, then Porter should have been more than happy to help Gorgug find a class in which he felt more comfortable, even if, at the end of the day, Porter thought Gorgug should ultimately drop Barbarian.

I have mixed feelings about the way Gorgug finally got his MCAT signed, because, like - yes, anger and rage aren't necessarily bad, and while Gorgug initially was repressing his anger in season 1, I really think that isn't the case anymore. And yet we have Porter pushing rage so hard in the "corrupting rage" season.

I truly believe that anger can be a beautiful and natural thing, that it keeps you safe in certain situations, that it shows you when you are being mistreated and lets you advocate for yourself. And I think that that is a lesson that a lot of the bad kids need to learn, specifically Kristin, Riz, and even Adaine (with the transition to using a sword and also the whole deal with Adaine's furious fists). But Gorgug already learned that lesson. Sometimes you don't have to be angry????

Damian and Jon always have 3 years age gap, even before dc age up Jon, they are like 13 and 10, And after age up(Jon is stuck in space had lived through years and is back on earth) they are now 14 and 17. In most of the fan art, you see people who draw them looking the same age pre-age up, because Damian is really short at 13. And people started to ship them when Jon is 10 year old child. You don't date a child when you're a teen, or date a 14 year old teen and being a college student, that is weird.

As an asexual, I mostly headcanon Nika and Damian as nonbinary and asexual. And a lot of the ppl who like Daminika see them as trans for trans too.

In my previous vent post is referring to the weird age gap ship, and the maturity of different ages and mentalities when characters are being ship together. Maybe you are young and see the fanart and can't think clearly what the issue is. That I can understand, because a few years ago(when I was young and dumb!! and didn't/unable to use my brain to think clearly!!!) I used to think the weird age gap was nothing but now I'm looking back and regret the weird ship I used to ship and draw (Toph and Sokka), I don't ship them anymore + Suki x Sokka superior!!

I have deleted some of Toph and Sokka art and the remaining ones have changed titles and tags to platonic sense. I didn't delete them all because they are still part of my (dumb and reckless!!!) art journey and the things that I'm now getting over and will not ever draw as a ship again.

So, a whole complex of things I noticed in Ep 1 of Kiseki: Dear To Me:

First of all, the mental calculus Bai Zongyi does when he overhears his boss talking about the one-night stand who cleaned him out is HILARIOUS. He goes tearing back home, and I'm like, my guy. Even in your financial straits, why wouldn't you be willing to lose your rice cooker to get rid of the gangster blackmailing you into letting him hole up in your apartment living his best stay-at-home girlfriend life? If you get back home and your rice cooker is gone, but the actualfax criminal who took over your bed by repeatedly threatening to report you on ginned-up aggravated assault (if not murder) charges is also gone, is this not a net gain? I feel that many people would come to a different conclusion on that calculation than you did. Perhaps you do need help with math. (Protip: Your erstwhile math tutor is not unbiased.)

ANYWAY.

I think it's interesting and maybe telling that one of the things Zongyi overhears his boss saying is that "a greedy person steals everything." Because there's a few things going on here that relate to Fan Zherui, including the fact that he keeps insisting he's going to pay everything back double - triple, even! - even as he whines his way into getting Zongyi to bring home more and more stuff for him, too many treats for his "little tummy" supposedly to handle. (I see what you did there, A-Rui. I am not as dumb as a 17-year-old boy - usually at least - and you are not as slick as you'd like to think you are.) Additionally, Zherui tells Zongyi more than once that there's nothing worth stealing in his ratty little apartment, so apparently he has some standards, instead of just being greedy for whatever he can get his hands on.

BUT.

But when Zongyi gets home to find Zherui unlocked and still lounging around on his front balcony like a stray cat that's been fed, we discover that Zherui has taken something from Zongyi behind his back. Zongyi has very deliberately not told Zherui his name, including in a previous scene when Zherui explicitly asked for it. So at some point, Zherui has gone through Zongyi's stuff and discovered his name - and who knows what else about him. He's taken the identity that Zongyi wanted to keep from him, which is like a kind of theft.

How interesting, that nothing else in that little apartment is worth as much as Zherui's shoes, nothing else is worth taking, but Zongyi's name - his identity, his self - is. How interesting, that Zongyi is what Zherui sees value in, already, enough to be worth trying to steal for himself, figuratively, if not literally, at this point.

HOWEVER.

Almost immediately, Zherui tries to "pay back" Zongyi for what he's taken by offering his own name (which Zongyi has never asked for). It comes out as a kind of formal declaration "I, Fan Zherui, will ..." I don't know, something or other, whatever he says he's gonna do that is already out of my head because it's not as important as the fact that he felt he had to repay Zongyi by offering his own name in return for what he took. This is really, really noticeable, because while it's a good way for us, as the audience, to learn his name, it's not necessary, because Ai Di and Chen Yi have already talked to and about him, using his name, earlier in the episode.

That declaration of his name isn't there for the audience. It's solely for Zongyi.

If it's an exchange, it's not stealing, right?

How interesting, that Zherui wants Zongyi to have his name - his identity, his self - wants Zongyi to have him, that Zherui offers himself like this, even this early on.

Glass Joe

Hes very cheerful, even after getting beaten a 100 times,this could imply hes a optimistic person or is simply used to failing often.

This can be backed up by him being stubborn and continuing boxing even after he gets brain damage and has to use extra protection to not get more issues. He could be doing boxing for fun or because he has passion for it.

But his face & words say otherwise, before you fight him (before the first cutscene and the slideshow, not counting the selection screen) he has a strange expression that looks maybe confused or unsure, he could be doubting his skills or simply wondering how they let a 17 year old in.

He talks about how "his stomach is mush" during the TD cutscene, if that sounds confident then i don't wanna know what counts as cocky...

He could be someone happy with their career but very doubtful of his skills. This shows during his celebration animation, hes literally over the moon to beat one person, one. Imagine what that man felt after he beat Nick bruiser.

Von Kaiser

Also in his comic strip (yes, theres a Wii comic for punch out.) he seems to have the very simple goal of being a champion and being congratulated. He has dreams of decorating the champion belt with a baguette for fucks sake, if that doesnt scream simple i dont know what will.

Hes shown to be very serious, confirmed by his cold expression that changes only during cutscenes or when you get hits on him, he could be hiding emotions because of childhood stuff, maybe a urge to hide it or simply have a resting bitch face.

His slideshows show us how he gets his ass kicked by kids and thats grounds for getting some issues, his pre-fight cutscene has him worried about something enough to have him hyperventilating, maybe its the thought of getting his ass kicked again thats making him worried.

He gets a bit angrier in his TD and fastens up, but theres not much to get there.

Disco Kid

He could have issues showing emotions from childhood trauma, but then again saying someone who doesn't show emotion is 100% traumatized sounds very dumb, he could simply have a rbf. (as mentioned before)

Disco Kid is just... Happy, hes cheerful, hes energetic and passionate about what he does.

Hes absolutely beaming with happiness! Except for the TD cutscene where he literally goes broke...And finds his happiness again!

King Hippo

Since hes able to walk off being broke that easily, its safe for us to assume he has gone through worse and has stayed optimistic.

King Hippo is.. King Hippo! He eats, he fights, he sleeps. Thats King Hippo all right.

He's shown to be innovative since his first thought when he sees a manhole cover is "i could use that!"

Piston Hondo

He's also very cocky, as much as i don't like to say it, he says something in his native tongue before laughing, he could be saying anything and finding it funny himself.

He's shown to be very focused and polite, he bows during the fight for fucks sake! Hes pretty much throwing the fight just to be respectful.

His TD cutscenes show us how he goes out of his way to get stronger, he outruns a bullet train just to beat a child again. This could imply not trusting himself to not lose again, feel pressured to keep his title or simply want to not get beaten again. And said issues i just mentioned could be rooted in past issues.

His cutscenes during the fight show him calmly talking to Mac, no mean comments or other stuff, he just reads manga, says some stuff and continues on with it, but the bar for being respectable is pretty low in the wvba, looking at Bald "Stop Chucking Dumbells At The Crowd" Bull.

He could be raised in a household where the punishment for being disrespectful is very heavy or simply feel like he must be respectful to make it far.

His politeness to Mac could reflect how he was treated during his childhood, showing the one thing he (probably) lacked: Kindness, it would probably hurt him to see someone so young have to go through stuff similiar to what he went through.

Bear Hugger

Bear Hugger is very jolly, if you whip up a dictionary and look for the definition of "Positive" hes there.

Unlike Disco Kid, he probably hasn't gone through stuff worse than losing his money, he's shown to be very cheerful and jokes around often, even during the fight. But hes also seen taking great care to train properly, even with a bear.

But then TD hits him.. Like a paper plane. He climbs a mountain and gets a squirrel, then what? Same attitude as before. Changing altitudes once isn't enough to change this mans attitude.

But then again.. Him being connected to nature could be seen as him being distant from people and finding comfort in animals more, but thats a long stretch.

Great Tiger

Great Tiger is.. Confusing to say the least. In his contender cutscene hes shown flying, And thats not much substance unless you wanna think like a english teacher and overthink everything.

Hes shown to be very arrogant and bully Mac a little bit, not to the point where hes going off on him but some little banter. He also takes the fight seriously unlike someone else in the major circuit. (**cough** bear hugger **COUGH COUGH**) Probably because of the reason he gets congratulated to hell & back for teleporting around. (which is impressive, i wont lie)

Even though he might be a arrogant person, he puts in some real work, using his clones to confuse Mac, using his teleporting to his advantage, mans going all out.

And in his TD cutscenes, he literally trains his ass off to beat Mac.

But he isn't all serious, he messes with doc & Mac, brings a entire ass carpet.

Don Flamenco

One little glare at his contender cutscene and you can guess what hes about. Hes flirty, hes strong and most importantly: he has issues! Fill out all the rows on your bingo card!

Hes suave, hes full of sass, And hes cool while doing it. Except for when that toupe gets knocked off, after that point theres no going back for you. He goes all out and goes down in the most overdramatic way possible.

All that attention seeking could be him not getting enough attention as a child or simply needing validation to thrive.

His TD cutscene opens up another door for us however, he goes mad when he sees mac's face, this much of a extreme reaction could be him wanting the attention back on him instead of Mac.

Aran Ryan

This man is certainly not sane. Lets get that out of the way first. Hes hyperactive, constantly yelling, up to no good. Hes basically the definition of insane.

Also, its stated that he will do anything to win. ANYTHING. He wears horseshoes in his gloves for fucks sake! This could imply that he doesn't have anything other than boxing.

His insanity also could be the product of.. Say it with me.. Childhood Trauma! To act like that, you probably have to go through some stuff, maybe he could have developed it to protect himself from bullying.

His mishievious behavior could also be explained by said insanity mentioned above.

His TD is another can of worms for us, by anything, they meant it. He's stealing glowes and making them into a flail, which shows some hints of creativity in the worst way possible...

He's shown being booed by the crowd, yet he still continues his usual stuff, showing that he doesn't really care about anything except winning at this point.

Soda Popinski

Soda is.. Confusing, he doesn't have much of a pattern to his behavior unlike the other boxers, And thats saying something considering who we went through before him.

He's a shown using steroids, maybe he could not trust his own skills to carry him far or feel like he HAS to win. But instead of training his ass of he does some doping, And it clearly has a effect on him, he gets faster, stronger and more of a issue.

And have you seen this mans reaction when you knock away his soda bottle? He goes insane. He starts going all out on a kid, this could be the sign of a addiction or dependency..

Bald Bull

This man is mad, in all ways possible. He's seen having issues regarding his anger (that is justified.) and hes SO FUCKING RIGHT TO GET ANGRY!! He basically has zero privacy, in the first frame his first slideshow (contender) hes calm and not very bothered about the paparazzi, but he gets more angry as the paparazzi gets more hasty, resulting in him getting pissed off.

He clearly has low frustration tolerance, And is not having a good time managing it. His low frustration tolerance & anger could be him not getting help for his mental health when he was younger and it getting worse.

That gets proved even more when you look at his TD slideshow, he gets hit by a bull instead of getting therapy, how did he think of that but not, you know.. Getting help? It could be that he was raised to believe getting help was a sign of weakness.

Super Macho Man

He's practically in love with himself, hes rich, hes tan and hes flexing on us all.

His flexing could be how he wants attention,somewhat similiar to don flamenco. His TD slideshow implies that a bit more as well, seeing Mac getting all the attention he wants pisses him off a lot.

He's basically all for attention, his personality doesn't boil down to it since hes a bit suave as well and also trains a lot.

Mr Sandman

Sandman is.. Very mysterious, his contender slideshow shows him kicking ass, sort of implying hes very career focused.

His TD slideshow pushes this further bt having him wreck a building from anger, he 100% is focused on his career.

He could have trained all his life to become a champion.

The Black Family tree is weird as hell (not for the reasons you think)

Hi, so a few days ago I made a post talking about squibs in the Harry Potter world and how JK Rowling doesn’t make sense and in it I mentioned how Cygnus Black was part of a child marriage and that prompted me to scour the Black Family tree for more examples…

It is deeply weird. In more way than one.

First of all; Cygnus was not the only child to have children at 13. His father Pollux also started at 13. This isn’t like a trend in the Black Family; most have children in their 20s and 30s, and the pair have siblings who have children at reasonable ages. It is completely random. Cygnus has 3 children before he finishes Hogwarts so it wasn’t like an accident or anything. I could’ve excused Pollux as a one off thing because he has Walburga but then it’s 13 years before Cygnus is born… but then Cygnus goes and has 3 children before he’s 17 so I don’t know what to think. (Especially since Alphard appears to be older, so why wouldn’t they have Alphard get married instead?? Like why did JK Rowling need to do this?)

There’s also a weird, but not impossible, trend where a bunch of Black Family members just don’t get married or have kids. In a normal family I would say that it made enough sense, but this is a family who puts having Pureblood children above everything so it doesn’t really add up. There are 8 people on the family tree who don’t have children and don’t get disowned (Granted we can cross of Sirius I and Regulus who both die young so it’s more like 6). It’s oddly progressive of a family who also at the same time thinks children are so important that they need to marry off 13 year olds??

Moving away from the topic of marriage; there’s an event that happens in 1990-1992 that I like to call “The Purge of the Parents” where all the remaining Black Family Members who aren’t imprisoned or disowned just die. Like literally, only Narcissa is left. The 5 other living Black family members die in 2 years (3 in 1992). It’s not just the Black Family either, I know Abraxas Malfoy also dies in 1992. There was just this massive genocide of an entire generation within 2 years and it’s not mentioned in the story at all. And while I’m writing this I’m starting to think JK Rowling just really hates Narcissa (“Oh Narcissa is your life going well? Well I’m gonna kill your entire family for no reason. Also; tragedy for only Narcissa that the entire family just died out.. I get the feeling that it’s actually not… that terrible of a thing.

We got introduced to these characters at that age and the people playing them were already adults. So yeah, sorry but I think it's easy to see why most viewers would be uncomfortable with a more sexual scene of Mike and Will and it's not automatically homophobia, I think that would be the case with any of the kids since we got introduced to these characters when they were 12 and the actors were babies as well. funny you should say that...because i've used the nancy was 15-16 in season one argument (last tag) before while also saying that i understand why people find the sex part of their sexualities uncomfortable to discuss. and i wanna reiterate that, again, i totally understand that people feel like they've seen them grow up etc etc and that they still think of the actors themselves as children even thought they're not anymore.

i don't think it's all homophobia because like you said, people would probably feel the same about lucas and max and discussions of sex (i don't know if anyone is discussing that because there's much less discourse to have there and you can't argue that people are homophobic if they disagree with you) but i don't think it would be justified either. the "but we knew the characters when they were little" argument makes me think me of an ancient disney channel/abc show that old people and girl meets world fans who watched it for the first time in the 2010s will know, boy meets world (1993-2000). classic comic of age show, look at these kids. and eric in the back (he's fifteen).

they're eleven at the start of the show and then, what happens in any coming of age story happens, you guessed it...

they grow up. this is them in the later seasons, when the main characters are still in high school i think. they grow up, they talk about sex and about having sex at prom in season five and then they don't have sex right away because they figure it's not the right time yet or something like that, and then they have sex later and get married, the details don't matter. but my point is, who watches a show for five seasons, over years and years and gets upset at the main characters having sex because "this is crazy they used to be children"? isn't that the point of coming of age stories that cover multiple years or that focus on the latter years of adolescence, that they're not children forever and that at one point the characters "come of age" which usually includes their first sexual experiences?

i don't think the having sex part is particularly important in stranger things but also it doesn't have to be for it to be portrayed (see jonathan and nancy), teenagers have sex, it's just the way the world works. i'm not advocating for sex scenes of any kind especially because stranger things isn't a show that features a lot of sex in general, the only "explicit" sex scene being nancy and steve in season one with cuts to barb dying, but i genuinely don't think the duffers would have any qualms about portraying teenage sexuality in general with the party. if they did, they wouldn't have included erica threatening lucas to tell dustin what she found under his bed (it wasn't the communist manifesto) and they wouldn't have had max looking at a shirtless steve for an amount of time that's supposed to make the audience laugh. it's been 7 years. if they do a time jump, the babies will be about 17, played by actors who will all be around 20, the age natalia was when filming season one. the characters are teenagers, babies grow up. it happens to the best of us. i get why people would find it uncomfortable and maybe i would find it uncomfortable too but i wouldn't be scandalized. the duffers had no problem having a child actor portray everything will goes through in seasons one and especially two, i really feel like sex is fine and...not traumatizing or hard to watch compared to every single thing will's gone through lol. and again, i'm not even expecting them to have sex lmao, but i wouldn't cry myself to sleep if they revealed that everyone in the party actually knows what sex is.

also there's my little head-canon that she often used to talk to su's teachers about her absenteeisms instead of toph bc the last one had no time for that. lin literally had to become a mother figure to su and what did she get for that? bitter lonely woman who only cares about herself and "no wonder tenzin broke up with you" that was really cruel even not counting that she jumped on the two large airships just for the chance for his family to be safe.

now about linzin: we got used to think that they broke up because lin didn't want kids. but what if she simply doesn't able? i mean she has a lot of stress at work or may had some trauma in childhood. also what if she became barren while protecting little korra with tenzin. this actually has sense, just think about it:

- korra is 17 and jinora is 12 in book 1, so lin and tenzin broke up when korra was about 3-5 years old.

- their relationships got a little worse after aang’s death: crime increased in the city, they had lots of stress at works, they start seeing each other much more rarely and at that times they were too tired but still supported and help each other (like old times).

- knowing her temper lin'd probably go with the person she loved the most to help and protect him at the mission + uncle sokka.

- it's unlikely that tenzin would leave her right after the incident, they prolly have been dating a couple months or years since that.

- it really explains why they hardly spoke all those years: he gave her fake hope he wouldn't leave her, then ran to the some "i want to be the mother of an air nation" girl.

- tenzin felt guilty about lin at the same time split between his wishes and duties.

- pema could remind him younger version of lin (both have dark hair with bang and bright green eyes) / tenzin try to make pema his home lin only favorites can see => in both ways he tried to create at least an illusion about the days of happiness when aang was alive and there for him and he and lin were young dumb and happy.

- seeing how tenzin treats pema in book 1 episode 1 only directs me to the thoughts about his trauma. he really often had to see lin was hurt bc of her job, family and (if she was there with him protecting korra) red lotus

in that way scene where korra calls lin a bitter lonely women gets so much worse bc she literally started act (not became) like that by protecting her.

summary: What happpens when Damian Wayne, son of the infamous Bruce Wayne visits Gotham City High School where he has to be all the things that he despises. Being social with people outside his family, listening to boring ass teachers talk about things he already knew when he was 8 years old and the old teenage drama cliché which he cannot espace from anymore.

Bruce sighs "It is best for you son.I know that it's hard leaving your comfort zone, but I believe that this school will teach you something that I can't"

"Tt, like what?" Damian mumbles. "You'll see." Bruce says as he parks infront of the school and turns to Damian.

"Have a great first day at school son. Alfred will pick you up later. And please give it a try I know you'll like it" Bruce says smiling.

"We'll see and goodbye father." Damian says and graps his backpack and leaves the car.

Damian was still pretty pissed about the fact that he has to breath the same air as how he calls "immature hormone controlled freaks",but made his way into the school.

As he wandered around the halls many students layed their eyes on him. Boys and girls. The Boys knew who he was and asumed al types of stuff about him. Like for example that he is dumb and will simply buy himself through and the girls were mostly impressed by his looks.

"Look at his dark raven hair and his beautiful green eyes!" and "OMG! He is literaly perfect" where some of the comments Damian heared as he walked down the hall to his new and first classroom.

Before he could enter someone rushed and bumped into his right shoulder. "I am so sorry!I shluldn't have run to the classroom without looking" The person says looking for Damian to accept her apology. "Tt, I don't care.Get out of my way" Damian says glancing at her and enters the classroom silently.

Y/n shudders "Wow, this dude literally gave me goosebumps.." she said while entering the classroom a couple seconds after him.

As she sat down and looked straight ahead she saw that the unknown boy is standing in front of the white board. "Oh is he knew? Yeah he might be, but I don't care" Y/N thinks to herself as she looks around the classroom.She also notices the the other students are mumbling and gossiping about something. As the teacher arrived everyone went silent and sat up straight.

Damian had to force his tiny smirk into a frown again,because it was tol funy to see how a middle aged person whp just tesches some kids unnecessary things scares them so much.

"Good morning class I hope you all had an amazing weekend! This week we are starting by welcoming our new student Damian Wayne!

The classrooms was filled with applause and another round of giggling girls. "Whats his deal?" Y/N thought to herself.

"Damian would you like to introduce yourself to the class? I think we are alm dying to get to know you more." The teacher says while smiling at him.

Damian sighs and replies "I am Damian Wayne,17 years old snd I hope that I will get out of this place as soon as possible."

Y/N glances at Damian not underatanding what all the fuss is about. "Who is he even? Like I get it he has pretty eyes and stuff but hisnpersonality destroys everything." She thinks as she does some math exercises due to an upcoming math tests

Damian as always knows when someone is looking at him even in the slightest bit, because of his training as an assasin and can't help, but notices that the solutions of all math exercises are wrong.

"I think I got it.." Y/N mumbles as she wrote down another false solution.

"You don't" he scoffs while writing down the right answer to the problem.

She looks at him in confusion. "Huh?"

"Every single answer you wrote down is wrong. These are simple exercises how can't you not know how to solve 'em?" He asks as he loons directly into her eyes.

"Why do you care? I just struggle with math I'm great in all the other subjects." She spat at him and looked down at her answers realising how bad she is at math.

"You could at least try." Damian scoffs as he brings his attention back to the lesson while Y/N uses all her energy trying to solve at elast one problem.

Damian seems to notice and scoffs again roling his eyes.

Class ended and Damian packed his backpack and was ready to leave.

Y/N was alrady leaving when she bumped into her Math Teacher Mr.Smith.

Damian was curious about what they were saying and sneakily went to the scene.

"Oh I'm sorry Y/N are you hurt?" He asks her "No, it's alright.." she says while trying to not look at him. "Y/N are you nervous about the math exam?" he says while looking at her. She wanted to say, no yell that she was not only nervous she was scared of failing again and being met with her dissapointed father at home who will only belive less in her if she fails again.

"I'm not nervous Mr.Smith have a nice day" she said trying to smile before she ran down the hall so that he would not see her tears streaming down her cheecks.

Mr. Smith sighs and turns back to his classroom.Damian saw everything happen and he just knows that slmething is foul.

"Should I follow her? Maybe I should." After a little while of debating in his thoughts he decided to follow her just in case something worse happened.

There he saw her curled up on the ground, shaking in fear. "I don't wanna be a disspointment..not again" she mumbles not noticing thst Damian was infront of her.

He kneeled down and looked her straight in the eyes. "Whats going on?" He said withoit any emotions

Y/N stopped shaking and looked at him.

"Why are you still here? Class is over and it's none of yoir damn buisness! Stop trying to make me feel dumb!" She yells as she stands up and walks away.

Damian knew that emotional people were dramatic thats why he hated them. But he followed her and grabbed her arm. "Calm down and tell me what happened." He sighed. "Please"

Y/N didn't know why but all her thoights on leaving and even running away from her life just disappreaed after he said that. She turned around and wiped away her tears.

"I'm failing math and I don't wanna disspoint my father... and I'm scared because I'm also going to fail the math test which will make my dad not only disappointed but also mad at me..I'm just scared." She took a deep breath and finaly took thencourage to look at him.

Damian went completly silent. "Do you fear that yoir father is going to hurt you?" She nods.

"Ugh. I'm going to tutor you."

"WHAT?" She screams earning a death stare from Damian.

"I'm sorry, but what? Are you for real? You don't have to." She says shyly.

"I know that. Just sccept my help. And after you passed the exam we are going to talk with your father" Damian replies.

"Tomorrow at my place." He says while leaving.

"Where do you live?" She yells after him

Oh and another thing, forgive me if this rant is too long, but I’m sick and tired of those stupid ass memes of Steven Universe and Jack Horner about Steven screaming and Crying for Jack Horner to change into a good person, mischaracterizing the hell out of Steven. It’s so damn annoying. Most of these people most likely have not seen or watched the damn Steven Universe movie and or show.

Steven was less of a pushover when he grew into a teenager in Steven Universe Future. Heck I don’t even think he was much of a pushover to begin with. Steven just likes being nice to people which eventually caused him so much stress due to his constant need of wanting to fix things and not wanting to end up alone.

HE WAS A CHILD. AND EVEN THEN HES STILL A CHILD IN FUTURE! AROUND 16-17 YEARS OLD. YALL ACT LIKE THERES SOMETHING INHERENTLY WRONG IN TRYING TO SEE THE BEST IN PEOPLE. THE REASON WHY STEVEN SAW GOOD IN SPINEL IS BECAUSE HE SAW THAT SHE WAS HURTING THANKS TO HIS MOM ABANDONING HER FOR 6,000 YEARS!

And no Steven didn’t forgive the “space Nazis.”(kinda find it funny when people call the diamonds that and claim that Rebecca’s telling is to forgive our bigoted oppressors/Nazis when Rebecca themself IS JEWISH). He never completely forgave the diamonds. When they wanted him to come live in the palace with them, it made him extremely uncomfortable and he also felt a bit on edge around them when he went to go see them a second time.

Not to mention he almost shattered white diamond by smashing her head into a pillar when he was controlling her because of the fact that he wanted revenge for White diamond pulling Steven’s Gem out. And no a hug didn’t “fix everything” either at the end of Steven Universe future. When Steven went back to normal after being corrupted her didn’t “get better” he was a bit emotional even though he calmed down a bit. Like literally we get it you hate Steven and or the show Steven Universe in general. You want a cookie or something?

Hey, wait how did Blitzo find out where Stolas lived? Unless Stolas is still in his childhood home, which I highly doubt, then how in the world did he find him after all those years?

Why is there a rehab place in Hell? I guess for hell born, sure can't exploit imps and succubus to work if they're too high to function. But why have drugs in the first place? if imps and other hell born can move through rings then they can go to the ring where all the sinners are and get drugs. Unless the sinners get human drugs and hell born aren't affected by human drugs the same way. do they have their own hell made drugs? Or do they only get drugs from earth? Like I'm assuming Barbies job was smuggling earth drugs into hell.  

So, do sinners also have a rehab center? If so, why? The sloth ring is where I'm assuming most of the medical stuff is, but sinners can't travel through rings. are there small sloth hospitals in the other rings like emergency rooms and the big hospitals are in sloth? Why is there only one ring for medical things? sounds... “practical” lol. Could you imagine certain parts of the country having hospitals and everywhere it's just emergency rooms?   

Talking about blizto and Stolas being dads  

Like let's be honest Biltzo will drop anything to be with Loona when she needs it, but Stolas wouldn’t do that for Octivia. He would try to do both or tell Via to wait and he’ll “be right back” stolas is a bad dad. He flirts and lollygags with blizto when Via is missing. He'll flirt with Blitzo and bring him along to daddy daughter time at Loo Loo Land instead of giving his daughter his full attention for 5 minutes like he promised her. Stolas literally got kidnapped and tortured by an egotistical cowboy and Biltzo literarily sent his two lackeys to save Stolas because Loona needed a widdle shot. Arguably what's more important, saving literal royalty or getting your adult daughter a flu shot? Via is a child, she's like 16 or 17 and Loona is 23 or so and Blitzo has been shown to be a more capable father to his adoptive adult than Stolas’ literal own blood egg daughter. Stella may not care about or ignore her, but she doesn't carry out empty promise to her daughter (I think I'm shooting in the dark here) Stolas may be trying but he has a long way to go. In spring broken Loona left Blitzo’s sight for like 5 minutes to talk to Vortex and Blitzo freaked out. Octivia when missing for who knows how long and Stolas didn’t notice till Blitzo called him. In the time it took Via to pack a bag, leave the castle, leave whatever ring they live in, go to pride, find IMP, find the right floor, sneak past the shenanigans, find the book, find the spell, open the portal and wonder L.A in the time it took for blizto freak out and to get the courage to call Stolas in the first place. If Moxxie didn’t see the light from the spell she would have been missing for even longer because Loona was definitely not going to tell anyone Octivia was there to begin with. ALSO! Stolas wasn’t even the one to find her in the end Loona brought her to him. I understand it was for Loona and Octivia to bond or whatever but like I wouldn’t take parent and child relationship advice from Loona she abuses Blitzo, undermines his feeling about adopting her, isn't the least bit appreciative of Bliztos care. My guy gave you a place better than the pound to live, a phone, a job, and the only room in his apartment while he sleeps on the couch. I'm not saying Loona has to worship the ground Blizto walks on. Just because someone helps you out of a bad situation you don’t have to hand your ass to them but what you shouldn’t do is beat the shit out of them when they hand you slight criticism. That is all I'm saying.
