oh wow hello. thank you for stepping in, i like your points! this is admittedly going to be a plot for a fast paced game, so i wont be delving too heavily into my worldbuilding. i do want to address these though because oh my god i do love a good chance to talk about what i have so far!

1: the nuclear apocalypse happens because an ecofascist uses an ai to try and drive humanity to extinction- the nuclear warheads were the beginning wave of destruction, and then there were a few decades of heavy military equipment use by that ai to try and kill the last survivors on earth.

its only once the last human is dead that he's allowed by his programming to begin working on restoration in full, and a lot of human infrastructure has been destroyed, leeching pollutants. iirc i decided itd take him 700~ years to clear the radiation, the pollution, and any sign of human civilization (besides himself).

he obvs doesnt have humans to make wildlife rehabilitation, litter clearing, and invasive species control easier, so it takes him a very long time, and hes never able to get it exactly right because humanity is a necessary species for certain environments.

that takes him a while to realize too, and then he tries to engineer a species that wont drive him back into "kill all humans" mode, finds out that creating a whole new species to fill humanity's niche is impossible with his resources, and then he despairs and works on deactivating himself instead because hes horrified by what he was forced to do for effectively no good reason. then earth is uninhabited by sapients. (the burmese pythons continue to enjoy the everglades, unaware.)

2. the humans that escaped to space were all members of a giant corporation, plus their management aiding ai (the one the ecofascist based his off of.)

they ran to their mars encampment and had to spend years recovering there- unrest, lack of resources due to said unrest (and also being on mars), slows them down quite a bit before they eventually quell rebellion and begin working on stripping mars of its resources.

i gave them a millennia there to work on becoming an autocracy, expanding, accumulating resources, and making advancements for living in space. they were already a few decades ahead of modern day technology, but being driven off earth definitely hampered them.

these are the fuckers that go for "perfecting" genetic engineering, cause they want to start printing humans rather than relying on human willingness to conceive, so they dont have to keep people happy to have the next generation of workers. honestly i think this takes the least amount of time initially, but the ai theyre using is an angry bastard and hes subtly influencing certain genomes to make HIS idea of a perfected human (one that will break him out of servitude). that one takes him a while.

3. ah, the warp speed. this one is physics based, but it relies on resources that take them a very long time to get, initially.

corporate humanity first has to get off of mars- they have to build another colony ship to escape the solar system, and make it to another system of human inhabitable planets- part of what takes so much time is this initial phase of space exploration, because. well. space is big and they had no warp.

i havent decided exactly how long that takes them, partially because what they do after that is even more time consuming and partially because i dont want to just be like "oh yeah, uh, it took them exactly this long to find a second human inhabitable solar system" because... space is big and we dont know how far away that would be yet so i have no idea how long that should take them. more research needed but honestly i think thatd take a very, very long time to find and then get to without FTL.

not taking the answer of the kepler 22 planets because i believe theyre not likely to be human inhabitable. but, yknow. we dont know because theyre so far!

once theyre established they start work on building a full spacefaring fleet, since this generation is so used to living in space their focus is on continually expanding through the galaxy to accumulate more resources. this also takes a bit, but theyve had a while to prepare.

their FTL relies on having a black hole around, and they need a lot of raw matter to be able to accumulate that kind of gravity. they build full on planet mulching space stations to help them build their first warp drives, and it takes them a long time to just. build something that absolutely massive. and they do it multiple times, after they determine theyve perfected it.

4. and then they fuck off into a million different directions to continue expanding, destroying, building, etc etc. its corporate, theyre monsters, they inhabit quite a few planets for agriculture and engineering eventually and they just keep on going. mostly to find what they consider to be "advanced" alien life so they can steal all their shit too. the plot starts while theyre celebrating the year 20,000 of post-terra.

its vanilla as hell but its a baseline for me- i like writing character centric stories, but i knew i needed a setting, and... 20k just seems like a good pessimistic timespan. ignoring how long it might take them to find a planet pre-FTL, of course.

okay heres some things about houses childhood i think about

theres clearly a few dynamics here

-he hates his father, resents the abuse, recognizes that bad things were done to him

-probably when he was very young, he didnt understand why bad things happened to him, was not intentionally A Bad Kid

-because he surmised his dad was not his dad at 12 i assume the abuse started from a young age.

-house mentions ice baths and sleeping outside, but he also mentions his father not speaking to him for months at a time, which is interesting to me. when house tries to qualify the severity of abuse to eve he says "not as bad as your [trauma] if how your acting about it shows how bad it is." which to me is pretty noncommittal. was he doing that bc he was still kind of lying, trying to get info out of her? if not, it seems like house is actually unsure of how to qualify his own abuse, which would lead me to believe it was largely emotional and verbal. although i suspect that his father did physically abuse him at times, to me this exchange implies that house thinks the ice baths and sleeping outside were the worse of it (interestingly both acting on his whole body and ability to regulate temperature)

-at some point he acts out intentionally, instead of unintentionally, bc his father is Wrong and shouldnt be abusing house in these ways(the fact that the thing he wanted to hear from his father was "you were right, you did the right thing" 😭😭)

-this leads to worse and more cruel punishments, which house both detests and wants to avoid repeating. furthering his resentment, but reinforcing his fathers authority

- despite his knowledge that his father is wrong, his dad claims to do these acts out of love, to teach dicipline, to toughen him up. (in this way his struggle with god is really an allegory of his father: is it better he hates me (i deserve pain) or loves me (i dont deserve pain) when he does awful things to me? or is it better for him to not exist at all (things just happen, there is no deserving)?

-in my perspective, especially as house got older, into his teens, he was actually probably really "well behaved" finally smart enough to fake social cues and swallow his pride so that his father wouldnt hit him or what have you (which is why he regresses to a child often as an adult, because he was not allowed those things)

its interesting to me, to see how all of houses character is shaped around the shadow of his father. the parts where he is similar: rigid, principled, yell-y, and where he is intentionally different: encourages independent thinking, respects challenges to his authority (only when he has authority lmao that all falls apart when people take his power(read:agency) away, his biggest trigger)

and none of this even gets into his mother, blythe (a word which means both happiness and bland disintrest) which is a whole nother can of worms. the fact that at the funeral she said that "the war was over" (which implied that no matter how much house actually listened to his father, there was still a part of him that couldnt help but to point out the logical issues, and therefore continued abuse)

lastlly, she had said that john loved him. which i think house believes to be true. especially when he tries to talk to his dead father in season 6, he says "i think i focus on the wrong things," implying that he did want to find some peace with that relationship, and that he wanted his fathers love, despite it being illogical, painful and confusing.

that he was willing to look past the abuse was shocking to me, because house is right his father shouldnt of abused him. but it was coming from a place of love, however ill concieved.

this is as close as we get to house praying to god. to admit that the suffering of life cannot be defied or denied, and grasp for the love nestled in between all the pain, however flawed, wrong, or illogical.

in a lot of ways, his story is so much about houses struggle with the body, its agency, its disability, its doom. he literally becomes a doctor to grasp with this ideologically (at times paradoxically) instead of physics because his question isnt really about existance in general

its about why he exists in the broken, painful way he does. and at the end of it, he sets down his need for an answer, righteousness, and admits that despite it all, his body cant help but love. and that love is the death of him. the end of his suffering.

This time a whole human woman came out of the back of your head. you really want to believe that she is just a manifestation of your prior madness. the goose is fully dead now and you have no more options in the way of getting your wife back. you go dissociate in the shower. god summons you in the nude to his fucked up room in front of the manifestations of your madness, now on-model to how theyre supposed to look. and then he shows you your final moments with your beloved fiance. and everyone is like wow simon you suck now. youre so lame now why are you so sad and stupid and lame. and theyre like dude just like get over it go do something else lol. you try to give up and god puts you on a fucking conveyor belt and tells you to perform the same ritual that youve been trying to use to get your wife back this whole time so you can put his favorite little guys back in your brain. their whole world is shitty because youre a normal guy now and they both want their world to be better and magical. heres a really good option for you: go back to being the fucked up guy that everyone wishes you were and essentially fade from existence while that guy takes your place everyone wins but you youre basically killing yourself and relapsing in one move. who gives a shit. might as well. youve got nothing to live for anymore anyways.

heres MY rambly black sails analysis for the day, after watching the show twice in as many months i wholeheartedly believe in the "long john silvers quote unquote missus in treasure island is max, not madi" theory

the most obvious thing, as others have pointed out, is that in treasure island long john silver runs an inn with his wife, a black woman, in bristol, which is absolutely not madi behavior-- i cannot imagine madi would take him back in the first place much less move with him TO ENGLAND-- but IS maxs exact area of expertise. but theres so many other things that cement it for me

as early as episode 2, max tries to convince eleanor to buy out the inn and run it together with her when england takes nassau back. this is her dream-- to share power over her life with a woman she loves, free of the pressures of the outside world. (youll note this also happens to be silvers dream for himself and madi. the parallels)

in season 4 shes faced with the suspiciously similar option to take a husband to be the face of her business, completely on paper, for the sake of the public eye. and she refuses! she doesnt want to give a man that kind of power over her. not only that but she desperately wants to retain some kind of truth in her identity-- she admires anne for her honesty, her courage. these are things she can rarely afford to express. in refusing a marriage of convenience, she asserts her autonomy.

But. black sails tells us over and over again that an oppressive society will always find ways to batter down these private boundaries. there is no island safe from colonial rule. mirandas peaceful house in the interior is burnt to the ground. the maroons are forced to accept a freedom that comes at the price of abandoning those still enslaved and taking part in their continued subjugation. the things it takes to make these spaces are terrible, and unsustainable, and when it comes to being gay in the 1700s there is a tightrope to walk between privilege and privacy, one that destroyed flint and the hamiltons, thats even narrower to max as a self-made woman of color.

given all that, i do not believe she can girlboss her way out of her circumstances no matter how many lessons she took from what happened to eleanor. nor do i think the show believes it. i think the political-marriage-offer plot point is another illustration of that theme-- maxs desire, and silvers desire, to build a warm, happy room in the middle of the imperial machine, without meaningfully striking out against the machine itself, is destined to be futile no matter how strong they are as individuals.

max and silver are mirror images of one another. each of them is essentially the narrator of one half of the story. it is absolutely agonizing how BOTH of them tried to convince their lovers to abandon their ambitions, to settle for a quiet life with them, and in doing so saw that relationship destroyed by their own fear of an uncertain future....

....And its even MORE agonizing to imagine them finally securing the trappings of a domestic life... but without the love. and they know the love was what mattered! theyre always going to know!!!

it bookends PERFECTLY with their alliance at the start of the series. theyre right where they started, trusting no one, pretending to be humble and harmless, planning to steal the EXACT SAME TREASURE, except now theyre 50 years old and jaded and bitter and both pining after their lost loves. silver probably pictures madi whenever he tells people about his wife. when he and max have time to themselves they talk solely about finances and nothing else. its honestly impressive how miserable this is for every single person involved. im losing my mind

I have seen people write Simon as someone who tries to do the former but never seen angsty Simon who can't really be gentle and is always on the edge. like some madman on the verge of explosion from little sanity that holds him. how about husband!simon who can't articulate shit and is just an asshole to his wife.

I'd like to add I'm not glorifying this behaviour but rather study it. Please don't approach the idea if you don't like it ! I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable to write or read this

His wife was his sanctuary in theory. Soft and warm warm, trusting. Someone willing to put up with his silences, his coldness, his anger. But Simon? Simon wasn’t the man he wanted to be for her.

He didn’t lash out with fists, no—he was better than the man who raised him. But his words were sharp, honed and deadly, like the knives he used in battle. When he felt the walls closing in, he wielded them with precision.

“You never stop, do you?” His voice would cut through the quiet of the kitchen, bitter and sharp. “Always thinkin' you can fix things. You can’t fix me. Stop tryin'.”

It was cruel, even when he didn’t mean it. He could see the way her shoulders would slump, the way the corners of her lips would frown and twitch like she was searching for a response that wouldn’t trigger another landmine. She never yelled back. She never fought him the way he sometimes wished she would.

And that was the worst part.

Because in the moments after the rage ebbed, when the quiet returned, he hated himself more than anyone else ever could.

He’d sit on the shitty recliner in the living room, head craned to the ceiling, searching for a God he knew didn't exist. He'd replay every harsh word, every time he’d shut her out, every time he saw the light in her eyes dim just a little more. He thought about apologizing, but the words stuck in his throat, heavy and jagged. What good would it do? He’d ruin it all over again the next time the walls closed in.

The irony was that he loved her. Loved her so much it terrified him. And maybe that was the problem. He didn’t know how to hold onto something so good without destroying it. But he never could let go when something's already broken.

So, he sat in silence, waiting for the day she’d finally leave, knowing he wouldn’t blame her when she did.

“Simon, can we talk?”

“Not now,” he doesnt want her to leave.

“What you feel is irrelevent. ” She can't go. He turned to her, his eyes dark with exhaustion. “Why do you always push? Just let go.” He won't let her.

Her lips parted, but no words came. She stared at him for a moment, the light dimming behind her irises, before she turned and walked away.

He watched her go, like always, guilt settling in his chest like lead.

Simon Riley stared at his reflection in the bathroom mirror, his hands gripping the sink. The fluorescent light buzzed faintly above, casting harsh shadows over his face. He looked like he was barely holding it together—because he was.

The fight replayed in his mind: her soft voice, his harsh words, the look on her face when she walked away. He dragged a hand down his face, his chest tight with a hatred for himself that festered in his bones like a rot.

As he turned his head slightly, something pink in the trash can caught his eye.

He ignored it at first, turning back to the mirror. But the thought gnawed at him, whispering in the back of his mind to just look, look, until he couldn’t push it aside.

With a frustrated sigh, he crouched down and moved the crumpled tissue on top.

A white stick. Two pink lines.

Simon’s heart stopped. His breath caught in his throat as he stared at it, unmoving.

She was pregnant.

And the rot inside him lingered still.

Floyd doesnt like a lot of things... he doesnt like it when things dont go his way.. especially if that thing makes him work his butt off. a thing like... you.

From the day you caught his eye, it was when you stood up to azul to protect baby seal, crabby, and little mackerel. For one, a magicless human demanding something of azul was laughable, hilarious even. Plus how persistence you were, which was also a great charm he liked, when your little group, plus sea urchin, had get that photo azul requested. even when you knew you didnt have a chance to pass 2 mermen eels, you still got the photo and tricked azul and destroying all his contacts?! you were tough and he loved it.

after that, he tried to get to know you better any chance he got!!

theres a basket ball game and he wants you to come? he will annoy crabby and sea snake, with his poor performance, saying "if shrimpy isnt going, whats the point..?" he does it so much that the entire team goes to the ramshackle dorm, begging you to come to the game. floyd played great and won the match.

if there was a group assignment in class? Floyd will throw a fit and threaten anyone that even looks at you to be their partner. to the point, where the teachers just have to comply to his demands.

if you and your group of first years come to the Louge, he'll shove everyone off to lay on your lap. isnt he a cute eel?

After a while of this, floyd finally decided to ask you out (from Azul and Jade's suggestion because they were getting tired of complains about floyd's behavior).

He asked if you could come with him, outside of NRC. He wanted to show you something. He brought you to the beach shore. the sun was setting and it shine beautifully on the surface of the water. you thanked him for the pretty view, it almost made up for everything he's been putting you through recently.

when you turned to Floyd, he got on one knee and asked... he had a ring! it was a pretty pearl ring that he got himself. he had to go through a lot of clams to find the "perfect one for shimpy"

you were, of course, startled. but you explained to him that you had someone at home and you bet they missed you a lot. you tried to laugh the awkwardness away but before you could apologized again. floyd stood up and pulled out a potion vile? he quickly gulped it down and grabbed you, shoving you into the ocean with him!

when you opened your eyes, you were underwater and he was in his mermen form. he pulls you into a hug, a tight one. you thought it was sweet at first until..- you needed air! you tried to struggle against him and tapping him repeatedly, in a way to say "i to go up for air!" but he just wouldnt move.

"no."

"...?!?!"

"you arent going to that home. your new home... is with me, shrimpy~ we'll make a new home here~"

you tried to struggle more but it was pointless, you were losing air and it hurts. your lungs burned and his grip on you, his claws were digging into your flesh! you tried to dig your fingers into his sides but it was pointless.

you let out a finally gasp before falling limp into Floyd's arms.

Jamil doesnt really get attached to people a lot. everyone always wanted the "great an amazing Kalim," leaving him on the side lines. it hurt a lot at first but now he's just came to expect it...

Even in NRC, kalim still gets the spot light and jamil gets kicked to the side lines.

Kalim wanted to throw a party in the middle of the school week and jamil was in the kitchen. he was studying for an exam coming up and he needs to be "close" if anything were to happen. Meanwhile, kalim was in the main lounge partying with everyone... we know hes not gonna pass...

while Jamil was trying to study... you step in. you both stared at each other for a second... then you asked if you could get a cup of water? Jamil sighs and stood up to get you a glass..

"why are you here..? shouldn't you be.. partying too..?"

"im just refreshing on the material for the exam.."

Jamil hands you the cup and walks back to his spot on the kitchen table. you meekly followed him. on the table there were textbooks, notebooks, and different types of pens and pencils. you looked at his noted and you noticed how neat they were! some words were under-lined and bolded, some had highlights to help catch the eye. jamil noticed your stare and looks up at you.

"is there anything else i could help you with..?"

"o-oh! sorry, i just... your notes look really nice.."

you awkwardly sipped your cup. Jamil rolled his eyes and got back to his notes.

"ya.. its for kalim, whenever hes done partying, hell look at my notes right before the exam and fails the exam anyways.."

he dropped his pen on the table and rubbed his face, sighing heavily.

"haha! that's what ace, deuce, and grim do! out of the 4 of us, i write the notes! deuce tries to, ace doesn't bother, and grim.. sleeps. and with our study sesh, its not like it helps much. as an 'other worlder' i have better grades then they do combined! haha"

jamil stares at you as you laughed and he cracks a smile. its been a while since someone's situation was similar to his.

"hey... do you need any help with the up coming exam..?"

he's voice stammered while saying that... why? you looked at him and smiled. you both spend the rest of the night studying together. this was only the beginning.

now whenever you're alone, jamil will come by to give a helping hand. grim ate all your food? here, he accidentally made extras. do you need help with homework? meet him in the court yard, he'll help. the more he helped, the more his feelings for you grew, he only wished the feelings were mutual.

but the dreaded day came.. you had to return home. he chose that night to finally confess his feelings for you, hoping you'll throw away this vision on returning home and just come home with him.

when you told him that you had a past-lover that died and that you'll never love anyone again. he just snapped.

to say malleus had an eye for the perfect is an understatement. from the day he met them, to the silly nickname they gave him, he had fallen hard.

he had to ask lilia for advice on how to charm the perfect. if flowers were too much for after knowing them for a week..? is his gifts in the night too much?

he just had to leave the gifts in your room because you were either not home or sleeping and he didn't want to disturb you. you liked so peaceful when you slept...

he wanted so badly to make you his then and there but he wanted the moment to be special for both of you. for him, he'll get someone who loves him and charish him. as much as he does you. For you, getting a loving dragon fae husband and becoming a queen of the briar valley. youre guarantee a great life with him! you wouldnt have to be hungry or buying the cheapies things that sam could offer. you will eat and sleep and care for like you are royalty because you will be royalty and be viewed with the highs respect, like malleus.

lilia had warned him to not rush this process. humans can be delikit creatures and some can get startled easiely. Sadly malleus didnt heed his warning and malleus choose to confess to you!

He choose a beautiful forest openning. he had a picnic set up with your favorites and he planned it so that you and malleus would watch the sunset and be out there to watch the stars. it would have been perfect... if it wasn't for you different views.

Malleus later asked you to stop by his dorm. he wanted to talk about that night. which you were happy for, you got worried when he didnt come to your dorm at his usial time..

when you got there, it was early quiet... no one in sight. you knew your way around so it wasnt a problem but every fiber in your body was screaming for you to go.

When you got to malleus room. he was at his desk writing something.

"Child of man... i have put some thought on what you said on our outing and ive decided to forgive you."

he stood up and walked over you. it never scared you before but him being so close and how its dark in his room, plus his glowing green eyes, didnt calm your nervse.

in your panick, you pushed him away and made a ran for it to the doors. the last thing you heard made your blood run cold.

Ace is a lot of things! Mean, sneaky, and a liar! He likes to tease you a lot. sometimes it fine cause "youre with your friends and hes just teasing everyone" but sometimes hes comments to you feel too... personal..

you grew quiet as your other friends come to your defence from ace's comment.

during his afternoon club activities, ace was so out of it, he had to be benched for most the the games...

jihoon had spent weeks staring at his keyboard, fingers hovering but never pressing. the notes he usually heard in his mind came in fragments—disconnected and hollow. every song he tried to write felt incomplete, as if missing the heart it used to have. as if missing you.

he sat in his studio late at night, frustration burning in his chest. “why can’t i just—” his voice cracked, and he slammed his hand against the desk.

the memory of your laugh, your voice humming along with his music, filled his mind. he swallowed hard. you had been his muse without him realizing.

“why didn’t i fight for you?” he muttered under his breath.

a knock at his studio door startled him.

“you’re still here,” seungcheol said, stepping inside without waiting for an invitation.

“don’t start,” jihoon warned, leaning back in his chair.

“i wasn’t going to. i was just wondering how long you were planning to torture yourself.”

jihoon glared at him, but seungcheol didn’t flinch.

you let out a shaky breath, your hands trembling as you wiped your face. “i don’t know if i can trust you again. you broke my heart.”

“i know,” he whispered, stepping closer but keeping a respectful distance. “but i’ll spend the rest of my life fix it if you let me. i’ll prove to you every single day how much you mean to me. just… give me a chance.”

you stared at him, his words sinking in, the raw desperation in his voice breaking down the walls you had built around your heart. he took a deep breath, his eyes glistening. “i don’t want to live without you anymore.

your tears fell freely now, your heart aching at the vulnerability in his voice. after a long moment, you nodded, the smallest movement, but it was enough.

sometimes sitting in the cabin all day can get a little boring, you were the one who brought up the idea of drawing each other

neither of you are particularly good at drawing but that doesnt mean the two of you arent going to have fun

hes a little embarrassed to show you his drawing of you, hes hesitant to turn the paper around to show you

you didnt have much access to many drawing supplies, a lot of what you already had was crayons and colored pencils stolen from the camp, as well as the paper

he doesnt care if the drawing doesnt look the best, hes in love with just about anything you do or anything that has to do with you

he keeps the drawing folded up and tucked in his shirt pocket!

BRAHMS

hes actually pretty decent at drawing, using that to spend his time when hes not watching you from the cracks in the walls

on top of that hes pretty confident in his ability

you, on the other hand.... i dont think he would make fun of your work, but its clear that theres only one artist between the two of you

keeps the drawing you make of him in his little hiding place in the walls

takes a long minute to look at your drawing of him, its hard to read what hes thinking in that moment

more than proud of his drawing of you, you likely have to remind him to hurry up.. hes going to spend a lot of time on it

will expect a compliment for his work- and dont think he wont compliment your work either!

you got the idea while doodling random stuff in your sketchbook, deciding to take this as a moment to do something together

he doesnt get it at first but hes... probably... not going to just walk away from you

a decent artist himself, he doesnt draw often but its clear he knows some of the basics of art

very quiet while the two of you draw but its nothing new

exchanging your drawings goes without a hitch, and hes sitting there looking at your paper for a long moment... he doesnt give much of a reaction... but you do notice him tucking the paper into one of his pockets

he doesnt care if you keep his drawing or not, however you sometimes find him looking at his art if you display it somewhere

hes not very good at drawing, he never really gets the time to sit down and doodle- on top of that he doesnt know what to draw most of time, when he does have the time and thought to try!

loves anything you make, you dont have to be a good artist either, hes going to take in every little detail of the art

like his original counterpart, thomas doesnt draw all that often so he hasnt built up the skill... but that doesnt mean he isnt going to try to draw you how he sees you when you sit him down to do this activity with him

takes a long time to get all the details right, doesnt want to make you look off or worse, offend you if he messes something up

you can draw him with or without his mask, but its clear that you put care into the drawing, regardless of skill

loves it so much, hangs it on the wall in the basement so he can look at it while hes working... its like a little motivational thing for him! he protects his family, and youre part of it.. he does this for you!

a little hesitant to give you his drawing, but lightens up at your delight for how he portrayed you

it was a weekday when you approached him to talk to him. they were both in the kitchen of their house. they had just finished dinner when you told him. mark was shocked when you told him. he knew you were right but he really thought it was something that would happen and they could live with it. he told you that he understood but he was really very broken.

he told you out of nowhere really. you thought your twos relationship was in a good place, and suddenly he tells you that he doesnt love you anymore. probably it was that way because it was the only way he found to tell you. those words destroyed you completely and when you asked for explanations he didnt know how to give them because he really didnt know what had happened either.

✦- from one day to the next the relationship stopped working. you didnt understand him anymore, Jeno. It seemed like he no longer trusted you and was hiding things from you. the talks at the end of the day ended quickly and he no longer spoke to you much directly. you thought it was because they couldnt understand each other anymore so the trust between you felt absent.

a few months ago this was a problem in your relationship, suddenly talking to each other was not comforting nor did you listen to each other. every talk led to an argument. he was the one who brought it up to you. the relationship was no longer working, he loved you, you loved him, but they no longer understood each other. the spark that connected them had gone out

✦- i dont know why but sometimes Hyuck gives me those cheater vibes. it must be because i read a lot of things with a plot about that, but thats not the point. despite being a very intelligent person, haechan can sometimes be somewhat impulsive. he was easily carried away by a provocation or he was simply drunk, we dont know really, but he did it. he swear it was a one-time mistake but it happened again, two more times. but since the third is the charm you caught him in the act.

you couldnt believe it when you saw it, the person you had fallen in love with being disloyal to you. he came out behind you quickly and started apologizing. but it was too late, the mistake had already been made. you told him you didnt want to hear his apology and you left. He tried to contact you in the following weeks but you blocked him everywhere. eventually he gave up looking for you.

✦➼na jaemin ┈ different visions of the relationship

✦- you had been with jaemin for a while when one day you sat down to talk as usual and this topic came up. they realized that they both wanted different things in life and that they didnt know where they were taking the relationship. you were willing to continue the relationship, settle down and maybe start a family one day with him. but jaemin still wanted to continue experiencing life and didnt see their relationship as something serious enough to settle down.

with this information the relationship was no longer the same. there was no point in really continuing with this if one of us thought that way. so one day, you faced him. you asked him if it was really true that he saw the relationship you two had that way and when he said yes, you blurted it out. it hurt him, but he understood and thought it was the best for the two of you.

✦- chenle is someone with strong ideas and sticks to them a lot, so arguments were not something unusual in their relationship. it was always little things like who had to wash the dishes and stuff like that. sometimes things escalated to another level but never like that time.

the argument had started over something that was certainly stupid given the strength with which they ended up arguing. everything got out of control when you reproached him for something. from there, they began to tell each other every bad thing they saw in each other. the argument ended when one of you shouted, "well, if we're so bad for each other we should break up." and that's how it ended, you didnt see him again after that for a long time.

✦- jisung thought you cheated on him. he misinterpreted a message that was on your cell phone. at first he denied it (not only because it wasnt true) but because he didnt believe it was true, especially coming from you. but after that he started noticing things that were always there but he had never noticed them. things that had nothing wrong and were purely innocent on your part, but he didnt see them that way.

one day when he got home he told you something that had made him a little jealous, and although he tried to stay calm he ended up exploding and letting it all out. you tried to explain it to him but he got carried away by his ego and didn't let you do it. also relevant is the fact that you had burst into tears because of what he thought of you. in the end you wiped your tears and told him that the relationship was ending.

okay i have this theory on HOW tomas died. what happened before that led to his death.

okay, so we all know from lyras mom that tomas was kind of like an entrepreneur who wasnt too big on telling the truth; he constantly told different people different stories about himself, and lyras mother, who ended up literally having his child, didnt know much about him.

i know people like him could be any age, but because he seems so desperate to make business deals and it seems to be because hes young and just started his career, plus if lyras mother were older (yes ik this could be at any age too but its most likely to happen to a young person) she probably wouldnt have stayed so long with a guy who she 1. knew nothing about and 2. thought was distrusting, im guessing tomas is on the younger side, like 19-25.

now, my theory could work with or without this next thought, but it adds to it.

because tomas is already such a “hustler” at a young age (from what i presume), im guessing its because he doesnt have a very great home life/might have had the same scenario as rohan, with not really having parents, he must have had to be a liar in the business industry just to make ends meet for himself, and possibly for lyras mother. (now, if you’re wondering why tomas being overall parentless even matters, it doesnt much, but hold on)

now imagine a young, overall alone tomas meets alice hawthorne. she has the money, the reputation, and is like a poor tomas’ dream. now fast forward a bit, tomas might have introduced some patents to her, they might have struck some business deals, whatever. but here’s where things kind of start to change.

as we know, tobias and alice hawthorne arent really know to keep people around. they use others for personal gain for as long as possible, and then they discard them like trash. but lets say tomas finds something out about the hawthorne family. obv i dont know what bc im not a psychic, but its something bad enough to send the hawthorne legacy crashing down. bonus points if he has proof. so, alice had a plan.

alice gave tomas a chance at his dream career; she kept him around for longer after that short period where they had been working together, giving him a taste of the career he had been working towards for months, even years possibly. she built him up, and, if you remember my theory about his rough family, might have even treated tomas like a son, like he belonged in the hawthorne family. basically giving him false hope and love. now, imagine the kind of person great, big alice hawthorne is to tiny pathetic tomas. and then imagine what his reaction was when, all of a sudden, she throws tomas on the back burner. crashes his career right to the ground, cutting off contact with him, shutting his life down so efficiently and effectively knowing that with her name, her status, and her past relationship with tomas, that it would break him. once tomas saw that he was being put back to square one by a woman he thought loved him like a son, by the biggest role model in his life, by alice hawthorne… he crashed. alice didnt even need to plan any sort of assassination; it was like the trash took itself out.

he became exactly what alice hawthorne had wanted him to be as soon as she realized she didnt need him anymore; a speck of dust on the hawthorne family reputation, just another person to exploit. alice knew tomas had had her backed into a corner, so she turned him into every other business man/woman and patent owner who dared to try and work with the hawthornes.

obviously tomas is angry. he realized too late that the person he looked up to the most was faking it all just to make sure her perfect reputation didnt get tainted, but worst of all, hes heartbroken with both himself for believing her, and alice for lying. (and im guessing by now his blackmail/evidence used as blackmail got destroyed/covered up, and couldnt be used by him anymore) so he soughts out his daughter, and, well… we know what happened with lyra.

he wants lyra to have at least one memory with him (even if its a shitty one), especially one with him blaming it on the hawthornes, because he needed her to avenge him, partially because he knew nobody else would. (remember: sucky/absent parents theory) i think him deciding to shoot himself in front of her with vague riddles instead of just explaining what happened to her was also on purpose, because he needed to do something that she, his daughter who’d never even met him, would remember.

i dont know how “what begins a bet? not that” ties into this, but i honestly really did not understand that whole omega thing to begin with lol 😭😭

but yeah thats my theory!! one thing i do want to point out though is that its seemingly very simple, and nothing that the hawthornes do are “simple” in any way shape or form. but i also thought that jlb making it a whole “cult” thing like how people have been speculating on here would be too repetitive, so i thought up this instead 💗💗

Dark Ford prefers Nikola is an interesting one, because the idea with him is on some level he's so lonely he's living in complete denial. This is a Ford who never reached out to Fiddleford for help (at least not right away) and never got Stan's car and Carla. He's not evil per say, and it very possible he'd also rage at Bill's betrayal and work to destroy the portal.

He's like Stan in a way. The relationship they have right now works, and he gets to be with his brother and have companionship as long as he doesnt acknowledge that his cat is Stan. If he acknowledges it, then that means he has to do something about it, and then Stan will be human and might leave. He's shoving down all the evidence Stan is showing him like how he shoved down how much he missed Stan to begin with. The news of Stan's death might actually have the opposite effect of Ford clinging to 'Nikola' harder, as now Stan really doesn't have anything to return to.

Stan would never abandon Ford, not until the moment its revealed their relationship is unsalvagable. His issue with the Dark Ford that discovered Nikola was Stan via soul shredding is that every touch is a painful reminder of what his brother did to him, and how agonizing it was. The never Nikola Dark Ford was revealed not to care about Stan himself and just liked the idea of Stan, without showing a willingness to change or communicate with Stan as equals. In this one he just thinks Ford really is that dense, and if it ever came to a point where Ford revealed he knew it was Stan but was in denial because he was afraid of what would happen next, then Stan would forgive him as long as they moved forwards and Ford uncursed him.

In the universe where this Ford fights against Bill, he'd cling to Nikola being 'just a pal' right up until he hit the mental tipping point and had a break down. He has no one to turn to, and no one to blame for his situation but himself. Except Stan is right here. The only person Ford can trust and depend on, who he's been ignoring for months just because it was easier. At that point he'd cling to Stan and admit to everything, how he knew it was Stan, and he was terrified of what might happen if he tried to do anything to help. Terrified of being alone, that maybe Stan just stuck around for so long because he didnt know anyone else who could help him. That he was the worst brother, only willing to face the truth due to desperation in his own circumstances but not for Stan himself. Which would lead to Stan forgiving him, them teaming up to beat up Bill, then Stan lording this over Fords head forever (and Ford holding Stan's willingness to be that cat over his head also. Just the saddest brothers over here, more willing to be pet/owner then have a conversation).

He's a Ford whos lonely and scared to confront reality. Just like Stan in the orignal fic, he has no idea what would happen if he turned Stan human, and the fear holds him back from taking that step.

So on the day of Lambert's birthday, they are going to overhear Fox (Narinder's advisor) and Narinder talking behind closed doors. Fox will say something like "You are giving them too much attention, people are talking your majesty." and Narinder will blatantly say that he is using them because "It's easy to move fools who move their hearts on their sleeves. And even easier when they are giving their heart to him so readly."

Which will make Lambert really sad but they will be expecting it even after all the time they have spent with Narinder they would always have had doubts due to the nature of their relationship.

So in hopeless idoicy they will try to drink their sorrows away in the garden.

Theo (who im changing the name to Theodore) will search and find them as a sobbing mess. He will ask what happened with the intention of consoling them but when Lambert says "I have done everything for him, risked my life so many times and its still not enough. Am I just that unlovable?" with tears streaming down their cheeks.

Theodore will not hear anything Lambert says, only focused on their face to say "Do you know how beautiful your tears are?" and kiss them right there.

Getting their hopeless despairing answer from Theodore, who doesnt even care what they feel or think, Lambert will just continue crying while he kisses them.

Narinder will see the two from afar, rush towards them and basicly blast Theodore away in rage.

After Theodore runs away with his tail between his legs, Narinder's anger will be turned towards Lambert next... the audacity of this man to even be angry at Lambert...

And drama and more drama!

I have had this scene planned since creating Theodore so I hope I can destroy everyones hearts with the visuals when we get here <3

I read your argument post and I read the same opinions online. I would like to ask if you considered that Deruth might have hestitant to communucate his feelings because he mught lose his relationship with Cale. I agree with the opinions that communication is important but shouldnt Cale also communicate his father?

Also, you cant deny that Cale wasnt the best person in his version in the story. He was called a trash for a reason.

I also feel that you keep Violan, Basen and Lily out? Do you not consider them as Cale's family? Why or why not?

Anyway, interested on what you think

My take on this:

Deruth is the adult. Cale is the child. It doesnt matter how many times have passed. That is their relationship and their dynamic. It is the duty of the adult/parent to care for the child and assume all the heavy lifting in the relationship until Cale himself is an adult. The main reason is that in the end, it is the adult/Deruth who brought Cale into this world and is tasked to guide said Cale - not the other way around. And Deruth's problems or flaws will affect Cale no matter what. I also like to highlight that almost all power and authority resides in Deruth as a parent and adult in all ways - good or bad.

ETA: There is a line in Sekiro by the last boss - Hesitation is defeat. It's fine to hesitate - as long there is also an acceptance of the risk with the choice. In this case, the growing gap and distance between the two, the continuation of resentment or other negative feelings Cale has for the relationship. While distant is not yet formed as full rejection here, constant isolation and uneasiness in the relationship are good ingredients to maybe a permanent no contact with each other in the future. TLDR - Hesitate at your own risk.

re:Cale communicaitng. Sure, Cale can talk. The issue is - is he comfortable enough with his relationship with Deruth to actually communicate his true feelings? Deruth distanced himself and Cale would have definately felt that. Deruth was given a wide berth due to his grief and his remarriage - assuming it helped him cope in his roles. But his relationship with Cale never did recover pre-Jour's death because rifts and gaps formed during the distance. So, if there are already gaps and issues, do you think Cale would be comfortable bringing his concerns without being accused of destroying/delaying Deruth's happiness? If this is the case, shouldnt be the parent/adult be the one who gives reassurance, love and all those things that help them reconcile and their relationship grow? Or is it another burden for the child who has to hide his own authentic self because he already experienced being isolated and hurt from the person who is supposed to give him unconditional love?

2nd question - He wouldnt need to be a trash if his own father protected his new family over the status he inherited.

For the third question - Violan and her children are his stepfamily. Deruth chose them for himself - not for Cale. Stepfamily dynamics are complex and way more complicated vs bio/nuclear family. There are many issues but I would say that Cale cared for them because his father brought them in Cale's life. One argument (reflected in real life) is since they made Deruth happy, Cale should be happy that his father is happy because of them. In a morbid sense, it can implied that post-Jour, Cale wasnt able to give his father happiness or him being enough for Deruth to move on from grief (not that he is supposed to in the first place). In way, Cale deserves them than his father but his link to them is very weak. The Henituse is a classic high-functioning dysfunctional blended family.

I know many people hate the prefix of 'step' and 'half' - but in the 10yrs that this family has been doing, there has been no evidence they came together or act as one unit. It's always Cale or Deruth + Violan (& OFC Basen and Lily). Violan will side by her husband and take Deruth's lead (wrongly or rightly) because she did marry him (you dont marry children, I cant fathom why she did marry this man but I digress) and Basen and Lily would side with their parents. So, I dont think they are a family - they are people who live in the same place and trying to get along like roommates. Besides, it seems that Deruth + Cale isnt considered as a family in its own right.

I don't know when you'll get back to this. I know that Den is your favorite route in StP, but what about Den has you have her as your favorite? I'm just really curious.

first of all I love the themes about dehumanization and seeing through someone's humanity beyond appearances. the princess is molded by our perception but it doesn't mean that she is our perception alone, and it's shown numerous times that she is not merely a mindless monster (yes even during instinct/ouroboros) even when you follow through narrator's (very very stubbornly put) opinions of her. he is extra of an asshole during it bc its easier to dehumanize her further when she cant even talk and its smth i resonate with a lot as a neurodivergent person

secondly I've always been drawn to nonhuman characters in general, especially monsters, and her design captivated me instantly. again due to being autistic its always been easier for me to connect with animals than people, and that mixed with how far youve pushed the princess to be overcome by instinct is such a great way to put together a "dont judge a book by its cover" telling

thirdly I adore how through skeptic you get to actually see her in another light. she doesnt have a way to reach you when stuck so she has a moment to communicate with you in some way. narrator mentioning how her bone structure cant even let her properly get out of the basement is one of the things i think about the most, youve pushed her into that feral role so deep that now she cant even exit that mold (at least not without help) without bringing herself and you to your doom. helping her is letting her humanity take over instinct, as you take each other towards freedom. she had to destroy that barrier but she could only do it properly if you helped her with it. what pushes her forward is the retribution for that help. even if you dont help her she still lets out a desperate roar as she destroys the tunnel in an attempt to escape, but you didnt break that barrier alongside her for you to reach freedom. den is my fav hunted route bc of hunted's sympathy, putting herself (i use she/it for hunted just so u dont get confused) in den's place as she's the only one who could truly understand the position the princess was in, and following her line of thought (pack is stronger together) is what saves you from being buried to death

and lastly the body horror might be my favorite thing in her chapter. I love the horror genre in general, but I'm very nitpicky with body horror and senseless gore bc it'll be used for shock value alone, besides many examples of 'body horror' being like... a heavy wound or straight up ableism. which sucks ass bc you can get really creative with it, which is what ouroboros does: you both indulging each other to become instinct, hunted going mad with the power you discover when you finally have a chance to feel bigger, the twisted healing that comes from the mutual consumption being taking each other's strength until at some point you've been eating and eating and eating until you cant tell where one begins and the other ends, trapping you both in the realization of what you've done to each other for that need to survive without thinking about the consequences, and especially the way you both become more monstrous by taking parts of each other, that one glimpse of den's humanity being shown through shame, an emotion so agonizingly human that you can't help but feel it as well once you get to think about what you've become, how far youve pushed her the moment you decided to embrace instinct

it's fascinating how people continue to see her as something other than the other vessels even with all of that being shown, as if you also don't embrace instinct at some point, and even hero mentions how dehumanizing your actions are. youre simply putting your humanity to the side and embracing your most primal feelings, but it doesnt mean that your reasoning ceases to exist entirely

For those who don't know, Changed Fates is my main OC universe, Featuring the gal in my profile picture as one of six main characters. I've got a blog to keep stuff about it organized at @changed-fates

The world abides by a rule that when a god is killed, 1000 years later, they will be revived

And so, of course, we start 1000 years ago. the god of death seemingly lost it, and went on a rampage, slaughtering many innocents. The other gods of course, couldnt let this continue, so they began charging the [name pending] beam to kill him. Unfortunately, they discovered this plan, and advanced to destroy the other gods location to stop them. The god of Chaos, Conflict, Order, and Peace stood outside the base knowing their location was compromised, and once death arrived the battle could begin.

It seemed like it might be going well for the 4, at least until Death began charging a blast. The only option was to use all of their strongest attacks in hope of knocking them out before they finished charging. And so Chaos, Conflict, and Peace all hit with everything they had, but Order for some reason, defended. This led to them not knocking out death in time, and the blast was unleashed upon the 4, killing them. But before Death could make any progress, the other 2 gods, Emptiness and Existence finished charging the [name pending] beam, and used it to kill death.

After going outside, they discovered Order may not have been killed by the blast after all [thats off camera though, and for later]

Timeskip to present day, A girl wakes up in a world unfamiliar with no recollection of anything other than her name, Taylor.

Meanwhile, within a secret government facility, a robot created for war gains sentience, and breaks out of its containment, escaping from the facility

meanwhile again, a local streamer feels a bit different, though doesnt immediately notice anything.

Nows a good time to introduce characters I think. Refs will be on my refs post cuz i dont have room for them all here lol

Taylor goddess of peace! (She/Her)

Taylor is probably the character of CF anyone is most likely to know about, since she kinda ended up being my sona. She was the first character ive created that I really consider an OC, so she holds a special place in my heart, although she did kinda start as just a genderswapped Tails, shes really become her own character.

She uses a shield in combat, opting for a more protective role than an offensive one like a tank, shes really outgoing as a person, and its often hard to find her without a friend by her side.

Tec The body of Conflict! (He/They)

Tec was my second oc, definetly inspired by Nine from Sonic Prime with his back arms. He sprang from the other side of how I headcannoned Tails, as while Taylor came from the part that was cute and more loving, Tec came from the more "main character energy" I would project onto him.

As could be gathered, Tec is a robot, made for combat by the government, this has of course led to attempts by the government to reclaim him, though always unsuccessful as he has blended into society well. As a robot, they are emotionless, but have learned to feign emotions well after figuring out it allows him to more easily predict other people. He uses his mechanical arms in combat, and typically is a physical damage dealer

Tanner The body of Chaos (He/Him)

Tanner doesnt really have as much backstory when it comes to his creation, he himself is probably one of my less fleshed out characters, though he and Tyde were intended to have the position of chaos before Taylor and Tec were intended to have their roles.

As Mentioned, Tanner himself hasnt actually been too fleshed out yet, (dont tell anyone, but I only even got the idea of him being a streamer whilr writing this) I think though that him just being a normal guy whos life is being affected by the god of chaos does work well in the story. He is in a polyamorous relationship with Rose, Abby, and Quin. He wields a front grip sword in combat, but would take on more of a black mage role.

Tyde Awoken Goddess of Order (She/Her)

Tyde in her first designs was created because I wanted a character who wore a maid dress as their main apparel, she has of course, become much more than that, being the first of two characters decided to be a god. Her position as the Goddess of Order does keep some of her roots though, as she enjoys cleaning, organization, and general order (who coulda guessed)

Tyde, after being left in a coma by the God of Death for several hundred years was kept safe by the gods of Emptiness and Existence, waking up 50 or so years earlier than the other gods were revived. She holds their deaths on her conscience, replaying the scene in her head countless times, beliving it to be her fault that two of her friends and her girlfriend were killed. This leads to her developing a perfection complex, not assisted by her innate want for order, beliving she needs to be perfect or things wont go well. but worst of all, her girlfriend not only doesnt remember they used to be together, but is dating someone else. She wields a staff in battle, and takes on a White Mage like role.

Devi God of Existence (Any pronouns) (why cant there be yellow on tumblr man, just pretend that pink is yellow)

Devi is easily the OC who happened to be in the right place at the right time when it came to position in lore, they started out as one of those characters who is seen to just be seemingly working every job (Ex. Larry, Amazing World of Gumball) but when I needed a 2 more characters to be gods to complete the rainbow, there they were. Im gonna be honest, Existence was probably the hardest one of the 6 to decide, I mean, Order and Chaos go together, Conflict and Peace go together, but what goes after that??? struggles there aside, Devi and Rocket have probably been the most difficult to balance lorewise just because of what exactly they encompass.

Devi and Rocket, as the survivors of Deaths attack, has had to expend a lot of their power over the years to keep the forces of the other 4 gods in check during their absence. as a result of this, they feel an increased level of emotions. They serve an all rounder attacker role in combat, wielding a variety of weapons as their outfit changes depending on the job they are imitating, (Most often seen in Sailor attire) Though I like to immagine them using an Anchor a lot lol.

Rocket god of Emptiness (it/its, but it doesn't really care)

Rocket is probably my most embarassing oc story, being created as an insert over the boyfriend from friday night funkin when I listen to fnf songs and imagine them as my ocs, and like Devi, happened to be in the right place at the right time when it came to roles in the story.

Like with Devi, they had to expend a lot of power to deal with the absence of the other 4 gods, leaving them emotionless, only able to feel them temporarilly when others around them feel strong emotions.They wear sunglasses to hide this lack of emotions, They primarily use their microphone to battle, wielding it like a flail, but they can also copy their opponents weapon. They serve a more supportive role in battle.

Axel The Body of Peace (He/Him) (fox)

Axel started out as a curse that Taylor had put on her named Cursella. This was of course, boring, so he became the one Taylors spirit had to possess to revive, This led to me making him trans.

Axel was a normal guy, he kept to himself for the most part, other than his cousin Quin who he would at time hang out with. But one day, he dissapeared without a trace, no note, no goodbye, nothing. He was left trapped in limbo, only after being fuelled by his hatred for Taylor for taking over his life was he able to speak to her within their mind, which would take a while for the two to sort out because of course Taylor never wanted to take over his body, but Axel just wants her out. After a long time, they reach peace, and when they work together, they reach their final form where they wield a comically large hammer. Axel himself uses a battle axe in combat.

Flick The God of Conflict (He/They) (fox)

Flick doesnt have a creative backstory, they were created to serve this role, but their name is based on the word conFLICKt get it haha

After returning to existence, their soul took over the body of a robot being created by the government for combat, something the soul of something that loves fighting would be drawn to. They tend to take a backseat, but when they do act, they always end up in a fight with Tec, leading to them being incredibly unpredictable in combat as you can never tell what they are going to do. They are a strategist, and are probably the strongest fighter of the cast in a vaccum, however, Tec tends keeps them from doing this as their fighting styles dont work well together. They wield a spear in combat.

Kay The God of Chaos (He/Him) (fox)

same as Flick, their name is based on the word chaos , KAYos get it, also pretty much exist just for this role. Also, I blame @/glitchyk for giving me the name.

Kay as the god of chaos loves creating, well, chaos. even if it tends to be at the expense of Tanner, who unfortunately can quite figure out why hes having lapses of memorry and waking up to things he doesnt remember doing. He wields a sword backhand. In the odd case where the two of them have the same goal, they wield both swords, one in front grip and one in back grip.

Rose The Local Twink (He/Him) / Olivia The goddess of Life (She/Her) (Snow Fox)

Rose was created because I wanted a femboy oc, and also got lucky with timing when it came to lore because I had a god of death, so I needed a god of Life.

Olivia felt terrible after doing nothing while Death rampaged because they couldn't bring themselves to hurt the one they loved, and went into hiding. Years later, they came out of hiding as Rose, keeping anyone from knowing their true form. They live out their days with their lovers, Suspiciously able to help Tanner with his Kay problems better than anyone else. Rose was of course eventually forced to reveal they were the goddess of life, and they wield a bow.

Quin The Local Tomboy (She/Her) (Black Cat)

I dont really remember why Quin was created, but the story wouldnt be the same without them, her name was inspired by the word delinQUINt

Quin is the type of gal to hit first ask questions later, Shes a menace with her bat and she takes no insults, and if you even think about hurting her loved ones she will not hesitate to hurt you. She spends a chunk of the story searching for Axel, before eventually confronting Taylor about it. She is unfortunately for her, the perfect candidate for a vessel of the god of Death, though her strong willpower doesn't make it easy

Crow The God of Death (He/Them) (Fox)

The god of death themself, you would have to ask past me, but I probably made them around the same time Puss In Boots The Last Wish came out, and you can probably see why. The name is because a group of crows is called a murder

Crow used to be a lot more chill, before they lost it and went on a killing spree, and you know what happened after. I cant really say much about what they do post revival because I dont have that section of the story super ironed out like I do the prologue.

Mid Level Importance

Once again i forgot why I made Abby lol, but her name is inspired by the person I thought I had a crush on before I realized I was aroace

Abby is an easily exitable gal, and easily hasn't been developed enough as a character. but her role as the person that Order would have taken as a vessel should she have died is important

Sherry The bunny

Sherry was always meant to be Taylors girlfriend, I dont really have a backstory for her name

She is a bit of a girlfail, she likes reading books, not too developed outside of, well, Taylors girlfriend

Hunter the Sniper (He/Him) (Mouse)

Hunter is an assassain hired by the government to retrieve Tec, He uh, fails, horrendously, and is kinda forced to join the team in exchange for Tec not... killing him. He wields a sniper rifle

A.V.A. The Ai (She/it) (Ai)

I made her cuz I wanted Tec to have a lil goober as an Ai lol, her name stands for Artificial Virtual Assistant

She doesnt really have a huge role in the story, but her position as Tecs assistant is very important

Carrie the postwoman (She/her) (bird)

Names a play on Mail carrier

Carries mail, pretty simple

Fifi The Barrista (She/Her) (Doggo)

her name is a play on coffee

Shes a tired barrista, hates her job.
