I continue to pray fervently that Joanne Kelly takes a role in something that is Fun and even perhaps Cute in some way. I welcome Drama but please god JK you can do comedy well, and I miss seeing your smiling face.

i love how much of an ABSOLUTE MESS alice is. you listen to the first episode and think “oh wow a sarcastic and charismatic female character me likey” and then you reach ep 14 and realize that there’s something very deeply wrong with this woman.

In one of the extra comics Marcille mentions that elves don't have body hair, her included. So Falin staring at a naked pussy is Canon
I mean, I hear what you're saying but...
To be 100% honest, this feels really ambiguous. She's a little too worked up in that second panel. Like, a lot of people have interpreted it as her being defensive and self-conscious about the fact that she shaves and waxes religiously (especially in the context of a trans headcanon) and that feels more right to me?
My personal interpretation is that she really doesn't grow little facial hairs (partially bc we've seen Senshi's huge beard turn into a tiny little elf stache so there is some real evidence for that). But then she doesn't actually know if she has peach fuzz or not and gets REALLY flustered about being scrutinized before she can check for herself and shave off anything she doesn't like.
But either way, my point is that I don't think we're meant to take Marcille's words here at 100% face value and consider it evidence for elf physiology.
And listen. I think Marcille should have a bald pussy in the bath scene bc rule of funny. But beyond that, I want to believe elves can grow pubic hair. I want to believe in the postcanon blondie bush. She's exponentially cuter with it, and I don't want Falin to have to eat bald pussy for the rest of her life. I'm only half joking when I say I want it as a part of her character growth. At the end of the story, Marcille Donato accepts that she is a living, breathing animal that eats and will be eaten and sweats and shits and grows hair all over her body. She learns to accept mortality, starts to reconcile with the inherent grotesqueness of being alive, and most importantly, lets her bush grow out for the first time in her life. And it's beautiful.

So, y'all know Steph slapped Bruce, but do y'all know what happens afterward? How Steph and Bruce reacts?
Because, I do, and it's some good shit.
When Steph slaps Bruce, she immediately panics, which makes sense. Bruce is an adult man, and those aren't known for their great reactions to being confronted, and she is a teenage girl. He is also an authority figure in her life. (Sidenotes: yes, this is the first official time they meet again after Bruce "died". He was complementing her vigilante work when she slapped him.)
Instead of going after her (which would scare her more), Bruce waits until later to find her again to discuss. She is now wearing her Batgirl's suit, so it is at least a couple of hours since the slap. Bruce gave her time to think about what she wants to say to him. And now, it is time for him to listen.
And listen he does, as he barely speaks and doesn't interrupt her. Then, once she's done, he is smiling, proud of her for standing up against him. The few words he says imply that he wants her to do whatever she wants, he is not the boss of her.
Bruce: Is this what you really want?
Steph: Yes.
Bruce: Then say it.
Steph: I want to be Batgirl.
~
Bruce: It is uniquely hers now, isn't it?
Alfred: Indeed, sir.

I have an odd but simple question, how do you communicate how a character’s voice should sound?
Some combination of an awkward facsimile me and Tracy struggle with and a description provided to the actor that gives them space to explore the possibilities on their own.
Or in @actuallynickels case, send her this and say "just like Meegan"

I would like to remind people that Chilchuck hasn't seen his wife in 4 years.
So he maybe wasn't there to see his daughters become adults, but he was there for the majority of their childhood.
When he left, Mayjack and Flertom were 12, and Puckpatty was 10. They reach adulthood at 14, so maybe yes, he was absent when they were still kids, but that doesn't mean he didn't maintained contact with them afterwards as far as I know. The thing he uses around his neck was a gift from Flertom, and he was using it when he met Laios's party.

I think there’s something extremely entertaining abt two kids who aren’t child prodigies, but infact;
-Constantly cheating death over and over again, even when they should’ve absolutely perished ages ago.
-Continue their streak through gaining the Grim Reaper as their father, who keeps cheating them out of death even more as atonement for trying to kill/harm them once himself.
<<< Simultaneously the luckiest and unluckiest god damn teens/young adults

Makes me feel a kind of way how Gideon does not once question Nona's personality. Like, she knows who Nona is! She knows that's the Death of the Lord, the monster in the Tomb, a being as old as her universe, and she's furious with her. But she still sees Nona and adjusts her attitude to speak reassuringly to her, like a little kid. Even when she's grilling her about Harrow, it's: Where is she? It doesn't matter what the answer is, just tell me. I promise I won't get mad.
