Okay, I have one more Eragon in the wild story.

I was a kid on a field trip to an orchestra concert. The girl sitting next to me was super chatty, and it turned out that we both liked to read.

Her (completely unprompted): did you read Eragon?

Me: Yeah :)

Her: Wasn’t it sooooo bad.

Me: Uh, okay :(

Then she immediately recommend a Cassandra Clare book.

i’m not the biggest fan of its evos, but sprigatito’s a cutie and my character (unintentionally) matched it (sorta): i gave myself green eyes and pink hair, inverse of sprigatito being green and having pink eyes, and i chose the :3 mouth. i felt like i had to go with the weed cat.

That ask about Valtor getting worried when Bloom gets Sad tm got me thinking... if she didn't somewhat snap out of that depression and apathetic state and it continued for a long time, how do you see Valtor reacting to that? Cuz he seems to kinda panic a lil whenever she gets like that.

Canonically Valtor's only real coping mechanism is bargaining, so he'd probably just poke and prod at her until something sticks. Dangle some friend-or-freedom-shaped carrots in front of her, and, if all else fails, give her some openings to start fighting him again.

Just to clear that up tho, while Bloom's emotional state is currently fucked up in a lot of traumatic ways, she's not depressed per se. If anything, her depression phase was all the way back in those first few chapters, during her forced inactivity. That girl could barely narrate two sentences before another wave of self-loathing and survivor's guilt hit. And I know there were a lot of events later on that were probably worse in every way imaginable, but they don’t eat her up like inaction did. That particular trauma is more distant to her, inherited basically, while the events of Council Hall were directly or indirectly her fault. Domino is the grave of everything she could have had, but she also never knew it. It’s the loss of something fantastical and intangible, not the brutal, gory death of everything that Bloom cherished in her life.

i’m gonna cry it’s raining right now and i just passed by a family where both parents were without an umbrella but their kid who couldn’t have been older than like 3-4 was proudly holding this GIANT umbrella whose diameter was as tall (if not taller) as the kid. both the parents were getting absolutely drenched but u could tell the kid was just so happy to have an “adult” task and carry the umbrella themselves and i think that sacrifice is what love is all about

When Izzy first walked out I was worried that he would be made into a joke that the crew would laugh at

but then he started singing and the dancing began and I realized that he wasn’t meant to be a joke at all. This is the most open and happy we’ve ever seen Izzy and the show treated it that way. Not mocking him but instead celebrating this moment.

When we talk about queer representation it’s usually just focused on queer relationships, but what I love about this episode is it shows other sides of being queer. That moment where Izzy saw Wee John doing his makeup and had a realization that he wanted that too? That is what being queer means to me. The crew singing along and cheering for him? That is what being apart of the queer community means to me.

What i love about this show is that it shows queer joy, not in a sanitized way, but in away that is messy, beautiful, and without any mockery or shame.

I think Dick and Jason would have multiple “what the actual fuck are you saying right now” with Tim and Damian when it comes to quality of life/monetary differences. Sure, Dick and Jason got used to Bruce’s “is $100 a good enough tip on a $30 bill?” shit, but hearing Tim talking about a new laptop he bought for $5000 literally is like a punch in the gut.

If they ever went on a cruise (which they totally wouldn’t because cruises are floating death traps), Jason and Dick would be in awe of the fancy amenities, where as Damian would be unsatisfied with the quality, since he grew up with every single amenity known to man. Tim would just feel like it’s all normal since the Drake’s were extravagant and travelled all over the planet.

Jason : My bedroom is bigger than my fucking apartment.

Dick : I could do a full gymnastics routine with the space in my room.

Tim :

Tim : My room is normal sized…

Jason : You grew up in a mega mansion. I hardly think you’re the benchmark of a normal room-
