I told my brother i have to rewrite my personal statement. He said, with ZERO hesitation “use Chatgpt”
I said, in response, “why would i use a machine for what my brain can already do?”
He was all like ‘we’re at a time to optimise’ or whatever and personally it just seems so stupid to rely on a machine for what you yourself can do. If i want something to be what i actually want it to be then i would do it myself, with my own bare hands.
I’m not and never will rely on a machine to make something i can do myself. Even if i don’t have the skills yet, or the technique, or the ability yet, i am willing to LEARN how to. I’m not gonna let my brain become second to a machine tf 😭

did this as a quick scribble at like 1 AM last night and...immediately lost all motivation to ever clean it up. ( ᐛ ) but I had to draw my son being the fanciest little flower boy who ever threw petals down an aisle. oh my god.
#art#twisted wonderland#twisted wonderland spoilers#eternity float#eternity float of the coral sea#surprise! my art actually CAN look worse!#but i just love these fancy lads so much#like i was initially kinda 'CORAL S -- aw no merforms? :('#but i figure they're probably saving a proper underwater event for azul so whatever it's time for HYPE#especially because it looks like it might be WEDDING-THEMED(!!!)#and/or kiss the girl(!!!!!!!)#and honestly for both of those jade is actually the funniest possible ssr choice#sorry leona we found the one event that...no he would still be hilarious. dangit.#honestly though these are top-tier choices all around#if i was going to walk around a beach while jade talks endlessly at me about the legend of the mermaid princess with big sleeves#i could ask for nothing better than riddle malleus and rook to be standing there tossing flower petals at me the whole time#i know it's probably all ~algorithm-based~ or whatever they have that tells them what characters to use#but there is legit a little something i think in doing a kiss the girl theme with those three#the three guys who have some of the most trouble properly expressing themselves#and also jade who i assume just thinks they're all prime sources for hilarity#he will 100% be looking for opportunities to 'accidentally' push someone overboard#bonus points if there's a very fancy cake that they can fall into on the way down#i don't know anything about what the story will be yet but i know that much is true

Not these two again (I will do it again).
Ummmm, soon-to-be father-son angst or something.
Jason's line after this was originally: "I don't need a lecture from the guy who swapped his scales and sword for cigarettes and guns," but I have other stuff I wanna move on to and the frames kinda got fucked, sooo.
Ko-Fi.

hey! for todays protest, i made this little zine about palestine (holding just simple and basic information).
you can download the zine here, fold it yourself, and distribute it around.
no credit is needed. feel free to leave it around bars, protests, or wherever. simply print it (borderless) and fold it. here is a tutorial on how to do it.
dont stay silent. there is a genocide of horrendous, atrocious proportions going on. also if you are a zionist here to argue with me, i dont plan to entertain you at all, not on my art blog. fuck off, you'll be swiftly blocked. i see enough of you clowns on my main and i have no energy for you. you can skip the death threats too bc i dont give a shit.
(i'm off to get ready for a surgery now, i just wanted to post it before this. if you need anything, i might take a bit to reply)

Where is my Portal?!
So! Heroes have a bad habit of stealing Technology when they need it.
The Flash usually stole from Star Labs or any of the dozens of smaller Labs in Central City. Batman was suspected to steal Tech from Wayne Enterprises to build his gadgets. Even Superman stole from Lexcorp every once in a while, although that was more understandable considering their history.
Heroes, despite their main job being to stop people from stealing, were not exactly paragons of The Law. They committed crimes on occasion to stop Villains, and most people just agreed to ignore the tiny crimes every now and then.
Now the Big Crimes, that was a different story. Taking the big important pieces of Tech from these Labs was definitely liable to get people made at them.
All this to say, Danny was not amused when he walked into his Personal Lab one morning only to find his Whole-Ass Portal missing from it's spot in the Wall.

I genuinely think if you want to have kids, you should have a list of at least a dozen people who you would trust at the drop of a hat to pick your kid up or take care of them in an emergency. Family, friends, neighbors - you need to start building your village so when you have a kid somebody can bring a meal, or help around the house postpartum, or take an older child on short notice in case of an emergency.
And be ready to be that person for others - even if you are child-free for life, look out for your pregnant, postpartum, adopting, and child-rearing community members and see if they need support.
And don't come on my post and say "don't have a kid unless you can care for them alone." It's just not true. A single person given full responsibility for the life of a child (especially an infant) can become a danger to themselves and their kids. They are the primary caregiver, not the only one. In many cultures (and among the wealthy in every culture) it is normal to hire people to assist with children, especially newborns, whose care equates to a full-time job.

Batkids being asked who they think Bruce’s favorite is:
Dick: “Either Cass or Jason, though I’m leaning more towards Cass, Bruce has always been a girl dad”
Jason: “Cass, that’s his daughter”
Tim: “Jason. … Did I answer that to quickly? If it’s any consolation I think Dick has a chance.”
Cass: *sign for bat and then sun* “Duke, he’s special”
Steph: “I’m not one of his kids so I don’t know why I’m here, but I’d say Tim or Cass cause they’re my favorites. I would include Duke in this list but he wronged me” *checks watch* “12 hours ago.”
Duke: “Probably Dick, but neither of them know it cause they’re blind when it comes to eachother. I also think Cass, but I think everyone else is going to say Cass so I’m trying to give us a higher chance of getting it right.”
Damian: “Richard or myself, but I believe Cassandra would be a promising candidate.”
—|—
Bruce: “Who ever is making me worried or aggravated the least at the given moment I’m asked. Right now it’s Dick because he’s been in New York for two weeks with the titans. Jason would also be in the running but he blew up a building ten days ago for no reason. They’ve all done something they shouldn’t have in the last forty eight hours.”

I'll teach you how to fuck like a man. You'll learn to top, unlearning all that bullshit they tried to put in your beautiful man brain about bottoming or being "holes to use" or whatever.
I'm gonna jerk and suck you off until you finally let out those deep grunts and groans. Your dick better pulse and twitch when you come in my mouth, too.
And if you didn't sufficiently shove me further onto it or buck your hips into my face forcefully enough, we'll just have to keep going until I'm satisfied. You can take it. You're a man. And I'll make you fuck like one.

I have had these thoughts bubbling away in my head for like...eighteen months or so now (it will become very obvious why shortly) but the discussion in this post has pushed me to write them down: I think societally we HUGELY underestimate how motherhood for primary caregivers, particularly first-time motherhood, can be a source of vulnerability to radicalisation.
There is obviously huge cultural variance here, but for a lot of cis women becoming primary caregiver to an infant in a capitalist Western society represents a time of immense vulnerability because in general you are:
Incredibly sleep-deprived (which has well-documented knock-on effects for your judgement, mental health, etc)
If you gave birth, recovering from a significant challenge to your physical health (even in the best-case scenario)
Isolated from your previous networks and communities of people in full-time work
Completely separated from the context of your prior career goals and achievements
Under huge amounts of stress to learn how to care for an infant (don't get me started on breastfeeding)
And on top of this, you are also be experiencing a huge amount of messaging about how all this is natural, wonderful, something you're meant to do, something you should love doing, and something that you must do for the welfare of their child. It's a huge amount of pressure and life change even when everything goes right and there's very little cultural space to express negative feelings about it.
Any group of people who offer community, support, and affirmation to cis women in this situation are going to have a really good shot at radicalising them into some very weird and dangerous headspaces and in fact we see this happen all the time - think antivaxxers and TERFs. It flies under the radar because of the hazy positive glow that associates with motherhood and babies and also because we don't take the radicalisation of women seriously I guess because they rarely shoot anybody, but...yeah. It is such a vulnerable time!
