Hozier - Too Sweet
(Official lyric video)
Someone on a Kotaloy Discord server posted this song as Sexy Music for writing smut to and I was at first 🤔. This does not match my headcanon for the two characters at all… and yet the music definitely matches all my parameters for feeling sexual tension into some form of climax. And it is strangely compelling to me… but I cannot imagine a scene for this ship.
Back burner.
And then a bit later, after putting my foot in my mouth as usual, crossing several boundaries even though I repeatedly asked for consent/permission as usual, and breaking several rules as usual, crying all night and dropping all WIPs as I back away, I realize this song is:
MY relationship with most of the people on the Discord Server.
Yeah, gonna take a break from torturing myself for a while and just play the game and write a bit or maybe just listen to podcasts until my PMDD hormones don’t line up with a Mercury Cazimi Full Moon squaring Uranus at the same time as a Venus - Saturn opposition squaring Jupiter with a little hint of the upcoming Venus square Mars.
(That’s not a good time to publish romance/smut and wait for feedback about it.)
Because when all that isn’t going on, I can be alright with the fact that only about 4% of people like my vibe. Because those people really do like my vibe and I like theirs.
(4% of the world’s random sampling of a population is still a lot of people.)
(4% is the number of people who voted for Elizabeth Warren in the 2020 Democratic primaries when I in my bubble thought she was the clear choice and I realized that 4% of people showing up is the population size of My People)
Anyway,
General Pop Kotaloy peeps: you’re too sweet for me. I’m gonna take my coffee black* and my bed at 3**
*half-caff with coconut milk and half-sweet cardamom syrup ***
** or 5am, last night/this morning***
***Because I am a concrete details girlie. Graphic, TMI levels of concrete details.
In the meantime,
Hozier music on repeat with intermittent episodes of the You’re Wrong About podcast and its podcastematic universe like If Books Could Kill and Maintenance Phase and 5-4 Pod.

Endometriosis Awareness
Yes, I am rehashing from an old post but I’ve added alot more to it. March is Endometriosis Awareness Month March is Endometriosis Awareness Month What is Endometriosis? In layman’s terms, it’s when the cells the are supposed to live in the uterus also live outside the uterus. What does that mean? Well, it means those misplaced cells act like they would it they were in the right place. They…

YOUR BEGINNER GUIDE TO CYCLE SYNCING — DIVINE FEMININE
Tumblr media
based on a health link article
Cycle syncing is when we match our menstrual cycle to our health lifestyle, such as nutrition and exercise. By using your menstrual cycle as a guide of your health throughout, you become in tune of your hormonal needs
Our menstrual cycle has 3 distinct phases excluding your period, which occur over a month.
Follicular(menstruation happens in this phase). Lasts for 6-14 days. Estrogen and progesterone are increasing.
Ovulatory. Lasts for 15-17 days. Estrogen is at its peak, testosterone and progesterone are increasing.
Luteal. Lasts for 18-28 days. Estrogen and progesterone are high, but if the egg stays unfertilised, the hormones decrease and the cycle repeats.
EXERCISE
Menstrual/Follicular
Your hormones are at its lowest, so light exercise and cardio is better suited for your stamina here. Yoga, walking, stretching, jogging
Ovulation
Hormones are increasing, so high intensity exercises are suited for this phase as your energy is higher. gym, cycling, skip rope, running, HIIT
Luteal
As your body prepares itself for another cycle, energy may be low, so light or moderate exercise is best. Pilates, ab exercises, any strength training
NUTRITION
Menstrual/follicular
Your Estrogen will begin to increase in this stage. Drink warm beverages to help with cramps. Despite your cravings, limit fatty/oily foods, caffeine and watch your sodium intake. Eat foods that help with metabolising your estrogen.
broccoli, sauerkraut, cabbage, high quality meats, cauliflower, spinach, sesame seeds, flaxseeds
Ovulation
Your estrogen is the highest so opt for foods that support your liver, protect you from environmental toxins(as they can impact your hormones) and are anti-inflammatory.
Leafy greens, whole grains, eggs, legumes, high quality meat & fish, garlic, almonds, whole fruits
Luteal
Estrogen and progesterone are high, but will begin to decrease. Magnesium rich foods to help fight fatigue, and foods that help with serotonin are best.
Leafy greens, quinoa, buckwheat, dark chocolate, spinach, pumpkin seeds, sweet potatoes, beans, avocado
This is the phase when your cycle is beginning to repeat, so you want to ensure that your diet is optimal. Avoid caffeinated drinks, sugar, deep fried foods and high amounts of dairy.
To start implementing these changes to your lifestyle, track your cycle and begin to identify how long each phase lasts for. Pay attention to how your body responds to each phase.
with that, I wish you luck 💖🎀 i hope we all stay healthy and happy together 👏

Ritual [Sanji x Reader]
🔞 MINORS DNI 🔞
“Do you want me to do the thing?” He whispered.
The ‘thing’ was a ritual you had formed after he'd discussed your painful menstruation with Chopper, desperate for a way to help you. The many desserts he'd lovingly make you could only help so much. Chopper had listed various things that would help the pain; anti-inflammatories, heat packs, orgasms, pressure, potassium. He'd said it so nonchalantly that Sanji almost missed it.
CW: menstruation, menstrual sex, embarrassment, shame, afab reader

Tumblr media
You didn't get your period every month, it was pretty irregular, but when it did happen it came hard and fast. The first two days at least usually left you bed ridden, writhing in pain. Sanji had been your official boyfriend for just over a year now, and was pretty familiar at this point with the effect your cycle had on you and the pain it caused you.
You'd woken up with it today, it'd come without warning and you felt the cold, damp blood that soaked the sheet as you rolled over, groaning at the knife in your abdomen. Sanji heard you groan, and wrapped an arm around you.
“Everything okay?” He asked you gently.
“No,” you told him, flinging his arm off, climbing out of the bed, “I've ruined the sheets again.”
He lifted the blanket and saw the small blood stain. It really wasn't as bad as you thought, but you were embarrassed and smacked his hand away from the blanket. “Don't look at it!” You growled.
“There's nothing to be ashamed of,” he said, climbing out of bed and stripping the sheet, while you stood covering your quickly reddening face with your hands. “It's fine baby, I'll take care of it,” he said, balling the sheet up in his hands.
You tried to take it from him, but he wouldn't let you. No matter how many times you had your period around him he couldn't convince you that it was nothing to be embarrassed about. He truly did not mind, as long as you weren't actually hurt he was fine seeing your blood. But you were overcome with shame every time it came around, the sense that it was taboo deeply ingrained in you.
He took your hand gently, pulling it from your face, and replaced it with his own, cupping your cheek. “Does it hurt badly?” He asked, full of concern.
“Yeah..” you replied, closing your eyes and putting your hand over his, holding it to your cheek. He pulled you close into a hug.
It'd been hard to convince you the first time, but after he'd done it you found your cramps significantly lessened. As embarrassed as you were, you knew it was the most effective pain reliever you had available.
You sighed, knowing that it was what you needed, even if it was hard to admit. You were still timid about it. You realized Sanji didn't mind the blood, but you minded, so he'd found a way to help you that made you the most comfortable and made you feel the most like he couldn't see anything.
You nodded against his chest, and he hugged you a little harder, before letting go of you slowly to find you a clean set of clothes. He found you a comfortable tshirt, and dark sweatpants. He picked out dark, very unsexy, panties. He knew at this point what kind of clothes you wanted when you were on your cycle.
He picked up his dirty, long sleeved shirt that he'd thrown on the floor the night before, and wrapped it around your waist so nobody would see the blood on your pajama pants if you happened to pass anyone in the hall. Finally he took your hand and gently led you to the bathroom.
You both knew the routine well at this point, the one that made you feel the most comfortable. He locked the door behind you, placed your clothes on the vanity, turned on the shower to an appropriate temperature, then turned to face the wall so he couldn't see you. You quickly removed your clothes, piling them in the corner and hiding your blood soaked panties and pants under your shirt, then you stepped into the shower.
You rinsed away the blood from your rump and thighs, and tried to clean between your legs. Sanji didn't move from his spot until he heard the shower head being put back in its holder. He quickly discarded his pajamas and slid into the shower with you.
He knew he wasn't allowed to touch anywhere below your waist except to do what he needed to do, so instead he just kissed you softly. You didn't need to be warmed-up, due to your condition, so he didn't need to worry about that, but he wanted to make you feel good anyway so he took your breasts in his hands and fondled them gently, playing with your nipples till he elicit a small moan from you.
At the same time his own arousal was growing, but considering the speed of things he did still need a little help, so you reached down and stroked him gently, feeling him harden in your hand. He moaned into your mouth as you touched him, you'd been together for long enough now to know what he liked best, not that it was ever difficult to please Sanji.
You didn't like to wait too long though, you wanted to be done with it, and your body cried out in pain, desperately needing the relief he could give you. You pulled away from him as soon as you felt he was hard enough. He knew this was his signal to do his work.
“Front or back?” He asked you.
“Back,” you replied, turning and leaning against the wall, arching your back for him.
He wasted no time in sliding up behind you, aligning himself with your entrance. “Okay?” he asked you.
“Mmmhmm,” you replied.
He held your hip gently with his free hand as he slowly entered you. He was careful to allow you time to adjust, patiently gliding in to you. You moaned softly as he finished working his way in, and he kissed you lovingly on the shoulder. You reached back and grabbed his hips, holding him still for a moment while you quietly acclimated to the fullness. When you were ready you let go, and he slowly began to pump in to you.
He grunted quietly as he moved and you moaned at the erotic sounds he was making. He slowly increased his pace bit by bit. He pressed his forehead against your shoulder as he fucked you, and you felt the way his love radiated to you. Suddenly you felt less embarrassed, taking comfort in the way he wanted you unconditionally, and the dedication he took in making you feel safe and secure.
“Sanji,” you whispered, “front…”
He was surprised, you'd never asked to change position during this ritual, and it was rare for you to want to face him at all while you were like this. But you needed to see his face, you needed to look in to his eyes. He pulled out of you without question so you could turn around, and you quickly connected his lips with yours. He pressed you again the wall and lifted one of your legs, sliding back inside you. You moaned in to this mouth and ran your hands through the hair on the back of his head.
You forgot about your pain and your shame, consumed by him. He felt the way your need for him grew, and he groaned against your tongue as he lifted your other leg. You wrapped them around him as he pinned you to the wall, fucking you harder. One arm wrapped around his shoulders, the other reaching up to find support on anything you could, sliding helplessly against the wall as he thrust in to you.
He broke the kiss, panting hard, desperately kissing and sucking at your neck, grunting against your skin as you moaned loudly. You'd never been this feral and wanting during the ritual, usually it was a quick in and out. You were desperate for him, crying out his name, pulling at his hair and scratching his back.
Your first orgasm came on hard, squeezing around him and crying in to his shoulder with pleasure. He didn't stop even for a second, relentless in his pursuit of your high. He relished the way you called out his name, the sweet moans you made as your pussy gripped his cock.
Taken by the fever you'd set in him, he bit your neck, not hard enough to break skin, but enough to hurt a little, and you cried out. It hurt, definitely, but it was also incredibly arousing. You dug your nails in to his back, returning the favour, and he moaned against your neck, vibrating the delicate area he had bitten.
He kissed and sucked at your neck and your jaw, gripping your thighs tight where he held you against the wall, plunging in to you as hard as he could. You walls tightened around him again as your second climax came, and you cried out for him, as his face pressed against your shoulder and he came with you, both shaking uncontrollably.
He put you back down, his cock no longer inside you but still held between your thighs. He lent against the shower wall, his arms either side of you, breathing heavy. You wrapped your arms around his waist, trying to keep yourself upright.
He looked at you and all you saw in his eyes was pure love. You kissed him tenderly, cupping his cheek with your hand, stroking it gently with your thumb. When you pulled away he sighed.
The pain in your abdomen had left, the endorphins released by your orgasms acting as a natural pain relief, and your muscles spasming in the throes of lovemaking having helped relieve some of the pressure from inside you.
“Better?” he asked you, his arms slipping around you and holding you tight.
You replied with a content cooing as you closed your eyes, and he smiled at you, relieved to have been able to help you. You stayed wrapped in his arms for a while, the water from the shower washed over you both and cleared away any mess. Neither of you moved till the shower ran cold. Even then you refused to move, not wanting the heat of his skin against yours to ever leave.

The biochemical properties of raspberry leaf tea and its effects on the female reproductive system🌸🌿
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Abstract
Raspberry leaf tea, derived from the leaves of Rubus idaeus, has been traditionally used to support female reproductive health. This article delves into the biochemical properties of raspberry leaves, focusing on their potential mechanisms of action within the female reproductive system. We explore the active compounds, their pharmacodynamics, optimal timing for consumption during the menstrual cycle, recommended dosages, and duration of use.
Introduction
Raspberry leaf tea is widely regarded in herbal medicine for its benefits on the female reproductive system. The leaves are rich in bioactive compounds such as flavonoids, tannins, and alkaloids, which are believed to positively influence uterine function, hormone regulation, and menstrual health.
Tumblr media
Biochemical composition of raspberry leaves
The leaves of Rubus idaeus contain a variety of active compounds:
Flavonoids: including quercetin and kaempferol, which have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and estrogenic properties.
Tannins: primarily ellagitannins, contributing to the astringent and tonifying effects on the uterus.
Alkaloids: fragrine, known for enhancing uterine muscle tone.
Vitamins and minerals: Rich in vitamins A, C, E, and B-complex, along with minerals like calcium and magnesium that are crucial for reproductive health.
Mechanisms of action
Uterine tonification
Fragrine, an alkaloid found in raspberry leaves, enhances uterine muscle tone by modulating calcium channels in the myometrium. This action promotes mild contractions, which may prepare the uterus for labor and potentially reduce postpartum hemorrhage by improving uterine strength.
Hormonal regulation
The flavonoids quercetin and kaempferol exhibit estrogenic activity by interacting with estrogen receptors. These compounds may modulate the menstrual cycle and alleviate symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) by balancing estrogen levels. Additionally, their antioxidant effects help reduce oxidative stress, a contributor to reproductive disorders.
Menstrual cycle modulation
Tannins in raspberry leaves provide astringent effects that can regulate heavy menstrual bleeding by promoting vascular constriction and reducing capillary permeability. The anti-inflammatory properties of flavonoids also help alleviate dysmenorrhea by reducing prostaglandin synthesis, which is responsible for menstrual pain.
Antioxidant protection
Raspberry leaves are rich in antioxidants, including vitamins C and E, which protect reproductive tissues from oxidative damage, potentially mitigating conditions like endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Optimal timing and dosage
Phase of the menstrual cycle
Raspberry leaf tea is most beneficial when consumed during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle (from ovulation to the start of menstruation). During this phase, the uterine lining is preparing for potential pregnancy, and the tonifying effects of raspberry leaves can support uterine strength and reduce PMS symptoms.
Additionally, raspberry leaf tea is commonly recommended during the third trimester of pregnancy to help prepare the uterus for labor.
Recommended dosage
The typical dosage is 1-2 cups of raspberry leaf tea per day. Each cup is made by steeping 1-2 teaspoons of dried raspberry leaves in 250 ml (about 8 ounces) of boiling water for 10-15 minutes.
Duration of use
For menstrual health: begin drinking raspberry leaf tea from the day of ovulation and continue until the start of menstruation. This typically lasts for about 10-14 days per cycle.
For pregnancy: start drinking 1 cup daily from the 32nd week of pregnancy, gradually increasing to 2-3 cups daily as the due date approaches. Continue until childbirth.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Potential clinical applications
Pregnancy support
Raspberry leaf tea is recommended during the later stages of pregnancy to strengthen uterine muscles, potentially leading to more efficient contractions and shorter labor.
Menstrual regulation
For women experiencing irregular or heavy menstrual cycles, raspberry leaf tea can help regulate the cycle, reduce menstrual flow, and alleviate PMS symptoms.
Postpartum recovery
The tea can support postpartum recovery by promoting uterine involution and reducing the risk of hemorrhage. Its nutrient content also aids in replenishing vitamins and minerals lost during childbirth.

I'm still so bitter about how the trans community never told me the negative effects of T and binding. I'm so lucky that I didn't do any of those things, bc now I know they would bring me extensive pain, destroy my whole menstrual cycle, skeleton structure, and overall well-being forever.
I learned about it from people the trans cult despises the most, women that they are calling terfs. They saved my life, my dear friend saved my life because she found Radblr and showed me that my feelings are valid outside of the gender spectrum and that it's okay to be just a woman. I know if not for her and this wonderful community I would have gone through T and probably let my boobs be cut off even though I did like how I looked before entering the trans cult.
I'm so bitter about being lied to by omission, by a community that was supposed to protect me from this big bad world.
And the funny thing is, I feel so much better now, I don't have to take my anti-depression meds, because I'm genuinely happy and at one with, my body now. The big bad everyone around me was screaming about saved my life and I know I'm not the only one.
There are many like me out there and many women who weren't so lucky and now are detransitioning (51k just on Reddit).
My rage has no end and I'll fight for every single one of those women. They deserve to feel as happy and at home as I do now. I know I can't do much, but maybe I'll stir something in those lost women by telling my story. I really hope I do.

Lil Kalish at HuffPost:
When Heather Crawford walked into a Minnesota public school to enroll her teenager in August 2022, she was ready for a fight. More than anything, she wanted her then-15-year-old, Cass, who is nonbinary and trans, to be safe at school, to have their name and pronouns respected, and to be able to use the restroom without fear. The school registrar told Crawford not to worry and handed her a form where she could note Cass’ pronouns for the school’s records. “I was ready for a fistfight, and it was just as simple as a piece of paper,” Crawford said, recalling that she felt such a wave of relief that she broke down crying in the office. “It’s so fantastic knowing that the state is not only not actively trying to harm my child but is actively trying to protect them,” she added. “It’s comforting on a level I can’t really fully articulate.” The Crawfords had uprooted their entire lives to move from Austin, Texas, to St. Paul, Minnesota, after years of watching Texas Republicans enact increasingly hostile policies targeting trans kids. They worried their family might be next.
The final straw for Crawford came in February 2022, when Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) directed Texas’ child protective services to perform “child abuse” investigations against parents who helped their children get gender-affirming care. Until then, Cass and their parents had been working with a pediatric gender care doctor in Austin who prescribed medication to suppress Cass’ menstrual cycle. Cass, who uses both they and he pronouns, dreamed about getting top surgery. They also wanted to start testosterone but had to wait to make sure they weren’t at risk for a genetic cancer that was triggered by changes in hormones. Crawford was frightened that her support of this care could put Cass and their family at risk from Texas officials. She set her eyes on Minnesota in part because of dozens of progressive and trans-inclusive policies championed by Gov. Tim Walz (D), who took the national stage last week when Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris announced him as her running mate.
Crawford’s friends had gushed to her about Walz, a former teacher and veteran with a track record of supporting LGBTQ+ rights dating back to at least 1999 when he became the first faculty adviser for a high school’s gay-straight alliance. Minnesota had long been praised as one of the most LGBTQ-friendly places in the Midwest. In 1993, it became the first state in the country to outlaw discrimination based on sexual orientation. In 2021, as anti-LGBTQ+ legislation reached a record high in state legislatures across the country, Walz, who was finishing up his first term as governor, signed an executive order banning conversion therapy. “Our kids deserve to grow up in a state that values them for who they are — not one that tries to change them,” he said in a statement at the time.
Last year, Walz helped enact further protections for transgender youth who were traveling to Minnesota for their health care. He signed an executive order to protect access to gender-affirming care for out-of-state patients, their families and medical providers. Walz also signed a trio of bills that further safeguarded access to abortion, banned conversion therapy and made Minnesota into a “trans refuge.” The state currently boasts the largest number of openly LGBTQ+ legislators in state history, and they make up the “queer caucus” that advocated heavily for policies that Walz later signed. Crawford, who is now a vocal advocate for trans youth, admits she hasn’t always been supportive. When Cass first came out in 2019, she reacted “as badly as you can.” But after Cass attempted suicide that year, she saw how wrong she was and worked to help Cass socially transition, legally change their name and receive bathroom accommodations at school.
This HuffPost article on how Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) turned his state into a bulwark of trans safe refuge in the Midwest hits the jackpot, including a story on a Texas couple moving to the Land of 10,000 Lakes to protect the safety of their trans child.

I need some advice. I feel like I'm dying. Going through the worst period cramps ever (never had this in the past 11 years), it literally feels like someone is stabbing my cervix, uterine walls and the pathway walls (I feel a bit shy calling it what it is...like a normal woman). Its so bad, I've never had it like this before. Has to do with the fact I was having isues, doc put me on meds, as soon as the dosage was done: red sea spilleth over.
Know any home remedies to help? Or just any other advice to deal with this? Can't go to the doc rn, she'll suggest to hold off pain meds, I am taking over the counter anti-inflammatory stuff..yk the one for fevers and other pains. Its not working. Its been so debilitating...I can't sleep, sit, breathe, do anything...yk the type of pain that makes you bend and make your mouth water...idk if that happens to anyone else but yeah....
OMGGG 😩😨😨😓that sounds soooo rough, I hope you're feeling better now???
I have taken meftal spas for cramps since I was maybe 16-17 years old. Idk if that's available in other parts of the world??? but its widely available in India and its specifically for period cramp induced pain<333 I'm not a doctor so pls don't take any medication without exercising caution first!!! you may not react well to it or it may have adverse effects bc of the medication you're already taking ://// 😩😩
on that note, practicing yin yoga (which focuses on releasing stress from the hip area/psoas muscles) has greatly changed my reproductive system as a whole tbh, my sex drive changed, my relationship with my body changed (like even the way i walk changed bc my hips loosened up, which meant i walked more "freely" dont tell me its woowoo,, yk can just tell when someone's body is very "frozen" or "stiff" looking) and yesss my menstrual cycle was immensely affected by it.
i used to have HORRIBLE cramps, irregular cycles, HEAVY bleeding etc in my mid-late teens (this was because of trauma + eating disorder, in case u wanted to know) and now? my period is 3 days long, light bleeding, little to no pain and i attribute alllll of that to yoga<3
now i specifically like to do certain mudras and asanas (poses) which are supposed to help the female body specifically
and while this can help u when u are on your period, i suggest making it part of your lifestyle and living according to your monthly cycle's phases so that you can experience smoother periods. i dont think its realistic to do them if you're experiencing immense pain 😭
Tumblr media
Legs-Up-The-Wall Pose (Viparita Karani)
This pose is known for increasing blood flow to the pelvic region which helps enhance the health of your reproductive organs.
Tumblr media
2. Baddha konasana aka butterfly pose
helps the uterus<333
Tumblr media
3. balasana or child's pose
tbh this might actually help even if ur ON your period, lying down like this is soooo soothing and comforting. ppl overcomplicate yoga, when the reality is that holding your body in certain poses can emotionally feel very comforting/freeing/nourishing etc but then again im only familiar with yin yoga/restorative yoga (there are manyyyy different types of yoga)
Tumblr media
4. happy baby pose
as the name suggests this is how babies lay down and they seem happy for no reason,, i remember the first time i consciously did this pose and i was like???? this is yoga??? bc i would randomly do poses like these for no reason in bed (im sure we all do when we're bored) and if i intentionally do it?? its actually good for me??
again this pose helps with the hip muscles!!! the female body is always preparing for childbirth. regardless of whether or not you want to be a mom, taking care of your womb health and reproductive well being is CRUCIAL bc whether we like it or not we were designed this way and dont think of it as "preparing my body to bear children" just think of it as "preparing my body to be at its best" (the bearing kids is just a bonus) .. the state of your womb affects your whole being!!! its not a joke!!!
now here's some mudras:
Tumblr media
yoni mudra
yoni means womb and as u can see, this pose imitates the 🫣🫣 its a highly beneficial mudra for women and helps with overall pelvic health. you can do it sitting cross legged. i like to chant mantras and do this pose,, it kicks in quicker or smthng idk 😳but it feels ✨
Tumblr media
2. prana mudra
do this mudra on both hands btw!!
prana means life force
this mudra helps with overall immunity and pain management!!!
Tumblr media
3. prithvi mudra
prithvi means earth and this mudra helps balance the earth element in your energetic system which means its gives you strength, resilience and physical energy (in case u feel tired, fatigued etc for no reason) as those are the qualities of the earth
now for some pranayamas
Bhramari/ honeybee buzzing
youtube
this is my fav bc its so simple and easy to do!! and who doesn't want to buzz like a bee??? 🥰😍
2. anulom vilom
youtube
this is also a very simple pranayam for beginners
the whole idea is to get your body into a state of relaxation so that you dont operate from a place of stress or anxiety. you can just feel peaceful all the time. imagine being that unbothered!!
sorry for going off on a tangent (me with every post lmao) these are some beginner friendly yoga asanas/mudras/pranayamas (all of which are diff components of yoga) that u can try when u feel comfortable!!
NOW about alleviating pain ASAP:
Tumblr media
hot water bag
put that thing on ur stomach and lie down (after taking medicine) my mom used to do this all the time and it helped her a lot
2. roobois tea
i drink roobois tea almost everyday hehe but its said to help alleviate menstrual cramps 🤔and lower blood pressure,,
3. chamomile tea
is also said to help with period pain :o
4. look into your diet, sleep, overall lifestyle
you may not have had pain of this sort before but babe NOW UR A WOMAN ✨and u have to look at your lifestyle and ensure that its something that helps a woman's body feel rested and calm
being stressed all the time can take a physical toll on you and lead to all kinds of diseases later in life!! its in your best interest to RELAX
idk how much this helped 😭😭the most convenient thing to do would be to take medicine but u said u can't so :((( hot water bag + roobois tea???
ALSOOOO always wear socks during your period and keep your feet covered. i have sensitive feet so i wear socks at home often (this is uncommon in india, where we have a tropical climate lmao) BUT KEEP THOSE FEET COVERED,, there's some kind of science behind it but i dont remember it lmao,, all i know is that it makes me bleed less<333 and have more cozy periods and sleep better<33
ALSOOOO,, this could be an old wives tale but it worked for me (but im also delusional😍) eating dark chocolate and/or having a spoon of oil on day 1 of your period makes your period go smoothly?? 😭😭😭there's no harm in trying hehe
ALSOOO and ive never tried this but heating up like a tablespoon of oil and applying it to the bellybutton area 😳😳can help alleviate period pain 😳😳
lastly and most importantly, im just a girlblogger and NOT A MEDICAL EXPERT so pls dont put urself in an adverse position bc of something i said 😭😭😭
love always,
heaven ✨

Mays Menstrual Cycles
As most of us know, our cycles and the moon are super connected.
Some of us may have been experiencing irregular periods this month as well as cycles changing from new moon to full moon or vice versa.
Taking care of our bodies is crucial especially WOMB HEALING 💌
My fave things for when my cycle is here:
Raspberry Leaf Tea - contains powerful antioxidants & anti inflammatory properties which can help reduce menstrual cramps as well as bloating
Grapes & grape juice - can be very beneficial due to having nutrients such as potassium, copper, vitamin A & C as well as pantothenic acid which can help reduce inflammation and replenish iron levels that may be unbalanced
Castor oil - has been a natural womb healing tool for many years to alleviate menstrual pain and cramps. It’s power to help stimulate blood circulation may give some a heavier flow but with less pain and discomfort
Heat absorbed/self heating socks - can be used as a form of heat therapy. Heat therapy during our menstrual cycles is very important due to our bodies experiencing lots of inflammation
Warming pads - placing warmth directly on our abdomens & lower backs should be our #1 thing! Placing warmth in these areas can help relax uterine contractions which means less painful cramps. Warming pads can be anything! I’ve once had to use a bottle with hot water and it worked just the same as my electric heating pad.
For our summer months June/July/August womb healing will be very important!!

You'll see the most insane 1920s view of race or gayness being expressed and it will be by a 20yro with a fandom blog
Progress isn't linear but it's always a little shocking when the racism, homophobia or sexism is very old school and it's from someone that's not as old as my menstrual cycle but they're pretending what they're saying is actually real anti-racism

Rebinding
Word Count: 600 words
A/N: While some of these may not be true in your state, I did some research into a few different states to keep this as factual as possible. Is Mel and Jacob’s solution the best one? Maybe not. But Jacob is correct, in some states you can face jail time of 2 ½ years. All of the books mentioned have been banned or challenged at some point in history. Some books are banned or challenged because they make us feel uncomfortable with how they show us our history. We should not be comfortable learning about the things we did wrong. Books are important and should be available to everyone. There are many reasons some of these books are banned and if I had listed all of them, this would have been a lot longer. Anyways, this is super short and thrown together before I head to bed but I hope you enjoy it!
Tumblr media
“I can’t believe this,” Jacob said from his seat at the kitchen island.
“Are you reading who gives a crap biweekly again,” Melissa asked, rolling her eyes as she assembled her lasagna.
“Mel Mel, they’re banning books!”
“What do you mean they’re banning books?”
“I mean, if our school library keeps copies of these books, we could face criminal charges!”
“Let me see that,” Melissa said, dusting off her hands, “you must be reading it wrong”
Jacob passed her his phone and set his head in his hands as she started reading aloud:
“A Light in the Attic by Shel Silverstein…Encouraging bad behavior? A Wrinkle in Time…Witchcraft? Animal Farm…Encouraging revolt? Fahrenheit 451…Hang on, they do recognize the irony in banning that, right?”
Jacob grimaced and gestured for her to keep reading.
“James and the Giant Peach for Witchcraft, The Giver for violence, To Kill a Mockingbird for racial slurs, Where’s Waldo for NUDITY?”
“Yeah, that one I did find kind of amusing,” Jacob said
“Well I don’t see any history or nonfiction books so it doesn’t affect your class…” Melissa said.
“Keep scrolling.”
“The Diary of A Young Girl…that’s Anne Frank. It’s banned for homosexual themes. I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings…‘anti white sentiment’? A People’s History of the United States for ‘Leftist Propaganda?”
“See! This is bad! These books are important!”
Melissa handed his phone back, humming thoughtfully as she turned back to her lasagna. After a few minutes, she turned back to him.
“Jacob, what do you know about binding books?”
“Not a lot. Why?”
“I think Book Nook number 3 is going to have to wait.”
The next day, Melissa and Jacob checked out as many books as they could fit in her car from the school library and brought them home.
“Are you sure we should be doing this?” Jacob asked nervously, stroking the spine of ‘And Tango Makes Three’ (banned because the penguins are gay).
“Do you want the kids to be able to read these or not?” Melissa asked, carefully removing the cover of ‘Are You There God, It’s Me, Margaret’ (Banned because of content relating to menstrual cycles).
“Of course I do!” Jacob said.
“Get to work then,” Melissa said, passing him the new covers portraying state approved books to put on the banned books.
Together, they worked through the night and into the next day, replacing covers for ‘The Wizard of Oz’ (promotion of socialist values), ‘The Lorax’ (Being anti-logging), and ‘The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe’ (Mysticism). Around noon the next day, a knock on the door jolted them from their work.
“Who is it?” Melissa called.
“Reinforcements!”
Melissa opened the door to the rest of the Abbott Crew, plus Kristin Marie.
“What are you all doing here?”
“I invited them,” Jacob said, “Please don’t be mad. There’s so many books to rebind before Monday.”
“I brought wine!” Janine sang, rushing to the kitchen to get glasses.
Melissa yawned and stepped aside to let them all in. Barbara smiled softly and held the redheads arm.
“You and Jacob are doing a good thing,” she said softly, “But it’s time for us to take over. You go to bed. We’ll take care of this.”
Melissa nodded gratefully and climbed the stairs, glancing down at her work family and smiling. She’d never admit it, but she kind of liked having people in her house. They were all crowded around the table, a glass of wine and a book in each of their hands.
“For the kids!” Jacob said, lifting his glass in a toast.
Melissa mimed raising a glass to him as she headed to her room.
“For the kids,” she whispered, collapsing into bed.
