The Hunger Games/Atla

The president of district 1 tried to make his two children be the best, and only one was supposed to succeed.

Azula is the most complete professional, even in collecting food.

Zuko along with his mother studied plants and berries, not knowing that this would save him and his sister in the future.

Ursa fled District 1 after trying to poison Ozai, and only to try to save her daughter.

Zuko was ignored by everyone in District 1, except for his sister and her friends.

Azula specialized in fire, and unbeknownst to her father she tried to impress Mai and Ty Lee with flash paper.

Azula simply offers herself as a tribute in the games to be the best victor, not out of love for Mai, or that's what everyone believes.

After 73 games they finally had two siblings fighting in the same games.

Both siblings dressed like Royalty in the parade, thus taking the nickname of the Prince/Princess of the districts.

Ozai got several sponsors for Azula, he didn't mind giving Zuko too.

Zuko caught the attention of Iroh, who is the son of President Azulon.

In training they kept a low profile, until Jet threatened Zuko.

They met Toph at training after she tried to steal Zuko's knife.

Toph was the spark that ignited the rebellion, not Azula or Zuko as everyone believes.

Inside the games, it was Azula who got her hands dirty, luckily not Zuko and Toph, not yet.

Toph died, both siblings realized it's not fair like she said.

Zuko burned his face and nearly lost his hearing, while Azula burned her leg and lost a finger on her hand.

Zuko was willing to eat the berries for his sister to win, but it was Azula who told them both to do it.

Finally the games had two winners, Azulon is not happy.

Aroace Headcanon of the Day: Toph Beifong from The Last Airbender

While making these, I realized that I hadn't watched The Last Airbender in a little while. I left off on the episode where the crew reunited with Suki on their way to Ba Sing Se. I've only seen the first episode of the live action show, so I don't have too many thoughts about the live action at the moment.

I don't have too much to say on this post. But I've headcanon Toph as being Aroace. I'm definitely going to make more icons with the other Avatar and Legend of Korea characters in the future.

About the aroace Toph thing, I'm an aroace Toph truther. I just wanted to explain my perspective on it. Idk who's going around saying she's ace because she's blind, but the reason I always clock her as aroace is because, honestly

1. aroace vibes (coming from an aroace person),

2, her 'crush' on Sokka always felt to me as more an admiration mistaken for a crush. It's a thing I also did as a young aroace person. I remember there was one guy I really looked up to and so I was convinced I had a crush on him, but in all reality, I'd never actually want to date him, I just thought he was cool and wanted to be like him.

3. There's also how she is in LoK. She's just never shown strong or draw attachment to the idea of romance, treats it kinda flippantly like it's just a thing people do, and she's perfectlt content with a life without it. She just loves her daughters.

I'm not saying For Sure she's aroace, just that there are real grounds for aroace headcanons that are based in what life is like for an aroace person, again, coming from an aroace person. It can be nice to see yourself in a character you love and respect (even if Toph isn't my favorite)

Really tho, who's been saying she's aroace because she's blind????
