Gotta ask for aspec Dungeon Meshi

So I have not reached this part yet because apparently the person who has volume 9 ahead of me at the library is sitting on it for the full month checkout period and must've checked it out like the day before I placed the hold, but I know canonically Izutsumi is aro ace, right?

I like the idea that Laios is not interested in sex personally but could rattle off facts about monster sexual behaviors for hours if prompted. Laios discussing dragon mating rituals 🤝 me launching into my no sex in space rant.

I suspect Marcille has some hangups in that area given Dungeon Meshi is about the cycles of life and death which she struggles to accept, and reproduction is part of those cycles, but that's probably more a personal block than orientation.

I shall revisit this when I am done with the manga. Beaming psychic attacks at whoever has taken 3+ weeks to finish volume 9 or more likely just doesn't visit the library very often.
