I love you aromantic people. Here's some positivity for aromantics I see represented less. Aroallos – you're not selfish or immoral for only wanting sex, and I hope the representation we see of you in media catches up to the representation of us aroaces. Aromantic people who are in relationships or have a positive view of romance – your aromantic identity is valid; no one else can define how you see your orientation or your relationships. Romance repulsed aromantics – you're not immature for being repulsed by romance, I'm sorry we live in a world so saturated with romance that there are no spaces for you to get away from it. Arospec people who use microlabels – you have a right to identify however is helpful to you even if other people struggle to understand; your identity isn't 'useless' or 'too complicated'. To every aromantic person, you are so so valued; I love all of you. 💚🤍🩶🖤

Being lovequeer can cause a lot of problems sometimes bc my first instinct when I really like a character is to say I'm in love with them (I feel nothing romantic towards them and am simply spinning them in my brain at top speeds) and then people are like "OOOO YOU HAVE A CRUUSSSHH" and refuse to believe me when I say I don't

I really don’t see fellow aspecs come to the defense of demisexual and demiromantic people enough. more often than not I see them contribute to their ostracization. A lot of the time I see non-demi aspecs hop on the “but is demisexuality/demiromanticism real?” train of thought and it’s harmful. I have lost count of how many ace and aro people I have come across who were unsupportive of demisexual or demiromantic individuals. I shouldn’t have to ask y’all to care about or respect someone in your community. Just because you are aspec that doesn’t mean you understand or have to understand other aspec orientations. You can just respect people and move on.

our packer came and it’s nonhuman, eldritch-inspired, and more resembles a mouth than a dick and we had absolutely no idea how much joy this would bring us from an asexual angle. like yes we love it for nonhuman genderqueer trans man reasons but from an ace perspective, having something in our pants that isn’t really genitalia at all is incredible and idk how to explain it. if you’re looking for a hookup you gotta not only come to terms with our asexuality but also the eyes and teeth in our pants. this is great

it would rule if we treated types of attractions and relationships like we treat gender identity i.e. as a multifaceted spectrum that is inherently undefinable an account of its diversity and the fact that multiple people might experience a category of identity differently from each other. like just start calling people my girlfriend wife or my boyfriend in law.
