As a Man

I don’t strive to live a “Soft life”.

I live a life in Flow with who I am,the #FlowLife.

A Renaissance universal man.

A soft life for me just isn’t practical for my overall growth.

I don’t run away from difficulty that ultimately builds my development,character,and discernment .

I’m not a trend following guy. Too much of anything usually ends up a bad thing.

Balance is the sweet spot.

I like fly sh*t just like anybody else.

However, I get into books, architecture, different genres of music, locations, philosophy, learning about levels of decorum ,quantum theory ,etc.

Maybe I’m off, but the way I understand “soft life” seems like running away from any level of difficulty. To avoid stress on any plateau when that is apart of this entire experience. To display levels of wealth and luxury not earned. That you deserve the best of everything just for being alive. Nothing wrong with wanting the absolute best for you and yours. However,this philosophy isnt fit for a developing man. From the outside it’s cursory and superficial. You do not get anything (worth it) in life saying “That’s not soft enough. It’s too hard, I’m good!”. Betterment requires challenges! You will thank and be proud of yourself each time you come out the other side of the tunnel. Don’t follow the trends and lose your fervor because you thought you found a stress free way to live life, only to realize it’s a fabrication. We have to put effort and work …whether mental or physical for the things we want! Especially, as men!

Just to be clear theirs absolutely nothing wrong or feminine about taking care of yourself!

Take care of your skin, hair, clothes, environment,and make sure you smelling good etc.

Let’s leave that “Soft life” logic for the ladies…

We have other ideologies we can live by and this shit ain’t it.🤌🏽

A week has passed since I locked away my heart.

I already feel lighter, with their memories no longer floating above my head like the ghosts of balloons which were popped long ago.

They are always with me.

My first girl, J, with her ivory black hair and her full eyes, her melodic voice and her tinkering chuckle.

My first love, P, with his wide smile and friendly face, his love for making everything a game and racing everywhere.

My first orgasm, A, with his long golden hair and piercings everywhere, his rock music and his slow way to talk.

My first coincidence, R, with his honey curls, green eyes and sweet smile, his taste so similar to mine and his everlasting way of critiquing everything in a film.

My first crush after finding myself, An, with her redish curly locks, her daring dark eyes and her hourglass figure... her devilish smirk, her love for chaos and for loving almost everything I love.

I carry them with me wherever I go, my beloved almosts and yet nevers, the people who took a piece of my heart with them and whom I wonder if they think of me once in a while. I wish for them the entirety of the happiness they desire, I wish for them to be fulfilled and healed and surrounded by love... I wished I could have been one of the people there to love them, and I wonder if in other universes I am. I wonder if its true, what is said in Spider-Man! If there are infinite versions of me and how many of those versions get to be by their sides.

This version, nevertheless, is... just here. Meeting people I love endlessly and losing them all the same. Destined to be alone.

There's something so beautiful about platonic love. These people aren't around you for any particular gain other than just enjoying your company. You just get to be you and they get to be them and together you have this beautiful friendship. It can fill you with so much warmth, happiness and laughter.
