Adobe's Content Authenticity Initiative Just Got Better at Fighting Misinformation
There are obvious questions about the Content Authenticity Initiative by Adobe that still are being worked out. However, we have a lot of hope that it’s going to help the future of the web. One of the biggest problems the web currently faces is misinformation with generative AI imagery. So camera manufacturers have been working to prevent this from being a problem by integrating Content…

I was kind to myself today
kindness I should have allowed myself all along.
I cleaned my room, changed the bed, a hot shower, two glasses of cold water and some lotion on my body.
I was kind enough to light my favorite candle and do yoga by the flickering light.
I allowed myself the solitude and peace the midnight air holds.
I said it’s normal to feel, that my emotions are real.
I told my mind it’s okay to rest, and my heart it’s alright to love. The sun will rise in the morning.
I’d like to be kind more often.

Thoughts, Thoughts, Blog #12
by Saiya Soublet
Make Sum Noise Y'all!...WTF!
The feeling of not being good enough for the admirable eyes of others to be upon you is awful and has to go. Mostly because I feel as though I am getting over myself in the post-abuse existence I lived in for so long and am no longer afraid to shine for all, even those that I would not want to see me. That is simply something I cannot control, but I can control whether I am dimming my light or not. Where do I go from here?
Overnight success is a goal that I have always wanted to obtain, but I'm not too sure that I even truly have been wanting it deep down or if I have just been wanting what it brings. Of course you do, you say because it's so obvious for someone to want what comes with overnight success. And, you'd be right, duh. But with all that I have been doing and posting and saying and praying and believing, you'd like that I'd have...gotten it by now right? It feels like I'm a street artist that everyone just walks past. Do I stink or something? Or maybe I'm not as good as I think I am?
All thoughts that run through my head at the same time as I am trying to believe in myself. Contradictory at the very least and extremely stunting and frustrating at the most. So, what do I do? If I'm being honest...I don't really know. What I know is that I am a writer: of fiction, of poetry, of personal essays, even of my ow podcast episodes. I am a writer who just wants to write, but it seems as though writing does not make any money anymore. Or maybe it doesn't make money how I'd like it to make money, by being a content creator on social media. My content is tarot. My content is poetry. My content is short stories and podcasts, and I have been creating, so where is the dissonance. At this point, it may be within myself. It may be that I don't believe it to be possible to be this specific niche of content creator and being financially successful. It may be that I don't believe that I have the look or the personality or what it takes to be a content creator. It may be that I just haven't been doing or believing enough. It may be that my aversion to vapidness and lack of authenticity (and my ascribing those traits to social media itself) is not allowing me to be the content creator I want to be on platforms I'm not really favorable of.
I don't know. But what I do know is that I still will write.

new phannie here! I’ve been watching them with more dedication since like last summer and this was my first livestream. I enjoyed it! They are very much chaotic YouTubers but I feel they have created a good relationship with their audience and everyone knows what to expect and love the unseriousness of it all (dan not standing still a nano second of the preshow, shelves poking out of the green screen).
I didn’t get to see tit live and loved it! I think they exist in a very weird place - not as ‘good’/available as professional comedy/theatre act, but miles better than other influencer live shows. It’s clear they’re pandering to their existing audience. They know their appeal and what they have to give to the world and execute it very well. When it comes to creating a community/subculture and sustaining it, they’re the best in the business and that aspect really shines through in tit.
Aftershow was fun and very much them! I was - of course - aware of them pre hiatus but didn’t keep up because they didn’t feel fully authentic. Now I’d say they appear to be comfortable with the boundaries they have and that their personas are much more aligned with who they actually are.
All in all, great experience!
this is so interesting! yeah they definitely have a very strong brand and relationship with their fans, and i agree their live is stuff is like ridiculously better than other youtuber shows. they’re somehow unserious and completely serious and earnest in a way no one else is at the same time and it’s what makes them so special i think (part of it anyway)
i’m curious what about them made it feel inauthentic to u? like, i’ve been here since 2012 right, so when they post smth that i can tell they don’t care much about it’s very obvious bc of how well i know them at this point. but i am curious specifically what aspects made u as an outsider at the time feel that from them. did u try to watch them at some point? what content did u see that made u go “eh this isn’t very authentic” and move on, and during what time period if any specifically? no hate just genuinely wondering x

Why you should be creating online in your feminine energy
In a world where hustle culture and masculine energy often dominate the landscape, it's easy to overlook the transformative power of feminine energy. Embracing your feminine energy in content creation is not just a trend—it's a revolution. Here's why tapping into this divine force can elevate your content and resonate deeply with your audience.
1. Authenticity and Connection
Creating from your feminine energy is about embracing authenticity. This energy is intuitive, nurturing, and deeply connected to your true self. When you create from this place, your content radiates sincerity, making it easier for your audience to connect with you on a genuine level. People are drawn to authenticity, and by being true to yourself, you invite others to do the same.
2. Creativity and Flow
Feminine energy is inherently creative. It's about flowing with inspiration rather than forcing it. When you create content in your feminine energy, you're more likely to experience those "aha" moments where ideas seem to come effortlessly. This flow state not only makes content creation more enjoyable but also results in work that feels organic and inspired.
3. Intuition and Empathy
Feminine energy is intuitive and empathetic. It allows you to tune into the needs and desires of your audience with greater sensitivity. This means you can create content that truly resonates, addressing the pain points and aspirations of your followers. By understanding and empathizing with your audience, you can build a loyal community that feels seen and valued.
4. Balance and Harmony
Incorporating feminine energy into your content creation brings balance and harmony. It's about integrating the yin and yang, the masculine and feminine, within your work. While masculine energy might push you to set goals and achieve, feminine energy reminds you to nurture and sustain. This balance prevents burnout and ensures that your creative process is sustainable in the long run.
5. Magnetism and Attraction
There's a certain magnetism to feminine energy. It's alluring, captivating, and powerful in its softness. When you create from this space, your content naturally attracts those who resonate with your vibe. It's not about chasing followers but about drawing them in with your unique energy and essence.
6. Self-Care and Well-Being
Creating from your feminine energy is also about honoring your own well-being. It encourages self-care and self-compassion, reminding you to fill your own cup before you pour into others. This approach ensures that your content creation journey is not just about output but also about nurturing your own growth and happiness.
Embrace Your Feminine Energy
Incorporating feminine energy into your content creation is a powerful way to stand out in a crowded digital space. It's about creating from a place of authenticity, intuition, and empathy. By doing so, you not only produce content that resonates deeply with your audience but also cultivate a fulfilling and sustainable creative practice.
So, lean into your feminine energy, let your intuition guide you, and watch as your content blossoms into something truly magical and impactful.

barton being awkward at first or even completely throughout a whole interaction whenever he's trying to comfort people is so in character for him TBH and let me tell y'all why because i think it's important to his character:
he can fake a lot of things. barton can fake being nice to people, he can fake being innocent, and he can even fake having a much stronger sense of morality around people if he wants to — but whenever it comes to empathizing with someone on an emotional level... barton finds himself often struggling with faking it because of the nature of it. and this is due to it being different than whenever he's trying to feign something easily comprehensible like innocence. but empathy is something that's usually viewed as innate in us as humans and has to do with love, which doesn't depend on logic. it's something that comes from within, so it doesn't have clear parameters as to how you should do it, so whenever barton tries to fake it in the event that he's trying to make someone feel better; he'll stumble. and so although barton can cognitively empathize with someone, his efforts to actually put himself in other people's shoes fall flat, as he just can't physically imagine himself being in someone else's position probably more than half the time.
so if your muse were to ever come to him seeming upset, barton would likely not know what to do / how to comfort them, at least for a bit before referencing back on how he's seen other people do it. because i hate to say it (i don't, in reality, but y'all know what i mean LOL) but barton does actively mimic behaviors that he sees people do whenever he feels the absence of a certain emotion. he especially does this whenever he's trying to appear charming to other people, but like i said, he'll also try to use what he's seen his peers do as a guide as for what he should do in regards to empathy. and sometimes he may even seem a bit flustered before he's able to do this because he knows that it is expected of him to be able to empathize with people and can identify it in other people BUT knowing how to approach faking it has always been sort of hard for him even as an adult.
but yeahhh, that's just my own two cents about how barton sometimes break character that he is quote unquote ' normal, ' though he does try to mask this around people who aren't really familiar with him as simply being social awkwardness. however, it is part of a larger thing with him as despite the fact that he can blend in with the population REALLY well and also is pretty good at manipulating others, i suppose you could say that barton is still not an expert at ' constructing empathy ' because whenever someone is visibly hurt in front of him... he is more liable to act like he isn't sure what to do, than to put on an act immediately since he is likely to feel nothing first before anything else. and i realize that that is a rather unsettling thought, but i think that he is a lot more suspectible to doing this with people he doesn't know well / who he isn't particularly close to, as he's got a lot more practice with being falsely empathetic towards friends and/or sometimes even family members.
#OF MONSTERS AND MEN: musings.#YOUR NEED GREW TEETH: character study.#ANGER'S HELPED ME STAY ALIVE: headcanons.#yeah so i do know that this does bring up some questions because if barton mimics emotions then how do you know whether he's being truly-#genuine or not whenever he's interacting with someone? and wellll that is honestly a rather good question bc i feel like sometimes it IS-#probably hard to tell whether he is actually feeling these things rather than just putting on an act in front of people though i feel as if#it's possible that you'd be able to tell in general if you pay close attention to what his tells are for lying / i think humans just in-#general are able to sense whenever someone is not being 100% authentic and i believe i've mentioned this before BUT barton does sometimes-#give off weird / bad vibes sometimes so that could help another character figure out that he mayyy or may not be being real with them rn.#so yeahhh i know that this isn't the most happy or light thing go talk about at 10:30 in the morning on a Sunday but JSJSJ what can i sayyy#/ j JSJSJ nahhh I'm kidding around with y'all but i did promise you guys that I would post fluff so i still fully intend on doing that#my brain just decided it was time to explain some thing's about barton's behavior / some context behind it bc i always like delving deep-#Into my character like this (':#tw: potentially disturbing content.#tw: discussions of symptoms of a mental illness.#tw: mentions of manipulation.
