This was drawn within this year when I was first getting back into Dungeons and Dragons. He is a rune knight Warforged, created by one who obsessed over eltrich beings and craftsmanship.

This right here literally inspires me so much. Instantly: a scene breaks into my house and skitters right into my brain.

So basically I imagine that moment in “In Loving Memory” with Kenneth n Clyde but it’s interrupted with the discord ringtone. Clyde answers, casually switching to his usual pastra voice:

Pastra/Clyde: “Ayooo what’s up?”

Discord friend: “[insert dialogue] Wbu?”

Pastra/Clyde: “Oh me? Nothing much, just chilling,,, at home,,, chillin-“

but then he’s interrupted by a screaming Kenneth who claims Clyde is a

liar !!!

and Clyde just has to brush him off like: “BWAHAHAHHA WHHAAAATTTT???”

interesting attention to detail having the writers choose “vecna” to be the namesake of s4’s main villain– I mean, if you know anything about dnd lore then calling this monster vecna from the very start should have been an instant wake up call that the monster isn’t originally from the upside down, but was a human being once who got corrupted by his own power, trying to further his power to the point of becoming a monster almost unrecognizable as ever being human. i mean, the question always comes up with liches, “is any part of them still human?” and that’s exactly the question with henry, isn’t it?

anyway just thought it was an interesting point because though I didn’t think about it in the moment, using vecna for that namesake should have been a huge hint towards the truth behind what/who “vecna” is.

Triple Identity Crisis

Danny had a problem. If it was a big one, he couldn't tell yet but he was partially sure Clockwork was at fault for this. Or at least he wanted to blame his ghostly godparent who most likely just wanted to cause some chaos for entertainment with the pretext of helping Danny. Which was a very likely reason for why Danny had a problem right now.

As it was the former Fenton now Fenton-Wayne boy was pacing his room in the Manor trying to think what is next step should be, because as it was his 'new' family –Did new still apply if he was living with them for a little more than a year now? – knew him under three different Identities now. And to top it all off they were not aware that the three identities were all pretty much connected as one.

For one. His family, knew him as Danny, the space obsessed kid, who became a meta because of his ectobiology science obsessed parents and his teenager recklessness. A kid that was actually a genius if you gave him enough time for school and could make you anything out of a ancients be damed toaster. That was the Danny they mainly knew. The Kid they took in, let in on the family business and then chose, to the happiness of Alfred and dismay of some of his 'new' siblings, normal life over vigilante life.

Then they knew Phantom. A dead ghost hero that was helping the Justice League and Young Justice to help them deal with the aftermath of the huge fallout caused by the GIW, Guys in White or rather Ghost Investigation Ward. And while Danny didn't know he had apparently worked with nearly his entire family and that time he knew it now. Which was awkward because he had pretty much pestered one of his elder brothers about his condition until Red Hood, aka Jason, let Phantom help him. Ancient, things might get awkward if that secret is lifted. He had done a lot of things Batman, Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin, Orphan and Robin had scowled him for. Thankfully they only thought of him as a dead teen hero and didn't know what a Halfa was. So they didn't make the connection, and he had yet to meet Signal, aka Duke as Phantom.

Now came the third identity, which totally did not happen by his choice. After all officially he hadn't accepted the throne yet and would only get it once he was dead dead not half dead. To bad ancient texts don't care about formalities. So when trouble hit the fan really hard the Justice League Dark had the bright Idea of getting some other worldly help. Which in other words was summoning the Ghost King. Oh boy, was it fun to learn that way that Danny could get summoned against his will. Clockwork did not give him that warning when he told him about the future of his afterlife. But best of all? Oh he doesn't get summoned as Phantom which would have made things maybe a bit easier, oh no. Life wasn't easy. He got someone's in some as a super weird black-green mass of a formless eltrich body with sharp teeth, claws and glowing green eyes with no pupils or irises. Hell Danny even scared himself when he saw his own reflection in a window and he didn't have a single idea how to change his form.

Let it be known that Danny acted then on purpose like he didn't know a single person in that room he had been summoned in right out of his bed and that he wasn't staring at his adoptive father like he needed help who interpreted his stare as the ghost king sizing him up. And Danny knows this because Dick had a good laugh about that at the dinner table with the rest of his siblings.

Now a smart person would probably come clean to his family and explain to them the three identities they knew him under and how they are connected.

To bad Danny wasn't 'smart' when it came to things like that. No in his panic and newfound awkwardness of the situation of what he had done on separate occasions with his identity as Phantom AND Ghost King, he decided to keep acting like he didn't knew them personally like the truely does. Really how hard could that be? Besides he liked the way his family treated him now. He didn't want to get treated differently because he was half dead, or a Ghost King. He liked that his family was treating him as plain old Danny who had an obsession with space and was their quirkily little brother with powers.

So that gave him even more incentive to keep the act up. Even if it was hard at times, especially if he got summoned out of nowhere. It would be easier if he could get a hang of the duplication power. He even had played with the thought of getting one of his ghost rogues to help but his family was perceptive. Maybe not perceptive enough to realise that all three identities were one and the same person but they would notice if Danny acted just slightly different or if Phantom was more of then usually. But somehow he still managed to keep it up.

But it was the hard way that he learned, Danny was bad at doing the 'talking' and realized that maybe Jazz was right and he was going to slip up one day causing huge misunderstandings like right now.

He stared down at Batman and Nightwing in his Ghost King form. Red Hood had his guns pulled on him, Wonder Woman and Superman looked like they where going to try to pull back Batman any second now while Nightwing, maybe at first was going to try to calm down the bat but Danny was pretty sure the eldest bat kid was now fiercely glaring at him too. He was also pretty sure the only reason he didn't see Red Robin or Robin threaten him too was because their super friends were somehow holding them back. For their own or his safety he doesn't know at the moment.

Because apparently the Bats did not fear fighting otherworldly beings to protect one of their own.

"What did you just say about Danny Fentons death?!" Batman grunted out and Danny just knew his adoptive father was glaring at him. Ancients Danny cursed his brain to mouth filter right now. As he had the collective hero scene before him staring at his Ghost King form. Would this be a good or bad moment to come completely clean or maybe he should find some kind of philosophical bullshit of 'All things death belong to him'....

Can you write Astarion seeing Warlock Tav get knocked out during the Cazador fight?

Astarion is barely hanging during the entire encounter. His ears are ringing and its part bloodlust and part knowing you’re there that keeps him moving. He wants to kiss Shadowheart on the month when she frees him but there isn’t time; Cazador’s minions are closing in fast. He sees you on the other side of the battlefield, Karlach drawing everyone to her as you back her up. Your eyes meet just for a second and he’s running to the nearest enemy, sinking his blade into its back. He’s going to end this once and for all.

Your cry of pain snaps his attention to your fight. He had just finished putting Chatterteeth down and Shadowheart turned from the bats she was swatting. Cazador’s lightening sparked off your skin as you hit the floor, Karlach turning to cleave the vampire in half. He took the hit and faded to smoke, moving away. Astarion wanted to scream and run to your side but he needed to know this would be over.

He was slower to get to your side than he wanted; between covering Shadowheart and taking shots at Cazador when he was solid Astarion wanted to rip his hair out. Karlach had finished the last of the werewolves and zeroed in on the vampire lord, Astarion right behind her. Shadowheart helped you up, healing magic pouring from her lips consistently. He made sure to catch your eye and once you gave him a nod, he turned to Cazador.

Astarion was moving on autopilot. He dodged and struck, sinking his daggers into Cazador as much as he could. Pinned between Karlach and himself, there wasn’t anywhere he could go. Astarion laughed as you sent out an Eltrich Blast, the force pushing Cazador right into Astarion’s blades. His blood was singing as the lord turned into smoke, going to the sarcophagus. He quicky cupped your cheeks, looking you over and then gently placing a kiss on your forehead. Without another word he turned, a sinister sneer on his face. The vampire lord was going to bleed for what he did to you.

I personally like to imagine Iterators as more of their puppets, but think they are the structure, and while they still are the structure, it is also like a limb, but so is the puppet. Eltrich and beyond our compression, but the consciousness and most things are stored in the puppet. Weird and funky, that's how i like the compression.

Along with that, the puppets are also test tube grown and then given cybernetic enhancements, and sometimes being more metal than flesh. And with this, they are very resilient. Even the weakest and frail puppets can survive lizard bites and escape with relatively little help (minus if they are bit at any soft squishy parts they have).

I also like the idea of iterators not only having mouths but also entire organs systems, new or natural, flesh and metal. Although it normally ends at a stomach as with how they are structured with metal and flesh, they can use every ounce of material they consume, but their bodies will still reject some things like data pearls for the simple reason of them being pearls, and, yknow, they use those for data storage. So they just spit out the stuff they don't use instead, and it varies iterator to iterator on what they can eat.

While they have all this, I think they also, while connected to the structure, are pumped full of chemicals that suppress every natural bodily response, like getting hungry for example. Being either lied to by ancients for... some reason, or bands of rebal ancients implementing these things into iterators while they are in a robotic coma, I forgot what the word is. I'm not sure which I like more yet, but eh.

Oh, also, when off the string, their memory storages are, of course, cut down in size, still exponentially larger than any scavenger or slugcat, but still a fraction of their full capacity. Some also need neurons like this, like Moon, and others not so much, like Pebbles.

Oh yeah I also hc that Iterators can pop off their arm but they don't as they think they will just die the second they do it, and besides that, its incredibly hard to break and will need added help, say from a purposed slugcat or something.

I’VE ALWAYS JOKED ABOUT BEING SOME SORT OF ELTRICH MONSTER OR WEIRD CREATURE BUT THAT’S ACTUALLY WHAT I WANNA BE. I CAN’T PINPOINT IF IT’S JUST A PHASE OR IF I’M ALTERHUMAN OR VOIDPUNK OR WHATEVER. I FEEL SOMEWHAT INHUMAN AND JUST WANT TO LIVE AS SOME WEIRD, INEXPLICABLE VOID CREATURE UNBEKNOWNST TO MANKIND. WHAT AM I? WHAT DO I DO? I’M HAVING AN IDENTITY CRISIS

I am alittle bored so hey! Here are some Fun Facts/Headcanons for the characters in Twilight Town (Reminder: Twilight Town is takes place in a rebooted version of the Ruby Gloom cartoon where they’re all adults)

1. Iris is the youngest of the main 8 with Ruby being a few months older. Frank is considered the oldest being a second older than his twin Len. (Halo would have been oldest overall at 2100 but I decided to only portray her as 21)

2. Misery is a native Irish speaker though she can speak several other languages thanks to her family tree including Latin, Chinese, French, and Swedish.

3. When Skull was 13, he tried to change his name to Skull Guy but literally no one liked it so he dropped the second part of his name. Misery, Frank, and Len still call him Skull Boy from time to time to tease him since they’re older than him.

4. Ruby’s middle name is Lily which I got from Lily Munster.

5. Frank is actually Frank II. His father, Frank Frankenstein is the first. In fact. My friend said the twins names together sounded like Frankenstein (Frank) L(eN) Stein.

6. Both Frank and Len have separation anxiety due to how long they’ve been conjoined. If not near by each other for long periods of time, they get anxious and tend to lash out more.

7. Jackie was my first ever OC for anything and back then her name was Lantern. She was never gonna be shipped with anyone until recently where she’s with Len.

8. Misery has the highest kill count of the group at 666 via natural disasters and freak accidents. Frank and Len are in second place with 25 kills and will resort to eating humans to get rid of evidence.

9. Skull has never killed someone but he is capable of it as he took up marksmanship as one of his 100+ hobbies.

10. Ruby’s more monstrous side is based on Other Mother from Coraline, Nightmarionne from FNAF, Eltrich and Lovecraftian monsters, Raggedy Ann, and Wally Darling from Welcome Home!
