Would you rather live in the innerworld (if u have one) all the time or have you and your sysmates live outside the body?
hmm, depends. if we got to experience the innerworld physically i think most of us would choose that. if i was confined to only my origin portion of the innerworld, which is a dissapointing nuclear wasteland, i'm not taking it, but if i could instead go live in the main headspace/innerworld which is Highly Off Canon The Elder Scrolls Skyrim i would absolutely take it. maybe some of the others will add on later but thats just my two cents. - Morgan ⚔️

🏛️ Court: The royal household and the place where the king or queen holds court. It includes the throne room, great hall, and various chambers for the nobles and advisors.
🏡 Manor: The residence of a noble, usually a lord or lady. It’s less fortified than a castle and focuses more on comfort and domestic life.
Pro Tips:
Royal Drama: Expect lots of intrigue, secret plots, and power struggles. It’s like a medieval reality show.
Magic: Always a wildcard. It can solve problems or create new ones.
Quests: Royals love sending heroes on epic quests. It’s their way of handling problems without getting their hands dirty.

⚔️Three Houses of Edain⚔️
A little over three centuries after the Noldor had returned to Middle-earth, Finrod discovered a new people in the glens of the Blue Mountains. These were Men out of the distant East of Middle-earth, the first of their kind to be seen in Beleriand. These Men crossed the mountains as three distinct peoples, but each of these peoples became allies of the Elves in the Wars of Beleriand. The name Edain became associated with these friends of the Elves, and their leaders gave rise to three houses: those of Bëor, Haleth and Hador.
Tumblr media
House of Bëor
Bëor was the first of Men to cross the Blue Mountains into Beleriand, and his house is thus considered the first of the houses of the Edain. Bëor himself became a vassal of Finrod, and many of his descendants also served the Elves. Later generations of this house held the land of Dorthonion, until it was lost to Morgoth in the Dagor Bragollach. The greatest of the heroes of the House of Bëor was Beren, who escaped from Dorthonion and captured a Silmaril from Morgoth's crown.
Tumblr media
House of Haleth
The people known as the Haladin spoke their own language, alien to that of the other Edain. They were the second house of Men to cross the Mountains, and settled for a while in the southern part of Dor Caranthir. Faced with a sudden assault by Orcs, they united under a leader named Haldad, but he was slain defending his people. His daughter Haleth, from whom this house took its name, led the survivors into the west, until they reached the Forest of Brethil, where they settled. This house of the Edain is noted for their friendship with the Drúedain, with whom they shared their forest home.
Tumblr media
House of Hador
The Third House of the Edain derived from the followers of Marach, who led his people across the Blue Mountains soon after the other houses. The Men of this House built a strong alliance with Fingolfin's people in Hithlum. Indeed, Marach's great-great-grandson Hador was made Lord of Dor-lómin by the High King of the Noldor, thus giving his name to this renowned House. Among Hador's famous descendants were Húrin and Huor, Túrin and Tuor, and Eärendil the Mariner.
“Do you forget to whom you speak? Such things you spoke long ago to our fathers; but we escaped from your shadow. And now we have knowledge of you, for we have looked on the faces that have seen the Light, and heard the voices that have spoken with Manwe."
~ Húrin Thalion in The Children of Húrin, "The Words of Húrin and Morgoth"

— looking for more fantasy writeblrs! ⚔️
after a few years of hiatus, I’m back! but…that means almost everyone I followed went inactive. please like, reblog, or reply to this post so I can find some folks to follow!!
particularly interested in writing blogs that…
- write fantasy, especially fae/elves or less popular fantasy “species” (dwarves, angels, orcs, you name it!)
- write myth, fairy tale, or folklore retellings
- have things published (whether that means on a retail site or just on your blog; I want to read!)
- write lgbt+ characters, double points for lgbt+ fantasy stuff
- write new adult or adult books. i love YA too but I write and read more new adult these days!
— about me
I’m a 20-something author who writes…pretty much what I described above. Fantasy novels that focus more on emotions and characters and world than wild adventures, often with lgbt+ characters or romances. I love elves of the Dragon Age variety, Greek myths, fairy tales, and moral ambiguity.

⚔️ 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺! Staff of Awakening
Staff, artifact (requires attunement by a spellcaster) ___ This fey staff's shaft is hewn from the wood of an ancient, mysterious oak in the Ebony Glade, whose roots are said to have absorbed the dreams of elves from long ago. A perfect sphere of amber from that same oak hangs suspended in the center of it. While attuned to the staff, you are immune to the "dream" and "sleep" spells. 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙨. The staff has 10 charges for the following properties. It regains all expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the staff's last charge and are not fey or lack the Fey Ancestry trait, roll a d20. On a 1, the staff disappears into a dreamlike mist and returns to the Ebony Glade in the realm of the fey. 𝙎𝙡𝙚𝙚𝙥. While holding the staff, you can use an action to expend 1 of its charges to cast the "sleep" spell from it. This version of the spell uses 3d8 to determine the maximum number of hit points for the spell, but targets a single creature within the spell's range instead. You can use the staff to cast the normal version of the spell at 1st level by expending 2 or more of its charges in this way, instead. For every 2 charges you spend after the 2nd, the level of the spell increases by 1. 𝘿𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨. Some properties of this artifact are locked behind layers of dormant magic. As you grow stronger and reach certain milestones, these properties may become available to you. [Prerequisite: 5th level] 𝙉𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙚. This staff can be wielded as a magic quarterstaff that deals an extra 1d8 psychic damage to any creature it hits. When you fail to put a creature to sleep with a "sleep" spell cast from the staff, that creature takes an amount of psychic damage equal to half the spell's remaining hit point total. [Prerequisite: 5th level] 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙. While attuned to the staff, the amount of time you need to finish a long rest is halved, down to a minimum of 4 hours. [Prerequisite: 9th level] 𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙒𝙖𝙡𝙠𝙚𝙧. "Sleep" spells you cast roll an extra die when determining the spell's total number of hit points. In addition, you can reroll any 1 or 2... ...Continued in the comments below! ___ ✨ Patrons get huge perks! 🌛💫About/Backstory💫🌛
With the great war between humans and elves coming to an end, King Lafvan and Queen Saevanna decided it was time to bring a child into the new world. Edlin, however, was very weak when he was born. He was barely breathing and had very pale skin. If it were not for the mysterious maiden that Saevanna allowed to heal the child, Edlin would not be part of this world. No one, not even the Moon Queen herself, knew what ancient powers the maiden possessed. And so Edlin was raised just like any ordinary elven boy throughout the years.
Edlin, while still learning his place as Moon Prince of Nem Naalore, took a liking in swordsmanship. As a youngling, he learned from his uncle and learned everything that he knew. When his uncle wasn’t around, he had others teach him. His uncle would even send him swords, which sparked a new hobby in collecting swords, which Saevanna didn’t like the influence Lafvan’s brother was having on her only son. His sword play would be limited as he still had to learn prince etiquette and the lectures Saevanna scheduled. Edlin, however, would still sneak off during those lectures, riding upon his great albino elk, Cloud, into the forests.
The elf had shown great connections with humans, especially with the sun princess of Sol Estrela. He was first introduced to the human princess when both royal families wanted for them both to promote peace amongst humans and elves. Over time, this friendship blossomed, and they became close.
However, elves, at the age of twenty, begin to slowly age. This is why elves don’t normally bear many children due to this revelation that Edlin discovers from the sun princess. It would prevent their relationship from growing further. So, they would keep their relationship a secret from their families.
Tumblr media
💜🌌Personality🌌💜
Edlin is a kind-hearted, charming elf. Many female elves have gawked over his friendly personality, most especially his good looks. Royal lines from around the continent (even beyond the shores) wanted to marry off their elven daughters to the resilient moon prince of Nem Naalore, but he had refused every contract with the other kingdoms.
He's been known on many occasions for helping Naalorians in the kingdom. He’s brave, going off against dangerous monsters that invade his home (most of the time he gets assistance from his friends or palace guards). His mother, Saevanna, gets worried every time he runs off to assist his people that he may not return. But he does come back, ruining his princely wardrobe every time.
The elf is clumsy, often falling off his great, large elk Cloud or being around the love of his life, the human princess of Sol Estrela. He trips, falls, and stumbles. He almost broke his back once when falling off the princess’ balcony one night after the Sunset Gala; however, he was just overreacting that one time when he did (it wasn’t that large of a fall).
Tumblr media
🦌⚔️Abilities⚔️🦌
Swordsmanship – Skilled in sword fighting in combat. Edlin owns a large collection of handcrafted swords, from scimitars to long swords to short swords. He switches them out occasionally, to be sharpened and placed back upon the wall until switched out again. He prefers to have one sword in hand; however, his kind is known to duel with two swords instead of one.
Darkvision – Edlin can see through the darkly lit forests and caves. This has proven to be useful when returning to the Moon Palace or searching through the dark forest for lost creatures.
Heightened Senses – The elven prince has keener senses compared to humans. He is graceful on his feet (most of the time) in dueling and has excellent eyesight.
Riding – He rides not only horses but also great elks. Cloud was taken in as a calf after its mother abandoned it in the rain one night. Both bonded, and Edlin would ride upon him every sunrise and sunset for his “walks”. Edlin also likes to give Cloud treats after riding, such as sugar cubes (which he shouldn’t have, but Edlin gives it to him anyways, seeing as it has no effect on him) or special tree leaves he’s gathered in the forests.
Understanding of Creatures/Talking with Beasts – Although this doesn’t work on all animals, he can speak and comprehend all sorts of creatures, such as his elk Cloud. His mother found Edlin’s ability to be useful when having him get serpents and other reptiles out of her gardens, as she hates scaly reptiles.

Finally finished, royal family portrait! Just as the campaign is finished as well 😅 Anyway, some background for the royal family: 👑 Dallas IV, current monarch. His rule is a time of peace (and prosperity for some). Has terrible luck with wives, each of them left this world after giving birth to one daughter. Is he cursed or something? Nonetheless, the King dreams of glorious deeds, to become a legend like his ancestors. The dragon who appeared in the kingdom is a perfect opportunity for that. Is Dallas prepared to face it in battle and not die? He’s the king who didn't have a chance to seriously fight in his life, the answer is obvious. 🕌 Princess Dalila, contrary to appearances the oldest daughter - elves don't grow up that fast. As the heir of the Queen who came from the homeland of the Cult of Mysatra, she currently lives in the main temple in Kastalpur, preparing to take over the responsibilities of the head of the Church when she comes of age. 🪓 Princess Danusia, the middle princess. Her mother hailed from a nation of giants from the Gray Peaks. Some time ago, the giants went to war with the Kingdom and would have destroyed it, but the chieftain's daughter spotted a young king who caught her eye. She wished to marry him, so her father proposed peace if this condition is met. Now Danusia, as her successor, lives in Gray Peaks with her grandfather Olgrim, learning to lead her people, as required by the treaty. ⚜️ Princess Dagna, the youngest princess. Her mother arrived at court with a small entourage, to become the third Queen. Among the crowd was her cousin, who took this opportunity to change something about her life, and went on to become the royal hunter at King’s castle. Happiness of the Royal Couple did not last long, as the Queen perished shortly after giving birth to the third princess. Rumours say that after Queen’s passing, the King sought solace in the game, fouler rumours say he sought it in the arms of the gamekeeper. It doesn’t matter now, since a few years ago a hunting accident took her life as well, and now the court mostly moved on to other gossip. Dagna is assumed to ascend the throne as the next ruler when the time comes. ⚔️ …and Clara. We don’t talk about Clara. She’s not even really a princess.

(Late) Discussion Post: The Ring Goes South
They set off at last! I did not make the connection until now that there are nine members of the Fellowship and the Ringwraiths each. Also, both Pippin and Bilbo saying the Hobbits must stick together got me all 🥺🥺🥺
Having representatives of elves, dwarves, and humans on the team reminds me of RPG games and other such media, down to their preferred weapons (bows 🏹, axes🪓, and swords⚔️). Gandalf is, well, Gandalf 🔮 And the Hobbits have heart lol ❤️ It probably goes to show just how influential LOTR is to modern fantasy. BG3 and Dunmeshi (at least what I understand of it via dashboard osmosis) come to mind.
As someone who previously only saw the movies, it's interesting that the broken sword was mended and used by Aragorn this early. Will it still be the proof of kingship later, or will it be something else?
Also, "I go to find the sun!" Lmao Legolas pls 😅
