There are many kinds of energetic connections that we can form. Among them, the romantic connection is the one that leads to intense energy exchange between us and the person we are connected with. When energy is exchanged between you and your lover, it results in sharing of thought and emotional patterns, energetic blockages and karmas between you two. It can be for better or worse, depending on what kinds of thought and emotional patterns your lover has, and how much and what kinds of blockages and karmas they have to handle.

However, just the thought of being intimate with your lover can already exchange your energy with theirs, even when no physical action is performed, as our thoughts carry energy. As a prerequisite for this energy exchange, the energetic connection between you and your lover has to be present. If it is cut or severely blocked, then there will be no energy exchange. 

This energy exchange phenomenon also matches with the astrological narrative. In astrology, marriage can activate some planetary energies on one's astrological chart. However, intense energy connections and exchange between you and your lover can already activate those energies even without having any legally binding agreement. Furthermore, you two's charts can influence each other (e.g. synastry), which is an astrological way to describe how your lover could affect you energetically.

Never will I stop with the steadfast notion that folks in the DPXDC fandom should interact with at least some form of canon DC media.

There are comics, tv shows, radio dramas both old and new, podcasts, movies, magazines, so much shit that intentionally avoiding the media is simply preventing yourself from spawning new ideas and gaining a new appreciation for a fandom that you’re already in.

The Superman Radio Show has episodes 11 minutes long. A lot of the TV shows don’t have episodes that surpass 30 minutes and most are nearly fully clipped on the official DC YouTube channel. The amount of fan made motion comics is astounding. The amount of fanmade animations is equally as incredible.

Reminder to writers/authors experiencing burnout or writer's block (or both - double curse!): try reading a new author.

Obviously it might not help you, but immersing yourself in a new writing style and way of telling a story, with new ideas and a new setting/world might just get you fired up again about all things literary.

It might not fix the issue because writer's block is a complicated and nuanced little bitch, but it might at least give you the sparks of inspiration and imagination you need to tide you over until the block dissolves or the energy to write returns.

Either way, take it easy, and don't be hard on yourself. You're still a writer, even when you're not actively writing, and don't you forget that.
