This is kinda of random but why is Hecate short? I'm just curious because out of all the bad things in LO I liked how tall Hecate is and how she wore suits. ( she does look stunning in your version too )

I've found when it comes to character heights, it's really hard to discern what the actual intention was in their designs as Rachel's statements often contradict the actual appearance of the characters in the comic and how they compare to one another. For example, some people have stated Rachel revealed in her Patreon chit chat posts (or in FB groups, don't remember which) that Hades was unique for his height, being as tall as 10 feet, but as we see him in the comic, he's often closer to being 10 feet wide than 10 feet tall LOL (I don't think Rachel realized how big ten feet was when she said that tbh)

So in that regard, from a design POV it's hard to gauge if Hecate is actually that tall, or if she just appears tall because she's sometimes drawn at shoulder height with Hades (doesn't help that the character designs are always fluctuating), but also it's hard to say if one can be considered "tall" when standing next to Persephone who we know Rachel always draws disproportionately tiny compared to everyone else, to the point of outright infantilizing her.

TL ; DR: I had to pick a lane with the character designs and Hecate seemed more like she would realistically be closer to Persephone's height than to Hades (if Hades is someone who's supposed to be uniquely tall which I'm definitely trying to make him, he's meant to be a little over 6 feet tall in LR). And even Persephone's height is still around 5"5-5"7, so they're not even that "short", they just often appear shorter in relation to Hades. At least, that's the approach I'm going for lmaoo (my standard marker for it is that Persephone comes up to his chest / collarbone area).

Plus - though this is just my personal opinion - it's also just nice to have more characters around Persephone's height, not only to showcase how much taller Hades is compared to most people around him, but also to make her a little less singled out in the height department, as LO often made her absurdly small to the point of infantilizing her (￢_￢;)

That said, Artemis is taller than Persephone coming in around 5"9, and Aphrodite is meant to be quite tall (p much the same height as Hades!) and we'll be seeing more of her later on in the story, so fear not, there are tall girls to be found :'3 <3

out of curiosity, do you have any preferred headcanons for how tall the members of the Batfam are? who's the tallest to shortest?

listen I don't have exact measurements but I do have vibes. I'm going to say right out of the gate that I simply do not hold with DC artists and their habit of Russian nesting dolling the Robins so they're each a little bit shorter with age, it's a useful visual shorthand but it's also not my truth even if I sometimes agree with portions.

for instance: I do have to concede that Bruce needs to be the tallest of the Batboys in order to enable a lot of his whole schtick, especially your modern era Batmans who are built to be tanks as opposed to the sleeker, more acrobatically-oriented Batman of earlier ages. Batfleck honestly had a great build for it, 6'4 and built to loom.

on the other hand, I Know what male gymnasts look like and Dick came from a whole family of them; he doesn't need to be SHORT short but brother he is not the tallest Robin by any stretch. he's 5'8 if he's Lucky, likely shorter. and he's fine with it! he isn't insecure about being a compact king!

I strongly dislike the recent development towards drawing adult Jason as a brute, but I have long enjoyed the headcanon that he would have had a hard growth spurt after Bruce took him in and he didn't have to worry about food insecurity. he is absolutely taller than Dick but, HOT TAKE, I don't think he's a Lot taller. as Red Hood he's definitely exaggerating the difference with chunky boots + his stupid full-face mask for extra height, + his jacket and all his gear make him look taller and broader than Nightwing in his little skintight getup. out of costume they physically look much more similar.

I also super hate when Tim is drawn as a skinny short little waif, genuinely there's no reason for that. that's a little American rich boy who grew up on milk and white bread, there's no reason for him to look like he has Victorian urchin wasting disease. fuck this, Tim is taller than both Dick and Jason. same energy as the improv kid I went to high school with who was 5'11 but cool about it.

completing the circle and fully reversing the Robins, I know that other fans have pointed out that Damian's Asian heritage conspires against him being hugelarge as an adult, but genetics are a grab bag and I think he deserves to be Bruce-sized. adult Damian can pick Dick up and put him in the fridge if he wants. at present though his growth spurt is really taking its sweet time and he's hovering around Cass-height (see below).

Duke is hovering in a zone right between Jason and Tim but everyone forgets that and imagines him being taller because the little bat ears on his helmet give him a couple extra inches.

a lot of older comics, especially the Dixon run, frequently have Selina drawn like she's tall as all hell, and I honestly love that for her. 5'11, Megan Thee Stallion kind of build for her.

Cass is frequently drawn as tiny to an extent that is, frankly, implausible and borderline upsetting (if memory serves she literally got folded up and carried in a backpack once?) but listen: she's certainly not tall. I'm willing to offer her 5'3 as an absolute maximum. also literally no one asked but Michelle Yeoh is the Lady Shiva of my heart and shes 5'4, so that's canon To Me.

however tall Dick is in your head I want you to add one (1) inch and that's Barbara. this is so crucial to me.

Steph is like a deeply average 5'4 and a half, and I realize this Does mean that I've Russian nesting dolled the Batgirls (at least in order of appearance in comics, not the actual order they Batgirls) and I am Fine with that. throw Harper Row in here too, she and Steph are just chilling being average height gal pals.

Helena is freakishly tall by Italian woman standards, by which I mean like 5'7.

this is vile and I'm sorry to the Robins but unfortunately Jean Paul is a genetically engineered freak bred to kill so he's probably taller than all of them save for an adult Damian. 6'2 to my miserable boy. beginning to think I was lying when I said I didn't have exact numbers.

so I think in descending order the lineup I've created is Bruce, JP, Selina and Tim, Duke, Jason and Babs, Dick, Helena, Steph and Harper, Damian, Cass.

Favorite thing about them: I just love his whole personality loll. He's a crazy, funny little guy that I think is really cool

Least favorite thing about them: Nothing. Only when he gets really mischaracterized by official writers who don't understand him, which happens A LOT

Random headcanon: He can do ballet and it's because it's something Talia taught him while he was growing up in the league and being trained to learn many other things. He's a skilled professional at it now because of this and also bonds with his sister Cass over it and will sometimes even join her in her dancing. He also tries teaching Jon too, which can become fun for them both, and his other friends sometimes as well whenever they get curious or don't actually understand it that much like they think they do. Damian also owns a pair of green ballet slippers, but usually keeps them put away in his closet to keep them safe and clean and only takes them out when he really does want to use them.

Unpopular opinion: Okay sooo, a lot of people believe that Talia's character just gets only more ruined because of Damian's existence or whatever, but I don't believe that at all. Damian may be her son and is big part of her life because of it, but his character itself has nothing to do with hers like that at all when it comes to hateful writers choosing to write her horribly and just as another evil, lunatic villain and whatever else. Some people even say that he stole her story, but he did grow up with her during those 10 years of his, so of course he's gonna have the same life she dealt with and is also gonna have to get through certain issues from it now too because of it. But the point is that if anyone's gonna get blamed for Talia's usual trash characterisation, it should be the writers who hate her, NOT Damian who has many writers of his own who don't even treat him that well or like him that much at all either just like with Talia. Trying to pick on him is never going to fix anything about her. If Talia's ever gonna get anything better that she deserves in comics and other things, it needs to be done by writers who actually have care about her character and don't have anything weird against her that just only causes bad intentions of messing her up and then THAT'S what will finally start doing justice for her. And this not meant as an argument towards anyone or whatever btw, this is just me stating my opinion and beliefs about the whole thing

Song I associate with them: Self love by Metro Boomin & Coi Leray (Mostly because even though Damian may always put on a very confident act and always seems so prideful of himself a lot of the times, he actually has a lot of insecurities underneath all of that and doesn't actually always think so great of himself as a person)

I just LOVE the way Gleb Melinkov draws him and gives him his Arab features without holding any of it back as well! He even gives him long lashes (longer than Flatline's even, which I noticed while looking at another panel from this series!), which I really love too!!

Favorite thing about them: I really always liked his leadership style, especially in the Teen Titans 2003 cartoon, which I grew up with

Least favorite thing about them: Only when he's potrayed as a dumb, clumsy guy in some canon stories just to lift up other characters and put them in a bigger spotlight instead. It makes no sense because he's a professional acrobat and always has been that way since he was a little kid, so how could he ever be so trippy all over the place as if there are invisible banana peels getting in the way everytime?! And he is very smart, especially with all of the important experience he has from his many years of hero work, so he's not dumb either and if he was, he wouldn't have made it so far with this kind of life because of it or ever get much done like he did because he has to overly depend on others knowledge

Favorite line: "Titans Go!"

Brotp: Dick and Starfire, Beast boy, Raven, Cyborg (I know he's friends with many others too, but this is the group I grew up with and am more attached to, so they're my fave to see together)

Otp: Dickkory because they bring the best out in eachother and have so much love for one another too

Notp: DickBabs because I just don't think they really fit that well together at all and most times Barbara just makes Dick feel bad in a lot of ways with how she usually treats him in a romantic relationship, and that's not a healthy thing to deal with at all. And then there's also Batcest and Slade x Dick (which I don't even get at all because Slade is just such a horrible, gross and very toxic guy)

Random headcanon: Years ago, back when he would used to have long hair still, he one time had it tied up in a ponytail and then a villain chopped it off in half while fighting him. Dick was pissed and really kicked their butt for doing that

Unpopular opinion: People always think of Dick as the positive, sunshine guy and then there are the ones who get very mad about it and say that he's actually the angry, tough guy because him being super friendly and happy is just too "ooc". I don't listen to any of that stuff, because I believe that he's actually both. He IS a friendly guy with a warm, charming, humorous attitude that easily attracts others, and is very much an inspiration to many because of his positive, sunshine vibes as a great, hardworking hero, but none of it makes him dumb, weak or gullible, because he IS also the type who can become very serious and gets mad when he needs to be, also doesn't actually take bull from anyone, can be chaotic and crazy, works a LOT, is independent, does have a lot of intelligence and especially experience that should never be forgotten about just because he's nice, and also definitely has the determined mind to take care of things and get them done even though others will sometimes try to tell him what to do, but he doesn't actually listen because he's not the type to easily be controlled that way like a puppy would be and if he believes it's something that needs the attention and it's what should be done and no one else is doing it, then he will do it

Song I associate with them: Annihilate by Metro Bommin, Swae Lee, Lil Wayne & Offset (because it's about being fearless, embracing self strength and individuality, and becoming a much more independent person, and I think that totally fits Dick because he's not the type to fear much and hates being stuck under Batman's shadow and having independence is something that always had an important role in how Dick's life goes)

It's very nice and really shows the struggle he goes through as a hero a lot of the times. Also, I really always liked the way he draws Dick, because he doesn't just look like everyone else and isn't sharing same face syndrome with his brothers and Bruce either, it's just a look that's unique to only him and it fits him very well. It's the exact way I always imagine him looking like whenever I envision him in my mind, even the hairstyle that's given to him by this artist too!!!

A ramble about Dr. Blitzmeyer's clothes (pt 2)

There is no point that I'm trying to make with this, I've just been staring at pictures of her for so long I thought of this

This is movie concept art of her introducing Ballister and Nimona to a secret organization of scientists called the Silver Society that end up helping them. Already her outfit is much different than that comic. Her lab coat is much longer and she's got a purple skirt on. I don't think comic Blitzmeyer would be caught dead wearing a skirt in a laboratory bc of all the safety hazards it presents but it looks nice ig. She's still got the belt that she wears with her lab coat but they've put a little pouch on it. I think that's actually really smart and in-character because then she can keep supplies in there. They've shortened her hair, it was down to her waist in the comic, and they've shortened her too. In the comic, she's about Ballister's height, maybe even slightly taller. Here, she's a whole head shorter. Also there are no goggles????? I like this art and I think she would wear this outfit but not in this context. (Art by Jeff Turley)

2. An animation test. I love everything about the movement in this video but that's a separate post; I'm here to talk about her clothes. They've given her goggles back which is good but I still don't think she would be wearing a skirt. I know they're trying to lean into the magic/witch side of her character and typically people think of witches as wearing dresses, but she wears a dress in the comic only once in a super short scene. I don't even think you can see the bottom of the dress; as far as the reader knows, it's a sweater (we find out it's a dress in an official art by ND Stevenson but it's not part of the canon timeline). Also the dress has dangly sleeves?? That is just asking to get set on fire in a laboratory setting. It's an interesting character choice because in the comic, her work clothes were the tightest outfit she wears to avoid workplace accidents, but I think they made this choice here because of the before mentioned witch thing. In this animation though I like her boots and her pants, I do think she would wear those and they look quite good on her. (Art by Louis Jones)

3. This is a very interesting one. It's another piece of concept art from when she was Ballister's getaway driver. We can't see her bottom half here but her top isn't like anything else we've seen for the movie so far. I would say this is the outfit that draws from the comic most so far. She's got a black undershirt with a scooping neckline under a white... thing? At first, I thought it was a tank top because the arm sticking out of the car doesn't have a sleeve but then I noticed that the arm going into the car does have a sleeve. Maybe it's a weirdly styled shirt or lab coat? The white top does have a collar on it and the whole thing looks reminiscent of the outfit she wore in the comic when Ballister came over to her apartment; it was a baggy white shirt with a collar unbuttoned to show a black undershirt. There's a line going over the shoulder that's sticking out of the car as well. At first I though it was a continuation of the undershirt sticking out from the white top but the color is wrong. Now I think it's the strap for the brown purse she often wears in the comic. She's still missing her goggles but I love how they made her hair long and crazy again. Having froze up upon suddenly being lifted this way, Lief turned and hurriedly stepped away from Vi as he was put back down, nearly stumbling over himself.

His fur briefly stood on end. He was staring up with wide eyes. Then he straightened his posture in some attempt to regain composure, and responded.

Lief: “N-next time, watch the scarf…”

He growled under his breath like he didn’t entirely want Vi to hear him. He proceeded to fiddle with and readjust his scarf with an agitated expression, taking a couple more steps away from her.

As for Pikavee, she was clearly unnerved by this display. She spoke with a low voice at Vi, her ears lying backwards somewhat.

Pikavee: “F-first off. That wasn’t very nice.”

Her face, which seemed to border very lightly on anger, quickly faded into her usual timid disposition, though. She averted her eyes from the Zeraora hybrid–she swore she felt something more from Vi, something she hadn’t felt from any Pokemon she met before.

Pikavee: “A-and, um… I sleep outside. B-but I prefer it. The stars at night are really nice.”

@thefaeriefeatherdark Sorry, I just haven't had either the time nor the energy to write up a response to your thoughts on the AU and I apologize because this is basically stream of consciousness and not edited, but a few things about my 3 Superboys AU, which thanks to Jon is technically 5 but another time.

Okay, the Superboy AU has actually gotten worse thanks to Leah Williamson (long story, but now we have two Jons). But to answer your questions as best I can given my limited Super family knowlege. Connor is a Cadmus creation, he is straight up the series origins. Made by Cadmus with Lex's funding with Lex's and Clark's DNA. The main difference is he is the first attempt at being cloned and Cadmus lies and tells Lex the clone had deteriorated once he was out of his clone tube. If you want to add Contessa to this, you could have her doing this to spite Lex. I know nothing about her besides what you said in your post, but I'm sure she has good reasons to be spiteful to Lex. And you know to try to keep and groom a Superboy on her own.

As for Lena Thorul, I know nothing about her, but since I am a fan of random characters from Kara's original series (I want that trade if it will ever exist), I don't see any issue with her being involved. My only issue with Kara in your idea, is I hc her around the ages of the original Teen Titans from the comics. At most a year younger, only because I think it's funny that Dick will call her an old hag even though he's physically older, but she's older than even Clark by a decent amount.

I mean all three are Clark and Lex clones, so they will look alike, but as Connor and Kon do have other's DNA mixed in with them (Maik is the only 100% just those two's DNA), they're can be variation. I think Connor looks distinct enough, it could have just been the cartoon style, but he seems more muscular and taller. He's more of a football player, while Kon is more Baseball player in terms of general build (it's a very bad description, but the best way I can explain it without drawing it, sorry). And Maik is 12, he's baby shaped. But he's basically built thicker than Jon, but not really by much since again, babies. Connor doesn't have the earring like the other two do, but I think Maik in terms of appearance does get mistook as Kon's younger brother since they look a lot alike. Maik has much better fashion sense though, cause is it Kon if he is dressed well? Maik has the gray eyes from the movie cause they're very striking compared to everyone else's bright blue ones. I also just like grey eyes and there's not a lot of of them in comics. So Kon and Maik will look alike and will argue about who stole whose look, but it comes down to just their age and clothing. I think Maik will end up looking a bit more different when he gets older, but I think those two will resemble each other the most with the eyes and fashion being their difference sadly. As for their outfits, don't they all need those super awesome jackets? Connor sadly gets his black shirt and pants, it's boring, but you know which Super it is when you see this. I did liker Kon's outfit in Kelly's run and YJ98, but Maik's would start out as the same as in the movie, but I think he would keep a more subdued coloration in his outfit. I also think as he gets older, he would make his costume more punk-rock than just spiked shoulders. I'm not sure how exactly, but I like him having a music industry plant type of idea behind his creation and so I want to incorporate music styles into his older costume if that makes sense.

Well, we have how many Flashes now? It should be fine, right (laughing in DC's inability to give codenames to established heroes for mantle passing)? They would get new codenames, but I haven't thought that far ahead yet. Also their names would have to use some of their personality and stories (Nightwing coming from Clark's story, Troia coming from Donna's stay on the Greek Moon planet thingy, Tempest coming from his water magic, etc.). So that would take a bit to get a good codename for them. But them and both Jons would evolve into having their own codename. Kara at last could go for Superwoman (since as far as I know there isn't one running around (watch me be wrong and there's like 5).

Oh, I completely forgot about Matrix. I want to say since the goal of this AU is to give Ma and Pa Kent the biggest amount of grandchildren, I want to at first instinct say yes, but from what I remember about that, it's still just Kara just merged with another. Also, I just didn't enjoy the bits I've seen of it. But since I haven't read the whole story, I'm not going to say definitively no, but that was just a weird bit of Supergirl's history to me, but not enough for me to just, "yay, no" it. If you want those, ask me about Nightwing XD.

As for the "it's gotten more complicated" it might actually be more fun for you, since you like the paternity bit more, but again I haven't had a chance to read Kon's solo yet (I've been reading from the beginning and I haven't made it to Superman comics yet and until the 90's, there's not really any writer who I'm just going to skip (I can't with Dixon anymore. He can write good plots, but he's such an awful garbage person and it bleeds through too much for me. And actually between him and Fitzmartin, I almost started to hate Tim, but one of his fans actually helped me with that), so I still have awhile and time is a dick. But to the actual point, Connor is the first actual clone, but he isn't "alive" to the world as Contessa is keeping him a secret from Lex and so Lex decides to cut his losses and tries again and that's how we get Kon, but Kon on top of Lex and Luthor's DNA also has Westfield's DNA in the mix. So he'sd the first clone the world gets to know. As for where Contessa and Cadmus is storing Connor, I'm not 100%, since I really, really hated the clone tube, so they probably have a facility underground that they "trained" him in so that he would be perfect for their nefarious schemes. He 100% will keep Wolf, I don't know if it would be from an Outsiders' mission or a one off mission with the Titans, but he's getting Wolf. And I'm fine with him on the farm, the Supers can come and go from there and since it's centrally located, it's not a bad place for him to join up with others. He doesn't have flight, but he's fast and can jump. Also he can get the stickers from Lex again and one of the heroes could probably figure out a way to replicate them without the addiction issue, there's enough scientist to figure it out. I know absolutely nothing about Indigo, but as long as she isn't going to take him to the Legion of Superheroes I'm fine with it (still bitter about that arc with Kara in the show, it just never sat right with me). But I do like your idea of him staying at the Outsiders HQ until Clark invites him to the farm. I think Connor has more of a relationship with the Kents than Clark, because Clark just doesn't know him and after Kon doesn't know how to deal with this new, but older clone. And he has to deal with raising Jon, so he can't just drop everything to help raise this kid he never knew existed. I think it makes him more understandable than what YJ did with him where he just came off as a prick. The powers are right, the heat vision and cold breath aren't as strong as Clark or Kara's, but that can be enhanced with the shields and that's ofc where the flight comes in as well. I do think he has the most strength out of the three in terms of raw physical power. Kon's TTK though obviously wins in terms of actual strength.

Now, because I just want to make things over complicated for no reason, I get you like cybernatics, but as I'm not a big sci-fi fan, when Maik was being cloned, in an attempt to see if they could remove the kryptonite weakness, they had some red kyrptonite in the room where they were cloning him. He still has the weakness, but instead it warped his Kryptonian abilities to an extent. So for example, he has heat breath and frost vision. His superstrength isn't as strong as the others, but (thanks to your boiling water Kara thing), I think he has the strongest durability out of the Supers. This wasn't meant to contradict you, I just think it's funny Kara doesn't want to get him hurt, but if he's not around kryptonite, the kid could get punched by every other Super at full strength and he'd barely feel it. He's still strong and could punch a hole through a solid steel building without a problem, but he's losing the arm wrestling contests. He is also the one Lex had the most see-over on though so he is the smartest since he was basically being taught by Lex approved tutors and that. He also since he actually is the one clone that "got to be a kid" and if the aging thing was retconned, I'm fine with it, he started out as an actual kid, so he and Jon actually are one year apart (Jon's a year older, kid Jon, not teen Jon, as I said it got complicated, but another day), and he would have absorbed some of Lex's "morals", so he could have a good character arc of growing out of that greed inspired mindset and learning to see humans as humans. I do think the Danvers would be a great set for this. The Kents would be too, and they 100% get to help with their grandson, but the Danvers had Kara, who was a teen when they adopted her, with (depending on the timeline) good or bad Kryptonian ideaolgies and previous connotations on Earth and its inhabitants. So they have more experience with that than the Kents. Also, since he and Jon are essentially the same age and Maik starting as an antagonist, that would be a good start for them since it would give a chance of kids figuring out things and influencing each other and given what Jon has been through, it's not like he's 100% rainbows, unicorns and sunshine. He's been through the ringer, possibly more than any other Super, 3 years under Ultraman torture will do that to a person. More so, being left for dead and having to watch that person living your life. But yes, as Kon would have YJ and Connor would be best (for me personally) for the Outsiders with helping out the Titans and YJ at times, Maik would fit in perfectly with the amount of child heroes that exist right now. He might feel redundant if he joined up with Damian and Jon and the people I have on their youth team I have, but what's the harm in having two supers? But even excluding that fact, there's a large amount to make a team out of. And heck, he could even start on my Damian team, butt heads with him (not hard to do) and take a few with him to make his own team and get some of the others Damian couldn't recruit. Even more fun if it splits up the West twins so Wally and Linda have to listen to who has the better team at dinner at least twice a week. And for villains, they would have to fit a theme for him to grow, so if I were to write stories for him, I would want to figure out a good balance for that. I would have to think of a few examples, but someone targeting him for being Lex's son, clone, "hero", "weapon" wouldn't be bad, someone who isn't able to control their actions for one reason or another, I think an evil Toyman would be good to as well, a villain who wants the spotlight (like Punchline, but not as annoying, sorry I just don't like her), he'd be very good for a social media type of villain or a eugenics villain. There's potential for others, but for villains, I think the moral theme for the story should come before their gimmick for a good story (can you tell I'm a batbrat?).

As for the DNA samples, I think it'd be a cute story that Maik and Jon are wanting to be the babies (the twins come in after this so it's all pointless), and also just worried that since Cadmus and Lex both have had access to controlling all three clones, with each one being a stronger control (Maik even having a microchip just in case that Kara made inert whether through Kandor or heat vision, doesn't matter, but one of those), teaming up and Jon using some lockpicking skills he get from Damian and Maik knowing the layout of the building, breaking and entering and destroying the DNA samples Lex has and scanning the building for anything he could possibly use for more DNA and eradicating it. It doesn't even have to be a stressful comic, just a fun little one of them having fun destroying untold and unsolvable property damage to Lex Corp. Everyone wins. And I'll give you this for the cybernetics and Lex being more involved with him, we can give him electric touch. So he could be a human taser or stronger. Lightning has been shown able to incapacitate the Supers, so it wouldn't be a bad thing for Lex to put into the one he has the most control over, until he defects. But now relooking at the timeline you gave me, I don't know if Contessa could have been around for all three cloning attempts. If so, Maik could be the one she doesn't lie about to Lex, but if she couldn't have been in charge for Connor, the pettiness isn't needed. But I do like them lying to Lex that Connor was a failure, so when he finds out he's still alive and functioning, he tries to be a "good" dad with the stickers and to give him resources that Connor knows better than to accept after the incident with the stickers.

Moonbeam Cass (Reverse Robins)

As Duke's successor, Cass will of course be iterating on his design. Normally, this would've taken a lot longer to put together (as you've probably noticed, they tend to be multi-day designing marathons.) However, I had a stroke of inspiration last night that I absolutely love, and everything else came together very quickly after that, so let's start the ball rolling with Moonbeam's new helmet...

...a gold-mesh saber mask! Cass wraps the top in cream-colored fabric, so that it's an off-white helmet with a gold mesh bubble in front of her face. She also wears a white neck gaiter under it to further conceal her identity, even when the light does hit the mesh just right for someone to see through it.

I feel like Cass would go back to the demi-cuirass, but she'd change it up; now it's a cream-colored leather piece worn over the brassy/golden chainmail tunic, which obviously goes very well with the new mesh mask.

(This, but in off-white & without the tie. Its job is a little extra protection and displaying Moonbeam's symbol. On a meta level, it also helps visually break things up & keep them interesting.)

The Moonbeam symbol is still an iridescent white circle, but Cass's version is definitely ringed in gold.

The chainmail tunic hangs just past her knees, but splits into multiple panels (3-6, though I'm sure some people would draw it as individual strands, which while not practical, is a hell of a look that I absolutely support!) at the tops of her thighs.

Cass actually wears 2 utility belts, in that complete-fantasy way where they hang at a diagonal to form an X at hip-height. You know, the kind that would just fall off if anyone really tried to wear them that way, but looks so cool in character design?

(I'm so annoyed that I can't find a reference image for this, so here's a super-quick mockup thrown together in GIMP. Thanks to the base maker for saving me here.)

The undersuit Cass wears is white, but is only really visible on her legs; the chainmail is full-sleeve (fitted, rather than hanging loose.) It looks like she's wearing lightly padded white leggings, though they are, of course, made of the most flexible stab- & tear-resistant fabric Bruce could get his hands on.

Continuing down, Cass wears sturdy brown motorcycle boots, probably with a little pocket or two, under the same greaves she briefly wore in Red Robin (2009), but the greaves are the same golden as her mask.

(These boots but maybe a little taller, an example of pockets, and the awesome costume she wore for all of one single issue and then we never saw it again.)

Bouncing back up real quick, I'd give Cass her Orphan pauldrons, specifically this iteration of them where it looks like they have a little gold moon on them, but with a cream background instead of black.

(I want to say she has tiny matching elbow pads worn over the chainmail sleeves, though that's another detail I feel would disappear fast if anyone actually had to draw this costume for a comic. Possibly for good reason, I worry they might be just a little bit too much.)

Finally, Cass's costume is topped off with a pair of gauntlets; the metal is once again that creamy-white (this time with gold edging) and the leather base matches her boots perfectly.

(Source 1, Source 2. You'd be surprised how long I looked to find a style I actually liked for this costume.)

The Moonbeam circle that Duke wore on the back of his hand is now inlaid at the center of Cass's palm, and is rigged to actually work as a flash-weapon if she needs it to. This helps her pretend that Moonbeam still has Duke's powers, acts as a last-resort surprise in a pinch, and I'd like you to imagine her holding out her hand to help someone with a shimmering, inviting glow lighting up her palm.

(I also want you to imagine her standing next to Shadow!Steph, since they're basically a matched set. I was not actively working to have their costumes compliment eachother, since that wasn't the in-universe plan when Cass took up the mantle, but I think they'd compliment eachother nicely.)

I'm happy I was able to work in some more of the NPCs even if it was just into the background, so I'm glad you're liking seeing them. And yes! I don't have specific measurements on anyone's heights beyond a vague “X is taller than Y,” but she's the tallest member of the cast, all divinity and ancient magics and humanoid-but-not-human. And thanks for reading; I'm glad you're excited for the next chapter!

Andrew much prefers to deflect over lying outright, but if pressed claims to be 26 with a summer birthday (putting him as “29” in the comic now as he's lived in town for 3 years). Mid-twenties roughly aligns with his physical age, as he slowed and eventually stopped aging around that point, so people don't have any obvious reason not to believe it.

In the past, Andrew usually just moved around every long while, assuming things were otherwise peaceful. The jump from “this guy is weird and aging gracefully” to “this is an immortal being inextricably tied to this world and its fate” is quite large, especially since Andrew mostly kept to himself.

Living in Purity Town is a first in many ways for him, particularly in that he's serving an actual purpose to the town and has to both interact with people and stick around for the foreseeable future. Under normal circumstances he would absolutely gracefully arrange his leave, but then once you throw the hero being present into the mix things just get messy.

Honestly, with enough time he probably would come clean to the townsfolk. If he explained it to Chris delicately enough initially, Chris (and Alalia!) would eventually back him up and that'd likely do a lot to sway folks. Between their input and him having just…been around town long enough to show that he’s not a bad person and actually form some relationships, I think it would go okay.

Honestly, I have no idea! It's probably a combination of factors in my art style (like my tendency to use solid/clean lines and keep painted portions to the background) playing nice with however Tumblr crunches images. I know that Webtoons struggles a good bit more with my pages due to color/resolution limitations, but Tumblr’s always been pretty good with it. That's all just a rough guess though; I couldn't find your art on your blog to examine so I'm just throwing out ideas!

Possibly relevant, each page is 2320x3587 pixels (350 dpi) after I trim the edges and export it as a .png. Downloading pages from Tumblr saves them as a 1987x3072 (72 dpi) jpeg, but preserves the fine details pretty well. So that’s what we’re working with here!

(Interestingly, after some testing I found that Reddit preserves the higher resolution of pages, but crunches their colors around areas of shading, while Tumblr smoothly fuzzes them when it downscales.)

I'm happy to see more folks caught what I was going for there! I didn't draw much of her shimmered design since she's mostly covered and under some heavy effects, but it was cool to work with. Purity Town is somewhat formatted for print by virtue of having pages instead of vertical-scrolling but I know that the chapters are kinda short and pages would probably need to be re-formatted around the edges to fit book binding.

Chapter titles are done in Albertus Medium (with the exception of the "Purity Town" text and character intro bubbles, which is in the Terraria font Andy Bold). Speech bubbles use Segoe Print. There's not really any concrete reasoning behind the fonts I picked (beyond the obvious choice to use the Terraria font), I just chose ones that looked good enough, haha.

I hate, and I mean HATE when they draw Felicia as shorter than Peter. Why? Because canonically they're the same height. They are BOTH 5'10.

Felicia should NEVER be drawn shorter than Peter, and if anything she should be drawn taller than him on many occasions, literally whenever she's in any type of heel.

But comic artists just seem to forget this. Like I swear I can't be the only one who notices this. They'll either draw her inches shorter than him, or draw them at the same height, but sneekily put her in heels or wedges. (Like the video game does.)

This I can excuse because it could be from before her height was established but excuse me???? what the fuck is this?????

Why is he like 5-6 inches taller than her? Hmm? Below is how it should be. Felicia should always be at eye-level with Peter.

They'll let her stand in heels next to 6'1 Tony Stark (in the panels it makes her the same height as him, but not taller. Even though she looks to be wearing 5 inch heels and not 3 inch, but WHATEVER) but they never let Felicia stand in heels next to Peter.

And if they do they either make them the same height, therefore implying she's shorter than him without heels, or they say fuck it and make him like 6 inches taller. I froth and foam at the mouth

Yu-Gi-Oh!, part the third. Malik!Surge and Rishid!Kit was the best brainwave I've had for this AU, it works so well. I might even use it in reverse for my Sonic/Yu-Gi-Oh! AU, too. though that only works if I keep Yami Yugi as Sonic, which I'm thinking of changing. and I already had a very amusing slot for the Ishtars... hmm, decisions, decisions.

I've been kind of deliberately vague about their appearances in the fic itself because last time I wrote a big long human!Bionicle fic where I was more specific about their appearances I. wound up hating it later lol. I will say though that my Bionicle Sports Anime designs aren't necessarily what I have in mind when writing! (Those are mostly just for drawing Bionicle fanart without having to draw robots and possible eventual comic reasons.)

I do have some stuff in mind, though! I'm putting it under a readmore because it wound up getting fairly long lol

Tahu: redhead, toned and fairly beefy on account of the MMA but not like dehydrated about it, jeans, t-shirts, and button-downs with the sleeves rolled up kinda guy

Kopaka: my brother thinks he should be albino but I'm on the fence there, either way he does have blue eyes and light hair cut pretty short, glasses, tall and thin

Gali: petite, curly hair usually pulled back from her face, wears a lot of long, flowy clothes (cardigans, skirts, etc.)

Onua: short af, fat, muscular, hairy, I've made Gimli jokes before but I honestly do picture him looking like Senshi DungeonMeshi with less beard, almost exclusively wears black jeans, glasses are not prescription but to help with his light sensitivity

Pohatu: tall, runner's build (muscular legs, kind of average weight distribution tbh), thick brown hair that he's been growing out, tends towards muted colours and earth tones

Lewa: fucking beanpole, tall, thin, and gangly, hair is a bird's nest 99% of the time and he has given up trying, wears green almost to the complete exclusion of other colours, loves himself some good cargo pants

Vakama: glasses and tidy beard, greying hair, middling height, wears a lot of old man sweaters/cardigans

Nokama: taller than Matau but shorter than Vakama, hair is going grey but she dyes it, carries herself with grace and poise, it's. I do picture Lucretia Adventurezone a little bit while writing her ngl

Matau: short!!! absolute manlet and either mad about it or chill with it depending on which is funnier in context, wears loud shirts

Onewa: was not a cane user at the start of the story but is one now on account of his bad back, growing his beard out, worst case of resting bitch face you've ever seen, decently tall

Whenua: tallest Turaga, thick glasses, has worn a dress shirt and tie to work every day for the last 20+ years and isn't going to stop now even if his husband makes fun of him for it >:(

Nuju: average height, long fingers, went white by age 35 (claims it's from stress but it just runs in the family, Kualus was also fully white by 35 and Matoro probably will be too), dresses nicely but not a full shirt and tie like some people

Takua: built like Lewa (tall and gangling), dyes his hair blue, fashion choices are "the colours gave me a headache so I bought it immediately"

Krahka: I mean sometimes she's a fox and sometimes she's got six arms and tits the size of her head, she can look however she wants

Meet the Voyager Twins, V1 and V2, ambassadors of the planet Earth. Robotic probes built by Earth with the purpose of exploring the outer solar system and beyond. V1 is a no nonsense woman intent of fulfilling her duties of exploring the cosmos in search for intelligent life to one day make Earth proud. She is good friends with Saturn who never wants to see her brother ever again. V2 on the other hand takes his Job less seriously, wile V1 is in meetings with other stars, V2 is throwing big parties with other the planets and moons getting wasted - (even though he’s a robot he can still get drunk.). He is also good friends with Uranus and Neptune who V1 blames for worsening her brother’s unprofessional behavior. They are currently on their way back to Sol from Tau Ceti after V2 lost his golden record at a massive party that embarrassed his sister in front of the boss Tau Ceti her self. She has dragged her brother on the first bus back to Earth to get a replacement disk bc she is not intent on sharing hers after that fresco. This was the last straw.

So far I only have a sketch of their Chibi  designs but they are taller than Earth in universe.

I know that was a lot of lore and I have so much more for these 2 and the other probes and rovers we sent to space. Thank you so much for reading my mad ramblings I’m just really passionate about space and I’ve been invested in this comic for the past few weeks now. I wanted to add my own OCs and realized the space probes did not have antihero forms in the comic so I just want to get my ideas so far out there and help spread the comic too new people who also like space. I don’t have the stamina to draw the rest of the comic, but there’s still a lot in my head, so I wrote it!

Mikey felt it as Donnie's shoulders tensed and his brother drew into himself. He peeked an eye open, felt the warm glow of his ninpo greeting him, and looked. Looked not in the way that other people looked, but the way he did. Having no experience properly seeing, there was no way to compare his ninpo to what his sight should be, what it's like.

It was like conviction. When he opened his eyes, his heartbeat would quicken and his breath would become shallow. And then, all of a sudden, he knew things. He had already known about the desk to his right, but now he knew what was on it.

About four water bottles of varying fullness, dirty bowls(ew, Donnie) screwdrivers, mechanical parts that Mikey didn't recognize the feeling of, tools, and other various objects.

But that wasn't what he wanted to look at right now. He wanted to look at his sibling. So he did.

The moment Mikey shifted his focus to his sibling, he regretted it. Donnie was taller than him, much taller than him, but right now he looked small. His protective shell framed his face, hands flapping uselessly in front of him as he tried to convey his distress. He was curled into himself, making his eyes meet Mikey's.

Mikey had never seen Donnie cry, had never even heard it. But now he had.

Mikey snapped his eyes shut, already shaking from exertion. It was hard to use his ninpo like that, to see.

He felt a clothed forehead press against his, and he leaned into the comfort, though they were both shaking.

"It's okay, you don't gotta talk." He murmured. "It was a long time ago. Do you want me to talk about it?" He felt Donnie nod, and he wrapped his arms around his stiff-as-cardboard sibling.

He tapped against the metal shell and hummed, hoping to relieve some of the tension.

"It was two summers ago," he began. "I think. I'm not really sure."

Mikey sighed deeply, resting his chin on Donnie's metal shoulder. Everything was kind of blurred. It was something he didn't want to remember, and so he didn't. Not fully.

"I felt trapped. Out of control. I was struggling more and more to understand what was going on around me, now that I had discovered my ninpo. To be able to see and suddenly have it ripped away again because my body couldn't handle it? I couldn't handle it."

Mikey's fingers thrummed nervously on Donnie's back, and his sibling pulled their own arms around him. There was a small squeeze, and Mikey felt a bit more grounded.

"I couldn't imagine waiting to get better, if I could get better at all. So I decided to do something I could control. So I took a pair of scissors and took them to my knees." At that, Donnie's arms squeezed tighter, the larger turtle fully enveloping Mikey now, but he found he couldn't stop.

"I think Leo knew." He choked out. "I forgot that you guys would be able to see the scabs, I didn't know to hide them." Tears poked at his eyes. "I'm glad I couldn't see her face. Her silence was enough. And- and she didn't push it, which I'm grateful for." Mikey sniffled. "I think she knew it would only make things worse, but occasionally she would check me over, or she would go quiet and I would feel her eyes on me."

Mikey choked out a laugh. "You guys are stupid when it comes to staring. I can't see you, but I still have other senses, you know." Donnie let out a breath that was almost a laugh. That was a good sign.

Mikey hated every part of this. He was supposed to be the happy sibling, the noise to Donnie's quiet, soft to Raph's quickfire, an open book to Leo's reserve. But these thoughts had been weighing heavy on his mind, and the internet told him to talk to a trusted adult.

Sure, he trusted Dad, but he didn't trust him not to freak out, throw all the knives in the ocean, and babyproof the house. And Leo? God, that option was worse. She'd scoop him up with her gaze and never let him go. He'd never be alone again. And Raph would probably punch something with his tail, which they were all tired of, so Donnie was the best bet. Process of elimination, baby.

"And I wanted her to stop looking, to stop reminding me of the very thing I couldn't do. Sooo I covered them up. Remember when I wore pants for a few months?"

There was one, quick, jerk of Donnie's chin down. A nod.

"I don't know what happened, but after a while, I just stopped cutting. I couldn't tell you why. I was just... better. Or something. And-" Mikey squeezed Donnie tighter, anxiety flaring as his fingers continued to tap tap tap. "and I dunno if it was because I'm a mutant or what, but the scars faded fast. Well, I think. I've checked as best I can, and no one's said anything, so I have to assume they did. And that makes me wonder.

"Was... was it even really cutting? I never went very deep, the blood never flowed too fast to clean up. The scabs didn't last, the scars probably haven't, so I don't know what to make of it. Maybe I was just some dumb kid, desperate for attention, to feel special, to-"

Suddenly Donnie was ripped away from him, and he shivered at the sudden cold of the air. Footsteps quickly retreated away from him, toward the desk to Mikey's right. He chirped, desperate to understand what was happening, why Donnie left.

Had he been right?

The fast, angry clicks of a keyboard filled the room.

Was he really just an attention-seeking jerk, who was undermining other's experiences in cutting-

"Shut the fuck up."

The voice was robotic and jerky, devoid of emotion. And yet somehow it contained a calm, seething rage underneath it. Donnie was standing at his laptop, Mikey figured. He was typing his words into what… a text-to-speech?

the typing hesitated for a moment.

“-that. You’ve kept it to yourself all this time. That’s not how attention-seeking works, White-eyed Viero.”

Oh whoops. Donnie used his full name. Not good!

“It’s not fair. Not to yourself. Not to anyone else. So please. Shut the fuck up.”

Mikey’s face burned and he doubled, folding over his legs as he still sat on one of the lab’s desks. He sobbed, open and loud and messy and normally he would hate himself for that but this time he didn’t. Stiff, but warm and friendly arms enveloped him, and he threw himself against Donnie’s hug.

He felt his sibling shudder at the feeling of his snot and tears. Right. This was totally gross. He had interrupted Donnie’s day, trauma dumped, and snotted on him. Some sunshine brother.

“‘M sorry-“ he tried to pull away, but Donnie hugged him tighter. He heard a click and-

“Shut the fuck up.”

Mikey gaped. “Did you record that on a mini speaker so you could tell me to shut it at the click of a button??”

“Shut the fuck up.”

Mike giggled, tears slowing.

“You are such a nerd.”

“Shut the fuck up.”

THIS IS. MUCH LONGER THAN I EXPECTED!!

This is very much projecting. So much. This wasn’t the direction I expected to take Mikey’s character in. I’ve been reading too many Mikey self esteem fics lamo. This was such a relief to write though, I loved every second of it. I feel lighter in a way.

Before anyone gets worried, I have TWO(2!!) irl(online) Donnie’s that I can fall back on when I need to talk or cry like Mikey.

I hope other people who have felt the same can find the comfort in this that I do. Every like and reblog is appreciated.

Small Victories Pt. 2

The paring is Han Jisung x F!Reader. The reader isn't into K-Pop but when your best friend gets your friend group a position in a contest to win a chance to preform with stray kids. You may not want to do it but you will do anything for Gwen. What can happen its not like you'll win.

Warning there is some mentions of reader's cheating ex

It had been exactly two weeks since we started preparing for this contest. We have spent nearly everyday working hard to master these performances. Working so hard that Gwen and the others decided we deserve a break day. So taking full advantage of finally being able to do whatever I want, I'm sitting at my favorite café drawing panels for my comic. I had been so deep into designing the panels I didn't realize Gwen had texted me so in her normal fashion she just called me instead of waiting for my response. Looking over at my phone I sighed, setting my pencil down, exchanging it for the annoying device. 

“Yeeees?” I answered the phone nonchalantly.

“Hey! I'm so sorry to ask but,” there's always a but. “I need you to come over and help me with the costumes..” as she said this I sighed at her.

“So much for a break day.” I know she could tell I was rolling my eyes. “Look, give me like 30 minutes and I'll be there.” 

“Thank you, I don't know what I would do without you Y/N!” I'm glad one of us is happy I hung up the call. I looked down at my artwork smiling to myself before I packed my things away into my bag. I was really starting to love how my story was playing out. As of recently I haven't had much time to work on it. Once this contest was over I could finally get back to spending most of my time on the comic. 

Standing up I waved at the barista behind the counter smiling at her before walking out the café. As I walked out I collided with a man who was a little taller than me, he was wearing a hat along with a face mask. As we collided my bag dumped out onto the sidewalk. Pure panic set in the moment I saw a few of my sketchbook pages scattered on the ground. Quickly I started trying to pick them up when the mystery man crouched down and began helping me.

“I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention and i didn't see you.” the stranger apologized to me as he looked down at the pages he was holding. “Whoa! Did you draw these?” He seemed impressed even though he was having a good reaction to my drawings. I was still extremely embarrassed. 

I smiled at him before taking my drawings back and repacking my bag. “Uhh, yes I did. I'm kinda writing a comic book.” saying it out loud to a stranger made me feel weird. I honestly hope this guy just glosses over it and we go about our ways. 

“That's really cool actually.'' All I could see of his face were his eyes and that definitely didn't give me much to go off of. “I'm actually a really big comic book fan.” I could tell by his voice he was smiling. 

“Oh really? Me too!” as i said this my phone went off snapping me back into reality. “I'm so sorry I really need to get going.” 

“Oh ok, umm id like to see more of your work.” he said this as he pulled his phone out of his pocket. “Could I get your number? Maybe you could send me some panels.." I blushed at his question. He wanted to see more of my art. Nervously I nodded , taking his device and typing my number in. “I'm sorry, again.”

Smiling one last time to him I said, “no worries!'' I quickly made my way to Gwen's house. She wondered why I had been a little late so I informed her of the mystery man. She was tickled to death over the situation. Talking about how I met my soulmate which I quickly shut down. I'm not worried about relationships, the last one I was in destroyed me. I'm not trying to get into anything. Even though it's been 2 years I still don't want to deal with it.

“Come on! You can't tell me if you saw his face and he was cute you would be so in love with him.” she said this, raising her eyebrows at me.

Scoffing at her I rolled my eyes, “as if! I'm not you hoe." We started laughing then dropping the conversation about the mystery man we started getting to work on piecing together costumes. After a while of sowing we decided to take a break. Gwen started scrolling on twitter and I started drawing of course. About ten minutes into our break My friend let out a dramatic gasp. I looked up at her, raising an eyebrow waiting for her to explain. 

“There's no fucking way!” She kept staring at her screen in disbelief. “I need you to look at this tweet, but don't freak out.” she held her phone out for me to take it. Still looking at her confused i took the phone in my hands. I looked at the tweet in shock trying to figure out what I was looking at.

“Do you think you ran into HAN!?” she asked as if her life depended on it causing me to shake my head. 

“There is no way I ran into Han Jisung.” I tossed her the phone. “That's just a coincidence.” It has to be true though what is the possibility that his tweet was talking about me. Plus even if it was the mystery guy still hasn't texted me so it's not like i could ask him who he was. “Even if it is, you know how I feel about men.”

Rolling her eyes at me she set her phone down. “We will just have to see if it is then.” crossing her arms she looked over at me. “Not every man is your ex Y/N. One day you're gonna find a guy you wanna date.” 

I laughed at her comment, “yeah when hell freezes over!” together we laughed off the whole situation. A few hours later we finished a lot of costume work and I decided it was time for me to get home. After saying our goodbyes I began my walk home. It was dark now and the streets were empty, usually this would make me nervous. Tonight however I found it peaceful. The stars were shining, there was a lack of clouds allowing for the moonlight to illuminate the surroundings. 

Nights like this made me think back to a time when I never walked alone. It's been a long time since I've existed like that. Having a companion who was with me for everything. When you start to depend on someone, that's when you give them a way to destroy you. They get the power to tear you down with their words and actions. It only takes one mistake to shatter someone's heart. 

It was a night much like this one. I was walking home alone, that night it was unusual. Normally i walked hand and hand with him home no matter what he was always there. Pushing down the growing fear in my stomach I wondered why I felt this way. He didn't need to be with me all the time, but this wasn't like him. I rushed home to the home we made together. When I opened the door I saw an extra pair of shoes by his. I stared at them trying to find a way to convince myself they belonged to his mom or maybe his sister. Neither of them ever wore heels but maybe they were a gift. Walking down the hall I saw no one in the kitchen or living room. I could start to feel myself shaking as I heard noises. 

I pushed the door open and that was the night I lost all the light I had in me. It was the night all the butterflies died and turned to punches that I screamed at to come back to life. Sadly, screaming doesn't make the pain better. I don't understand why something that happened so long ago could hurt like this. Still deep in thought I walked through my door setting my bag down on the counter. I ran a hand through my hair trying to decide if I was going to go to  bed or force myself to eat. Going to bed wining, I headed to my room and changed. As I laid  in my bed I heard my phone go off, sighing I picked it up it was a message from a new number. Hello mystery man I quickly opened the message.

We texted back and forth and ended up playing 20 questions until two in the morning. It was weird i didn't really talk to men or people. Unless it has to do with commission work or something with my friends I don't usually talk to anyone. I say that but here I am staring at a screen waiting for this random guy to respond to me. This honestly made me feel dumb yet still i continued to talk to him. 

For the next week I spent most of my free time getting to know Peter. We had quite a few things in common. We both enjoyed a lot of the same mangas, comics, and anime. We both loved cheese cake more than life and we both preferred cold coffee. We both could play instruments and dance. Since we started talking I've asked him what he looks like. I would get excuses about how he hates how he looks and me being an insecure person too, I respected his privacy. I still wished I had a face to place with the name one day he'll show me.

There was a small, mostly rural town in

Vermont: the population wasn't that big,

maybe about 1000-2000. They weren't that

fond or familiar with the paranormal,

besides a small group of friends and their

names were:

Orville (the group leader), PJ (His best friend), and Jenny (legally blonde).

They had plans to go into the local forest in

the middle of winter and go camping, and

they did.. Not without self protection,

though, Orville's dad gave Orville a giant

kitchen knife and told Orville to hide the

body well (jokingly) or he won't bail him outta

jail. They went into the forest and set up

camp in a small clearing, they even lit a fire!

(after clearing some of the snow, first)

Jenny said that she forgot her bag in the

car, so she went to go get it, but not without

the huge-ass knife Orville's dad gave them!

As she walked she heard a twig snap, but

she didn't step on any sticks.

she looked around and pulled out the knife,

that's when she was knocked down.

a strange, weirdly cartoony creature was on

top of her! She tried cutting the creature but

the creature sliced her throat wide open

with its claws.

It then proceeded to gut her like a pig and

eat her organs since it was hungry.

Orville went searching for Jenny and he

eventually found a trail of blood and the big

knife, he picked up the knife and followed

the trail of blood until he found a little

creature (the alien) eating someone's innards.

Orville immediately knew it was Jenny's

organs, for some reason. He yelled at the

alien and lunged at it with the knife,

stabbing it in its dumb fuxking head. The

alien knocked Orville over and scratched

him up a bit (it fucked up his left eye).

Pj was scared out of his mind, so he rolled

up his sleeves and went to go search for

Orville and Jenny himself, and he eventually

found Jenny's dead body but ran past it,

swallowing his puke as to not throw up on

himself, he then found Orville and a

creature, he was scared and went to go

reach for the knife and his friend, the c

reature growled and knocked him over onto

his ass, Pj screamed at the creature:

"WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM US?"

The creature alien responded:

"Leave my forest."

And Pj did that, he picked up Orville and ran

as fast as he can, scratching his arms up in

the process.

Tldr: small town friend trio goes camping:

one dies because an alien ate her, one was

badly injured, and the other ran away with

the previous person.

she's pretty tall, let's say.. about 5'11, taller

than Pj, shorter than Orville.
