Once upon a time, a child was born who seemed to have a normal life like any other. However, after five years, his family noticed that he still looked like a baby. Concerned, they took him to various doctors and specialists, but no one could explain his condition. Despite his appearance, the child went to school, where he was often ridiculed for looking like a baby. Enrolling him in school was a challenge for his parents, as the officials couldn't believe he was of school age and thought he was only a toddler. It was also unusual for people to see a baby who could speak fluently. The boy persevered and eventually earned his diploma. His unique appearance soon catapulted him into the world of fame. People were amazed to see him in TV commercials, often thinking that computer techniques were used to create his image. Before long, he found himself in the world of cinema, starring in science fiction films, comedies, and children's programs.Over time, the constant attention and fame wore him down. Since childhood, he had longed to grow up like everyone else, attend university, and pursue his interests. Seeking a simpler life, he moved to a remote village, where he started working on a farm and embraced an organic lifestyle. In the village, he met a woman, and they eventually married. Now, he lives a peaceful life with his wife and child, determined to ensure that his child never faces the hardships he endured.
as a child there's nothing cooler than a kid who gets subjected to evil experiments and gains special abilities. it's even cooler if these abilities also cause unfathomable suffering to use/against others. children love stories like this.
EVERY SINGLE DAY there are MILLIONS of characters in their late 20s who get falsely accused of being father figures to teenagers when in reality the description of "weird older cousin" or "step-sibling that moved out before you were born" is 1000000x more apt
ten years ago you were so scared of such different things, but you survived them anyway. the same goes for five years ago and two years ago. everything that has ever felt like a hurdle, you’ve passed through. so be afraid, identify your fears, and then allow yourself to remember that in just a little while, this will be another thing that you have overcome.
What change, big or small, would you like your blog to make in the world?

damian is surprisingly good at playing a non traumatised ten year old. at first he doesn’t understand why he would need to ever play the part until he watches his family act at a gala. he now understands the mission to protect their identities.
he slips into the role easily. he acts shy around strangers and soft around his siblings. even going so far as to let them carry him around. if he notices someone is uncomfortable or not overwhelmed he will walk up to his father with puppy dog eyes taught to him by grayson and say “father i’m tired” the other members of gotham high society will coo at his formal words and father will scoop him up before collecting his other siblings.
he’s also unsurprisingly good at fake crying. (i mean look at the poor kid and all his trauma)
Reminder that the US bombed Iraq a day ago. Reminder that this attack has killed 16 Iraqis, many of whom were civilians. Reminder that Iraq has already suffered enough at the hands of US imperialism, that to this day it’s recovering from the aftermath of being defamed to the world as terrorists, from its cities being destroyed under the guise of “exterminating ISIS” (an echo of Israel decimating Palestine to “exterminate Hamas,” interesting), that the US has so many ulterior motives to continue encroaching upon Iraq that have nothing to do with their seemingly noble rationale, and that it does all this while funding Israel’s ongoing genocide of Palestinians (which are basically doing their dirty work of pushing further in on Arab territory). It’s jarring that this is all happening on a world stage & yet nothing is being done to stop it. Hands off Iraq. Free Palestine. Hands off Iraq. Free Palestine.
