Cardio is obviously the first exercise for weight loss and is great if you’re not currently doing any kind of cardio already. There are many different types of cardio, including walking, running, swimming, cycling, and others. If you want to lose weight, make sure you keep your heart rate going at about 70 percent of your maximum heart rate. When you do cardio, try to go for 30 minutes at a time three times per week and cut down on high calorie foods throughout the day.
2. Strength Training

Jumping rope burns calories and builds stamina. Try jumping rope twice a week with a total minimum of 20 minutes of jumping. Use the technique where you skip rope in front of your feet and jump over both ropes. Make sure to hold yourself steady and perform jumps of 30 seconds or longer.
5. Yoga
Yoga is great for building flexibility, strength, balance, and endurance. If you really want to increase your strength, yoga is the perfect workout. so funny when elden ring fans are like “using magic? easy mode. your wins don’t even count.” when they’re wielding an ultra great sword that does like 800 damage and staggers each hit and has an insane reach. like. i have 100s of hours in this game at this point and i prefer pure melee but it’s stupid when people act like the game isn’t balanced.
It’s almost like the game is designed to reward you for both finding tools and then investing stats to use those tools well... and the variety of tools present allows for different type of experiences that different players might prefer…

i'm sorry but i just don't think intermittent fasting is a good diet, like i'm glad it works for some people and i am willing to acknowledge that there are studies showing certain positive impacts of it like i'm not gonna deny any of that, but at the end of the day, i think it's more likely to cause more harm than good for the average person

August… time to get spooky.
#dadbots.txt#this has been in my draft for... almost a month. Yikes.#I’ve been dissociating hella hard these past months or something. swear I don’t remember time moving this fast. maybe it’s just me tbh.#idk what to say about July other than… boring? not much happened and I don’t really remember it if I’m honest. just. mm. shrugs.#best way to describe it LOL#been sleeping a LOT lately and I think it’s fatigue again. was it like anything before? no. not at that rate (yet) but just.#where you wanna sleep and sleep and sleep type of fatigue. you never feel rested and just gotta sleep it off kinda.#just one of those moments yknow.#it sucks. all I’m doing is letting the days pass me by and ‘missing out’ on living life when I could be enjoying it. but I lost interest -#- in doing so for months - years now due to personal health matters. And whaddya know - it came back again. after months of healing.#I'm pretty pissed as it does feel like a slap in the face. but you win some - you lose some. Gonna try and fight through it.#I wrote something at the beginning of august but that got deleted. Had a breakdown and thought huh. what a great way to start the month -#and now it's almost september. Just like that. What a month it's been. Stuck on what else to say but that really.#don't want to keep talking about depressing stuff as that's what i used to do and realized hey. maybe you should stop doing that so often#and not use it so casually in humor and/or stuff. Even though I reblog vents here n' all. but yknow.#maybe it is hypocritical. but that's not the point. Last year was rough & i'm afraid this year will be another repeat#though I did come out to a family member this month and that was like a punch to the gut. Ooooh I love this question I rarely get to talk about health on here so buckle up I have so many things to say abt this topic.
So at minimum I do 16 hour fasts. Anything less than that I don’t count as fasting. When you start and when you end is up to you. I’m a night owl so I prefer to eat my last meal at 10pm and then break my fast later in the evening the next day.
I try to do a 24 hour fast once a week or every other week. Once you get used to 16 hour fasts the 24 hour fasts are easy.
During my fasts I drink lots of water and try to avoid coffee and teas cause it can make you nauseous on an empty stomach.
While fasting 16 hours everyday is so good for your health I still have days like when I’m on my period or when I have pms that I won’t fast cause it’s so important to listen to your body cause it will tell you. Some days I need to have some bone broth or chicken soup before I go to work but if I feel like skipping my fast I will eat something very light like soup.
And also when you first start fasting it’s normal to get headaches and feel immense hunger but after a few fasts you won’t feel those symptoms at all cause you’re body adapts.
Now some of the benefits I’ve noticed from fasting are
weight loss
increased energy
mental clarity
cleared my gut health issues
cured my headaches and acid reflux
I’m better able to enter the void state when I meditate and just have amazing lucid dreams
it’s the number one way to get rid of cravings
And the reason I even started fasting was cause I had really painful period cramps and I read that fasting can help with that and it works 100%. My period symptoms have decreased so much from the day I started fasting to my next period the difference was huge. Before I was fasting I had to call in sick to work cause my stomach and my back hurt like crazy along with content headaches.

Watch your posture.  Poor posture can lead to bone damage, decreased blood circulation, fatigue, and loss of muscle strength.  If you must sit, keep your shoulders back, your chin tucked, and your stomach pulled toward your spine in order to keep muscles engaged, bones aligned, and circulation flowing.
Take a stand. If you’re able, why not opt for a standing desk?  Not only will your heart thank you, but standing desks have been proven to increase brain function, creativity, and productivity.
Work it out. Commit to exercising every single day. Go on a walk during lunch.  Plan to attend a fitness class.  Choose the far parking spot.  Every minute of physical activity counts!
