Just finished watching Sonic 3 and it was awesome!! Haven’t seen anyone written for movie Shadow yet sooo.. 👀

Warnings?: No spoilers for the movie in this! But maybe him being out of character, I haven’t wrote anything in years lol

- I feel like his love languages would be quality time and physical touch, he wouldn’t be used to touch at first but would gradually warm up to it. Definitely wouldn’t be the type to be over the top with public affection. Maybe handholding or a hand on your waist in public, but that’s probably it

- Might would be one to get jealous, needs reassurance that you’re not leaving and that you love him, truly. He’s been through a lot and needs to know that you’re not leaving him too

- Likes looking at the stars with you!! Reminds me of that one meme

- I feel like he’d like the game Stray, cause cats!! I feel like he absolutely loves cats. Would also probably like Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing. Anything that’s a calm game where you can just do whatever

- Speaking of cats.. he’d love going to a cat cafe with his s/o, would probably want to take them all home afterwards though

- Would end up having a black cat come up to him, rubbing against him and purring. He’d just pick up the cat and ask

- And motorcycle rides!! They’d be so fun, but if you get scared if he ever goes too fast, just ask for him to slow down or go a normal speed, he’d probably listen (cause it’s you)

- Gets all blushy and flustered when it comes to physical affection and kisses, he’s not used to it but he loves it

- He’d also like music, specifically older songs. Likes to put vinyls on a record player and dance with you to the song :’)) even if you don’t know how to dance, he’ll try and guide you

Yoichi Isagi x Reader

Content: You love your sweet and kind boyfriend, but what about that other side of him? What are you willing to do to get the monster inside of him out to play?

     You and Yoichi have conflicting and busy schedules so when you two finally get a day off together, you take full advantage of it. It's usually spent going on dates and quality time, but you really couldn't go out today due to the weather warnings of a blizzard.

     So, you decided to stay in and watch a movie. You picked a random romance film, which turned out to be quite good. However, you didn’t expect the intimate scenes—or the way they’d leave you feeling so aroused.

     You were curled up beside Yoichi, just like always when the two of you sat close. Your heart raced as the couple on screen shared their passionate moments. Even after the movie ended, the lingering frustration between your legs remained, and Yoichi’s hand resting casually on your hip didn't help.

     You silently prayed that he wouldn’t figure it out. Somehow, he always seemed to know. Even before joining Blue Lock, he had a knack for reading your thoughts, but after coming back, his ability to read you had only sharpened.

     You swallowed hard, feeling your boyfriend shift behind you as he stretched.

     "That was a good movie, what'd ya think?" He asked, tilting his head towards you.

     "Was good." You said quickly, knowing that if you spoke more than three words, your tone would give away how you were feeling.

     Yoichi didn't find your response too odd, as you have often given vague answers in the past when asked about this sorta stuff.

     But it was your body language that betrayed you.

     "You okay?" He asked, his eyes showing concern. It made your heart melt how gentle and caring he was with you. So sweet and kind, it was the Yoichi you fell in love with your first year of High School.

     "Mhm" you responded, making the incredibly stupid decision of hiding your face in his chest. You thought this would throw him off your trail. He wouldn't be able to read you anymore and would just assume you needed some cuddles.

     But the flaw you didn't consider was how much worse this would make your problem.

     Being this close to him made it so much harder to contain the lustful thoughts that clouded your head. You also didn't consider how shifting yourself to fit into his chest would cause his hand to fall from your hip to above your thigh. This wasn't good.

     All was quiet for a moment, though. You thought you had beaten him, you felt a little proud of yourself too. All you could hear was the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.

     But then you heard him whisper in your ear, "I know you need me right now."

     A shiver ran down your spine.

     You looked up at him bewildered, a smirk playing on his lips. Before you could open your mouth to ask how, he already answered.

     "Tense, thighs pressed shut, not to mention that look on your face and how fast your heart is racing. I'm a little offended you thought I wouldn't notice."

     You look at his happy little grin, like he's accomplished something great. All you could do is roll your eyes, feeling extremely embarrassed and flustered.

     "So?" Is all you could manage to muster.

     "Wanna do something about it?" Yoichi murmurs in your ear, looking effortlessly sexy with his dark hair in his eyes and his tongue poking in his cheek.

     "Hm, maybe" You tease, your shy smile becoming something more mischievous.

     He can’t help but lean in and capture your lips in a soft kiss, holding you so tenderly like you'd break under his touch. So gentle. And you loved it, you loved how careful he was with you.

     But right now, you didn't want gentle.

     You wanted crazy, rough, and borderline feral Isagi. The one the world sees on the soccer field. There was only one way to get that Yoichi, and it was to deprive him of control.

     You stop your boyfriends roaming hands, constraining them in place. You could tell it caught him off guard. He knew he was what you wanted, he couldn't have possibly assumed wrong, and you even gave in to the kiss. Why were you doing the opposite of what you want? Why weren't you letting him touch you?

     "Baby, what's wrong?" He asked so innocently, baby blue eyes clouded with confusion. It almost made you feel bad. Your poor baby.

     You pulled away from the kiss, staring into those eyes. There was no fire in them yet. You needed to do more to get him riled up.

     You go back in for a kiss but this time on his neck. You shift a little, lifting yourself up onto his lap. You leave sloppy kisses along his jawline, neck, and collarbone while lazily grinding against him.

     He opens his mouth a little, pretty little noises escaping past his soft lips. And then you just stopped. Now he was even more confused. Why were you teasing him? Was it just for fun to torture him like this?

     That's when you saw it, the spark. A slight frown also began tugging at his lips. He was beginning to grow frustrated. You needed one more push to replace your sweet, kind boyfriend with the domineering, best striker in the world Yoichi Isagi.

     You could tell he was giving you some grace, he wanted to believe you weren't doing it on purpose. But you needed him to realize what it was you wanted. He was always reading your mind and figuring out things you didn't want him to. Let's see if he can figure out something you do want him to.

     As your final move, you completely pulled yourself off of him. You admit, it pained you to leave him all hot and bothered like that. You stood up and got ready to casually walk away, thinking of what excuse you were going to give.

     "Just where do you think you're going?" He erupted, a hand landing on your waist, pulling you back towards him. You collapsed underneath him on the bed, his hands pinning you to the mattress.

     "The kitchen?" You say, trying to act like you didn't know what you were doing.

     "Try again." He commands. His face was mere inches away from yours again. There was no way you were going to leave him like this, with a problem only you could solve. You could see the little flames starting to appear.

     You couldn't help the smug grin that broke out of your lips. "Why don't you find out, egoist?"

     It's like you flipped a switch inside of him and now his mind was racing with thoughts. Thoughts of fucking you to oblivion and thoughts of what the hell you were playing at.

     “what’s the matter?” you lay waiting, panting beneath him. "Can't figure it out?"

     He looked at you, in the same way he gets when he’s piecing himself together during a match. It happens when you don’t let him in and he can't get what he wants.

     This is where everything changes. You finally got to the little monster inside of him.

     “don’t push, brat” he breathes, his voice low and daring. It enough to make you squeeze your thighs together again, trying to relieve the frustration. But your own selfishness leads to your loss as it was all that was needed for Yoichi to figure it out.

     "Oh" he smirks against your lips, trailing wet kisses down your neck, mimicking your earlier actions on him. "I get it."

     Your breath hitches once he gets to the sensitive part of your collarbone, his lips sucking on the skin that would leave pretty little purple marks in the morning.

     "You want me when I'm mean, isn't that right, princess?" He finishes off by biting the skin there. You yelp, looking down to see your skin between his teeth.

     You don't say anything, knowing it that it would annoy him more.

     "Answer me." He growled against your skin. “you know how this usually ends for you.”

     You don't care, you want the consequences. You instead giggle, watching Yoichi go crazy from the way your treating him. But, he loves a game. He knows he'll make you give in, he just has to devour you at your own game. Tease you back.

     He has you trapped underneath him, pressing his knee in-between your legs ever so slightly, putting the smallest amount of pressure. You let out a slight noise and it was music to Yoichi's ears. He wanted more, give him more.

     His kisses go down from your neck to your chest, lifting your shirt up to lazily lick the area around your breasts. He was marking you like crazy too, hickeys forming everywhere his lips have touched.

He didn't mind reading in between the lines for you, but God did he love it when you told him what you wanted directly.

     "Okay, I'll tell you next time." You breathed, leaning into his embrace, both your skins sticky with sweat.

     "Next time..." He blushed, thinking about it. No, seriously, how was this the same guy? Was he actually growing flustered thinking about it right after he just fucked you dumb?

     "Yes, next time, ichi." You smiled, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. It was a vanilla-ish contrast to the events of today.

     "I love you so much." He whispered, adoring the way you doted on him.

     "I love you more."

     "But don't tease me like that again, next time I won't be so nice." He growled, and you swear you almost died on the spot.

     "That just makes me more inclined to." You laugh, looking up into his cerulean eyes that glowed with a green fire.

     "What am I going to do with you?" He shakes his head, fingers climbing up your ribs.

     "I have some ideas..." You propose. Today was going to be a long day. And you had no interruptions to stop you.

Nightmare is always seen writing. He is always perfect and in pristine control. Nothing seems to ever come out of it, as despite him going through stacks and stacks of paper, bottles of ink, and many, many quills. (He refuses to write with a pen.)

What is he writing? Apologies to dream. Raging anger and annoyances. His emotions. All of them, catolouged in neat lines.

Where do the papers go? Tinder. For fires.

I wonder what would happen if one of his subordinates found one of these papers?

It's certainly an interesting idea! That writing letters would be an emotional out for him.

These letters have a large range in terms of conscious thought, from quietly written declarations of future plans of attack to rage-filled cursive fueled by the failure of another mission gone awry. 

In those moments of rage where rational thought flies through the window, Nightmare releases all his accusations and hatred for his brother. A deep need for vengeance of ruining is well constructed plans before seeping into something more personal and ingrained in Nightmare's being. Accusations of all of Dreams wrongdoings, his neglect of him as a brother and his bias towards the villagers. 

'My life would have been better without you', ' My life would have been better if you weren't my brother'. 

Behind that deep need for vengeance lay sorrow, especially on those days where Nightmare would notice just a split second of hesitation from Dream, and narrowly missing an arrow. Written pages upon pages, some notes being directly to Dream, bargaining, some even pleading. Days like that spilled the voice from the back of his mind, providing hopes and dreams of things impossible.

'He still loves us', 'We were both just children'..

'He Can Forgive Us'

Yet the darkness in the back of his head spoke just as loud, if not more so.

"Not After You Killed Mother"

And off the letter went to the fire.

Though the letters usually came and went not long after being written, there were times where Nightmare simply did not have the time nor the patience to set the fire and so some letters were granted time before they would once again return to ash.

On a day where Nightmare had other worldly errands to do, the trio was assigned some minor tasks to accomplish while their leader was away. Mainly diplomatic in nature the three required Nightmare's handy dandy notes on their ever growing array of worlds that was in agreement with them. 

With a lousy yet firm kick to Nightmare's office Killer yelled out to the others.

"Yeah, yeah! I hear ya. Just give me a goddamn second to get these stupid fuckin papers. Lord knows I don't wanna another Au get pissy with us for forgetting whatever the hell we agreed upon last time."

The skeleton started rummaging through drawers, searching half-haphazardly for the info. Before he stumbled upon a usually empty drawer with a small neat stack of handwritten papers. 

"Jackpot." Killer grinned.

His eyes skimmed the first page for him to be certain of the contents.

'The day you die will be the first day I feel genuine joy in the past 500 years.'

Definitely not AU trading information, but information on the boss, and clearly this was something personal. Killer instinctively knew he shouldn't read further, rules had never stopped him and they certainly wouldn't now. Additionally, learning something new about the boss was rare, and any information usually gained wasn't anything important and could just be deduced by living in his manor. But feelings, personal, true, handwritten feelings, now that was something juicy. Say curiosity killed the cat but Killer's self-preservation instinct had never been his greatest quality.

Onward went Killer's eyes drifting through pages upon pages of letters, most written in Nightmare's prim and proper handwriting.

'You've ruined me', ' You've forsaken me for the last time', 'Why did things have to change?', 'Can't things go back to how they used to be?'

'I'm Sorry.'

Killer's fingers flicked through the pages, a knowing grin widening on his face.

What do y'know, the boss has feelings too.

Each one of their group had their fair own share of regrets, things they wished they could have changed. Reminiscing caused its own fair share of realizations, the idea that Nightmare had his own regrets brought...a sort of comfort, a warm relief. The letters certainly kicked Nightmare down a peg, but at the same time brought everyone down to the same level. The same level of failure and uncertainty.

Killer neatly organized the letters and placed them back into the drawer, lest he be found out for snooping, even if it was accidentally. He rummaged through Nightmare's main desk and found the needed documents. With quick steps towards the exit, Killer gently closed the door. 

All of them had their own fair share of goods, however unlike the rest of them Nightmare's regrets could be possibly mended. Many regrets can never be taken back, so if Nightmare made the choice to do so, Killer won't hesitate to assist him on his conquest.

—Meet the Cast!—

(Part Two: The Stan Twins)

Stan:

Stan has spent the majority of his life as an actor. Ever since he was young, he auditioned for parts in plays; giving him an early start to his career. His lengthy experience has allowed him to perfect the art, becoming a professional of the finest quality. He would have never ended up at this point, however, if not for his passion for performing.

"I'd have to say I love the thrill of it. Always have. Putting on a persona and just fallin' back into the character. I dunno too much about the mental implications — that's more of Ford's thing, ya see: nerd stuff — but maybe the fact that it makes me feel in control of the situation is why. And, yeah, I know that it's 'you' not 'ya,' or whatever. I get enough of that at home from you-know-who," he explained upon questioning.

He was requested specifically to play the role of "Stanley Pines" by the creators, Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. They claimed that they thought no one would be able to bring the character to life as well as him. After all, it was a difficult balance of "greedy conman," "grumpy old man," and "secret softie" that had to be done perfectly in order to accurately reflect the vision. A feat they believed only Stan was capable of achieving. Ultimately, they were right: Causing Stanley Pines to become a character loved by the public all because of Stan's acting.

In his free time, he tends to attend casinos for the cause of gambling. He'll walk in with a small amount of cash in his pockets (moderated by Ford to ensure that his twin doesn't accidentally drive himself broke) and come out with bags overflowing with money. He claims to be an extremely lucky person with natural talent and good instincts when it comes to the activity. He has been accused of cheating by many, but his good heart and reputation is enough to challenge and disarm such slander. (Plus, Ford comes to his brother's defense in a way so aggressively protective that some of them back off immediately out of fear.)

Despite his tough outside and gruff voice, he's a kind person who cares a lot about those around him. He's started multiple charities with the money he's won from casinos and gained over the years in an attempt to help those in need. He implores others to step up and do the same, since every donation and act to make the world better makes a difference.

He lives with his twin brother, Ford, and the two of them spend much quality time together. Some people are suprised that they still stay so close at their age, but they just reply that they're like fictional counterparts and wouldn't have it any other way.

Ford:

Ford is a well-established scientist whose scientific endeavors, while usually being a bit more unorthodox, have paved the way for several accomplishments. He strives for the betterment for society and believes that in order to make discoveries, you need to realize and accept the truth surrounding you. Recently, he's also developed some fame for his first ever acting role of playing "Stanford Pines" from the adored series, "Gravity Falls." The story of how he came to receiving that role is one of humorous coincidences.

"It really was just a huge struck of unbelievable luck — though it was because of Stan, so maybe it isn't that out-of-left-field. The beginning of the story, so I was told, was this: Stan was talking to the writers about upcoming episodes and they revealed to him that they were going to green screen him as double for the rest of the series for the long-lost twin brother, Stanford. Stan was asking about the appearance — what does the twin look like, are there any specific details he should know in advance for when it came to dressing for the scene shoot — so then they mentioned, 'Oh! Well, he has polydactyly, so we'll have to find some way to add an extra pair of fingers on.'" Of course, Stan immediately thought of me and told the crew about having a twin brother who just so happened to have six fingers. They were delighted by this information and offered me the role as a result.

"I didn't know what to think at first. Acting wasn't my forte and I didn't have much experience; not to say that I had none, for there were a few times where I covered for Stan when he had to drop-out last minute. Regardless, I still wasn't very skilled in that particular field of expertise. I wasn't that confident in my ability and felt that my acting would only hinder the quality of the show. That should've been the end of it.

"...

"Yet, it wasn't because Stan is nothing but stubborn, and I can't help loving him for it. He sat down next to me and gave me an encouraging talk. He said that I'm much better than I think I am and this would be a chance to prove those words to be true. He then...he then told me that he would love to be able to work with me on set, and that accepting the role would save the CGI crew some time. At that point, I couldn't refuse, so I was welcomed as the actor of 'Stanford Pines'. And I have to say, I don't regret that decision," the scientist reminisced during a behind-the-scenes interview.

Ford is usually quiet unless a topic of his interest is brought up or he's speaking to a person he enjoys conversating with. He's extremely fond of academics and has been found to help the younger actors with any educational assistance they require; whether that be a math problem they don't understand or an in-depth lesson on theme.

Now, this part is purely theorizing, but many people suspect that he has some kind of past relation to popular actor, William (actor of "Bill Cipher"). Despite the two claiming to not be familiar with the other, they seem to avoid each other specifically out of all of the cast members — even on their supposed 'first day' of meeting! William is more subtle, suddenly being reminded of things and gaining convenient excuses to leave the room. Ford, meanwhile, just slips away once the yellow triangle comes near. However, please remember that this is pure suspicion and not anything valid, so do with this information as you please.

Thoughts and opinion on Switch 2

Before I start, do know I really like tech and generally, I like interesting implemtations of it, so I do have a bias towards handheld consoles in general because they have much more interesting limitations to start with. I'll get all my thoughts, up and down, on the switch 2.

I know the bigger screen does mean more internal area to work with, but how the hell did they manage to keep the thickness nearly identical to the switch 1? Actually impressive, I desperately want to see inside if it is all just because of smaller chip size.

Ok, so where do I properly begin excluding the shock that they pulled off the same thickness? Oh, the screen!

This screen is just a welcome addition overall. 1080p, better brightness and better panel tech that allows for HDR (Microsoft fix your god damn hdr implementation even nintendo has it) while being 120hz and VRR (Nvidia confirmed that it's using their implementation of g-sync via a blog post, here: https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/nintendo-switch-2-leveled-up-with-nvidia-ai-powered-dlss-and-4k-gaming/). It now matches and slightly exceeds a lot of displays on handhelds now, which funnily enough makes puts it in a similar position as the og switch screen back in 2017, but at least the baseline is much higher so I think this will make the eventual OLED either be more meh, or more better in comparison. It may be closer to the meh side, at least with the first impressions I'm seeing on youtube and seen through my 2013 gaming monitor with clear faded pixels which is it's own issue if I do end up deciding to get a switch 2. Still +$100 I'm calling it. However, the fact it's 120hz natively means that you can now run games at 40fps without screen tearing because it's a clean divisable number of 120, with it looking noticably better then 30fps but not as draining as 60fps or above, which is going to help with more title's battery life. Speaking of Nvidia, let's talk a bit about that blog post.

I do not know how much people like this or not (See recent RTX 40xx and 50xx launches to see how happy people are with Nvidia), but I think they are very much the ideal partners in crime with Nintendo this time around. As long as the Tensor hardware is power efficient enough as they claim, this will just be a boon for handheld gaming times, even if they're stuck at the same 2-6.5 hours as the launch model og switch. It also means it can be updated with time to improve games potentially, so if developers decide to take advantage of it and nvidia/nintendo makes it easy to just update the codebase of a game to get to a never version, we may actually have a case of games becoming more performant and/or better looking with time, assuming they are not running at native 4k already. That's neglecting the processing offloading for stuff like that goofy camera, microphone quality and other stuff

(seriously, if you got a recent enough Nvidia GPU try the Nvidia Broadcast app, it's does basically all the audio/video stuff nintendo showed recently, but now with a focused platform I think this is going to become excellent)

oh ya, it is odd that the stream from friend's framerate is like 12 fps, best guess there is because it uses the on board video encoder and decoded to handle it, and if each is a seperate channel, along with one for background recording/screenshots, plus whatever the games may need for their own dedicated use, I am not too surprised it got the cut on such a slim package. Suck though.

That leads into the dock.

I think the dock is fine. Does the job, has USB ports on the side to connect controllers and charge them (USB 2 tho, so I guess the camera attachement had to go to the top USB C port CORRECTION, I just saw MKBHD's recent switch 2 impression video, it can actually be attached elsewhere maybe. That's interesting, Photo attached below). I think it's as inoffensive as the Switch Oled dock, which does all it needed to do too plus ethernet. It's fine.

I guess while I'm here, let's touch upon the Microsd Express card slot.

Let me preface this by saying, I knew that the standard was compatible with SD cards of prior so I found it odd they didn't make it clear if it could be used to at least get video/screenshots off, but they did!

Talking about the microSD express cards themselves, I may be in the minority here, but I am very very happy to see this get adopted. For those who are not in the know, it's basically much faster flash (that can be made for slightly more then an normal SD card) that runs off of the reader's PCIe Gen 4, allowing up to 2gb/s of read/write. Which is Crazy, and if they're mandating it to be required for games, that means the current 800mb/s read ones on the market right now is what the console will be using and games will finally load up so much faster. And, unlike the original SD cards, higher capacities like a terabyte already exist AND are not insanely more expensive over base sd cards.(I mean $20-25 for 256gb sd cards to $60 for same but microsd express is still a jump, but do you guys remember how fucking much 256gb sd cards costed originally? It was like $150, and I think 256gb storage will get further milage then the original 32gb storage the og switch had. And 1tb already cost $200 for when it comes out with the switch 2. Those prices will drop unless, uh... not within the scope of what I want to talk about)

Since we're on storage, 256gb of UFS storage? Like on phones, that can go multiple gigabytes per second read/write? Hell ya, we bout to get load times not much worse then other modern consoles.

Let's touch upon the joycons now.

I like them, but as more in a sense of improvment over og switch joycons. Which, honestly, that's all they needed to do. The standout weird feature is the mouse on both, but I only see this as a plus. I want more of my PC games on portable systems, and as much as I want the steamdeck too, the switch form factor is still more portable. Just... please let the bigger joysticks be actually good and resistant to stick drift, I do not want to open them up just to replace the sticks with hall effect ones again. As a plus, I can't wait to see what insanity warioware is going to become now.

Surprised it took them 2 decades to finally do it, but they seem to have a lot of restraint there still, with extensive parent controls to help metigate any issues, so I'll only give them slightly less shit. Slightly. I'm going to call it though, there is going to be controversy about what eventually will occur over the gamechat. Can't wait!

Switch online services

I mean, it was inevitable. This, with the Wii games that's almost absolutely coming later, is going to be good. I suspect a pricebump is going to occur with the NSO that's going to make it cost almost a full game per year, but at least the retro selection is going to start going from crazy to insane, making it probably worth it. I just hope that the voucher program (shown below) gets expanded to more third parties, because as much as I like nintendo games for $50 a piece with this program, it needs to be way more expansive to make the $20 cost at this time to be online, let alone get the 2 vouchers for $100, worth it. If they do that, and keep on adding new actually fun (looking at you Zelda Notes... what the fuck are you) and nice to have to the service, I think it could become worth it in the near future.

I ALMOST FORGOT ONLINE DOWNLOAD PLAY, seriously that alone may be worth it because with both local and online, it means you do not have to force your friends to buy games they may otherwise never touch outside of playing with you. This is straight up a good, pro-consumer thing if others don't ignore it 24/7. I just hope the streaming quality will not be dogshit ahhaha....

(Shout out to nintendo actuallly using this a part to prevent scalpers, I don't like it much because I didn't pay for NSO on the og switch but at least this is a verifiable way to prevent scalpers. I just wish acconts from the Wii U/3ds era got special treatment :^) )

Since we're getting more into software, shout out to how sad the UI is still.

Nintendo, the literal bare minimun here is not just black and white customizable themes. You haven't done that for a generation. I would have much rather had the UI present from the DSi/Wii to Wii U/3ds era then this bland nothing soup. God. Now, onto the most devicive one, and the one that makes or breaks it for me. The games, and their prices.

Let's get a few things clear, the $90 physical switch 2 game thing (which I had fallen for too) is in europe. If you're a suffering US citizen, the price is $80 for what seems to be big, high budget nintendo games, with everything else being $70, at least from the list of prices I've seen online.

About Game key cards, ya it's just the 'download play' games on the switch, but instead of a piece of paper that's one time, it's a re-usable cartridge that allows multiple downloads on other switches and acts like a physical one otherwise. This, in my opinion, is objectively better, and is not the default option. Other games will be on the Cartidge like og switch, see Cyberpunk 2077 on a 64gb one (seriously how the fuck they did that).

This switch 2 edition is on a case by case basis, so if it is just an fps/resolution bump, it is likely to be free. If it has a bit more, like some added extras and they know people would pay for the fps/resolution, see botw and totk will be $10, and if the content has basically DLC + all of the above, it's $20. Also, lol at welcome tour.

Seeing all of that, I'm iffy. I'm worried that the panic and reactions from everyone will lock the prices for everyone else at $80 since the publishers will take any chance to push prices up further, but if $70 stays I would reluctantly accept it. Unlike some people on the other platforms may say, in the past before $60 standardization, we had other options to play games like with rental stores, actually being around friends, and frequent discounts and bundles to get inventory moving. That does mean nowadays, especially with no sale nintendo, this price is here to stay, and if this is the cost to actually keep games good and not need astronomical sales to make back development costs, so be it. I am just not happy knowing that a lot of publishers will be using machine created/generated stuff each year for that price or $80 and expect no issues with it. The only thing I am very curious about is the capabilities of the switch 2 being somewhere between a PS4 and PS5, but able to handle PS5 ports, potentially making it the best way to play a lot of newer games on the go until valve decides in 2030 to make the steam deck 2.

Now everyone's favorite issues, price. I think it's reasonable, sucks a bit but reasonable. We're now dealing in a world where Nvidia has their focus on AI stuff, and knows that Nintendo wants backward compat + better stuff, so Nvidia likely is changing way more on parts. This world also includes inflation (seriously, $300 in 2017 is now closer to $400, and now there's all the extra nicer stuff slapped on top to justify a next gen). This world also includes ungodly uncertienty because of a a group in the wrong place in the wrong time. Considering all of this, honestly, $450 is fine. It sucks, I know it has pushed a few friends out from buying it w/o someone assisting them in the purchase, but it's fine. It's going to be a great refinement, which is all a sequel console had to be. The thing you have to know, nintendo is doing the thing again with previous controllers being compatible with the current system, so in reality (especially with me and my hall-effect modded controllers) the price to play with others will not be much more. I touched upon this already, but the game prices are iffy for me, and it's absolutely going to prevent me from buying as many games as I had for the og switch, but it's an dampener.

I will need more time to simmer (and see how my finacial situation is going to be), but I am currently leaning to I will try to get it. I'm on the fence, and I have a good chance of flipping to waiting later, or just not getting.

I may add more thoughts as I think them and remember I can use tumblr like this, but I think this is everything I wanted to get out that has been simmering in my head for a bit. Oh ya I almost forgot the most important thing, Homebrew. I love homebrew, it has given me extra life and enjoyment out of my og switch. If there is another launch edition vuln that allows homebrew, I want in.

Ok so it’s technically not new it’s been a concept that is as old as my Meet in Our Dreams AU it’s just this AU, like my MiOD AU has undergone a big rewrite/revise so it’s new in the sense of being introduced. Plus at the time this Yuu was a different gender. So again big rewrite.

More stuff under the cut ig

Some things I forgot to mention is that

1) it’s unknown in this au if Yukina is actually magicless as when the whole thing of sorting happened instead of the dark mirror saying that Yuu doesn’t fit anywhere it just stays silent. Most assume they don’t have magic tho.

2) Yukina sees Leona like their father because the two are a lot alike in terms of dealing with their depression. Aka they nap a lot to escape reality. Due to this fact Yukina has accidentally called Leona dad a one point and treats Leona the same way she treats her father except slightly less respectfully/restrained.

3) Yukina sees Idia as a kindred spirit because they also tried to create a robot version of their mother (aka a loved one) after she passed away when they were young. Only reason it didn’t work out is because their father committed but lived and they decided instead of focusing on the dead parent they would focus on the living one. (After the commit and seeing how distressed and desperate his daughter was Yukina’s father never committed again because he saw that Yukina needed him just as much as he needed her.)

4) Yukina’s bionic arm can be charged with her phone charger, which she always carries on her. It does have to come off to be charged as the charging port is where the bionic connects to her stub. The battery lasts the whole day so she only has to recharge it when she is asleep.

5) Yukina can’t work well with people in a lab so she can’t have any lab partners. She is incredibly controlling about her space and environment in the lab. This is another reason why Grim isn’t allowed in the lab in Ramshackle.

6) when conducting experiments with the overblot crystals she uses the overbloters’ blood which she got either with permission (Riddle, Vil, Idia, and Malleus) or by sneaking into their rooms when they are asleep (Leona, Azul, and Jamil).

7) as you can probably guess from the last one, Yukina is unhinged af. She’s willing to do a lot of creepy/scary/unhinged/crazy/insane things for her work. (The tweels find her interesting because of this fact. Jade had seen her take a blood sample from Azul but never said anything about it. Also Ace and Deuce are a bit creeped out by her but they still stick around because they do believe she is their friend + they care about her.)

8) her hair was longer before due to her and her father’s work and depressions keeping them from cutting it.

9) her age is unknown as well as she doesn’t like taking about how old she is (cause she doesn’t want to think about how long she has gone without her mom) and nobody ever asks. If they do ask she just stares at them before saying “ya know it’s rude to ask a lady her age.” And walking away. She then ignores that person for a while until they grovel.

10) she’s tall. About 5’ 11” to 6’0” in cm she is 182 in between Trey and Vil/Idia’s heights.

11) she is Japanese she’s just albino. Otherwise she’d have black hair and black eyes.

12) she used to dye her hair a bunch (because her mom liked her natural hair but she didn’t want to think of it) but when she came to Twisted Wonderland Grim burned the part that was dyed and she had to cut it. She has yet to redye it. She doesn’t know if she will ever again…

13) idk if she will get shipped with anyone. I have no clue who would fit with her and her personality tbh. If you wanna suggest who to pair her with go right ahead.

14) also forgot to say that Ortho also knows that she has a bionic arm but doesn’t talk about it. Idia has his suspicions but doesn’t raid Ortho’s mind or anything so he doesn’t actually know.

Some things about Yukina’s lab:

1) it has a bed in there so she can nap if needed.

2) there is a snack drawer and mini fridge cause she sometimes gets so absorbed or obsessed with her work that she doesn’t/can’t eat proper meals.

3) she built it herself from old furniture and old appliances. Took anything she could use to make it.

4) It was the first ever thing in Ramshackle that was put together/safe/clean/usable for the longest time.

now you get characters botched, bastardized, and secretly killed and replaced by those with the same names, and they can't even muster the sense to care. because someone laughed at a character being drawn at the wrong height, or another had a good reaction from people that didn't know the character as they thought they were writing their big magnum opus blockbuster for them

and i don't expect perfection, or the good old days to be possible to back to because they're the old days for a reason

but theirs's still the possibility and ability to go back and figure out the lost art of product control, and ravenous quality that can seep into people's spirits and give them a passion to constantly go back to issue after issue, giving your damn funky company a proper profit that means anything

and i've yet to see things get better when i read some classics and became aware at what was, and what could be

nonsense that people with enough passion to get their asses in gear to get the job and the assignments, with plenty of talents, especially the artists, my goodness regardless if they can remember what characters like tim or damian, and sometimes even easy to remember ass jason todd look like, they still have impressive skill, ability, and talent, that far surpases what the majority of the population on the whole planet can do

so it's not that they can't do it

it's that they don't try

often they try the opposite for quick cheap rewards, in the form of twitter stan brownie points "LOOK THEY HUGGED" "LOOK THEY'RE CRYING" "LOOK HE'S SO SHORT" regardless if that's thhe character, it makes sense, the story needs it, or it'll be remembered in years to come

What if the Obey Me! characters had an in-game store

i was playing 'Animal Crossing' and you know how every week a special villager comes and sells something on your island? So, I had a thought, what if there was something similar in 'Obey Me!' where each character had a store and appear randomly once a month to sell stuff.

I imagine an app on the home screen where players could buy special items at a lower price, the character that is selling would appear on one side of the screen with the other side having the items for sale (Something like the ending screen after an 'Akuber order')

something like this, but obviously instead of the rewards, it will have items the player can buy. the boy/girl running the store that day will make comments depending on your actions (if you take too long to choose, buying many items, buying none, etc).

for every character the items sold will be different;

Lucifer: Each time Lucifer appears he will sell one sin type of Devil Tree items, (eg. greed controller, greed megaphone, greed cellphone)

I've been working on myself quite a bit lately and part of that is managing my disabilities. Hi! Quick question, since you're my go-to Zelda resource now (sorry!): I had some serious trouble with OoT when I played it on an emulator, and the only other Zelda games I've played are BotW and TotK; what game would you recommend I start with to kind of ease into playing older, more challenging games? I hear the Oracle games are supposed to be amazing, and there are the remakes of Link's Awakening and SS, but I don't know what to start with. As much as I love Ocarina of Time personally, the controls definitely have not aged the best. In my opinion, the best way to play OoT is the 3DS Remake, which made some great updates to the controls and telegraphing for certain puzzles where the hints were a bit obtuse.

I would say that's pretty true when it comes to most of the zelda games with remakes. Wind Waker HD and Skyward Sword HD make tremendous quality of life improvements to their respective games!

As for what, I would recommend next, it would probably depend on what you're looking for most with your next Zelda game. I suggest either Wind Waker, Skyward Sword, or A Link to the Past.

If you like the openes of BotW and TotK, try Wind Waker. Like BotW, it takes place in Hyrule generations after disaster has befallen the land. After a certain point, the map completely opens up, and you get to spend hours exploring the open sea and the countless islands that dot it. Recommend the HD version over the original for the Swift Sail alone.

If you want the least frustrating experience possible, I would recommend Skyward Sword. No "old school Zelda toughness" here. Not to knock SS though, I think it has the tightest story of any zelda game! SS is also the first game in the official timeline, so it might make sense to start there. I think the combat and gameplay are super fun. Be warned it is also the most linear Zelda game of all time (besides the ones with literal levels). Again, I recommend the HD version over the original for its quality of life improvements (be careful if you play the original disc version on Wii as there's a way to play that will break the game and I don't think you can download the patch anymore, any digital version should be fine).

If you are thinking about getting into top-down zelda games, I would recommend A Link to the Past. It is probably harder than most of the other top-down ones, but all the other ones are really just taking its formula and twisting. Link's Awakening and A Link Between Worlds are both sequels to ALttP, and the oracle games and The Minish Cap are not as grand in scope. I think if you play ALttP first, it will also help you appreciate how the others are innovating. The graphics are solid, the world is huge, and while not the greatest, the story more than gets the job done. Yes, it does have some "old school zelda toughness," it's certainly not the hardest (looking at you LoZ and AoL), and I think it's not unreasonable.

All this said, every game is designed to be a "jumping in" point, so there's not really a wrong answer. If I had to pick one, though, it would be it would be ALttP as I think it's just a really solid game and makes a great base to then play LA, ALBW, OOA/OOS, and TMC.
