It is inherently fun and sexy to say statements that swap the traditional genders of pronouns and terms mid-statement, such as: "I'm going to make him my wife" "She's my boyfriend" "Who says a guy can't be a pretty princess?" "That girl's the coolest dude I've ever met" "She's a madman who has to be stopped" "It's not his fault he's a material girl" Gender is a set of watercolors and the prettiest shades come from mixing the paints together.

BNO News on Twitter: "South Korea's fertility rate, already the lowest in the world, dropped by another 8 percent in 2023.
New data shows the fertility rate dropped to 0.72, far below the 2.1 needed to maintain the population."
I made a post a while ago about the 4B movement in South Korea and how and why it pertains to the liberation and freedoms of Korean women. The tiktok video I shared a while ago gives background and context to Korean Feminism and current struggles that Korean women still face in their country. If you have the time to look at this as well, I highly recommend watching this video:
I am always in solidarity with Korean women, and I truly hope for real, systemic changes soon. Korean women deserve to always feel safe and protected -to always have the same access to opportunities and more.

Shout out to gnc genderfluid people
To genderfluid people who present very masculine when they're a girl
To genderfluid people who present very feminine when they're a guy
To genderfluid people who don't present androgynous when their gender isn't aligned
To genderfluid people whose gender is partially static too, so they present as what is gnc for that gender
To genderfluid people whose gender is heavily fluid so what's gnc for their gender changes regularly
Just. Shout out to gnc genderfluid people of all kinds

can we just. stop acting like being a caretaker and a nurturing person is just a “mom” thing. please?
like… dads can be just as (if not more) caring and loving. any parent can be like that. it’s not gendered.
and if you tell me “oh but i’m saying [character] is motherly because-” stop it.
because what? those are the characteristics you associate with maternal figures? because of the gender roles and stereotypes ingrained into our heads since childhood?
idk it just makes me uncomfortable when people call parental non-female characters “motherly” or stuff along those lines
might be because my dad is more nurturing and supportive than my mom but i dunno
anyway my point is basically: just fucking say parental instead of motherly. it’s so easy. any parent can have those traits regardless of gender

Raph: Mikey, why are there women's dresses and accessories in your room!?
Mikey: Because fuck gender roles, bitches!
Leo: *gasps in mom*
(In my opinion, Mikey wearing women's clothing is the best. He would be a great candidate for RuPaul's Drag Race.)

New euphoria feeling unlocked on testosterone was the point at which i reached the Gender Fuckery phase ♥️ i started looking masculine enough for myself that doing fem stuff was fun and not dysphoric. My biggest idols are david bowie and kurt cobain with their gender expression, and i am so happy with myself now that i can enjoy fem clothes 😭♥️. I love expressing masculinity, i love being gruff and sandpapery, and i love putting femenine clothes on and makeup and still looking masculine but like garnished with femme touches✨️ i love gender, 115/10

How I process my gender:
Me trying to prove to myself that I’m not a “girl” bc I like Legos and that’s a “boyish” thing, but then finding out the reason I like Legos is bc I get giddy with miniature versions of anything and that’s usually more associated with girls, and then finally concluding that my gender isn’t associated to what society attaches gender to and I can like mini things and legos and be nonbinary and it doesn’t matter and anyway gender is just a social construct and it doesn’t even exist so I can just like what I like and my gender doesn’t even matter. The end.
(And as a side note: protect trans kids 🏳️‍⚧️)

It's mildly annoying how people seem to have such a tricky time comprehending that I'm multiple genders at once and that my pronouns and gender don't necessarily "align", but it's also kinda funny to confuse em

Okay, I rewatched Nimona for the "I've lost count" time, and noticed some things.
First of all, when Nimona transforms into Balister. They make the streak in his hair pink. I repeat: NIMONA MADE THE STREAK IN HIS HAIR PINK!
One of the things that I'm obsessed with about Nimona is the shear amount of pink because I've always felt like pink, especially hot pink, was an integral part of who I am in a way, but had to get over not feeling like I should embrace that when I went through the phase of thinking that it mattered when people assumed that liking pink makes me "girly". Which it doesn't. Assigning genders to shit like that is stupid.
But back to the point, I wonder if that ever made Ballister consider dying the streak in his hair. Not necessarily pink, though. I mean, I can totally see him choosing pink because of Nimona, but what if he'd want to choose his own color. Whatever color felt like him. Because I think Nimona would inspire him (and Ambrosius?) to find the things that felt like them as individuals.
[Holy shit, what if there would be an adjustment period, where people started worshipping Nimona the way they worshipped Gloreth, especially if it got out that Nimona had personal history with actual Gloreth? Oh, I can taste the angst already!]
Really, all I'm asking is, what is Ballister's favorite color?
For some reason, I'm thinking dark blue?

To the person who sent this in my anons because you're a misogynistic and queerphobic coward, I would like to clarify here that there is ZERO evidence to suggest that what this person is spouting here is true. By saying feminism is toxic/is ruining women, all you're doing is admitting your own insecurities and superficiality. Because we can talk about and be critical of white feminism and the lack of inclusivity/transphobia in feminist spaces/etc, but this isn't what this guy is doing. He's spewing manosphere bullshit meant to radicalize men online because they want to continually see women as objects, not subjects.
Now, let's address the initial point he makes/alludes to about single women -by saying children of these single parents are suffering the most. For his and anyone's information -women are statistically the happiest on the planet when they are not married and child free in the first place, but when they do have children and they divorce their spouse they usually end up taking the brunt of the care (as they probably were in the first place) and although this can pose many challenges for their family depending on their socioeconomic background, that doesn't mean the kids will be more unhappy, unstable, and unsafe compared to children whose parents are married (and in any of those cases, there should be MORE resources for single parents instead of shaming them).
Many feminist and women's movements also made it possible for women to be liberated from heteropatriarchal ideals/standards/constraints that insisted they could only be happy if they got married and had children -and also, have the rights to access divorce in otherwise situations that made it impossible for her to leave abusive and unhealthy relationships (and divorce should be more widely de-stigmatized, accessible, and affordable). I know this varies cross-culturally, but a human being making decisions about THEIR lives -when it comes to marriage and having children -is what should always matter most.
Also the claim that queer families are reported to be more 'damaging,' is absolute bullshit.
This is the initial video sent to me and the following will be a few articles to debunk and challenge this propaganda he's making:

Bnha/rottmnt crossover
Because they’ve been sharing my hyperfixation and I’ve enjoyed figuring out how that’d work. They’re also my first two risetober pieces; a thing that I totally remembered was happening /hj
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, I don’t have a lot of concrete ideas for this au, just that I know it’s after the rise movie and some point after Eri’s rescue. I know Splinter decides to take his kids to Japan (this definitely includes April and Casey Jones Jr) so they can reconnect with their ancestral home.
While there shit goes down and they’re trapped on the same island UA is. Everyone goes onto the campus for safety (so I’m apparently going for after the first war arc Manga era) Splinter was an alumni (only barely recognizable from how much he’s changed) (Lou Jitsu looked a lot like 2012 splinter); he introduces his family to nezu who is more than happy to let them dorm and practice with 2-A, and gets them in touch with the on campus therapists.
Backstory:
Essentially it’s the same except the Yōkai are not in hiding and Splinter was actually with Draxum for 2 years while he made their sons. Of course Lou thought it was gonna be more like artificial insemination and natural shit, and less like mad scientist. Draxum made the boys to be weapons since he knew Lou was still on the run from Big Mama. And he just really wanted to do a bunch of genetic research with quirks and ancient yokai blood and shit. When Lou found out the boys were made with the soul purpose of being weapons (even with good intentions) he got pissed and after Mikey was fully formed, he took the boys and left. So him and Draxum are (almost) literally divorced dads.
They still grow up in the sewers cuz big mama ruled the surface and would chain splinter and the boys the instant she found them and use them for what they were made for: weapons.
Everything else is mostly the same, except when Leo takes Splinter to Big Mama. Cuz Splints has a panic attack as soon as he found out where they were going. Leo helped him calm down and explain; and then Leo fills Splinter in on what his plan is. It’s vague but that’s cuz they didn’t have specific details of the battle nexus and shit. Splinter disassociates whenever he’s in the room with big mama.
I don’t know about April and Casey’s quirks or anything yet, but I do know that ninpo is still very much a thing. But they register their ninpo as their quirk, along with the family quirk: Turtle Power!
Y’all if you have any ideas for this au or wanna show off your own my hero versions of the turtles feel free to @ me!
