Another author getting inappropriate messages with anons calling them a tease. Telling them they obviously wanted it. That they get off on people sexualizing them.

This is sounding dangerously close to words said to victims of sexual assault. Very close it’s actually scary. Statistical the majority of women are either sexually harassed or assaulted within their lifetime.

This is going too far and honestly as a woman myself it’s very sad that we can’t escape this. Not even here.

By the way if you victim blame because you’ve developed a parasocial relationship, you’re plain trash. Obviously you’re a shit person who acts horribly in real life and so that’s why you think authors belong to you because no one in the real world wants to be around you.

It’s really disheartening guys… three days in a row this has happened.

I recently got an on-campus job. During the interview process, I requested that I not be scheduled on Friday nights or Saturdays as I am a Jewish student.

My boss immeadiately brightened and rushed to explain - "Of course ! Of course! We want to accomodate you! We have another worker who takes off for Ramadan. Do you need to take off for Ramadan?"

I shook my head, incredibly confused. "Uh. That's. Not my jurisdiction. I'm good." Boss nodded but was sure to add "Let me know if that ever changes. We can help you with Ramadan."
