Martha, Alfred, Bruce and Clark, and John sitting in the kitchen and trying to have a peaceful conversation, when inhuman screeching from upstairs is followed by a stampede of footsteps, before Dick races down into the kitchen, running frantically, empty water gun in hand. 

"What is going on?" Bruce barks, with absolutely zero effect because Jason is there a second later and tackles him through the net door on the patio. 

Martha's utterly charmed watching Bruce drop the exceedingly polite guest act as he scrambled out to the cold patio to scold the gremlins.

Clark shook his head, as the drill sergeant Batman voice filtered into the house.

Both boys are grinning when they enter, still bickering, utterly unabashed. But they do apologize to Martha and John about the door.

"I'm very sorry about that. I will pay for the door." Bruce says, dropping back into his seat.

"You raised a good one, Alfred," Martha said, patting the butler's hand.

Clark grinned and Bruce frowned, confused.

Life on the Farm pt2

Im trying not to make my posts TOO long so here’s pt 2

Danny has been on the Kent farm for about a month now and things are going great, he spends his days helping Jonathan with the chores and his night cooking dinner with Martha. He’s bulked up quite a bit, to the point that his old classmates wouldn’t recognize him as tiny Danny Fenton. Every now and again he rides into town with Jonathan to get supplies for the farm.

On this day they are driving into town talking about what Martha is planning for dinner. Neither of them noticed the truck until it was too late. The driver had fallen asleep at the wheel and he didn’t stop at the intersection.

Danny sees the truck at the very last second, turning himself, Jonathan, and the truck intangible. Jonathan looks on is shock as the eighteen wheeler passes THROUGH them. Danny is panicking. As soon as the truck is through he’s about to jump out of the truck and run, but Jonathan grabs his shoulder and points out that the trucker is gonna crash. Jonathan floors it as they chase after the truck. Danny jumps in through the side and manages to hit the brakes.

When he climbs out of the truck Jonathan claps him on the back congratulating him on a job well done. He looks him in the eye and says “it’s gonna be alright, but I think there’s somethings you need to tell Martha and I because I for one have no idea how to explain what just happened.” Danny gives him a huge grin and hugs him.

When they get home he explains everything, about dying, about his parents, about how he’s from another universe. Through it all the Kent’s are silent. Once Danny finishes his explanation he’s nervous, the last time he told someone they tried to finish the job. They just look at each other and laugh “So not an alien then? Darn, well I gotta say another universe is a new one but nothing we can’t handle.” Jonathan smiles

Danny stares “there are aliens in this universe?!?! How did I not know about this!?!” The Kents laugh, Martha pats him on the shoulder “well human or alien, alive or dead I’m afraid you’re family now. So I think it’s about time you start calling me Ma, best get that out of the way now. We’ll need to call Clark as well and tell him the good news, dear. You know he’ll want to fly right over.” She grins at Danny “I think the two of them will get on like a house on fire.” Danny’s not really sure how to react to all this but he can’t say he hates the warm feeling that has made its home next to his core. Jonathan or rather Pa wraps and arm around his shoulder and gives him a grin. “Looks like we’re gonna be a shoo in for this years best haunted hay ride with our very own ghost haunting the fields!” Danny can’t help it he laughs, he laughs until he cries as Ma Kent wraps her arms around him. For the first time in a long time.

He feels warm.

Clark puts a hand on Y/N’s shoulder…

Clark: you’ve been given a gift Y/N, one that I left behind for your mother.

Y/N: I-I don’t know if I can be-

Clark: you’ll be great. People of Earth can be great. They wish to be. They just need a light to show the way.

He traces the symbol…

Clark: you carry all of us with you. I believe in you, my son.

Y/N simply nods before shooting off into the sky, flying high…

What if the private school Damian goes to has some kind of life experience programme where you have to work somewhere for a while and earn a living to see how it feels (a school in my hometown has something like that) and he gets sent to live and work on the Kent's farm in Smallville.

Clark, being the nice guy that he is, offers to pick Damian and Bruce up and accompany them so they won't have to fly alone and can get a sense for what to expect before Damian is left completely alone in a different state (never mind that that's probably just a Tuesday for him; Clark doesn't know). Bruce accepts, but the night before Clark is supposed pick them up a breakout happens at Arkham and Bruce is up all night capturing and wrangling the escaped inmates back into their cells.

Which means he totally forgets about Clark and he's exhausted™ when Clark gets there. He wanders down into the kitchen an hour late only to find this big, muscly bear of a man with the kindest eyes sitting at the counter, listening attentively to Damian's rant about farm animals and why the cow is obviously superior to other species.

Clark, hearing the footsteps, looks up and finds himself face to face with Bruce. Who is only dressed in very tight boxer briefs and his flimsy pink robe. His hair is sticking up every which way and there are still pillow creases on his face. He's gorgeous.

Obviously, they fall instantly in love and Bruce visits the Kent farm so often that the principal of the school calls him and tells him that the purpose of this programme is to let the kids work and thrive without their parents' influence and how he can't just fly to Kansas anymore.

Fully believe that Bruce loves the Kent farm because it's so different from everything in his life. He can't be anything but Vengeance at Wayne Manor/Tower, can't be anything but Brucie Wayne in Gotham, fully -in -control-occasional dickhead Batman at the Watchtower and Dad in Bludhaven. But at the Kent farm, he's just another guest engaged in a death match with Martha to help clean up.

Mornings At Kent Farm: Peaceful. Birds chirping. Sounds of general love and harmony. Soft good mornings and positive affirmations.

Mornings At Wayne Manor: EVERYTHING'S ON FIRE!!! Put it out put it out put it- will everyone stop crying?! Bruce, get your face out of your cereal! Who stabbed Tim?!

However,

Nights At Wayne Manor: Everyone talking quietly. Someone playing music in their room. Siblings catching up with each other. Someone putting on a movie and making popcorn for everyone.

Nights At Kent Farm: WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE COWS GOT OUT?? No flying!! Lasers everywhere. Stop shouting, you're making Clark cry! What do you mean Jon is missing??
