Thanks for the prompt It took me a while to think about what to write then it hit me I haven't written anything for Peter Quill and Adam Warlock

(Platonically but can be seen as Adam having a cute Crush or Squish if you want but nothing overtly Romantic...uh Ambiguous if you will)

Warning for Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Spoilers (Not alot but yknow..some)

Adam sat in his room he had adjusted well to being a Guardian alongside Rocket and Kragglin. however he couldn't help but think about Peter Quill the man he had saved from dying in space, he had only spoken to him once but he was curious about him.

he had heard of Quill's return and he wanted to do something special for him, he grabbed a blank cassette tape and learned to add some songs to it from Rocket's Zune (don't ask how, he just knew somehow).

Adam had gathered a playlist of songs he had found and enjoyed and wanted to share his joy in music with Peter something personal that he no doubt knew that Peter could relate and appreciate.

Nebula had found a Walkman handing it to Adam "Here It should play the cassette" she said with a small smirk.

"Thank you Nebula" Adam said softly taking the Walkman he raised a brow looking around for a pair of headphones spinning around for a moment before he was stopped by Peter.

"Woah Careful there...you're gonna make yourself dizzy" Peter chuckled gently helping Adam stand upright.

Adam nodded gently "Right, Thank you" he blinked before perking up and smirking "Ah Quill you've returned !" he said cheerfully.

he gave Peter a warm hug surprising Quill but Peter hugged Adam back gently nonetheless "Yeah I'm back …just for a visit I wanted to check on you all, see how you were doing..."

The first thing Peter noticed was the change in outfit for Adam, he smiled warmly "Oh, nice...Those colours actually kinda suit you. Not bad"

"Oh well, Thank you..." Adam said softly he quickly hid the cassette tape and the Walkman in a failed attempt to surprise the Terran.

Peter noticed this and smirked "You're welcome" he raised a brow still smirking "Whatchya got there?" he said gesturing to what's behind Adam's back.

"Um...it's a surprise?" Adam tried his best to sound convincing but he sounded unsure if anything.

"Huh...alrighty then, hey listen I didn't know what you'd like from Earth but uh I picked up a few things..." Peter said as he set his bag down gently digging through it. He pulled out a toy for Adam's Pet a small squeaky toy to be specific, he also pulled out a chocolate bar that he thought Adam could try.

Adam blinked a few times looking at the small yet meaningful gifts he had received from Peter. "Why, That's awfully kind of you Peter, I uh Have a gift for you as well".

He handed Peter the Newfound Walkman and the mixtape he had made for him.

"What's this?" Peter asked as his eyes scanned the Mixtape he smirked at the neat handwriting that read 'Warlock Mix (Made by Adam)'.

"It's a collection of songs I want to share with you...songs I enjoy and hold near to my heart, I've listened to your mix tapes on the stereo tape player but I figured this uh Walkman would better suit your needs; listening to it on the go. While you're out there you can uh think of me" Adam said with a smile kind of rambling happily.

Peter smiled wide as he pulled Adam in for a hug "Thanks Adam, I'll give it a listen when I get the chance...that's pretty thoughtful of you..".

"Do you wanna listen to it together?" He offered.

Adam nodded gently "I-I'd love to!, and uh maybe we could dance together? I've learned a few dance moves and heard you've partaken in a dance off during your first battle with the Guardians..".

Peter chuckled softly "Oh they told you about that huh?...That was a fun time actually...But yeah sure. We can bust a few moves together and dance the night away".

Adam smiled warmly as he held the gifts in his hand they meant a lot to him but his time with Quill building a friendship with him as they shared music together meant so much more to him.

Ok I’ve been seeing a bunch of people telling stucky shippers to move on and stop being rude/invading other ships tags but like (and maybe I just stay that far inside my own lane?) I’ve yet to see stucky shippers being rude to other shippers?

I have however, seen other shippers being hella rude to Stucky shippers and invading that tag tho, so maybe y’all Stucky-antis should try looking in the mirror.

This is my comfort ship and I gotta say I’m super over this ship-war brainrot that’s been happening. Everyone should ship what makes them happy and just not interact with ones they don’t like.

In an opinion piece by Martin Scorsese at The New York Times on Marvel movies, he said “In the end, I don’t think they’re cinema”. In our modern world, superhero films are more popular than ever. And no company is better known for their superhero films than Marvel Comics. Almost everyone you know has seen a Marvel film. When Infinity War came out, the world rejoiced. Batman who? Superman who? Ironman is the new Man of Steel. But have you caught the bug? Have you started to hold these films as a baseline for what a good superhero, nay, good movie should look like? If so, you may be beginning to have your mind clouded by the Avengers Infection.

So here are 5 ways for me to help you find out if you have been infected with Marvel Movie Brain Rot.

You believe Black Widow was a well written character

Despite what the films and fan made material made you think, Natasha Romanoff, aka the Black Widow, was not a well written female character. The first Avengers film doesn’t even pass the Bechdel test. For the uninitiated, that is whether a film has two female characters who have a single conversation not about men. So, not a good look there Avengers films.

You think the Avengers were all friends

It’s not your fault, it’s a misunderstanding of source material. It’s fine to like superheroes and not care about their source material, but you must do so with the understanding that your perception of the characters are not accurate.

You didn’t like Batman v Superman because no one told jokes

There is not liking certain kinds of movies, and there’s thinking one franchise should define the genre. Scorsese says “What’s not there is revelation, mystery or genuine emotional danger. Nothing is at risk”. Marvel movies, at this point, have a formula. Some guy, usually a white guy, gets bestowed with power and a mission. They tell jokes. End. The rest of cinema, even in superhero films, can be very different.

Black Panther and Shang-Chi are the only major nonwhite films you know

Black Panther and Shang-Chi are good movies. They are enjoyable, respectful, and arguably make more of an attempt at art than the rest of Marvel’s catalog. But there are worlds of Black, Asian, Latin, Russian, and any other country you can think of with rich film history. If you’ve only seen these two films from this culture, then your filmography worldview is very small.

You think Endgame was the height of cinema

Scorsese says, “All the same, they(marvel movies) lack something essential to cinema: the unifying vision of an individual artist.” Endgame was a monolith film built from a decade of stories, CGI techniques, famous actors, and too many cooks. It is impossible to identify an artist's single unique vision in Endgame, and that's not good.

It’s not bad to love things. Whether Marvel, DC, Harry Potter, or any other problematic fav, you deserve to enjoy bad media. What isn’t okay is letting your favorite things cloud your judgement of actual quality. I’m all for living bad shit, but you gotta remember that bad movies are still bad. And I’m begging use some reading comprehension.

Miles teaching Hobie how to do more detailed graffiti and Hobie swinging around both his and Miles’s dimension finding more spots to do it in and them both going around leaving tags places and at the end of the day they’re both laughing together and actually having a chance to not be two heroes with the weight of the world on their shoulders but just teenagers who get to have fun and deserve this lighthearted moment and I might not be entirely sober
