How the marauders cry:
Mary-trying to save her makeup
Sirius-sniffs and sobs
Peter-gets into the foetus position on the floor, alone, wails and wimpers
Remus-no sound, just cries in silence
Lily-hides her face, doesn’t want anyone to see her cry
Marlene-laughs at herself and is embarrassed, acts like nothing happened
James-blubbering, always alone
Barty-starts getting angry at himself, throws and breaks things
Evan-cries a couple of good tears alone than just goes on with his day like nothing happened
Regulus-single tear kind of crier
Dorcas-feels disgusted with herself, doesn’t let herself cry and just swallows it all down
Pandora-gentle little sobs, tries to be quiet, doesn’t want to bother anyone

Why do these shots look so uncomfortably similar? Did they do this on purpose? Were they meant to parallel each other - Remy being dead and Rogue feeling dead inside? Is that what this is signifying? Is that what they're telling us with this? Haven't we suffered enough?
These writers are fucking sadists...

Andy Weir is so so good at making a HUGE impact when a character cries or breaks down. The rest of the novels are usually pretty light hearted and suddenly BAM. TEARS. and it just really gets me. It suddenly reminds me of the massive impact those kinds of situations would actually have because these people are HUMAN. The reality of what they are going through. Amazing 10/10
