It's funny how a lot children's TV shows based on Alice in Wonderland try to add some sort of moral, since Lewis Carroll wrote the Alice books as an antithesis to the sort of moralizing literature of the Victorian Era. I do at least believe they're not targeting the Eggs anymore (somewhat hesitantly) but I do not buy for a moment that they were only going with the attack on the Eggs because the CODES wanted to

Idk how the Codes were made or even how they fully work, but I'm willing to bet that the Rebellion was the one telling the Codes to attack the Eggs in the first place. But then the Codes started to fragment and become erratic, and they stopped attacking them as much

Right around the time the Rebellion says they lost control of the Codes

What I'm guessing happened is that when the Codes started going out of control, the Rebellion realized they'd need help to get them back under control, and would need to recruit more people as a result. So they decided to do some damage control on their reputation by painting the Codes as scapegoats for the crap they've pulled. After all, it's pretty easy to believe that the the literal child-murderer is the bad guy. But you've gotta remember that the people saying that have LITERALLY JUST FULLY ADMITTED to condoning child murder. They're just downplaying the role they played in it is all

So yeah, I wouldn't fully trust these guys. Though they are (barely slightly) better than the alternative (The Federation)

you know what i think is really cool about dungeon meshi? the fact that it really handles the whole 'how our food is made' so gracefully. in this day and age, we've become so disconnected from how our food is produced and distributed that the thought of how our food is obtained brings disgust to many people (and for the big industry farms, it honestly should! but im referring to our existence as omnivores in the food chain). marcille acted ridiculous whenever the thought of killing a monster for food is brought up, but honestly, she's a great model for how many people nowadays react whenever they have to truly think about what they are consuming/are brought to a meat farm.

senshi shows the characters (and us, the audience) about the process of making food in a respectful, genuine way to the creatures he has used to produce nourishing meals. by explaining the nutrition and benefits of each creature, he creates and healthy relationship between the consumers and the meal they have. the show really brings a new dimension of respect for each of our meals. truly the bob ross/marie kondo of cooking.

A cult has been causing trouble for the Infinite Realms in their search for power and eternal life. And to make things worse, the Observants suspect that they have at least one actual ghost—or possibly even a traitorous Observant—working with them and interfering with their view. This could become a major problem…

However, as Observants, they’ve sworn not to intervene directly, so they have to pick someone else to look deeper into the situation for them. And, if necessary, to deal with it.

They choose Phantom for this role, since his half-human nature means he’ll have an easier time operating in the living world. Danny’s not entirely happy with the assignment, but the situation does seem like a genuine issue so he’s willing to look into it (if in his own way).

Since he doesn’t know how prepared the cult is for ghosts, he decides that infiltration would be the best way to gather info. Thus, he takes on a new identity in his human form and approaches the cult, expressing interest in the publicly known part of their group. Then, a bit later, he manages to successfully gain admittance into some of the more private meetings. Everything is progressing as planned!

…Though he didn’t expect to like one of his fellow initiates so much. He hopes he can change their mind on things and bring them out of the cult with him when he’s done.

Meanwhile, a hero from the Justice League has also been sent to infiltrate the cult and investigate the rumors about it. It’s gone off without a hitch so far, but they’ve gained a potential entanglement in the form of one of the other new members whom they’re developing a crush on…
