Does anyone else ever feel like music reaches every single part of you? Reverberates through every layer of consciousness all the way down to your lizard brain? Like your hearing and processing organs are more like an octopus’ brain and they carry it across every limb and into your very core so it seems to shape the entire world?
i'll never understand people with adhd who are like "well it comes with its struggles of course but at least it helps me hyperfocus on my passion, its like a superpower", like good for you for being the chosen one but my adhd makes me play tetris for 5 hours straight without any bathroom breaks while a rotation of the same 3 shows ive seen a bajillion times is running in the background
reminder to everyone to pleaseplease not blast full volume music through earphones !!! just a couple notches down from full volume even makes a difference !!!! headphones do less direct damage to your ears so its slightly better to blast music through headphones if you want to !!!!! love you all <333 /p
Okay, I have taken the constructive criticism and made an OG hyperfixation poll 2.0 . Please reblog with the same ferocity. I am dying to see the results.

music protip: if you're starting to get tired of listening to a favorite song, find a cover or live version of it. watch the music video, official or fanmade. read the lyrics while you listen (if possible), and be mindful about it. see if you can find a video/track of the artist talking about the song's meaning. make a mood board for the song. these all help your brain form new connections to the song, which helps it from getting old!
