I think I've been temporarily posessed by the @astercontrol Pattern Recognizer. Or maybe the universe is just trying to tell me something, though I have no idea what it might be.
Tumblr media
See, I have had this half-joking, half-serious headcanon for a while, about the character Allenby Beardsley from the anime Mobile Fighter G Gundam. For those of you not familiar with her, she's a mech pilot hailing from Sweden (or technically "Neo-Sweden" in the sci-fi future universe of the series), and she pilots a giant robot named the Nobel Gundam, which inexplicably is designed to look like Sailor Moon. This is especially weird in the context of the series, which contains multiple mech pilots from different countries, all piloting robots that are somehow based on national stereotypes. So while the name "Nobel Gundam" makes sense (named after Alfred Nobel and the Nobel Prize), I have no idea what a Japanese magical girl anime has to do with Sweden.
Tumblr media
Anyways, my headcanon is based on the following aspects of the character:
The name “Allenby Beardsley” is definitely not a traditional Swedish name. In fact, it consists of two English surnames, and is thus gender neutral.
Allenby pilots a mech that looks very feminine, but is named after Alfred Nobel, a man.
The blue hair.
From this, I have decided that Allenby Beardsley is nonbinary, goes by they/them pronouns, and that they chose their name themself.
Tumblr media
Now, here's where things get weird. I've had this half-joking headcanon for a while, but yesterday, I discovered that there's a comedian/actor who goes by they/them pronouns, named... Ally Beardsley. And I thought "haha, that's a funny coincidence"...
...but then, today, I discover "Alienby Comics" ( @alienbycomics ), by a they/she creator, who has explained that the name is a portmanteau of "Alien" and "Enby".
So now I'm basically like this:

I see so many transmasc and transfem headcannons in fandom spaces, but basically no transneutral ones. Please reblog this with any transneutral (or any trans headcannons that aren't transmasc or transfem) you have about any character from any peice of media.
I'll start with a few of my own.
The younger Pines twins (Gravity Falls): both grow up to be very different flavors of nonbinary. Seeing as they're 24 now, Mabel dresses even more flamboyantly, uses any pronouns, and is largely unlabeled. Dipper is somewhat medically transitioned but dresses like they always did, their legal name is now Dipper.
Taylor (Worm): don't have much to say about this one. Feels like the type of agender person who thinks nobody strongly identifies with womanhood or manhood and then suddenly comes to a realization. Probably would switch to they/them pronouns but not change their presentation much, but also would likely became much happier after figuring out their identity.
Hange (attack on titan): more of demicannon then headcannon since it's how the creator envisioned them. Shout-out to them though.
Please reblog with headcannons of your own, I'll be really sad if I find out I'm the only one who has enby headcannons for anyone.

I love how gender zane is
You can tell me, I headcannon zane as a cis male with some feminine traits
And I'm like 100% see that. Perfect headcannon
You can tell me, I headcannon zane as a trans male and create a cool story about how they transitioned from female to male.
And I'm like 100% see that. Perfect headcannon
You can tell me, I headcannon zane as a trans women and create a story on them realising that about them.
And I'm like 100% see that. Perfect headcannon
You can tell me, nah that mf is nonbinary or genderfluid.
And guess what..
And I'm like 100% see that. Perfect headcannon

Was playing around with my Jack Frost headcanons, specifically one that is based on canon, and now I may or may not have a new headcanon for him-
In the books, Jack Frost has been shown to have age manipulation powers. Basically, he can look and be however old he wants. If he wants to be Old Man Winter with more wrinkles than a crumpled paper? Nobody can stop him. I have this as part of my headcanons for the movie, that he can alter his age and shapeshift, he just kinda chooses to stay the age he was when he died.
I also have been really in love with the idea of Jack just- Having long hair sometimes. One minute he has the haircut we all know and love, the next he's basically cosplaying Sephiroth from Final Fantasy. Why? Why not.
Thinking of these headcanons, I wondered "why stop at age? What if he can use his shapeshifting to alter his gender?" and thus, my new headcanon has been born: Genderfluid Jack Frost.
My first genderfluid headcanon yippee ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Headcanon that basically everything about Atsushi is incredibly vague.
Is this a guy ish looking girl or girlish looking guy? Meeting him for the first time everyone waits for someone to use a gendered term to refer to him instead of daring to guess
He simultaneously looks 15, 18, and 20 at the same time. Has been repeatedly served alcohol on accident multiple times but has also been mistaken for a kid in his first year of high school and has to flash his id like 3 times a day.
All members of the agency know that he’s been through a lot but no one really has the specifics. He’ll only drop tidbits of info when it’s relevant and won’t open up unless prompted to.
His ability is one of the most enigmatic things about him. Any questions he answers just leave’s everyone with more questions, so the agency has resorted to just being grateful that he’s on their side. Even people like Francis, Mori, Dazai, and Fyodor don’t quite understand everything.

Let's talk about My Hero Academia for a bit. First of all, according to the MHA Wiki, the manga is to conclude in five chapters, so Season 7 of the anime will DEFINITELY be the last from what I know. As the series nears its conclusion, I have one question on my mind: WHY has Horikoshi not revealed anything about Fumikage Tokoyami's backstory? I mean, you don't just create a character with birdlike features and not explain how they (my headcanon is that Tokoyami is nonbinary) became that way!
