The Marauders fandom really underestimates just how fucking weird Remus has the potential to be, especially during his first few years at Hogwarts. He was an only child, and thanks to his Lycanthropy, he was basically raised in isolation. So already, he's severely lacking in social skills, not to mention the mental effects of isolation on a child. He probably had vivid imaginary friends and spent a large chunk of his time daydreaming and reading to soothe the loneliness.

I imagine his school nickname "Loopy" was well-earned. Just imagine how awkward and strange he would have been, this 11 year old only child who has never interacted with another child in his life and whose only friends were his (arguably ALSO weird/quirky) parents, attending school for the first time?

Wait why would emancipation undo adoption? If someone gets emancipated isn't it like getting adult rights faster? If you're 20 and in the hospital your parents can still visit you even if you're an adult because they're still your parents

Why would Bruce stop being Tim's Parent?

If he lost parental rights, wouldn't that be disowning? (side note i almost wrote Discowing instead of disowning)

I am Very Confused

Emancipation is essentially divircing your parents. It means that in the eyes of the law, your parents are no longer legally your parents. Bruce disowning a child would mean nothing as the legal connection is still there. An adoption would add Bruce's name to Tim's birth certificate. An emancipation would sever that tie and Bruce would be removed legally.

i’m loosing my fucking mind. no actually i’ve Lost my fucking mind because when ronan is helping to restrain adam in the whole demon takeover fiasco ronan whispers “forsan et haec olim meminisse iuvabit” (“maybe we'll be laughing about even these things in the future.”) in his hearing ear. and ronan saying that is finally what relaxes adam.

and as if that wasn’t enough for one chapter ORPHAN GIRL THEN COMES AND GIVES ADAM BACK HIS WATCH AND GIVES HIS ARM A LITTLE KISS. THE SAME WATCH THAT ADAM GAVE HER BECAUSE HE KNEW WHAT IT MEANT TO BE SCARED AND ALONE IN A NEW PLACE AND FINDS TIME AND BEING AWARE OF TIME TO BE COMFORTING AND A CONFORMATION OF HIS AUTONOMY AND WANTED TO GIVE HER THAT SAME COMFORT.

Batmom and Jason Thought

Headcanon that batmom acts truly appalled if anyone tries telling her Jason did something bad.

"Jason? My sweet little Jason? how dare you try to insinuate and frame him, my boy, who has never done anything wrong in his entire life." with a glare so cold they accept their own defeat and leave the angry mother alone.

The first time it happened, Jason was terrified of getting in trouble, of disappointing you when he made a mistake and someone was just too eager to tattle on him. He didn't mean to bother someone at the gala-

Bruce never fails to find it hilarious. 'your sweet little innocent Jason? the one I met while he was stealing the batmobile's tires?'

You fix a playful glare at him, not changing your tone and patting Jason's hair while he hides beside you at the party "who has never done anything wrong in his life Bruce. Look at him, an angel."

Your proud tone and curling lips are enough to make Jason laugh too, forgetting about how stressed he was about a gala, and is happy the rest of the night to just sit with you and smile because he's "your little boy."
