Muffins
You and Tim ruin muffins for Jason and Dick.
Ummm, I’m not sure how we got here. I was requested to make a super fluffy piece, but it just turned sideways. I don’t even know why it turned out the way it did.
Sorry if y’all are squeamish about spit, I’m just disgusting
This is literally the first smut piece I've done, it's not full smut, but still, let me know how I did!
Sorry to the anon that requested a fluff piece. I really don’t know where it went wrong. Please blame my parents for my repressed childhood.
Feedback is always appreciated. Feel free to message me privately or comment below to let me know what you think. Constructive criticism is always welcome!

You gaze excitedly upon the remaining muffin, with your salivary glands kicking into overdrive as you inhale the dessert’s scent.
Your tongue hangs out slightly in preparation for muffin to enter your mouth. It’s a big muffin, and it’ll be a tight fit, but you’re sure you can manage.
The pads of your fingers are ready to pick up the muffin when, unexpectedly, another pair of hands enter the frame.
It occurs almost in slow motion. Tim’s nimble fingers grasp the sides of the dessert, removing the liner and tossing it in an unknown direction. He purposely holds your gaze, aware that you are watching his every move in utter shock. He grins widely, knowing that he’ll be punished for his actions, but nonetheless, believes that your reaction would be worth the trouble.
“Don’t do it,” you warn.
“Watch me.”
He opens his mouth widely, stretching his face to the maximum. He stuffs the muffin into his mouth carefully. Tim doesn’t want to actually eat the muffin. Oh no, he wants to simply bask in the experience of bothering you. Because nothing makes Tim happier than when he’s on your mind, even if it’s at the expense of your peace of mind.
The muffin completes its journey to Tim’s mouth. His lips struggle to close completely, as his mouth is at its maximum capacity.
The look on your face is worth the painful stretch of his jaw. He wants to smile, but he knows he’ll choke if he does. It’s now time for phase two.
He reaches into his mouth and grabs the base of the muffin. He cautiously pulls it out, one centimeter at a time. You watch in disgust as Tim pulls the muffin out his mouth, still fully intact, and places it proudly back on the plate it was originally on.
There’re a few seconds of silence before laughter cuts through the air. Your eyes shoot daggers at Jason and Dick, who are sitting at the kitchen table as well. Jason clutches his stomach and Dick covers his face with his hands, both shaking uncontrollably with laugher. You turn to face Tim, who sports a toothy grin. He knows what your reaction will be. You know he’s just doing this to get a rise out of you. You know this, but you can’t help yourself.
You shudder involuntarily. “That was so foul,” you start. You look over at your traumatized muffin. There’s an extra shine on the dessert that wasn’t there before. You realize it’s Tim’s spit that made its way from his mouth and settled into its pores.
“You’re disgusting,” you add.
Tim has now joined in on the laughter. It’s the type of laughter that’s so boisterous that through his shirt, you can see his stomach contort as the sound travels out of his body. It’s an infectious laugh that you realize you never want to be immune to.
Your mouth quivers as you try your best not laugh, too. This is serious! He messed with your muffin! And it’s the last one, so it’s not like you can just grab another!
“I-I-I can’t even eat this!” you sputter. “Your saliva is all over it!”
Tim’s laughter doesn’t slowly die down, but instead, it abruptly ends. It shocks you at just how quickly the mood changes. He quirks his head to the side, looking deep into your eyes. Tim blankly stares at you and approaches. He’s no longer looking at your eyes, as his gaze lowers to your mouth. His fingers graze your lips, and you hold your breath. There’s something electric in the air suddenly. The atmosphere has shifted from lively to…sensual. You’re unsure of what’s about to happen next. You can’t even continue with your rant, and you simply gaze at him in anticipation.
“My saliva is all over your muffin?” he mocks. He no longer has a childish smile on his face, but sports a devious smirk instead.
You’re unsure of how to reply. All you can do is nod slightly, your eyes round with excitement, wondering what Tim will say next.
One hand remains on your lips and the other slides up and down your arm. The motion would be comforting during any another moment. In this moment though, the action is anything but comforting. Instead, it lights a fire within your core.
“You’ve literally begged me to spit in your mouth before,” he emphasizes. “A little saliva won’t hurt you one bit.”
The laughter from Jason and Dick immediately ceases and is replaced by disgusted groans. You can see from the corner of your eye that Dick is pretending to vomit and Jason’s face contorts in revulsion.
Tim’s raunchy admission makes you blush furiously, but it also leaves your toes curling. Redness now tints your neck, face, and ears. Your craving for dessert quickly dissipates and now you have a different sort of hunger.
“I didn’t need to hear that,” Jason laments.
“Yeah, thanks guys. You’ve ruined muffins for me,” Dick adds.
You don’t even hear what Jason and Dick continue to complain about. Tim is all that crowds your mind. He’s still got that devious smirk on his face. You stare right back at him as you make your next move.
You grab the muffin without breaking eye contact. He’s so focused on you and his attentiveness makes you all the more tense. You break it in half and slip your portion into your mouth. Its sweetness immediately hits your tongue, and you just have to close your eyes at how good it tastes.
You open your eyes after you’ve swallowed, and notice that Tim’s still looking at you with passion, love, and lust in his eyes. You lean in closer to him and hold up the remaining portion to his lips. He opens his mouth and you take the opportunity to slip his half of the muffin in. When he begins to chew it, you whisper. You whisper low enough to where Jason and Dick can’t hear what you’re saying. This conversation is between you and Tim only.
“The muffin was good, but I think I need something else to wash it down with.”

Two of the Same ~Pt 3~
Pairings: Tim Drake//Red Robin x gn!Reader
Fandom: DC Universe
Warnings: Use of language, mentions of violence and wounds
A/N: This is the last chapter, and I’ll be honest, I haven’t proofread much of it, and it’s kind of long! I’m so sorry, loves! I just don’t see enough Tim fanfics on here, and he’s one of my favorite characters ever, so I decided to make some for you! Enjoy!
Summary: Every night a masked vigilante comes into Y/N's bedroom, and to their knowledge, it's to "clean his wounds." But the visits go deeper than that when underneath that mask, unbeknownst to Y/N, is their classmate, Tim Drake, who has a huge crush on them.

Are we dating? Are we together? I’m not entirely sure.
I still have no clue who Red Robin is underneath that mask. I have no idea who he is, and it’s killing me. I’ve asked him about it, and he keeps saying “soon.” Like, when’s soon? How soon? It’s already been 2 months, and I’m still not sure what soon means. Does he even know when soon is? I’ve known the guy for almost 2 years, we’ve been all mushy gushy for almost 3 months.
It’s literally killing me.
Does he think that I’m going to hate his face? He wears a thin mask that only covers his eyes. I’ve already seen half of it, and I don’t hate it.
I put down the pencil and notebook that I had just finished writing my thoughts in as soon as I heard my phone buzz.
I smiled when I saw that Tim had sent me another text. In fact, he had sent me two texts.

I squealed and jumped out of my bed, running across the hall and into the bathroom to start the shower. I then ran out of the bathroom and back into my bedroom to get a change of clothes, and some of my hair stuff.
“Y/N! What are you doing in there?” My father asked from what I think was the living room.
“My friend invited me out, and I’m pretty excited, sorry!” I announced. My parents were muttering to each other for a moment and the last sentence I heard was-
“Y/N never gets that excited about hanging out with Jackie..” I laughed at that until I heard my mothers voice.
“Is it that boy? The one you’ve been texting?” She asks. I pause for a moment.
“How do you know about that?” I say as I peek my head out into the hallway.
“Oh come on, Y/N. Your phone bill went up 25 dollars this past month, and you get super excited when your phone lights up with a notification. The only reasonable explanation is a boy.” She stated.
Curse my parents for being lawyers.
And curse me for being so obvious with it.
“Yeah well. It is a boy.” I agree, taking all of my stuff into the bathroom with me.
“Well just be safe, okay? And make sure he’s not in any gangs?” She asked of me.
“But if he is in one, tell us so that we can go against him in court and make money!” My father added, before I closed the door. I rolled my eyes, smiling, as I stripped out of my clothes and stepped into our shower.
I had to exit the shower real quick, though, because I forgot to press play on my music.
When I stepped back in, the warm water felt nice against my back, but because my parents loved high water pressure, it felt like pebbles of rocks were being thrown at me, which was annoying. But I had to do what I had to do.
I washed my hair, shaved my legs, washed my body 3 times with 3 different soaps, and then a scrub. When I stepped out, I smelled like the colors of the rainbow, and immediately wrapped a towel around my body and hair, so that the cold air wouldn’t give me pneumonia.
I did a facial routine as I waited for my body to dry, and took my damp hair out of the towel as I finished up.
I don’t want to take too long and bore you dear reader as I explain what I did for the remainder of the time before Tim got there, so let me just speed things up for you.
I brushed out my hair, dried off my body, put my clothes on, dried my hair, proceeded to sing along to a bomb ass song on my playlist with the brush as my microphone, and the hair dryer blowing my hair back for dramatic effect, styled my hair, brushed my teeth, and walked out of the bathroom just in time because Tim had texted me notifying me that he was outside.
I told him I’d be right out, and I went into my bedroom to grab a pack of mint gum and my wallet just in case.
“Alright. Well I’m about to head out. I love you guys, and don’t have too much fun without me.” I told my parents as I walked past them in the living room.
“Have fun honey! Oh! And gangs! Careful of the gangs!” My mom yelled as I began to walk out the door.
“Money!” My father yelled immediately when I closed the door.
How silly my parents could be. And then I’d wonder where I got it from.
I basically ran down the hallway and down the stairs, until I came in view of the front door leading out to the street. I fixed my hair real quick, and adjusted my outfit, and walked out of the door.
In my view had to be one of the nicest cars I had ever seen, and inside of it was none other than Tim Drake. I smiled at him, and opened the door of the car.
“Hey!” I said as I sat in the seat. He smiled at me.
“You look beautiful.” He commented immediately. I blushed.
“Oh uh. Yeah thanks. You look nice too!” I complimented back. He chuckled, and pointed to the seatbelt.
“Don’t forget to buckle yourself in. I like to think I’m a good driver, but you never know what could happen.” He waited until I buckled myself in so that he could pull out and onto the street.
“So the cafè is a little of a ways from here, but that’s fine! It’s a really nice place, and I can’t wait to take you there.” He commented, glancing over to me. I smiled brightly.
“I can’t wait! I saw it on your Instagram last night, and it looks like a really comfortable environment!” A devious smirk covered his lips.
“I haven’t posted on my instagram in 3 months, Y/N.” He paused. “Were you stalking my Insta?” He asked. I rolled my eyes.
“It’s really aesthetically pleasing. How could I not look at it!” I tried to explain myself. In reality, I really just liked looking at photos of him, which sounded creepy. But to my defense, there was something about him that, and though I hated to admit it, attracted me to him.
Tim was cute, and smart, and funny. He cared about me and always asked if I was doing alright. He came to school more often now, and I had really started to like him. But my main issue was that I also really liked Red Robin. It made my heart hurt knowing that I couldn’t have both, and that I liked Tim while liking the masked vigilante.
“Are you okay?” Tim asked. I looked over to him, while he kept glancing at me, a concerned look in his eye.
“Oh I’m fine! I’m just thinking about a friend right now.” I told him. His eyebrows furrowed.
“Jackie?” He questioned. I laughed. I might as well be thinking of Jackie after she told me of her pregnancy scare last night, but my thoughts wandered elsewhere.
“Not exactly. Though I do worry about that girl sometimes. She’s a little crazy.” I comment, turning my body a little to face him. “Who knows. Maybe I was thinking of you!” I say, a small smile playing my lips. He blushes.
“I’d be honored if you were.” He smiles at me as we pull next to a sidewalk, with the supposed cafè right next to it. It was in Gotham square, and Tim was right, it did look comfortable.
I went to open my side of the car door, but Tim told me to hold on, and jumped out of the car. He closed the door and ran to the other side to open it for me.
“Sorry about that.” He said, as I got out of the car.
“What a gentlemen.” I teased as he closed the door behind me. He smiled, and we walked up to the door to the cafè. This time, I opened it for him.
“My turn now.” I joked. He laughed, and I followed behind him inside. It was quiet, and I could see why this would be Tim’s favorite place to be. It reminded me so much of him, actually. Quiet, peaceful, calm. And if cozy was a word I could use to describe a person, he’d be cozy.
“Tim! Hi!” A girl with long blonde hair said behind the counter. She noticed me and smirked. “Who’s this lovely person with you?” She asked.
“I’m Y/N.” I say, smiling at her. She returns it with a pearly grin.
“The usual, Timmy?” She asked. Tim nodded, and she turned to me. “And you, my love?” She asked. I really liked this girl. She seemed super sweet and enthusiastic.
“Can I get an iced peppermint latte?” I asked. She nodded.
“That’s my favorite too.” She commented, placing up the total. “And I’ll use the family discount for ya, Timmers.” She said, clicking some buttons on the screen. “Your total is 18.61.” She looked up at us and I took out a twenty in my wallet. Tim shook his head.
“I got it! Besides, she’s my sister. I’d never hear the end of it.” He said to me, putting his card into the machine. I stared at the two of them.
“You guys are siblings?” I asked. The girl nodded.
“Yep! Tim here is my little brother! Adoptive, that is. But still!” She beams down at him. He rolls his eyes.
“You’re older by a year. I’m not that much younger.” He reminded her, a smirk tugging his lips. She shrugged.
“Still younger!” She pressed one more button on the screen. “I’ll get those orders right out for the two of you!” She announced before she turned around to make the drinks.
I look over to Tim and he takes a breath. “Let’s sit at my favorite spot. Over here.” He leads the way to a cute little booth by the window, and we sit down across from one another.
“I would have never guessed that was your sister.” I laughed, glancing back at her as she was making the drinks.
“Yeah, my father has a habit of adopting kids. I have 7 older siblings, and one younger sibling.” He informs me. My jaw drops.
“No way!” I say, shocked. He nods.
“Yeah. Kate is the oldest, then comes Babs, Luke, Dick, Jason, Cass, Steph, me, and Damian.” He tells me, tapping his fingers on the table. I start to giggle.
“What?” He asks, a smile forming on his face.
“You give off little brother vibes, is all. Like, I could have figured you were one of the youngest in the family.” I joke. He begins to hide his smile as he shakes his head.
“Everybody says that, and I hate it.” I reach across and put my hand on his shoulder. He freezes, and blushes.
“It’s alright. I’m sure you still keep up with all of them.” I rub my thumb on his shoulder before I pull away. The blush deepens on his cheeks.
“I’m an only child. My parents saw how much of a hassle one child was, and dismissed any talk about having other children. I don’t think they regretted their decision.” I told him. A look of concern spread on his lips.
“Why? Were you that bad of a kid?” He asked. I shook my head.
“No. I’m just straight up my parents child. I act just like both of them, and they didn’t want to know what personality another one of their potential children could have. Having one that shared the same traits of theirs was enough.” I responded. Tim looked out the window.
“None of the adopted kids in my family are like Bruce. We all share similar traits, but we’re nothing alike. Dick is overly positive, Jason is overly negative, Babs is badass, Steph is sarcastic, Cass is quiet, Luke is wise, Kate is serious. The closest one to Bruce is probably Damian, who is his biological son.” Tim spoke, nodding his head as he finished his sentence.
“What about you?”
“Huh?”
“What about you?” I repeated, staring at him straight in the eyes. “What do you have in common with him?”
“I don’t know. My logic? Maybe? I think I’m just like you. I’m probably my biological parents child.” He declared. I nodded.
“Nothing wrong with that! But I think you shouldn’t hold yourself to a lower standard then the rest of your siblings. You all share your qualities, and I really like yours.” I smile at him, and he returns it, making it my turn to blush.
“This may sound cheesy to say, but I like hanging out with you. We should do this more often.” He commented. I laughed, crossing my arms.
“Why? Because you like me complimenting you?” I asked. His eyes widen, and he shakes his head.
“No! No, no, no! You’re just super fun, and… you’re uhm.. you’re a good person so…” He starts to stumble across his words and I shake my head.
“I was just teasing you, Tim. I like hanging out with you too.” We both stop smiling as we’re staring into each others eyes. From the lighting in this cafè, he looks like an angel. It’s lighting up his raven black hair, and making him look even more beautiful in that sweater. The softness of this cafè make his features softer too. A part of me hopes that the reason that he looks so calm and relaxed is because he’s with me.
Or maybe I’m a narcissist who thinks everything is about them. Who knows!
“Tim and Y/N?” We hear Tim’s sister call. We look over and see her standing by the counter with two drinks. Tim and I both get up to get them.
“Thanks, Steph.” He thanks her, grabbing both of our drinks. I pull out my wallet again, and place the twenty that I was going to use earlier to pay, into the tip jar.
“Keep Y/N, Tim. Keep them. They’re perfect.” Steph calls out. Tim hands my drink to me, blushing.
“Shut up!” He yells as we exit the cafè. I laugh.
“Oh shit! I didn’t even ask! Did you want to stay in there or did you want to go to the park now?” He asked. I smiled.
“We can go to the park now if you’d like.” He nodded and opened the car door for me.
“Thanks, Tim.” I told him once he got in. He shot me a toothy grin. We put on our seatbelts and he started the car.
“Anytime! Like I said, I like spending time with you. Making you comfortable is what’s most important to me.” He pulled out of the square. I stared at his hands on the wheel. My eyes trailed to his face. He was biting his lip, and I noticed a small scar on the bottom one.
“What happened to your lip?” I asked him, reaching across to hover my thumb over it. His face flushed and he glanced over to me.
“Some crazy guy on the street. He attacked me, and one of those vigilantes must have been nearby or something, and he saved me.” He explained, putting on the turn signal and turning left. I felt my heart skip a beat.
“Do you know which one it was? That saved you?” I asked. He stayed quiet for a moment.
“The red one. Kind of slim. Black hair. He fights using a long stick.” I smiled. Yep. Of course it would be Red Robin. I sat there smiling to myself, bringing my drink to my lips, but stopped when I had come to a realization.
Black hair. My eyes trailed up to take a look at Tim’s hair. Raven black. A middle part similar to Red’s. My eyebrows furrowed.
My eyes then trailed down to his body. He always wore oversized clothes, but his exterior was definitely not huge. He was a pretty skinny guy. Slim like Red.
And then my eyes trailed back to the scar on his lip. The same place that Red’s lip had been busted at.
And isn’t it so convenient that both Tim’s and Red’s arms had been broken in the same spot? And both of them being the right arm? And in the same week?
My heart started to beat faster, and my eyes widened.
“When did you get attacked?” I finally asked him after a long moment of silence. He was now pulling into the park.
“Uhh like 2 months ago? Yeah, it was kinda bad. What you get for living in Gotham I guess.”
My heart stopped.
I felt ringing in my ears.
Everything around me turned to slow motion, and I just stared at him.
There was no way that nerdy, quiet, billionaire’s son Tim Drake, who had much better things to do with his time and money, would go out at night and defend civilians of Gotham from all the chaos and destruction. There was no way. And how would he keep this secret from his family? They couldn’t of known, right?
But at the same time, it all made sense. All of the injuries that he had had over the years, how he’d sleep during most of his classes, and look exhausted whenever he’d show up at school. How he would act towards me.
The one thing that stumped me was that Red and Tim had two different personalities. Red Robin was mysterious, quick witted, confident, athletic. Tim was quiet, reserved, open, extremely intelligent, anxious, and bashful. There was no way that he was the masked vigilante that came into my bedroom every night. No fucking way!
Or maybe I was just trying to convince myself that.
“Y/N?” Tim’s voice brought me out of my thoughts. I looked over to see my side of the door open, and Tim waiting by it. “Y/N are you coming?” He asked. I nodded.
“Yeah! Yeah! Sorry! Just got lost in my thoughts for a moment. I was thinking about a mystery.” I excused as I grabbed my drink and got out of the car. Tim scoffed amused.
“Are you okay?” He asked as I shut the door behind me. I nodded quickly.
“Yeah- yeah. I’m fine. I’m good. I was just thinking about a notebook. Yeah. The notebook that I kept open on my bed. I hope that my parents don’t read it. They can be kind of nosy.” I added. I waited for Tim as he walked up to me.
“I thought you said you were thinking of a mystery?” He questioned.
I laughed nervously, not looking up at him. I was scared that my hypothesis was correct, and that he was Red Robin. “Yeah. The mystery of whether my parents looked into my notebook.” I say, as I begin walking next to him. I squeezed my drink, feeling the water on the outside of the plastic cup soaking my hand.
“Nah I’ve been there. The amount of times that my siblings have went through my stuff is astonishing. They might be nosier than your parents, and they’ll make fun of me for it!” He chuckled and I felt him look at me. I could feel him examining me. Analyzing for any clue as to what may or may not could have been wrong.
Reading every aspect of me. Something the “worlds second best detective” would do.
“Hey, are you sure you’re okay?” He asked, stopping mid-walk. He lightly grabbed my arm. I stopped too.
Slowly but surely, I looked up at him and into his dark blue eyes. Those blue eyes that I knew all too well. The pupil impossibly dilated, covering most of the iris. The waves of color that were visibly calm in my presence.
This time, unlike the time when we had first kissed, I noticed that we were standing oddly close to one another.
“Have you ever had something happen in your life that changed the course of it forever? And you can’t find an explanation for it, but when you finally do, it just comes at you like a train?” I asked him. The confusion was visible on his face, and he looked in between both of my eyes, possibly unsure of which one to look at.
Or he was trying to find an explanation for my words.
“I… yeah. Yeah I have.” He answers, looking at my lips nervously, before looking back up to my eyes. The triangle method. What a classic.
“Huh..” I said, before closing the space between us, pressing my lips against his. He seems taken aback for a second, before he began to kiss back, wrapping his arms around my waist, bringing me closer.
His kiss was soft, and gentle. Its intoxicating, passionate, and slow. And once I realize that I have kissed these lips before, I feel faint. I don’t pass out, but my heart races, and my hands become shaky as I drop my drink to the floor, scaring both of us as we pull apart.
“Oh my gosh! I’m so sorry!” He exclaims, looking down at the green and brown coffee in the ground. I could care less about the damn coffee, and instead I’m too busy marveling at the boy in front of me.
“It’s okay. It’s fine. I’m just-” I stare at him in awe. I want to laugh, but I can’t seem to form a coherent sentence. I just stare at him. He stares back after a moment, and a large smile appears on his face.
“Again, this may sound cheesy, but I’ve waited so long to do that.” He exclaims, smiling impossibly bigger, his face a beet red.
I giggle. “Is that so?” I ask him, knowing that he kissed me last night. He nods. “Then it’s a date.” I say as I happily wrap my arms around his left arm, continuing our walk.
He was blushing the whole rest of the “date.”
~~~~~~~
To my surprise, my parents did not go through my notebook, and they had left a little after I did. Lucky me!
But currently. As I did every night, I waited for my injured crusader to pop up at my window. My heart beating with excitement with every moment that passed.
When I was with Tim earlier, I was too astonished to tell him that I knew of his midnight persona, but I was going to tell him when he showed up, which I knew he would. After you spend a day with your crush, and you literally kiss them, how could you not visit them at late hours of the night in a spandex suit? Isn’t that what you’re supposed to do?
At around 9:12, which is pretty early for him, he knocked at my window, and I opened up.
“Hey, stranger.” I greeted sarcastically, a huge smile covering my lips.
“Good evening random civilian. Do you have any clowns in your humble abode?” He asked, as he climbed in through the window. I stepped back, allowing him some space.
“Not that I know of. But I do believe that I have a bird in here.” I stated, tapping my chin. He chuckled.
“I missed you.” He said as he wrapped his arms around me in a hug.
“I missed you too.” I rested my head on his chest, hearing his heart beat. For how calm his breathing was, his heart was pounding at an alarming rate.
I pulled away first. “So…” I trailed off. He chuckled.
“Sooooo?” He repeated. I smiled.
“Your identity.” I reminded him. I wanted to see if he would tell me before I had to do it myself. He shook his head, brushing a hand through my hair.
“You’ll know sooner than you think.” He promised. I shrugged, walking to my closet.
Do I have to do everything on my own?
“Alrighty. What’ll it be this time? Did some crazy guy attack you on the street?” I asked as I reached up to the top shelf. He laughed.
“Some crazy guy always attacks me on the street.” I nod.
“Okay what about accidentally hitting yourself with a car door?” I questioned him, grabbing the First aid kit off the top shelf.
“Y/N,” He laughed. “What are you talking about?” I sigh, playing with the kit in my hand.
“Okay then. Maybe this will jog your memory. What about falling down the stairs at Wayne Enterprises and breaking your arm?” I ask, turning around slowly. The smile on his face falls.
Now he knows that I know.
“Y/N, how did you?” He steps closer to me. “How did you know?” His voice switches to his actual voice, and not the one he uses for Red Robin. I smile softly, continuing to meddle with the kit in my hands.
“I noticed in the car earlier. Your lip has the scar in the same place where you busted it a few months ago. I sort of put the puzzle pieces together after that.” A huge smile appears on his lips.
“So that’s why you said that you were piecing together a mystery. That’s why you asked that question in the park. You had figured out that it was me.” It was his turn to put the pieces together now. I nodded, and his face fell.
“Does that mean you only kissed me to actually tell if I was Red Robin?” He asked. The smile fell off my lips too, and I dropped the kit, walking over to him. I placed my hand on his cheek.
“Can I take this off?” I asked, tapping lightly on the mask. He nodded slowly. Softly, I peeled it off his face, revealing his beautiful blue eyes. The smile returned to my lips.
“Now why would I kiss you and not mean it? At that point, I had already known it was you. I would never kiss just anybody.” I say as I place my lips onto his gently, my hands pressed against his chest. I felt him smile into the kiss.
“I wanted to tell you.” He said once we pulled away. I scoffed.
“Oh I’m sure you did, Mr. “I’ll tell you soon.” I teased. He sighed.
“Believe me, I did! It’s just that you kissed Red Robin not knowing Tim Drake. I wanted you to get to know me so that you’d fall in love with me, not whatever this is.” He gestured to his outfit. I pressed my forehead against his.
“This may sound cheesy, but I’d fall in love with any version of you.” I whispered onto his lips.
He let out an amused sound. “I’m happy that you know now.” He mumbled, his lips rubbing against mine. I pecked them lightly before leading him over to the bed, sitting us down.
“I have so many questions for you.” I informed him, holding his hands in mine, and looking straight into his eyes with excitement.
“Ill answer anything you throw at me.” He squeezed my hands 3 times, and I smirked.
“You’ll be here for a while, then.”
“We’ll call it a date.”
Attentive!Jason who feels you toss and turn away from him in the night, signalling that something was wrong. He didn't know what, but upon feeling you curl into a ball, holding your stomach, it clicked.
Attentive!Jason who turns on his side to pull you back into his chest, hoping the warmth would soothe you enough to go back to a deeper sleep. Sighing sadly, he realizes that this time might be worse than he thought.
Attentive!Jason who kisses your hairline and slowly untangles himself from you in order to get up. He goes and puts the kettle on, fills a glass of water and brings your painkillers of choice, making a mental note of buying you more the next time he's out.
Attentive!Jason who sets the glass and painkillers on your nightstand, then slowly makes his way back into bed. Gently, he wakes you with kisses and firm strokes on your back, soothing some of the ache.
Attentive!Jason who, upon gently waking you, helps you to the bathroom to get cleaned up and take a hot shower.
Attentive!Jason who kisses your lips every time you try and apologize for ruining the sheets followed by a "no more tears querida, just let me take care of you"
Attentive!Jason that fills up your hot water bottle and a cup of herbal tea with extra honey just how you like it, and brings both items back to your room. He wraps the hot water bottle in a thin, fuzzy blanket, as to not burn you.
Attentive!Jason who puts your towel and clean pyjamas in the dryer for 5 minutes to warm them up for you before you get out of the shower.
Attentive!Jason who helps dress you when your shower is done, but leaving you to do what you need to privately. He just wants you safe and comfortable.
Attentive!Jason that guides you back to bed, not in a smothering and demeaning way, but just to make things easier on your aching joints.
Attentive!Jason that bundles you up snugly after you finish your tea, and reads to you to help you fall back asleep. The painkillers seem to be working, and he knows his voice soothes you.
Attentive!Jason that kisses your forehead and presses the hot water bottle to your sore abdomen once you begin to stir again, in effort to ease the tension.
Attentive!Jason who will, no matter what time it is, get up to get what you need. This boy is so madly in love with you, nothing you could ever need is too much for him. It doesn't matter if he just came back from a gruelling patrol, a fight with Bruce, or recovering from his own ailments. Jason Loverboy Todd is going to bring you tea at 4am. No complaints. No questions asked.
Attentive!Jason who secretly researches new ways to help you when you're hurting, always wanting to learn and improve.
Hii! Sorry idk if your okay with this, if your not, feel free to ignore! <3
So I was wondering if you could do youngest batsib reader, who’s not really part of the family yet? Okay so, they’re a criminal like catwoman, they only steal from people who deserve it and just kind of a troublemaker around Gotham. They have electricity powers. They’re parents died at a young age and they ran away from the orphanage because they didn’t want to get adopted. They’re actually really smart, and know a lot of martial arts to help them get by. Anywaysss, I was wondering if during a place they were trying to rob, blow up for some reason. And it lead to them being knocked out and injured. Someone from the batfamily came across them and instead of turning them into the police, they take them to the batcave and patch em ip before putting them in a cell. They wake up and the batfam interrogates them, they find out they’re a kid and knows their secret identity (because he’s really smart) and after a bit, Bruce offers to take them in, and train them to be a vigilante. Reader is reluctant and doesn’t really trust them but they’re getting really tired of sleeping on the streets so they reluctantly says yes.
My Way Home Is Through You
Note: This was fun to write, thanks for the request anon!
Warnings: Minor undescribed injury, theft, none really, fluffy found family fic.
⛤ BATFAM MASTERLIST ⛤
You slunk along the sidewalks, clinging tightly to the walls as though a small child might do to their mother in a crowd of people. Hiding away in the shadows was nothing new to you, you had been a nobody for years. Constantly running, never settling in one place for too long before you were slinking off again and finding a new corner of Gotham to call your home for a few miserable days before the cycle started again. At first you had tried to cling onto the last shreds of your parents that you had left. You hung onto your name but soon that began to get you into trouble when the orphanages kept trying to pursue you and ‘bring you to a new and loving family’, so it was back to being just another face in the crowd. Just another ordinary kid trying to navigate their way through a big city.
Except…you were more than that. In your time alone you had discovered you had quite a knack for stealth. It started off when the nights became too cold and the growling in your stomach was so overbearing that it drowned out all other senses. You were still small, which you used strongly to your advantage, weaving in and out of the sea of faces before slipping small pieces of food under the hem of your raggedy sleeve that was far too long for you and dangled below your fingers. After that it soon became easy enough to steal other things. Just enough to get by. A ring here, a gold watch there. Small items from the cruel and the unworthy that you could pawn off for a little extra cash.
There was something else about you though that helped out just a little bit. It was one of the reasons that you had spent so long trying to hide away. See, when you were young you discovered that there was something different about you. When you focused hard enough, you could feel the electricity channelling through your veins and sizzling at your fingertips. You learnt to manipulate it, to bend it to your will and it quickly became very useful when picking locks. You used it to fry them seamlessly before sneaking in and if worse came to worse, you could stun the police when they came thundering after you shouting profanities and threats and they ran, never to catch you with your nimbleness. They had tried to set the vigilantes on you more than once and you knew very well that their eyes were always on you, following your every move just waiting for the perfect moment to strike because you had seen them. Sometimes in the uniform. Sometimes not. As much as they tried to be they were much less subtle than they thought.
When you reached the complex it was dark. All of the lamp posts nearby had flickered sporadically before burning out completely, so you hopped up the steps blindly before crouching down in front of the locks. You then outstretched your hand and took a deep breath, letting your body relax to feel the current dance in your veins and settle on your fingertips. You then directed the current towards the lock watching as it fried before swinging open. You darted in pushing it shut behind you and then set to work around the house. It was small and shabby with mould growing in some of the corners by the windows. It crawled up the walls, a darkened stain that emitted a putrid smell when you got a little too close. The floorboards cracked and groaned as you moved around the plot, weaving in and out of the furniture that had been strewn across the room. It was clear that someone had left in a hurry. You were shuffling around the unmade bed, reaching for the safe when you heard it.
Tick. Tick. Ticktick. tickticktick.
The sound was daunting, getting faster and faster as you scrambled to find the source, overturning chairs and throwing them to the floor as though they were nothing then tearing up floorboards. It was too late when you found it ticking away impendingly. The timer blinked by quickly as it neared zero and you were neft with no choice but to try and get as much distance between you and the weapon. The meagre metres you had out between yourself and the bomb hardly made any difference at all as it ignited flinging you across the room. Wood splintered around you as the concrete cracked and crumbled in heaps which you skidded to a halt on. You felt like you were going to hurl as your head thudded against the debris with a sickening crack that made your vision swam before all of the colours merged into one and you knew nothing more but a dark and heavy silence.
~~~
“Move it! Go!”
Nightwing shoved his little brother rather harshly in the shoulder to urge him forwards. Word had just reached them that a small house on the outskirts of the city had suddenly exploded and the number of casualties was currently unknown. Dick always seemed to get a sudden adrenaline rush whenever an emergency came in and not matter how fast he moved he always felt as though he could never get there fast enough even if he was hurtling through the city at an alarming speed.
He had to swallow back his alarm when they skidded to a halt at the scene. There was nothing really left of the building besides a few odd shaped pillars of concrete and pipes that were strong enough to survive the blast. The rest of the building was a dismal load of ash and dust that rose in ribbons as the wind lifted up the pieces that were small enough and carried them away into a cloud of sky.
Nightwing pushed his way through the crowd that had gathered and ducked under the police tape despite their protests. His heart nearly stopped when he inched his way around what used to be a bed but was now a cluster of broken timber buried under a pile of rubble because he spotted your figure sprawled out across the floor. He skidded to the ground and began to pull the pieces of clutter away from you, grimacing at the sight of the blood that came away on his fingers.
Red Hood dropped down beside him just as Dick Grayson brushed some of the dust from your face and sudden recognition washed over him.
“Hood.” He said over his shoulder. “I think you better call B.”
~~~
Your head felt like it was going to explode when you woke up and there was a stabbing pain in your side but when you moved your hand to slide the hem of your stop up you were cut short by a metal handcuff securing you to the wall next to the bed you had been placed in. Shuffling around awkwardly you managed to push yourself up into a sitting position to gauge your surroundings better. The cell you were in although small was rather well lit and surprisingly homely. Too bad you had no intention in staying. You had planned to use your powers to fry the handcuff, but when you tried to summon the electricity you were left high and dry when nothing happened.
“That’s not going to work.” A figure you hadn’t noticed in the corner of the room told you when you began to try again.
Frowning at him, he folded his arms and leaned against the wall. “Power suppressing cuffs.”
Rolling your eyes you slumped defeatedly. You should have figured as much.
“What were you doing in there?” He asked, narrowing his eyes at you from behind his infamous cowl.
“That’s none of your business.”
“I think it is, kid.”
You turned your gaze away from him and picked at the skin around your thumb. “It’s not that I wanted to be in there. It’s what I had to do.”
The vigilante stepped forwards and took a seat next to you. “Go on.”
“I needed the money. I can’t go to anyone so I have no choice but to find my own way around problems. I was gonna pawn the jewellery off. And besides it’s not like the guy owned it in the first place. He was the one that stole it from the jewellers last week.”
“How’d you know that?” Batman frowned. That information had only been revealed recently.
“I get around a lot.”
He pursed his lips. “What else do you know?”
You could have grinned like the cheshire cat right there and then as you began to list things you had learnt.
“I know that you still haven’t caught that guy who escaped from Arkham last month. I know that you’ve all been watching me. Oh and I know that you are Bruce Wayne.”
The man faltered. “What? How?”
“You’re less subtle than you think.”
“Or maybe you’re smarter than you think. What d’you say your name is kid?”
“I didn’t.”
He sighed, watching you in silence until you eventually gave him your name.
“You’re something, Kid. I’ll give you that much.”
“Thank you…?”
“How would you like to stay? We would train you to become a vigilante like us.” The question was so sudden that it made your head spin.
“I can’t ask that of you.” You told him. It was more of an excuse really. You weren’t sure if you could trust him or not.”
“You’re not. I’m offering. A warm place to stay, a family to care for you.”
A smile twinged at the corner of your lips. That was something you had longed for for so long but had never seen that it had slipped to the back of your mind forgotten.
“So, what do you say, Y/N?”
“I think I would like that.”
How You Earned the Respect of the Batfam as Tim’s S/O
Basically headcannons on how the Batfam came to like you
Tim:
Tumblr media
• He always thought that you were kind and intelligent
• You knew your worth and wouldn’t take less
• He had dated some not so nice people in the past and seeing you really raised his standards
• You weren’t friends with him because of his money whether your family had it or not
• You weren’t in it for the fame or the attention and you were understanding of him
• He felt comfortable around you like he could be himself 100% without judgement
• You were a vigilante that hadn’t interacted with the Batfam expect for Tim
• You had come from an intense assassin training, similar to Bruce’s but had escaped when you decided that everything was just messed up
• You went to Gotham and used the powers you had to manipulate officials around you that you had parents and weren’t just living willy nilly by yourself
• That’s when you enrolled in school and met Tim and you guys hit it off quick
• Tim appreciated that he could text or call you at any time and you wouldn’t complain or make him feel bad
• It didn’t take long for you to find out that he was Red Robin
• No one on earth texts you at 2am on the same block every night for weeks on end
• He felt like there wasn’t anyone who would ever be there for him like you
• Tim liked that he had the ultimate companion during patrols, even if you hadn’t been revealed to the rest of his family
• You’re skilled and he doesn’t have to worry about you getting hurt during patrol or missions
Dick:
Tumblr media
• The first time that you two met was when you rushed Tim to the cave because he had gotten badly injured on patrol
• Tim had gotten shot and broken a few ribs and you hauled it to the cave
• Tim wasn’t really conscious during the ride and wasn’t aware that you knew where the cave was/ the entrances
• Everyone was immediately on high alert when some stranger arrived with a near dead Tim
• Dick knew he liked you when you pulled in, rushing Tim into the med bay
• He saw you holding his hand and wiping his hair out of his face while the bullet was pulled from him
• While Tim was waking up from surgery, you didn’t leave his side and continued to hold his hand
• Dick’s heart was melted- one because his brother had a close call, and two because someone was really, really caring for him
• He had seen Tim’s exes and hated them, but he knew that you were different
• You were easy to talk to and respectful to everyone
• You had an agreeable personality and really seemed to care for Tim
• When Tim woke up, he saw how Tim immediately squeezed your hand to make sure that you were there
• After spending time with you that night, seeing how you took care of Tim, and how Tim interacted with you, Dick knew he liked you
Bruce:
Tumblr media
• Bruce saw you coming into the cave like a bat out of hell with Tim and was immediately on guard
• How does this random person know Tim’s secret identity, how do they know where the cave is, WHAT’S WRONG WITH TIMMY MY SWEET CHILD
• After the rush of getting Tim’s situation under control, he also noticed that you never left Tim’s side
• So he knew that you two were in a committed relationship, however, that didn’t mean that he trusted you
• Bruce is a hard case to crack, it really takes some time for him to warm up to anyone
• It was probably a few months into you and Tim hanging out around the manor when you attended a gala with Tim that he really started to trust and or likely you
• Tim was really stressed and didn’t really want to be at the gala
• You were with him the entire time and didn’t leave, even when the paparazzi and media were all being rude
• It’s a very normal thing that the tabloids exploit anything that happens in the Wayne family and you were like fresh blood
• You were poised, collected, calm, and totally indifferent to the comments
• He knew that Tim hated the media and seeing you calm him down and pull him away from some non obligatory meeting with idiots made him feel like he could trust you with Tim
• Not that he’ll admit it
• He notices that whenever you’re around, it seems like Tim has a weight lifted off his shoulders
Alfred:
Tumblr media
• He was the one that helped extract the bullet from Tim’s abdomen so he met you along with everyone else
• I’m sure he knew that Tim was dating someone, but this was the first time he had met that person
• Alfred is a very kind and respectful man
• If he really doesn’t like a person, they know it
• However, if he doesn’t yet know, he treats them formally and without a personal relationship aspect
• He knew that he really liked you when one night, during a busy week of extra crime, you had hauled Tim into bed, forcing him to sleep and shut away his electronics
• Alfred was behind on some housework because of the hectic monitoring schedule and went to bed early
• You stayed up and did the rest of the chores he needed to have completed
• You had always helped out in little ways like cleaning up after yourself (the boys are incapable sometimes lemme tell you, you’re a blessing simply for being normal), you’d make Tim clean his room, and you’d make sure that everything was better than how you found it
• He was so grateful that you had taken time out of rest and decided to help him during a time of need
• It was something very genuine to him since most of the people that the batfam bring home wouldn’t do something like that either out of fear of messing up or indifference
Jason:
Tumblr media
• Jay really wasn’t that difficult to crack
• I mean he’s got a rough exterior but ultimately, he just wants to see Timmy happy
• He knows about Tim’s exes and hates every one of them
• Makes sure that you’re not going to blindside anyone with something you have hidden
• Now what really, really gets him to like you personally was when you had come into the cave with a menagerie of weapons to have cleaned, polished, or sharpened
• Tim was sitting at the computer doing work and you were working on everything else
• He didn’t realize that you were really serious about the vigilante life until he saw you hauling all that mess in
• He realized that you came from a tough background and had grown up and out of it
• These things that happened to you didn’t define who you were and he liked that about you since he had a struggle with that- basically he lives vicariously through you at times
• When he sat down next to you with his gun collection to clean and polish, you struck up conversations on Jane Austen, weapons, crazy childhoods, pop culture classics, and random assassinations that ended up being one of you
• He just thinks that you’re cool and chill and that’s good enough for him
Damian:
Tumblr media
• Also wasn’t really that hard to break
• I mean you were known as the greatest child assassin and he looked up to you when he was little
• Concerning but that’s how it is
• He recognized you immediately and kept a distance
• Star struck Damian Wayne
• Questions how Tim was dating you
• He knew that he really liked you when his pets liked you
• It’s cliché, but the quickest way to Damian Wayne’s cold little heart is through animals
• You helped him train and walk Titus
• Pennyworth liked to sit on your shoulder and survey the house as you walked around
• Damian was the only other person whom Pennyworth would do this with
• Damian was just bamboozled
He also likes that you’re not some mindless idiot
• Most of the socialites that he has to hang out with are zombies who feed off of dollar bills and designer drugs
Cass:
Tumblr media
• Is very, very protective of her family
• She is not one for outsiders and makes sure to know all the weaknesses of new people
• The problem is that she’s having trouble finding your weaknesses
• Tim is obviously one of them, but your stance, your fighting, your regular self just seems indestructible
• She knew personally that this came with tons of training and discipline
• Cass really starts to like you when you notice that she’s not really verbal
• You knew sign language and immediately just start signing to her instead of talking
• Cass really appreciated that you were comfortable getting on her level without second thought
• You watch out for everyone in the family and she feels like she’s not alone in her worries
• You’re basically like a new sibling for her
• You and Cass have a tight bond, the kind of relationship that if you and Tim broke up, you’d still be besties
• She knows that you’re reliable and will never try and use her
• That’s all she wants
Stephanie:
Tumblr media
• I think Steph would be easy to get along with
• Like you really gotta suck for her to not like you
• Steph really likes that you’re a relatable person
• You don’t act like you have a stick stuck up your butt and you’re not dramatically brooding at everything
• Steph really started to like you when one night the two of you stayed up after everyone went to sleep
• You two talked about life over some homemade cookies
• You two talked about your favorite celebrities, movies, pet peeves, tv shows, the reality tv show drama, and anything that you could think of
• Now you’re somehow besties with all of the Wayne girls and it’s great
• She also likes that you can lovingly boss Tim around
• There aren’t many that can do that and it’s pretty apparent
Babs:
Tumblr media
• Alfred was out of town the day that she started to really, really take a liking towards you
• She was always a cynic for some part, but she started to casually warm up to you
• Saw you as Tim’s s/o and not really a friend
• This was until you noticed that she looked really stressed managing the surveillance by herself without the help of Alfred
• You stayed behind for the time that Alfred was gone and helped her run everything
• She was worried at first since she wasn’t sure that you’d be good at computers
• You really happened to impress her though and that won her over
• You were easy to talk to and it also wasn’t awkward when there was just silence and nothing to talk about
• Babs thinks she felt her heart patter when you very sternly talked Jason down from throwing Damian off a building (regular occurrence)
• “JASON PETER TODD IF YOU DON’T PUT THAT CHILD DOWN AT ONCE I WILL PERSONALLY HAUL YOUR ASS TO THE BANK BUILDING AND CATAPULT YOU ACROSS GOTHAM, DO YOU UNDERSTAND”
• She was like 😏
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Busting out the glasses, huh, four eyes?” You taunted with a grin as you glanced at Jason.
Jason squints his eyes at you, his dark-rimmed glasses pushed up his nose. He slowly pushes them up in his hair instead, an embarrassed flush creeping up his neck. His curls curl wildly around the plastic rims of his reading glasses.
“Fuck off.” Jason grumbles as he grabs his wallet from the kitchen counter, slipping it in his pocket. You fail to fight back a small laugh, filling up your thermo-cup with coffee. You close the lid before grabbing your pre-packed tote bag from the counter.
“Let’s go get you your books, nerd.” You nudge Jason’s arm as the two of you exit the kitchen, squeezing into the slim hallway that were your entrance. Slipping on your shoes and jackets, Jason locks the apartment once he closes the door.
“Not a nerd, by the way.” Jason defends himself as the two of you makes your way down the stairs of your apartment building. Your arm was linked with his, your hand mindlessly having a loose hold on his bicep, his own hands shoved in the pockets of his jacket.
“Not a nerd? Babe, we’re going to a book-market in downtown, the opposite end of town, because you’re in search for this one book that you’re oh, so desperate to read.” You tease, grinning as the two of your turn another corner, continuing down the stairs.
“Of Mice and Men, John Steinbeck.” Jason quickly corrects you, clicking his tongue slightly in annoyance as he pushes the front door open, allowing you to slip out first, Jason following closely.
“Yeah,” you roll your eyes, shooting him a knowing smile. “a nerd.” You say, yours and Jason’s steps synchronising as your walk onto the side-walk.
“I’m not a nerd, I seriously don’t know where you got that stupid idea from.” Jason tries to, and without success, defend himself again. You arch your brow at him, a playful smirk on your lips as you fish your phone out of your pocket. It takes a few tries to successfully find what you’re searching for, but once you got it, you’re grinning.
“Aha. Definition of nerd: ‘a person who is extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about a particular subject, especially one of special or niche interest’.” You read out loud, struggling to suppress your wide grin as the two of you come to a stop at a pedestrian crossing sign.
Jason snorts audibly, rolling his eyes. You turn off your phone, slipping it back in your pocket before looking up at Jason.
“Would you not say that you’re rather enthusiastic about books? And is it not a bit niche that a enthusiastic book-reader needs reading glasses?” You say, a wide grin on your face as you tease Jason, his eyes rolling in his skull.
“I do not need these glasses-“ Jason tries to defend again as the light turns green, immediately walking onto the road to reach the opposite side of the side-walk.
“You refuse to read without them.” You quickly say, giving his bicep a comforting squeeze. “Don’t worry, I love you anyways.”
“Love me anyways?”
“I love you anyways, nerd.”
“You’re disgusting.”
Tumblr media
You smile to yourself as you wrap your cold fingers around the ceramic mug in your hand. Your eyes travel over the dips and bulges of your boyfriend. His much needed reading glasses resting right above the arch of his nose, eyes focused on the old pages of the book in his hand. His rough fingers gently flip the pages, his pen restlessly being spun between the fingers of his free hand. He was so focused, his thump thumping at the corner of the page he had reached. It was a downright beautiful sight, gorgeous and an absolutely God-sent view.
Sure, his curls were damp from the rain that was now drumming against the window, and yeah, his glasses were honestly not the cleanest or most straight, but he made it all work, somehow.
Jason was almost half-way through his book already, the pages already fallen victim to Jason’s restless thoughts, quickly scribbled down where there was place.
“You sure you’re not a nerd?”
“Shut up, [your name].”
You can’t suppress the chuckle bubbling past your lips as you bring you mug back to your lips.
“Alright, four eyes, love you.”
Hey babes!! I was wondering if you could maybe write a Jason Todd x reader where the reader gets hit on by a stranger, which leads Jason to become somewhat jealous and a little possessive (a healthy amount of course... 😭). Reader wears a necklace with a J on it which he specifically points out to stranger to sort of prove a point that they are indeed taken, that's when he sort of leaves them alone.. Jason on the other hand has a lot in store for reader, specifically in the bedroom.. breeding kink??? Sorry, my mind is all over the place right now 😭
Sorry it's my first time writing a request I don't really know what I'm doing.. but have a great day!!
Sorry this took so long to write, I've been struggling with writer's block, burnout, and some mental health stuff, also my job sucks ass and is super draining. gotta love retail, huh? anyways I hope you enjoy and also sorry that it is so short. I am trying to clear out my inbox on a random boost of motivation so that I can move onto accepting requests for a new fandom!!
White was creeping into the edge of their blurry vision, and their hands, placed against the full body floor mirror for some semblance of support, were shaking about as much as the rest of their body. Their feet had been kicked apart so that Jason could stand between them as he pistoned in and out of their hole, a rough ebb and flow giving them chance to catch their breath. One of his hands rested on their hip, and the other one on their shoulder. They had been stripped entirely, except for a simply, dainty necklace hanging around their neck. The charming J pendant rested just between their collarbones, and was being forced to swing away from them before falling back onto their clavicle, like a single pendulum taken from a Newton's Cradle and being left to swing alone.
"You look so good like this, sweetheart." Jason drawled, his Gotham accent made thicker by his arousal as he left the 'arr' sound in 'sweetheart' to hang in the air, separate from the rest of the word's syllables. "Such a shame your friend from earlier won't get to ever see you like this, since you're all mine." A whine left their throat as they tilted their head to the side, letting it fall limp. He could feel them clench around him. "Oh, you like that, huh?" He asked, though it sounded more like a taunt. "You like bein' mine, dollface?" His teasing only grew more eager. "You like belongin' to me?" They let out the most pathetic sounding whine of affirmation, which was met with a dark chuckle from their lover, followed by the index and middle fingers of his hand, sliding from their shoulder underneath the chain of the necklace, and pulling it into their neck, until their skin puffed out around it. The sigh they let out was pure filth. "You're so fuckin' desperate to be mine, I'd bet you'd let me breed you right now."
"Fuck! Please, Jay!" They called out, and his hips stilled. He tugged the necklace a tiny bit more, and leaned so that his head was next to theirs, their eyes met in the mirror, and Jason parted his lips.
"Are you sure, hon? 'Cause I will, and at that point, there'll be no goin' back, you know? I'd fill ya until I was sure it took, and then I'd go out and buy you a ring first thing in the mornin.' You sure you want that, Y/n? For us to have a family? For you to really be mine, forever?" They nodded breathlessly. "'S not enough, Darlin,' I need to hear ya say it, I'm not gonna take any chances here." His voice was rushed and breathy, and with all of his emotion, his accent made him near unintelligible, but they knew him, knew what he was asking for. They turned their head, fighting against the necklace cutting into them near painfully, and moved one of their hands off of the mirror to place on Jason's cheek.
"I'm sure, Jason. I want to be yours completely, I want it to be us forever." The softest smile graced his face, as his eyes became visibly glossy, and releasing the necklace, letting its pendant rest gently on their skin, he moved his head down to slowly kiss them as he began to move his hips again.
I meant for this to be kinky I swear, I fully blame my shitty day for how fluffy this is. lmk if you want me to write another where its rougher or something.
and baby, if you knew
Tumblr media
word count: 2.1k
warnings: mentions of the night before (?), morning after, hickies (?)
summary: oh the horrors of getting caught the morning after (pt2 of saying we're just friends)
Tumblr media
You stare at yourself in the mirror, blinking incredulously. (Partially out of pure shock, partially because sleeping with your contacts on was NOT a smart decision on your end)
Holy fuck, Tim got mouthy with you.
You tilt your neck to brush your fingers over the hickeys, gawking at the way it trails down your neck and collar to your chest, the purple popping on your skin. Sure, you weren't half as pale as Tim was, but hello? You didn't even bring concealer. You weren't expecting him to take you to the Wayne Manor.
"Tim." You swallow, grimacing.
Tim raises a brow, shirt pulled halfway over his head.
"How many hickeys did you give me? Do you have a whisk? Do you have ice? Are you secretly a vampire???"
"One question at a time, lovely." he mumbles. "Seven. There's a whisk and ice downstairs. I am not secretly a vampire, although I can see why you'd guess that."
You blink at him. "Do you have a collared shirt?"
"Just settle for one of my shirts for now." He pulls the shirt over his head, tossing you the other one in the bed.
"Please tell me it's not sheer."
"It's not."
"Thank GOD you're rich." You mumble. "It's a blessing to have non-sheer white shirts."
"Yeah, I get that." He mumbles. "Come on. Alfred called us for breakfast a little ago."
"Which one of your siblings are here?"
"We'll see." Tim hums, shutting the door to his room. (All of them are downstairs, likely. They were probably having a post-valentine debriefing like they usually do. Bruce was not spared from it.)
You duck behind Tim when you notice everyone having breakfast.
"You said we'll see! Are none of them staying with the people they were out with last night?!"
"It happens every year." Tim hums, holding his hand out for you. "Come on. Don't do the walk of shame."
"Seriously. I run a stan account for you and live in my dorm. I'm practically a hermit." You deadpan. "I am NOT cut out to be meeting your family this early in the morning."
"Master Tim, young miss. Are you ready for breakfast? We are having pancakes."
"Just kidding I would kill for pancakes right now." You mumble, following behind Tim as he sits you next to him.
All eyes are on you as you adjust the collar of your shirt, the tag scratching against your skin, the hickeys on your neck visible. You thank Alfred as he places a plate before you, and you start at the chocolate chip pancakes. Holy shit, fuck the eyes on you, this was heaven.
"Alfred, do you have a recipe book?" You blink at him, eyes wide in admiration.
"Which recipe would you like, young miss?"
"Oh, all of them if possible. I'd love to be able to cook half as well as you can." You hum, taking another bite of your food. "Do you have a digital copy?"
"Unfortunately, all of it is on paper or in here." He smiles, tapping his brain. "But I am more than willing to provide you with any recipes you may like."
"Mm!" You shove the last piece of the pancake into your mouth, swallowing as you get up. "Tim, do you have a laptop? I want to type a couple recipes down and transcribe what's on paper—"
"Pull open the drawer to your left." He hums.
You pull it open, blinking at him.
"There's a false bottom in it. One of my spare laptops is in it. The password is a combination of letters." He hums.
"With significance?"
"Yes."
"Oh, then I know an approximation, then." You hum, working your finger into the side as you prop it open, pulling his laptop out. "Is it our birthdays?"
"Wait, how did she–" Dick's cut off when you manage to open it on your first try.
"Alright. I'm gonna go! I'll be with Alfred if you need anything." You smile.
"She just?" Duke blinks incredulously. "Did she just hack open your laptop on her first try? Is she in compsci like you?"
"English." Tim grabs a couple pancakes, cutting off a piece of butter. "Creative writing, technically."
"Oh, is she making her own major?"
"Yes." Tim hums. "I don't actually know how she guessed that it would be our birthdays since I only changed it a little while ago. It'd be easier to open if it was just our birthdays combined. Maybe she was stalking me."
"Or, maybe all the years of running a Robin Twitter account finally paid off." Jason shrugs. "She's quite a big writer on the internet too, you know?"
"Yeah." Tim hums. "She's quite the character. Have you read her works?"
"I have." Damian speaks up. "Her writing resembles poetry, pulling on the strings of your heart and snapping them at moments you least expect."
"You've read her works?!" Tim raises a brow at Damian. "That's surprising."
"She resembles the poets."
"She'd love to hear that come out of your mouth for sure." Tim mumbles. "Anything else I should know?"
"She covered me for change once while I went to buy cup noodles." Cass mumbles.
"I'm mutuals with her on Twitter?" Steph points.
"Okay, that's not the point. Timmy." Dick deadpans. "Did you sleep with her last night?"
"Sex or just plain sleeping? Because we did both—"
"I DIDN'T GET TO GIVE YOU THE SHOVEL TALK!" Dick cries. "Okay, when a man and a—"
"Dick, I'm well over into the ages of a legal adult." Tim sighs. "Besides, I'm like seventy percent sure that you gave me the shovel talk when you first found out I was dating Ari in high school. Also, I got one from my dad and Bruce, so I think I'm good."
"Oh, right." Dick mumbles. "But still."
Steph pauses. "Does she want a whisk?"
"She was asking for one earlier." Tim hums.
"We'll go help." Cass mumbles, getting out of the seat, dragging Steph.
"Okay, Tim. Is she the one who was making you all red and blushy during Christmas?" Dick slides closer to him, throwing an arm around his shoulder.
"Yes." Tim sighs, batting Dick's hand away. "She was."
"How'd you ask her out?"
"Told her if she had nothing to do on Valentine's, then she could stick with me and I could plan a date." Tim reaches for another pancake.
"And she agreed?" Jason snorts. "Wow. She's way out of your league."
"Yeah, but at least I got B's absolutely insane ability to pull." He mumbles. "Pulled way out of my league, for sure."
"If you fumble her I fear the things that will happen to you, Drake." Damian clicks his tongue.
"Do I... know her?"
"Duke," Damian sighs. "You're smarter than this."
"He's messing with you right now." Jason pours himself another cup of coffee.
"What's your relationship with her." Tim deadpans.
"She used to peer review my poems." He hums. "It didn't click until Damian showed me her information this morning, though."
"You just let them go through my girlfriend's personal information?!" Tim finally looks at Bruce, who only gives him a shrug.
"No harm in knowing a little more about your girlfriend."
"I swear, if you bring her in on the vigilantism—"
"That's not happening. I can promise that." Bruce glances at his almost empty mug. "Does she know?"
"She called me out for being Red Robin last night in the car." Tim sighs. "Besides, it'd be strange if she didn't notice immediately how similar Red Robin and I's voices are."
"She's been running your account for how long... now?" Bruce motions for Jason to pass him the coffee.
"Since middle school, so like..." Tim pauses. "Give or take seven years."
"That's a long time." Dick mumbles. "My longest-running fanpage is only six-ish years."
"If you count the Gotham Gazette, then I've been running for the longest." Bruce snorts. "Is she the one?"
"I think she is." Tim smiles. "And if she's not..."
"Then I will personally see the end of your life, Drake." Damian grumbles. "I shall have mother adopt her and have her write poetry for me in exchange for a living space and food. She shall be the equivalent of a court poet except to mother and I."
"I honestly think she wouldn't turn that down." Tim grimaces.
"Is she that desperate?"
"She's joked about sleeping with a millionaire to make some money." Tim grimaces. "Something something desperate situations call for desperate measures."
"She would love it in mother's mansion, then." Damian hums, sipping on his tea. "I shall have her write a poem for your death. It shall be my last mercy."
Tim grimaces. "What if she breaks up with me?"
"Then you're in the fault, obviously." Jason mumbles, looking at his phone.
"So it's my fault regardless of what happens?"
"Listen, her tweets are unhinged. You can't say you like crazy girls and then get annoyed when you date one and she acts insane." Jason grumbles.
"He's got a point, Timmers." Dick hums. "I hope it works out for the best, regardless of the ending."
"Twenty bucks they are endgame." Damian mumbles.
"Alfred bet ten that Tim would pop the ring."
"Ugh, come on. You know no one out-bets Alfred." Dick groans. "Did he set up the jar?"
"He did. This morning." Duke hums. "I put my bet in too."
"Come on–"
"You can't say shit when you bet on all of our relationships and pretty much came out unscathed in all of them." Jason glares. "Shut it."
Tim rolls his eyes, surrendering himself to the idea that his relationship would get bet on.
"Tim, can I marry your sisters?" You come out of the kitchen, eyes sparkling.
"We're dating." He sighs. "Pretty bird—"
"EWWWWWWW" A mixture of faked hurls and gags are heard in unison as Tim rolls his eyes.
"Ignore them. Why do you want my sisters?"
"The hickeys are all," You pull your shirt down too to show your cleavage, the hickeys no longer visible, "gone! Your sisters are really good at this."
"Yeah..." Tim sighs, reaching to pull your shirt back up. "Steph isn't my sister, by the way."
"Oh, yes, I know." You smile. "After all, if she was, it'd be strange that you've dated her before."
Tim chokes on the air at your statement.
"Besides, she's my mutual." You hum. "I also got Alfred's recipes, by the way." You hum, smile on your face. "I also got his chocolate chip cookie recipe, though I need to figure out what the secret ingredient is."
"A dash of vanilla extract." Tim lowers his voice. "Don't tell the rest of the family."
"Got it." You give him a thumbs up.
"Do you cook?" Damian speaks up.
"I do! Mainly ethnic foods, since there isn't much of that here in Gotham." You mumble. "Got any good Chinese places?"
"Oh, there's this place on Seventh Ave and Jester." Bruce speaks up. "I used to get dim sum there. It's only open from eight to twelve, and you need to get in via reservation. Feel free to borrow my name whenever. Just make sure to invite me."
"Uncle Dan's, right?" You beam. "I went there a while back with another friend, but I miss like... the dim sum that's messy and chaotic in the morning."
"Oh, then try the one on Lightbeam." Dick pauses. "Ah, what was the other street?"
"Oh, that one's good." Duke agrees. "Sam Woo's Dim Sum and BBQ."
"I've had that too!" You smile. "They're good, just quite a while from the university."
"If you really want something good," Cass speaks up from behind you, "try Jin."
"Jin?"
"It's smaller, but it's family-run, and it's been doing business in Gotham for three generations already." Cass hums. "They're called Jin, but the Chinese character for gold. They're right by Gotham U too. On the corner by Circle K."
"The sketchy looking alley??" You blink.
"Yes, but their dumplings are to die for." She pauses. "And they sell in bulk if you want to boil any in your dorm."
"Tim, I want your sister."
"Pretty bird, we just started going out." He clicks his tongue.
"Tim, if you break her heart, I will date her." Cass blinks.
"You can visit her when she stays in mother's mansion."
"Hm?" You turn to blink at Damian.
"Ignore him—"
"Should you and Drake break up, I have already arranged your living arrangements, should you agree to it."
"And what might they be?" You hand the laptop to Tim, pointing at the document you shared with yourself.
"With my mother. Your only job shall be to write poems and short stories to entertain her."
"Living and writing for the Talia Al Ghul? Count me in." You sigh dreamily.
"Alright." Tim shuts the laptop after changing the password. "We're going to get going before her roommate calls the cops on her."
"Oh, right!" You mumble. "It was a pleasure meeting you all! I hope to see you again sometime?"
"Tim, send her number in the chat later!" Dick calls as Tim pulls you out.
"Sorry, they're quite embarrassing." Tim mumbles.
"They're warm." You smile. "I like it."
"Yeah?"
"Yes."
Tim sighs in relief at the look of fondness on your face. Right.
You'll be fine.
Jason Todd x Reader
"Thought I was gonna lose you"
"Oh, baby, you can't get rid of me that easily"
Tumblr media
You slammed into the hospital room where the nurse told you your boyfriend was at. You received a call from Dick almost 15 minutes ago while you were reading Jason's annotated Pride and Prejudice book, smiling at his little comments at the side. Once you heard "Jason" and "Hospital" in the same sentence, you quickly bookmarked the novel and ran out the door.
The four Titans accompanying Jason; Dick, Gar, Kori and Rachel, turn to you, but your main focus was on Jason. His eyes closed, bandages all over his torso, IV needles stuck all over and an oxygen mask over his face. Your heart beated faster, pushing the Titans out of the way to get a closer look of your lover, gently caressing his face.
"We were told he's in a coma," Dick immediately says. "There was a messy encounter with Deathstroke and-"
"And Jason jumps head in first like always," Kori interrupts, arms crossed, annoyed expression on her face, staring down at the boy.
"We don't know when he'll wake up," Gar says quietly.
You don't reply. All you can do is lean your forhead against his, praying that he'll wake.
You're not part of the Titans, but you've known Jason for years and he'd entrusted you with his identity, and soon after, neither of you could hide your feelings towards one another for long.
"He's going to wake up. He'll wake up soon," was all you could say, just barely above a whisper.
"C'mon," Dick quietly says, motioning for the Titans to leave the two of you alone. When the three members leave, Dick places his hand on your shoulder, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
"He was knocked out but.. he was calling your name when he got out of the ER," Dick tells you. "He's strong. He'll wake up."
When Dick leaves, you pull a chair up beside the bed, sitting down and laying your head beside Jason's torso, holding his hand.
And that's how it remained for the next few weeks. Jason didn't show any signs of movement but you still stayed in that chair, only getting up to use the bathroom. Even with Dick's authoritative commands, telling you to go home and that he'll watch over Jason, you didn't move an inch.
Gar was the only other person to visit Jason, and occasionally dropping of some food for you, while the others focus on missions.
"He never stops talking about you, y'know," Gar suddenly says, placing a paper bag full of greasy food on the small table beside you. "Training, fighting, debriefing, he's always bringing you up. 'Do you think Y/n would be impressed with this move?', 'I have to go, I want to hang out with Y/n', 'Don't tell Y/n I got stabbed'. I don't remember the last time he talked about anything other than you," Gar tells you, repeating all the things Jason had told him about you.
Your eyebrows scrunched together and lifted your head up to look at Gar as he handed you a burger. "He got stabbed? When??" You asked, accepting the burger.
Gar lightly laughed at the fact that you know Jason can take a punch or a stab, but would still be concerned even if Jason stubbed his toe.
"It was a month ago. He's more than fine now- well. The wound, I mean," He corrects, knowing Jason's current situation is definitely not more than fine.
You sighed, looking back at your boyfriend. "Thanks, Gar," You say, a smile tugging at your lips as your grip tightened on Jason's hand.
"For...," Gar's head tilted, confused what you were thanking him for while quickly stealing one of your fries.
You shrugged one of your shoulders. "For being his friend. He's told me some of the stuff he's gone through. How some of the other guys treat him. Without a shadow of a doubt he's wreckless and impulsive. But he's smart. And strong and brave. So.. thanks.. I guess. For believing that he is all of those things."
Gar sighed and gave you a lopsided hug. "Of course. He's my teammate amd my friend."
You leaned into Gar's hold, hand on his arm, giving it an accepting and gentle squeeze.
~
You remained by Jason's side a month and two weeks later, only leaving the room to go back to your house, asking Gar to look after Jason while grabbing a pair of extra clothes, plus a hoodie and leather jacket you stole from Jason.
You fell asleep, hugging Jason's arm, not noticing how his other arm went over his body and rested on your head, stroking your hair.
"Wakey wakey, gorgeous," You heard a raspy, groggy voice call out to you. You blinked twice before processing that someone was calling out to you. Your eyes widen as you jolt up from you seat and saw Jason smiling up at you.
"Don't tell me you've been sleeping in that position for long, babe, that could not be comfortable," Jason tried to joke. You didn't even realised what he said. You were still processing that he's awake.
A few seconds of realisation later, you start breaking down, tears cascading down for face and sobs choking out your throat.
"Oh, mama, c'mere," He whispers, weakly holding his arms out. You lunge forward, but careful not to lean over his bandages. You sobbed in his bare shoulder as he shushed you, stroking your hair.
"You scared me," you whimpered.
"I know, baby. 'm sorry, shh it's okay, I'm okay." he assures, pressing a light kiss to the crown of your head.
"I missed you," you mumbled, your finger tracing shapes along his skin.
"Missed you too, doll," he responded. "I heard you, y'know. Rereading Pride and Prejudice, saying how stupid my comments were. Asking me to wake up. Talking to Gar 'n all," he quietly explains.
"Thought I was gonna lose you"
"Oh, baby, you can't get rid of me that easily," he tried joking once more, this time earning a skicker from you as you left a soft, lingering kiss on his collerbone.
Jason shifted to one side of his bed, leaving a wider space beside him. He patted the empty space next to him, telling you to lie with him.
"Jay, I can’t, your bandages-"
"They'll be fine, I promise," he interrupts you. "Just come here with me. I'll heal faster if I'm holding you," he says with a cheeky smile dancing across his face.
You roll your eyes, but as much as you wanted him to have space to heal properly, the selfish part of you took over and slid in beside him, craving his touch that had you starved for too long.
You lay your head on his arm and you gently wrap your arm over his waist as Jason's arm cradles your head, the other draping over your body, pulling you closer, leaning in and connecting his lips with yours. It was a deep and hungry kiss that you both missed as you tiredly nuzzle your fave against his arm.
"Get some sleep, beautiful," Jason says. "You need some proper sleep," he kisses your forhead.
You hummed in response, quickly falling into a quick, comforting slumber, Jason closing his eyes shortly after.
Bonus:
After what felt like eternity, you finally slept, better yet, in the arms of the love of your life, knowing he's okay.
Tumblr media
After finally getting a break from missions, the Titans made their way unto the hospital to see how Jason's doing.
"If Jason hadn't start the mission on his own, he wouldn't even be in this state," Rachel ranted to Dick, the two of them carrying plastic bags full of take away.
"Definitely taking a toll on Y/n," Kori says. "That kid's seen better days"
The group stopped in their tracks, looking through the window of Jason's room, seeing the couple in each other's embrace.
"Jason's awake!" Gar exclaims.
Dick smiled to himself and started shooing the Titans back.
"Alright, Jason's okay, we'll come back later when he and Y/n wake up". He said, smiling once more at the sight of the two.
Being stood up is awkward. It probably wouldn’t be so awkward at some 24-hour raggedy diner, because lots of people eat alone at places like that. But, no one, literally no one, goes to eat alone at a five-star restaurant. Being alone in a place like this automatically makes others assume that you got stood up.
To be fair, your behavior only confirms their suspicions. You fidget constantly, looking around the restaurant for any sign of him. You check your phone countless times. You reread your text messages to see if you got the timing wrong. The waiter passes by…again. There are only so many times they can refill your glass of water before it becomes downright humiliating.
“Ugh- no,” You groan as you place your hands on your forehead to hide your face. You can feel people at the neighboring tables stare at you. The hair on your arms and neck prickle in embarrassment. How much longer do you wait for him? Enough time has already passed to make you assume that he’s either forgotten or is in some sort of life-or-death situation that makes him incapable of giving you a heads up. If he hasn’t arrived by now, he probably won’t come.
Defeated, you wave the waiter over and explain the situation. Or a shortened version of it.
“You know what? I was actually supposed to meet someone here, and uh- well, you see-, they, uh- got into an accident, so…”
You left the restaurant that night with an empty belly and abandonment issues. You pull out your phone and begin to type out a text message to Tim.
Guess you’re not coming haha.
You hit the backspace button on your keyboard. No, don’t say that.
You stupid son of a bit-
Nope, not that either.
You sigh and place your phone back. You’ll text him later that night.
You recall him sweetly saying just a few days prior, “I’ll take you anywhere you wanna go, my love.” He nuzzled your neck before leaving hot kisses all around your neck, face, and lips. His voice was laced with honey. But after being stood up, you realize his voice was laced with something else: arrogance.
He knew you would become putty in his hands. He knew that you could never stay mad at him for very long. That’s the kind of effect Tim Drake had of you. You could never say no to him. It truly was a terrible cycle. You oftentimes would wonder why you and Tim could never work it out. You’d give him a chance, and he’d eventually shatter your heart. You would become infuriated and hateful. He would apologize so sincerely that you had no choice but to run back into his arms. Then, he’d break his promises again and leave you devastated. You two would break things off again, but eventually, you’d go back to wondering why you two couldn’t just work it out. As if the answer wasn’t right in front of you already.
What Tim couldn’t fathom was that he was the endgame for you. You wanted him so badly it hurt. You wanted the bare minimum from him, because you knew that’s all Tim could give you. And you would be satisfied with that. Except Tim could only give you the bare minimum for so long. Eventually, even the bare minimum would be too much for him. And for some reason, you just took it. Because you loved him. You wanted to settle down with him and have kids with this man.  And you believed that he loved you, too. And love is supposed to overcome any obstacle, right? Right?
You weren’t so sure anymore. There was no denying it, you were getting older. Your family was sending you hints about starting a family of your own. More and more of your friends were getting married or moving in with their significant others or having children. Everyone seemed to be moving forward in their relationships. And yet you struggled to even get Tim to go out on a date with you.
Was it you? Were you the problem? Were you not understanding enough? Tim had so much on his plate. He was the least likely of the Batboys to have downtime. Bruce and Tim were so alike in that way. They worked themselves to the bone, neglecting anyone who dared to care about them. Like they say: like father, like son.
You naively thought you could change Tim, at least. And you did! Sort of. Temporarily. Your relationship was very hot and cold. When it was hot, you were an inseparable pair. But when you were cold, it was as if you didn’t even exist to Tim.
Your contemplation of your relationship continued as you reach your home. You weren’t even mad anymore. You just felt incredible loneliness. What’s a home if you have no one to share it with?
It takes guts to admit that you want to have what everyone else seems to have. To fall in line with the crowd. You want someone to come home to. You want someone to wake up to. You want someone who you’ll fight with. You want someone to make love with. You want someone to make you feel like your relationship actually exists in the real world.
You pull out your phone once more. What should you say?
Hey, should we reschedule?
No! That doesn’t feel right. It felt inauthentic to brush over the pain you were feeling. You hit backspace and begin again.
Tim, I love you so much, but I can’t keep doing this with you. My heart hurts. My heart’s bleeding for you. I’d die for you, but I’m dying because of you now. Please tell me how to fix things. Please tell me what I can do to make you love me. I love you. I don’t want to continue things like this. I’m begging-
You stop typing. Tears make your cheeks their new home. What is wrong with you?! Where was your self-respect? You love Tim, but where was the love you had for youself?
You look outside your window. You see the moonlight stream in. You knew that within just a few hours, the moon will be replaced by the sun, and then the process will be repeated the next day, and the day after. You hear birds squawking outside. You know they’ll migrate south during the winter, and then come back north during the summer, and they’ll continue the process for generations. You look at the grass outside. You know it’ll dry up in the winter, and regrow in the spring, and continue that pattern.
What you didn’t know was is Tim would be yours tomorrow. Hell, you weren’t even sure if he was yours tonight. If he was ever yours to begin with. You always wanted to be an adaptable person, always ready for life’s unpredictability. But sometimes, it’s nice to have things to look forward to. It’s nice to be able to live on the safe side. It’s nice to not have to live on the edge, unsure if you going to be loved or discarded that day.
It’s also nice to put yourself first for once. It’s nice to protect your heart and your sanity, even if it means losing the person you thought you’d grow old with.
The sun comes shining through the one portion that the curtain doesn’t cover and hits Tim’s eyes. He groans, upset that though his eyes are closed, he can feel the heat of the sun. It felt like he slept for two seconds last night. He groggily sat up on his bed, blinking slowly.
Coffee. His first conscious thought of the morning was about his need for coffee. He worked all through the night trying to crack a particularly difficult case. He felt like his efforts were meaningless though, as he didn’t get any closer to solving it. He lifts his arms above his head and stretcccchhhhesssss.
Pop! “Ooh, yeah, that felt good,” he says to himself as his back joints pop. He takes a few moments for himself and enjoys his solitude.
He reaches to grab his undisturbed phone. He hasn’t looked at it for almost an entire day. Correction: he didn’t have the time to look at his phone for almost an entire day.
He has so many notifications. Some from friends. Some from family. He’ll read them later. Just as he’s about to put his phone away, he notices the notifications from you.
Okay, he’ll reply to you, but then he must go back to the Batcave and work.
He clicks on your name and immediately, dread strikes through him. He sees the several messages you sent him last night about your date.
He smacks his forehead with his palm, as your messages remind him of the date you two were supposed to go on yesterday. He knows he messed up. Again. For the billionth time.
Hi ❤️ I’m about to reach the restaurant. Can’t wait to see youuuuuu ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’m sitting at a table that’s towards the back, go left when you enter
Lemme know when you’re close ❤️❤️❤️
Hey, what’s your ETA?
Timmy! Did something come up? Are you coming?
I called, but you didn’t pick up. Please let me know if you’re still coming
Are you coming or not? Everyone’s staring at me
Please pick up
Tim, please don’t do this to me
Once he’s done reading your message, he makes a promise to himself and to you that he’ll make up for it. You’ll understand. After all, this isn’t the first time this has happened. You were angry before, but you got over it. You always do.
He clicks on your name and calls you. He’s already formulating an apology in his head. He knows just what to say to break down your inhibitions and your reservations about him. Just as he puts the phone to his ear, just as his apology has already made its way from his brain down to the tip of his tongue, just when he hears a ring and he thinks the line connects and that you’ll answer, he hears an automated voice.
“I’m sorry, but the number you have dialed has been disconnected or is no longer in service.”
Two of The Same ~pt.2~
Pairings: Tim Drake//Red Robin x gn!Reader
Pronouns: I/They/Them/Me
Fandom: DC Universe
Warnings: Mentions of pain, use of language, mentions of blood and violence
Summary: Every night a masked vigilante comes into Y/N's bedroom, and to their knowledge, it's to "clean his wounds." But the visits go deeper than that when underneath that mask, unbeknownst to Y/N, is their classmate, Tim Drake, who has a huge crush on them.
~Tim’s 3rd person pov~
“And then I just kissed them, Dick! I kissed them! And they kissed me back! I cannot believe it! I can’t even fathom it! I’ve had a crush on Y/N for years, and it’s finally happening!” Tim laid back on the med chair, while Dick was stitching up the damage that Killer Croc had done to Tim’s chest.
“Honestly, dude! I’m proud of you! I’m glad that you’re finally making some progress with them! I told you that when you’d start gaining the confidence to talk to them, they’d fall for you immediately! You just have that kinda charm, man.” Dick smiled as he cut the last stitch, the wounds all taken care of. “They’re also one hell of a nurse too!” He added, patting Tim on the shoulder. Tim yelped.
“Dude! That’s my broken one!” He yelled, Dick winced, feeling bad immediately.
“Sorry dude. We still need to set it back into place. You broke it real good, which means that it’s going to hurt like hell when I fix it.” Dick walked over to the right side of the chair, holding Tim’s arm.
“If you think about it, I didn’t break my arm. It was actually the wall that Mad Hatter pushed me into that did it.” Tim replied, a sly smile on his face.
“You defeated Mad Hatter and then immediately fought and won against Killer Croc? In that state? Dude! That’s badass.” Dick let go of Tim’s arm, and got up to grab a cast to keep it in place once he sets it.
“Yeah. I’m just thankful that Y/N’s apartment was so close by. I don’t think that even if I contacted you guys, you would have been there in time. They really helped out a lot.” Tim’s eyes followed Dick as he grabbed the cast and a sling off of the counter.
“We would have been there in time, dude. But I’m glad you had some Y/N time before Dami got there. Sorry he disrupted you two, but we were really worried for you, ya know.” Dick walked back to Tim, placing the cast on the table near him.
“Sorry about that. I know I should have checked in, I guess I just really wanted to see Y/N before the end of patrol. It’s sorta something that makes my nights on patrol better.” Tim inhaled a deep breath of air as Dick lifted up his arm again, touching around for the spot that was broken out of place.
“Yeah well they really got to see you, huh? Guess they weren’t expecting to know that Tim Drake has all those muscles, right?” Tim was about to answer when Dick found the broken bone, Tim groaned. “Found it.” Dick laughed nervously. “Just keep talking. It’ll keep your mind occupied while I do this.” He stared at the arm, scared to hurt the boy in front of him, but he knew what he had to do.
“I mean. They don’t really know I’m Tim Drake yet. I haven’t really told them. Haven’t had the opportunity to yet.” Tim closed his eyes tightly, unsure of when his brother was going to pop his arm back into place. Dick nodded in agreement.
“Yeah that’s understandable, I’d probably keep it a secret too until-” He stopped mid sentence, shocked at what Tim had just said. Without thinking, he immediately snapped his arm back into place. Tim yelled in pain. “What!?” Dick asked loudly. Tim seethed in pain, rubbing his swollen arm.
“Ow, ow, ow…” Tim groaned. Dick just stared at Tim.
“Y/N doesn’t know that you’re Red Robin?” He asked, grabbing the cast off of the table.
“No! Of course they don’t.” Tim breathed out, trying to calm down the pain that was shooting from his arm down the rest of his body. He could feel his heart beating in the arm.
“Dude. I thought they knew who you were! This makes everything so much harder.” Dick started to attach the cast to Tim’s arm.
“How? Y/N kissed me back, didn’t they?” Tim asked, leaning up on the chair. Dick gave his brother a sympathetic look.
“Tim. Y/N kissed Red Robin, not Tim Drake.” Tim furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.
“Yeah, but I’m Red Robin…” Tim trailed off, understanding now what Dick was talking about. His heart shattered into a million pieces.
“You’re right. Y/N doesn’t know that I’m Red Robin. They only know that I’m Tim Drake, and they even said themselves that they aren’t that close to me.” Even though Tim had just kissed them earlier, this was no longer a victory.
Y/N had fallen for the heroic and extroverted Red Robin. Not the smart, ambiverted Tim Drake.
“I fucked up.”
~~~~~~~
~Y/N’s pov~
I had finished Tim’s essay weeks ago, and I hadn’t seen him at school once.
Not until today, that was.
He had come to school with his arm in a cast, and still had a bright smile on his face. I don’t think I had seen him this stress free since the beginning of the second term.
I don’t know how he was doing it, because if I had my arm in a sling, I’d personally be the most stressed I’d ever been. But Tim always wore it well for being one of Gotham’s busiest workaholic bachelors.
But I decided that I wouldn’t give him his assignments until our Chemistry class after lunch. We sat across from each other, so that was the perfect time to give them to him.
I walked with my friend Jackie after lunch since we both shared Chem together. However, she ditched me halfway through because she saw her boyfriend walking down the hallway, and excused herself to walk with him.
Traitor.
I walked directly into class, and as early as ever, was Tim. He sat in his chair on his phone, typing away. Probably something to do with Wayne Enterprises. As always.
“Hey, Tim.” I greeted, sitting down at my desk. He looked up at me.
“Uh. Hi Y/N.” He said after a second. I reached into my bag to get out the red folder in which I had kept his assignments from the weeks that he had been gone.
“I hope you don’t mind. I was going to mail the homework to your house, but I decided not to since I didn’t know if you were sick or something. But I did them for you.” I handed him the folder, brushing our fingers as we did so. I saw his face turn red.
“Oh. Thanks. You really didn’t have to do that. That was really nice of you.” He thanked, opening the folder.
“Nah! It’s alright! I haven’t had anything better to do. I kind of just sit in my room all night anyways.” I hide my smile as Red Robin comes to my mind.
I hadn’t seen him for about a week, though. But the thought of him made my heart flutter. True to his promise, he sent Nightwing up to my window, and he gave me a little update. He also gave me a cute little necklace with a bird on it. If it pressed the beak, then it would immediately send a signal to the nearest bat-person and they’d come to my side.
“Red Robin wanted to give this to you himself, but I told him I could handle it.” Nightwing said as he handed it to me.
I didn’t know that I was holding the necklace until Tim spoke.
“That’s a pretty necklace you have there. Is it new?” He asked. I nodded.
“Yeah. A close friend of mine gave it to me.” I paused for a moment, knowing that Nightwing and I weren’t that close. “Well he didn’t give it to me. His friend gave it to me because he couldn’t.” I sighed in defeat. Tim laughed.
“I know what you mean. That’s nice of him.” He continued to smile as he looked down at the completed work that I had handed him.
Jackie came in right after the bell rang. I stared at her as she took her seat next to me.
“Dude you better be glad we have a sub. MacFannan would have beat your ass if she saw you come in late.” I told her. Jackie smiled.
“Well what she doesn’t know won’t hurt her. Besides, I’m leaving in like 5 minutes anyway.” My jaw dropped.
“Dude, what? Be for real.” I whispered.
“I’m being for real! My dad is letting me out of school early so that we can start packing for our family vacation! You’d be let out early with me too, but you chose to stay in Gotham for a week. Lord knows why you’d choose to stay.” She explained, talking with her hands. I giggled.
“Well, no matter how much I love you, I love my bedroom more. And besides, we went to Florida with my family last year. I can skip out on one trip.” I reminded her. She sighed.
“You love your bedroom more than your best friend? How dare you.” I shrugged smugly.
“It’s what’s in my bedroom that counts.” Jackie probably thought I meant my bed, or my laptop, or my desk. But I really meant the boy that would come in every night.
That’s the real reason I stayed. I had no way of contacting him, and in case he came while I was gone, I didn’t want to go another week without seeing if he was okay.
The classroom phone started ringing while the sub was taking attendance, and Jackie turned towards me. “That’s me!” She said, enthusiastically. I smiled back to her.
“Jackie?” The sub looked around confused, and Jackie raised her hand. The sub nodded. “Yeah, I’ll send her down. Thanks, bye.” The sub gestured to Jackie, and she hugged me.
“I’ll text you when I get home. I’ll see you sometime next week!” And with that, she picked up her stuff, and walked out of the room.
Traitor.
I followed soon after her when the sub had finished taking attendance and needed someone to hand the attendance slip in to the office.
“Missed me already?” Jackie asked as I caught up with her down the hallway. I laughed.
“Totally. Who wouldn’t miss you?” I asked her.
“Awh how sweet of you.” She said as she opened the office door for me. “M’bestie.” She joked. I nodded to her.
“Thank you, you sweet soul. I could pinch your cheeks.” I joked as she closed the door behind me. She wasn’t going into the office, and instead had to go to the door across from where the office was located, as that was where one of the exits for the school was.
We waved to each other as she turned around and walked out of the school.
I smiled at our attendance secretary as I handed her the slip. I turned back around, and exited the door. I pulled out my phone, and pulled up instagram. I skimmed past a few pages until I came across Tim’s.
A photo of him sitting at a cafè in a signature brown sweater, chewing on a breakfast cake, with a dopey smile on his face.
It was kind of cute. I stared at it for a while, adoring the dorky smile. I liked the post before I entered the classroom, closing out of insta.
When I walked in, the sub was on her phone, scrolling through what I suppose was her exes instagram page.
I noticed that people around the classroom were in groups of 2-4, and I sat down at my desk, grabbing my laptop out of my bag, and looking around for a moment.
“Are we supposed to work in groups?” I asked myself aloud by accident.
“We don’t have to. But if you know MacFannan, she usually pushes us to.” Tim replied quietly. I looked over to him. Jackie wasn’t here, and I really didn’t feel like doing this assignment by myself after doing weeks worth of mine and Tims’.
“Would you want to be my partner than?” I asked him. His face flushed red.
“I-uh. Yeah. Sure. If you want me to be.” He grabbed his laptop, and got up to sit down next to me.
I opened my laptop, and went to the website with our class assignments.
“Which assignment is it?” I asked, leaning over to look at his laptop.
“The stoichiometry one.” He said, his breath shaky. I hadn’t even noticed that I was hovering over his broken arm. I quickly moved away.
“I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to hurt you if I did.” I said worriedly. He shook his head.
“No, no you didn’t! You’re fine!” He insisted. I let a breath out in relief.
“If you don’t mind me asking, how did you break it?” I questioned, staring at the sling. He looked down at it.
“Oh! I was walking down some stairs at Wayne Tower, and tripped on my own feet. I can get kinda clumsy sometimes. But it’s alright. The fracture wasn’t too bad. I had a really good nurse. Setting it back into place was the worst part.” I smiled.
“Well I’m glad that you had some helpful hands to keep you in tact, and I hope that that arm heals soon. But if you need some help with anything, I’m here for you.” We smiled to each other as I looked into his eyes. A dark blue. His pupil was expanding by the second, covering most of the blue, which gave me a feeling of Deja vu. I bit my lip. “Actually. This will help.” I grabbed his laptop, and began to write on it. “I just wrote my number down. If you want to text me, you can. If you need anything at all, I’m here for you.” I reminded him. His face turned a deep crimson red.
“That’s um.. that’s really nice of you. I think I might keep that in mind.” He promised.
“You better.” I ordered him.
~~~~~~
It had been a few days since I had given Tim my number, and needless to say, we did not stop texting.
The more I got to know him, the more that I realized he was more than the smart son of the billionaire playboy prince of Gotham. He was kind, and funny. He was sarcastic, and something about him reminded me of someone. I just couldn’t put my finger on who it was.
Tim was sweet, and even though we just started becoming friends, I could tell that he really cared about me. I was right about his compassion.
And yet, he was good for a distraction. I had started to miss my masked crusader, and I wished that he was okay. He hadn’t come to visit me in a week and a half, and Tim helped keep my mind off of him.
Hell, I had even started to look forward to the boys’ texts, and my heart would race when I’d see his notification pop up.
But it was another late night, and Tim hadn’t texted me back for a few hours; Probably working on something with the newest Wayne Foundation project, when I heard a knock at my window. My heart raced and I opened it immediately.
There, and as happy as ever, was the boy I had been waiting to see for 2 weeks.
“Hey there!” Red Robin said, sliding into the window. He didn’t seem that beaten up tonight, and he seemed in much better condition than the last time I saw him. Except he wasn’t wearing a cast to protect his arm.
“Shouldn’t you be wearing a sling or something?” I asked. He smiled.
“I’ll be fine. I’ve fought under worse conditions! Besides, I couldn’t wait any longer to see you. I missed seeing your pretty face.” I smirked, crossing my arms.
“Is that the only thing you like about me?” I asked. He scoffed, offended.
“What? No, no, no! The prettiness is just something that comes with the whole package! That’s the least of my concerns.” I rolled my eyes at his words, but kept a smile on my face.
I started to walk to my closet. “Anyways, what is it tonight? A scratch on your arm? Your leg cut open?” I asked. I didn’t notice that he was right behind me, until I felt his hands wrap around my waist, his front against my back.
“Actually nothing for tonight. It was a boring patrol. I would have come sooner, but I had a last minute case file to turn in to Batman.” I blushed as his arms tightened around my waist. His head leaned down into the crook of my neck. I’m pretty sure my heart was going to fail right there and then.
“That’s a pretty necklace you have there, where’d you get it?” He teased. Ohp! There’s that Deja Vu again! I swear it’s been driving me crazy recently!
I grabbed his arms, holding them. I made sure to hold the broken one lightly. “I would have liked to receive it from you, but instead I had to get it from your accomplice, who wouldn’t stop making puns.” I informed. Red chuckled next to my ear.
“That’s Nightwing for you. It never gets old.” He paused for a moment before continuing. “I wanted to give it to you myself, but they wouldn’t let me patrol at all until my stitches settled. That, and I wanted to know that you would be safe if I wasn’t around. That way, if something were to happen and I wasn’t there, I know one of the others would be able to keep you safe.” My heart fluttered again. How on earth did Gotham deserve this guy?
“Well I thank you for worrying about my safety.” I mumbled, laying my head back on his chest.
“Just doing what I can to protect you. I don’t want you getting hurt. You see how I get hurt every night. I don’t want that happening to you.” I turn around to face him. I reach a hand up to cup his cheek. He leans into it.
“I’ll be fine. I have someone like you that watches over me. And I always make sure to keep a taser or pocket knife on me at all times. Besides, someone has to patch you up, and I would prefer it to be me for as long as possible.” I tell him. He smirks.
“Why? Would you be jealous if I went to another person to get all healed up?” He asked, leaning in closer to me.
“Very.” I close the remaining space we have, interlocking our lips together. His kiss is still gentle. He’s intoxicating, and deep. It’s like the first time all over again.
We pull away, and he leans his forehead on mine. “God, you’re the only thing I’ve thought about for almost 2 years.” He whispers. I laugh.
“Tell me about it.”
19 Reasons (Tim Drake x Reader)
It’s Tim’s birthday in my timezone, so I’m writing my first ever DC Comic post- yes- fiNALLY-
Summary: You said you wished your turning 19 year old Tim “Happy Womb Escape” by presenting a slideshow titled “19 reasons why I love Tim Drake.”
☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
“Guess what day it is?”
“19 July?” He didn’t even bat an eye, busy typing away on his computer without a care in the world.
“Seriously? Okay stop working,” you closed his laptop and shove it away to a corner, “you literally forget it’s your birthday today?”
He looks at you nonchalantly before crossing his arms with an eyebrow raised. “Well, it’s not that important?”
You gasped in horror, dramatically rolling up to his chest with your hand pressed to your forehead and the other clutching your heart. “ ‘Not important’? My own boyfriend saying his birthday is ‘not important’? Non!”
He rolled his eyes, playfully and lightly shoving you away as he smirked. You grinned.
“I’m going to show you why it’s important with this slideshow!” You placed your own laptop on his lap, the monitor flashing a slideshow titled “19 Reasons Why I Love Tim Drake”.
“Oh god. This is gonna be fun,” he joked.
“Before that, I would just like to say,” you started, clicking to the next slide, “ ‘Happy Womb Escape’ to you, Drake.”
“Wait wha-”
“Now first reason!” You clicked to the next slide, cutting your baffled vigilante as you cleared your throat to perform your lines.
“Number one! He’s Red Robin, Gotham’s best vigilante out there! Ain’t I ever seen another like him!”
“There’s Bruce, Dick, Jason, Cass, Steph, Lu-”
“STOP- THERE IS NO ONE LIKE YOU!” You groaned in frustration, making Tim chuckle. “Yeah but I’m basically just like them.”
“I ain’t see someone who single-handedly took down the Joker? Obeah Man? Got rid of the booty shorts of Robin? That’s a crime, by the way.” You said it in a “matter-of-fact” way. He snorted.
“Secondly! He’s the most hardworking man I know! But also he needs rest so take notes. Third! He’s the biggest, dorkiest dork on earth who loves machines, science, and he googles the most random things on the internet just to give me a fun fact later on out of the blue!”
“Fourth! His hair is fluffy as hell and it makes him very nice to pat on the head! Fifth! He’s a nerd! And that’s cute! Sixth, Tim is the smartest man I’ve ever met. I bet he could find the last digit of Pi in like 2 seconds in his brain. Seventh!”
Tim smiled warmly, soon becoming smug the more you went on with your points. He looked so proud.
“Seventh, is that he’s a bisexual icon! Enough said. Eighth! He lends me his sweaters and they all smell like him which is the nice part.”
“You stole them, you mean?”
“Shhhh, let the presenter speak. Anyways, ninth! Timmy bringing me to a burger joint on our first date and he didn’t judge me for it. I’ll tell you something I didn’t until now: I was pretty scared you judged me but you didn’t. So thank god.”
“I always judge you, Y/N, it’s alright,” Tim smirked. You looked at him with a frown, not amused. “Yeah, okay never mind, I should take this slide down.”
“Hey!” He said, grinning as wide as you were. “Next! Tenth! He watches over me even when he’s on patrol to make sure I’m safe!”
“You… know? I thought I was pretty well hidden…” he blinked in surprise.
“Tim, you may be a detective and that’s exactly the point. It doesn’t take some of your skills to rub off of me,” again, you said it as a matter-of-fact.
“Eleventh! He’s a skater boy, and he’s my ‘Skater Boi’,” Tim once again snorted, much louder upon understanding that pop culture reference.
“Twelfth, he loves watching old, 80s to 90s cheesy movies and geeks out about them all the time while we’re watching! Don’t ever shut up, by the way. Thirteenth! He always fidgets with his fingers and hands when he’s bored subconsciously! That in itself is adorable.”
“Fourteenth! He’s a terrible cook, but he still tries anyways. It’s also adorable~” He rolled his eyes, folding his arms.
“Wow, I feel so loved.”
“Yesh, and I love you very much as well, Timothy Jackson Drake Wayne,” you teased. He scoffed lightly. “Yeah, yeah.”
“Fifteenth! He is the best cross-dresser. That is all. Sixteenth! HE IS THE WORLD’S GREATEST DETECTIVE! Like he found Waldo every 2 seconds, finished 5 books of him in 1 minute,” you said, doing an amateur explosion side effect by saying “kaploosh” with your hands doing the mind-blown action.
“Again, Bruce and everyone else in my family.”
“Again, there is no one like you, Detective Tim. Seventeenth! Best photographer! Also enough said! Love everything you take, sweetie! Eighteenth! He makes using a metal stick look badass!”
“And lastly! Nineteenth! Drum roll please!” You use your knuckles to lightly drum against the wooden floors. “He’s Tim Drake! What’s not to love?” You smiled. It was so contagious that he found himself smiling as stupid and gleefully as you did.
He had always been insecure of his abilities and himself in general, so he was so flustered and gooey on the inside with how genuine you were with each point. Although, his flustered-ness was showing with pink blooming on his cheeks.
“Okay, guess I understand why my birthday’s important now.”
“Glad you understood my report, Mr Drake!” You smiled at him.
“So now I shall say,” you drum-rolled again, quickly tossing your arms around him and lightly pecked his cheek with a grin.
“I love you, Timothy Jackson Drake Wayne.”
He smiled at you lovingly, cupping your cheek as he gently brushed his thumb against it. “And I love you, too, YF/N L/N. Thanks for your birthday gift.”
You laughed sweetly. “The gift is you, technically~”
Jason todd who would def cut patrol short when reader calls him cuz her vibrator died??? idk i literally see his weakness as being needed in any way... <333
a/n: anon ur so right
"I'm on my way pretty girl, just sit tight for me."
warnings: piv sex, explicit smut, semi-rough sex, reader masturbates, reader has a vibrator, mentions of other sex toys, jason todd is a whore, no beta we die like men, jason uses spanish petnames because its sexier i dont make the rules, reader has a vagina, reader masturbates, sexual frustration, mentions of heaven & idk what else
The chill of another Gotham night kissed your supple skin. Fresh out of the shower, you made your way back to your Jason-less bed for the night.
The routine of Jason being gone on patrol was painfully familiar, but the ache it left in your chest remained foreign, no matter how many times you experienced it.
This time, he left in a hurry after you both left your business unfinished. His lips sucked at your neck and made their way down to your collarbone, only for his alarm to go off and his helmet to be tugged on. 'I'll see you after patrol, amorcita' he said, knowing full well he would be home around 4 am.
This left an ache in you. Not a fire yet, no, but a craving to be fed what he starved you of hours ago.
Finally dry and setting your towel down, you find a pair of clean underwear and a loose pyjama shirt and lower yourself into bed.
It was a cold night, the frigid sheets and absence of Jason only making it worse. Despite the discomfort, you couldn't deny yourself the subtle pleasure of rubbing your thighs together to satiate the pressing situation between them.
It had been so long since Jason left, and you were fucking needy for Christ's sake.
Deciding to get the job done yourself, you pull out the bullet vibrator that you used when Jason wasn't around. It wasn't that you deliberately kept him from it, he just never asked, and you needed a little escape when he left you in such a state.
Spreading your legs under the covers, you lightly stroked your clit with one hand, while the other toyed with your nipple.
You haven't even turned the damn thing on and you're a panting, dripping mess already, soaking your surrounding area in sweat and stickiness.
Your index finger pressed on the power button, and you increased the pressure on your clit. Instantly, you saw stars and the relief was unimaginable.
Just as you got a steady rhythm going, everything stopped.
You pressed and held down the power button again, but nothing happened.
Your puffy pussy begged for more stimulation, something as intense as the now-gone vibrations, but it was too late. There was no time to charge and all your other toys were dead.
Trying to still at least finish, you employ both your hands between your legs, one rubbing hard circles on your clit and the other prodding at your weeping entrance.
Tears of dissatisfaction burned rivers in your hot cheeks, and your fingers began to tremble and give out. It had been 45 minutes of trying to get yourself anywhere near an orgasm, and your desperation has reached its limit.
Jason always told you to call him in case of an emergency, and this was beginning to be a fucking emergency.
Jason was taking down a group of goons with his guns, while punching and kicking those who came too close. He was much less coordinated tonight (thanks to the tent in his pants), which the gang members took full advantage of. Thoughts of you and your supple skin ran marathons in his head, clouding all focus and occupying all his mental real-estate, making it hard to pay attention to the current pressing issues.
Just as he finished his last one off, his helmet alerts him of an incoming call from you. This is extremely strange, as you don't call or text when he's out at all. He picks up though, panting but quite anxious at the sudden change.
Before he has a chance to ask, you cut him off.
"please jay i-i need you..."
"Huh? What happened princess? Are you alright? Are you safe?" Jason blurts in a frenzy.
"y-yes but i n-need you and it hurts..." You whine pitifully.
"What hurts hm? Tell me, princessa." He continues worriedly as he mounts his motorcycle ready to speed back to you.
You moan at the pet name, sticky fingers returning to your abused cunt and beginning to rub at your clit again in hopes of creating some friction.
"Darling?"
Sudden embarrassment kept your form being straightforward with him and you resorted to another whimper of dissatisfaction once again.
"J-just come home, please Jay?"
"I'm on my way pretty girl, just sit tight for me." Jason responded with a click of the line going dead.
In the meantime, you were a pitiful writhing mess, voice hoarse and hands shaking. The covers have long been forgotten, leaving your open thighs trembling with both frustration and the cold.
Jason was shitting himself. Between your defeated pleas for him to just come home coupled with your reluctance to be specific, he was terrified.
His mind kept replaying scenarios of horror and bloodshed as he ignored every single traffic law to get back to you.
Finally outside your shared apartment, he flung himself up the fire escape and through your kitchen window. When it was deemed safe, he took off his mask and called out to you. He was met with a desperate sobs in response, which only made his worry grow.
Hard footsteps could be heard making their way closer to you, making you flinch slightly.
Upon flinging open the bedroom door, Jason was sorely unprepared to meet such a pitiful sight.
There you were, spread open for all to see. Cunt swollen and wet, dripping like a faucet onto the sweat-soaked sheets. Your braids ran wild behind you as your bonnet had slipped off and your entire body was trembling due to the chill in the air.
Even as his huge form stood over you, your shaky and tired hands continued to rub at your clit, desperate for relief. Your bitten lips were still being chewed and your teary eyes remained squeezed shut.
Jason softened and hardened at the same time, but in different places.
You open your eyes to find him in his tactical gear looming over you and your hands immediately fly up from you body to make grabby hands at him.
He manages a genuine, soft smile despite the carnal desire brewing in his pants.
Before he indulges though, he need to make sure you're okay first.
"Hey, I'm right here love. You alright?" He whispers over your shaking body, his hand volunteering to rub your calf in effort to soothe your shaking.
"J-Jay? fuck I need-" you sob as your trembling hand returns to your abused clit once again.
He catches your hand and kisses the back of it, knowing that this will only overstimulate you. However, this was all the confirmation he needed. Jason stripped himself quickly and crawled his way up to you on the bed.
"Shhhh I know querida, I know... Does it hurt?" Jason questions, trying to gauge the situation the best he could.
You nod fervently, just wanting some fucking relief. Your hips were sore from being in such an open position for so long, your breasts and nipples were raw, and oh god you didn't want to acknowledge the burning between your legs.
Just then, Jason captured your lips with his as soft reassurance. This gentleness didn't last, as your desires began to overtake your mouths and soon, you were both hungrily devouring each other.
Jason was here, with you, right here, right now.
His hands began to roam, your body, soothing all the tension and frustration that was once there. It hurt him to feel your muscles trembling in such a painful way, but also inspired him to make them shake for a more intimate purpose.
Jason's mouth made its way down your body, from the back of your left ear to your collarbone, making your gasp as he left marks of his devotion in his wake. His journey led him to the valley between your breasts, where his hands began to knead your right breast with practiced skill.
"J-Jay please- oh~"
At your call, his head perks up from where he was kissing down your stomach, just above your navel.
Jason's lustful green eyes settle on your pleading and desperate gaze, to which he smirks and settles the side of his head on your soft tummy and continues holding your gaze.
"Tell me how you want me, cariño"
You bit your lip. All this longing has robbed you of your ability to think, and in the most crucial moment, your mind went blank.
Seeming to notice, Jason moves himself back up to your face, silver chain dangling from his neck over yours, and employs his left hand to smooth your braids from your face.
"You want me to fuck you like the heavens have forsaken us, hm?"
You moan and nod, one of your hands moving to his weeping length and beginning to stroke it.
Jason devours you again, making you eat his moans and whimpers, and finally positions himself between your legs.
Upon swiping a thick finger between your folds he realizes that he's completely good to go, no prep needed.
"Deep breath, mami~" he grits out. He doesn't wait for a response before he's pushing himself all the way in.
You both moan in unison, and continue to do so as Jason's thrusts pickup speed and force.
As soon as he's found a rhythm his mouth and hands didn't leave your body. His chain dangled closely above you as he kissed your cheeks and neck, and his hands kneaded and squeezed wherever they went.
Surprising to neither of you, Jason's pace quickly became brutal, but he continued hitting all the sensitive spots inside your warm walls. His roughness never overshadowed his ability to bring you pleasure, he made sure of that.
Remembering your sore hips, Jason pulls a pillow under your ass to change the angle, which allows him to reach that much deeper inside you.
Your pussy clenches hard at the newfound pleasure and the coil in your lower tummy begins to unravel.
"You like that 'ma? This tight pussy tells me you do." He chuckles.
All you can do is moan and grip the soft sheets for dear life; Jason was making you see Andromeda.
The coil, never forgotten, was closing in quickly, by which Jason was undeniably privy to due to your walls closing on on him.
You threw your head back and tried to stay in the moment without getting lost in the anticipation of your impending orgasm.
At this, Jason's now free hand found the back of your head and lifted it back up to meet his gaze.
"Amorcita? I know you're close, mi vida. You know what I want" Jason whispers against your mouth, his breath ghosting over your bitten and swollen lips.
The coil was becoming unbearable now. You were teetering on just the edge, just the painstaking precipice of and absolutely mind-bending orgasm.
You notice that Jason was getting sloppier, and his thrusts quicker and not as deep. His quick breaths became laboured and his eyes screwed shut. He was close.
"You're right there darling. C'mon, cum with me." He says before he smashes his lips on yours and thrusts hard. The coil in your tummy finally snapping at the surprise.
Galaxies and other stars bathed in white bliss was all you were able to perceive as the long-awaited orgasm claimed every blazing nerve in your body. No longer cold, but cozily warm your body felt as the waves of pleasure continued to cascade throughout your body.
Your other half was pushed over the edge by your climax, which then painted your insides a sticky white while he groaned in your ear upon release.
You were too far gone to notice his thrusts coming to a stop and his hands running themselves up and down your sides, gently coaxing your back in the present with him.
"Mami? You back with me yet" Jason whispers in your neck.
You barely register what he's saying, outside stimulation being very hazy and distant.
"Hmm?"
"I asked if you're with me yet." He says with a laugh. You looked so lost but finally content.
You nod your head, but this was't sufficient.
"Words, querida."
"Yeah, I'm good." You respond with a sigh.
Though you knew tomorrow morning would be hell on your muscles, you were finally satisfied and happy.
Jason kissed your forehead and got up to get a towel, but stopped once he got to the ensuite bathroom and turned to look at you while leaning on the doorframe.
"Oh and baby?"
You turn over to look at him, your eyes not being able to fight the urge to roam the expanse of his glorious body as if your guts weren't already rearranged.
"Hmm?"
"I hope you never charge that vibrator again."
⛤ BATFAM MASTERLIST ⛤
Galas were boring. At least they were in Gotham. They were all the same; a bunch of wealthy snobs dressed extravagantly all crammed into a room with delicately ornate ceilings and diamond shaped chandeliers. The sound of feet shuffling and heels clicking against the polished floors occasionally broke through the sound of chatter as guests mingled, drifting between one and other, passing around pristine champagne glasses that glistened when they caught the light that seemed to be obsessively bright considering it was dark outside and all you could see besides the moon and the stars were the street lamps that dwindled away into nothing in the distance.
You had secluded yourself to the top of the stairs, tucking yourself into a corner by the bannister, trying to find a way to sit in your outfit that made you feel like the human embodiment of a wooden plank; the material was too stiff in some places, and if you moved in certain ways, it would ride up and sit uncomfortably on your skin. From up here you had a clear view of everything from below. You kept a keen eye on the Wayne boys as they dotted around the room, plastering on smiles to hide their clearly bored faces.
You couldn’t help needing the constant feeling of being able to survey. It was something that your family had ingrained into you from the moment you were old enough to understand how to keep a secret. See, your family was part of a syndicate that dated back hundreds of years. It used its wealth and the power that came with it to manipulate its way into getting what it wants when it wants it. But, it wasn’t just your family. There were others, too. In fact, at least half of the people in the room were a part of the syndicate. The Court of Owls. The elite. Gothams deadliest. And you were lucky to be one of them. Or, that’s what you had always been told…but recently, you had been feeling off. Something hacked away at you, your life was one big lie. And what you were doing felt wrong… you couldn’t handle the blood shed anymore. Just a little bit longer, you told yourself. You would find a way out.
“What are you doing?”
The gruff voice made you jump. Lost in your reverie, you hadn’t even heard the figure approach from behind you. His large figure and broad shoulders told you that his steps should have been heavy, but there was something else about him that screamed the opposite at you, but perhaps your hardwiring was making you overthink.
“I uh…Sorry.” You mumbled, scrambling to stand up and failing to think of an excuse.
He scoffed lightly, shaking his head and extending a hand from his black suit jacket for you to take. When you took it, it was calloused but gentle, warm and followed by a chivalrous grin.
“I don’t think we’ve met before.” He asked, cocking an eyebrow.
You shook your head. “Perhaps not. I tend to keep to myself at these kinds of things. Try to avoid them if possible.”
The boy smiled. “Agreed. I’m Dick. Dick Grayson.”
“Y/N.” You shook his hand, opting not to give him a last name. You knew that if you gave it away somehow you would slip up. “So, you’re one of Wayne’s kids? What’s that like for you?”
“Exactly as you’d expect it to be. Three whiny little brothers, a dad who’s barely there, but somehow still overprotective all the time. What more could one ask for?”
“Sounds like you’re living the life.” You agreed. You hated to admit it, but you were slightly jealous of the kid. You had always begged for a normal life. Well, as close to normal as you could get to.
“Yeah.” Dick shrugged.
There was something about this stranger that made you feel safe. It was an odd sensation, but talking to Dick made you feel like a missing part of you had been filled. His voice was so comforting that it allowed you to get lost within his lilt for hours, losing track of time and purpose, forgetting about that oh so present worry of keeping the secret. It wasn't until a cold, bony hand wrapped around your elbow, tugging you up and away from the stairs. You weren’t even given a change to say goodbye to Dick as you were mercilessly dragged away.
Your mother scolded you that night. Hurrying you down the dark pathway. She uttered the same words. It was always the same words.  “I’m disappointed in you, Y/N.” “That’s not how we act, Y/N.” “Oh, if only he could see you now he would be outraged at how useless you are.”
It would have been nice to say that you had to bite back the tears, but it was such a common occurrence now that you just kept your face stoic and marched on down the pathway, listening to the gravel crunch as it shifted under your shoes instead of your mother.
It was that night that seemed to be the final straw.Another scolding from your mother at the Court meeting before bed, and you finally snapped. It was embarrassing, being belittled like that in front of your friends. So, although the plan was slightly rushed, it seemed to be the perfect timing. It was already late, and your parents had retired to bed with weary steps and droopy eyes. It was the perfect chance to slip out unnoticed. Or, so you thought.
With your bag slung over your shoulder and your mask still pressed tightly to your face, you tried to slip out of the door. You were halfway down the driveway, keeping your back pressed to the dark shadows cast by the hedges when you heard it. A snap, and then an animalistic growl. And then there were the haunting green eyes that seemed to blink into existence out of nowhere; vibrant and angry they stared a never resisting stare at you as the humanoid honed in on you.
Without thinking twice, you dropped your bag and ran, slamming your feet into the ground and propelling yourself down the drive and into the maze of buildings in Gotham City. The Talon was right behind you. You could hear it drawing in, feel its hot breath every time you began to slow, only for it to propel you on faster.
When you found a fork in the path, you made a fake turn hoping to trick the Talon into going the wrong way as you clambered up an old steel ladder that made you wince as it echoed much too loudly across the alley for your liking. For one, bittersweet moment, you thought that it had worked, but after catching your breath at the top of the roof, you were forced back to running at the sound of a second charging at you even more persistently than the first. It was safe to say that you were now your family’s enemy.
You cursed, leaping across the flat roofs as you tried to lose them, but the assassins weren't relenting.
The darkness made it difficult to see where each building ended and the next one began, but you continued to hurl yourself across them, unsure of where you were actually trying to get to. All you knew was that you had to get out of Gotham. And fast.
But your plan seemed to go sideways when they began to throw the knives. Small but deadly, they were rounded into a fine point a few inches below a well etched hole for them to be flung from the wielder's hands. Their poison tipped grooves glimmered unsettlingly as they whipped through the air with concerning precision, but your time with the Court gives you a one up on the average person and allows you to dodge a few of them. But only by mere millimetres.
Despite the burn in your thighs, you sped up weaving around Gotham until you thought you had finally slipped their grasp. But the assassins were highly trained, and you should have known better than to trust your immediate judgement.
Seemingly out of nowhere, a throwing knife found its place within your back, tearing away at the fabric of your outfit. You let out a gasp of pain, but pressed on racing around a corner. But then another found its mark deep within your calf. You cursed, biting down harshly on your lip then stumbling around a corner and pressing yourself against the concrete wall. With heavy breaths as though all of your oxygen had been snatched away from you, you listened anxiously. But you heard nothing besides the occasional car passing by in the street below.
Without thinking twice about it, you tore the daggers from your skin, biting back your cry of pain hoping that if you got them out the poison wouldn’t spread, though fortune didn’t seem to be in your favour recently. After tearing a strip of material from your sleeve and creating a makeshift bandage around your leg, you hobbled quickly down the nearest set of steps winching each time the wound in your leg shifted.
You didn’t think your night could get any worse, but it was then as you whipped around a corner that you collided with a firm chest. The figure was masked and decked with a blue insignia that somewhat resembled a raven. He was quick to grip you by the shoulders and slam you against the wall.
Pushing at him feebly you tried to loosen his hold on you but you were outmatched by his strength and your body was beginning to succumb to the effects of the poison the Talons had laced their weapons in, so you just gazed at him wide eyed behind your mask. You were running out of time.
“Please.” You implored, struggling against him “I have to get out of here. They’re coming for me.”
“What?” He almost barked. “Who?”
“I-”
“Answer me, Bird.” His jaw tensed. Your family didn’t have a very good history with Gotham’s vigilantes.
“The Talons.” You gritted out.
You visibly saw confusion cross his face as he deepened his brow, but he loosened his grip when he saw the glowing eyes appear on the rooftop.
“We need to leave.” You pushed yourself away from the wall and propelled yourself further into Gotham, not caring that the vigilante was close behind. In fact, it only occurred to you that he was following you when one of the assassins managed to approach from front to try and corner you. With your vision doubling your aim was off and the dagger sailed past your target, so Nightwing raced past you and moved to take it out with one swipe of his electrified staff only to be cut short by the sound of gunfire and the emergence of another masked figure, only this one was cloaked in red. The two vigilantes acknowledged each other seemingly commuicating to eacother in ways you couldn't hear. You nodded at him gratefully and continued to make a break for it, only glancing back once to fling the other stolen dagger at your pursuers and hoping that it did something useful other than clatter to the floor.
It seemed life forever by the time you were able to stop running. You were on the far side of Gotham, away from all of the hubbub of the city. You breathed heavily clutching at the stitch in your side when your legs buckled and you had no choice but to sit down on the ground to unravel the blood soaked rag and examine the angry cut.
Red Hood seemed to have other plans for when you tilted your head up, he was angling his gun towards you at you.
“Why were they after you?” he demanded, scowling. “Who are you?”
“I-” You began to explain but you were overcome with a rush of nausea and soon the lights of Gotham city and the masked vigilantes faded to black.
~
Dick Grayson frowned as he studied your unconscious body tucked neatly into one of the spare bedrooms in the manor. It had been four long days since he had hauled you had succumbed to the effects of the poison and your body had raised an alarming fever that caused beads of sweat to form across your hot skin. You were so warm that he could feel the heat radiating from you by the chair he was sitting in albeit you couldn’t stop shivering.
Tenderly he brushed the hair from your face. One of the first things that they had done was remove your mask, and it was safe to say that Dick was taken aback when he realised that it was you hiding behind the costume. When he carried you back to the manor he wasn’t entirely sure why. It would have been easier to have just left you there to rot, after all his family were no big fans of the Court of Owls, but there was just something about you that compelled him to. You seemed so scared and innocent, but he could tell you also had this fire that flickered inside of you, desperate to leap out. It was oddly familiar to him, but he couldn’t place why until he took off the mask. When he had met you that night you hadn’t seemed like the person who would be a part of the court. He and Jason had been studying them for years and your tenderness didn’t seem to fit the profile. But then they sent assassins after you, so perhaps you were never really part of them in the first place? There were so many unanswered questions that they made the vigilantes head spin.
“She still not awake yet?” Tim asked, pushing open the door with his legs before setting down two mugs of coffee. He had taken a particular interest in you since you had arrived. All of the boys had. They had all seen you at Bruce’s galas, even spoken to you once or twice, so your entire predicament really interested them.
It was then that you began to stir; muscles twitching and eyes blinking slowly. That was then followed by a low groan as all of your sensations flooded back to you all at once, hitting you like a ton of bricks as the headache and dull throbbing from the stitches kicked in.
“Take it easy.” Tim said as you jerked up suddenly. “You’ll tear your stitches.”
You eyed him confused, but slightly calmer when you realised that you were out. That the Talons hadn’t ended your life.
“How did I get here…?” You blinked.
The two brothers glanced at each other and then Dick sighed. The truth would only come out sooner or later.
“We ran into each other a few nights ago. You passed out on me so I brought you back here… We managed to treat you for the poison, but you’ve wracked up quite a fever. It’s a good thing you took those out when you did.” He gestured towards the bandages that were wrapped securely around your chest and your leg. “Any longer and.. Well.”
“Oh…”
“Oh? That’s it? You don’t care that he’s just revealed our identities?” Tim asked.
You shrugged. “I guess it makes sense. Five of you. Five of them. And I suppose it’s only fair. You know who I am, now I know who you are.”
You trailed off. You still needed to get as far away from Gotham as possible.
“Thank you for everything, but I need to go-” You tried to push yourself up on shaky arms but were stopped by Tim.
“Stay there. Your body still needs to recover.”
“But they’re after me. I need to leave. I’m putting us all in jeopardy just by being here-”
“Relax.” Dick told you, running his hand down your arm “You’re safe. They’re not going to hurt you here. Not under our watch.”
His tenderness caught you off guard. It wasn’t something you were used to having.
“Get some rest, y/n.” he told you. “We’ll keep you safe as long as you need.”
~
Much to your surprise you had ended staying with the Waynes much longer than you had anticipated.
At first, you told yourself it was just to get yourself back up on your feet before you disappeared under the radar, but you soon began to develop a strong liking for each other and your bonds with them began to grow.
You began to enjoy spending time with them; passionate talks with Tim or bingeing movies with Jason until ungodly hours in the morning before being scolded by Alfred for not getting a healthy amount of sleep and sparring with Dick to help maintain your combat skills that at first you had wanted to ditch, but were eventually persuaded otherwise. You had even grown close with Damian who although was reluctant to openly warm up to you at first had eventually become someone you shared nearly everything with. It didn’t take long at all before you were the voice that guided them through their ear pieces each time they set out on patrol.
Time seemed to pass by in a flash because before you knew it, it had been months since you first arrived and you no longer felt as though you were an outsider. They had welcomed you with open arms, sympathising with your situation but allowing you that space for your own independence which you were often grateful for at times when you didn’t want to deal with their antics.
The four of them felt as though they had a duty to protect you for a while after your escape from the Court. They had been incredibly helpful in keeping you out of your family’s watchful eye, even going as far as creating you a fake identity, but they also gave you a sense of security. It was their kindness and their love that allowed you to fall asleep at night, and it was their knowledge that allowed them to be there for you when it all just became a little too much and you were in desperate need of a shoulder or four to cry on.
They made you feel safe.
You cherished each and every moment that you shared with the Wayne boys. Both the good and the bad. Each one was a reminder of who you were. That you had carved your own path and were free to discover who you wanted to be.
Thank you for reading! Hope you liked :)
