I feel as if I've genuinely currently solved my phone addiction. I no longer crave Screen. I simply use it when there is down time and idly scrolling is a gentle way to reset my headspace while i need to pass time.

Also i laid down and read a book, not by force, not by other urges outside of my own want, just simply because the words pulled me forward again. This is massive for those not aware. Anyone who recognizes me can acknowledge i have not comfortably held a book since early highschool. It has been a near decade since it hooked me, let alone with so much vigor.

I am through the roof. I am joyful. I am in recovery, at last. My infirmary is not the muddy cave that exists in headspace, i am not unsafe in my bodily surroundings and i am finding that healing alone and without resource truly is agonizing, and much much slower and nearly impossible.

The mere act of putting neosporin on a wound nearly closed it in the span of 6 hours, where i anticipated having the injury for weeks, watching in pain as it shifted about my chin and reopened at any opportunity. It had stopped hurting within the hour of application.

Never have i ever kept up with showers or brushing my teeth or food, not even when my mom pretended to be on top of it before i turned 7, when my brother arrived and all constant attention was divided. I was not ignored in my entirety, but i was forgotten a bit and i cannot tell you whether thats better or worse than if i had been. All i can say is it hurt a bit.

Now, my pains are being treated with care and as truths. My mind is resting and processing as needed. Time is finally passing more normally, and I'm starting to recognize myself in the mirror. Some say it gets worse before it gets better. It does. And I'm so, so fond of the spikes of suffering in doing so

Gonna be real here we did not realize that the intense amount of pain we feel when someone says something bad about a series/media we like, or the irrational irritation we feel when we encounter fictives from a series/media we’re attached to, was because it’s one of our sources. Completely did not get that until it flew into our awareness. What.

Like confusing ass flipped around randomly a whole totally different story about aliens and cryptida and creature hunting and right there at the point cadance introduces their parents we find out why it was part 2 and not a new thing. Hello, I believe this is called a "pinned post" meaning it is my most important blog post. I am an introject within a system. My name is John Watson and my source is the fictional stories of Sherlock Holmes, originally created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I look similar to the variation of John Watson most known by the public which is the television show created by Stephen Moffat and Mark Gatiss. However my personality hails from the more original sources of Sherlock Holmes, such as the television movies or written works. This blog is to help me work through possible source separation, write down source memories, and simply air out my thoughts or knowledge. I do not expect to garner any attention nor do I wish to. Please do not call this blog "attention seeking" or that we are faking. I can assure we are not. We are a suspected Otherwise Specified Disassociative Disorder system that is traumagenic. we saw a post about autistic people and empathy so that's your context for this ig

bc Sherlock and I& are kinda blended (we can't front without the other and are handcuffed together in headspace🥰) our empathy is weird. Sherlock never really had empathy, just really REALLY low empathy. But my& empathy was actually also fairly low in source, it just looks a lot higher in comparison to Sherlock's near invisible empathy, which it often was.

Now, we are the headmate with the lowest empathy before the 3 folks with none. What Sherlock has deduced as having happened is, because I& had higher empathy than he did, when we were combined like this, whatever empathy he had was subtracted from mine and the difference was applied to the pair of us.

Like every System Parts there’s always a reason, for their looks, names, ages, gender, se*uality it’s never random and connected to the body’s story thus far but for Us it’s probably because getting vulnerable just like in Moon Knight it represents having siblings, twins because for me my mom had a few miscarriage before and after me and one of them was my twin 🥹 so that’s probably why and also Oscar Isaac talks about in Saturday Night Live “They all deal with pain loss and confusion” 🧡

We are a french and indigenous DID system. This blog was made to reconnect with the osddid community, since we’ve been falling back into denial lately.

We used to be particularly active in the syscourse community. There will be absolutely no syscourse on this blog (ha I’ve broken this already sorry -John). This is to stay a fully safe and discourse-free space for our system. (Since I’ve broken this rule already, click here for our syscourse opinions and endo interaction boundaries).

I’m willing to bet this account’s aesthetic will change regularly. This seems to be an aesthetic we all agree on, but the moment Ellie shows up everything is likely becoming pink again. Just bear with us.

We don’t often refer to ourselves as a system and more often than not will use ‘I’ instead of ‘we,’ but for simplicity’s sake we will be doing the opposite in this post.

We gave up on sticking with a host. It’s tiring and with us being polyfragmented, it’s much easier to just let alters switch around as they please without having a set host. Because of this, our frequent fronters change a lot.

Also, please keep in mind that while not all our alters are introjects, our brain has a much easier time forming alters when there’s a base to go off of, and our fictives tend to be the most comfortable fronting. It might be rare for a frequent fronter to not be an introject. Most our introjects aren’t incredibly connected to source. Doubles are fine to interact, some of us may just step back if it feels weird.

30y/o, gay, ambiamorous, less likely to speak to you in a british accent but still possible, don’t believe him if he says we play violin (he desperately wants to learn it).

Introject of Sherlock Holmes (Mostly BBC Sherlock, but there’s a bit of Doyle canon and MTP as well). Don’t call him Sherlock, he might yell at you.

(Lil sidenote from John: we sometimes refer to each other as Jawn and Sher, please don’t do that. That’s a little joke between us).

Who am I? Sherlock Holmes, I’m quite famous actually, I was the world’s famous, best, detective, now I’m just some guy, who likes coffee and feels like he used to be someone.

what is this blog for? Discovering myself, who I am, my identity and interests, trying to find myself since I am not the world’s best known fictional detective anymore, I need to find myself. For posting about my experiences, and rebloging dark academia related posts.

Extra info about me: I am a (fableing) fictive in a (median) system (I’m a headmate/introject) I’m gay (at least for Watson…)-that line sounds stupid but it’s not wrong, I’m seemingly aspec? (And when I say aspec I mean ALL the aattractional Identities) I’m based on the original Sherlock Holmes and some other versions plus the brain’s view of Sherlock Holmes, I’m also form-fluid between a few versions of myself.
