I will always be a normal guy defender, I don't want vigilantes who always look like super models unless it makes sense for their characters (Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Kori Anders). I want super-heros that look like the guy you could stumble on the supermarket. Your classmate. Your coworker. A random face in a ocean of people. Absolutely and completely forgetful unless you love them.
I want super-heros to take of their mask and the person be like "THAT'S JUST SOME GUY." their face leak and people be like "WHO 🗣️🗣️ THE FUCK IS THAT⁉️‼️‼️‼️🔥🔥" enough with conventionally attractive heros who look like bodybuilders more some heros who would be your Uber driver and you wouldn't pay attention to them twice.

Supers and Bats
So! Jazz, Danny, Dan, and Ellie are adopted by Clark Kent and Lois Lane after bouncing around the System for a while.
Jazz couldn't legally take care them because she's just an 18 yr old in College and couldn't provide for two 16 yr Olds and a 12 yr Old on her own.
(Dan is in his Post-AGIT Body, so he looks like Danny's Twin Brother, and Ellie is still 12 because she hasn't started Aging yet.)
Anyways, eventually the Fenton Family opens up about their Powers and are accepted into the Super Family. They even Begin acting as Heroes for Metropolis, taking on their own Super names. Like Superkid, Supergal, and Superguy, all lazy but funny names that fit the Family Naming Convention.
And you know the Rule, if you are a Super, you will inevitably end up with your very own Bat.
Obviously Clark adopted Bruce as his Bat. They were the originals, the OG's, they set the precedent.
Kon adopted Tim as his Bat while on YJ, or maybe or was the other way around? They both don't know, since they were both absolutely Messes when they were on that Team. It really could have gone either way.
Jon and Damien have been eachothers Bat/Super since the Day they met. Let's even say Jon never got stuck in that Time Paradox and stays the same age (a gift from peepaw Clocky)
Barbara actually gets Jazz. She's not exactly as Super as the rest of her Family and Adopted Family, but she he up there. And she constantly studies for her Classes at Barbara's Library, so they get to hang out a lot and bond over having to take care of their respective Families.
Danny and Duke get along well, and decide that Danny is now his Super. They started hanging out when Danny decided to become the 2nd Day Shift Hero of Gotham on a whim, cause why is Duke the only one? He splits his time between Metropolis and Gotham but as a Super it's not an inconvenience. They like Joking with eachother on patrol.
Surprisingly Dan and Dick get along very well. Dick used to be extremely Agressive and Violent, and can relate to Dan who has recently begun trying to ugnore his more extreme reactions. They bond over the feeling of not being understood as kids and their shared "Extremely Repressed Anger" emotions. (Dick doesn't have dad instincts shut up jason)
Cass and Steph take one look at "Still a 12 yr old Chaos Gremlin" Ellie and decide that she is theirs now. It's okay, they can share! They absolutely love their brand new Little Sister, and let her be the biggest of Gremlins!
Most people forget but Jason has Bizzaro as his Super, while he is on the Outlaws. Once Ellie hears about Bizzaro's situation, she helps stabilize him using some of Vlad's old Tech. So Bizzaro gets to live in this! Yay!
That's the idea, thoughts?

Dick Grayson, Age 8: This house is so empty, and there's no kids to play with... I wish I had a brother. Maybe even lots!
Dick Grayson, 20 years later: *trying to break up a fight between Tim and Damian, while Jason laughs about it instead of helping and Duke films it.* G_d, I was wrong. I was so, so wrong.

TA-DAH! 🪲🎉
Back at it again, with the Beetlejuice art, despite it still being the holidays.. now that its winter break I actually have some time to devote myself back into my interests so, yayy more art!
First of all, if youre anything like me this album is a huge nostalgia trip for you, secondly! , this is a redraw of the cover from the scissor sisters album “ta-dah”! Its one of my favorite album covers, and it has just the right amount of people to suit the main cast of beetlejuice 🥳 Also it was my first time drawing about… 70% of these characters so, hopefully I did ok?? Anyways! Enjoy! And also merry christmas happy holidays if I dont post until the new year :))💞💞

My favorite version of fanon Stephanie's relationship with the batfam is where she's just, not a sibling but still a batkid? If that makes sense???
She is totally member of the batfam but she dated Tim so she can't call Tim her brother and thus calling the other batkids siblings or Bruce dad will be weird. She's usually best friends with Tim and Cass tho. Plus both her parents are alive.
As a vigilant, her direct superior in fics tends to be Oracle who also falls under the dated a batkid dynamic but more importantly Oracle does not work under batman. So she tends to run parallel to the others in the vigilant family tree.
But Bruce pays her tution/pocket money. She spends alot of her time at the Manor. Her favorite food is included in the meal plan by Alfred. She gets to pick a movie during movie night. She can walk upto Bruce and just ask for stuff and get them. Bruce has the same trust fund for her as he has for the other batkids.
She still isn't his daughter and she won't ever call him dad. She is still a member of the family.

Barbara Gordon is a lost Clone of Jazz Fenton
So, years ago the GIW or Vlad or Somebody decided to try and clone Jazz. (Probably GIW)
It was supposed to be an experiment to see how well Liminals could be cloned, or if they could be turned back into a Human/turned even more Liminal. Unfortunately, the experiment took place around the same time Danny began his campaign to take down the GIW, attacking multiple bases across the US. The single Viable Clone that was created escaped the Lab it was held in during the attack and ran into the nearby City, Gotham.
The Clone managed to survive on the streets for a few weeks before being found by a Cop named Jim Gordon, and adopted.
She was given a new name, Barbara Gordon, and she mostly forgot that portion of her life before getting her new Family.
Then, over a decade later, Barbara Gordon was shot in the Spine and paralyzed. Or, she should have been. See, as it turns out the Scientists managed to impart just a little bit of Liminality into her when they made her, not enough to be noticeable but just enough to let her heal from wounds that should have been permanent. (Basically any wound will heal if given enough time, nothing is permanent)
It did take a while, but since the wound never stopped healing like it should have, she eventually regained the ability to use her legs after about 3 years.
Also, while her spine was healing her Linimal Powers were activate for the first time in her life, meaning her Ecto-Signature was more powerful than usual. That meant that it could be sensed for the first time ever.
So one day, after a shift at the Library, Barbara is on her way home when a lady walking past her stops and starts stating intently at her.
Ellie didn't expect to meet her new sister like this, but life (afterlife?) works in strange ways.

The centerpiece of the Choir of St Barbara's, christened "Gallatea."
I reckon the name's accurate: if you haven't fallen in love with this beast by halfway in, you're wasting your life. And oh, she is beautiful. The Exorcist was the highlight of the old range and this new one is a work of art.
Tumblr media
There's so much going on here: the pipe organ, the rockets, so many icons, the keyboard, and even fresh-cut flowers on the altar. That tread with the rose and crossed swords? Only one on the whole vehicle.
Tumblr media
I know the Brits get real touchy about Warhammer being THEIRS AND THEIRS ALONE, but the Battle Hymn of the Republic makes such a great anthem. It's an abolitionist creation, but you'll be hard pressed to find a holy war hymn that sounds better on the pipe organ. If we're driving a mobile pipe organ into battle(typically they are a part of the architecture), we're not taking half measures.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The box art is ridiculous. Why bury all those details in flat black?
Tumblr media
I left off the cherubs and Holy Vuvuzela. I needed parts for my original Exorcist rebuild and brother, they were made to snap off in transit.
Look at this cockpit:
Tumblr media
That keyboard! The hands in position to hit a chord! Who knows what those hatches in the deck are for?
I just want to point out another detail here: those roses below the icons. When 'Eavy Metal was putting this together for the box art, they painted over them to make them part of the bas relief. They are cowards and have undersold some details that serve the High Church/brutal war machine dichotomy that defines the Sisters.
Box art on the left, model in progress on the right.
Tumblr media
I am dying on this hill and you can bury me with my loupes.

What does “The Talk” mean for them?
Aka important conversations that would take place in certain types of character relationships
Jean & Barbara
“Why don’t you want me as your sister?”
Barbara has some self-esteem issues when it comes to her relationship with Jean. Maybe she’ll hear conversations between other sisters of the church and she’ll think, “I’ve never done anything like that with my sister.”
Most days Barbara feels like Jean is a stranger more than anything else. They’re not sisters, they’re not friends… they’re not even work acquaintances.
The day she asks is a day when everything else builds up. Someone mentioned a sister day out, another talked about family get-togethers, and Barbara sees Jean hanging out with Lisa yet again.
It’s not quite jealously. It’s envy.
Jean is the type to let things lie under the rug until it’s ripped out from under her. Not not important things, but not things that threaten the safety of Mondstadt kind of important things.
Personal things. Personal relationships.
The question rips out the rug from under her, and she’s faced with a horrifying realization: that these things she’s swept under the rug do not only affect her, but that she’s deeply, deeply hurt not only one of Mondstadt’s citizens, but her own sister. Her family.
Thus, their sit down consists of facing each other, tightly squeezing her sister’s hands as Jean looks deep into her eyes and tells her, “You are important to me. You will always be important to me. I’m sorry my responsibility can sometimes make it seem like my job takes precedence over my family.”
But Barbara understands. She’s always understood that. Sometimes she just… wants to be reminded that she has a sister. A blood one.
Kaeya & Diluc
“Will you leave me one day, too?”
Kaeya, as a child, might have developed some abandonment issues, and Diluc is the only one in his life that is constantly by his side, growing up and experiencing the world with him. He seems cool some days, and then needs to be protected other times, so Kaeya feels torn between feeling needed and not.
He’s never considered what he’s wanted.
Diluc is the only boy his age that stays by his side day and night, and he’s the only boy that involves him in everything. The other Mondstadt children are friendly, welcoming, but some point out that his eyes look different. Diluc always says it’s cool. It’s Kaeya.
It goes like this: Kaeya is watching the sky one night, and he thinks about the infinite possibilities that the universe might have in store for him. He thinks about his father’s words.
He holds out one, tiny hand, and he counts how many stars he can cover with one palm, and how many stars still shine through in the night sky.
That’s when Diluc comes out to sit beside him. They’ve been getting older, they’re close to their teenage years now, and Diluc has been asking for some space lately.
Tonight, he sits beside Kaeya. Last night, Kaeya didn’t see him until the next morning after their final meal.
He’s starting to feel alone again.
Without even realizing it, Kaeya speaks his thought out loud, and he quickly wishes he hadn’t. He’s not some clingy child, he thinks. He just feels like they’re pulling apart into something that will never reach back out to each other again.
Kaeya’s long since removed his gaze from the sky, embarrassed, but Diluc grabs his hand. He holds them up together, and he says, “Let’s see how many we can catch together.”
Kaeya smiles, but he knows Diluc didn’t answer his question.
Qiqi & Baizhu
“What would you like to do for your birthday this year?”
She never actually grows older. He’s measured her, run a few noninvasive tests, and it’s been proven time and time again. Qiqi is incapable of aging. She’s already dead. Sort of.
She’s somewhere between conscious and subconscious at all times of the day. Some information she retains, some information she forgets. There’s no discrimination when it comes to what she forgets, either.
It could be important. It could be nonsensical.
Sometimes it’s permanent. Sometimes it’s temporary.
She’ll say, “I’m sorry, I forgot,” in response to a lot of questions, but sometimes Baizhu suspects it’s more of an automatic response at times. She hasn’t forgotten; she just doesn’t know.
She doesn’t have much of an appetite either. Last year, he made her a cupcake, gave her a glass of the mysterious “Cocomilk,” and gathered a couple of neighborhood kids to celebrate with her.
It ended up confusing the kids, and her.
Baizhu will not invite the kids this year. Instead, he plans for a quiet affair, perhaps a walk around Liyue in the evening and birthday dinner before bed. Qiqi enjoys observation and routine, and Baizhu is more than happy to provide that for her.
Sometimes, a certain adeptus will drop off an extra present for her. Not much: a flower, more “Cocomilk,” or a dish of Almond Tofu. Qiqi doesn’t react much when Baizhu tells her of her special visitor, but he’s caught a smile on her face when she admires the gift later.
Today, it goes like this: “I don’t… know.”
That’s okay. Baizhu has a plan. He’ll make it special in a small way, in a way that neither overwhelms her nor ignores her special day.
No matter if the day itself is her “birth” day, or if it is not.
