I am uneducated on vitamins and what they do for you, I only know the basics, however I did do research before posting. This is a disclaimer that I am not a doctor, and your general practitioner knows best for you. I made this into an everyday vitamin guide instead, as it is a lot more simpler for me and to avoid misinformation ��

About vitamins that best support you when consumed on a daily basis! I used food instead of supplements because of no specification.

TWST Signature Spell Effects on the Body
Because I'm a wordy, purple-prose kinda bish, I thought about what each Unique Magic might actually feel like on the body (at least the ones that affect other mages when cast). (SPOILERS FOR BOOKS 5 ONWARD)

Off With Your Head:
The moment it slaps around your neck and shoulders, there's that deafening rush of blood to one's ears. If you and your magic were lightning, the collar just became your glass bottle. Outside of the momentary dulling of senses, one may  have a general difficulty breathing, either from the collar fitting itself or the lack of support without one's magic. Lightheadedness and an internal hollowness make the collar leave you feeling like after a flu.

Bet the Limit:
His magic literally amplifies and pushes back your magic, but to do that he has to rip control of it from you. Bet the Limit gives one that jerking tug on the shoulders, a jab of pain that burns into your neck almost. Sometimes if one resists or tries to wrench control back, they're left feeling like their shoulders have been dislocated. They haven't of course, but the feeling is still enough to keep one from moving them for a while.

Doodle Suit:
There's a metallic, fruity Sichuan peppercorn-like numbing on the senses before it's replaced with what he decides. Pretty straightforward.
(Legit tho: I think his is kinda scary in terms of utility. The possibilities o_o )

King's Roar:
Burning. King's roar doesn't have fire but there's still a dry burn. Rug or rope burn, an allergic reaction, or being splashed with hydrogen peroxide, it all makes the nerves curl away like shriveling plants. Skin on downwards begins flaking like baked mud, falling off into sand like chunks of slate.

Laugh With Me:
Laugh With Me at first feels like the pinch of nerves. But pulling against the bindings is like hyena teeth biting and yanking your muscle and bones; you're not in control. That tugging hurts much less, more of a firm mouthing on your body in whatever direction he wants.

It's A Deal:
Much like his flattering words, his magic leaves one feeling glittery. But there's a cold tentacle-like grip on the heart for a quick moment; a reminder of what lies in the undertow. It's not a memorable sensation, but memorable enough to know what happens when it returns upon failing to fulfill your end of a contract. The resulting Anemone doesn't feel like much until one touches it, like a large zit.)

Shock the Heart:
The sudden wash over you feels like the splash of cold water after getting dumped out of a boat. Pharyngeal jaws scrape and tug on your tongue to reel you in, truth dripping off of you like seawater. 
(Truth is a lot of times subjective so why nerf it further? HC he can use it multiple times but lies cause it works on those unaware)

Oasis Maker:
Rain that's always the perfect refreshing temperature. Never frigid but never feeling hot. A relaxing shower of jasmine and chai, without the stifling steam

Snake Whisper:
A burning cobra bite to the skull. It's venom sears every wrinkle in the brain as you feel yourself get pulled along by the collar of proverbial tail coiled around your neck. Resistance feels like hot sand filling your brain cavity. Eventually the oppressive weight of said sand makes one submit.

Sleep Kiss:
 Sleep Kiss seems pretty straightforward. It probably feels like sitting in a soundproof glass box, with cold air filtered in. Every chilly inhale acts like anesthesia, or the tug of exhaustion by hypothermia.

Fae of Maleficence:
His 'Blessing' feels like being laid into a patch of semi-prickly twigs; a dragon's nest or roost. It hurts slightly, but the diligence is paid to lay you gently in so they don't prick. Eventually you can somewhat relax, but adjusting or moving reminds one of the thorny poking all around you. It just becomes preferable to sit still, rather than try waking or even attempt at getting comfortable.

Many mistake Silver to have soft hair, but the only downy lightness about him, I think, is Meet in a Dream. Whatever sensations one feels when dreaming of flying, that fills you to buoyancy as he leads you along the Dream Corridor.

They have less tolerance for fluctuations and are often unstable and ungrounded . Since , air is in the element if not managed makes a person quite self-centered and selfish .
Disbalanced :
People with unbalanced vata are quite fearful nerves and anxious because of this , they face economic hardships , even because of the tendency to spend quickly while earning quickly too. It may lead to vata diseases mentioned above before .

Well , there are many but some of them are as follows :
Dryness : Skin , hairs , ears, lips and joints.
Internal - Dryness : bloat gas , constipation , dehydration , weight loss

These are as follows :
Hydrate : Drink as much water you can you to hydrate yourself but one thing that is too remember don't go for drinking 3-4 L as science says because according to ayurveda any body has its own fluid need to find yours and keep it consistent.
Change to seasonal Diet : Avoid eating raw or rough foods when you are already in a disbalanced state of vata because it will dry you more instead go for cooked , warm , salty , sweet and sour foods . Eat 3 times a day.
Sleep early : If you sleep late and not early than it will lead to imbalancement of vata quickly so sleep by 10 pm and wake up by 4am . For those Who cannot wake up by 4 am you can go for 6 am .
Oiling before bath : Oil your body either with sesame/almond or coconut oil before bath because it will help you to balance out vata .
Chant Mantra : Mantras are powerful and effective to balance your vata . They have their scientific proof of being effective. You can go for this one - Om Dhanwantare Namo Shiva Sakshathkaraya / ॐ धन्वन्तरे नमो शिवा साक्षातकराये|
Hand Mudras and mediation : For hand mudras you can for : Gyan , shunya and Akash while meditating .

The dominant traits are as follows :
Slimmer build, lightweight, either very tall or short .
They have sharp minds and actions, mentally very fast and may appear a bit cold to others .
They may have thinner skin and hair, prone to dryness as discussed before in post.
They may have oval, narrow face, and smaller eyes.
They may have Light sleep, possibly interrupted, dreams full of movement
They do have lower stamina with bursts of activity.
Drawn to creative activities, dance, and travel
They run quite fastly than the others .

Scarecrow Leg Observations/Headcanons
aka I thought about it too much and now it's everyone else's problem.

(important note: I am not in the medical field and I learned/looked up a lot of this with the help of Dr. Google)
The leg brace seems like a simple detail which can be overlooked in the larger design. On the surface, it's pretty straight forward: leg got damaged and now needs an orthopedic brace to function. This in and of itself is interesting since the artist undoubtedly referenced actual braces, specifically old ones, to fit Scarecrow's aesthetic:

This is a running theme with him; he seems to favor old, antique items and will repair things (like the use of duct tape or zigzag stitching for tears on his costume) before replacing them, which fits an image of someone coming from a background of poverty. Not entirely important to the conversation, just an interesting aside.
There is official material which states his leg is "permanently broken", which is probably the easiest, most succinct way to state this issue, but it's not entirely an accurate way to put it. If a leg is considered broken beyond repair, it's likely to be amputated. Bones which don't heal correctly the first time can be broken again and realigned to heal properly, often through surgery with the use of pins, rods, plates, and/or screws. However, "permanently broken" could also be implying he has suffered irreparable nerve damage which affects the use of the leg (more on that in a moment). One possibility: The bones in Scarecrow's leg do not heal properly due to the severity of his fractures likely needing surgery. Unable to access such resources after his run-in with Croc, this results in a malunion. In his case, the misalignment could be subtle as there is no obvious bend or twist in his leg, but still causes problems which requires use of a brace.
Another possibility: Perhaps he is lucky and his leg does heal well. Maybe there's no malunion at all. Unfortunately, whether the bones mend together well or not, evidence strongly implies that it was broken seriously enough that it damaged his peroneal nerve, leading to muscle weakness and foot drop, which necessitates the use of the brace to function.

If you look closely, you can see there is additional support around Scarecrow's ankle that would otherwise prevent rotation of that joint. You can see this in the game when he circles Batman on the airship:

When he takes a step with his good leg, the foot remains more parallel to the floor. Compare that to the foot in the brace, where the toes point upward with each stride due to being in a fixed position. I feel this is a strong indication of him having lasting damage here (such as foot drop) and part of why the leg brace is vital to his mobility (and undoubtedly one of many reasons why he's so furious at Batman).
Something like this often has trickle down effects. Having to compensate for a weaker limb can throw the body off balance, especially if it's a leg. This can create joint and back pain outside of (or in addition to) the issues related to the initial trauma. Combined with the other things he has had to deal with, there is something to be said of Scarecrow's tenacity. He is very driven and ambitious, even if it's the pure, seething drive for vengeance which causes him to persevere. It's a quality one can admire. :)

I have a headcanon that while Ford's polydactyly is fully functional, his carpal tunnel in each hand (protective sheathing around the nerves that control the wrist/fingers) didn't expand to accommodate the nerves for the extra finger, and the spare tendons for said extra fingers in his wrists and forearms put a lot of pressure on the already cramped carpal tunnels, leading to Ford developing carpal tunnel syndrome later in life. He's a man who works with his hands constantly, putting stress on his wrists and hands without consideration, so when he notices his fingertips sometimes get numb and tingly or his grip strength fails him sometimes, it's just another reason for him to be angry at his own hands.
It's not so bad once he comes back from the multiverse, he's no longer running for his life and now he has access to wrist braces that can help support him when he uses fiddly lab tools for too long or he writes at odd angles when anomaly hunting, but it still pisses him off when his wrists twinge and he can't do what he used to be able to. He more often than not puts off using his braces until he absolutely has to. He does his best to hide his discomfort and annoyance, but let's be real, that man has no poker face.
When Reader eventually learns about Ford's carpal tunnel issue, they're pissed at first. This stupid, stubborn man will take care of everything and everyone except for himself 😡. But eventually as Reader learns Ford's tells for when his hands are acting up, they start leaving out Ford's braces in places where he'll see them, or leaving out printouts of stretches that are supposed to help with carpal tunnel syndrome. If Reader is in Ford's vicinity when they know he's in pain and he can see their "gifts," they glare at him until he puts one or both braces on to soothe his abused nerves and tendons or starts doing a stretch in idle time
Maybe once Ford and Reader get closer/get together, or even just get more comfortable with each other, Reader offers to massage Ford's hands. Ford blushes like a madman and tries to tell them that he's fine, really, but Reader isn't having it and eventually they're set up sitting across from each other as Reader works their way down Ford's arms. They start at his forearms, halfway between his wrist and elbow, digging their thumbs in and loosening all the knotted up muscle and connective tissue, soothing the years' worth of tension from repetitive stress injuries. As they work further and further down Ford's arm to his wrist and eventually his palm and fingers, Ford is loose and very, very relaxed. It takes a bit for him to let go, to work past the shame and let himself be cared for, but once he does he completely sinks into the nice, warm feeling of Reader's hands and euphoria of slight pain followed by a wonderful release of tension.
Sometimes when Reader does this, it turns into a kind of foreplay for them, Ford getting incredibly turned on by the meticulous attention they're giving him and his hands. They purr to him that he's being so good, letting them look after him and making him feel good. On those days, once Reader is done with both hands and Ford is completely limp...let's just say Ford isn't allowed to use his hands for the rest of the night 😉
(This headcanon was inspired by my own struggles with carpal tunnel syndrome. I started developing it over the past year or so, mostly due to not taking breaks or using incorrect posture when using lab equipment. I've never been good with giving myself breaks, and that combined with consistently doing bench work for at least the past four years makes it no surprise that I developed it so young (I'm 24, which is considered a very young age to start having carpal tunnel issues). I often get frustrated because my hands aren't as reliable as they used to be. Stretches have helped immensely, but I often have days where just resting my arms on a table wrong can make my fingers start to go numb. So now I'm projecting my issues onto Ford bc it makes me feel better 😊)

There's very little I can add because this is just so perfect and sweet! I never really thought about potential physical difficulties Ford might encounter in that sense. I've only had carpal tunnel in a minor way but it was so painful, and I can totally see how he might suffer from it.
He would definitely suck at knowing his limit and even when he hit it, knowing when to then take care of himself. 100% you'd have to step in to steer him in the right direction and be a little forceful about it.
I think there would be something special for him in watching you give his hands such intense affection. Considering his own conflicted feelings around them, he'd be very taken aback by the ease with which you'd touch him and very pleased by it, too.
If you've already got pre-existing anatomical knowledge then you could definitely use it as an excuse to show off your smarts a bit, naming the tendons and muscles and explaining to him why he has to be so careful with things because he'll really do himself a mischief if he isn't more conscious of it all. You could even compliment the form of his forearm/hands, too. Y'know, from a purely aesthetic and very medically minded point of view.... :p
There's definitely the ability to move into an area of sensuality with it because massage can be very erotic, especially if you're adding oils and stuff to the mix. That glide over the skin is really something.... I like the idea that he's banned from using his hands if things take that kind of turn!! You could even tie them up to ensure he's not tempted to try.... Nothing too restrictive given that he'd be sore anyway, but just something simple around his wrists to prevent him from reaching out.
That chronic pain shit is a real- well, pain LMAO. I hope you're able to get some relief with your stretches and stuff <3 Like I said, I've only ever had it minorly when I worked in a call centre and was taking notes all day constantly, but that was more than enough. It sucks to say the least. Listen, we loveeeeee giving Ford our chronic pain issues here!! God knows he's got plenty of reason to have them, bless him.

Too often, martial arts are viewed through a narrow lens—either as a form of self-defense or as a health-promoting activity. But in truth, the classical systems of martial arts were never fragmented this way. The best traditions understood that combat effectiveness and health cultivation were intertwined. One refined the other.
At its core, martial arts training is about preparing the body and mind for function under pressure—physical, mental, and even moral. This preparation must include both damage potential (the ability to subdue an opponent) and damage tolerance (the ability to endure and recover). The training methods are therefore designed with dual outcomes: to make the practitioner a more capable fighter and a more resilient, healthier person.
Take, for example, traditional training tools like stance work and form practice. To the untrained eye, they might appear as slow or even ornamental. But these exercises cultivate muscular endurance, joint stability, spinal alignment, and breath control—all of which contribute to generating power and maintaining body integrity in combat.
Similarly, breath-regulated movement and coordinated spirals or coiling (as seen in many Chinese internal styles) teach practitioners how to mobilize force efficiently through the fascia and tendons, not just muscle. This reduces injury risk while increasing striking effectiveness. In combat, this translates to greater speed, impact, and control. In health, it supports circulation, posture, and even organ function.
Conditioning drills—whether it's iron palm training, body toughening, or controlled impact work—are not simply about taking hits. When done correctly, they involve recovery protocols that promote blood flow, stimulate nerve adaptation, and build internal resilience. The practitioner doesn't just survive combat better—they age better.
This blend of “hardening” and “healing” is not coincidental. It’s by design. Many martial systems have paired combat drills with restorative practices: herbal liniments, massage techniques, breathwork, and meditation. These were not afterthoughts—they were integral, recognizing that the longevity of a warrior depends not just on how he fights, but how he recovers.
In an age of specialization, martial arts remind us of the value of integrated training. You don’t need to choose between fitness and fighting skill, between physical therapy and performance. Traditional methods—when properly understood—offer both.
Martial arts training, when approached holistically, becomes not only a way to defend life but to cultivate it.

latest weird new medical problem is constantly, constantly craning my head forward in a way i did not either used to, or feel like i needed to. even lying down or reclining, im pysically holding my head forward away from my shoulders even when im not supporting the weight. efforts to consciously correct this over rthe last few days have done nothing except make my neck hurt. ive started having to do physical surveys of my body to check for unconscious clenching everywhere, and manually resetting it, but this method doesnt seem to be working so i dont think it's what doctors call a "functional" problem, ie, user error/bad habit/shitty posture. i feel like some sort of contracture is happening on a level that is one or two levels past "just been stting like a shrimp too long", either nerve decay is causing bad muscle firing or possibly additional instability is causing clenching as a stability compensation. i know the physical exercises to do to counteract bad posture habits and those arent helping either, this seems either neurological or nerve related
but nothing has changed recently to cause this. adderall can definitely cause muscle clenching but my dose is low and hasnt changed in ten years.

Catnap: poppy flower as known does cause a fatigue affect but also has traces of opioids, along with that it also analgesia (inability to feel pain.), euphoria (the laughter), respiratory depression (breath shallow leading to build up of carbon dioxide in the blood.), decreased gastrointestinal mobility (digestive problems resulted when nerves or muscles in the gut do not work in a coordinated way.), and physical & psychological dependency.

academic people since just taking about it - how not all disabled ppl have PhD n can read PhD level stuff. how there people in special education never taught how to read how there people with intellectual n cognitive disabilities who can’t read. n those people still disabled still people included when you write “disabled people.” how regardless of other experiences other oppressions if you have PhD (etc) you pretty privileged n maybe should remember that next time u write something.

Settling Siren, the deep dream, and dream rot
This is something I can't present with accompanying art so I will present it with accompanying prose, from an anonymous archaeologist's research paper on the mechanism by which the very first human on Siren was 'born'. I wrote a whole bunch like this and I'd like to share it some day as a type of web serial thing, following two parallel in-universe stories separated by thousands of years (the story of Ishmael, the first human born on Siren, and the story of the archaeologist uncovering the past who was forced into hiding and had to publish this stuff anonymously) but it's early stages for now.
But one bit of the world that I'm happy with is the dream & delayed birth, a way to grow a human during long space voyages so that they can be old enough to work (or study, in this case) when the voyage is over. This means they grow up in a false reality, and may only take their first breaths when they're years old. More valuable humans just get cryogenically frozen and don't age, creating a two-tiered system. Anyway the writing below explains it better than I can, check it out
The Lonely Sailor was owned by Atom GeneWeave and would carry a cargo container full of fertilised Human eggs to the new world. These were known as embryos and were mostly held in a frozen state, but there were twenty of them which were not frozen. They were placed in false amniotic sacs and allowed to continue growing throughout the entire voyage of The Lonely Sailor, even though the adult Humans themselves would be frozen, too.
Dan Lorvis slotted his first viable attempt at life into the cargo hold last, knowing that it would be the first to wake. He used a computer machine called a Deep Dreamer to monitor the growing life, and encoded within it an operation called ‘Athletic_Boy_Childhood_03.deepdr‘. He wrote on the amniotic sac the name of his creation: Ishmael 1© property of ATOM GENEWEAVE®.
Dan Lorvis then settled himself into a sleeping chamber which would freeze him harmlessly for the duration of the voyage.
The journey from Ceti to Siren would take seven years. Ishmael grew from fertilised egg to embryo and then became a baby in the normal period of time that these things take. But he was not born then. He remained asleep, dreaming that he was living a Human childhood.
Contemporary scholars such as ourselves can only guess at what he dreamed of, as the memory encoded into him was designed to fade, leaving behind only the lessons that Atom felt were necessary for him to learn, to function normally and not emerge from the seven year journey in a feral state. He learned how to speak, how to read and write, all without ever having taken a single breath. When he was old enough, he moved his body as though he were engaging in games of chase and team sports, and this allowed his muscles to develop.

The embryo cargo pod was offloaded thirty-nine days after landing on Siren, still in the first year. Five days later, Ishmael’s amniotic sac was drained, and his deep dream interrupted by his birth.
The last moment of his encoded dream was common to all artificial dreams, designed to ease the transition into true waking life. He was falling asleep in his bed (an archaic sort of bower), his body feeling tired but satisfied after a day of typical, perfectly generic childhood games. He had something called a mother in this dream who pulled the blankets around his shoulders and kissed him as he drifted off, though he did not remember what their face looked like, only that they instilled within him a sense of perfect safety.
His moment of calm was soon eaten by sensation. It was cold, he realised. Colder than anything he had ever felt. The fluid that had supported him at a constant temperature for seven years was draining away and he reached out, to grab at the blanket he half-remembered. His nerves were alight with new sensations and the world was so bright it felt that he was staring into Odr’s eye.
Dan Lorvis described Ishmael as strong and healthy, but he didn’t feel that way. Everything was loud and bright and his body was so heavy. He had never truly experienced gravity, but that alone did not account for the disconnect. His dream had been the dream of a Precursor Human, a bipedal creature with a fully upright stance, straighter even than a shortwing’s, with no tail, no flippers, no phocid morphology. To the newborn Ishmael’s mind, he had just undergone a horrifying transformation, and his body was wrong.

Cherta, who gave their name to the wandering moon, was the fifth born beta phocid. There is very little to distinguish Cherta from the rest of the group, at this early stage, but I have on file their original description - “‘Cherta’, named for a sponsor of the project who donated three million nua*. Unisex ‘phocid’ of the Beta generation. Born age 10 years and 5 months, in [Year 3]. Melanistic colouring was chosen as protection against solar radiation, but it is expressed in heterogenous patches with a strong dorsal stripe. Length 5’1 nose to tailtip at time of birth and weight 54kg. Unusually violent birth, needed sedation.” In fact, Cherta assaulted Dan Loris’s assistants as they were born, reacting to the event as though it were an invasion of the bedroom of their dream. It was by all accounts an auspicious start compared to the others, and perhaps an indication that Cherta’s experience with the deep dream was not standard.
Cherta had fallen victim to another rare phenomenon of the incubator, referred to by Dan Loris as ‘dream rot’. This occurrence is a result of differences in the receiving brain, rather than the dream machine itself. The brain begins to understand, in some form, that what it is witnessing is not reality, and the structure of the dream begins to unravel.
At the time of Cherta’s delayed birth, the dream had been in the early stages of this process. If allowed to continue for too long, permanent damage to the psyche’s ability to judge reality is the result. Cherta would be haunted by this for the remainder of their life and suffer from regular seizures that severely reduced their ability to swim like any other phocid, but it was not severe enough to significantly alter their treatment compared to the other beta phocids.
