Food/meals are always a big difficulty for me with ADHD - remembering to eat, deciding what to eat, actually making meals, getting tired of a favorite/safe food at a random millisecond during eating, etc. 
I was thinking though I need to get back into a Mediterranean diet. That way of eating always really resonates with me; it’s so delicious and fresh and just “feels right” to me somehow lol. And it’s good for you but they’re not afraid of healthy fats. And it’s more seafood focused than other meats which I like too. I could keep going...
I just always get so excited for those recipes - I can never get enough tomatoes and basil and mozzarella and olive oil and balsamic, etc... Food of the gods 🤤
In other news, another day, another attempt to get back to the gym. On Friday night I didn’t get home until around 5:30am and was asleep at maybe 6am, so yesterday was a weird and blah day. Been years since I did a night like that... But I’m wanting to be a little less blah today. Been feeling weaker lately especially, I don’t like it... 😓

Eu vou dar uma puta dica pra vocês que estão tentando retomar o controle e estão falhando miseravelmente:
Não é em um passe de mágica que sua alimentação e sua cabeça vão mudar, então prestem atenção:
1- Façam 4 refeições leves por dia, sem se preocupar em contar calorias, mas com consciência de que está comendo completamente LIMPO. Fique atenta a não colocar coisas doces na sua ingestão durante o dia, uma pequena sobremesa depois do almoço vai ser suficiente (acredite em mim), não adicionar manteiga ou coisas totalmente dispensáveis na comida etc. Pense magro.
2- Depois de um tempo, seu corpo vai se acostumar aos padrões do passo número 1, e quando você estiver totalmente focada nessa alimentação, aí sim volte a contar calorias e MACROS (são muito importantes). Porém não coloque uma meta por dia, ainda é muita pressão pra quem ainda não está habituada, só se conscientize do quanto e o que você está comendo (baixem o FatSecret, vai salvar vocês nisso), se você perceber que não está comendo coisas com bons valores nutricionais, vai acabar mudando sua dieta.
3- Quando o segundo passo acabar, você vai estar pronta para restringir e fazer qualquer dieta, porque nenhum dos números de quantidades de calorias daquelas dietinhas prontas da internet não vão te assustar. Vai poder fazer a ABC, Skinny Girl Diet, Healthy Skinny Girl Diet etc, porque você já vai estar mentalmente controlada.
Adendos importantes:
- Se você gosta de doces, esse hábito de comer apenas uma sobremesa depois do almoço vai te ajudar MUITO a controlar a vontade de doces. Também existem opções mais saudáveis, menos calóricas e gostosas de sobremesas, é só pesquisar.
- É inquestionável a necessidade de pelo menos 1h de exercícios 6x por semana. Isso é indispensável, pode fazer até mais, mas nunca menos que isso.
- Metade do prato é salada (pode adicionar frutas também), um pedaço de proteína e uma porção pequena de carboidrato (pelo amor de Deus, algum que te forneça energia e seja saudável).
- Você vai passar a se culpar muito menos quando por exemplo, sair com seus amigos e comer uma besteira, porque você sabe que vai ter controle e tem noção da sua rotina.
- Esse estilo de vida é pra quem tem disciplina, se você não tiver, vá buscar, porque os resultados são bons.
- Não esqueçam de repor as vitaminas, minerais, colágeno etc.
- Dê preferência a água como líquido e beba bastante. Chás também.
- Você vai notar que sua vontade compulsiva de comida vai simplesmente reduzir drasticamente, e sua necessidade de organizar sua vida vai ser bem maior.
- Talvez um dia você perca o controle e destoe desse estilo de vida, mas pra que isso não aconteça, faça escolhas mais saudáveis na hora de se “descontrolar”. Se por exemplo, você for sair com amigos para comer pizza, escolha a menos calórica e coma no máximo duas fatias, seu estômago já vai estar treinado pra se satisfazer com pouco.
- Não deixe de ter vida social por causa da comida. Lembre: você controla ela, e não o contrário. Sair não significa literalmente ser obrigada a comer ou então comer o que seus amigos estão comendo.
- Sobre safe foods: elas são safe pra não contar calorias, mas faça como eu, divida a comida com alguém, coma porções menores e não faça escolhas exageradas, senão a culpa vem no fim do dia e as safes viram fear foods.
E mais uma vez: VOCÊ controla a comida, ela não te controla.

Haven’t been taking good care of myself. I haven’t been to the gym in about 3 weeks, and even then I was just doing strength training about twice a week. No cardio, not enough daily steps, not enough water, diet was really hit or miss. I kept wanting to get things going but had been struggling to take myself any further. And of course my diet is more-so on the “miss” side more recently with the holidays.
I want to use the refreshing new year to get back on track and refocus, as so many do. My bf is in the same mindset - he was saying although 2022 has been good, he doesn’t feel good about having a pretty stagnant year physically and wants to start walking and get back to his Peloton.
I’d also like to get into therapy with the new year. I’ve been wanting it for a while as some of you may know and have struggled in regard to getting something solid due to financials or my insurance. But I now know what my insurance will be next year and I wasn’t required to switch to a shitty plan that I thought I was going to have to take. So now I can call the person my psychiatrist referred me to a couple months ago.
One newer thing is I’ve suddenly gotten super into adult color by number books. I bought one about a week ago and only have one of the 27 pictures left undone. I use Crayola Super Tip markers which I love; it’s so satisfying to just glide it along the edge of a line, and they can be fine or bold. So much more satisfying than colored pencils IMO haha. Almost reminds me of the glide of a paintbrush. And color by number is so much better for me than regular coloring books because with the latter, I stress too much that I’m not picking the “right” color since I’m not really artistic.
Anyway, I’ve ordered 2 more books now, both with over 90 pictures each lol... I get so hyper-focused on them, I swear I almost can’t stop sometimes. But it’s so much better of an activity than rewatching the same shows or taking in toxic shit on the internet. And it’s something to do with my hands, which is really good for me; if I’m just watching or listening to something and my hands aren’t occupied with eating or smoking weed or scrolling on my phone, then they want to be eating or smoking weed or scrolling on my phone... Cross-stitch is also good but a little less mindless and a little harder on my fingers, so I don’t turn to it as easily as this. This is almost becoming a compulsion lol. Definitely worse things in the world though.

Girl I’m tryna get skinny for summer what do you rec??
I’d say fasting if you’re against one meal a day having 2\3 very satisfying and clean meals will keep you from eating extra calories. Cut out as much sugar and calories from what you drink THAT will shave pounds off you and will give you more calories to actually EAT . I have a calorie tracker but that can mess some people up so if you think you can handle it set your goal to what’s healthy for your height and age. Core work outs are ALWAYS beneficial it’s kind of sad when you’re not immediately getting results but any of those workouts that involve moving your legs will have you burning. The combo is kind of essential because you can lose weight with diets but working out will give you the tone and shape you’re probably looking for and working out won’t work if your diet doesn’t change (unfortunately) eating clean is hard and expensive so it really means eating as much meat and vegetables you can. TUNA SANDWICHES ARE AMAZING for satisfaction so much protein too. Sometimes it feels like you need to be rich to be healthy but it is possible I dropped over 30 pounds my freshman year in like four months.

Read this inadvertently feedisty thing on reddit about how being fat is so taxing that it is calorically draining. Sure, It's obvious... but who doesn't like it being pointed out in a crude, medically accurate manner?
Even the weakest fatties have the strength/strain to move extra weight with every gesture. Deep inside every obese girl are muscles that skinny people simply don't have. I have to lift weights to earn my strength. You get yours from reaching across the table, from stretching your legs out on the couch. From existing. Every motion equals fatigue that triggers a need for more food.
Let's say you're a dreamy farm animal. You like to sit. You don't like to get up. Too bad. Your body fights against the pulling and heaviness all the same. A diaphragm that instinctually operates all the same, but against inches and inches of fat. Your tits are big? Guess what, that's dead weight that your lungs fight to expand against. Every breath taking more out of you than your feeder would ever consider for their own sake. Stabilizer muscles, like the ones that keep your back straight, your posture upright... those too have to hold up against the pull of your belly, the thickness of your waist.
Finally, your heart. Each beat tasked with getting blood to your increasing belly hang. All that surreal, "is that really me" parts of your hips that don't even register due to being so far away from your reach? Your heart and lungs work so very earnestly in keeping them well and healthy.
It's no wonder you get so hungry. Setting feeding goals become moot. Your body is telling you that it needs energy to upkeep your lifestyle. A creeping lifestyle at that. One would think the cycle is horrifying. Living is a burden, and food helps to satisfy those needs.
How are you going to deny me telling you that you're a big, strong girl who needs her energy to stay well and healthy? You work SO hard to be you. Isn't it cute? Your body is practically begging you to keep eating. Hunger is a reminder that you are losing your precious calorie surplus. I mean, we can't let THAT happen.
Which is why it's so important to keep to a steady diet of extra calories. There are surely bigger girls than you out in the world. It can be done. In fact, I think it's time to up your intake. What's another couple hundred calories? A mere snack for the purpose of keeping you from weakness. I want the others to be jealous about your dedication to keeping well.

zoro doesn’t understand why the cook is so skinny
he is the gym freak so he’s always helping the crew build muscles - but with sanji he just stays the same?
he also questions why sanji chooses to do smaller workouts for muscles he hasn’t even heard of
chopper does know all the medical records of the crew- he knows the limits and can be upset when it’s ignored-
sanji always has to check up with chopper because his body - while he takes care of it- can break easily
zoro gets annoyed by this and try’s to confront him- he’s confused and mistakes this as him holding back (kunia flashbacks similarity)
pop- zoro has unintentionally dislocated sanjis shoulder and promptly freaks the fuck out- 1 he would never hurt the crew intentionally that is actually HURTING the crew- ie sanjis hand to should ratio is always off limits
anyway sanji is used to this- while he is more careful about his arms it still makes him upset
they cool off for a bit away from each other. zoro comes back to help apply kt tape and they talk
sanji explains that even though he is strong. strong enough to fight zoro and others- doesn’t mean he doesn’t have limits. even now- he cant feel them since wci so he needs to be more careful
everytime he gets hit- yeah he doesn’t feel it- or his body fixes itself now- doesn’t mean it’s good. his joints and muscles suffered damage when he was younger- his body isn’t magically 100% at most it’s a solid 60% and even with the regeneration he needs to be careful.
each time it happens he can feel a shift. he can feel a slight change- he isn’t as accurate, a slight tremble turns into a noticeable one on a bad day
he explains this and how even zoro himself should look into more then main muscles- that he looks out for the crew the best he can in diet but there’s only so much he can do
it’s why he does yoga and pilates with the girls (franky and brooke too)
he does resistant training with luffy
he doesn’t over exert himself on one training method or anything else- he takes his time because that’s what he needs
zoro learns all this and after helping sanji apply tape and stretch he fucking dissapears for a week (how on a ship he will never know)
zoro comes out a week later having read 10 books on anatomy and exercise methods (5 from chopper and 2 from robin ans 3 from sanjis collection)
zoro is still a drill sargent in the gym but he curates his workouts more- he talks to sanji about what the crew needs. heck he has meetings with sanji and chopper about keeping the crew healthy and top shape
zoro corners sanji in the bath later and he sees this as him being the most vulnerable just like sanji opening up to him
so he opens up about not only wanting to be the best because of his promise but because he cares for the crew that death is too unkind and quick and he wants to make sure everyone is safe, ready and able
sanji kicks him for corning him the bath of all places but understands
he opens a bit about how he was raised how he sees things and in that moment something just kinda clicks in his head and instead of freaking out it’s just a long groan of “wow how did i only notice now”
and he’s like welp whatever i guess then kisses zoro and idk they have sex you choose wink
