“A Macigian never reveals their secrets. A Witch even less so.”
Well, you had a good run. For the last 70 or so years that you've had your little shop in Esmar's capital, nothing overly exciting happened. Apart from the occasional political changes and economical shifts, you could mostly carry on business as usual. But when the Fae calling herself your "best and only friend" invites you to pull a heist on your rival's home you didn't realize what effect that stunt would have on your immortal life.
But damn, you really wanted that statue back.
Play Demo
Witch Blood is an upcoming urban fantasy interactive fiction story where you take on the role of one of the last proper witches of Esmar, hoping to resolve a very time-sensitive mystery that might cost you your own life if you don’t get on with the investigation soon.
Does it have to do with random people’s head exploding?
Is this the reason you seem to have more prophetic dreams than usual?
Why are there so many strangers storming into your shop demanding answers you couldn’t possibly know?
And why does your familiar keep eating your receipts? You need those for your taxes!
Create your very own witch. Appearance, personality, gender and sexuality... All that Jazz
Choose a furry (or non-furry) companion for your immortal life
Become a master of 5 witchy skills that may or may not help you along the road
Keep your business afloat (you got bills to pay, after all)
Solve a mystery, save a bunch of people, and meet the Gods (???)
Find love, friendship, or rivalry (or maybe all three of them at the same time) with 5 different people who will. Not. Leave. You. Alone.
And for the love of the Gods: please stop spitting coins

So far it will probably be a 16+ kind of rating for:
Mentions of violence, blood and gore
Strong language, cursing
Suggestive language
but things might change. I’ll keep you updated in any case.
The Best Friend: Faith (f)
Flirty and flighty, Faith is certainly living her best life. And while she’s not always the most reliable of friends, she always shows up for your weekly tea and gossip session (and more often than not with baked goods as well). If you’re looking for a fun night out: Faith is your gal. Don’t ask how she pays for all of it without having a job though.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The Knight in Shining Armor: Isaac (m)
A stranger visiting your shop and ... flirting with you? Thankfully you’ve lived long enough to see through his ploy and stay unaffacted to his charms. Mostly. With a quick smile, a stance almost too relaxed and some really suspicious questions you can’t quite get a read on him. And you have the feeling he is also not really a tourist interested in your special sale items.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The Loyal Advisor: Eli (f/m/nb)
Another stranger. This one seems much more honest than the last one but somehow you haven’t decided yet if you appreciate that or not. They say there is a problem their employer has sent them to hopefully solve and after some extensive research you seemed to be the least untrustworthy person of your craft to potentially help. You can’t quite tell from their stoic face if that sentence was supposed to be a compliment, a joke or very subtle sarcasm. But the pay they offer is nothing to turn your nose up at and you’ve worked for way shadier people.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The Crazy Mushroom: Mezilkree (f/m/nb)
Mezilkree has been a frequent visitor of yours for quite some years. Mostly they just hang out at your shop and try to scare potential customers. When you try to make them leave they declare they are a customer, throw a bottle cap on your counter and shove a handful of candy from the jar you keep for kids in their mouth. Sometimes they even do buy something if they’re on an errand for their family, but as their community grows more and more resentful of non-mushrooms this occasion becomes rarer and rarer. In the many years of botherment, you have found Mezilkree to be a mischievous but sweet troublemaker. Some of the time, at least.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The Other Witch: Levan (nb)
An Enemy. A Fiend. Your Immortal Rival. Most of the time you and Levan stay clear of each other, as is agreed upon in your Contract of Geniality. But now they have decided to steal a very valuable artifact you have spent months on locating. At least you’re pretty sure it was them, who else would be skilled enough to enter your home. Even though you don’t particularly get along, Levan is a witch you have known for the longest of time. But because of their spiteful nature and (admittedly somewhat deserved) arrogance you have long decided to avoid them, lest you burn down the whole town in a fit of anger. They really know how to push your buttons.

Hello my lovelies! This is a first attempt at Interactive Fiction, and on an even more important to note: a first real attempt at writing. I hope it doesn’t suck too much! Also please forgive orthographic and grammatical errors, English isn’t my first language :) (if you see something, say something tho)
Currently the prologue is in the works and will face some editing and expanding.
Until then,
Love, Carter

12 Autumnal Reads With Pan Rep
As the days grow longer in the Northern hemisphere we don more layers, grab a hot drink, and say goodbye to summer. While maybe too cuddling up with a book. In similar fashion to the past for Pan Pride Day with wintry stories, and Pan Visibility Day for sunny reads, this time I’ve put together a list of examples offering pan rep set around the autumn season. Across demographics, several genres, and various lengths, the cozy to murderous, feasibly one will fit that next read. But no matter what may suit one’s tastes and whims, as always happy reading! (For content notes please see my reviews on Storygraph.)
A Strange and Stubborn Endurance by Foz Meadows, boasting a gorgeous autumn leaf themed cover, is a hefty first installment in the fantasy series the The Tithenai Chronicles. An unprecedented surprise diplomatic marriage between nobles Velasin vin Aro (gay) and Caethari Xai Aeduria, (bi/pan) sparks more than attraction. Violence, murder, and a hefty dose of intrigue swirl.
The Adventures of Isabel by Candas Jane Dorsey, the first in the Epitome Apartments Mystery series with a cast of colorful characters, is an offbeat mystery. Opening in September, at its center a coarse Canadian ex-social worker turned clueless amateur detective (bisexual/ambisexual/pansexual). Convinced to investigate the murder of a friend’s granddaughter, more than a case will end up cracking.
All the Things We Do in the Dark by Saundra Mitchell is a YA psychological thriller. Set in small-town Maine in October and told by Ava (pan), a 17-year-old with PTSD who stumbles on the body of a murdered teenage girl. Scared, haunted, and distrustful she’ll sleuth out a killer while trying to hold herself together. Author Saundra Mitchell is also pansexual. Note this is furthermore a title that has been banned in some libraries in the US.
Bride of the Corpse King by Emily Shore is a New Adult dark fantasy retelling of Hades and Persephone. Needing the winnings for her family, Isla Adayra (pansexual) enters the Bone Games. Further to escape a match with a dreadful lascivious Elder, she’ll offer herself to one more powerful the Corpse King. Allysteir accepted his duty of the gods’ Curse, but year after year the cost bearing the spirit of the God of Death weighs heavily. Allysteir doesn’t want another bride, but Isla just might be strong enough to tempt Death and even more.
The Ghosts of Halloweenby Ceillie Simkiss takes a light Christmas Carol vibe presenting three bite-sized Halloween short stories about couple Cora (panromantic asexual) and Elena (lesbian) from the Learning Curves series, I previously mentioned in my wintry post. Expect more of what makes this romance series a treat. Author Ceillie Simkiss is also panromantic asexual.
The Home I Find with You by Skye Kilaen is a hopepunk polyam romance set in the aftermath of a second civil war in the United States. Van (pan) the lead defender for a circuit of towns in rural Colorado with his girlfriend Hadas meet Clark (gay,) after Clark shows up unexpectedly in the aptly named Freshtown. As a previous threat and winter also approach, this is a hopeful title centered on people and kindness in spite of violence that may leave the reader feeling warm inside as well. Author Skye Kilaen is also bi/pan.
How to Find a Missing Girl by Victoria Wlosok, a fresh debut YA thriller, features an amateur teenage sleuth Iris Blackthorn (cis pansexual) with two of her friends, Sammy Valdez-Taylors (cis lesbian) and Imani Turner (non-binary lesbian). The trio forms a sapphic detective agency out to solve the disappearance of two people close to Iris as the clock ticks down during the Louisiana autumn. Author Victoria Wlosok is also pansexual.
Sweet to the Core by Amy Aislin set in a small seaside town in Maine is a romance novel between Dev (gay) who owns his own bakery and his cousin’s best friend Clark (pansexual) a wildlife biologist. Dev’s harbored a crush on Clark since childhood. Clark is usually a no-strings-attached guy. But set aside the pumpkin spice and enjoy another staple of the autumn season— apples. When the two team up entering an inaugural baking contest with a sizeable cash prize, mouthwatering baked goods aren’t the only thing that is very sweet.
Trick or Treat by Sydney Blackburn is good if you’re in the festive mood for a sweet little, short story Halloween treat featuring Drew (genderfluid pansexual) and David (cis bisexual) meeting on All Hallows’ Eve.
Vampirella from horror host to heroinesince 1969 has become a sensual pansexual icon enthralling comic readers across the globe. Including me with Vampi having the honour of being the first pan character I knew of. If you need some direction on what to read, SYFY has a Pull List for the Legacy of Vampirella. (Though I’d skip anything by Warren Ellis.)
Wild and Crooked by Leah Thomas has Kalyn and Gus two teenagers that become unlikely friends despite a decades old murder that connects them. Set in small-town lush Kentucky autumn with a smell “like sticky cinnamon”, the slow burn here isn’t romance— but a mystery. There’s abundant queerness: Kalyn likes girls. Gus questions and is regarded as pansexual by many readers and critics to quote “When it comes to people, I care about personality before anything else, and gender’s another characteristic that factors into that. Maybe that does land me in one queer realm or another”. Plus, his mother has a female partner. Too note, garnering young adult award nominations, this is another title that has been listed among book challenges.
The Witches of Portland series by T. Thorn Coyle brings readers an urban fantasy with a social justice basis and dash of romance. Each installment focuses on different members of the Arrow and Crescent coven in Portland, Oregon. If you’re intimidated by the full nine-volume set don’t worry, the books also can be read as standalones. Author T. Thorn Coyle is also bi/pan/queer.
By Dusk (Book 7) set around the autumn equinox features coven member Moss (pansexual) an environmental activist working to prevent pollution of the Willamette. And new to Portland, the rich, on the surface carefree party girl Shaggy. The two previously hooked up at a festival but might have more.
By Dark (Book 8) set in the last week of October thru Dia de Los Muertos features coven member Alejandro (bisexual/pansexual) an IT consultant entering a midlife crisis and his likewise polyamorous partner Shekinah (queer) a graphic designer and Kundalini yoga devotee. But when a friend of Shekinah’s starts having terrifying visions that also besiege Alejandro, it’s an interfaith all-hands-on-deck to uncover dark secrets and affect something terrible afoot in Portland.

And So It Begins ... Again
This was the final fight. The fire singed Vecna’s flesh but he remained indifferent. out of the corner of his eye, Steve saw Nancy raise her shotgun… and drop it. Steve whipped around to face her, he prayed to every God he could think of. Nancy's eyes were stark white Steve could do nothing to help as her body raised off the floor why God couldn't he do anything? her bones began to snap he couldn't take it he screamed as loud as he could until his lungs burned and his legs Shook and threatened to collapse.
He screamed until the air around him turned into something else. Steve shot up in bed his bed in his room, something was wrong his eyes flitted around the room his posters his decorations were different. He dashed down the stairs across the house into the kitchen. the calendar, the date on the calendar is wrong November 3rd 1983, 3 days before Will Byers went missing. Ideas and thoughts raced across his mind, he could fix everything.
Hours passed in a flash Steve forgot to eat or even breathe, eventually, he formed a plan. Will, unfortunately, would have to go missing that was what sparked everything but this time he wouldn't stay for so long. Right now he had work to do.
"hey guys "Steve slid into a seat at the lunch table where Tommy and Carol sat "I've been doing some thinking"
"That's not good" Tommy laughed
"You're a bad friend"
"What?" Tommy was gobsmacked
"Excuse me?"Carol yelled
Steve leaned back in his seat "You two are bad friends and I don't want to be friends anymore"
"So that's it then?" she asked
"Yeah that's it"
He got all the way into his car before he fully realized what he had done Tommy and Carol were bad friends, yes, but they were his friends, they had been friends since middle school and there was a kind of sentimentality that came with being friends for so long. It would be worth it once he had befriended Robin, and Nancy. Oh… Nancy she had died hadn’t she or rather she was going to die before all this happened. How did this happen by the way? Before he could think about it too hard everything came crashing down. Barb's death, Hopper's death, it was all his fault. Barb never would have died if he hadn't thrown that party. Hopper never would have died if he hadn't been stupid enough to think he could solve a mystery with someone who knew nothing about the upside down! Shit, Robin, he put her In Harm's Way it was his fault they got tortured by the Russians. He killed Barb, he killed Hopper, he hurt Robin and the most damaging thing of all he was responsible for Nancy's death. With that Steve shattered. Steve sobbed into his knees grief, anger, and guilt gnawing at his heart
Someone knocked on his car window. Steve did his best to stop crying, sniffed, and hurriedly dried his eyes with his shirt. He tried not to cry more when he looked up. It was Barb standing there her face twisted in concern, of course it was Barb, Nancy's best friend the first mistake He made that cost someone their life. Steve rolled down his window
"Do you need something?"
"Don't feel bad for ditching them!"
"Who?"
"Tommy and Carol there mean so you shouldn't feel bad for ditching them "
"How did you know –" he began
" Oops, my bad I heard you talking at lunch. Me and Nancy sit at the next table" she interrupted
"Oh right Nancy"
"They've been telling people that you're a terrible person for letting them again arrested for drunk driving." she smiled "here's the thing go, they didn't have to drive drunk it's not your fault for them getting in trouble for something you didn’t know would happen"
he nodded "thanks, that means a lot to me "
"Right so um if you ever need a place to sit you know during lunch me and Nancy always have a spot open for you!"
Steve plopped into his seat seconds before the bell rang and absentmindedly twirled his pen. The teacher began to speak "Hello everyone, I am assigning a new project today. You will be split into groups of 2 each group will choose a classic book to read and analyze the theme, metaphors any personification or simile and make a presentation explaining it. Groups will be Steve Harrington and Edward Munson – "
oh that's right, he got out of this last time by going with Tommy instead, but now Tommy was not an option. Steve didn't spend much time with Eddie but Dustin liked him and Steve accepted Dustin's very odd friend. He looked over at the metal head and offered a friendly smile and a wave, he got in return a scowl and I will. ‘that's fair’ he thought ‘I shouldn't have expected him to like me immediately or even tolerate me I was always a dick before… I guess I still am a dick’
After class, he caught up with Eddie in the Halls
"hey, Eddie about the project –"
"let me guess you're ditching me for Lord Tommy isn't that right"
"what? No, I –"
"Listen man no hard feelings. I get it you don't want to be seen with the freak Munson you'd rather work with your best friend than me right"
"Munson – "he tried again
"no no it's all right you don't need to explain yourself to me –" Steve cut him off
"Tommy and I aren't friends anymore" he blurted "not any more so like it or not we're working together"
Eddie looks stunned eyes wide mouth a gape
"what," Steve demanded
"Nothing, I just never thought I'd see the Day"
"what do you mean?"
"Well, your best friends you're almost always together. I thought you'd always be friends you know?"
They paused and the silence grew between them like a chasm
"yeah well not anymore" he snapped
"Hey man I'm sorry" Eddie reached out to touch his shoulder but Steve Shrugged him off
"Don't be sorry I didn't want to be friends anymore"
he looked up into Eddie's eyes they were dark deep brown almost black and Steve could feel them pulling him in "I'm sorry for snapping at you that wasn't cool "
"It's alright man. What were you saying about the project?"
The next day Steve kept an eye out for Robin and he spotted her in fourth. He made an effort to notice what she was doing unsurprisingly the only thing she did was draw in her notebook sneaking glances at Tammy Thompson when she thought no one was looking but holy hell could she draw he noticed it before, of course, she doodled on everything but this was different she was drawing Tammy and it was incredibly fascinating to watch a face form from just a Circle and some limes he approached her at her locker
"hey I saw you drawing during class it looks really good"
"What?"
"you were drawing Tammy Thompson, right? She looks really pretty"
quotation marks I don't think Tammy looks pretty W-what why would you say that? "she stammered
Shit. Shit he made her uncomfortable how is he going to fix this Shit think
"I didn't mean it like that I meant you're drawing of her was really pretty"
"0-0h right of course thank you"
"I was wondering if you wanted to get lunch with me?"
"What?"
"don't worry I'll pay"
"Are you asking me out on a date?"
Shit. fuck how is he going to fix this one?
"oh no no no no no. God no don't worry"
”Oh thank God" she let out a relieved sigh
"so how bout it?"
"Sure, but only if you keep complimenting my art skills"
"will do"
Steve attempted to back away and immediately bumped into someone she gave Robin a shy smile and a thumbs-up as he walked away
When he woke up the next morning and brushed his teeth all he could think was "you can still save him" it was all he could think of as he got dressed, packed a lunch and drove to school. He sat next to Robin paid for her lunch and invited her to sit with him Nancy and Barb, after lunch he talked with Eddie about the project and for one brutal minute saw Jonathan Byers in the hall he quickly looked away guilt rising in his throat. He felt that way for the rest of the day time passing in a blur. As he pulled into his driveway a small nagging voice in his skull told him “it's not too late you can save him if you don't it'll be your fault” Steve stamped the voice down till it was barely a murmur and set about making preparations. Step one he'd gotten his original nail bat from Nancy but he couldn't wait for her to make it he would have to make his own secondly he couldn't let someone's kid go missing and not help the family. He would have to cook something and thanks to his grandma's cookbooks (written in original French) Steve was an excellent cook. Thirdly he needed to help the kids find El or at least find out about her she liked Eggo waffles right? Maybe he could buy some for her? Steve got to work making the nail bat which took about an hour making some mushroom and pork stew to about one-and-a-half and when he was done he put it in some Tupperware to keep. When Steve opened his fridge he noticed it was about empty so he went to the store and got groceries and a lot of desserts and snacky things (for El). The rest of the night passed agonisingly slow guilt turned his stomach and he couldn't sleep finally he gave in downed some NyQuil settled back down and turn on some music.
Steve woke up early and all he could think about was Will, Jonathan, and Joyce how Will was stuck in the upside-down and Jonathan and Mrs. buyers were out of their minds worried. How he caused this it was his fault. Eventually, he dragged himself out of bed and went to school. Steve walked the halls in a trance listening to people's conversations surprisingly most of the focus was on Tommy and Carol’s fall from grace people speaking in hushed tones were talking about them “did you hear” they said "Steve Harrington and "Tommy Hagan" one would hiss to another "Tommy? what happened" they'd respond voices dripping with grim delight " They aren't friends anymore, so sad" and they would find joy in such an 'exciting' piece of gossip. Snakes the lot of them telling other peoples business to anyone that would listen. In class the teacher droned on his words blurring into a meaningless hum that Steve frankly couldn't care less about, his thoughts slowed to a crawl the world around him speeding up and turning muffled like it was underwater. The bell jolted him out of his thoughts the other students crowded around the door as Steve started to gather his things "hey Steve"
he jumped "Jesus Buckley you scared the shit out of me"
"sorry listen are you okay?"
"yeah I'm fine why?"
you seems really out of it your eyes glazed over and everything "
he carelessly shoved his books in his backpack
"I'm fine Robin you don't have to worry. Lunch?"
"hey I've been meaning to ask how did you make friends with Nancy?"
"same way I made friends with you I guess"
they walked out the door and down to the cafeteria
"complimenting their art skills?"
"making an effort"
"that's dumb"
"a really how do you make phone? Huh?"
Robin went quiet for a moment
"I don't really have any friends except for you guys"
"Geez Robin I'm sorry I didn't mean to you no be mean"
"it's alright"
Robin seems to have pulled Steve out of his stupor, she sat down and started cracking jokes with his friends that's what they were right? His friends? They were very nice friend he like them much more than Tommy and Carol.

AGREED DO THE ULTIMATE FIC REC
Thank you so much for asking!! Okay, here we go!
DC fics that I got a few paragraphs into and already KNEW were going to be AMAZING:
1. The Jason Project by loosingletters
Warnings: Major Character Death
Jason had just wanted to see his autopsy report, he had only wanted to know what information Bruce had about his death. And when Bruce hadn't given it to him, he had stolen it. He hadn’t meant to stumble upon the bucket list of a dead child and the footage of a grieving father crossing one item after another off the list.
My thoughts: I don't often cry (which isn't healthy lmao) but this fic made me cry (happy tears!). It is absolutely wonderful and while angsty it has such a beautiful ending. I can't recommend it enough!

Tim knew he was fucked if only for the way that his brain was chanting Jason, like a litany. So he definitely didn’t need to hear the cold, mechanical chuckle or the chillingly delighted 'lucky me' to know that this was not good.
He took a second to look down at his coffee mournfully.
Then, he threw it at Hood’s helmet and bolted down the Tower corridor.
Or: Tim is supposed to be at Gotham Academy for a parent-teacher conference. Hood has other plans (Titans Tower AU).
My thoughts: One of the best Titans Tower AU fics I have ever had the pleasure of reading. The ending is to die for and so fluffy - it never fails to warm my heart <3

“Red Hood. I need you to incapacitate Timothy Drake-Wayne.”
“Aw, man,” Jason sighs, shouldering through the old wooden doors and out into the street with his books under his arm. “You and half the northern hemisphere. What’d he do this time?”
Jason's phone is blowing up about one Timothy Drake-Wayne (who is Jason's responsibility since when, exactly?). Jason comfort-eats. Jason suffers long. Jason reluctantly tries to keep this Raphus cucullatus of a human being alive, and maybe finds himself sidling back into the family while he's at it.
My thoughts: I was crying with laughter by the third sentence. If you want free serotonin, you will find it here folks, I guarantee it. Brilliantly written and hilarious and such a fantastic interpretation of Jason's character. Please read this lmao <3
4. miss me? by envysparkler
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Jason’s plan to observe his family’s reactions to his resurrection…does not go as intended.
My thoughts: I think I've recommended this one at least once before, but I will do so again because it is one of the best stories I have ever had the honour of reading on AO3. It has a happy ending, but was another fic which actually made me tear up. It is just beautiful and I'm sure some of you have read it before. Read it again even if you have - it's that good.
5. No Pain, All Gain by @sohotthateveryonedied
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Bruce checks Tim’s IV. “Are you in any pain? Do you need more morphine?”
Tim’s pupils are so wide that only the faintest ring of blue can be seen. He watches Bruce the way a five-year-old watches cartoons. “I’m all good, B-dog. All Gucci, like we cool teens say." His words are slurred almost beyond recognition, but Tim doesn’t seem to notice or care. "I could fight Superman right now.”
My thoughts: I know of only about 3 or 4 fics featuring Tim absolutely high out of his mind on some drug or another and this has got to be one of the absolute best of them. Whenever I feel the Depression(TM) crawling in and I need to laugh INSTANTLY I read this. It has not failed me yet. I can't recommend it enough it's so funny and a great read <3 The line below from the fic makes me scream laugh EVERY TIME:
“He’s not in his right mind.”
“So? Neither are you half the time but you’re still in charge of everything.”
6. The Ouija Boy by SunnyBlue
Warnings: Graphic Depictions Of Violence
Timothy Drake was a stillborn baby. He was born dead, stayed that way for a solid five minutes, and was then resuscitated in the delivery room. He was a child who grew up alone, but for his imaginary friends. He had so many imaginary friends, in fact, that his parents sent him to get evaluated several times over the course of his childhood, which was spent with Tim as the only heartbeat in that house.
But that didn’t mean he was alone.
---
Tim sees dead people. When a Batboys murder investigation is going nowhere, he realizes his only chance at solving the case is to speak to the ghost of one of the victims. He has to reveal his secret to his brothers -- or risk the killer getting away.
My thoughts: STAND BACK FOR POSSIBLY ONE OF MY TOP TEN FAVOURITE FICS OF ALL TIME. I'm pretty sure I've recommended this one before but I will do so again. The story is impeccable, the mystery is ELITE and everything about it is literally perfect. I re-read this at least once a month so I can bask in its greatness and become a better person for having read it.

From a tumblr prompt.
AKA, "A Justice League fic where everyone argues about who's the most beautiful and intimidating sexy from the Big Three and everyone has valid points."
My thoughts: I'm going to let the note I added to the bookmark I made of this fic speak for itself. Here's what I wrote: "This was so funny - shoutout Jason for undeniable lad vibes plus the fact he felt he needed to neatly organise and write down the big three's sexiest traits."
8. American Ninja Worrier by DangerBeckett
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
It's just like Tim to give a poor college student a start in the business world. Kid's a bleeding heart, and usually, that's the sort of thing Jason avoids at all costs. He prefers his bleeding hearts on the literal side, and despite Bruce's best efforts, he's never had a head for business.
Unfortunately, though, this time the business is ninjas, and that's the sort of thing that makes Jason take notice. Because Bruce is useless, and someone's gotta make sure Tim's new internship program doesn't take down all of Gotham.
That's Jason's job, after all.
My thoughts: Please GOD just read the first few paragraphs. You'll know exactly what I mean when I say that this fic is it. Hilarious, badass and adorable. I mean, see the title of this fic rec. I just knew this fic was going to be amazing from the first line.
I have many, many more of course, but I'll leave this here for now as it's getting to be a pretty long post. Anyway, these are all fics - short and long! - that I knew were going to be absolutely perfect within the first few moments of reading. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

Hey, can you tell me a bit more about the murdoch mysteries? i am considering watching it but it seems to be a long running show and i just kinda wanted to know what i’m getting into
(i wrote up something a lot more detailed and well written but tumblr deleted it for me before I could save it)
Ooooh my god yes!!! I'd love to tell you all about Murdoch Mysteries.
Okay so this is a murder mystery show set in Toronto Canada and is set in the year 1895 (well it starts in the year 1895 and then moves forward one year per season. It's been 15 seasons now so the show is currently set in about 1909/1910).
It stars William Murdoch, a police detective who solves crimes using his intellect and love of science. It's full of history with lots of real historical figures making appearances like Teddy Roosevelt, Alexander Graham Bell, Arthur Conon Doyle, Annie Oakley, Nikola Tesla, Emma Goldman, HP Lovecraft, Harry Houdini, and Helen Keller. It's equal parts drama/emotion and insanity/comedy, has got fantastic characters including some awesome women, and some really great story lines and villains.
It's the perfect mix of period drama and crime show and I cannot get enough of it. 15 years and I'm not the least bit ready to be done with it. It certainly has its moments of "what the fuck" but overall it's so good.
Let me tell you about the characters!
William Murdoch is the star. He's logical, stiff, loves modern science, a devout Roman Catholic, and believes in rules both societal and law but over the years, his friendship with Brackenreid, Julia, and George loosen him up.
Julia Ogden is the city coroner. She's a badass doctor who kicks ass in whatever field of study she tries. City coroner, medical doctor, psychologist, etc.
Thomas Brackenreid is the police inspector. He’s a traditional copper who loves a good drink and is quick to anger but he’s loyal to a fault and is much more open to the modern world than others think he is.
George Crabtree is Murdoch's right hand man. He's sweet, funny, brave, and creative. He has a penchant for writing and thinking of new inventions or giving Murdochs inventions proper names. He also believes in all things supernatural. Things like vampires, martians, venutions, werewolves, krampus, etc.
Henry Higgins is George's best friend and fellow constable. He’s a pretty big slack off and a lady chaser but is a good friend and tries his best. We love him.
And in season 10 we get the absolutely amazing Llewellyn Watts whom I adore. He's also a detective who transferred to Station House 1 because he didn’t get along with anyone in his previous Station House. He's socially awkward, much more philosophical than Murdoch, enjoys a good glass of wine, prefers the foot on the street version of police work, and oh yeah he’s gay and Jewish.
Then there are the other coroners throughout the years: Emily Grace, Rebecca James, and Violet Hart.
Emily Grace who was Julia’s first protege. She’s strong willed, intelligent, and very modern. She fights for women’s suffrage, advocates for women’s rights and loves being a pathologist. She dates George for a while and then falls in love with a woman.
Rebecca is Julia’s next protege. She’s was a medical student before losing her patronage so Julia takes her on as her assistant. She grows into a wonderful medical examiner and doctor. Rebecca is kind, brave and hungry for knowledge.
Violet Hart is the current medical examiner. She’s highly intelligent and goes after what she wants and what she believes she deserves no matter the cost. She has ambitions.
There are so many other characters to love as well like Terrence Meyers, Constable Jackson, Louise Cherry, Nina Bloom, James Pendrick, James Gillies, Eva Pearce, The Newsomes and more.
The show is amazing and full of mystery, fun, emotion, and history. I highly recommend it. Feel free to explore my #murdoch mysteries tag to see more!

THE ENEMY WITHIN by Christie Golden
oh god it’s been so long BUT WE’RE BACK FOLKS
u know who is also back? Christie Golden! and she follows me on twitter oh god run
so this one's not the most fun book of the bunch, a bit serious and plodding, but Golden's writing has improved much since her last two Ravenloft books, and it kept me interested til the end
so we open with government. Most Noble Goodboy Sir Tristan Hiregaard is handed a royal brat of a teenager to supervise, on account of the king having died of plot disease. his own son, Ivaar, is one of those rich kid revolutionaries who care just so much about the plight of the downtrodden, and who haven't quite figured out that a purging of the bourgeoisie would take their own heads off too. his best friend is captain of the guard, and he is by all accounts a tirelessly fair statesman.
the book actually makes me like the guy, which. that's not fair, Ms. Golden. i've seen the cover art, you and i both know what's coming!
anyway what's coming is through a series of realistically stupid events, our boy Triscuit gets Vistani Cursed for something that wasn't his fault, and, totally coincidentally, some strange horrible murders start happening!
we've got a bit of Jack the Ripper here, a killer targeting sex workers and lower class women in gory ways and leaving badly-spelled messages on walls, that sort of thing
Tristan, being the protagonist, shows his Goodboy nature by being horrified and vowing to Find The Killer At All Costs
meanwhile, his kid has an unexpected visitor at this week's meeting of the Nova Vaasan Young Gentleman's Revolutionary Club, which goes something like this:
"hello young sirs, have you heard the good word of our lord and savior Generic Cat God?"
"why no, mysterious masked stranger, we have not."
"you have now! here have some kittens"
cats are a running theme, apparently; our mysterious masked stranger is Malken, supernaturally charismatic and promising to help better the downtrodden of the country through temple-sponsored orphanages and soup kitchens and a free cat to every new convert, and boy howdy is Ivaar wrapped around this guy's finger
but Tristan doesn't have time to talk to his son, or to worry about the new scientologists in town; he's got a MURDER to SOLVE
he does some boring detective work, investigates a Horse Racket, blah blahhhhh blah can we move on now
i'm just saying, Sam Vimes would have had this shit wrapped up within 72 sleepless hours, and he would have been funny about it
anyway Malken, shockingly, is not as benevolent as his silver tongue might suggest to impressionable young noblemen, and the cat god temple is literally the biggest front for organized crime the world's ever seen. dude's been alive for like a month at this point and he's already tied himself up in every single business in Nova Vaasa. he's like if Two Face was an actual italian mobster, it's kinda impressive. Tristan is rapidly running out of allies as his sexy other half steals all his friends with his sexy sexy crimes and murders.
at about the two-thirds mark, Triscuit finally cottons on to the same thing the reader knew from the cover art; which is, Tristan me boy look in a goddamn mirror
yes, that fun Vistani curse got u possessed! sort of. it's not quite a Jeckyl n Hyde situation, Malken isn't literally Tristan's secret inner desires manifesting themselves. he's literally a different person who occasionally gains occupancy over Tristan's body, physically changing it in the process
which is inconvenient! how are u supposed to fight a guy who shares ur own body?
Tristan, being also a wizard of some minor skill, does the dumbass protagonist thing of isolating himself further and not telling anyone ever about this revelation or what he plans to do about it. i can foresee no repercussions for this whatsoever.
i will say that it's a testament to Golden's writing skill that even in the home stretch here the book still manages to give you hope that this might have a happy ending
but god, nope, it is 100% a tragedy. the good kind, where you can see the way the bad decisions snowball from a mile off and it still hurts like fuck when Consequences happen. it's cathartic.
Tristan does some graverobbing for spell components, as one does, and when his best friend guard captain guy tries to stage an intervention like "hey dude you've been working a lot of late nights, and the murders keep piling up, and i've kinda noticed that the killer's handwriting kinda looks exactly like yours just with worse spelling and written with the left hand, are u good?" Tristan does the totally sane thing of accusing him of working with Malken and cracking his skull like an egg
which ow, god, i liked that guy actually
our climax is a tasty tasty mirrorverse boss fight! with Tristan having lost or sacrificed pretty much everything for a chance to end Malken's reign of terror, and Malken taunting him from reflections with philosophical inevitabilities
like goddamn, "I am all that keeps you good" what a line huh
in the end, they settle into equilibrium; batman and joker in one. Malken insists that they need each other, that without the necessary evil personified in another discrete entity, Tristan himself will slide into depravity. there's something to be said here about how heroes necessitate villains; a villain without a hero is successful, but a hero without a villain is merely useless
so they balance each other, though the real loser here is Nova Vaasa itself, being now entirely under the thumb of a sadistic crime lord. in other books (and game modules) it's a wasteland of grassy plains, haunted by beast-men, so perhaps that is the place's ultimate future within the mists. there are some continuity errors regarding Tristan's backstory between this book and the other materials though, so it might be worth treating as just a standalone story.
it's worth a read if you're after a supernatural mystery thriller! the writing is very good, if a bit plodding at times, and if you let yourself feel for the characters it does hurt so good when the genre-required bad things happen to them. i'm almost sad we won't see more of Golden's work in this series, but apparently she's done a metric fuckton of warcraft and star wars novels, so if you're so inclined there's plenty more where these came from

Dearest Bestfriend
I honestly don't know why I wrote this except that it is wish fulfillment for me. And I don't know if it's worth keeping up all throughout season 3. If anyone wants me to continue, please let me know because initially, I hoped to keep writing as season 3 unfolded (add in flashbacks and some behind the screen scenes that might have happened) with Ace's POV, and how messy his feelings for Nancy were and how he was going untangle all of that. I don't know if it's good enough though. So, if ANYONE reads this and likes this, please let me know to continue.
Major pairing: Nancy x Ace (obviously!)
"Yea, no mysteries to solve and no supernatural entity hunting you down, it must be keeping your mind off of Columbia," Bess said with an innocent smile.
"It was," Nancy replied in a strained voice. I wasn't looking at her then, but I was sure she looked just as strained.
No. I was making sure the hay dolls on my basket were perfectly aligned as no doll had ever been. Focus. That was my way to ignore a few choice words in my life.
Columbia. Nancy. Going away.
It wasn't going well.
One week ago, I was on a backpacking trip with my beautiful girlfriend trying not to think about anything at all. Then I returned home, weeks earlier than planned, and came face to face with the news that Nancy Drew— girl detective, the hero of Horseshoe Bay, my best friend— had applied for her dream college, and the early admissions portal was opening today of all days. On the day of the Town Carnival. On the day, two of our friends were hopefully getting engaged.
I wasn't ready then.
I am not ready now.
Fear like I have never really felt had lodged itself into my chest and I didn't know how to work it out of my system. Funnily enough, I shouldn't be reacting like this what with my experience with Laura, but even though I had been gutted when Laura had left, Nancy leaving felt different. Catastrophic. I wasn't handling it well if anyone bothered to ask me. No one did, though. Thank God for that. I wasn't sure how to explain any of it.
Nancy Drew had always seemed bigger than Horseshoe Bay. As sublime as she is, everyone saw her in one of those big cities with towering buildings and glittering streets, walking amongst a plethora of people from all walks of life, always busy and always moving on to the next best thing. That's how all the people who came across her saw her as, even her fathers— too large a person for a town too small.
Everyone except me.
Odd thing, big cities. It gave you a sense of being in the middle of something larger than life. But it also made you somewhat of an anonymous being. And Nancy Drew was anything but.
One year ago:
I was busy watching the dirty soap water swirling as it flowed out. The patterns were interesting in the mundane sort of way that kept my mind occupied. Like the bobbing of the colorful balloons, someone had brought in half an ago to celebrate another unknown someone's birthday. Was it a birthday? Graduation? I didn't know. I barely cared.
The balloons were nice though. The bright colors seamlessly inserting themselves within the other bright colors of the Claw's interiors.
I started refilling fresh water and wondered if George would allow balloons as a permanent part of the decor. Probably not.
"Too much of a cost to keep the balloons floating," she would say, followed by, "get back to the dishes Ace. They won't clean themselves."
She was hurting about something, George was. No one grew up that prickly by themselves. But that wasn't my story to uncover. And although maybe, I could find it out, I barely had the energy to.
Ever since Chief gave me this underhanded job to save me from going to jail, I barely cared about anything else. I was supposed to keep my head down— which I did. I was supposed to keep my eyes and ears open— which they were. And I was supposed to be a fumbling stoner with no brains and to stay utterly uninteresting to everyone and uninterested in anyone— which I was. Or I was quickly becoming. But that's fine. If washing dishes could keep me away from jail for a lifetime then I was glad.
Only, things didn't go as planned.
She came hurtling through the front door, the bell jingling excitedly at her arrival as if it knew the natural calamity that was Nancy Drew.
I only looked up when the voices around the restaurant died down instantly.
It was quiet for a heartbeat. And then the whispers started.
'Carson Drew's daughter.'
'Yes, I heard her mother died of cancer.'
'Poor dear.'
'Wasn't she supposed to be away at college?'
'She would look so much better if she smiled.'
Even from the furthest point in the kitchen, the whispers which were barely whispers carried.
Nancy Drew.
Famous Nancy Drew.
The kitchen staff stopped working to look on as well, trying to catch her eye.
She averted them all and went straight for George— a paper clutched in one hand, and the other holding onto the strap of her messenger bag as if her life depended on it.
"Oi!" George barked from somewhere in the front, "get back to work."
"Do you want to order something Drew?" George asked, in her most I-don't-care-about-you-or-who-you-are voice.
"No," Nancy said, a hard edge to her voice. "Dawn asked me to give you my resume." Someone gasped dramatically and too loudly, making it clear that everyone present was eavesdropping on the conversation. Nancy stiffened.
I watched as the girl hissed through clenched teeth, "Can we go somewhere else?"
George smirked and shook her head, clearly liking Nancy's discomfort. "You start tomorrow," she said with a venomous smile as she took the paper in Nancy's hand, and continued, "Just so you don't forget, this isn't high school. I am the manager here and if you are late, I will dock your pay."
I wondered what that was about.
George wasn't someone who antagonized someone else just for the sadistic pleasure of it all. No. George Fan was a well-intentional tough-love-giving rough-around-the-edges girl who was more ride or die than I had ever seen. That's when it clicked. They had history, George, and Nancy. And even though I didn't know Nancy Drew, I internally cringed for her.
George Fan wasn't someone you made an enemy of.
She was leaving then— as swiftly as she came.
She stopped at the door, looking over her shoulder as she listened to something George snapped that I didn't hear.
I felt my eyes lock on her and my senses sharpened. Attuned to only her. Nancy Drew.
I kept staring. The water filled up the sink slowly, submerging my fingers until the entirety of my hand below my wrist was underwater, but I couldn’t concentrate on it.
She was hauntingly beautiful. Ivory skin with hints of blush at the embarrassment of having to be in the spotlight. Pink lips pressed tightly, jaw clenched as if she was gritting her teeth. A golden locket glistened near her throat. A lock of her fiery strawberry blonde hair curled on the nape of her slender neck. She took a step forward, the light from one of the windows fell on her at just the right angle and there she stood— glowing. And frowning— but glowing nonetheless.
I blinked, wondering if I would go blind, and she was gone. The bell on the door jingling again.
The intensity of my focus wavered. A blurry haze seemed to cloud over my senses.
"Ace," George snapped near my shoulder. When did she come here?
I looked at her. Her expression told me she was irritated. She snapped at me again, "focus on the water. Are you too high to work?"
"Sorry, was thinking about something," I mumbled, as I turned back to the water and eyed the tower of dirty dishes waiting for my attention. George stood behind me for another few heartbeats. I could feel her glare, but I didn't turn towards her again.
As I re-started the methodical mind-numbing activity of washing the dishes again, I let my mind wander.
To her.
Nancy Drew.
A pop of color in an otherwise monotonous grey painting.
Present Day:
As I walked up to her, I stopped myself from shielding my eyes. She was glowing again, just like she had that first day. But now, there was a vitality to her. An essence that she was on surer footing than she had been a year ago.
Within that moment, between footsteps, my mind went back to that first day— reminding me of the grey canvas that was my life.
I wasn't sure I was ready to let the bright splash of color leave my life again. To let the grey be all-encompassing like it had once been.
I wasn't sure I was ready to let Nancy Drew walk out of my life.
“You ready to leave us so soon?” The words were out of my mouth before I could stop them. That question had been haunting me for as long as Columbia became an integral part of Nancy’s very imminent future.
“More like I’m ready to hit the refresh button on life– clear my browser history.” She said, averting my eyes at every other word. I couldn’t stop looking at her though. I kept the aloof smile on my face– the one that had let me slide through difficult conversations in my life, careful to not let her see the shredded mess I was slowly becoming– she deserved her happiness and I wouldn’t be the one to stop her.
“As long as we’re not a permanent part of that history–” I managed to mumble. These words were harder to let out. What if she did want to wash her hands off of us? But before my mind could come up with any more of the morbid scenarios that had become my nightmare, she voiced, perhaps, the only words that could settle the niggling feeling that had taken over me.
“That’s not possible,” Nancy nodded, looking me straight in the eye before walking away. There was a sadness to her. Or maybe I was seeing what I wanted to see. Her being reluctant to leave as I was to let her go.
I wanted to stop her then– an unfounded feeling, to tell her what, I didn’t know. I wanted to stop her from walking away from me. But I didn’t. I didn’t bother asking myself the most integral question ‘why’. That was a whole other mess to unpack. I wasn’t ready for that either. I wasn’t sure I will ever be ready.
She was my best friend, I reminded myself as I watched her walk into the corn maze. If Columbia was her destiny, then it was my duty to cheer her on. And as she walked further and further away until her bright strawberry blonde hair wasn’t visible anymore, I promised myself, no matter the mess I was destined to become when Nancy Drew left Horseshoe Bay, I will never drag her down.

It’s no nuance november so I’m gonna do one for Astrology too hehe 🌚✨
🪕@ cancer mars, you might think you “showed” them with your passive aggressive remarks, but you didn’t. You’re just a bitch who can’t confront.
🪕Aquarius sun with Sagittarius moon have THE BIGGEST god complex. They victimize themselves and make you feel bad for them and then proceed to belittle your ideas and opinions. They’ll correct you on things you are right about, and act like you don’t know anything. (Also avoiding emotional confrontation at any cost, most likely with stupid jokes) you are also not that funny.
🪕Leos are either really smart or they are really stupid.
🪕@ Sagittarius you are not Gandalf stfu. You don’t know everything.
🪕a lot of people shit on Aries for being “the youngest sign” and act like Aries are only about being impulsive and childish, when in reality most Aries are really wise, mature and extremely creative and artistic. Ex. Emma Watson, Lady Gaga, Elton John, Mariah Carey
🪕 as much as I love most Pisces ( having Venus, Mercury and my 7th house in Pisces) you guys really need to shut up about relationships and the people you are talking to atm. Like yeah we get it, you jump from one relationship to another so you don’t have to face the fact, that you should love YOURSELF first before someone else. (This is especially true for Pisces who have a lot of fire influence and a Scorpio mars)
🪕if you have Capricorn moon you’re fucking awesome and probably the one who holds your family and friend group together. You’re the best, sorry I don’t make the rules.
🪕you don’t hate gemini, you just hate that you can’t control them the way you want. Also you just hate the fact they can do so many things at once, jealous much...
🪕@ Scorpio moons and Mercuries, it’s not that deep get over yourselves.
🪕from personal experience cancers can be really manipulative and lie a lot to victimize themselves or to make themselves look “good”.
🪕cancers with Leo influence can be really rude and arrogant. Especially rising and/ or moon
🪕 Taurus can also be really rude and they’re stubbornness just adds to it in certain situations.
🪕 there are actually a lot of libras who bully and Aries who stand up against the bully.
🪕 @ Scorpios you staring the shit out of someone doesn’t make u mysterious, it makes people want a restraining order.
🪕 literally every Taurus I know is a pothead. And sadly it’s because you guys do it to avoid problems. (Doesn’t mean that everyone who smokes is)
🪕@ Capricorn moons, smoking cigarettes won’t solve your problems, however it will solve your wish to die by giving you various types of cancer.
🪕And lastly libras loovveee to pretend like they listen to you, but in the end totally ignore what you said and continue to do what they want.

ANIME & MANGA I HAVE BINGED IN THE LAST MONTH: May 2021
I've Been Hunting Slimes for the Past 300 Years and Now Ive Maxed Out My Level: incredibly long name aside, cute af slice of life that suffers Same Face Syndrome. I'm still happy to watch it because of how feel good and fluffy it is though, Im probably gonna forget about it in two or three years tho. 8/10.
Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro: I found out this was a webcomic first and suddenly all the HORNINESS made so much more sense. A Femdom, Degradation, Humiliation, Dacryphilia Bullies to Lovers story disguised as a high school rom-com which, I'm not going to lie, misses SKEEVY CITY by mere inches on a regular basis. However, I'm a Dom/Switch and this entire relationship sets off my dom brain center like New York City just shy of midnight. So if you're into that sort of scene, this anime is for you. If not, it's still fascinating but you're probably gonna be a little put off by how mean the Girl!Bully is to the guy MC. Unless you find out something about yourself, in which case, congrats! Stay safe, sane, consensual, and learn about the traffic light system on top of safe words, I promise you'll have a better life in general after that. Still Ongoing, currently 10/10.
Fruits Basket: IM GONNA CRY I LOVE THIS ANIME SO MUCH???? The original anime came out when I was in... I think middle school and my parents were really strict on what I watched so I never got to experience the first wave and I never bothered to watch the show ever after I moved out of the house years later. However, now that I'm much older I honestly can say this is one of my favorite anime to date, and all the characters are charming, lovable, with their own problems that I can connect to or sympathize with, and I love the MC which is always a treat tbh. Except Akito. Akito can suck a sandpaper dick. I'm only on S2 tho so no spoilers! Anime 11/10.
Monster Girl Doctor: went in thinking it was gonna be a monster girl who's a doctor with a homoerotic assistant (her name is SAPPHY okay sue me for thinking it) and ended up watching the entire dubbed harem series. Honestly, I've seen worse and this one has consistent follow-through on interesting characters and backstory enough for me to shove aside the blatant under-monstrousness of the female monsters and the harem-ness of everything else. Dubbing is honestly really good, which is a treat, and the monster designs are not the worst and the MC is tolerable. Honestly, I don't mind having watched it! The mix of cgi and the traditional animation together work pretty strangely though, and it often doesn't flow super well. 7.5/10
So I'm a Spider, So What: Dubbed version which honestly isn't that bad. Took me a bit to get into it, but after realizing that it's got a mismatched timeline a la The Witcher, it made so much more sense. Heavily done in cgi, and you can definitely tell between the 2D and 3D animations, but not the worst in the world. I went in not expecting much but it ended up being an Issekai I can stand and even enjoy. On god has a decent story... with the spider. I'd be a liar if I didnt say I skipped some of the human parts just to get back to the best part of the show. 8/10.
Somali and the Forest Spirit: I'm so fucking nostalgic for this thing it makes me want to go and hug my dad. About a human girl under threat of being eaten with a monster-dominated world. Very obvious "humans fear what they don't understand" message but instead of the humans learning tolerance it's what happens when they get annihilated first so like, kudos for the mangaka for having the guts to do that. I cried like a baby regularly. It's really good, I watched the dub and ID WATCH IT AGAIN!!! 9/10.
To Your Eternity: Oh my god. O h my g o d. Fell in love on the first episode, ngl. About if an immortal being learned how to be a person from scratch. I love it. HOWEVER. Keep a box of tissues on you at all times because you're gonna need them. I'm only on EP7 because that's all that's out right now but just know. I love it. Not for everyone but certainly for my "what do we define as human and the human condition" ass. 12/10.
Those Snow White Notes: A sports anime without any sports. About shamisen playing which is cool because I never realized how cool this instrument was??? Its neat af. OP1&2 are by Burnout Syndrom so know theyre fire. Gonna be real, its pretty alright, but not extraordinary. You can tell they were using the characters as archetypes rather than actually characters which kinda kills a lot of the emotional value you could've had, but I'm still gonna watch it. It doesn't make me cringe as hard as other sports anime tho so I consider it toptier in that regards but if you're a big sports anime fan you might be bummed out by it. Every single musical performance is INCREDIBLE tho. A solid 8/10.
Toilet Bound Hanako-kun: THE ART OMFG IT'S SO GORGEOUS. Listen, if you took coptic markers and gave them an animation budget with some manga panel direction thrown in there, that's this anime. It's beautiful. Gorgeous. I'm in love with the aesthetic every second. Story? Really good. Characters? I love the MC and his evil little twin brother asshat. Demons? Not super imaginative but I'm carrying on happy as can be anyways. Dubbing? A bit shaky at times but I found the voices charming if a little off for some of them. I'm already waiting for the second season with popcorn at the ready. 10/10.
Prison School: I watched this directly after Hanako-kun and it was like I got slapped in the face by sweaty unwashed titties and some fedora wearing schmuck's piss kink. No character is likable or redeemable. I finished it, but at what cost? 2/10 and only because a character shit his pants and I laughed.
Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle: watched this right after Prison School and it was NECESSARY tbh. Its so CUTE and honestly, im not even kidding you, the fucking funniest anime I've seen in months. I watched the dub and the VAs are having the time of their lives working on this anime not just giving it their all but literally just going ham. Its great. If I read this im sure id be bored outta my mind but the VAs giving it a joyous performance make it an insta fave for me tbh. 9/10.
Sk8 the Infinity: i watched the dub with my bro and I can confirm that its a spectacular show because we both loved it and we have vastly different tastes. Incredibly SUSPENSFUL AND STRESSFUL for an anime about skateboarding but we finished it in a single sitting tbh. The last episode is not dubbed for some reason but we still loved it. Like if Free! was less obnoxious but the only fan-service here is Joe ♡ a beefcake who owns my lesbian heart. I think there's exactly one named female character tho and I legit couldn't tell you what it was if there was a gun to my head. So, over all, 9.5/10.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: I'm going to be entirely honest, I went in thinking it was going to be a boring isekai of no value. I was right about the Isekai part. It was honestly pretty interesting and focused on nation building like you're playing civilization rather than the usual "Get Stronger" narrative or "Get Some Pussy" narrative most isekais take which is delightfully refreshing. Granted there are flavors of that in this which means it doesn't alienate the big isekai watchers out there, but it's not the whole dish and it doesn't make me want to cringe the same way others do. You've got a slime MC just vibing and building a nation of monsters nbd. Does lose points for making the female monsters more humanoid than their male counterparts but makes them back by only doing perfunctory fan-service and nothing that makes me want to cry... except the butt sumo episode but in fairness it was all a terrible dream. Literally, the MC refuses to dream anymore after that. solid animation, decent voice acting, decent story, made me realize how HUGE this is in the Light Novel community???? There's like 18 fucking novels and that's WILD. 8.5/10.
MANGA:
Spirit Photographer Saburo Kono: a one shot special by the mangaka of The Promised Neverland! Honestly a really delicate touch of both super creepy and really touching, and I'm not gonna lie I'm bummed that this isn't a bigger project but the single chapter makes it a good taste for their style. I've been wondering if I wanna read/watch The Promised Neverland and now I think I will. 10/10
Deranged Detective Ron Kamonohashi: from the mangaka of Hitman Reborn comes this Sherlock and Watson derivative! Not even 20 chapters out yet with a sort of spotty schedule, I honestly love it even thought it's exactly as you expect. HOWEVER. Kamonohashi the "Sherlock" character uses mental pressure to kill all confirmed murderers and it's up to Toto the "Watson" character to save all those people before Kamonohashi kills them! It's just recently introduced a "Moriarty" family of crime lords (not a big spoiler don't worry it was obvious) so the tension surrounding Ron's past is amping up rn. Personally, I think the art is GORGEOUS, the characters engaging, and the story quick enough to keep my interest. Most mysteries are solved within a chapter or two so you're not stuck 20 chapters into one locked room mystery which is just peachy tbh. RN, 10/10. If this gets an anime, I anticipate a legion of fangirls who ship the two main characters along with their many friends. I've been alive too long to believe otherwise.
Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro: Yeah I read the manga after I watched the show. A slower build than the anime, but it works for the format, if theyd done the same with the show then I don't think it wouldve done as well. Honestly? Cuter tbh but just as horny. You dont start really LEARNING about your character until like, chap 65 tho and no real "drama" happens until like 75. A good chunk of the chapters are like 8pgs so its a breeze to get through. I love these slow burn idiots of the century. 9.5/10 because you can DEFINITELY tell the mangaka does hentai too.
Yugen's All-Ghouls Homeroom: one-shot by the mangaka for Food Wars, it's no wonder there's this constant perviness from the MC, a guy who can see and exorcise spirits. Takes place at an all girl's finishing school with KICK ASS monsters tbh, kinda bummed its not longer. The MC? Blatant monsterfucker who is also a CONFRIMED monsterfucker???? Idk i vibe with that single emotion. Everything else is hit or miss. 7/10 for monsters and cool concept, lost points for the MC very pointedly being okay with admitting he'd wait for the teenagers to be adults tho. Creepy af. Could live without that.
Hell's Paradise: I finished the entire 127chps in 3 days and I was really enthusiastic about it 90% of the time thinking about how deep it was and then I actually thought about it and I ended up being very neutral about the whole thing tbh. The art is fantastic tho, but DEFINITELY deserving of the M rating. Tits. Tits everywhere. But not tits to be ecchi over, no, monster hermit tits on beautiful women-ish figures. Now generally I give that a pass but a huge theme in the story is that men and women are "no better than one or the other" but like, lady tits are what you see 99% of the time. Men tits are few and far between. I call bullshit on most of the "deep" themes is what I'm saying, so it's like the mangaka was trying for those deep thoughts but missed the margin a little too far for my preference. That being said, the MC is a married man who loves his wife which automatically makes him my favorite character so like... idk so many good things, so many misses, but overall really spectacular themes and imagery. Unique but classic all at once. It's getting an anime and I have NO IDEA how much censorship they're gonna be doing but they're going to be doing SO MUCH. Oh yeah, and one guy is a plant/human hybrid who fucks a 1000 year old plant-hermit which makes him a canon monster fucker. And one canon non-binary character who I, a nonbinary, actually like. So like... gosh I've got mixed feelings. 8.5/10.
Choujin X: From Sui Ishida, mangaka to the mega hit Tokyo Ghoul comes this brand new manga!... Of one chapter, lol. Not really binge-y because it's just the one chapter out right now but I'm already keeping my eye on it. The grasp on anatomy in the art is PHENOMENAL and you can see Ishida flexing his art skill which is great. Can't give a true rating but I'm giving it a tentative 9/10 because I'm excited to see more.
Shag&Scoob: technically not a manga, its an ongoing webcomic I binged an subscribed to in one day and I just think it deserves more attention. Starts off funny with "what if Scooby Doo had a gun" and has been led to "what if all cartoons are aliens that survive and receive their powers by the humans that love them in an epic war with Martians." On god, its good. I finished the current series in a couple hours so it's a breezy read, highly recommend it. 9/10.
To Your Eternity: Yeah I watched the anime and then finished all current 143 chapters in like 3 days. GOD IM WEAK. I don't buy physical manga unless I know I want to remember the story forever and I'm already budgeting for the current books out. Yeah, this is a good series. That being said, definitely not for the faint of heart or those who suffer under common triggers like suicide, molestation, death, etc. It's all framed as bad and necessary to the story don't get me wrong, but it's there and has lasting affects on the characters. Incredible story telling by the creator of A Silent Voice. Keep tissues nearby at all times. 12/10.

Alright!… Who shot Mr. Northwest?!
Mayor Tyler Cute Biker: People, take it easy. We're all upset about Mr. Northwest’s plan to block out our sun. It is time for decisive action. I have written a polite but firm letter to Mr. Northwest’s underlings, who with some cajoling, will pass it along to him or at least give him the gist of it.
Bodyguard: *Whispering* Sir, a lot of people are stroking guns.
Tyler: … Also it has been brought to my attention that a number of you are stroking guns.
Coraline: Can you blame us?!
Tyler: Therefore I will step aside and open up the floor.
*Tad Strange, unshaven and drunk, stands up*
Tad: Mr. Northwest was the closest thing I ever had to...a friend. But he fired me! And now I spend my days drinking cheap scotch and watching Comedy Central!
Lili: Oh, dear God!
Tad: Ehh, it's not that bad. I never miss "Pardon My Zinger". *Mabel wraps a blanket around him*
Gideon: Northwest cost me the Tent of Telepathy!
Wendy: Because of him, I lost my room, my things and my CD collection.
Lazy Susan: I lost my diner!
Dipper: He robbed the schools of education!
Lili: He’s tearing down the forests!
Pacifica: He can't remember my name!
Wybie: He's causing us all to yell!
Norman: And look what he did to my best friend!
*Neil rolls in on his wheelchair*
Preston Northwest: *Chuckling* Oh, those wheels are squeaking a bit. Perhaps I can sell him a little oil?
Coraline: You twisted old bastard! *She runs to him; Preston pulls back his lapel and shows a gun*
Preston: I've decided to protect myself ever since I was attacked in my office by an unidentified assailant.
*Everyone looks at Raz*
Blubs: Northwest, your crimes will earn you a one way ticket to the grave!
Preston: Oh, you all talk big. But who here has the guts to stop me?... Mm hm. Very well. One last question: have you ever seen the sun set...at three p.m.? Take one last look at the sun, Gravity Falls!
*Preston presses a button on a remote control. A giant shield lifts out of a mountain and blocks out the sun. He laughs uncontrollably as it does so before leaving*
*Stan runs up the steps to the town hall in shorts with a suitcase*
Stan: I've been in Reno for six weeks. Did I miss anything?… Whoa. Who died?
*Everyone starts leaving in the gloom*
Wybie: Eternal darkness. Well, that's just great.
Dipper: Where a gun-toting lowlife when you need one?
-Later-
*A gunshot is heard. Preston Northwest stumbles from around a corner, gasping, a bullet wound on the left side of his chest. Thompson approaches him*
Thompson: Hey, man, are you okay?
Preston: I won't dignify that with a response! *He collapses on the town sundial. Everyone surrounds him*
Mabel: Mr. Northwest was shot!
Deputy Durland: Just a minute! This isn't Mr. Northwest at all! It's a mask! *He pulls at his face a little* Wait, it is him. Heh, his wrinkly skin, it...looks like a mask.
Dipper: I don't think we'll ever know who did this. Everyone in town's a suspect...
...
Raz: Heheheh. Well, I couldn't possibly solve this mystery. Can you? *He points at the camera which pulls back to reveal that he's pointing at Sheriff Blubs*
Sheriff Blubs: … Yeah, I'll give it a shot, I mean, you know, it's my job.
(No one will get this unless they’ve watched ‘Who Shot Mr. Burns?’)

The Sun Is Coming Up (I Think It’s Time)
Fandom: The Irregulars
Pairing: Spike/Jessie
Rating: T
Word Count: 2047
Summary:
Telling Jessie he loved her in the heat of the moment was one thing. Repeating it when they weren't in mortal peril was something else.
Spike glanced back over his shoulder as he hefted the sack filled with his belongings. If that was what it was like living large in a big fucking manor, he didn’t want it. Rituals and horns and murdering all your mates. Billy’d kill him if Spike ever suggested they mess around with a deck of cards to see whether it would bring out anybody’s underlying murder-y feelings. No thanks. The cellar—and all of his friends being this side of the grave—was good enough for him.
“What are you thinking about?” Bea asked.
She nudged him with her elbow while they walked side-by-side, grinding the gravel road underfoot as they left Mycroft Holmes’s place behind.
“How much I love sleeping in a literal hole in the wall,” he told her.
Bea laughed.
“No, I’m serious,” Spike insisted. He counted off the cellar’s best points on his fingers, beginning by flicking out his thumb. “It’s warm. Sometimes. And it’s dry! Mostly… And nothing supernatural ever happens there. Other than Jessie’s bad dreams.”
He could feel that the case he was trying to make about how great their home was wasn’t exactly stacking up the way he’d wanted it to, but Bea was still smiling. It was gentler now than when she’d laughed.
“Yeah,” she said, “Jessie’s dreams.”
“Are you worried about those?”
“’Course. I’m always worried about her.”
“Yeah,” Spike agreed heavily before darting a cautious look at Bea from the corner of his eye.
They crunched along for a few minutes without speaking; the damn stretch of road leading up to the house was so long that Spike started to get nervous, glancing forward and back to make sure the property wasn’t trying to trap them again. But no, the manor was always in its proper place: behind them. Fuck off and good riddance.
It was a clear day after all that night and, as much as he’d rather have never come here, Spike could admit that the fresh air was an improvement on the smoke and the stench they normally breathed. Easier to take a deep breath without coughing and easier to see Jessie walking just ahead. She was on the left, with Billy in the middle and Leo on the right, and though that silky dress she’d been wearing the last couple days (or however long it’d really been) was back at Mycroft’s, Spike thought she looked like just as much of a lady in her own clothes. Something about the swish of her skirt and how her chin lifted when she turned to speak to Billy. Laughing, she was. Possibly at Billy’s expense, going by the scowl on his face. Spike grinned as he watched them.
“She told me what happened on the tower,” Bea said.
Spike nearly jumped out of his skin.
“She did?”
“While we were packing.”
“Uh… all of it?”
“As much as she can remember.”
“I’m sorry she remembers,” Spike said, looking straight ahead, but not at anything really. “She had her mind manipulated by that woman. Might’ve been better to forget and just have a blank.”
“Jessie doesn’t feel that way.”
“She doesn’t?”
Bea shook her head. Even looking at her too long made Spike confused. Felt like promenading with a princess, what with how clean Bea’s face was. She’d probably been washing it in liquified diamonds or something while Spike was almost slicing his fingers off every five minutes as he chopped vegetables with one of Mrs. B.’s terrifyingly sharp kitchen knives.
“It meant a lot to Jessie,” Bea said. She looked like she was studying his face, rifling through whatever she saw there for clues, his eyes like a book of loose pages or a drawer that rattled with odds and ends. Spike snapped his gaze forward again.
“What did?”
“What you said to make her let go of that pole.”
He sniffed and kicked a large rock in his path.
“Can’t remember.”
“Oh, don’t give me that,” Bea complained. “I know you remember. You saved her life.”
“We all did. Some of us a little more actively than others, if Billy’s been telling the truth about what happened down below while me and Jessie were at the top of the tower.”
His friend released a growl of annoyance and he turned his head in time to see her roll her eyes hard.
“Has he told you that Leo didn’t help? Is that what he’s said? Is that why Billy’s keeping himself between Leo and Jessie, because he’s convinced himself that Leo’s not fit to be near her because he didn’t pound on the door as soon as we did? For god’s sake.”
“More or less,” Spike said with a smile.
“I’m gonna have a talk with him. Jessie doesn’t need him to go all protective like that.”
“He’s only doing it because you do.”
“What do you mean?” Bea frowned.
“For you, the most important thing is protecting Jessie and if Billy protects Jessie he’s doing the thing you think is most important, which will make you happy with him.” Spike noticed Bea’s expression sour into aggravation and threw his hands up in defense. “I don’t think that, he thinks that. I think. Just… think of it as Billy trying to be more sensitive.”
Bea snorted.
“That’s not sensitive,” she complained, gesturing to the way Billy was squaring his shoulders as Leo tried to speak to Jessie around him. “That’s… I don’t know. Brutish. He can’t decide whether or not Jessie and Leo are friends. Jessie can choose that for herself.”
“Just like you choose whether you and Leo are friends,” Spike piped up. “Or more.”
He spotted the red flare of Bea’s cheeks before, smiling, she ducked her head and murmured, “Shut up.”
“Can’t help it. Unlike dear Billy, I’m very sensitive. Got it coming out my ears. Unbelievably attuned to other people’s feelings. What?” he asked, because Bea was staring at him with this knowing look on her face.
“You told Jessie you love her.”
Fuck, she just said it straight out. Spike’s gaze danced around as it sought a place to land.
“We all love her,” he said.
“True, but…” Bea gripped Spike’s arm and hopped in front of him, walking backwards so she could look him right in the eye. “…that’s not what you told her at the time. You could’ve said, ‘We all love you’ or ‘Bea loves you,’ but you didn’t.”
“Well, now you’re just trying to make me feel stupid.” He smacked his forehead jokingly. “Christ, obviously I should’ve started with mentioning you. Jessie would’ve let go immediately. I guess I wasn’t thinking straight.”
“Of course you weren’t,” Bea agreed. “That situation was insane. You didn’t have time to consider every option, you just went on instinct. But all of that,” she emphasized, circling her palm in front of him, “just shows that you knew you had to say the most important thing. Not the most logical thing, but the thing that was truest to you. So you told Jessie how you feel.”
Spike tried to laugh her words away, but Bea just lifted her eyebrows like it was too late, she’d found all the clues and solved the mystery. That was great for her. When she spun away and jogged up to Leo to rescue him from Billy’s dickheadedness, Spike still had those clues flapping and tumbling around inside him like a sack full of junk. He didn’t know how to reach into that sack and pull out an I love you.
He looked longingly at Jessie’s hair, tied back in a slightly changed way to how it usually was. He looked at her hands swinging along at her sides and wanted to hold one.
—
“I meant it,” he told her in front of the fire.
They were home, legs aching from the walk, but not so badly that Spike regretted rejecting Mycroft’s offer of a carriage to bring them back. A carriage would’ve made the journey faster, sure, but what was the cost? It could be that there was some tarot card related to carriages flying over the edges of cliffs or being set on by man-eating bears and, without a guarantee that Patricia Coleman-Jones hadn’t performed a magic spell over such a card, Spike felt safer on his own two trusty feet.
Jessie’s feet were a pair of lumps under the blanket he’d drawn up close for her, so she could be near the heat while she rested her tired body. He should’ve been resting too, but he was pacing. Those three words were the first he’d gotten out since he’d informed Jessie that he had something to tell her.
“I know,” she said, staring steadily up at him.
Her face was aglow in the light and one of her eyes shone—the other was in the shadow he was casting. When Spike realized, he quickly moved to sit next to Jessie instead.
“Yeah, but, I meant it,” he repeated.
“Spike.”
His name was a whine of frustration from her lips, which wasn’t ideal feedback for a love confession.
“I love you,” Spike stated baldly, watching her face with care. “Not like your sister. I mean, I don’t mean that I love your sister. Well, no, I love Bea, ’course I do, but I love her in one way and I love you in another, different way to how she loves you.” He clamped his lips together for a moment to smother the rambling. “How are you feeling about this?”
“Really irritated to be honest. Just…” Jessie reached out and pressed her fingers over his mouth. “…let me speak.”
Behind her hand, Spike nodded, eyes wide and earnest. They touched all the time. They couldn’t not, sharing this den. Always tugging each other up from the cold floor, a pat of thanks on the shoulder or back when one of them cooked the breakfast. The time Jessie tripped up the cellar stairs and didn’t want Bea to know she’d hurt herself so it was Spike who pulled the slivers from her palm and cleaned the blood from the graze on her shin.
When he thought about it, seemed like he’d loved her differently from the others for a while.
“I heard you on the tower,” Jessie said, dropping her hand. “Your voice broke through. It was the only thing that did! It was more powerful than the weather or how Patricia was compelling me. I… I couldn’t understand, not fully, that’s why I tried to do what she said again, even though you’d convinced me once, but I knew more when it was over.”
“What did you know?” Spike asked, and she laid her hand over his on the blanket.
“I don’t love you like I love my sister either.”
“I thought…” His voice trailed off as his gaze slid sideways. “I thought it would’ve been better if it’d been Bea up there with you. She could’ve brought you out of it faster, kept you from trying to obey Patricia a second time.”
“Maybe,” Jessie allowed, “but that doesn’t matter because you did those things.”
“Any of them would’ve…”
Spike didn’t know why the fuck he was trying to be modest now, but his mouth was just set on being self-sacrificing. Thank Christ Jessie didn’t have time for his nonsense.
“Yes,” she said. “But it was you. I’m glad it was you.” Her voice climbed, then lost its footing with a thick, hiccupping cry. “Spike, I could’ve died.”
In an instant, he had his arms thrown around her waist, holding her tight against him with their knees bumping—his outside the blanket and hers beneath it. She curled into him. He felt the flutter of her eyelashes against his neck, then the cold trickle of a tear finding its way under his collar. One of Spike’s hands went up to cradle the back of Jessie’s head.
“Not in a million years,” he said. “Not in two.”
She shook with a laugh and raised her wet face; he wiped her tears.
Spike was glad Bea and the lads weren’t there when Jessie planted a kiss on his cheek. He cupped her face when she pulled back, led with his mouth as he leaned in, and willed their friends to stay away just a couple minutes longer.

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐄𝐓
aka bios are coming slow and this is selena’s solution. below the cut you’ll find a brief summary of each of my muses, their age, gender, orientation, etc.; everything you need to know to get a general idea of who they are if you’re not familiar with them already and see if anyone sparks your interest. thank you for reading!
DEBBIE LOOMIS: ex-wife to a cheating husband and ex-mother to a deceased son who turned to murder after she left home and never looked back. her resentment toward her failing marriage, grief over the loss of her son and rage over the women responsible ( in her mind ) for it all turned her down a path of serial murder with one goal in sight: kill sidney prescott. ( mid-40s, cis female, heterosexual ).
GALE WEATHERS: a local reporter with unmatched ambition that borderlines on ruthlessness. she’s not particularly well-received among some of the woodsboro community due to her cutthroat nature toward covering the news but that doesn’t stop her from doing whatever it takes to get the facts and the story. ( 28 - 50s, cis female, tbd ).
KIM POSSIBLE: just your basic, average girl who just so happens to save the world between cheer practice, babysitting jobs, school and maintaining a social life. fighting evil day after day is no big, but acing cheer regionals, getting hard-headed teachers off your back or securing a date to the school dance can be so the drama sometimes. ( 15 - 18, cis female, bisexual ).
SIDNEY PRESCOTT: a woman doomed to a life of trauma and survival, with a spine of steel and a heart of gold. sidney was forced to grow up at a young age when forced to deal with the loss of her mother at the hands of a murderer; from there things seemed to steadily spiral as she became the unwitting ‘final girl’ in what has been four separate murder sprees to-date. she always comes out of it alive, but at what cost? ( 16 - 45, cis female, lesbian ).
TREE GELBMAN: resident campus party girl and sorority alpha bitch turned murder victim... again, and again, and again. dying and reliving the same day on loop forces her to face the person she is, the people she’s hurt, and the grief she’s buried for three years and refused to acknowledge until she’s been forced to stare death in the face more times than she can count. oh yeah, she also has to figure out who keeps killing her, before she ends up staying dead. ( 21, cis female, bisexual ).
ADIRIS: the youngest of seven left on the steps of a temple at the age of five, adiris held onto the belief that the gods had a greater purpose for her. she spent the years that followed in quiet servitude, working her way up to assisting high priests when she came of age. when a great plague began to ravage the people of babylonia and the priests were no longer able to serve, she donned the title of high priestess and persisted to serve her people through purification rituals, doing her best to hide that the plague was slowly eating away at her body. when she isolated in the mountains with a few devoted followers and prayed for salvation, a fog began to engulf her and she sacrificed herself to the god behind it in an effort to save the people of babylonia. while her body was never recovered from the mountains, she continues to live on in a new realm, where she sacrifices unknowing survivors to the entity, the god she believes she was born to serve. ( eternally 20, cis female, asexual ).
AMY ROSE: a spunky hedgehog with a huge heart for her friends and an even bigger temper that you don’t want to trigger; more often than not, she’s helping clean up her friend sonic’s messes, but always enjoys the adventures he leads their friends on. ( idk dude she’s a cartoon hedgehog and I only write her bc of jack so ).
ÉLODIE RAKOTO: a young woman desperate to solve the mystery of her parents’ disappearance, élodie is every bit an adventuring spirit, finding it more lucrative to learn and discover by doing than observing. she works as an occult investigator, something that lands her in dangerous situations more often than not, but experience coupled with her sharp wit and resourcefulness ensures she worms her way out of every trap she can; even those that seem to have no end. ( 29, cis female, pansexual ).
LYDIA DEETZ: obsessed with death following the loss of her mother, lydia, more than anything, wants to talk about and process her grief: something her father is hell-bent on avoiding at all costs. when they move into a new home and he announces his engagement to the life coach he hired, she turns to the two ghosts and the demon she’s befriended for help, not knowing what consequences lurk around the corner for her. ( 15, cis female, tbd ).
JUNO MONTGOMERY: a pretty average person living pretty average life working at a pizzeria in downtown los angeles with the hopes of hitting it big --- if only studios would stop throwing her scripts in the reject pile. aside from dealing with pain-in-the-ass landlords, entitled customers and a mountain of debt courtesy of film school, life isn’t too bad. just painfully average. ( 25, cis female, tbd ).
NATALIA MARTINEZ: a homicide detective with a knack for seeing ghosts and communicating with the dead, thanks to a traumatic brain injury from a work-related gunshot wound to the head she miraculously survived. investigating murders is nothing new for her, but dealing with souls that can’t pass over until everything is set right is something else entirely. ( 42, cis female, lesbian ).
NICK ROBERTSON: lifelong best friend to jordan riley and a huge basketball enthusiast; hence why he’s played since he could hold a ball and rode that train all the way to a major in sports medicine at rothfield university. once graduation day comes, he and jordan plan to start their respective careers in sunny, sunny california --- they just have to survive a murder spree first. ( 21, cis male, tbd ).
PENELOPE DUSEK: an immortal witch with a special talent for all things related and connected to the dead, including reanimation --- with some fine print attached to that particular skill. by day, she’s your pleasant local baker, making the best homemade pies in the county and catering weddings, birthdays, bar mitzvahs and retirements alike, and by night, she’s escorting souls of the recently departed into the afterlife. you know, hot girl shit. ( 674, cis female, pansexual ).
