flashes of last night come through your mind, the way he held on to you with his firm hands. the way he bent you over and---oof.

his hands were wrapped around you, holding you close to his chest, his chest slowly moving against your back as he breathed deeply. His soft hair touched your shoulder and his beard rubbed against your neck.

you'd never slept with a guy, age, or just a man like Logan, someone who prioritized your pleasure, held you close and didn't quick you out at the butt crack of dawn. Though the verdict was still out on whether he wanted you around in the morning, but you hoped your weren't naive in thinking that because of the fact he was older than your average hook-up that maybe he'd want a date.

But they never did, they had the intentions to hang out and fuck, telling you that they wanted to get to know you. You fell for it every time and you rarely went out to find a hook-up. Meeting Logan, you didn't really mean for this to happen but he's wildly attractive and wanted to have you over.

"Uh- yeah im good." you hummed, leaning in to him as his hand come to your face and pulled you to kiss him. "How about a shower?"

"Sure, and I can go switch over your clothes-" He started as his hand came to your cheek, putting a firm pressure against your skin before wiping it away. You frowned looking down at his thumb as you saw black makeup on his skin. You flicked your eyes up to his a blush on your cheeks.

"My clothes? Did you wash them?"

"Can't sleep through most nights." Logan admitted, he lightly shrugged as he looked back at you with fond eyes.

"Well thank you, you can switch em over and join me?"

Logan hummed as he kissed you again, before getting up and pulling briefs over his hips. Then he offered you a robe as you got up from the bed, opening it for you, his eyes flitting down your body and back up, you tried not to flush completely. Your hands watching his movements as he grabbed the strings of the robe, pulling it a little tighter against you, your weight shifting towards him as he tied a bow on your waist. He was being so intimate, you were just trying to soak up what you could.

You wondered over to his bathroom, flicking on the lights and fan. Your eyes widened as you looked at your reflection in the mirror. Your lips were bruised, eyes were slightly swollen, a couple love bites marked your neck and your makeup was smeared.

You moved over to the shower, undoing his robe and placing it on the hook. When Logan joined you, you didn't expect him to wrap his arms around you, before pulling you flush against his naked body as he placed his lips on yours in a hot, tooth clashing kiss.

"Let me take care of you." He murmured, his hands running through your sudsy wet hair. You nodded, staring up at him with disbelief in your eyes as he smiled as your head dipped back into the stream of water, his eyes were stuck on you. Watching every little thing you did, every micro expression of pleasure on your face as his strong fingers massaged the conditioner into your hair. "You're so beautiful." He complimented; his hands stayed respectful as he took care of you, though his hands were pressing tightly against your skin.

After the shower, Logan had given you your clothes from the night before but offered to loan you some of his, as well. You blushed as you shrugged, and a smile came over his face. "How about you go into my room and think about it, see what happens, what you'll change into." His toothbrush was out of his mouth as he spoke, the two of you standing in front of the mirror.

"Shut up." You whispered, shyly, your hand went out to bat at his chest as he laughed, putting the toothbrush back into his mouth.

After finishing up in the bathroom, you headed back to his room to change while he went to the kitchen. You came out in one of his t-shirts that was a little tight against your skin. Then sporting your leggings from the night before. You were wrapped in his scent as you walked out of his room, the pine and tobacco of his shirt filling your senses. You padded out into the hallway before turning towards what you presumed was the kitchen. You hadn't seen much of his apartment last night.

As you got closer the smell of French toast floating through the air, before you spotted Logan at the stove, he was still shirtless. Though he was wearing some pajamas bottoms. He turned his head smiling over at you as you entered, before wondering over to him before hoisting yourself up on to the counter.

"Are you gonna ask me out?" You blurted. Logan's head whipped over to you, his eyebrow lifting as a smile played on his lips.

"You want me to, doll?" You looked down at your hands, smiling as you gazed back up at him to look into his eyes.

"I just want to get the point, I don't wanna sit here and hope for you to ask me out, if you aren't going to."

"Well it seems like you made the first move." He grinned, you lightly mock him under your breath. Logan moves the french toast out of the pan and onto a plate before setting the pan on the back burner.

"Lemme taste it."

"It's hot." He replied, as he shook powdered sugar on to the toast.

"I like hot food."

"You're insane, your gonna burn your mouth." Logan argued, his voice serious but light as he looked around. Your hand reached out for the syrup, handing it to him. He grinned over at you before turning towards the cabinets.

"I'll be fine." You urged, as he tore off a piece from the plate before dipping into the brown syrup, before bringing it up to his mouth and blowing on it. You watched the way his lips lightly puckered, his jaw clenching as he continued to make eye contact with you. You breathed out shakily as he came over to you, your hand coming for the fork, but he brought it up to your face. Your mouth opening for him, he slid the utensil inside and your lips closed around it. The moment was intimate between the two of you, his eyes grew darker as your tongue came out to lick at the syrup on your lips.

"You got some sugar-." He started, moving closer to you, even though you were on the counter, his still towered over you as his thumb came to the side of your chin. "Don't even know how it got there-." You giggled as you looked up into his eyes, a fond smile playing on his lips as his green hazel eyes peered down into yours.

Though your smile dropped when he brought the sugar up to your lips and wiped it against the sensitive skin. Your smile lines by your eyes crinkled lightly as you peaked your tongue out, meeting his thumb just as he was about to move away. A hazy look came over his eyes as he slowly poked the tip of his thumb into your mouth. You lightly sucked on his finger; your knees shaky from his heated gaze.

Then he pulled back, before putting his hands on either side of you and leaning in. "Defintely gonna take you out, but right now I'd like you on your knees."

"Uh, yeah, okay." You panted.

There is 0 initial affection, he's only in it for his entertainment or because he has something to gamble or get from you.

Kisses you with his eyes open, atleast at the start.

But gradually, when you realizes you won't be leaving because of his lack of effort, he might just soften up and start to let his guard down a little.

Though of course this is after a while, but you'll start to see the more vulnerable and faint side to him.

He'll become more affectionate gradually the more he begins to trust you with his feelings, though, it still might take a while. Patience is key.

He's still flirty no doubt, but now there's actually feelings and meaning to his words, and they aren't bluffs anymore.

His sense of fashion may or may not rub off on you..aka he forces you to wear matching clothes, it makes him feel special.

"Do i really need to where this..? Matching outfits are so tacky." You grumbled and adjusted the hat on your head before sighing and taking it off, running your fingers along the rim and raising a brow. "Well, you don't need to, but i would love you more if you did." He joked and fixed a few details on your jacket before taking the hat from your hands and setting it on your head. The king of shopping dates, if you don't like shopping though, then the two of you will probably be having at home dates most of the time.

But don't think for a second he isn't buying the most delectable (and expensive) food he can find, because to him, if its clothes, food, hair, nails, you name it. He thinks you're a worthy investment (he just likes to spend money on you.)

Speaking of giving presents, thats simply his love language, because i reckon he feels like if he gives enough, then he won't have to worry about you leaving him.

That being said, he'll need a bunch of reassurance to stop giving random super expensive presents. He'll still give you some regardless but he'll tone it down significantly.

He comes off as the kind of guy who only gives or takes longer kisses, to me atleast.

He might use this to his advantage if he perhaps gets jealous, which i think happens pretty often.

But i think there's also a chance of him just absolutely demolishing you once you two are home behind closed doors.

Switch energy, but can and will top when he feels like it.

He'll let you decide the pace though, he doesn't want intimate moments to feel transactional.

Afterwards, i Dunno i feel like he'd just fall asleep with you, then take of you the next morning.

You rolled away onto your stomach..or tried to, the tight grip of a certain blonde kept you from moving too far away. When you let out an uncomfortable grunt though, Aventurine was quick to let go and sit up to check on you. You opened your eyes and looked up at him, smiling a little before closing them again, "I'm fine, i'm fine.." you mumbled softly, but that didn't deter him. He leaned down and kissed your cheek before getting up, you opened your eyes and sat up on your elbows to watch him, he disappeared into the closet briefly and returned with one of his shirts. "Here you go Darling~" he cooed softly and held the shirt out from you, his messy bed head framed his face nicely. "ah..thank you-" you smiled and put it on before flopping back again. "Anything else i can get you? I can order food, or make bre-" He paused when you pulled him close all of a sudden. "Just cuddle with me for a little bit.." You muttered softly, and He nodded, pulling you close again..and like that, you two were cozy and asleep in minutes.

I personally like headcanoning Peacemaker as still being just a little too similar to Darkstalker in some aspects. He's obviously still a good dude, in fact he's an absolute sweetheart, but there's still some...characteristics. You know what I'll list them for the good of my inner child

Kid gets big. And I mean big. He's nowhere near Darkstalker's size, but he ends up really tall and heavy for a NightWing, let alone one thats supposedly half RainWing, which are not overly big dragons to begin with. This leads to most dragons trying to convince him to move into professions that require big guys, but his strength still helps him plenty with farming. It does make some people ask questions, though

He's not as narrow as Darkstalker was. As Darkstalker grew, his features became noticeably sharper, more IceWing in body type. Peacemaker has softer features, however his face never truly changed. It's not as jutting such as in the jawbone or horns, but he has a much more defined face that seems to stand out on a rounder body. He's terrified a few dragons on accident who saw him from a distance or as a silhouette and thought he was Darkstalker risen from the dead. He never understood why everyone was so scared

Doesn't quite like the RainWing part of himself. As a kid, he was never sure why. Sure, some dragons weren't very nice about it, but his mom loved him plenty, he had some really nice dragons like Moon and Kinkajou who who were really sweet, so he never quite got why he was upset about it. Maybe he was still mad at the dad who wasn't there? He wasn't sure why he was upset about that, either. He got better after having a lot of talks with his mom and friends, but that little piece of self-hatred never fully went away, and he can't for the life of him explain why

Had a lot of imaginary friends as a kid. They didn't always have names, but they were usually dragons he made up in his head. Like a scardy-cat SeaWing all the other dragonets accused of just being Turtle, or an actually scary SeaWing, or a super smart NightWing who knew all the answers to everything! Sometimes he made up a new NightWing queen or played a pretend war with the other dragonets. Occasionally, he said his friend that week was a big shadow. He said the big shadow seemed kind of angry and sad, but his shadow liked to listen. He slowly stopped after a while. Some of his older friends started looking worried. Imaginary friends were for babies, anyway.

He still has Darkstalker's horns. Those never changed, for some reason. Maybe a little less pointy on the ends, maybe a little thicker at the base, but they were still very much Darkstalker's Horns. Hope & the gang silently freaked out about this, but when some dragon brought it up in earshot of little Peacemaker, he loudly proclaimed he liked his horns, they were all funky and looked kinda like mister Winter's horns! Mister Winter is kind of rude sometimes, but he seems nice, so Peacemaker doesn't mind looking kind of like him! Winter was tormented over this for months

Sometimes he'll just...say things. That sound a little too similar to what some other dragon was thinking. Or make random guesses that are very close to what will actually happen. It's never by much, usually finishing other dragon's sentences or predicting the next thirty seconds, but it's enough to make Moon twitchy. He just thinks he has good luck

Once asked Hope if he could ever have a little sister. He never asked again. He'd never seen his mom cry before.

But not only during the kiss, the instrumental can lightly play in the background in either the learning of his backstory OR during that first moment you meet. Fell first(you) and fell harder(Silver). You fell first obviously bc he’s constantly asleep so it’d make more sense for you to fall first. And when you fall for him you begin to do things to help him out, some are smaller things like adjusting his head so his neck doesn’t hurt or bigger things like putting a pillow beneath his head(wheter thats one of your body parts or an actually pillow is up to you). Those little things add up and he notices and slowly you creep into his thoughts and dreams and now one of the only things he sees in his sleep is you. Convinced that its one of those tropes where you say you love him while you think he’s asleep and you think he doesn’t hear and he doesnt like you back, but he just hasn’t been able to find a way to tell you as their are many plot thrown in issues that get in his way.

Binary Boyfriends Demetri and Hawk who after so much avoidance and trying to ignore their feelings finally get together. Their friends are so happy for them and Miguel and Sam are constantly dragging them on double dates all the time. Hawk chooses the most inappropriate of times to be super flirty with Demetri, which flusters the lanky guy to no end. Hawk just loves making his boyfriend blush all the time. Demetri swears left and right about how much he hates it but it secretly riles him up and turns him on because he loves it when Hawk is dominate over him in public places. Thats just part of their day to day. Life is normal for the couple.

That is until Reader rolls into town. She's kind and sweet and innocent. But of course they didn't know that until they got to know her better.

They guys are at the comic store when they first see her. She's looking through a section of women written comics that look cutesy but are deeper than that. A male employee asks if she needs help and she asks if they knew when they'll get the newest issue and they have a whole conversation about the series and they're having a nice time until he gets pulled away by another customer. She waves him off with a laugh and goes back to browsing.

Demetri can't help himself from walking over and asking her about the series. He's never read it before and he couldn't help but overhear her excitement for it. Hawk was a little too busy looking through some old comics that he didn't notice his boyfriend wasn't beside him anymore until he hears a squeal. He looks over and sees Reader shoving a first issue comic in his hands and telling him all about how great the series is. He's nodding along and smiling, promising to read it if she's so enthusiastic about it.

Hawk walks over and asks them what's up. He's actually a little jealous seeing a pretty lady talking to his guy like that. So when he walks over, he gives Demetri’s ass a hard squeeze. He introduces himself as Demetri's boyfriend so Reader knows. But Reader doesn't really show any reaction to it. In fact, she smiles and giggles and puts her hand out to shake Hawk's. He's a little startled because for a ment he thought she was using his boyfriend's interest in comics to get close and flirt with him. But that smile isn't a sneaky smiles. It's so sweet and genuine.

They end up hanging out in the food court talking about Reader and how she ended up in the Valley. The longer she talks, the more both guys are enamored by her. She has this laugh that just enchants them and now Hawk feels bad about his earlier thoughts. Then they learn she's never been in a relationship before and so it was easier to move to the Valley with few ties back home. And it's shocking because she's so sweet and beautiful, and Demetri tells her as much. But she just.shrugs it off and laughs.

They exchange information and part ways and it seems like they've made a new friend. Except for days after, the boyfriends can't stop thinking about her. They don't talk about it at first, but oh boy when she does first come up, they can't stop talking about her. They don't think much of it. She's a nerdy and sweet new friend. That's all. But it quickly becomes more than that, especially when they start talking about her in bed.

Hawk tells Demetri while they were fucking, "I bet you wanna fuck Reader, be the one to take her virginity! Am I right?"

And Demetri can't even respond. He's so overwhelmed with the idea that he comes all over their sheets and he's whining. He shakes his head, wanting to be degraded, waiting for it.

And Hawk delivers: "Well you can't. You're too big for her. You'll break her in half. You can't be her first - fuck! - you'll just hurt her. It should be me! I should fuck her just like this and- fuckfuckfuck! Gonna fucking ruin her better than you can! Better than you ever could!"

He comes and fills Demetri’s guts, not at all hiding the fact that he wishes they were with Reader in this moment instead. They end up laying in bed panting, sweaty and messy, daydreaming about her between them; touching her curves, kissing her tits, making her moan and scream.

"We should invite her over," Demetri says. They've been texting her nonstop and promising to show her around the Valley.

Hawk nods and licks his lips. "Yeah, yeah we should."

incomplete list of weird/interesting manga-anime discrepancies

-you know the bit where they break into the girls highschool in episode 2? yea thats chapter 56. spliced into the middle of chapter 4. its supposed to go before the bit with the ghost family as a lead up to the mogami arc with mob starting to consider evil spirits as just as much “people” as living humans are. all things considered its kind of weird how well it fits its anime placement

-ritsu in the manga gets introduced in the same chapter as teru. you dont see mobs family at all for the first few chapters. infact i dont think his parents appear until like. chapter 25????? every interaction you see between mob and any of his family is completely made up for the anime

-in the manga during the claw arc instead of reigen sending them away all the lackeys just stood there awkwardly during the fight w the scars fdnjksndkjgnd

-mogami arc got GUTTED my god. the part where the fake psychics tried to murder minori got removed, shinras role in the arc got reduced to basically nothing, they move mogamiland ritsu to a bridge like 50 feet away instead of having him walk right over mob, mob only gets beat up like twice, the cat lives, the boxcutter bit is totally removed, the fight with the spirits is made a lot more abstract and less graphic. like im glad this one took the hit instead of the separation arc bc i cant imagine that arc ever being effective as one episode but wow.

-putting the “mob finding his family dead” thing at the end of the episode instead of in the middle of a chapter where it originally was was an objectively hilarious move

-rip the scene of teru outsmarting all three claw guys and saying “say old man have you ever been tortured before” unfortunately all scenes of teru being competent are not plot relevant and must die. also teru can make shadow clones

-hey remember those weird satellite people in claw keeping the viewer updated on where all the characters were in that infinite arc?

-mob with a gun.

-mob getting briefly knocked out while fighting toichiro and dimple possessing him then getting kicked out was replaced w toichiro just throwing him out the window or somethhing???

-toichiro saying that he only kept the super five around as spare batteries and draining serizawas power getting cut was a personal affront to me

-every single emotion mob cycled through in the anime got a 100% meter. the kid was super emotionally unstable in that fight

-that old man whos house they went to whos wraith made everyone asleep that they exorcised? yea they anime team made that up. they never went to his house in the manga, he just went to spirits and such for a shoulder massage

-manga reigen got 0 money for helping the yokai dude. it wasnt on the table. also most of the stuff he was saying was lifted from a video game serizawa played which he pointed out. also serizawa thought getting arrested was a type of spell

-takenakas general meanness was significantly toned down manga takenaka was a huge bitch

-in general the alien arc was a lot funnier in the manga? like the scene where reigen crashes they had reached a dead end on an extremely narrow path and were driving in reverse while tome and takenaka were screaming at each other in the back and inukawa was 5 seconds from snapping and killing everyone in the car. these might be my favorite pages in the entire manga they as so fucking funny

-originally when tome said she wouldnt keep climbing reigen suggested mob carry her with telekinesis (which horrified her) and mob said he was too motion sick to use his powers (obvious lie) but could carry her instead which got her to get up

-mezato asking mob to sign a t shirt for the psycho helmet cult in exchange for relationship advice got cut

-i cry every day that the sequence of ???% waking up didnt get animated it set a very different tone than the anime did. the anime was like. slow build up of dread. the manga was immediately bone deep horror i was literally sitting in my room yelling “WHAT???” over and over again at my computer as i clicked through it

-shigeo and mob conversation cut down significantly, all the references to the body improvement club being mob making a new self rather than embracing who he really is and being scared that all the friends hes made wouldnt like the real him removed </3

-the scene where reigen takes his shoes off is made a lot less somber and depressing. it feels less like “oh he knows hes going to die” and more like. triumphant? in the anime

-100% shigeo kageyama is an anime addition they added specifically to ruin my “the first time we see mob 100% is to fight dimple and the last time is to stop himself from fighting dimple” observation

-anime teru generally seems like hes in a better place than manga teru? manga teru seems very melancholy and like he doesn’t really know what to do with his life or his place in the world (which seems to put shigeo off) but anime teru is like wanna go shopping ^_^ *sips tea happily*

-manga shigeo deliberately threw the cake directly in reigens face and my fury over them making this ambiguous will last until i am dead

At first their relationship looks from outside like a very Sunshine x Sunshine/ Innocent x Innocent one, but one day some guy flirts with Reader, making her very uncomfortable, and Enzo shows up, his possessive/protective instincts kicking in, puts the guy in his place (maybe exaggerating a bit) and everyone is super surprised because he basically almost never fights, and Reader is at first very taken aback but still offers to clean his minor injuries up, and Enzo starts overthinking that maybe he scared her or worse, but they talk about it and in the end she reassures him that she just doesn't like to see him hurt and she got worried about him, but definitely not scared. You were clutching onto your books as the intimidating man flirted with you, “So, what’s a pretty girl like you walking to class by herself for?” He said as he leaned against the wall, almost pinning you against the stone.

You shuddered as you felt his warm breath on your cheek, he was entirely too close for comfort.

“Um…” you began before he was ripped away from you, his back hitting the wall beside you. Thats when you saw your boyfriend, Lorenzo, pinning him to the wall with an angry look on his face.

“What do you think you’re doing chirpsing my girl?” He asked, taking him by the collar.

“Maybe your girl…shouldn’t be wearing such a short skirt if she doesn’t want guys coming up to her?” He laughed in Enzo’s face.

You uncomfortably pulled down your skirt, this morning you couldn’t find your tights so your legs were bare, you didn’t think it was that much of a problem.

Enzo’s fist collided into Cormac’s jaw, a loud cracking sound following after. You gasped as he threw another punch his way before Cormac hit him back straight in the nose. Enzo quickly clapped back with another punch to his face, pinning him to the wall.

“Don’t you ever. Talk to my girl. Ever. Again.” He said.

Professor mcgonagall swiftly made her way to the scene, breaking up the two boys. She sent Enzo your way before escorting Cormac to her office.

“Are you alright?” Your eyebrows furrowed as you took his bruised face into your hands. “I am fine, sweetheart. Are you?” He asked as he pressed his hand over yours.

You huffed, giving him an ‘are you serious’ look. You took his hand and began to lead him to the prefects lavatory, as you were one yourself. You bursted into the bathroom and pushed him against the sink.

You turned on the water and rushed to grab some paper towels, wetting them and ringing them out. His gaze followed you as you moved around the bathroom.

He wondered if he had did the right thing by hurting Cormac, his emotions had gotten the best of him. He had just wanted to protect you. He winced as you pressed the wet towel onto his nose, cleaning off the blood.

“Are you upset with me? Did I scare you?” He asked with a saddened expression. You sighed, “No, my love. I just…don’t like seeing you get hurt and fight because of me.”

“I didn’t like seeing him flirt with you and touch you.” His words made you smile, “I know, it just shocked me. I’ve never seen you like that.” You said as you dabbed the towel on his skin.

“I’m sorry..” he apologized as he wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you closer to him. You smiled, you pressed a soft kiss on his jaw.

“Don’t be. You were just protecting me. It’s like you’re my very own Prince Charming.” You giggled, his face lit up before he pressed a thousand kisses all over your face before pressing a kiss on your soft lips, making you both forget about all your troubles.

I present to you a rare but simple DukeTim!

Recently saw a super cute post about a deaged Duke who refused to trust anyone besides Tim, because Tim was his Robin. It made me think about Duke who had a massive crush on Robin 3 and it doesn't go away when he moves into the manor and gets to know Tim personally.

Duke being all starstruck but doing his best to play it cool and failing (Their first meeting involved Duke winking and doing finger guns. Remembering it still keeps him up at night). But come on! That's his Robin! The one he grew up with, the one who swooped in when Batman was self-destructing and pulled him back. Maybe Duke even witnessed Tim getting between a downed goon and Batman because the goon had clearly had enough. Robin Tim standing tall against a man twice his size and many multitudes stronger and demanding he be listened to. It was truly awe inspiring, even more so because it worked.

Tim being Duke's first crush and sexual awakening. He had been worried at first that Tim wouldn't like him because he was a meta and Batman had a strict no metas rule - even if he was bending it for Duke. But Tim was welcoming and friendly, offering to introduce Duke to his meta friends and helping him navigate his powers. Duke trying so hard to flirt with Tim but being so so cringe about it because he's younger and inexperienced and it's hard to think straight around your crush ("You fight pretty girl - GOOD! Pretty good! Haha, yeah" *praying for the ground to swallow him whole*).

Luckily for Duke, Tim is apparently into cringy and awkward flirting, because he flirts back. Duke living the dream, dating his Robin and loving every minute of it: Tim is just so cool and sweet and smart ❤️! Duke is definitely the type of guy who gushes about his girlfriend/wife every chance he gets.

(for the record, I think Duke is normally really cool(like, temperament and personality wise) - he literally started his own gang and is a superhero, there's nothing not cool about that. But I also love the idea that every ounce of cool disappears when confronted with his crush🥰)

tim being duke's robin is so cute 🥺🥺🥺 tim spending so much time worried during his robin days over living up to jason and dick's legacies and him being duke's robin is when he gets direct confirmation that he did something right ❤️. then duke being around him and being SO unable to hide how interested he is and how much he wants tim to like him because THATS HIS ROBIN. he's trying so hard to be cool and aloof but regrets it so much it keeps him up at night with thoughts 'god that was so cringefail 😖'. but tim LOVES it, thinks he's so sincere and sweet with his awkward flirting and the way his eyes just scream pleasepleaseplesapleaseplease. duke feels like he's walking on air when he starts dating his robin, he talks about him to everyone if there's even a moment of silence. he's gushing to same gagged and tied up criminal about how he has a date tonight while they're sitting there and forced to listen to him 😭.

bestie give me your most recent yaku headcanons, I need them like I need water 🙏🙏

YAKU THE GOAT!! Happy late-birthday to that guy, wish I drew him for the occasion :')

I have a bunch of team-based rambles sitting in the drafts that i’ll probably dump this week but here are some specifically Yaku-centric thoughts! 

Fastest runner on the team by a long shot, there's no escaping him once you're being chased (ESPECIALLY if you pissed him off). Before practice you'll often see Lev sprinting from the club room only to be tackled to the ground a few seconds later (he probably said something dumb again or knocked shit over with his gangly-ass arms).

Because he's so fast Kuroo sends Yaku to fetch stuff from the main building when needed, which only works because he lays the flattery on THICK ("Because you're soooo fast, you're the only one who can do it! I can't trust anyone else for this Yakkun, the whole team is relying on you" etc etc). Yaku grumbles but he's incredibly weak to praise and usually ends up caving.

Of the third-years Yaku spoils the first-years the most. He's constantly buying them meat buns after practice or taking time during breaks to help them improve their recieves. Again, he's super susceptible to compliments and loves being looked up to so he's willing to spend a bit of money to win their approval. He and Kuroo are always arguing about which of them is the better senpai, when asked they answer Yaku to keep their free food privledges (much to Kuroo's despair). Yaku would never choose favorites... but it's totally Shibayama.

Speaking of Shibayama he's so fucking proud of that kid, he acts like his father even though they're only two years apart in age. After the timeskip Yaku makes a point of watching his games on TV and messaging him about it afterwards. He's the type to point out moves and go "I taught him that." They stay pretty tight as adults

Him and Suga also keep in touch, after their first meeting at the practice match in s1 they started texting each other stupid things their idiot teammates are up to and tips on dealing with them.

Fourth biggest eater on the team (Behind Inuoka and Tora, tied with Fukunaga). It's baffling how much food he can put down in such a short period of time.

Obsessed with this detail from one of the chapter headers, I think Yaku is a serial food stealer and he GETS AWAY WITH IT since he's so fast and nimble. Menace, do not take your eyes off him when in the possesion of snacks.

I JUST FINISHED SONK ADVENTURE 2 IM NOT OKAY OMG

The scene with Shadow falling to earth was funny at first and it all happened so fast i was still trying to wrap my head around it. Ppl talk about that scene a lot which theyre so right for, but i need to talk about the scenes after because oh my god they broke me!?!??!

Sonic, coming back onto the ark, completely silent. Everyone asking if Shadow made it back and he just slowly shakes his head without a word.

The scene where Sonic gives Rouge Shadow's inhibitior ring hold so much more weight to me after actually playing the game: In the short time they knew each other, Shadow saved Rouge's life. Twice. This is the only possession she has to remember him by. Knuckles asks her what shes going to do now and she actually stops to reflect and remarks how shes thinking of changing jobs, something else on her mind now(What exactly shes referring to in this moment isnt stated but theres a fair few connections to draw there). After almost getting killed during a heist and never getting a chance to thank the guy who saved her from it, that's a pretty good and strangely mature call to make from a writing standpoint. This whole scene has a similar feeling like that, like the jokes and the extravagance thats typical of the cutscenes have really been toned down with intention.

This one genuinely shocked me, and im really surprised i havent come across anything about it yet because the scene between Eggman and Tails was actually super deep?? There are a lot of different Sonic medias as far as I im aware that have touched on the paralells between Eggman and Tails: their small similarities and how well they work together when they have to, but the scene here really stuck out to me. Eggman is talking about how much he admired his grandfather as a child, how much his work inspired him to learn and create and strive to be great like him, drifting off to question whether or not he really wanted to see them all fall. Tail's response is very chipper and optimistic, but i really like the idea of Eggman having almost this turning point here, having to face something so saddening as watching someone you love curse the world and everyone on it(including you). After arguably some of the most dangerous and threatening feats have been accomplished by Eggman in this game as the story's primary antagonist, is this moment a nod to him maybe stopping to think about what he's done? Im amazed by how much meaning can be taken from these few seconds of dialogue!!

Finally, the last two moments. Amy, despite having had her own short heart to heart with Shadow before the final battle and ultimately being the one to spurr Shadow on to fight alongside Sonic and the others, doesn't seem as upset by Shadows death as Sonic is. This is genuinely, in my limited knowledge of Sonic media, one of the only instances i have seen Sonic be thoroughly shaken up by something and brushed it off when someone asks him whats wrong. In most cases, he's just relatively unfazed from an emotional standpoint like that, so theres nothing to brush off in the first place. But here, the ever-yapping blue blur remains silent for a while, just staring at Earth in a similar paralell to how Shadow used to. It isn't until Amy comes by that he looks away. Its the really subtle details here that get me: Sonic doesn't look or respond to her right away. There's a prominent pause of silence before he turns to her and says its nothing, switching the topic immediately to rush her along. Sonic, typically impatient and eager to move to the next adventure, slows down and is the last to leave the deck, delivers the farewell line to end the game. Again, the contrast in how slowly and soft he speaks here in comparison to literally anything else he says in the game is insane. The pause between "Shadow" and "the Hedgehog" is still very funny to me and im not lost on how the delivery does end up being chopped up quite goofy like that, but if that isnt an absolutely insane way to end off the game with such a somber, emotional moment...

Sonadow or no sonadow, take it as you will, its undeniable how impactful this adventure in particular is to Sonic. How much Shadow meant to him by the end of the game. How much his sacrifice meant. I really see his discussion with Rouge as both a way to comfort her, and to comfort himself. To say out loud how heroic and brave he'd seen Shadow to be, regardless of the intention that came from his creation. Sonic is big on freedom and giving people the opportunity to live how they want to, and Shadow's sacrifice in that regard means even more to him. He had just come to understand what he had truly promised Maria he'd do, joined Sonic whole-heartedly to help save the planet, and never got to experience anything beyond that. Given Eggmans continuous antangonistic streak at that point (I'm not fully aware of the other villain's Sonic had faced up until that point), it's rare that Sonic actually gets to see someone who opposed him change for the better!! And not only was Shadow one of the first to do so, but he was a speedy teen hedgehog!!! Just like Sonic himself!!! Its like Shadow said, there was so much more to them that they never got to find out about each other!! The fact that Shadow gave up all of that possibility, all of his own personal freedom to help Sonic save the planet and the freedom of all the people on it? That hits. HARD.

Im not familiar with the full canon of how Sonic actually managed to get one of Shadow's inhibitior rings to give to Rouge, as he's actually not shown in any scene taking them off during the final battle(i actually dont even think their mechanics are properly explained which is more confusing but yk), but getting into more headcanony, sonadow adjacent space for a second? I like to think Shadow actually took two of his rings off/had two break off before he fell. Sonic gave one to Rouge, and secretly kept the other for himself. He obviously didn't want his friends to ask him more questions about how he was feeling, so he hid it in his quills before he greeted them back on the ark. Shadow ended up meaning a lot to Sonic, and it's really interesting to think about what was running through Sonic's mind when all was said and done.

Uhhh anyways good game very very infuriating at times but very good game i have a true taste for the appeal of Sonic games now and i want to play them all. • he started seeing Fatgum giving you your favorite snacks and always pinching your little cheeks and carrying you around Seeing you happy and smiling with him made him sick he should be the one making you happy and spoiling you the final straw was when you accidentally calling fatgum uncle while fatigue eyes sparkle all might had a dark glint in his eye and a threatening aura surrounding him he was gonna have to do something about this

•So one day, while you and Kirishima were chatting with each other fatigue watched happily as the two of you were getting along until he felt a cold hand on his shoulder "They look like they're having fun right young hero!" there stood all might in his muscle form, Fatgum smiled "Yea they've been getting along well! It's almost liked they're dating!" all might smile twitch when he heard that last part even tho he knew he wasn't joking his blood was still boiling so he pinned the young hero in the wall his blue eyes piercing down on him the all might glared into his eyes

•"Listen here I'm tired of beating around this bush I want you to stay far away from them as possible and stop tryna influence that student of yours to get with them" To his surprise fatigue chuckled, "Thats funny hilarious even but no way just because your a worry some clingy ass number 1 can't handle someone touching what's "Theirs" doesn't mean im gonna back down" all might stared at the man in shocked but it quickly turned into a rage "Why you lit-" suddenly you and kiri ran up to the two heroes they both stare you in silence until fatgum said something

"Hey little buds back already?" "Yea! me and kiri were learning new tricks! kiri taught me how to block with your torso" the two of you eyes sparkle while fatgum chuckled to himself "Yea y/ns moved were super manly they even taught me their new power move you gotta see it!" "Alright you guys I'll catch up! Don't try to hurt yourselves!" when the 2 Teens left fatgum looked at All might with a smirk "also I recorded everything you said so be cautious with your actions" and with that fatgum happily followed behind the children like there was nothing wrong leaving all might angry and shocked he cursed under his breath but he was not gonna back down easily or even Never

•To this day the 2 mostly all might would compete to each other about whos better then who like how All Might would make you fly up in the sky while holding you to see the view and if you are scared of heights that's ok he'll carry you on his back while his fan are in awe

•Fatgum would just try to piss off all might By Giving you your favorite treats, Making you and kiri wear his costume while he just dies from happiness and taking pictures, Whenever all might spotted him he was spin you around or pinch your cheeks making all might glaring like he wanted to commit murder

This is going to be a very rambling and venty post cause im tired and annoyed and honestly am just using this to vent my anger/hurt. there is going to be stuff that can maybe be seen as anti tommy/bucktommy (please dont tell me a ship name to put i dont care about if they do have an agreed upon ship name right now) so if you dont want that please just move on. i dont want to fight i just want to yell into the void on a stupid throw away account so i dont bring my negativity stew and come out on my main blog where i just want to enjoy my stuff and just keep happy energy. I dont normally post and try and just find someone who explains it better because im not great and getting what im saying across or understood the way i want, so please bear with me. With that said i will move on to what i want to say

Okay so i have been watching 9-1-1 for years and i love and adore it. Its characters and dynamics and i have always loved found family. Now i will admit that i started watching it thinking that Buck and Eddie were a couple and had a son so i was kinda watching for it. Do i think if i didn't start watching thinking that i would ship them still yes 100%. I have always loved their relationship and i have loved watching both Buck and Eddie grow and start to be happy while also having each others back even at the worst times. Sometimes if i think to hard about Eddie and start crying cause I'm very normal about this show and it characters. Now Eddie is my favorite character in the show and at least in my top five overall favorite characters. I love him and his development and i adore seeing how much he does to just do right by Chris even when he messes up you can tell how much he adores that boy and how badly he wants to give Chris the best life possible. I could write essays about Eddie Diaz trying to explain how much i love him and why and i think words would run out before i could finish making people understand. Buddie is my favorite ship (sometimes second depending on my mood. i would say sorry but Henren and Madney will always be amazing ships and sometimes i just cant stop think about them)(Sorry Bathena i love you too i swear i just cant decide if i wanna kiss athena or be adopted by bobby and athena:( Its confusing) and has been for quite awhile and is one of my overall favorites and its one of my comfort ships.

With that context when bi Buck happened i was so insanely happy and i wouldnt shut up about it. it made me sick. i was so happy for Buck and while i think a part of me will always be a little sad Eddie wasnt his first kiss with a guy i dont think either of them are ready for that. i also understand that it wouldnt make sense for how the story is going right now. Now i have nothing against bucktommy in the show. I have watched the kiss scene and sobbed to much to pretend like i hate them or even dislike them. However I genuinely dont care about Tommy. Hes kinda bland and i forget about him half the time and before they brought him back i completely forgot his name. in my mind he was the one that wasnt as much of an asshole to chim and hen as the other two assholes which wasnt saying a lot. Now I dont dislike tommy nor am i going to act like hes irredeemable because neither Chim nor Hen seem to think hes still that guy and while they dont seem super close they seem to get along so clearly, he's not like that anymore. I have nothing that makes me dislike him nor do I like him. He's just there. He's just the guy buck kissed. Thats all he means to me. I would give up his screen time for Ravi or May or Karen in a heartbeat. because i love them cause they mean something to me. I don't think i thought about the fact that people might actually like him especially not more than EDDIE.

This is where the context matters cause i am to my core a one ship per person girly. I might see a ship and people who like it and even think thats not a terrible ship but i will still only look at content for my ship for that person (ie. i ship Destiel (dont say anything bad about them ill cry<3) but i can see the way someone would also ship Dean and Benny or crowley or Cas and Crowley or Mick but i will ignore the ship and move on and look at more Dean and Cas). normally i will just ignore the ship and move on because im not who its for. If it gets annoying in my tag or anything like that ill block it or whoever is annoying me cause its not a them problem that i dont want to see it. When i start to have a problem is when multiple people arent tagging right for whatever reason or people who are being rude about the ship i like because of their ship. When I started seeing Bucktommy stuff more and more in the 9-1-1 tag i went to the buddie tag cause i dont want to see them. my problem is that when im reading on AO3 and click on a fic tagged Buddie where bucktommy get married. it was literally just hurting Eddie. There was stuff before like id be scrolling though the buddie tag here and see someone saying that Tommy is a better character then Eddie and saying that they hope bucktommy is endgame. Whatever block and move on. Just like always but then people who have shipped buddie for years who ive seen talk about them are suddenly saying that they like bucktommy better. People who started watching because of bucktommy saying they dont like Eddie. People are going to have different opinions but it still bugged me. and then i read that and i was just hurt because it was tagged happy ending and i cannot fathom ever thinking Eddie hurting and pining is a happy ending. So i started to get more annoyed and i hate when that happens especially with a show i love and a character i dont dislike so i tried to just move on but more and more people are taking about it then i saw someone saying that they wanted eddie to die so buck and tommy can have Chris.

I just hate that so many people are jumping on the bucktommy train and saying that they like it better than buddie something that is so good and sweet or saying that they like Tommy more than Eddie. I just dont get it cause Tommy is boring. like yeah we now some about him and he flies a helicopter but hes forgettable he could be a completely different person and next to nothing would have to change. We have seen Eddie at his worst and claw his way back up and hes finally letting himself be open and honest and soft. Eddie couldnt be replaced. Now im not saying Tommy can't be an interesting character but as he is right now?? He just isnt. Hes just as bland as every women (minus Taylor and Shannon) Buck and Eddie have dated and been hated on for no reason!!! Like i get that Tommy is a guy and we got canon Bi Buck and people are happy but those same people turn around and shit on Marisol from what ive seen(I could be wrong cause again i have done my best to avoid). Buddie fans arent safe from that either, cause we all know that Buddie fans do that but so many of those people who hated on them and said they didnt want them with anyone else suddenly decided that they were okay if Buck ended up with any guy. I dont know its just weird and i hate how many people are acting like Eddie isnt always going to be better then Tommy. Part of me wanted Tommy to stick around and help Buck and Eddie figure it all out but now?? i honestly just cant wait for him to be gone cause I want to have fun and read fics for my comfort ship and just chill where i can see all of my ships in the show without buck and tommy being everywhere or people saying crap about Eddie.

I have more to say but most of its about how gratifying waiting and seeing where this whole thing goes(Buddie season 8 PLEASE!!) and this is already why to long and i think im just going in circles and none of this makes sense so ima shut up for now and hopefully this will help it not fester and drive me insane and become a tommy hater

Edit: but i also hate that Tommy calls Buck Evan so he already had some stuff against him rip

when your boyfriend of two years moved in with you in a small but comfy apartment, you surely hadn't taken him for the type to do everything around the house. scaramouche has always had the ability to get quickly tempered, but you didn't know that that would apply to chores as well.

after a month or two, you got used to his constant nagging that always fixated on the dishes in the sink and the state of the bedroom. the thing is, he never makes you do it. "tsk, there's a spoon in the sink, (name). you know how i want the sink to be empty at all times," he would say, all the while putting on his rubber gloves and apron.

you peek from the doorframe of the kitchen. "it's a single spoon, scara. plus, i'll do it if-" he stops you short with a raise of the hand. "no, no. that won't be necessary." and the conversation ends there, or so he thought. you muse, "hm, i've been thinking about something for awhile."

scaramouche doesn't look up from his work as he scrubs the spoon with a soapy sponge, "yeah?" as he reaches forward to open the faucet, you add, "you're kind of like my little househusband in training." you pause when you hear the clatter of the spoon. scaramouche slowly turns to face you, "what did you say."

you laugh, amused by his reaction. "i mean, you kind of got the part down." scaramouche takes off his gloves and apron to make his way to you in a few strides. he holds your face in one hand, squishing your pudgy cheeks with his lithe fingers. "if i'm to be the househusband, that means you have to play the role of my spouse, no?"

scaramouche also takes care of things like meals. unlike his mother, who could blow up the entire world if she even touched the buttons of the stove, he's fairly good at cooking. breakfast, lunch, dinner, you name it. he'll be calling you from the kitchen to come and eat and you'll be greeted with a table full of meals.

once in a while, he'll let you help him. he prefers it whenever you take a part in baking rather than cooking, since it's less dangerous, in a way. speaking of your well-being, scaramouche always checks up on you, possibly more than your own parents do.

whenever he feels as if you've been studying too long, he'll pry you away from your screen to spend time with him. "c'mon, i'm more fun than words on a screen." he'd say, cuddling with you on the couch in the living room. feeling overwhelmed? scaramouche is your go-to guy.

he'll turn off the lights, only leaving the television set as the two of you snuggle beneath the blankets. scaramouche comfortingly strokes your hair and whispers endearments, your head resting in his lap as he soothes all of your worries away.

and even though scaramouche manages most of the house chores, he somehow is able to balance his college life as well. he wears reading glasses whenever he studies but he finds that he focuses better when he does it with you. he'll pretend that he doesn't know an easy question and makes you help him out from that point.

every night is spent with him in your arms or you in his, words of affection exchanged and kisses shared before the sleepiness gets to you two. scaramouche can be mean sometimes, but he's big on being soft when it comes to you. it's almost like his lips are made for yours, considering the way they perfectly slot against your lips is heavenly.

in the morning, he'll be awakened by you peppering kisses all over his face and clinging onto him like a koala to a tree. that is, if you wake up before him. every other morning, you'll rise to the smell of freshly cooked food. though the point is, scaramouche is the ideal domestic boyfriend and maybe even a househusband... ♡
