HOMEWORK. drafting decrees, designing economic policies, and writing conflict resolution strategies fit for ruling a kingdom PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. always address her formally, take notes in impeccable script, and never question the importance of royal protocol AVOID MISHAPS. never suggest solving political disputes with a sword—she insists that diplomacy, not duels, is the mark of a true ruler

HOMEWORK. balancing enchanted budgets, predicting market trends in fairy-tale economies, and occasional field trips to enchanted banks filled with gold PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. keep your calculations accurate and your economic theories sound—Fairy Godmother investments rely on precision, not guesswork AVOID MISHAPS. don’t accept enchanted gold from leprechauns or trickster fairies—it will vanish overnight, and your grade will disappear with it

HOMEWORK. none! ( whew ) but in class, expect daily obstacle courses, tower-climbing drills, and team challenges that involve fleeing from imaginary witches PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. keep up, move fast, and don’t complain—Coach G is all about agility and endurance, and he does’t slow down. ever AVOID MISHAPS. never eat anything left unattended in the gym—there’s a 50/50 chance it’s either an energy-boosting enchanted snack or a curse-laced trick. you never know!
CHEMYTHSTRY. taught by Professor Rumplestiltskin
a mix of potions, alchemy, and enchanted chemistry, this course teaches students how to brew everything from love potions to transformation elixirs—if they can handle Professor Rumplestiltskin’s cryptic riddles and tricky assignments. with an emphasis on magical reactions and the delicate balance of ingredients, students must be precise, or they may find themselves accidentally cursed or turned into gold
HOMEWORK. brewing potions, analyzing alchemical reactions, and testing the properties of enchanted elements PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. follow instructions to the letter—Rumplestiltskin loves precision and has a zero-tolerance patience for careless spell-mixing AVOID MISHAPS. never, under any circumstances, agree to any kind of “trade” with the professor in exchange for an easier assignment. it’s not worth it, trust me
DAMSEL - IN - DISTRESSING CLASS. taught by Madam Maid Marian
a staple for traditional storybook heroines, this class teaches the fine art of swooning at the right moment, perfecting the helpless-yet-charming gaze, and calling for help in a voice that carries across enchanted forests. Madam Maid Marian ensures her students master the delicate balance between appearing vulnerable while subtly manipulating the situation to their advantage—because even the most distressed damsels know how to work a fairytale in their favor
HOMEWORK. practicing swooning, perfecting a well-timed gasp, and composing letters of woe to imaginary rescuers PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. always act appropriately dramatic when learning proper distress techniques—anything less than peak theatrics is disappointing AVOID MISHAPS. don’t accidentally outshine the prince in a rescue simulation—nothing gets you on her bad side faster than saving yourself ( no matter how blitheringly useless your rescuer may be )
CREATIVE STORYTELLING. taught by Professor Jack B. Nimble
in this dynamic and expressive class, students learn how to craft compelling narratives, whether for written tales, theatrical performances, or enchanting oral traditions. Professor Jack B. Nimble, known for his quick wit and lively teaching style, encourages students to think outside the storybook and experiment with different genres, endings, and perspectives, ensuring their own tales are just as spellbinding as the ones that came before them
HOMEWORK. writing fairytales with unexpected endings, crafting riddles, and creating engaging oral stories to be performed in class PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. be witty, be original, and never deliver a boring story—Professor Jack lives for quick thinking and clever twists ( students still whisper about the time he literally fell asleep in the middle of a student’s story ) AVOID MISHAPS. avoid clichés at all costs—it says in the syllabus that if he hears “once upon a time” too often, he might jump out the window in protest
ADVANCED VILLAINY. taught by Mr. Badwolf
for those embracing their darker destinies ( or just wanting to understand the mind of a villain—it’s an elective, too ) this class explores the art of scheming, deception, and tactical villainy. Mr. Badwolf, with his menacing charm and years of experience causing trouble, teaches students how to craft masterful monologues, execute dramatic entrances, and plan foolproof plots—complete with an emphasis on avoiding the classic pitfalls that lead to a villain’s downfall
HOMEWORK. devising foolproof villainous schemes and identifying weak points in heroic plans. bonus points for sabotaging another student’s assignment PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. show ambition, strategy, and more than a little bit of wicked flair—Mr. Badwolf respects students who think like masterminds AVOID MISHAPS. don't act heroic in class—while he tolerates reform-minded students, he won’t hesitate to assign extra homework as punishment if he feels anyone's too generous or kindhearted
FASHION DESIGN. taught by Mrs. Fairy Godmother
a dream-come-true class for aspiring designers, where students learn to craft magical ensembles, enchant fabrics, and create garments that are both stylish and spellbinding. with Mrs. Fairy Godmother’s expertise in transformation magic, students practice stitching together gowns that change color at midnight, boots that walk on air, and accessories infused with fairy dust. bonus points for those who can design an outfit fit for a royal ball and an epic quest. the class blends traditional design principles with a touch of enchantment, encouraging students to create outfits that reflect their unique personalities and tell their own fairy tales
HOMEWORK. creating mood boards, sketching outfits, and crafting magical garments with enchanted fabrics PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. always keep your workspace neat and clean, and your designs fabulous—Mrs. Fairy Godmother has high standards for both AVOID MISHAPS. never leave unfinished projects unattended—one rogue swish of a wand, and your dress might sprout wings or turn into a pumpkin
BEAST TRAINING & CARE. taught by Professor Poppa Bear
from training fire-breathing dragons to taming mischievous talking mice, this class prepares students for handling all manner of enchanted creatures. with his warm but no-nonsense approach, Professor Poppa Bear teaches students how to communicate with beasts, provide proper magical care, and even ride or befriend some of Ever After’s most fearsome ( or snuggly ) creatures. the class emphasizes the importance of empathy, respect, and responsible stewardship when interacting with enchanted beings
HOMEWORK. taking notes on enchanted creature encounters you have outside of class, studying their habitats, and practicing magical grooming techniques. assignments are much easier for students who have their own mystic beast as a pet PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. be patient, compassionate, and firm—Professor Poppa Bear believes good beast tamers must balance kindness with authority, and he won't hesitate to crack down on students he feels aren't being tolerant and kind with the creatures AVOID MISHAPS. always double-check what you're feeding the creatures—accidentally giving a griffin a fire-breathing potion will not end well
CROWNCULUS. taught by Mrs. Her Majesty, the White Queen
a blend of advanced mathematics and royal economics, this class teaches students how to manage kingdom finances, calculate treasure values, and strategize for economic prosperity. the White Queen ensures that students grasp complex numerical concepts while also understanding the practical application of numbers in ruling a kingdom, proving that math isn’t just about numbers—it’s about power and magic, too
HOMEWORK. solving royal tax equations, balancing enchanted budgets, and calculating castle construction costs PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. always show your work neatly on your notes, respect the logic of numbers, and never bring chaos into her perfectly ordered classroom. loose fairy dust or torn paper is a one-way ticket to getting sent out to the hallway AVOID MISHAPS. never argue that "magic can just fix the math"—that’s a fast track to an exasperated glare and extra equations ( though she'll pretend you were chosen at random for them )
ADVANCED WOOING. taught by Dr. King Charming
whether it’s serenading a princess from a castle tower or sweeping a prince off his feet at a royal ball, this class covers the fine art of courtship. Dr. King Charming, an expert in chivalry and romance, teaches students how to compose love letters, master ballroom etiquette, and perfect the dramatic, wind-blown hair flip. special guest lectures from famed love interests ensure students are well-versed in only the most effective wooing techniques ever after
HOMEWORK. writing needlessly lengthy sonnets, practicing your dramatic entrance, and perfecting grand romantic gestures PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. exude confidence, use flowery language, and always demonstrate princely manners—Dr. Charming believes wooing is an art, and it helps if you act with decorum even outside of tests and assignments AVOID MISHAPS. don’t mix up your love letters—accidentally delivering the wrong one can lead to legendary levels of fairytale drama ( Dr. Charming won't admit how he knows, but he seems suspiciously adamant on it )
COOKING CLASS - IC. taught by Professor Momma Bear
a cozy yet rigorous class where students learn everything from baking enchanted pastries to brewing hearty, storybook-worthy stews. Professor Momma Bear, warm but strict, teaches students the magic of home-cooked meals and how to avoid common culinary disasters—like accidentally putting a sleeping spell in the soup ( more common than you’d think. shocking, i know. ) bonus points for anyone who can craft a meal fit for both a royal banquet and a humble woodland picnic
HOMEWORK. baking enchanted pastries, perfecting porridge temperatures, and learning potion-infused cooking in the communal kitchens—they're open late at night, which is when lots of students do their best work PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. follow the recipe to a T, respect the kitchen space, and always clean up after yourself—Professor Momma Bear runs a strict but cozy classroom, and surfaces need to be crumb-free for that to happen AVOID MISHAPS. never leave the oven unattended—one careless mistake and your muffins might gain sentience ( or explode )
DARK SORCERY. taught by Baba Yaga
for those required to ( or foolish enough to ) dabble in the shadows, this class explores the ancient and forbidden arts of dark magic. Baba Yaga, cryptic and terrifyingly wise, teaches students the ethics of wielding power, the risks of curses and hexes, and how to summon forces beyond mortal comprehension—strictly for academic purposes… of course. students who can keep up with her demanding lessons will most certainly find themselves walking the fine line between greatness and peril, just as intended
HOMEWORK. expect assignments on hexes, shadow magic, and extremely ethically questionable but highly effective spellcasting techniques PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. be respectful, but not a suck up... listen carefully, but don't hang onto her every word... and never waste her time—Baba Yaga is a fickle old witch who does not tolerate foolishness AVOID MISHAPS. don’t touch any of the professor’s personal artifacts—one single misstep, and you might find yourself cursed for a week ( or a lifetime )
WOODSHOP. taught by Mr. Geppetto
in this hands-on class, students learn the craftsmanship of enchanted carpentry, from crafting magical furniture to carving living marionettes ( though talking puppets are strictly optional. ) taught by the legendary woodcarver Geppetto, the course emphasizes precision, patience, and the importance of working with enchanted materials—because nobody wants a table that turns into a frog mid-banquet
HOMEWORK. crafting intricate wooden figures, repairing broken fairytale objects, and designing enchanted furniture to be presented to the class while Geppetto ooh-s and aah-s encouragingly and inspects it from every angle PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. pay attention to detail, measure at least twice before cutting, and never be careless with your tools ( wouldn't wanna lose a finger... or more ) AVOID MISHAPS. never bring anything to life by accident—Mr. Geppetto still has opinions about unexpected animated puppets, most of them aren't as perfect as his
DEBATE. taught by Mrs. Her Majesty, the White Queen
a battle of wits, logic, and eloquence, this class teaches students how to construct compelling arguments, navigate royal negotiations, and win verbal duels with precision. The White Queen is a master of both reason and Wonderlandian riddles, and she ensures her students can debate everything from kingdom policies to whether a dragon’s hoard should be considered taxable income. though, of course, you always have to shake your opponents hand before and after a debate—and sometimes halfway through, too ( “debate is nothing without decorum, dears” the teacher chirps. )
HOMEWORK. researching historical disputes, and crafting persuasive speeches and arguments to perform in class PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. speak clearly, argue with logic, and maintain perfect etiquette—she values reason and refinement above all else. a perfectly crafted argument could be given zero-sum marks if you use foul language while presenting it AVOID MISHAPS. don’t descend into nonsense logic—Mrs. Her Majesty and the subject of debate as a whole has no room for "because I said so" as a defense
GEOGRAFAIRY. taught by Professor Jack B. Nimble
a whirlwind tour that covers every enchanted land, hidden kingdom, and magical realm, this class ensures students can navigate their way through both real and mythical landscapes. Mr. Jack B. Nimble, quick on his feet and sharp in his knowledge, teaches students how to read enchanted maps, locate legendary landmarks, and survive the treacherous terrains of places like the Swamps of Sorrow or the shifting sands of the Ever After Desert
HOMEWORK. memorizing magical trade routes, mapping enchanted forests, and planning efficient royal journeys, especially for high-stakes travel like royal carriages or valuable trade stocks PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. stay sharp, think fast, and always be ready for pop quizzes—Professor Jack moves just as quickly as his name suggests AVOID MISHAPS. don't mistake one enchanted swamp for another—some have quicksand, others have talking alligators, and both will fail you the test
DRAGON SLAYING. taught by Dr. King Charming
an action-packed course for aspiring heroes and knights, this class covers everything from identifying dragon species to the safest techniques for confronting ( or befriending ) them. Dr. King Charming, ever the gallant warrior, teaches battle tactics, shieldwork, and the art of delivering a victorious speech while standing atop a defeated beast. students are encouraged to find creative, non-lethal ways to deal with dragons—because a slayed dragon often makes for a very angry dragon mother ( you don’t wanna deal with one of those )
HOMEWORK. designing battle strategies, practicing swordplay ( safely and with supervision ), and studying legendary dragon encounters PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. be courageous ( he hates students who cower ) and cultivate a healthy respect for dragonkind—Dr. Charming does not tolerate arrogance or killing out of malice AVOID MISHAPS. never mistake a friendly dragon for a feral one—Dr. Charming is not amused by unnecessary heroics or violence without reason
RIDDLING. taught by Professor Sphinx
a brain-twisting class that challenges students to master the art of riddles, trick questions, and mind-bending wordplay. Professor Sphinx, with her cryptic wisdom and smug amusement, pushes students to think in loops, uncover hidden meanings, and craft riddles so clever that they impress even her. only those with quick wits and sharper tongues will excel. there’s a silent booth tucked into the back of class where students can take solace in five minute time-outs if they get a riddle-induced brain-ache
HOMEWORK. solving some of the most famous and ancient riddles from fairytale history, crafting the trickiest trick questions, and debating paradoxes ( there has to be some end ) ( spoiler alert: there isn't ) PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. think outside the box and embrace the art of wordplay, she appreciates students who attempt to match her riddlish intellect ( though they never fully can. ) never give an obvious answer—she doesn't tolerate laziness AVOID MISHAPS. don't answer a riddle too quickly—Professor Sphinx loves watching students squirm in confusion, she'll snap if you think one is "too easy"
POISON FRUIT THEORY. taught by Mr. Henchman
a darkly fascinating course that delves into the study of enchanted produce, venomous flora, and the alchemy of cursed concoctions. Mr. Henchman, an expert in apple-related treachery from first-hand witnessing, ( and doing most of the dirty work himself shhhh ) teaches students how to identify, craft, and counteract, certain poisons—purely for academic purposes… of course. only the most careful and exceedingly precise students avoid an accidental nap at some point
HOMEWORK. identifying toxic ingredients, testing non-lethal potions, and studying famous fairytale poisonings—students are absolutely not permitted to handle lethal poisons outside of class time, no matter how funny Mr. Henchman thinks it would be PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. be cunning, precise, and always ask about antidotes—surprisingly enough Mr. Henchman values ambition and intelligence over blind villainy AVOID MISHAPS. this should go without saying, but don’t ever eat anything from the classroom—regardless of whether it’s an extra-credit challenge or a standard study subject, it’s all dangerous
HISTORY OF TALL TALES. taught by Professor Paul Bunyan
a larger-than-life class where students study the greatest exaggerations in folklore, from beanstalk-climbing farm boys to men who lasso tornadoes. Professor Paul Bunyan, with his booming voice and legendary stature, teaches the importance of hyperbole, embellishment, and how a good story can shape the world. except storytelling assignments where size does matter, and extra credit for every surreptitious golden object you can cram into your tale
HOMEWORK. exaggerating your own legendary feats into tall tales, researching folklore heroes, and reenacting famous larger-than-life moments PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. show enthusiasm for exaggerated storytelling and never question the truth of a tall tale—Professor Bunyan appreciates a good yarn, says puzzling into it "takes away the fun" AVOID MISHAPS. don’t get caught underestimating the size of the stories—or of Professor Bunyan’s pet blue ox, Babe
DIPLOMACY 101. taught by Mrs. Fairy Godmother
an essential course for future rulers, ambassadors, and anyone hoping to survive royal politics, this class covers the art of negotiation, conflict resolution, and fairy-tale-level etiquette. Mrs. Fairy Godmother, an expert in wish-granting diplomacy, ensures that students can turn any total pumpkin of a situation into a golden carriage of opportunity—preferably before midnight
HOMEWORK. drafting peace treaties, mediating minor disputes between friends or classmates, and practicing polite yet firm negotiation techniques PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. mind your manners, choose your words wisely, and never raise your voice—Mrs. Fairy Godmother believes in charm over conflict, and that manners always win AVOID MISHAPS. try not to use magic to solve conflicts too quickly—diplomacy requires finesse and effort, not a bibbidi-bobbidi-bandaid
CASTLE DESIGN. taught by the Three Little Pigs
a structural and aesthetic architecture class that teaches students how to design the perfect castle, from grand ballrooms to impenetrable fortresses, and everything else a benevolent ruler ( or evil sorcerer ) could need from their abode. the Three Little Pigs, having learned their lesson more than once after their own architectural mishaps, are now experts at crafting with only the pinnacle of quality materials, and they guide students through the balance of beauty and functionality, ensuring that no tower is too tall and every drawbridge is both sturdy and stylish
HOMEWORK. drafting blueprints, constructing model castles, and ensuring defenses against huffing and puffing in your structures PLEASE THE PROFESSORS. always prioritize structural integrity in your projects—they still have very, very strong opinions about weak materials AVOID MISHAPS. never, ever suggest using straw or sticks unless you want a three-pig class-long lecture on the merits of proper fortification
BEWITCHING SONG. taught by Ms. Aquata of Atlantis
a mesmerizing music class where students learn the magic of vocal enchantment, from siren songs that lure sailors to sleep, all the way to battle hymns that rally armies. Ms. Aquata, hailing from the royal family of Atlantis with her haunting voice and knowledge of forbidden harmonies, trains students in the delicate balance of melody and power—reminding them that some songs come at a price
HOMEWORK. composing enchantments through song, practicing vocal spells, and analyzing the most famous fairytale musical enchantments ( of course, the teacher is partial to songs from the tale of the Little Mermaid, though she pretends she doesn't have favorites ) PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. stay in tune and on key, embrace the magical melodies, and never mock merfolk music—Ms. Aquata takes her siren songs very seriously, even if they sound like dolphin noises to the untrained ear AVOID MISHAPS. avoid singing the wrong notes—one slip, and you might accidentally charm your classmates into an impromptu dance number ( music magic can be... fickle )
ANGER MAGICMENT. taught by Mr. Badwolf
a course designed for students with fiery tempers and villainous bloodlines, this class focuses on channeling rage productively instead of, say, blowing houses down. Mr. Badwolf ( you know… the Big Bad Wolf ) with his own history of temper issues, teaches students techniques in deep breathing, mindfulness, and how to redirect fury into something slightly less destructive—like competitive sports instead of rampaging through villages
HOMEWORK. journaling your emotional responses on the day-to-day, practicing breathing exercises, and resolving conflict without growling PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. keep your temper in check, use calming techniques, and don’t provoke classmates—Mr. Badwolf knows firsthand how bad anger issues can get, he has no tolerance for trying to set off others AVOID MISHAPS. never howl in frustration—it sets off an automatic... pack response from Mr. Badwolf, leaving him embarrassed and you in detention
EXPERIMENTAL FAIRY MATH. taught by Dr. Sandman
a mind-boggling fusion of numbers, magic, and dream logic, this class teaches students how to manipulate enchanted equations, calculate impossible probabilities, and solve numerical riddles that make reality bend. Dr. Sandman, a master of both dreamscapes and abstract concepts, guides students through numerical paradoxes and whimsical calculations that only make sense if you never think about them too hard
HOMEWORK. solving numerical paradoxes, creating reality-warping equations, and exploring mathematical dreamscapes—make sure you can get back to your dorm when you're done studying, though PLEASE THE PROFESSOR. keep an open mind, embrace dreamy logic, and don’t expect normal numbers—Dr. Sandman sees math through a magical lens, try to see things from his point of view AVOID MISHAPS. never fall asleep mid-equation—you might wake up inside a calculated alternate reality

Hello I just got a funny idea involving Jing Yuan, the reader, and Yanqing. Basically the reader is giving Jing Yuan a massage and Yanqing, who's outside the room, thinks something scandalous is going on
The "Scandalous" Massage
Summary: When you offer to give Jing Yuan a relaxing massage, you don’t expect any interruptions—until Yanqing overhears and misinterprets the situation. Convinced that something scandalous is going on behind the closed door, Yanqing gathers a small group of knights to investigate, only to walk into an awkward misunderstanding. Meanwhile, Jing Yuan enjoys the peaceful moment, amused by Yanqing's overactive imagination.

It was a quiet afternoon in the heart of the Xianzhou Luofu, the dim sunlight streaming through the large windows of the General's office. Jing Yuan sat comfortably at his desk, his eyes narrowed as he reviewed a stack of reports. The usual tranquil hum of the Divine Foresight was interrupted by the occasional sigh from him, his posture slightly slouched in a manner that gave him the impression of someone who had little care in the world—except for the heavy responsibilities of his position.
You had been asked by the Commander to check on Jing Yuan's well-being. His fatigue was beginning to show, and though he preferred to work through it, you could see the toll it was taking on him. When you suggested a simple massage to ease his tired muscles, he had hesitated but eventually agreed. He trusted you, after all, and his body had been demanding the respite for days.
Now, you found yourself standing behind him, your hands gently pressing into his shoulders as you worked to relieve the tension. His long hair cascaded down his back, and the faint scent of ink and parchment mixed with the lingering fragrance of his cologne. He leaned back slightly, relaxing into your touch, and for a moment, there was no war, no strategy, no obligations—just the warmth of your hands and the calm that seemed to fall over both of you.
"You really are good at this," Jing Yuan murmured, his voice a soft baritone. "You should consider offering this as a service to the Cloud Knights."
You chuckled, easing the pressure in your fingers to work on his neck. "Well, I might have a few other talents up my sleeve, but I don't think the knights are ready for this level of care."
A contented sigh escaped his lips as his eyes fluttered closed. The atmosphere was peaceful, calm, and completely unremarkable to you. But unbeknownst to the two of you, outside the room, a very different picture was unfolding.
Yanqing, ever the vigilant (and somewhat nosy) young Cloud Knight, had been on his way to deliver a report to his superior. But upon passing Jing Yuan’s quarters, he had noticed something unusual—something that made him pause.
From the hallway, through the slightly ajar door, he caught a glimpse of you behind Jing Yuan. His heart skipped a beat. There was a faint sound of... soft murmurs and the unmistakable sound of someone sighing in pleasure. His eyes widened in disbelief.
At first, he couldn’t quite believe it. But then he heard you speak, your voice low and gentle, and Jing Yuan responded with a contented sigh.
"Oh no…" Yanqing muttered under his breath, his face turning crimson as his mind immediately ran wild with all the worst possible conclusions. His eyes darted to the doorframe, and his hand hovered over the handle, torn between curiosity and his rapidly growing embarrassment. What was going on in there?
He quickly decided he needed backup, rushing to find a few of the other knights. A few moments later, he had gathered a small group, whispering conspiratorially in the hallway about what they had just overheard. One by one, the knights expressed their shock and disbelief at the thought of the Dozing General—a man known for his wisdom and calm demeanor—engaging in... whatever this was.
The rumors spread like wildfire, and before long, the tension outside Jing Yuan's quarters was palpable. But inside, things remained blissfully unaware of the spectacle being created.
Back inside, you were finishing up the massage, your hands gently kneading the last of the tension from Jing Yuan’s shoulders. You could feel him nearly dozing off, his breathing slow and steady.
"You’re nearly done," you said softly, a hint of amusement in your voice. "Just a few more minutes."
"Mm, no rush." He leaned back a little more, his body relaxing into your touch. "This is nice... feels almost like a dream."
"Good," you whispered, your hands moving down to his lower back. "You deserve the rest, Jing Yuan. You've been pushing yourself too hard lately."
Before he could respond, there was a soft knock on the door. It was faint, but it was enough to make both of you freeze. You exchanged a look, your hands pausing in mid-motion.
"Come in," Jing Yuan called without turning around, his voice still calm and collected. But there was an unmistakable note of amusement hidden beneath his tone.
The door creaked open, and in stepped Yanqing, his eyes wide and his cheeks flushed. He immediately stood stiff, as if unsure whether to speak or simply retreat. The awkward tension in the air was thick, and for a moment, neither you nor Jing Yuan said anything.
"Y-Your Excellency," Yanqing stammered, his voice laced with uncertainty. "I, uh, I have... a report. I didn’t mean to interrupt."
You turned to give him a polite smile. "Not at all. You’re not interrupting." But you couldn't help but notice the way Yanqing was avoiding looking directly at you, his gaze flicking nervously between you and Jing Yuan.
Jing Yuan, for his part, raised an eyebrow, clearly sensing the strange atmosphere. "Is something wrong, Yanqing? You seem... flustered."
Yanqing opened his mouth, closed it, and then looked back to you again, as if unsure what to say. "I... I just thought I heard... well, I thought something... unusual was happening in here."
You blinked in confusion, but before you could ask further, Jing Yuan’s lips quirked into an almost knowing smile. His eyes gleamed with amusement.
"Ah," he said, leaning back further into his chair, "I see what this is about."
Yanqing turned even redder, his eyes darting to the floor, clearly mortified. "W-Well... it's just that... you both seemed to be... um... so relaxed and... intimate. I didn't know—"
A soft laugh escaped from Jing Yuan’s lips. "Oh, no, Yanqing. Nothing like that, I assure you. Your general just needed a little rest. [Name] was just helping me with some muscle tension. That’s all."
Yanqing's face turned even redder, his body now stiff with embarrassment. "Oh... oh no..." he muttered, quickly retreating to the door. "I-I’m so sorry! I’ll just... go, then. I’ll go now!"
You let out a soft laugh, watching as Yanqing scrambled out of the room, muttering apologies. Jing Yuan shook his head, still smiling to himself.
"Poor Yanqing," you said with a chuckle. "Seems like he misunderstood."
"He tends to jump to conclusions," Jing Yuan replied, a playful glint in his eyes. "But don’t worry, he’ll have a very interesting story to tell the knights later."
You smiled, shaking your head in amusement. "It’s just a massage. Nothing more."
Jing Yuan leaned back with a content sigh, his expression relaxing once more. "Of course. But it was a much-needed one. Thank you, [Name]. I think I’ll be able to handle the rest of the day now."
"Anytime," you said with a smile. "I’ll make sure to keep Yanqing away next time, though."
Jing Yuan chuckled softly, clearly enjoying the idea. "I wouldn’t worry about him too much. He’ll learn to keep his mind focused on the right things."
And with that, the two of you returned to your quiet, calm atmosphere, the misunderstandings of the outside world far removed from the peaceful moment you shared.

All About Glamour Magick

Glamour magick is the art of illusion, enchantment, and transformation. It is a form of witchcraft that influences perception, helping you shape how others see you—and how you see yourself. Often associated with beauty spells, glamour magick extends far beyond physical appearance, touching on charisma, confidence, energy projection, and personal empowerment.
What is Glamour Magick?
Glamour magick is the ability to create an aura, illusion, or energy field around yourself to influence perception. This can be subtle (radiating confidence, appearing more attractive) or dramatic (completely shifting how you are perceived in a space).
Key Aspects of Glamour Magick:
• Illusion & Perception – Shaping how others see you.
• Energy Manipulation – Projecting an aura of beauty, mystery, or confidence.
• Psychological Influence – Aligning your actions and appearance with desired outcomes.
• Inner Alchemy – Changing your self-perception and unlocking hidden power.
Glamour magick is not deception—it is a tool of empowerment, allowing you to embody different versions of yourself as needed.
Uses & Applications of Glamour Magick
⭑ Personal Power & Confidence
• Make yourself appear more confident, charismatic, or authoritative in important situations (interviews, speeches, negotiations).
• Command attention when entering a room.
• Enhance self-love by seeing yourself in a new light.

⭑ Beauty & Attraction Spells
• Enhance your natural charm and allure.
• Strengthen magnetic presence, making others drawn to you.
• Boost your radiance and personal style.
⭑ Influence & Social Perception
• Be seen as trustworthy, mysterious, or irresistible depending on the desired effect.
• Appear invisible or unnoticed when needed (useful for avoiding unwanted attention).
• Shift your perceived energy (e.g., appearing powerful in a leadership role, approachable in social settings).
⭑ Spiritual Transformation
• Align with goddesses or deities associated with beauty, wisdom, or seduction (Aphrodite, Freyja, Hekate).
• Use glamour magick for shadow work, integrating hidden parts of yourself.
• Enhance dreamwork and astral projection by shifting your astral form’s appearance.
Methods of Practicing Glamour Magick
Glamour magick can be performed through visualization, ritual, enchanted cosmetics, clothing, perfumes, and energy work.
⭑ Visualization & Energy Work
One of the simplest forms of glamour magick is projecting an aura through visualization.
Example: Confidence Aura Spell
• Close your eyes and breathe deeply.
• Visualize a glowing golden or red aura surrounding you.
• Imagine this energy making you radiate power, beauty, and confidence.
• As you step into a room, picture people noticing and respecting your presence.
⭑ Enchanted Beauty & Self-Care Rituals
Makeup, skincare, and beauty routines can be ritualized and infused with magick.

Ways to Enchant Your Routine:
• Lipstick or Lip Balm Charm: Before applying, whisper:
“With each word I speak, my voice is heard. My words captivate and command.”
• Mirror Enchantment: As you gaze at your reflection, say:
“I see myself as divine, radiant, and powerful.”
• Perfume or Cologne Spell: Anoint yourself with intention: Rose for love, jasmine for sensuality, lavender for peace, cinnamon for attraction and boldness, etc.
⭑ Glamour Through Clothing & Colors
Fashion is a powerful tool in glamour magick. The colors, textures, and styles you wear influence energy and perception.
Color Correspondences in Glamour Magick:
• Red – Power, confidence, passion, boldness.
• Black – Mystery, protection, authority.
• White – Purity, elegance, divine energy.
• Pink – Soft attraction, friendship, charm.
• Green – Wealth, prosperity, health.
• Blue – Calm, wisdom, trustworthiness.
Example: Enchanted Clothing Ritual
• Hold the clothing item and infuse it with intention (e.g., a red dress for power, a black cloak for invisibility).
• Say:
“As I wear this, I become the energy I invoke. I walk with power, I shine with radiance.”
⭑ The Art of Presence & Body Language
Your posture, eye contact, and movement influence how people perceive you.
• Stand tall and move with purpose.
• Maintain eye contact to assert confidence.
• Slow, intentional movements exude mystery and grace.
• A well-timed smile can captivate and disarm.
Glamour Magick Exercise:
• Imagine a golden thread pulling your spine upright, making you appear poised.
• Envision a soft glow around your face that makes you radiant.

Glamour Magick Spells & Rituals
⭑ Magnetic Attraction Spell
To draw attention and admiration.
Needed:
• A red or pink candle
• Rose or jasmine essential oil
• A small mirror
Instructions:
Carve your name into the candle. Anoint it with essential oil while saying:
“As this flame burns, so does my allure. Eyes turn, hearts stir, my presence is known.”
Light the candle and stare into the mirror. Envision your aura glowing and expanding, making you irresistible. Let the candle burn down. Carry the mirror with you for continued effect.
⭑ Invisibility Spell
To avoid unwanted attention.
Needed:
• A black candle
• A smoky quartz or obsidian crystal
• A small black cloth
Instructions:
Light the black candle and hold the crystal. Whisper:
“Shadow cloak, silence veil, unseen I move, unheard I sail.”
Visualize your aura dimming, blending into the background. Wrap the crystal in the black cloth and carry it for continued effect.
Glamour magick is a form of self-empowerment, transformation, and energy work. Whether through enchanted beauty rituals, confidence spells, or aura manipulation, this practice allows you to embrace your divine presence and radiate power.

all the references in dr. ratio’s character that i could find.
if i missed something, or got something wrong, yell at me in the comments. there are a few other analysis on my page, if you wanna check them out :3 hope u enjoy!!
“ratio” can be traced back to the ancient greek logos. early translators rendered this into Latin as ratio (“reason;” as in the word "rational"). a more modern interpretation of Euclid's meaning is more akin to computation or reckoning.
in Latin, ratio has several meanings, including "reason, ration, calculation," etc
in Roman mythology, Veritas, meaning "truth," is the Goddess of Truth.
there's a lot of owl symbols on ratio, and owls symbolize wisdom, mystery, intelligence and protection.
there's a lot of greek symbolism, esp in his outfit and the way the fabric is tied and the laurel leaves in his hair (in Ancient Rome, it was worn on the head as a symbol of triumph) and the owl motif, the symbol of Athena goddess of wisdom.
dr. ratio's plaster head besides being an obvious reference to ancient greek's herma (symbol of protection, warding off unwanted intrusion or evil spirits), but it is also a reference to, euler, who famously went blind towards the end of his life. his productivity only increased after his blindness, and he was reported to having said, "now I will have fewer distractions," after going blind in both eyes.
dr ratio's eidolons are all based off multiple philosophical concepts and proverbs;
eidolon one: "pride comes before fall" comes from the 'book of proverbs' in the bible.
eidolon two: "the divine is in the detail" explores the relationships in aisha khalid (a visual artist)'s work amongst geometry and precision with respect to the spiritual. the exhibition title is a play on the commonly heard phrase ‘the devil is in the detail’, in other words, the difficulties or problematics of specificity.
eidolon three: "know thyself" is a philosophical maxim which was inscribed upon the Temple of Apollo in the ancient Greek precinct of Delphi. initially, it meant "know your limits," then it was re-interpreted by Plato who understood it to mean "know your soul." then it was re-interpreted again by christian, jewish and muslim scholars used "know thyself" as a command to study the physical properties of the human body.
eidolon four: "ignorance is blight." i couldn't find much for it, but ignorance (lack of knowledge) is blight (a thing that spoils or damages something), which could be the opposite of a quote by poet Thomas Gray "ignorance is bliss."
eidolon five: "sic itur ad astra" literally means 'thus, one goes to the stars'. the phrase is most famously attributed to the Roman poet Virgil in the Aeneid. the phrase can be interpreted as a motivational statement. it suggests that greatness and high achievements are attainable if one follows the right path or method. it also implies that the journey to greatness involves effort and perseverance. it's not just about the destination (the stars) but also about the path one takes to get there.
eidolon six: "vincit omnia veritas" means "truth conquers all things." similar to the Latin phrase "amor vincit omnia," meaning "love conquers all things." this phrase emphasizes the idea that truth is powerful and ultimately prevails over falsehood or deceit.
combat skills:
"mind is might:" the idea behind this phrase is that through the power of the mind, individuals can solve complex problems, innovate, lead effectively, and make decisions that have far-reaching positive impacts. it underscores the value of mental prowess in various aspects of life, from personal development to societal progress.
"intellectual midwifery:" intellectual midwifery is a metaphorical concept that describes the role of a person or a process in helping someone else develop their ideas and thoughts. it's like how a midwife helps in childbirth by supporting and assisting, but instead of a baby, it's about helping ideas or intellectual creations come into being. this can involve guiding someone through the process of thinking critically, asking questions, and providing support so they can articulate and develop their ideas effectively.
"syllogistic paradox" is a situation where a series of logical steps leads to a conclusion that seems contradictory or unexpected. in simple terms, it's like following a set of rules or ideas that seem logical individually, but when put together, they create confusion or a surprising result. these paradoxes often highlight flaws in reasoning or assumptions that we might not initially notice.
"cogito, ergo sum" is a Latin phrase that means "i think, therefore i am." it was famously stated by the philosopher René Descartes. it expresses the idea that the act of thinking proves that a person exists. Descartes used this statement to assert that even if everything else could be doubted or uncertain, the fact that he was thinking was undeniable proof of his own existence as a thinking being.
"mold of idolatry" refers to the different shapes and forms that idol worship or excessive devotion can take. it includes worshiping statues or images as gods, being overly focused on material possessions, or putting anything above the rightful place of worshiping the true divine or ultimate reality. essentially, it describes the various ways people might stray from focusing on what truly matters spiritually.

Can I please get yandere Aglaea x reader? I didn't seen a single one :(
Yandere!Aglaea x Reader

Contains information different from the game!
Aglaea was once mortal, a queen of unparalleled beauty and wisdom, adored by her people. The gods, envious of her radiance, cursed her with eternal life and blindness, a cruel fate for one meant to rule. Yet, she was not left powerless. The gods gifted her golden silk, threads that wove through reality itself, allowing her to see the world through a tapestry of fate. Through these divine threads, she could perceive every movement, every breath, every whisper of destiny itself.
For centuries, she reigned alone. Everyone she loved withered, but she remained. Her people worshiped her, but none could truly stand beside her. Her golden threads revealed every outcome, every betrayal, every death before they could happen. She knew everything. That is, until you arrived.
When your ship crash-landed on her planet, Aglaea could not see you.
Not because of her blindness, her golden threads let her see far beyond sight, but because you were untouched by fate itself. You existed outside her threads, beyond her divine perception. A mystery. A thrill she had never known before.
You were unlike the mortals who knelt before her, unlike the courtiers who recited pretty words but held no secrets from her. No matter how many golden threads she wove around you, they simply slipped through your form, refusing to entangle you in the destiny she commanded.
For the first time in centuries, Aglaea felt something new.
Uncertainty.
Longing.
Fear.
If she could not see your fate, what if you disappeared? What if she never saw you again?
She could not allow that.
At first, Aglaea treated you as a guest of honor, housing you in a palace made of marble and celestial gold. She listened to you, memorized the rhythm of your voice, the way your hands moved when you spoke, the way your heart raced when you felt excitement or even fear. She did not need eyes to see you, her golden threads traced every inch of your presence.
She wove silk into the clothes she gave you, embroidered delicate patterns into your sheets, left golden threads along the halls of the palace so that wherever you walked, she could feel you.
And slowly, ever so gently, she wove her way into your life.
She learned your preferences, what foods made your lips curl into a smile, what melodies soothed you, what stories from your distant world fascinated you. She made you comfortable. Loved. She showed you a paradise where she was your protector, your companion, your most devoted admirer.
But every time you spoke of leaving
Every time you looked up at the sky with longing
Every time you dreamed of returning to your old life
Her hands would tighten around the golden threads.
“Why would you ever want to leave?” she asked one evening, her voice as soft as the silks draped around her. “Have I not given you everything?”
When you hesitated, searching for an answer, she only smiled. And you swore the golden threads in the walls shuddered, shifting closer.
One night, you woke up in your chambers, feeling a strange sensation crawling up your arms. You gasped, but your body refused to move as golden silk wrapped around your limbs, winding over your skin like liquid fire.
“You run from me even in your dreams” she murmured, voice filled with aching sorrow. “But you are mine. You were always meant to be mine.”
You struggled, but the silk only tightened, sinking into your veins like molten gold. Your heartbeat slowed. Your breathing softened. Your body felt strange. Heavier.
And then, for the first time since you arrived, Aglaea looked at you.
Not with mortal eyes, but with golden threads wrapped around her fingertips, now woven through you.
“Now” she whispered, a shiver of relief in her voice “I can see you.”
Your body was no longer your own. The golden silk flowed through you, binding your soul to her sight, her touch, her will. You were woven into her fate, no longer an anomaly, no longer beyond her reach.
You could still move. You could still breathe. But no matter where you went, Aglaea would always feel you.
She no longer needed to wonder where you were, if you would leave, if you would disappear. She knew. And she was content.
The golden threads pulsed beneath your skin, warm like the embrace of the sun. They no longer bound you in resistance, instead, they became a part of you, threading through your veins, whispering Aglaea’s presence in every breath, every heartbeat.
And for the first time, you understood.
She had never meant to imprison you. No, she had only longed for you. Needed you. Loved you in a way that transcended time itself. And how could you fault her? When you had seen the ache in her eyes, the way her fingers trembled when she traced the shape of your face, the way her voice wavered when she feared you might leave her behind. How could you deny someone who had given you everything?
So, you surrendered.
The resistance in your body faded, limbs relaxing against the silken embrace of her threads. The golden silk no longer held you captive, it caressed you, moving with you instead of against you. It welcomed you, as if the very fabric of her world had been waiting for your acceptance.
Aglaea must have felt the shift.
A breathless sound escaped her lips, somewhere between a sigh of relief and a sob of joy. She reached for you then, blind yet unerring, fingertips ghosting over your cheeks, your lips, your throat.
“You’re mine now” she whispered, wonder in her voice, her golden silk tightening not in restraint, but in devotion. “Completely, utterly mine.”
And as she pressed a tender kiss against your forehead, the golden threads shivered in delight, binding you deeper, weaving you further into the tapestry of her love.
Time ceased to matter. The universe outside her palace became a distant, forgotten thing. You no longer longed for the stars, nor for the freedom you once thought you desired.
You were here, wrapped in the arms of a goddess who saw only you, who lived for you, who would worship you until the end of time itself.
Each day, she touched you with reverence, memorizing you anew with fingers that traced constellations over your skin. Each night, she held you close, pressing soft words into your ear, speaking of eternities woven together, of devotion deeper than the heavens.
She saw you through her golden silk, felt you in the very air she breathed. You were her world.
And as you lay in her arms, warm and safe beneath the golden glow of fate itself, you realized… She was yours, too.

voilà, the posy kids 😌
EDIT: rearranged from oldest to youngest (out of those I'm writing for). Some pictures have been edited, replaced, and some names have also been changed.
in order from left to right:
Axiandros (Αξιανδρος) - Meaning: “Worthy man” or “Man of value and wisdom.” Breakdown: From axios (worthy) and andros (man). named after Anthonius Chase
Kymon (Κύμων) - Meaning: “Wave rider” or “one who commands the waves.” Derived from kyma (κύμα), meaning “wave."
Thalassandros (Θαλάσσανδρος) - Meaning: “Man of the sea” or “sea conqueror.” A combination of thalassa meaning "sea" and andros meaning "man"

Ariel - Hebrew for "lion of god"
Cthulhu - likely a reference to the word chthonic, which is an Ancient Greek word meaning “of the earth
Anaklusmos (Ανακλυσμός) -Meaning: "riptide". Named after Percy's sword lol

Aetherios (Ἀθηρίος) - Meaning: "From the upper sea" or "Heavenly waters". From aether (upper air or heaven), this name suggests someone who is a figure of the ethereal sea or sky, transcending earthly bounds and perhaps having a divine or celestial nature.
Megarion (Μεγαρίων) – “Little one of great power” (megas = great, ion = diminutive suffix). IN PERCY’S DEFENSE, SHE DID NOT KNOW HE WOULD GROW THAT BIG 💀
Keteon (Κητεών) - Meaning: "Of the sea monsters" or "guardian of the deep." Inspired by ketea (κῆτεα), the mythical sea creatures of Greek lore.

Pontoleon (Ποντολέων) - Meaning: "Lion of the sea" or "brave as the ocean." From pontos (πόντος), meaning "sea," and leon (λέων), meaning "lion."
Eudorios (Εὐδόριος) – “Gifted with kindness” (eu = good, doron = gift); Nickname: Dory 😭 yes percy picked this name solely so she could call her youngest child fucking DORY 😭😭😭

Deity! 141 AU HCs
A/N: Just some ramblings about the 141 as deities in my poly AU
(18+ only)
Please comment and reblog!
Captain John Price
God of the East Woods, who is represented by winter. He is known for his leadership skills, analytical abilities, and good faith in his men.
As he is known for leadership skills, he is known as the god most worshiped by leaders who seek guidance in their ability to command others. He is also known for being the one sought out by outcasts who are looking for community. He’ll help you find your way, don’t you worry. You belong somewhere; we just have to find where.
Contrary to popular belief, John does not participate in assisting those who force their command over others. He believes in leading by example and earning the privilege of leadership.
He is most closely associated with cold metal, with his altar decorated in winter wreaths, warm spices, and delicate metalwork.
Kyle Garrick
God of the North Woods, represented by Spring and water. He is courageous, knowledgeable in the social and environmental climate, and can foresee the cause and effects of many actions on the battlefield.
He is worshiped by those beginning new endeavors. As the youngest and newest god (which, how new can ancient beings really be?), myths range from his grand displays of courage to self-doubt. His stories paint imagery of humbleness and of an eager learner. To those seeking new starts, he is the perfect divine being to guide you to ask questions and be courageous in the midst of change.
Kyle, while known best for being the god of changes, is also the patron of mystics for his foreseeing abilities (and beauticians. He likes his skincare and pretty things). As the foreseeing one, he knows all the outcomes and can assist divination practitioners in seeking knowledge of the future.
Just because Kyle can help doesn’t mean he will. Many fortune-tellers have reported trickery and confusion trying to get answers from him. He likes his jokes and finds seeing humans guessing about the future amusing. Won’t they find out eventually?
His altar is decorated with bowls of water representing spring rain and winds. As spring flowers bloom, they are also decorated upon his altar. The seed of each planted crop is represented on the altar as a blessing for a productive sowing season.
Johnny McTavish
The god of summer and of the southlands. McTavish is known for quick, fiery actions mirrored by a thunderstorm's quick turn or a wildfire's spark.
While he might have fiery emotions, the god is methodological in his delivery of quick actions. For this reason, if you need help finding passion, McTavish is the god for you. He is the patron of athletes and artisans who harness passion into practice and dedication to their craft.
The god of summer is precise! If you seek his help, be specific and think about what you need versus what you want. His help will come on his timing, but it’ll be exactly what you asked for. He finds it funny when mortals get upset by this. Usually, if he is going to be helpful to the mortals, it is on his terms and conditions, and you’ll know by a sudden splash of warmth on your skin or by the way events just so happen to align that it could only be the work of a god.
His altar is decorated with an always-lit candle. There are summer fruits in bowls and an icon of a thunderbolt descending from the sky to represent his passions.
The one they call “Ghost”
The god of the south and autumn season, mortals know the least about him. His mythology is sparse, usually featuring him as a supporting character in someone else’s myth (usually Johnny’s) with a dry sense of humor.
He is the god of the ground that is transitioning into hibernation, the god of intelligence, knowing when to take ground and when to give ground. He is the wisdom gained from remembering the bones and dust from whence you came. He is the patron of the elderly and wise, of those who understand the power of listening before speaking to the aged ideals that came before you.
Hidden by shadows of the unknown, protected by the bones of the dying, Ghost is not a death god, but he represents the bridge between mortals and the spiritual, helping those who are dying.
Ghost is not a god you call upon lightly. He will make you search your shadows, forcing you to gaze upon those fearsome things that hide in all mortal souls. If you ask to see the divine, he will show you it when you are ready. But it will not look pretty or neat or holy. It will be sacred in its raw, awesome terror, a power unleashed that mortals cannot grasp.
Ghost’s alter typically has a buck skull on it- the first buck killed of the season. Black and grey altar cloths are laid beneath the walnut bowls holding the nuts and acorns offered to the god.
Once upon a time, there were four gods. Together, they took turns helping the mortals. But what spirit connects them all, centering their efforts? Of what clear mission banner do they unite under? To whom is the focal point of life’s great mysteries? It had always been assumed human mortals as a collective to be that focal point. But the myths do not end with the death of the old. They continue and will grow with the next generations and generations next.

Explain the basic: how to work with deities.
Desclaimer: Everything I will talk about is information that I got from books and sites online and even videos on YouTube. In my years of practice, I learned as much as I could out of curiosity and what works best for me. I suggest you do the same by learning as much as you can on your own (I will be here making posts teaching this kind of stuff) from multiple sources.
Working with deities in witchcraft is a deeply personal and spiritual practice, often based on the traditions of Paganism, Wicca, or eclectic witchcraft. The approach can vary widely depending on the deity, the practitioner’s beliefs, and the cultural or spiritual framework they follow.

There are many ways to understand if you’re being called by a deity or if that deity is available to work with you. Over the course of my journey as a witch, I’ve created some questions to help me recognize when a deity might be by my side:
Have I dreamed about this deity? You might dream about a deity, often through symbols or representations, such as animals or other forms connected to their essence.
Have I noticed symbols associated with this deity? Seeing recurring symbolism tied to the deity could be a sign.
Do I frequently encounter angel numbers? Repeated sequences of numbers might indicate divine communication.
Is the candlelight flickering more than usual? Unusual behavior in candle flames can be a subtle sign.
Do I smell something that isn’t physically present? For example, you might suddenly smell fresh oranges in your room, even though there’s no source for that scent.
These aren’t the only ways to recognize if a deity is truly with you or calling you. Sometimes, you’ll simply know. The questions I’ve shared are based on my personal experiences, and I’ve included them here because they might help. However, they’re not mandatory for working with a deity—they’re just a guide to assist you on your journey.

Here’s a general guide on how to work with them:
1. Research and Understand the Deity
Before attempting to work with any deity, it's important to understand their history, mythology, personality, and attributes. Deities come from a variety of pantheons—Greek, Roman, Norse, Celtic, Egyptian, Hindu, and others—each with their own unique qualities and domains. Research their sacred symbols, stories, traditional offerings, and rituals.
Pantheon: Decide whether you're drawn to a specific pantheon (e.g., Greek, Norse, Egyptian). Some practitioners work with deities from multiple pantheons, but others feel it’s important to focus on one tradition.
Attributes: Know what each deity is associated with. For example, Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love and beauty, while Hecate is a goddess associated with magic, the moon, and the underworld.
2. Establish a Relationship
Working with deities is less about commanding them and more about developing a respectful relationship. Like human relationships, this often takes time, intention, and understanding.
Respect and Intent: Approach them with reverence, rather than demands. Ask for guidance, wisdom, or energy, but be respectful of their time and presence.
Meditation and Invocation: A common way to start is through meditation, where you quietly call upon the deity, focusing on their energy and essence. Invocation rituals, where the deity is formally called into your sacred space, are also widely used.
Dreamwork and Signs: You can ask the deity for signs in your dreams or waking life. This could come in the form of symbols, animals, or even strong feelings or ideas that seem to arise from nowhere.
3. Create a Sacred Space
A dedicated altar or space for your deity is a good way to establish a connection. This can be as simple or elaborate as you wish, but it should feel sacred to you and aligned with the deity’s energy.
Altar: Place items associated with the deity on the altar, such as candles, statues, crystals, or symbols that represent them. For example, if you work with Athena, you might place an owl figurine (a symbol of wisdom) or a spear (a symbol of war and strategy) on the altar.
Offerings: Regular offerings are a sign of respect and devotion. These can include food, flowers, herbs, incense, or wine. Choose offerings that align with the deity’s preferences—Dionysus might appreciate wine, while Demeter could be honored with grains or bread.
4. Rituals and Prayers
Rituals and prayers are a key part of working with deities in witchcraft. These can range from simple daily prayers to more elaborate ceremonial rituals.
Daily Devotions: Some practitioners recite prayers, light candles, or offer simple gestures like lighting incense in honor of their chosen deity. This helps keep the connection alive.
Full Moon or Sabbats: Special rituals can be conducted during significant times, such as the full moon (Esbats) or during one of the seasonal Sabbats (e.g., Samhain, Beltane) that align with the deity’s domain or energy.
5. Ask for Guidance or Assistance
Once you’ve developed a relationship, you can ask the deity for guidance, blessings, protection, or specific outcomes. Remember, though, that deities are not forces to control—they are powerful entities with their own wills.
Petitioning the Deity: Clearly state your request and what you hope for in your ritual. It’s often helpful to frame the request in terms of "please guide me" or "assist me with wisdom" rather than demanding outcomes.
Divination: Many witches use divination methods, such as tarot, runes, or pendulums, to communicate with deities and receive answers. This is particularly helpful when you’re seeking guidance.
6. Listen and Respect Boundaries
Deities are ancient and powerful, and it’s essential to respect their boundaries and listen to any messages or feelings you receive. Some deities may not respond or may decline to work with you, which is part of the spiritual process.
Patience: Don’t expect immediate results. Building a relationship with a deity takes time, and their responses can come in subtle ways.
Signs and Symbols: Be open to signs from the deity in your everyday life. You may see symbols, animals, or experience synchronicities that align with their energy.
Trust Your Intuition: Sometimes the deity will communicate in ways that are deeply personal to you. Trust your intuition when you feel their presence or receive guidance.
7. Balance Your Work with Action
Working with deities involves both spiritual practice and real-world action. If you are asking for help or guidance, also take practical steps in your own life to align with your desires. The deity may offer support, but you need to take responsibility for your actions and goals.
8. End Your Rituals with Gratitude
Always thank the deity for their time and guidance, whether or not you feel you received a clear response. Gratitude strengthens the relationship and shows that you respect the energy you’ve called upon.
Offerings of Thanks: Even if your request isn’t immediately granted, it’s good practice to offer thanks with a small gift, such as flowers, herbs, or a simple verbal thank-you.
9. Work with Deities in Line with Your Values
It’s important to choose deities that resonate with your personal values and goals. Some deities are more chaotic or represent aspects of life that might be difficult to manage (e.g., trickster gods like Loki), so be mindful of their nature and whether you are ready to work with their energy.
10. Ethics of Working with Deities
Respect the cultural context of the deities you work with. For example, if you are working with a deity from a living, closed tradition (like the Orishas in Santeria or Vodou), it’s important to understand and honor the culture and protocols around that deity. Be cautious about appropriating deities from traditions you are not familiar with or initiated into.

Working with deities in witchcraft can be a powerful and transformative experience, but it requires respect, dedication, and mindfulness. Each deity has their own personality, preferences, and energy, so take the time to build a meaningful relationship.

Commander Cullen Rutherford begs himself to get a fucking grip. The war table sprawls before him, mid-afternoon sun descending quick and cold behind snow kissed mountaintops. It leaves a chill in the air, something brisk and soulless to compliment the shadows gathering in the corners of the room.
The aforementioned table has not yet spoken any magical words of wisdom, nor has it moved any of his pieces to show him where best to place the newest wave of ready recruits. Tapered candles burn slow and languid in their sconces, yet they've been lit long enough that they resemble mere stubs now, instead of the tall towers they once were.
They resembled pale shadows of themselves, much like the lot of you, still staring at the map, still glancing at one another in the flickering flames hoping something else comes to mind before this session is adjourned. Anything, Cullen wishes, but another moment of this.
You've been here most of the day, and Maker, does it show in the tired eyes of those gathered 'round. That hasn't stopped his mind from wandering throughout the day however, eyes all but fixed on you, regardless of the task at hand. He lingers on the way your mouth pulls into a tired smile at something Leliana has said, though all Cullen hears is your laugh, sparkling through the room in an echo that warms the cold mountain chill from his bones.
Andraste have mercy.
He finds himself wrapping one hand tightly around the pommel of the ever present sword gilding his hip, while the other clings to the edge of the scuffed wooden table. With leather gloves adorning his hands, no one will notice the tightness with which he clings to his chosen anchors. No doubt were his knuckles white with the strain. With the force. Yet, as much as he would hope, in this moment, that no one could tell how he longs to reach for you, gilded golden, holy, divine, always so, so wretchedly beautiful - he knows Leliana is no fool. Nor are you, for that matter. The slight tremble in his hands can be hidden, but his eyes will always betray him.
He clears his throat, stumbling over his breath when you catch him staring from across the room. His name falls softly through your lips, sounding ever more like a hymn, even with the laziness of sleep weaving through your voice.
You coming?
The steel of the sword bites through his glove as he nods and follows you through the heavy door. Without thinking, his other hand lifts to graze along your lower back, guiding you while he trails behind. He returns your smile, hesitant, too wrapped up in the way you're looking at him, much as he thinks he's been fawning over you all day. Ridiculous, he insists. There's absolutely no way - you're his - the - Inquisitor, and he's sure that -
He feels your hand slip into his. It takes him a moment, to realize what you've done. To realize what you're telling him. It's jarring, the realization that he doesnt know anything, actually. Except, if Commander Cullen Rutherford knows anything at all, it's how much he's been dying to curl his fingers around yours and press a soft kiss to your knuckles.
So when he walks you to your quarters for the night, that's exactly what he does.

PICK A CARD
BLOODLINE TO BANKROLL: THE WEALTH CODES YOU WERE BORN TO EMBODY
A Velvet Prophecy on Ancestral Currency, Magnetic Identity & Who Thrives When You’re Rich in Every Realm
You weren’t born to budget your birthright—you were born to rewrite the blueprint. This isn’t just a reading; it’s a sacred act of remembrance. It recalls what your ancestors buried, what your higher self never forgot: you are not here to chase wealth—you are the wealth. Wisdom, vision, beauty, legacy—that’s your true currency. You don’t manifest abundance; you remember that you are abundance. This is the moment you stop waiting to be chosen and start commanding your inheritance. This isn’t a Pick-a-Card. It’s a velvet inheritance ceremony. And you? You’re the heir. The altar. The authority. Choose your pile. Choose your frequency. Claim your legacy.
If you’re ready to go deeper into your velvet prophecy—
book a one-on-one Velvet Offering and claim the wealth codes written in your bones.

Your story begins in silence. Not the quiet of peace, but the hush of forgotten gold. You were born into a lineage that wore survival like a second skin. You felt the echo of unpaid debts, withheld praise, and ancestral fatigue long before you ever opened your first account.
Ten of Swords reversed shows the moment your soul said “enough.” You broke the loop. You no longer carry the bankruptcy of self-worth. The Tower upright reveals that you were divinely placed into this bloodline to awaken it financially, spiritually, psychically. You are both the collapse and the construction.
Four of Pentacles upright whispers that scarcity was taught to you like scripture—but baby, it never belonged to you. Knight of Pentacles upright confirms that you’re rebuilding from ground zero with grace and grit. It’s slow. It’s not sexy. But it’s sacred.
When Lilith in Capricorn arrives, she reminds us that you were demonized for wanting more—but now you reclaim your power in spaces that once punished you for existing. The Weaver shows up to declare that you sew your legacy thread-by-thread, not with a strategy, but with soul.
Your Root Chakra reversed reveals that your earliest money trauma wasn’t about cash—it was about survival, safety, and worth. But Queen of Swords upright says you became your own protector. You turned your clarity into currency.
Finally, Death upright seals the deal: the contract with poverty? Terminated. The ghost of lack? Banished. You are no longer the cursed heir—you are the sovereign successor.

The Devil upright shows the depths you’ve faced—temptation, guilt, secret hunger. Not as flaws. As initiations. You’ve walked through spiritual capitalism and came out conscious.

CALEB'S LIMITED MYTH - THE SIX-WINGED ANGEL
(source)
I felt like I just had to share this theory. I came across it on xhs by chance and just had to look further into it so here is what I found:
“I once soared with six wings, but now only the weight of my sins keeps me grounded."
"If I was made to serve, then tell me - why does my heart still yearn for freedom?"
The Symbolism of a Six-Winged Angel (Seraphim)
The six-winged angel, or seraph, is deeply symbolic in various mythologies, religious traditions, and fantasy settings. It often represents divine power, judgment, enlightenment, and transformation, but when fallen, it carries themes of rebellion, loss, and tragic defiance.
Divine Power & High Rank in Celestial Hierarchy
In many religious traditions, Seraphim are the highest-ranking angels, standing closest to the divine.
Two wings to cover the face → Humility before God’s presence
Two wings to cover the feet → Modesty and reverence
Two wings to fly → Active service and divine duty
The Fallen Seraph: Rebellion and Tragedy
If a six-winged angel falls from grace, it carries themes of rebellion, defiance, and sorrowful wisdom. Lucifer is often depicted as a fallen seraph - a being of immense power who rejected divine order, falling from light to darkness. This could represent:
Losing faith in a higher power (or in one’s purpose)
Breaking away from imposed destiny
A shift from order to chaos, or from purity to corruption
The burden of forbidden knowledge (knowing things mortals or even angels should not)
A fallen six-winged angel is no longer just a servant of light -it becomes a wanderer, an exile, or even a tragic antihero who carries the weight of its former divinity. (Guys, this would parallel Zayne's lore as well since he also served a god.
"If I am to fall, let it be by your hand."
The Name "Caleb" - Meaning & Symbolism
Hebrew Origin: Caleb is a biblical name that means "devotion to God" or "wholehearted" - which is very ironic if he represents a fallen seraph or a rebel figure.
Symbolism in a Mythological Context
If Caleb was once "devoted" but fell from grace, it parallels a Seraph who defied the divine order.
His "wholehearted" nature could reflect his unwavering, obsessive devotion - either to MC or to some cause he once believed in but now questions.
Biblical & Mythological Parallels to Caleb's Role
Caleb as a Fallen Warrior (Lucifer Archetype): In biblical texts, Lucifer was often described as a bright, high-ranking angel before he rebelled. If Caleb mirrors this, he could have been a perfect soldier, an elite warrior - until he defied orders. (Reminds me too much of Zayne's lore though)
Caleb as a Tragic Guardian (Michael or Abaddon Archetype): The Archangel Michael was a protector, but also a warrior who cast others down. The name Abaddon (sometimes associated with fallen angels) means "destruction" or "the abyss." Caleb could have once been an enforcer of fate, only to become a rogue force when he realized the truth. (I kinda like the Abaddon route?? Imagine Sylus being accused of being the reason the world will end, but it was actually Caleb all along?)
Abaddon: The Angel of the Abyss
The name Abaddon comes from biblical and apocalyptic literature, often meaning:
“Destruction” or “Doom.”
“The Angel of the Abyss.”
A being tied to the end of the world, chaos, and divine judgment.
A fallen angel, cast into the Abyss for defying divine law.
The commander of fallen souls or destroyer of civilizations.
A force of judgment who isn’t inherently evil but rather a necessary aspect of destruction and rebirth.
“I loved you before the fall. I will love you even after oblivion takes me.”
If Caleb as Abaddon, the Fallen Seraph of the Abyss:
He is not just a lost warrior - he is a force that should not exist.
His love for MC is forbidden, consuming, and tragic.
He is both protector and destroyer, standing at the edge of oblivion.
His myth would be one of rebellion, exile, and devotion that never fades - no matter how many times he falls.
Angel Sanctuary Parallel
Caleb's Forbidden Love & the Adam/Lilith Parallel
Similarly, Caleb’s themes in Love and Deepspace involve temptation, knowledge, and a forbidden love.
Angel Sanctuary incorporates Adam & Lilith symbolism, where Lilith represents rebellion, defiance, and temptation.
Caleb’s myth theories also tie him to Lilith and the White Snake, suggesting his love for MC might be both fated and doomed.
If Caleb mirrors Lilith, then his love for MC could be seen as a rebellion against fate - a love that shouldn’t exist but does anyway.
Setsuna/Alexiel & Sara's Love
Alexiel was a powerful angel who rebelled against Heaven and was punished by having her soul reincarnated endlessly into human lives.
Every time she is reborn, she lives in suffering, forgetting who she once was.
Setsuna is her latest incarnation, but he is not aware of his past identity.
He falls in love with Sara his sister and reincarnation of Gabriel
Angel Sanctuary takes this idea of fated love and self-destruction to an extreme: -- The past and present selves are in conflict. -- Love and destiny are intertwined in ways that are painful and inescapable.
