Introducing! Ash of the Grove. My Grave Domain Cleric for what we lovingly call ‘Campaign 1’. Or just that D&D campaign in which myself and the DM kept a massive character and plot secret from everyone else in the party for 2 years… 🤭

Sworn to uphold the Balance of life and death, Ash walks the thin line between Cleric and becoming an Oathbreaker. Cast from her home, the Grove, Ash was sworn to uphold a special oath after failing her final test. To protect and raise the young Vampire she claims is her sister, to never allow her even ‘one drop’ of blood, and to never let her know of the truth of her existence… (and yes, her ‘sister’ is a fellow PC)

This is the first of many posts about my various D&D campaigns and characters, I’ve been getting back into digital art recently… very therapeutic ✨

I was reading the last couple pages of the Legend of Korra turf wars comic and there’s like this big event happening with lots of background characters. I like to give comic panels a really good look ‘cos it’s nice to appreciate the effort it took to create all the art.... and I started to notice some things... some Easter eggs if you will. I tried finding posts online about it but couldn’t seem to see anything so I thought I might as well share it ‘cos I’m absolutely ecstatic.

So first we got the sages from naruto??? Hello... tsunade? Jiraya? Orichimaru??

Next up we got sailor Neptune, sailor Pluto and sailor Uranus???

Who’s that little silhouette off in the middle there? Looks like a familiar hairstyle hmmm

Yep!! The rest of the sailor senshis are here too!

And look who’s right beside them?? Ryo and akira???

We’re not done yet! More form the naruto universe! Haku and zabuza!

Jokes aside,,, you may or may not know but the EU parliament just passed the Common Agricultural Policy which will (in brief) ultimately use €400 billion to invest in unsustainable only-for-profit agriculture which will contribute to the climate crises considerably and destroys any hope for an EU New Green Deal. I really recommend looking into the policy yourself to see the atrocities they’ve incited. But we cannot give up! Let’s campaign together to #withdrawthiscap !
