when you agreed to acompany trey and riddle to their hometown over a break, you hadent imagined that youd run into a childhood friend of theirs. a girl that helped around with them a lot, and grew up with them. at first it was fine.. until she started putting her hand on treys shoulder, hitting his arm a lot, fluttering her eyelashes at him.. and than suddenly it wasent ok.

you now sat fumming in the corner of his family owned bakery, muchning on a pastry he had made just for you- but sudenly the sweet taste of the berries tasted bitter as you watched their childhood friend attemt to kekindle an old grade-school crush.

riddle leaned agasnt the wall next to you, a smirk placed on his lips as his arms crossed over his chest. you glared up at him before he could even speak, "imma stop you right there riddle.. im- im fine." he looked like he was about to laugh hysterically at your red face, "you look as red as i usually do. she really got under your skin that much prefect?"

as you continued to glare daggers at their childhood friend, you didnt even noticed trey glance at you. he quickly noticed that you seemed annoyed adn asked her to leave, with much resistance she fianlly left. only then did you relize him appraching you, "you seem upset love.." he smiled softly at you.

you let out a small huff, leaning foward to bury your face in his chest, "you know im not mad at you..". you leaned more into him as you felt his chest rumbling with hims humming, his fingers laced into your hair, soothing you so quickly it was stupid.

you lifted your head to look at him, gazing into his eyes, "you owe me so many pastries for that very stressful experience, clover". he leaned down and pecked your nose, mumbling against your skin, "whatever youd like from me, i will give my dear."

you were sat in the bleachers, watching another spell drive game that ruggie had asked you to watch. you were sat with ace, duece, and grimm as you witnessed savanaclaw destroying the other team. your whole focus was on ruggie as he smiled and blew kisses to you each time he scored.

it was so dorky, but also so cute; minus ace gagging every time it happened.

by the time the game was over the trio went down to the field to meet up with ruggie, you searched for a while before seeing leona, "leona! hey, where's ruggie?" he looked down at you unimpressed, but pointed a finger behind him. when you shuffled to look behind him you saw a girl talking to him, holding his arm, and trying to flirt with him. and suddenly you understood why leona looked upset when you asked..

"ohh.. prefects gonna kill him." you heard ace mumbled behind you before grimm jumped up on your back, "ive been telling you hes no good henchhuman, he never shares his food with me.." you rolled your eyes at the glutton of a direbeast you got stuck with before grabbing him off you and handing him to duece.

you calmly walked over to them and stood beside ruggie, a blank expression on your face, "hey, can i help you?" as you slip a hand into his. you watch her expression grow sour as she rolls her eyes adn turns away from you both.

you hear him chuckle nervously before you even look at him, "baby, listen to me- shes a crazed fan.. i swear". you drop his hand and stand in front of him, crossing your arms over your chest. "no c'mon, dont give me the disappointed look" he whined, wrapping his arms around your waist and slumping into you.

you sighed and wrapped your arms around his shoulders, as you did you felt him smile into your neck before picking you up and spinning you around, "your the best partner ever, she doesnt even compare baby, promise". you giggled as he set you down, a small smile now on your face, "fine fine, but i expect you to get grimm food the rest of the month" you watched as his face fell and you knew hed never entertain another girl ever, even for his ego.

you were working a shift at the monstro lounge with the twins. it was an especially loudly and busy night because it was a friday, everyone was excited to have a few days off of school. so it left you working more hours than usual with floyd and jade, running back and forth to drop off drinks whie they handled food.

eventually azul told you to take a break because you looked like death. so you ended up sitting down in the back area of the lounge, sipping on a water. it was so peaceful before floyd barged through the door and almost made you drop your glass, 'floyd-" "shrimpy!".

you smiled at his antics, rolling your eyes at his volume. he crouched in front of you with a big smile, "you should wrap up your break.. jades with a girl out there~". you quirked an eyebrow at him, "seriously? thats all you got today, your usually much better with your bits floyd.."

he huffed and rolled his eyes at you before dragging you up, pushing you to look out the window in the door leading back to the lounge, "ah- floyd! seriously i just wanna take my break.. c'mon-" you got cut off on the view of a girl in a long dress with a long slit sitting at a raised table, seemingly flirting with jade as he stood there and smiled at her.

you could hear floyd giggling behind you, "oh~ shrimpys mad", you turned and glared at him, "go get him, and bring him here please" he smiled brodly and left quickly (such a suck up for drama). you sat to the side as you watched floyd drag his brother into the back room.

he smiled when he saw you, "hello, my pearl." you look at him unimpressed, arms crossed across your chest. floyd got the vibe and slipped out of the room, when he did jade stridded across the room to you, "why the face darling?" as he slipped his arms around your waist.

you quickly pointed a finger at him, "nu uh, your not getting out of this that easily leech". he tilited his head at you, "get out of what?" your blank stare in responce was enough to make him laugh as he retsed his head in the crook of your neck, placing small kisses up to your jaw, "i promise it was nothing.."

you sighed, lacing a hand through the hair at the base of his neck as he came to face you, gazing into your eyes before placing a kiss on your lips, "does this make it better.." he mumbled against your lips. you rolled your eyes, pulling him back by his collar.

when you pulled back you noticed he had a small blush on his cheeks, "now were even". you tried to walk back to the lounge with a smug smile on your lips, only to be pulled back by your wrist and back into his embrace, "your not getting away that easily darling.." he murmured against your jaw. and suddenly it was hard to remember why you were even mad..

kalim had thrown another party at the scarabia dorms, so while jamil stayed in the kitchen and made a majoroty of the food you offered to stay out with everyone else and basically babysit kalim for him. so it left you sat in the lounge of scarabia with a drink in hand, sat on a pillow next to kalim as he eagerly chatted with dorm members about their classes and coming plans.

every once and a while youd see jamil come out with more food or refilling drinks, and that was your favorite part of the night cause hed come give you a kiss on the top of your head without fail. a small thank you for watching kalim for him.

but as you watched him come out again, you watched a girl grab him by the arm and pull him to her as she talked in his ear. you also watched a face of disgusted take over his features as he yanked his arm away and didnt say a word to her, retreating back to the kitchen.

you tugged on kalim cardigan sleeve, "hey.. kal.. whos that girl?" you pointed to her as you asked, he made a face before responding, "some weird girl, i dont really know her. or why shes here actually.." he tapped a finger to his chin in thought, "nah cant remember!" as he smiled at you before going back to his conversation.

you rolled your eyes and settled back into the pillows behind you, sipping on your drink. after a couple minutes you felt a familiar arm wrap arund your shoulders from the other side that kalim wasent on. glancing over you saw your boyfriend, you leaned into his side smiling, "giving yourself a break for once viper?"

he shuddered and stuck his tongue out, "i wish, no, some girl wont leave me alone" you almost burst out laughing on the spot, "i saw.. she seemed into you. you dont know her?" he immediately shook his head, "ew, fuck no. and she keeps following me and its gross." you laced your hand through his that dangled from your shoulder and smiled, "you cant even be civil and have a conversation to tell her to leave u alone?"

he looked down at you like you told him to curse his whole dorm(well shit..), "what? absolutely not." you quirked an eyebrow at him, "why not?" as you asked you heard kalim speak up beside you, "because shes not you prefect! he wont talk to anyone really that isnt you or if he has to" he gave you a smile and turned back to his conversation.

you looked back to jamil with a smirk, "your such a softie.." he turned away with a slight flush on his cheeks, "whatever.." you smiled and leaned up to kiss his cheek, "its fine, i love it". he turned back and sighed, placing a kiss on your forehead, mumbling against your skin, "love you too alhabib.." (its beloved in arabic).

you sat in the cafeteria with vil, epel, jamil, and kalim, you were all talking about rehersals for the upcoming singing and dancing competition. you were too invested in the conversation that you hadent realized that rook was still missing until epel spoke up, "hey kalim, you had a class with him, do you know where rook is?" you watched as he thought for a moment and shook his head, "havent seen him since we left class, sorry"

it was weird.. he was never late, "hey im gonna go look for him, fill me in later epel!" you called behind you as you grabbed your bag and left the cafeteria. wandering the halls you kept your ears open, you knew your boyfriend was loud and it would be the first thing you could notice.

as you turned a corner you finally heard him in the cortyard, as well as a.. girl? peeking around the corner you saw a girl talking to him as he sat there with a blank face.. was she hitting on him? after a couple seconds you watched as he smiled and laughed at her a little, patted her shoulder and started walking in your direction.

you ducked behind the wall and tried to act as natural as possible. when he came around you called him out, "rook, hey..". he jumped a little adn turned towards you, "oh! mon cheri! how are you? come to look for me?" you crossed your arms over your chest at his words, giving him a skeptical look.

he continued to smile at you, grabbing your hands and uncorossing your arms, "why so cross cheri?". you sighed and explained what you had saw, when you were done you heard him laughing at you, wait- what, laughing? "oh my, you misunderstand. she was confused, she didnt relize i had you". you sighed, leaning into his side, "your lucky i belive you.." he wrapped an arm around your shoulder, tucking you close, placing a kiss on the crown of your head, "i only have eyes for you mon cheri"

you sat in the lounge of diasmonia with sebek and silver, you helped them with their recent potions assignment. when they had finally gotten it you grabbed the book you were reading and picked up where you left off. malleus sat on his own chair, reading a recent book you had recommended to him. you normally be with lilia but he was finishing up running some errands and you decided to stay in the dorm and wait for him.

you didnt even hear him coming back to the dorm, the first thing you felt was a breath on your neck and you knew he was back, "hello my love.." you kept your eyes trained on your book as you watched silver and sebeks necks snap up and see him there, both equally confused on how you knew before they did, "lilia! your back already!"

you winced slightly, "not so loud seb, please" he immediately apologized, he held you to as much respect as he did lilia. you sighed as you felt said man plop onto the couch next to you, rolling his head into your lap. wrapping his arms around your hips as he buried his face into your shirt, "it was horrible dear" he wailed quietly, muffled by your clothes.

you gently ran a hand through his hair, continuing to read your book as you indulged him, "what happened now?" he rolled over, his face upwards. you moved your book to look down into his eyes with a skeptical look, "there was a girl, and she hit on me" you faked a gasp, "my poor boy, whatd she do?" being so used to his antics.

he floated up, flinging his arms around for theatrics, "she was trying to ask me to get coffee" you placed a hand over your mouth in fake shock, "and whatd you tell her?". he hung upside down and placed a kiss on your lips, pulling back slightly with bright eyes and a smile showing his fangs, "that i already have a beautiful wife at home". you rolled your eyes smiling, "thats my husband".

you knew it was smart to go back to rhamshackle soon, but you wanted to spend some time with your boyfriend before that. you stood from his bed, walking to be behind his chair, your body sluming forward. your arms fell around his shoulders, laying on his chest as you tucked your head into the crook of his neck, "idia.." you mumbled, placing small kisses on his pale neck, "i gotta go soon.. cmere"

he jumped slightly at your kisses, his hand coming up to rest on yours, "i-i didnt relize it was so late.." he finished up his raid with you wrapped around the top half of his body. when he was done he got up to switch off his light, following you to his bed so you guys could lay down together for a bit before you left.

he got under his covers, opening his arm for you to lay on his chest. you quickly look his offer, laying your head on his chest, your arm laying across his waist, and your leg hooking onto his. you hummed at his warmth as his arm wrapped around your waist.. only than did he realize that he could feel your.. bare skin? once the realization set in that you were wearing a tank top he froze, blushing profusely, "you- you didnt say you were- i- this is boss level actions-" his hair flared slightly at his words as he buried his face in your hair, he cant handle all that without warning (your too fine)

your eyes widened as you took in the scene, a picnic blanket and foot set out under a tree in the gardens of diasmonia dorm. fairy lights hung from the surrounding trees. you turned to face him and were faced with a small wrapped bouquet of your favorite flowers, you took them slowly as you looked up at him, "mal.. this-this is perfect" you reached up, cupping his jaw and pecking his cheek.

he smiled softly, his hands resting on your waist, "only the best for you beloved.. you look perfect". you smiled up at him, resting your head on his chest as you hugged him.

after your thanks were over he moved you guys to the blanket, sitting across from each other. you went back and forth trying the different foods he brought and talking about your guys weeks. as you were talking about your potions class with silver you noticed his eyes continue to wander between your eyes and chest.. you leaned forward and waved a hand in front of his eyes lightly, "you ok? you seem.. out of it", you let your hand fall to hold his in his lap.

as you looked up you were shocked, you never thought youd see a day where you made him flush, but here it was. you locked eyes with him as it registered that he was blushing. your malleus was blushing. his eyes widened at you calling him to attention, his hand squeezing yours as he avoided your gaze quickly, "y-yes. im quite alright beloved.. i didnt think id be so affected by you this evening is all."

you let out a laugh at his words, "im yours mal, your aloud to look when i dress up for you." he nodded at your words, "i see.." you rolled your eyes, smiling as he brought your hand up to his lips to brush a kiss to the top of your hand. he kept your hand up as he looked at you, "does this mean i am aloud to request that you wear that top more often..". you flushed at his words (back to normal), "of course mal.."

every new thought was another anxiety that just caused your breath to quicken. your thoughts were flooded with negatives.. if you had magic this is what youd assume a magic blot would feel like.. so much negative emotions piling into you all at once.

you eventually sat below a tree, knees curled to your chest as you tried to calm yourself down. it didnt help that you hadent slept in days, insomnia only getting worse since coming to nightraven.

yet no matter what you did your breaths wouldnt calm, your hands kept shaking, and you couldnt hear or see straight. you almost jumped right out of your skin as you felt hands grab your own that covered your face. looking up you saw brown hair and ears.. leona?

his voice made its way to you eventually, "herbavore? herbavore.. seriously c'mon your worrying me. ruggie said you ran off but i didnt think itd be this bad." he mumbled to himself before his hands slipped dwon to your biceps, "hey, listen to me." he spoke firmly.

your eyes eventually meet him, your breaths calmling slightly at his presence. taking large breaths through your lips as you looked up at him, arms shaking in his hold. "dont fall out on me now, we need you." he spoke lowly as he scopped you up with ease, placing you betwen his legs, "your alright now herbivore, whatevers going on in that head of yours, its gonna be alright, yea?" he placed a kiss on your forhead allowng you time to breath normally.

when your breaths calmed and body began to calm, you sighed and leaned more into his body, "thank you.. leona". he chuckled deeply, sloching more down the tree, letting you fall into his chest. he looked skeptical but quickly turned to make sure kalim was drinking water and taking a proper break. ace mumbled something under his breath that you barley couldnt catch before he stood up and walked towards vil who was with rook and epel, who were talking across the room.

you saw vil look down at ace with his arms crossed, he glanced at you as ace pointed a finger to you. vil abandoned his conversation with epel and rook, shooing away the others around you, "why wouldnt you say that you havent been sleeping, thats not proper conditions for you to be proforming in prefect."

"im fine vil-", he rolled his eyes and cut you off, "you look anything but, stand" he reached a hand down to you, pulling you up from the ground. your head swam with spots when you rose too quickly, stumbling into vil.

the night air nipped at your skin as you left the dorm, the creaking of the building was replaced by the gentle wind and silence of the outside. you wondered down the trails around campus, coming near diasomnia. you smiled as you felt him near, "hornton. i know your there.. come on out"

malleus came from the shadows, a small frown on his lips, "how do you always know it's me prefect?". you smiled at his questioning, wrapping your arms around his waist, "cause I just do.."

-the students come to you and lilia instead of malleus most of the time, they see you as the parents of the dorm

-silver sees you both as his parents and calls you mother/father/parent (its precious)

you were sat in the living area of diasomnia with silver and sebek, aiding them in their alchemy homework. you sat cross-legged on the couch as they sat on the floor, their tucked under the table. you smiled as they finally got the lesson and wrote their own notes from your teachings.

after a while you felt a dip in the couch next to you, you smiled softly knowing who it was, "hello my love, how was the dorm leaders meeting?'. silver and sebek perked up as you spoke, not realizing his presence till you spoke up.

now sat between his legs you looked up and now saw his eyes beggining to open, "hello there little one.. have you come to bring me back?" you nodded, leaning into his chest. "lilia sent me to find you.. i assumed id find you out here"

-you have to make a large majority of first moves (he literally screamed the first time you kissed him)

-he has slightly chapped lips, but its not bad, your chapstick wears off on him

-he trusts you to be close to malleus, feel blessed

-similar to silver, you becom every close to malleus and his retaners due to your constant proximity to sebek

-you all hang out with the first years a lot, and he always keeps an arma round your shoulder or waist because ace always fake flirts with you

-always places small and quick kisses on your cheek and head

-your the only person hes really quiet around lowkey

you were walking down the hall with ace and duece, just having left broom lessons. youd fallen off so many times it wasent even funny.. and ace wasent letting up. you shoved his shoulder as he made another joke about your clumsiness during class, "shut it ace! i normally do way better.. im off my game today." you mumbled.

he teased you about it being cause of sebek, that he was ;distracting' you, and just on que he popped out from around the corner, running to your side with a smile. he wrapped an arm around your shoulder and placed a kiss to your head, "i just passed treins exam with flying colors!" he shouted.

-is stil so nervous to be around you in public even after you guys start dating so PDA is absoultly out of the question, hes not even actually in classes 99% of the time..

-after your courses are over you always end up in the ignihyde dorms on his bed telling him about your classes while playing games on his switch, while he plays games on his pc

-it takes a very long time for him to be able to kiss you, just anywhere

he squeaked and jumped in his seat as he heard your voice, head whipping towards you "oh- well- you know i just got excited.. a-and you were on your way anyways" he nervously rambled looking into his lap, he looked up and smiled sighing "h-how was your day?"

"nice rebound.." you mumbled, closing his door behind you as you threw your school game at the edge of his bed. walking to stand behind his chair, wrapping your arms around his shoulders and slumping into his neck, "eh its alright.. i dont mind. how is it so far?"

he smiled quickly and went on a 15min rant about the beginning of the game, the graphics, visuals, weapons, co-op ability, and so forth. you just smiled and placed a small kiss to his neck, unwrapping yourself from him to grab your own chair that you kept in his room so you could sit by him. he continued his rant, you placing small comments here and there, and he held your hand as he did. running his hand over your knuckles and tracing shapes on your palm.

you let him speak, lifting his hands to place a kiss on his knuckles, "sounds very interesting so far, you ready to keep playing?". he just nodded pulling up the game on his monitor again, pausing before he tuned and quickly pecked your lips. blushing he turned back to his monitor and started playing to distract himself, "..thank you for being here my love" he mumbled.

-he loves to play games with you as well, any new game out, ortho wants to play with you or watch you play it (he has the best cheat codes for any game)

-no kissing here, but if it was itd be like a small chee kiss of just appreciation like itd be from a sibling

-he was the main person pushing idia to be more social when he realized his brother had a crush

-overall is literally a little brother to you as well, and its so sweet

it was a day before a large break and most of the students were leaving campus, not the ignihyde brother though.. theyre parets were so busy there was no point in going back home for holidays. they could do what they were going to do here instead of bothering to travel.

what they didnt relize was that because you werent of this world, you also had no family to go home to.. which landed you all in the situation of hanging out in idias dorm as he played on his pc set up, you and ortho sat on his bed as you played on idias switch.

a new game has just come out and ortho was helping you get almost every single hack and cheat in the game, it was great. ortho gave you a big hug as you got something for him in the game, as you two both nerded out about a little farming game idia turned a bit and smiled at his brother and partner having such a good bond, it made him glad.

as you sat in thought on his bed, the door suddenly slammed open dn closed within the same second. a very exhausted and for once slightly disheveled vil leaned his back against the door to his dorm room. two strands of hair were loose from his normal braids and sticking up from his crown that was oh so slightly angled in the wrong way that would normally send him into a spiral. his robes had.. wrickles? gods what did they do to him..

"vil? are you alright sweetheart..? you asked gently, raising from his bed to stand before him, taking his hands in yours, "I take it the freshman are a handful this year?"

he looked down at you with tired eye, leaning forward to rest his chin on your shoulder. his torso folded to your height as he wrapped his arms around your waist, sighing into your shoulder.

"those.. children.. dont know how to behave. how they got into pomefiore in the first place is beyond me, and of course, rook has already taken interest in a particular little poison apple that seems to have an energy about him that guarantees trouble. they don't know how to act, they don't treat me as the royalty I am.. they-" he rambled on into your shoulder, mumbling small curses between subject matters.

you took his face between your hands and looked into his eyes, "vil, its ok. they don't know any better yet. give them time.." you spook gently, being used to his almost instant rants as soon as he was in the privacy of his dorm room.

as he sighed and leaned into your hand, placing kisses onto your palm, he finally smiled, "your right my love.. your always right, you always know how to calm me" he regained his composure and stood, sweeping you into his arms as he carried you to his desk, setting you into his lap "would you help me remove my makeup, id like to hear about your day now poison.."

"is there a reason your trying to stop the blood flow from my hand, crimson?" he questioned quietly so the others didn't hear, looking concerned as you released his hand immediately and shaking it out.

"yes.. yea- yea for sure. im good." you rambled in a slight panic. everyone else seemed so calm and excited to be here, but it was just nerves, "do you.. do you think your families gonna like me?" you asked quickly.

"what?" his head snapped towards you, his bangs covering his eyes for a second as his southern accent slipped through, being home and with you made him more comfortable it being normal as he questioned you, "like you? crimson they're gonna love you more than they love me" he reassured, picking up your hand again and placing a gentle kiss to the back of it. tugging you closed to leave a small peck on your lips once he made sure no one else was looking. he held his lips at your hand mumbling while looking into your eyes, "your perfect.."

-his lips are nice but they're a little crackly, due to the fact that everywhere he is (the scalding sands and scarbia dorm) is really hot and dry

-if you did point it out he would ask Jamil for tips

-or if you put lip oils on him, he'd gladly let you

-he does that thing where if you had lip oils on, he would ask what it was and then just kiss you and comment on the scent/flavor

-he's so patient yet energetic about kissing you

-showers your face with kisses/would gives you a quick kiss between classes or when he sees you and then just continues on like nothing with a big smile on his face

-does not care if you're in public, in moderation

-but he does treasure the time your both alone, and he can be as affection as he wants

Orientation had gone well, even if Kalim had wandered off to try to change the robe colors and ended up running into one of the most powerful faes in the land.... besides that! Only a few students got sorted into Scarabia with you, Kalim, and Jamil. Even though Kamil seemed energetic and peppy in front of everyone, you could see the exhaustion start to seep in from the long day.

As you three stood in front of the freshman, still in your ceremonial robes. You took turns speaking, explaining the sorcerer of the sand's morals, expectations of the dorm, food and sleeping situations, and just a general explanation of Scarabia dorm. Jamil ended it by telling the second years to help the freshman to their rooms, and that if they had any other questions they could ask any of the three of you. Most of them followed the second years but few had questions about dorm and classes. Once all questions had been answered and everyone else was in their rooms, including Jamil, only you and Kalim were left in Scarabias lounge.

You let out a deep sigh, "well, that didn't go horrible?" glancing over you saw Kalim already looking at you. He smiled softly at you, "aha ha, well it's been worse befo- '' before he could finish he got cut off by himself yawning. You immediately opened your arms to him, he basically jumped at you clinging to your waist and burying his face into the space between your shoulder and neck. your arms found purchase around his shoulders, one of your hands coming up the back of his neck to twirl a bit of the loose fluff at the nape of his neck. You whispered into his ear, "do you want to get your adornments off love?" he glanced up at you nodding silently.

You took his hand and led him back to his dorm room, you left him to change out of his robes on his own, going to the bathroom attached to his dorm room to change out of yours as well. After you were done you went and sat on the edge of his bed, watching as he stood next to his desk, now in just black shorts and a scarabia dorm hoodie, yet all of his adornments were still clinging to him. Shuffling on his bed to now be on the end, you patted at the small bench that hugged the end of his bed signaling for him to sit.

He sat criss crossed on the bench facing you. You reached out and cupped his cheeks, leaning down and connecting your lips, he reached out and held both of your wrists pulling you more towards him. After a while, you needed a break for breath, dropping your hands from his cheeks as you parted. He caught your lips in a quick peck. Pulling away he flashed his signature smile, "thank you, my desert rose.". A light blush adorned your cheeks at the all-too-familiar pet name, you simply hummed as you reached out to his head scarf. untying the bow on the side and slipping it off, folding it on the bed next to you. Next were his earrings and bracelets, both now resting on the folded scarf.

Your hand lifted to cup his jaw as you moved your face to be right in front of his, whispering softly above his lips, "I love you, Kalim.".He closed the small gap, giving you small lazy pecks to your lips and cheeks, "you'll never know how much I love you, my beautiful desert rose."

Jamil Viper 🐍

-his lips are so nice, and you can't convince me otherwise

-he "isn't the best" at anything, but he truly does keep up his appearances

-loves to tease you, but only when you guys are alone

-in public, the most he will do is hold your hand, not because he's embarrassed of you, but because he flustered very easily

-he hasn't been with anyone else, so he's not used to physical affection from anyone

-jamil is so grateful that you do help him become more comfortable with giving and receiving affection

-in turn, he would take care of you, but not like he does with kalim where he's slightly forced to, he really wants to

-you also do the same for him, seeing as he's always stressed with being damage control and needed to run most things in scarabia dorm

-if you help him with any of it, he will give you all of his affection and attention when he can

-most affection while in the scarabia dorm lounge at night when everyone else is asleep and your bith playing old board games from the scalding sands (even if you've never won a single game seeing him happy and telling stories of his home is worth it)

-only really gives you kisses when you're in his dorm room, it's the only place he knows people cant barge in

-most scarabia students don't even know you guys are together, they assume you are in the same position as Jamil. Working under the Al asim family

-nope, you just want to lessen jamils workload

-mostly light kisses placed on your jaw, neck, and lips

-similarly to kalim he will melt if you help him take out his hair, undo his braids, and take out the gold accessories, hell melt, suddenly he's all mushy

-accompanying him to cook for the dorm is a mist, even if you can't cook you are the only person he allows to linger in the kitchen with him

-tells you stories of different recipes from his home, the spices, etc

-would let you taste test them, and even make you sweets of your own as random surprises

-if he's especially tired by the day he will collapse on his bed with you and just talk to him about the day while you undo his hair and you both swap random kisses and acts of affection

-helping him with his eye makeup (we've all seen his eyeliner/shadow, it's gorgeous), and him giving you random kisses wherever he can when you do

(connected to kalims story kind of, but it's with jamil, same orientation premise.)

You sat at jamils desk in his dorm room reading a novel about different spells from history. It was meant to be for a project in Treins class, but you kept going due to the fascination that had sparked the more you read. You were waiting for Jamil to come back from orientation, after all, you weren't an official student, so you simply waited for him in his room. You hadn't realized how long it had been until you finished the chapter you were on and glanced up to see the night sky sprinkled with stars.

Your thoughts were interrupted when you heard the quick opening and shutting of the door, jumping slightly you looked over to see a worn Jamil. You watch quietly as he trudges to the edge of his bed falling face-first into his sheets. Marking your place in the book, you set it down and make your way to him. Sitting next to him you caress his back slowly, "How was orientation my viper?". All he does in response is groan into his sheets. Sighing softly you tell him to get out of his robes and you go into his bathroom to get makeup wipes. Walking back you see that he's now laying on his back, clad in black shorts and a scarabia shirt, arm thrown over his head, and robes were thrown to the floor.

Settling to sit next to him on the bed, wipes in hand, "C'mon, makeup off.". He flops his arm off his face and into the bed, turning his head towards you, "then come here beloved." he spoke softly as he held out his hands at either side of his hips. Immediately understanding what he wanted, you climbed into his lap, resting your knees on the sides of his hips. His hands rested on your hips slightly under your sweater, you turned a little to reach for the makeup wipes. You took one out of the package and leaned down to wipe his eye makeup off, all while he rubbed small circles on your hips and planted random kisses on your face. In between you would take breaks and close the space, giving him a quick peck on the lips or telling him about your day/asking him to speak about his.

Once you were finished with his makeup you leaned back up and set the package and dirty wipes on his bedside desk. When you leaned back to him you realized his braids were still in, motioning for him to sit up. He gave an exasperated sigh but sat up with you still in his lap, moving his arms to wrap around your waist. You started at the bottom taking out the bottom of the braids, slowly working on them one by one taking out any accessories on your way, including his iconic red feather. During this process, Jamil moved back and forth from your chest to your neck, jaw, and shoulder littering your skin with kisses and small thank yous while you worked. You took the jewelry you did take out into your hands, once again leaving it on his bedside, "there! all done." When you looked back at him he had a small smile on his face and practically hearts in his eyes, you waved your hand in front of his face. "...Jamil, a-are you ok?". He looked dazed as he replied whispering softly, "you truly have charmed me, my beloved."

Both being in a relationship with Azul and best friend with the Leech brother gave you a guarantee that you'd be pulled into working at the Monstro lounge. Yet with the ties you had the workload was much less demanding, yet you somehow ended up working just as much as Jade does every week. With your place, it also gave you permanent permission to enter the VIP lounge whenever you pleased. Now that your shift was over, you were whipping down one of the tables when you realized that you hadn't seen Azul your whole shift.

Glancing around the lounge you still couldn't see him, you did however see Floyd and Jade. Jade was cleaning tables similarly to you, his twin, however, was sprawled along a table most likely sleeping. Making your way over to Floyd you leaned over his face, "Hey Floyd!", He immediately smiled showing all of his sharp teeth, "SHRIMPY!" you giggled at his sudden joy, "Do you know where Azul is?". He groaned rolling his head off the table side, "He's stuck himself in the VIP room all day, boss is no fun". You quickly thanked him and made your way to the VIP room, quickly slipping in.

Opening the doors at first glance, you saw Azul hunched over his desk, head in hand while multiple papers and contracts lay across his desk. His chin was resting in the palm of his hand as his pen made its way across a sheet of paper. It soon joined the many other sheets and contracts that littered his desk. He glanced up to see you standing by the doorway, he smiled softly standing up and making his way to the front of his desk, "Hello darling, what brings you?" yea, he sounded exhausted.

You made your way to stand before him, wrapping your arms around his waist as soon as you were close enough. You explained to him that you hadn't seen him your whole shift and had gotten worried he was overworking himself again. Even if you couldn't see it, he was still embarrassed at the small blush that dusted his cheeks at your genuine worry for him. For him, even though he thought he didn't deserve it, here you were consulting him for something so small.

He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you tightly and kissing the crown of your head multiple times, "Thank you, prefect, for your worry truly makes me feel like a fortunate one."

Jade Leech🍄

-he's so proper but also enticed by you

-like Azul, his lips are very soft and are just really nice to feel

-he's much more affectionate in private, but that isn't without saying that he would show PDA if he felt like it

-when kissing him he sometimes tastes like... mushrooms, or sometimes just salty. at first, you were confused, but then he convinced you to join the mountain lovers club and you ended up also consumed by mushrooms and curiosity like Jade (the salt is just unexplainable, for sure)

-when he asks you questions about humans, you'd quip back with one about merfolk

-hed randomly kiss your cheek or nose while you were explaining something about humans or your home (he just thinks you are cute)

-he would also be so gentle with you

-he's used to floyd mood swings irrationality and being the voice of reason, so I feel like he's very gentle and soft with you because you don't make him be on his guard all the time

-Jade would take his breaks in the mostro lounge at the same time as you just so you both could sneak away to a quiet place just to be together for a little

Jade was leading you through one of the mountains near NRC, he said that he read about a kind of mushroom that could only be found near running rivers. It had a bright aqua-blue color to it. He wouldn't specify why he wanted this specific mushroom, all that he wanted was to go the next club meeting and that you had to come with him.

He dragged you up the walking path while rambling about sadi mushrooms and their properties. You half listened to him as you tried to take in the surroundings of the new trail that you had never been on. While your gaze was stuck on a particularly bright-colored butterfly, you hadn't realized you had come to a stop until jade leaned down right in front of your face, he looked slightly discouraged. "Have you found something else more interesting, my pearl?" You raised your hands to cradle his jaw leaning up to kiss his nose, "just saw a butterfly is all, shall we continue?"

He tilted his head in your hands, "whatever do you mean, we're here." As he stood back to his full height and stepped to your side you now saw the river running in front of you. As soon as you remembered you started surveying the shores of the river banks for the mushroom that Jade so desperately seemed to want. within a few seconds, you spotted the brightly colored mushroom, pointing in its direction you saw Jade follow your finger, "there, is that it?" You heard him chuckle and a hand being set on your head lightly ruffling your hair. He leaned down to kiss your cheek, "yes. that would be it, my pearl."

Floyd Leech🦐

-even if it wouldn't seem like it, his lips are also soft

-still stems from that vignette where they use stuff from the twins to make a moisturizer for Vil

-his kisses would be so energetic and quick

-he will not care about PDA, if he feels liek it he will just be affectionate in any way no matter whos around (if your comfortable with it)

-if his mood changes randomly during the day hell spend the next few minutes looking for you, all you'll hear is him yelling your name before you get squeezed and kissed all over your face

-he'd most commonly just litter kisses all over your face, or your neck/collarbone

-if you visited him at basketball club, be prepared to get smooched in front of everyone else

-you also end up having a similar role as Jade, which is caring for Floyd when his mood swings happen (AKA- cleaning up the aftermath/helping him)

-you're the only person that can chip up his mood when he's in a funk

You were sat in one of the corner booths at Monstro lounge waiting for Floyd to finish his work. He kept coming by your table to delay his job, but you kept shooting him away so he could actually finish and be able to have free time. All while sipping on the usual drink you got and scrolling through magicam, occasionally texting the group chat you had with the rest of the freshman.

You heard someone clear your through and you looked up to see Jade standing at the edge of your table wearing his usual small smile. You offered him a slight one back, questioning him "what brings you Jade? is Floyd Ok?". While the concern in your voice for his brother was sweet, Jade felt bad burdening you with Floyd rash mood swings, alas he cracked and shook his head. "I'm afraid he has fallen into another one of his fallen moods and has retired to his dorm room, would you be as kind as to check on him? I would but as you can see were quite busy.". Glancing around you noticed the lounge was considerably fuller than it was when your first got there.

You quickly finished your drink and assured Jade that you would check on him. Winding your way through the tables and patrons, you made your way to the actual rooms of the dorm. Knowing the way to his door by heart, you didn't bother knocking and slipped into the open room. There you saw Floyd just sitting on the floor next to his bed looking in his lap, until he realized your presence then his face quickly morphed into a smile full of his sharp teeth. "SHRIMPY!" you giggled softly shaking your head at his repetitive antics. you swiftly made your way to his side, once you were close enough he was able to grab you, tugging your figure into his lap squeezing you. Simply lacing your hand through his hair as you felt him nuzzling into the space between your shoulder and collarbone. He left small kisses wherever he could. once he seemed to be in a better mood you pulled back to look him in the eyes, "feeling better now?" he nodded and sealed it with a soft kiss to your lips.

While sitting in magic history with Ruggie he got a text. All he did was groan and show you his phone, glancing up from your textbook you saw it was from Leona. He was asking Ruggie to give him the lesson from today and the classwork, saying he was skipping to take a nap.

"Can you get him? He's got to have told you where he was taking his stupid daily cat nap" he said with a blank yet annoyed expression. You let out a quiet laugh pulling out your phone to see a barrage of messages from Leona telling you to come to join him in the botanical gardens. showing Ruggie your phone as you raised your hand to ask Treinif you can go to the restroom. "take my bag back to savanaclaw when class is over, please, thanks!" you murmured to him, quickly flashing him a smile. "just like Leona..." you heard him grumbling before you slipped out of your seat.

making your way through the halls and to the botanical gardens you spotted Leona leaning his back against the base of a tree. his arms crossed and a soft look across his features. kneeling next to his sleeping figure you reached out a hand to poke his cheek repeatedly, "Leona, wake up. I snuck out past Trein just for you." After a few pokes one of his eyes opened slowly, "whaddya want herbivore-?".

sitting next to him he softly wrapped his arm around your shoulder and pulled you to lean on his chest leaning his head back onto the tree. Trying to push him away slightly you frowned, "Hey, no. I came here to bring you to class. not to be swept into this." He looked down at you, sweeping a couple of kisses to the crown of your head, "Stay herbivore, please.". you melted at his words and into his embrace, closing your eyes and resting one of your hands on his warm chest. *I guess I could stay a while...*

-makes me think of someone who would kiss the corners of your lips just to mess with you, or kiss near/on your ears after whispering in them just to mess with you

You and Ruggie were walking down the halls after history to get to the cafeteria. Your hands were laced together so he wouldn't lose you with how fast he was walking. It was a day when the cafeteria was selling something that Leona needed apparently, so you got dragged with him to keep him company and to get your own food.

After waiting in line for almost 15 minutes you got Leona's food and both of yours. You were about to sit down when Ruggies phone buzzed, he pulled it out opening the notification with a groan tilting his head back. "what's wrong?", you reached your hand out to touch his arm looking up at him with concern.

"He's in the courtyard, he doesn't want to walk all the way over here" looking down at you apologetically, "i'll be right back, ok?" before he could even turn around fully you grabbed the back of his jacket pulling him down onto one of the cafeteria benches. "What was that for?" he screeched.

"I'll bring him his lunch, you stay here. You need a break, Ruggie..." He leaned in, giving you a small kiss on the corner of your lips, "Thank you", you mumbled a quick 'no problem' before getting Leona's lunch in hand. you planted a kiss between his ears and on the tips of each before leaving quickly, "I'll be right back!" leaving the poor boy flustered on the bench to stare blankly at the food in front of him with a blush dusting his cheeks.

Jack Howl🐺

-no matter how tough he wants to act, he's a big softie with you

-I feel like he would have well taken care of his lips, as we see in book 5 he was friends with Vil when they were kids

-so I feel like some of his beauty tips would've rubbed off on him, I mean have you seen his hair, it's gorgeous

-not someone who shows a ton of physical affection as he gets flustered so easily, but when you're alone hell give you as many kisses as you want

-following that, not super into PDA

-if you needed it I feel like he'd be comfortable after a while, as well as surrounded by friends

-he's the type to, without words, understand what you feeling and know how to make you feel better

-he holds your hand or wraps his arm around your shoulder while walking you to class

You walk through the halls with Jack and the rest of the freshmen on the way to the cafeteria. You all had hard exams that day, in which you didn't score the highest one, but none of you did really. The highest score was Epels, and he only got a 72% thanks to Vils nagging him the night before. You had scored one of the lowest in the group, and it was really getting to your head so you chose to stay silent the whole walk.

You kept your eyes downcast the whole walk to the cafeteria, barely noticing Jack's arm wrapped around your shoulder the whole time. Blindly letting him guide you to a table telling you to save the area as the rest of the freshman bags fell to the seats surrounding you. You felt him softly kiss your head as he walked with the remaining boys to get the food.

As you waited for them to return you sat and fiddled with the bracelet Jack had gotten you long ago (made out of the same beads that Savanclaw jewelry is made out of, yk what I mean). Your vacant gaze on your bracelet-covered wrist was broken at the sound of Deuce and Ace yelling at each other as they sat down first, followed suit by Epel and Sebek. Jack was last to join the group, arriving a few minutes after everyone else, he sat right next to you carrying both of your lunches. Looking at the food you realized that it wasn't normal cafeteria food, but your favorite snacks from Sam's shop.

Lifting your chin to look at him you simply smiled and leaned into his side as a show of gratitude for the kind gesture. You felt one of his hands come to the back of your head, directing you towards him as you felt him kiss your forehead. All you heard was Ace groaning, "get a room!" followed by a loud gasp from Sebek, "WE ARE IN PUBLIC". Sticking your tongue out at them all as you spoke for the first time since the exam, "you're all just jealous" leaning up to kiss Jack's cheek. They all groaned, but in reality, they were just glad you were feeling better.
