A self love night time routine 🌙🧸🪞🤍✨
Your night time routine is all about dedicating time to yourself. Your routine should be tailored to what makes YOU feel relaxed, loved, and cared for. You can add or modify any of these steps to make it perfect for you.
Cleanse & skin care routine. This isn’t just about hygiene. Cleansing your skin can also cleanse the day's stresses away. Remove makeup (if you wear it). Use a gentle cleanser. Apply toner, serums, or treatments if you use them. Moisturize to keep your skin hydrated.
Spend a few minutes decluttering and organizing so you can go to sleep with a clear mind.
Prepare for tomorrow. Pick out your clothes, prepare your lunch and create your to do list so you wake up with a plan of action.
Set aside electronics, especially those that might interrupt your relaxation (phones, laptops). Put them on the other side of the room, or another room to avoid distractions.
Spend a few minutes journaling or meditating on your day. Write down three things you're grateful for as well as your achievements or progress.
Make a herbal tea or warm milk. Stay away from caffeine, they will interfere with your sleep.
If you enjoy baths, now might be the time to have one with calming salts or essential oils. If you prefer showers, use this time to enjoy the sensation of the water, rather than rushing through it.
Spend a few minutes practicing deep breathing, grounding exercises, or meditation to calm your mind.
Choose a book, avoid anything too stimulating or stress inducing.
Stand in front of a mirror and speak kind words to yourself. Use positive affirmations that resonate with you, like “I am worthy of love and happiness” or “I did my best today, and that's enough.”
Dress in comfortable nightwear, ensuring your sleeping environment is cozy. This could be clean sheets and a comfortable pillow.
Dim the lights, play calming music or nature sounds, or use an essential oil diffuser with lavender or chamomile.
Before closing your eyes to sleep, visualize a peaceful scene or a memory that makes you happy.
As you lie in bed, silently express gratitude for the day. Set a positive intention for the next day.
Get full night's sleep. Make sure you’re getting 7-9 hours depending on your personal needs.

meditation is a mind and body practice that aims to enhance calmness, physical relaxation, psychological balance, and overall well-being.
it involves focusing the mind and training attention and awareness. it brings forth a mentally clear and emotionally calm state.
there are so many meditation techniques, such as being present in the moment, concentrating on specific objects or thoughts and using mantras (repetitive chants).
the practice can help manage symptoms of health conditions such as anxiety, depression, heart disease, high blood pressure, pain, and sleep problems. it increases self-awareness, reduces stress, and promotes focus on the present moment.
to practice meditation, start with one or two minutes a day and gradually increase the duration over time. find a quiet space to minimise distractions and focus.

HOW TO FEEL SATISFIED + GRATEFUL IN LIFE
Each time something good or positive happens in your life, credit and thank yourself by documenting it. This could be down in your journal, a video vlog or even you just telling someone else. 
E.g I got 90% on a test because I had the discipline and intelligence to study hard!  This serves as a reminder to your future self of how hard you’ve worked to get to where you are now. 
Set aside a few minutes in the day to reflect on your current week or month. You could meditate, journal, vlog etc, but just truly think about your favourite moments of the week/month and relish in how they made you feel. 
Be open-minded to new things, as they allow for growth. When you approach changes in your life with a good attitude, you feel more fulfilled as you challenge yourself to experience growth. 
Shift your perspective to that everything that happens in your life, is doing you a favour. Lost a good friend? Maybe they were holding you back. Dropped your favourite skincare jar? Probably could irritate. Struggling in a class? Ooo, something that challenges your mental mind!
Acknowledge that everything and anything external or materialistic will not grant you happiness in life. The only true way we can be satisfied or happy is by recognising and talking to our inner selves and making sure they’re nourished. 
Start to build deeper relations with others. Whether it’s your significant other, your family, or your friends, try to connect with them on a deeper level and make an effort to prioritise (not over you tho!) them. Your optimism will increase, and it gives you another reason to be grateful. 
That being said, be cautious with whom you keep close to. There are many people out there, regardless of how close they are, who want to see you fail, drain your energy or just be envious of you. Pluck these people out of your environment, as these people will squeeze all the gratitude and optimism out of you the longer you keep them around. 
Avoid comparing what you have, to what others have. Everyone else is on a different journey, and it’s completely unrealistic to compare yourself to someone else’s life which you haven’t experienced. Instead, cheer them on! When you put out good energy in the word, it comes right back to you!

The more you learn how to appreciate the little things in life, the more magical your life becomes. Expressing gratitude for the tiniest, most insignificant things gives you a chance to connect with the frequency of abundance. When you appreciate little things, you show the Universe that you already feel abundant. And since the Universe is your mirror, it’s going to reflect your new state of being.
Every time you express gratitude, you basically tell the Universe that you’re already an abundant person. So make your life magical by expressing gratitude. Allow gratitude to permeate your being. Allow it to transform your entire reality. When you feel gratitude, you expand your energy field and allow it to flourish. Give gratitude a chance, and watch how your reality shifts in a positive direction.
