In response to your words, Blaise came to an abrupt stop, a human blockade you collided with, knocking the wind out of your sails--quite literally. You were left momentarily breathless, contemplating the insanities of navigating blindfolded, following a bloody Slytherin boy into the middle of Merlin-knows-where.

Your hand instinctively shot up, ready to snatch the blindfold away out of pure irritation. However, Blaise, the ever-vigilant boyfriend, intercepted your rebellion with the swift precision of a Quidditch Seeker. His strong hands clasped around your wrist, halting your blindfold removal mission as if you were attempting an illicit spell in the Restricted Section. The dramatic pause hung in the air, and you couldn't help but chuckle at the unexpected turn of events, your irritation momentarily eclipsed by the absurdity of the situation.

"Patience is a virtue, my love. I thought you Hufflepuffs were well-versed in that," he teased, his hands leisurely descending down your arms until they settled on your hips. In your mind's eye, you could almost see the mischievous gleam in his eyes, his teeth nibbling on the plushness of his bottom lip. "Tired feet, you say? Allow me the honour of carrying you."

Before you could even voice a protest, before the chance to assure him it was entirely unnecessary, the man wasted no time. In a swift motion, he scooped you up into his chest, his arm hooking around your waist and the other securely beneath your knees, cradling you in a bridal-style embrace as he carried you effortlessly down the stone path.

A delighted squeal escaped you, your grip instinctively tightening around him, your face finding refuge in the comforting crook of his neck as the two of you swayed with each purposeful step.

“Gods, you’ve truly mastered the art of sweeping me off my feet, haven’t you?” You chuckled, a radiant smile illuminating your lips. As you nestled into his embrace, fingers delicately entwined around his neck, you couldn’t help but feel cherished in a way that transcended the ordinary. “In a world full of boys, you truly are a gentleman.”

Blaise’s deep chuckle resonated through his chest as he continued the gentle procession down the stone path. “Easy there, puffle--I’m just sparing you from potential blisters or a mutiny against my gentlemanly reputation later on.”

“You’re fortunate I’m at your whims, Zabini.” You grumbled with a playful pout, “cant you at least try to keep the puffle references to a minimum? My pride demands it.”

“Come on, love, it’s a cute nickname for a cute girl.” Blaise chuckled again, a soft and amused sound, “I fail to understand why you hate it so much.”

"Because you manage to make me feel like a small, delicate magical creature when you use it," you grinned, your voice a gentle murmur as you nuzzled against his neck, relishing the soft breeze that grazed your skin. "I suspect it's your sneaky way of acknowledging that, deep down, you know I could take you in a fight."

“Fair point, my enchanting little warrior.” He slowed his pace, the gentleness of his movements almost a silent apology. As he did, he planted a tender kiss on your forehead, a sweet punctuation to the familiar banter. “And for the record, I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

"Gods, I love you," you breathed, your fingers clutching his arms as he gently set you down, his firm hold ensuring you regained your balance gracefully. Now standing on the grass, you could practically sense the golden rays of the sun bathing your skin. "I hope you understand just how much."

Your entire being buzzed with a love that transcended words, and in that moment, you marveled at how fortunate you were to have a man like him--an absolute gentleman who cherished the simple, magical moments, and who never failed to make you feel like you were the only bloody girl in the world.

But, before you could even process a reply, the distant sounds of flapping wings caught your attention. Turning your head back to the approaching night, you witnessed the most beautiful and magical Hippogriffs gracefully soaring through the sky, their forms adorned by the hues of the sunset. Their feathers shimmered with a spectrum of colours, a mesmerizing display that left you utterly captivated all over again.

Each majestic creature moved with grace and power, their wings beating in harmony with the dance of the evening breeze. A sense of wonder washed over you, and you found yourself lost in the enchantment of these magical beings, grateful to witness such a breathtaking moment, and grateful to have such a wonderful boyfriend who knew how to make every damn day special.

“I love you, Blaise,” you murmured, the words a soft breath escaping your lips. Blinking, you tore yourself away from the captivating view, turning your head to find your boyfriend already gazing at you. His eyes, like deep pools, met yours with an intensity that mirrored the love in your heart. “Gods, I love you so fucking much.”

"Such a dirty mouth," he grinned, his dark eyes brimming with adoration as he peered down at you. "Careful now, you might cast a spell with those words."

“It can get dirtier, if you’d like,” you giggled, a playful sparkle in your eyes as you spun around within his grasp. Throwing your arms around his neck, you pulled his head down closer to yours. “Anything you want, it’s yours.”

As he pressed his lips against yours in a soft, tender kiss, he murmured; “I’ve already got everything I’ll ever need, babygirl.”

The Amity Parkers

Inspired by This Post, which is long, read the many reblogs and tags and comments, it’s fun!

Tim was Ninety Percent Sure that he was going absolutely insane, granted it was a long time coming. Danny Fenton, his Chemistry teacher and Dash Baxter, his Phys Ed teacher? That was two people from the same practically non-existent town in Illinois, but add onto that the fact that even MORE people kept showing up in Gotham from sleepy little Amity Park and proceeded to either A:Thrive or B:Thrive but with the Energy of a Kryptonian having nonstop contact highs.

After his two teachers, or more accuratly before, there had been Jazz Fenton, a new Psychiatrist working in Gotham and making rather noticeable strides in things. Then arrived her brother and Baxter, who had applied roughly at the same time in the aftermath of a Rogue attack on the cities water treatment plant, and the floodgates seemed to less open more fly off the hinges as though breaching charges had been used. 

Now there were MORE people here, there was Tucker Foley, working at Wayne Enterprises as a coder and a damn terrifying one to boot, Sam Manson, an activist who ended up throwing Tim during one of his Red Robin patrols where he’d come across her “Protest Site” which had been a small park in The Narrows. Wes Weston, a cop, had been giving his coworkers and his Chem teacher NOTHING but grief, insisting that Fenton was doing “Something” wrong but never quite being able to get things to stick, upon further digging this had been a long running one sided rivalry. There was also a SECOND Psychiatrist, Paulina Sanchez, at Gotham Academy who was also from Amity Park, and her files were airtight, as Damian’s most recent hacking attempt and Tim’s own follow up had failed to breach her firewalls.

So, here Tim was, staring at Danielle “Dani/Ellie” Masters, Dr. Fenton’s CLONE and the Academies newest but also most feral teacher as she boxed the Joker hard enough for an audible crack to be heard from their classroom from where she was fighting the demented clown on the field. Baxter was still running his class as normal, though a bit further away, and Dr. Fenton was still teaching their class, while Tim was trying to get Extra Credit and vengeance on the Doctor through today’s extra credit task, making a tracker that could track Doctor Fenton for Twenty Four Hours. 

Why was he seeking vengeance you ask? Well given the fact that Jason brought Doctor Fenton to Family Dinner last week [with Alfred’s blessing] and had come in with the most gremlin-esque energy he’d seen from a Non-Rogue. Now don’t get Tim wrong, he likes Doctor Fenton, he may be demented as all get out but he was regularly making counters to drugs and toxins that seemed to just inhabit Gotham. BUT! Doctor Fenton and Jason had been so sickeningly cutes-y with each other at Dinner, like a couple of Birds of Paradise trying to one up each other.

Then of course was the “Story Time” where the two had teamed up to tell embarrassing stories, though Danny held back, a touch. It didn’t absolve him, especially with how he egged on Jason, which very much didn’t help the whole “I know you’re the Bats” situation. AND THEN! There was the fact that a majority of the Amity Parkers KNEW that they were the Bats, It was as though they had gone through this whole song and dance before, which given prior statements of Doctor Fenton having “Hung up the Cape” seemed to imply he used to be a hero in Amity Park, where your average joe could one on one a rank and file leaguer or at least give them a rough time.

The fact that a semester of training from Baxter and Fenton alone had made Tim’s year group capable of facing off with the JL  was a testament to that.

Speaking of which, some Junior Leaguers were coming to Gotham, if only for a place where they were not as “Strange”. Some of those moves may have been encouraged with the recent custody battle between Luthor against Vlad and Danielle Masters regarding Connor, who was a Copyrighted clone as it turns out, which had resulted  in Connor being made a ward of Danielle Masters, who had chewed Superman out HARD along with her Original, Doctor Danny Fenton himself.

Suffice to say, Clark did NOT get majority of Custody, and only got every third weekend, which was terrifying in Tim’s opinion that this small town mayor who was as wealthy as Luthor, had turned up, legally thrashed Luthor, and then given custody over to his daughter, thrashed SUPERMAN with KRYPTONIAN LAWS, and then gone back to Amity Park Illinois to resume his Mayor-ship there. The fact the town was essentially a self governing and self sufficient region  meant that the League was now VERY AWARE of it, and the fact that the League of Assassins had tried and FAILED multiple times to infiltrate the town, with more people going rogue than staying loyal, with only one out of nearly two hundred assassins returning to Nanda Parabat, critically wounded and very much insane.

In Tim’s opinion? Amity Park raised people similar too but far more prepared than Gothamites, for while Gothamites may have the Fight in their bones, Amity Parkers seem ready to back it up with experience, training, and life experience. 

But then again, Mr. Lancer had been an immigrant to Amity Park, and he was the blueprint of sorts for all of his students who had gone into teaching, much the same for how Batman was the Blueprint for all the other Bats.

do you think that gort used to like karlach at some point? or was he just always faking it to get what he wants? curious about your interpretation of their relationship

I actually wrote about that here! (TLDR: He very much admired her, but Gortash has a fucked up way of showing admiration.)

Karlach and Gortash’s relationship is fascinating. I feel strongly that it was platonic, with perhaps some wiggle room on Karlach's part only because she is really quick to say "it wasn't like that." But I do think that Karlach became one of only a handful of people that Gortash (thought he) cared about.

Gortash on a very base level would never put his security into the hands of someone he didn't trust. A lot of people really wonder "Why Karlach?" - and that's a great question to ask, what is this ~19 y/o (roughly) going to do for you? But it is because it is a bizarre pick that we should look deeper - on the one hand, she's young and impressionable and he can mold her - thats an obvious motivator. But on the other, I strongly believe Gortash saw himself in young Karlach. I also love Karlach and don't want to diminish anything that Gortash did to her, but I am a little skeptical of her "I didn't recognize evil when I saw it" line. I think that's not entirely true - I do think Karlach knew more about what he was (not a Banite, but an Arms Dealer), but she was young enough that she didn't quite understand the true ramifications of that. I think she knew her boss was bad, but didn't think too deeply into just how bad he was and the consequences of his actions. Plus, he gave her financial security she literally never had. As a person who grew up in poverty, yea I'd be willing to overlook a certain degree of shit too for that security.

[And to those who might be unhappy with that take - you're not giving Karlach enough credit. Someone who did bad things/was around bad people and ended up developing into an insanely incredible person in spite of it (and in opposition to it) is a testament to her character AND way more impressive than someone who was just blind and ignorant. She's so much more than that.]

Even more interesting is how genuinely happy Gortash is to see Karlach if you play her origin. It only comes out in this very quick origin-specific interaction - but he actually laughs and sounds different than the entire rest of the game.

Now, I'm insane and overanalyze voice actor's performances all the time, but his voice is immediately rougher and his cadence is different before it shifts back into the regular Gortash voice immediately in the next sentence - "Karlach - it's been an eternity" - as if he's caught himself slipping into something he shouldn't have. Will the real Enver Gortash please stand up?

I've also written about how I think Gortash is genuinely surprised that Karlach is angry with him/blames him for the Hells. It reveals so much about how he's so delusional about his own trauma.

So - in short - I feel that Gortash would say Karlach was one of the closest people to him ever and fully mean it. It's just that she happened to be close to someone who was a terrible, terrible person.

the fact that derek was so earnest and steadfast in his devotion that the sheriff fucking notices, i just -

the women of beacon hills don't flirt with derek too hard because they think he's a fucking widower. they see how he dotes on the jeep and his son, and they're like "bless his heart, he's so loyal. yes, he doesn't wear his wedding ring anymore, but that love burns in him still"

derek being written like a widower is such a big brain take. no wonder the sheriff recognized the energy, you know.

the way jeff wrote around stiles not being in the movie was absolutely insane because there's a cloud over it as if stiles really died even if he didn't.

however -- stiles's presence is still there and not just because he was so essential to the nogitsune plot it's weird without him but because the jeep is iconic and it's so associated with stiles it might as well be a representation of his soul.

his attachment to it was a plot point multiple times and it's state was used to depict the state of his relationships.

he gave it initially to scott but eventually it made it's way to derek when it wasn't running anymore and derek rebuilt it. he's kept it up. he's keeping it safe.

also knowing how much of an investment of both money and time into rebuilding the jeep is a testament itself to derek's dedication. it's a love letter on it's own.

and jeff wrote derek becoming a professional mechanic and having his own shop to justify it.

how does all of this all of these things not read as pining? as derek keeping a memento? it's terribly sentimental. throughout the show we saw how minimalist and spartan derek lived. he had no such mementos of his own family unless you count peter. yet he has one of stiles.

jeff broke up stiles and lydia over supposedly prophetic dreams and than pulls this??? it reads as one hundred percent as a romantic gesture. jeff davis legitimately wrote this and wrote eli as being very similar to stiles. jeff what are you doing?

even eli is picking up on the vibes as he takes the jeep to try to get derek's attention because he knows there's something about it.

and than when you put this up against what we have been shown of stiles's feelings in the show proper ---

Angie finally becomes human and starts a successful DJ-ing business and lets go of alcohol. Dani becomes a world-renowned athlete and falls in love with a cheerleader. Cassandra makes it huge on Broadway and beocmes an EGOT Winner, as well as falling in love with a nice paramedic from New York. Bela gets her heart back and becomes a school teacher, while also mending her relationships with her sisters. As for Alcina? She finds love in an artist and continues to build the finest art collection in the world. Donna takes up doll-making again and gets over her anxiety, creating a travelling store that sells her own custom creations and flowers. And Miranda? She lets go of her love for MC and adopts a young girl, letting go of her evil ways and closing down the school, realizing she was a bit insane. MC dies of a cocaine overdose. Elena finally becomes free of the coffee shop and starts her own coffee chain, which becomes even more popular than Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. Mia's Pokemon collection ends up becoming the biggest in the world and she even gets her own character in the Pokemon games as a testament to how big of a fan she is. Heisenberg retires from his car repair shop and becomes a freelance welder. All the other students graduate and be successful in their lives. The Cass stans become stan twitter icons and end up becoming nurses. As all their futures unfold in the credits, Whistle by Flo Rida plays in the background as Cass arrives and starts to say "Can you blow my whistle baby, whistle baby, let me know. Girl I'm gonna show you how to do it and we start real slow. You just put your lips together and you come real close. Can you blow my whistle baby, whistle baby? Here we go!" And the screen fades to black, with a polaroid of all the characters waving and thanking the player for all they've done. Cue final credits. Then if things couldn’t get any better, Dan and Phil walk onto stage and kiss, holding the gay flag.

Man, the Marineford arc just....hits different. Like, yes for obvious reasons which I don't want to spoil in this post, but also just the entire tonal shift in the broader universe of One Piece. Up until this point, One Piece certainly hasn't shied away from darker themes or from pulling on our heart strings in profound ways. Just about everyone's back-story is heartbreaking and disturbing (Nami and Robin's, for me in particular) but this is where the story goes from pure fantasy into something more....real.

I highlighted this scene in particular with Coby who acts as a compassionate moral compass in a field of bloodshed and all out war. Up until this arc, One Piece had something of a reputation for not actually killing off characters, even minor ones. In this arc, there are very real and devastating consequences when people engage in violence. Families are being ripped apart. People are being actively traumatized. Coby's panic attack was so fucking real here. You see people go from wanting to fight for something in the name of justice into pure bloodlust. People are murdered at point blank range, and the cycle of violence just escalates and escalates until Coby's screams for a ceasefire are actually heard. This is like Alabasta on steroids.

Also, just...the timing of me watching this now with everything going on across the world. Where communications are being cut in real life, as atrocities and actual genocide are being perpetrated. Where propaganda is being spewed and the masses are being manipulated. Stories of war are, unfortunately, almost always topical, but watching this now feels so important and relevant.

It's a testament to Oda's storytelling and world-building that he can take us through such a vast array of different emotions. The character arcs in this show are insane. I had to spend a solid twenty minutes just....breathing after this arc. If y'all are thinking about getting into this show for real, prepare yourselves for some big, BIG feelings.

Unlike other villains, who would have been vengeful if they discovered their enemy had a girlfriend—maybe even going so far as to harm said person—when Villain discovered Hero’s girlfriend, she was struck by Cupid’s arrow and knew in her heart that wanted both of them. Hero, with her intensity and passion, with years of fights, jagged scars and tender bruises. Civilian, with her soft gaze and sweet nature. Surely Civilian could learn to look at Villain with kindness and love, as she did with those kittens and puppies in the shelter. Surely Hero would learn to love her, too—learn to see her scars, her faults, and love her for it instead of condemn her.

“Villain, I think you’re taking it just a little too far.” Henchman said, as he looked at the board. “Why do you need so many photos of them?”

“It’s called manifesting, Henchman.” Villain pouted, glaring back at her subordinate.

He didn’t understand love.

It seemed nobody understood love how she did. Nobody was as passionate as her about love.

Hero and Civilian would still love each other, then they’d love Villain too, and they’d all be in love together.

It would be a bumpy road, but it would be worth it. Hero would fight. She would struggle and claw and kick, and that’s because she was passionate—she had passion, as Villain had passion for love and all things romantic, and all Villain had to do was harness that passion…turn the fighting spirit into affection.

After all their battles, all their scars, Villain could hold Hero close without hurting her.

That’s all she wanted.

Hero just didn’t ever let it happen, because she was stubborn, because she didn’t trust Villain. However, she would fix that. The bruises would turn into something more romantic and symbolic than mere wounds—they’d be a testament of their love, they’d be a violent delight.

Oh, and sweet, precious Civilian…a normal girl who worked at an animal shelter, tending to animals in need. Villain wanted to be cared for that way, looked at with kindness, instead of given judgmental looks from others who deemed her insane…she would show Civilian her vulnerabilities, and surely Civilian would make a space, even a tiny nook, for her in that beautiful heart.

Civilian could make her feel normal, make her feel loved.

Was it wrong for Villain to merely want to spread love? The plan was all laid out. The tactics, the words she’d say to them…all of it was planned and orchestrated so that she could win them over.

Henchman looked at Villain, his eyebrows furrowed. “I don’t like that look on your face. That means you’re planning something bad, and it’s going to blow up in your face, and I’ll have to comfort you while you cry into my shoulder, even though I warned you.”

“Why are you being so unsupportive today?” Villain glared, her smile fading. “I don’t force you to be here. You could leave if you wanted to. I know you think I’m crazy, so why bother with me?”

Henchman’s look was as cold and pointed as a knife. “Villain, this isn’t going to fix the past. This obsession isn’t going to help you get better, it isn’t going to erase what happened, it won’t fill that hole inside of you.”

“You don’t know that.” Villain stared at Henchman.

He was wrong. Everybody was wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. Nobody understood her, her love, her heart.

Hero’s and Civilian’s love couldn’t erase the past, but it could prove something—it could prove that despite what everyone said, she could be loved.

Incoherent, messy and out of order first spoilery thoughts on TUA season 3, let’s go!

Viktor’s transition was incorporated rather nicely in the show and it led to some really wholesome sibling moments that I will cherish forever

the actor playing Reggie is a delight and while the character is extremely unlikable, I love seeing him on screen. it really is a testament to how good the TUA casting is

I expected to dislike the whole Stan thing, but I actually found myself enjoying it? I think the humor and delivery of some of the lines was amazing and made it work even if I am not a huge fan of what became of Diego in the last 2 seasons

Lila and Five’s dynamic absolutely SLAYS! idk, they are such a pleasure to watch, all this easy banter and everything, I just find their whole chemistry very satisfying and it shows both in the show and in the interviews that the actors truly get these characters, what they’ve been through and how it affected this relationship in particular. honestly, some amazing performances from both of them

overall, I feel like the performances in general were what made this season actually good to watch. I have a lot of complaints about some of the lines, subplots and plot points in general, but I can’t deny that I simply love these characters and the way they are portrayed by the actors and even though I can’t say I’m happy with everything that happened, it was still a lot of fun to watch. again, casting of this show is absolutely unmatched!

I really wish some inconsistencies in Allison’s reasoning were fixed and I still don’t know how to feel about THAT scene with Luther... I mostly can’t believe that it not only made it into the season, but - more importantly - that it isn’t addressed later on... at all. it’s one thing to portray dysfunctional and grieving characters doing shitty and questionable things, it’s another to frame it... well, the way they did it this season. 

that said, I enjoyed Allison’s arc a lot and Emmy Raver-Lampman is an amazing actress who was horribly underutilized until now, so I’m happy to see her have more defined role this season.

there’s something really interesting about the theme of losing one’s family in a show that’s so focused on family in general. I mean, usually when you grow up you begin making your own family unit with your spouse and children, so it’s interesting to see how Allison is torn between her obligation to her siblings, the family she didn’t choose, and the family she created as an adult. I know that we are more inclined to root for her relationship with other Umbrellas because they are the focus of the show, but it does make absolute sense for her to try to bring back the family she made for herself

I liked Klaus so much more this season and his scenes, especially those with other siblings, were really great! him bonding with Five was everything I wanted and didn’t even know. and it’s nice to finally tap into his issues with his powers instead of having him escape from them

Five being the Commission founder... I said in another post that I totally saw him being tied to the Commission’s existence in a more meaningful way coming because of how his powers operate in the same way the briefcases do, but I did not see THAT coming

on one hand, Sloane and Luther are a great example of insta love and everything wrong with it. on the other, though, it gave us some fun subplots and dynamics and if there’s one character that deserved to find peace and normalcy - it was Luther. I honestly need more time to form an opinion on it.

Allison and Viktor’s fight in episode 7 was amazing, the tension was really palatable and dang, THIS is how you write characters fighting! the actual VENOM in Allison’s voice, just... such a great scene, I was so impressed with the acting 

the amount of sudden deaths and betrayals was absolutely INSANE, the reviewers did not lie about that, holy shit

that moment when Five steps on his star, in the middle of the circle, connecting all of them? I don’t know what is it about that scene, but holy fuck, CHILLS

one thing that i think sets wilbur soot apart from a lot of other mcyts is he’s extremely mature in the way he goes about content creation. not in terms of the content itself, but in the way he goes about his career and how he interacts with other creators. he’s not close with many of them, but have you ever heard of wilbur soot having earnest beef with somebody online? nope, you haven’t, because he’s bigger than that.

there are so many petty squabbles and controversies that crop up online, and wilbur is always notably silent. that speaks volumes about his priorities. he seems to understand that jumping into those arguments serves 0 purpose and only fuels things further. (he’s also probably aware that joining in on controversy of any kind tarnishes his brand, so it’s a smart move from a purely PR standpoint.)

still, when things get really ugly and involve his friends, he encourages his community to show kindness above all else. take, for example, dream’s sexuality controversy on twitter in april. wilbur didn’t address it explicitly, but he went live (for a regular stream) perhaps a day or two after everything exploded and spoke about how important it is to be kind to other CCs (clip here). maybe i’m showing my bias because i’m primarily a dream team fan at heart, but it meant so much to hear someone who ordinarily is silent during controversy speak up in defense of his friend.

that’s another thing: wilbur and dream don’t even seem to be close friends, and wil still spoke in strong defense of him, in the name of decency and kindness. this wasn’t one of wilbur’s closest pals who was being attacked, but someone who’s a fellow content creator and friend. wilbur and dream have worked together many times and seem to get along well, and clearly there is a high degree of mutual respect between them. wilbur didn’t have to address the controversy, but he saw his friend’s name being dragged through the mud; so he asked his own audience to treat dream (without using his name) with respect. just as wilbur does. and that’s something he does with every CC he interacts with.

it’s sadly uncommon to see a mcyt who is so well-liked across the board, and who gets along with everyone he meets. if you ask me, it comes from wilbur’s experience in the industry. he’s been doing youtube and streaming for many years at this point and in many different circles, like soothouse, smplive, smpearth, the dream smp, etc. he’s educated in his field, and he’s now also working in music— i can tell you from personal experience that musicians who expect to go anywhere with their career have to be able to work with anyone, even the most difficult and insufferable kinds of people. you truly can’t expect to succeed in any creative field if you can’t adapt to your environment and work well with others. (wil is also just a naturally charismatic and funny guy, so he sets others at ease right away. not everyone has that gift!)

anyway, i just think it’s so neat to see a creator who does exactly the kind of content he wants (be it the most batshit-insane thing you’ve ever seen), succeeds at it, and also is held and holds others in high regard. it’s a testament to his passion for his work, as well as his love for others. i’m sure there are mcyts wil has worked with that he might personally dislike, but you’d never know because he treats everyone around him with the same kindness, decency, and authenticity that he does his closest friends. i love wilbur soot the end

PULL THE TRIGGER (AGAIN) is Baebi's second full album, and is entirely written by her. OO1. The promo for this album was insane. You couldn't go anywhere without seeing Baebi somewhere. She was on billboards, she was on TV, she was on the radio, she was on the computer–Anywhere Flowerbank could promote this album, she was there. Notably, her most well-promoted solo project, which fans were very happy about as they felt she was being held back under her previous company.

OO2. Baebi also did a few international promotions! She performed on The Kelly Clarkson Show, which caused a lot of cute interactions! She performed Wicked and taught Kelly a bit of the choreography. During her interview, she would talk about the album-making process and how cathartic it was for her. "I put my whole heart into these songs. This album is like my baby!" Yoonah would explain while laughing, earning laughs from Kelly and the crowd. Her English had notably improved since the last time she had been promoted in America. She also performed Baebi's Revenge on GMA!

OO3. While in America, she had a lot of cute interactions with fans. There was a pop-up event at a boba shop for her organized by fans. When Baebi learned of the event, she showed up to thank the fans and hang out with the fans. She took a few pictures, made some tiktoks, and signed some autographs before she had to leave due to the shop becoming overcrowded. Still, she calls this one of her favorite memories of being in America.

OO3. She did a short promotion in Japan, performing Japanese versions of Wicked and Baebi's Revenge on Music Station. She did a few interviews and variety shows while in Japan but mainly spent most of her time visiting her friend, Akiko, who was seen in many fan-taken videos and pictures with her. She has not yet released the official Japanese versions of the songs but promises she will soon.

OO4. Music shows were so fun for her! She did Tiktoks with everyone who asked, no matter their popularity. It was joked about on Twitter that idols were lining up out the door of Inkigayo to film a video with her. She was shown a lot of love by her peers, staff, and fans. Her dressing room was filled to the brim with flowers and gifts from staff and fellow idols, congratulating her on her comeback's success. Some of the most notable collabs would be with Karina and Ningning of Aespa, Yeri of Red Velvet, Xiaoting of Kepler, Xiaojun of Wayv, and Yoomi of Lunarix, causing their fandoms to burst into flames. Some people thought the collaboration would end the fandom's feud, but it only seemed to make it worse somehow.

OO5. During her behind-the-scenes documentary, she opened up about the trial and events that followed after it. "I had to grieve. I had a lot to let go of and move on from. None of it was easy for anyone, but I always remind myself that none of it was my fault. I had no control over a lot of it. Even now, with it all over, it feels like I have no control. People still spread rumors; they still think his death was my fault, and I can't change that. I just have to come to peace with that because I know the truth. They don't." The documentary also showed how emotional she would get while recording certain songs on the album. Some fans felt this was a bit too raw of a look at Baebi, but she would go on to say she approved of every scene included in the documentary.

OO6. The VENUS girls were very supportive of their leader and would often be seen by her side at every music show performance and attending nearly every one of her showcases. Chloe would end up buying Baebi the most flowers, buying her a total of 43 bouquets by the end of Baebi's promotions. The girls would also participate in the Baebi challenge on their group's TikTok to show their support for their leader.

OO7. Some people weren't too fond of how open Yoonah was about the meaning of the title of her album. During an appearance on a notable drinking show, she confirms the title is about Jinhwa, saying; "Yeah, I'm telling him to kill himself again. I think I earned the right to do that." and would take another shot as the host laughed loudly at her honesty. She was often called "insensitive" and even "cruel" for making light of something so serious, but she didn't care too much for the criticisms, though it was clear they irritated her.

OO8. Baebi was also criticized for how often she publicly interacted with her boyfriend, Kang Juwon. Baebi would perform a "Rock Version" of both Wicked and Baebi's Revenge, which would be a collaboration with Bones and All (@scrfiice). Constellations would go on to harass the members of BNA for "using Baebi for clout," while Osseites would go on to harass Baebi for "shoving her relationship in their faces," which wasn't the outcome both parties had hoped for. Due to rising tensions between fandoms, Baebi slowly stopped posting with Juwon while Juwon continued to support her on his Instagram, turning the comments off on any post that related to her.

OO9. This didn't mark the end of Baebi's interactions with Bones And All members, though! Cherry and Wei would star in her music video for "Let Me Fall In Love" alongside her and Sena. Cherry would often be seen leaving sweet comments on Baebi's and other Venus members' posts. It was clear that Baebi and Cherry grew close during this time.

O10. For every encore stage, she would perform with her dancers or with a VENUS member, as she didn't like being on stage alone. This seems to be a long-running tradition with the Venus members who promote solo. Netizens would go on to praise Baebi for her stable live vocals during every encore stage.

O11. Baebi would have a showcase for her new album where over 25,000 fans attended. Ten thousand were there in person while 15,000 were watching digitally. Baebi would give an emotional thank you to her fans, saying: "Thank you so much for waiting for Baebi to come back. I know it's been a really hard and long journey to show you this side of me again but...I'm just so glad to have you all here, in person or through the internet–Haha! I'm so glad we can come together again and I can be Baebi again. It's such an honor to be your Baebi." As well as performing a majority of the songs on her album, she also performed a few of her classics such as Bubble Pop, marking this the first time in two years she's performed the song, and Gashina, marking this the first time in three years she's performed the song, which made old and new fans very happy! O12. Though a very long and exhausting era, Baebi would prove herself to still be the that girl and one of if not the most influential female solo acts in Kpop. Plus, she's nowhere near done yet!
