"I hurt you."

James frowned at the large duvet lump on Remus' bed, "It doesn't matter."

The lump shook slightly, "Of course it matters, look at your face."

James glanced in the mirror across the room, "Dashingly handsome, I know."

"Not what I meant."

James stayed silent a momemt before sitting down gently at the end of the bed, "Have you ever done that before? Scarred someone?"

"Other than myself? No."

"I have."

The top of Remus' head peaked out from under the duvet, curiously staring at James.

"You've seen my dad", James shrugged, "That scar on his cheek? I did that. And there's a few more scattered on his body."

"How?"

James lifted his hand to his hair, pulling on a few strands, "I uh- I was a very unruly kid."

Remus snorted, "Course you were."

James grinned at him, "Yeah. I'd never just settle down, always had to be whizzing about. And my dad had to try keeping up with me- but y'know they're old, and I'd cause mum and dad a lot of pain trying to catch up. And one day, I was about six or seven, my dad was playing quidditch with me. And he was the keeper, so I was trying to get the quaffle pass him. And I got a bit too into the game. I saw an opening so I threw it, and I thought he was about to catch it, but I had put a bit more force behimd the throw and it came barrelling right into his face. He fell off his broom and passed out for about ten minutes, his right cheek was split right open, from the ear to the corner of his mouth. I didn't play quidditch again for years."

Remus stared at him, "But you did start playing again."

"Yeah", he nodded, "Dad was so upset I stopped because of it, but I just couldn't play afterwards. But then Marlene moved next door and Dad suggested I ask her round to play quidditch with me. Obviously I refused but then he said that the scar didn't matter. I may be the cause of it, but to him it's a lasting memory of a fun experience he had with his son, and between getting to play quidditch with me but having a scar or never having played quidditch with me but not getting a scar- he'd always choose spending time with me. And y'know I'd rather have this scar than not be with you on full moons."

"You realise that's a totally different situation, right? Like 80% of people get injured playing quidditch."

James laughed, "Well, yeah. But a scar is a scar, Moony."

"I ruined your face."

"Merlin, you think my face is ruined do you?"

"That's not what I meant!"

James grinned, "I think I'm rogueishly handsome and mysterious now, like you."

"You're much better looking, James."

"Oh, you big flirt! What should I say to people when they ask how I got it? Maybe I visited your pet rabbit and got the same treatment from the little rascal?"

Remus smiled, "Maybe just say a prank went wrong."

there is not a doubt in my mind that all the marauders have matching tattoos. it’s just a fact. they all have their animagius forms tattooed, along with a symbol of each other’s — for james, everyone has antlers; for peter everyone has a worm (his idea); for sirius everyone has a paw print; for remus everyone has a moon.

sirius and remus also definitely get moon/star tattoos on their ring fingers as promise rings about 2 seconds after they get together lol

Okay so what if I told you I did a really silly thing and made a Star Trek tos medival fantasy AU.......

OKAY SOOOO 😍 basically I had this image of kirk in a suit of armor but that kind of half armor where the other half is a dress and thag kinda spawned everything else

The AU doesn't exactly stick to the typical medival fantasy world, I had an idea about vulcan/elves and humans not coexisting very well. And vulcans can do the typical magic spells so humans have to make manmade magic (ie. That big thing on scottys back and all of mcoy and chapels potions)

ANZYWAY here are some facts about them in the order they are presenteddd bc ik it's kind of a random set to start with lol I'll post more later

Kirk-

A knight from a kingdom (starfleet) that worships stars (?) Hes a captain and got separated from his troops. He looks a little grumpy in the image hes very sweet very himbo I was just concentrating on his outfit drawing that so I didn't think of the pose lol. Also! The way I og imagined him was with those two painted on dots, it could be a religious thing from the kingdom or something idk but I just rlly wanted them to stick so yeah!!

Scotty-

A blacksmith and all around inventor!! He specializes in man made magic, something very powerful and dangerous in the wrong hands but he just finds it useful to power his machines while he's on the go :) so of course he just pretty much PERFECTS IT IMMEDIETLY because he's scotty!! This probably got him attention from the wrong crowd and his moving from place to place life style becomes more of a on-the-run thing. Oops!

Mccoy-

OK I KNOW THIS IS A LITTLE WIERD IN A FANTASY but this was around the time I was leaning more medival than fantasy (because I love history) and was thinking- what did medival doctors do? Medival times was kind of the plague era.....riiiiighhttt..?? Anywaayy there's some magical plague going around in the background probably more near where Chapel and Mccoy are from. He travels the lands in search for people to help! He specializes in potions- thought not his favorite medicine but the only thing that can combat the sickness. He's just a very tired old man that wants to help people <3

Chapel-

OK SO UM THIS ONES VERY MEDIVAL BUT WHATEVER WERE ALREADY DOING IT!! Chapel lived in the same area as Mccoy, living as a nun (secrets out I don't care about history I just love nuns) Among the many nun things her favorite was helping the local doctor out as a nurse. She grew very knowledgeable about medicine, and with her previous knowledge of magic as a nun they both came up with a (sort of) cure to the plague. But oops! Blasfamy! As the church decided the plague was actually an act of God! So with the help from the doctor they both ran away, searching for people that needed (more like wanted) their help!

It's a little wierd but I hope atleast somone found this intresting!! It's all I could think about for days lol😭 if anyone wants to talk about it or just their own ST AUs I would be SO open for that PLS

Can someone write me an au where James Potter wasn't home when voldy attacked, killing his wife and child and causing him to go fucking ballistic, please? Him killing Peter and panicking to Remus and Sirius afterwards? The three of them hiding out for years so James isn't sent to azkaban? James getting caught anyways and sent to azkaban only to find out a few years later that the child he thought was dead is starting his third year at hogwarts? Him escaping and immediately wanting to know why his friends didnt tell him sooner, only for Remus to show him a bag full of hair from his last haircut and the batches of polyjuice potion him and sirius have spent the last year or so brewing so James could be harrys DADA teacher (disguised as Remus) until they find a way to convince the ministry how his actions were justified? Thank you.
