vent under the cut (+ some announcments about this blog)

I guess this means that I have no choice but to read that night book, read all those revivals, grind for all those card stories, and waste all the diamonds that I can. I told myself that I was going to take this game slow because I wanted to savour it, but apparently that's not happening. I'm still in shock, but... I hope they don't have a server shut down, rather just an update-close. Midnight Cinderella (CYBIRD game) did the update-close thing, which is far better in my opinion. Server shut down, like AFTERL!FE: The Sacred Kaleidoscope, would hurt even more than this.

Damn, it started raining. What a perfect way to match the mood.

I don't know how to describe this, but I feel "distant" in a way. The same way I felt towards ARR when I first started playing - this unawareness and uncertainty - is the same way I'm feeling now. I don't know what to do right now. I won't quit this game, that's for sure. But I don't know what my next step is from here.

For starters, just about every scenario came to mind when I tried determining why the devs decided to stop updating, some scenarios more bizarre than others. I won't continue to guess what may have happened despite my curiosity and confusion.

As for this blog, which started as an Obey Me blog, shifted to including Attack on Titan stuff as well, and then Ayakashi: Romance Reborn too...

I won't quit.

I may slow down on the ARR posts and shift my focus back onto OM (which is not shutting down any time soon), but I'm not disappearing. I might be less active though, but that's because of personal reasons which you guys don't need to worry about.

Also, a little side note, my health hasn't been looking too great as of late. I'm going for a blood test this week to see what's going on, so if I go on a mini-hiatus, please forgive me.

I still have so many ARR fanfictions to release that I am still writing, and I will post all of them once they're done. I'm going to pause on the requests for a while, though. I've got these big fanfics to focus on, then I'll go back to the small ones.

❄️ My favorite games... They're mostly otome games and there are more than a hundred but Afterl!fe,Twisted Wonderland and Genshin Impact are my current favorite games.

I love comedy films and series, I don't like to watch something though. I don't have much but currently 'Leyla and Mecnun', 'Sherlock' and 'The Office' can be my favorite series.

I love every kind of music actually, as long as I love their melody and rhythm it will be in my list. But my favorite music genres are ethnic, classic and any kind of dance musics. I love especially lively ones, I don't listen moody and slow ones that much.

❄️ My favorite artists is probably Michael Jackson . I am so in love with every song of him.

My life idols are Mozart and Nikola Tesla. For Mozart, I love how creative he was. He literally created hundreds of pieces despise his short life span. Plus he was cheerful and brilliant, still a genius. It makes me remember, a genius doesn't have to be serious and cold all the time.

For Tesla, I love everything about him too. He had pure heart, most brilliant brain and unending love for human. He didn't care all hard situations he faced. He didn't give up when Edison stole his exertion, rather than that he created more and better. I can't explain how much I respect him with words so I'm cutting it here :')

Licht is about to leave through the portal for a mission, but pauses as a thought occurs to him. He can't possibly leave without a special gesture or endearing line! How could he have forgotten to do such a simple thing?

The soul reaper quickly turns and approaches you, wearing a smile tipped in mischief that has you raising a brow.

"Kiss me goodbye?" Licht asks charmingly, taking your hand in his.

"Hey! Can you not? We need to go!" His comrades scold him.

"But how could I leave my love in such a cold manner?" He spares them a cheeky wink. “But if you darlings are jealous, I can shower you with affection later.”

How dramatic… But you suppose it's also a little endearing. Faking exasperation and telling him to be careful, you give him a chaste kiss, sending him on his way. The gesture seems to have given him an energy boost - there's a bounce in his steps as he calls out to you one last time before being dragged through the portal by Sian. Hopefully they don’t break into a fight on the other side…

“Seems like this vengeful spirit is more powerful than usual.” Noah says as a way of greeting. “We have Ell and Youseff though, so things should be fine.”

It’s not like him to worry about these things… You rise from your desk. “I take it you’re done with prep, seeing as you're here?”

“Yep, all that was left is getting motivation from visiting my favorite person.” He smiles, coming closer. “So… Kiss me goodbye?”

“So that was why you mentioned it’d be dangerous…” You shake your head bemusedly. “You don’t have to find excuses to ask for a kiss, you know?”

“But it feels more justified this way,” his tone isn’t too convincing or serious. “I’m taking the time of our beloved manager, after all.”

“Careful, you’re starting to sound like Licht.”

“First you compare me to a grandpa, now a flirt? I can’t seem to win no matter what.”

Despite the banter, your next sentence rings true. “Just be yourself, maybe?”

“Hmm… I’ll take that into consideration.”

“You should. I’m quite sure it’s foolproof.” You finally lean in to close the gap.

"Nope~" He waits for you to put down your documents and face him. "There's something I need to do!"

The boy must’ve picked this up from the movie yesterday… You can’t remember the script exactly, but attempt to replicate the mood.

You give June a peck, winking as you retract. "Get those spirits good for me, will you?"

"Of course, haha! I'll be back before you know it! May the scars on my skin honor my great deeds-” He starts to leave, pumped up.

At those words, you forget your work for a moment. “Try not to get hurt, please?”
