Things I wholeheartedly believe about the Wayne Kids and why I believe them:

1. The Wayne kids at gala's naturally migrate to Lois and Clark first, even before Gotham reporters. No, it's not because Clark is/was the first person outside of the family that Bruce truly trusts - it's because even though Lois and Clark do everything to get to the bottom of the story, the truth to the story, they are nice and not looking for money or gossip. And the kids can be themselves.

2. (I made this before, but I want to repeat it.) Handwriting. Each kid knows how to forge every single person they knows handwriting. (All of them.) It's their superpower. It makes Bruce crazy and it's easy to prank people... and helpful sometimes.

3. Despite their turbulent relationship with Bruce, they are loyal to Bruce and Alfred. And each other. Not only is it because they are family, but because when it comes down to it, Bruce and Alfred have always been on their side.

4. Jason owns several bookstores. Some book stores are like libraries where they can check books out, some you have to spend actual money at to read them. It doends on what side of town you live in. It's too help youth get back into reading.

5. Tim, Jason, and Damian play D&D together. I don't actually have a reason for this, but I believe it. Sometimes, they rope Jon, Kon, Roy, Wally, and several others to play. Not Dick though. Dick- somehow - always cheats.

6. Dick and Duke's favorite chickflick movies are; She's The Man and the Devil Wears Parada. Steph's favorite is Legally Blonde 1&2. Cass likes Miss Congeniality. Jason's and Tim's favorite is any Hallmark Movie. And Damian thinks they're all insufferable.

7. Damian goes to the park to feed ducks and secretly has a duck army. He also feeds stray cats.

8. Selena loves all the kids. But Dick will always be her favorite because he helped soften Bruce and help give him some humanity and light back.

9. Duke once stopped a school shooter. As Duke, not Signal. I don't have a reason for this. He just did. I feel it in my blood.

10. Jason and Cass sometimes keep an eye on Gotham Academy, where Duke and Damian are. They'll watch from roof tops. Jason will say it's because he's looking for drug dealers, but secretly, ever since the school shooter scared, he's been worried about his brothers. Cass does it because she saw one of the teachers at a Gala once, and the teacher made her feel uncomfortable.

11. (Another post I made, but still.) The only people allowed to make fun of Dick and Damian's accents are those those who are in the family and are close friends of the family. Anyone outside that group gets pummeled or worse. One time, a minor Leaguer made a joke about Nightwing's accent, and it took Batman and Superman to get Jason off the them.

12. Anytime an article comes out ranking the Wayne boys' hottest list- Steph always doodles on their picture and Snaps them with things like; "Ew, since when did you have a stache?," or "Lol, you look like Clark."

13. Cass will join one of her brother's teams occasionally. And when she does, the only ones that interact with her outside her brother's are the ones closest to them. Tim's team of Young Justice hides when she comes.

14. Steph, Duke, Damian, and Jason are the athletes in the family. Cass, Dick, and Tim don't care much, but will play despite being athletic themselves.

15. Bruce has a swimming pool and hot tub. Can he ever use it? No.

16. Selena and Talia have fought against each other. Somehow, they are evenly matched.

17. Diana, Harley, Lois, Dinah, Ivy, and Selena will have girl days. Sometimes, they'll allow Steph, Barbra, and Cass with them. The boys are jealous.

18. As an April Fools joke, one year, Wally and Barbra convinced Dick they were dating. It put him in shock for three days.

19. Jason won't admit it, but Tim and Dick are evenly matched on favorite brothers. Duke's favorite is Jason, Damian's favorite is Dick. Dick loves them all equally and Tim's favorite is Duke.

20. Alfred has multiple scrapbooks for each of his grandkids and son.

Spellbound Part 14

Here we are at the last chapter. I am so sad to see it end that I have decided I'm doing a sequel. I have three stories nearing the end and as soon as the second one is complete (whatever order that is in) I will start writing it.

It will be split into four parts. The town, Chrissy and Robin, Jonathan and Argyle, and Eddie and Steve.

In this we wrap up everything we didn't get to in the last chapter and Steve gets his well earned rest.

The next time Steve awoke, the house felt bigger somehow. He was lying in a bed in a bedroom that didn’t look like his own.

The colors were more muted for a start. It didn’t have the vibrant greens and yellows he was known for. It wasn’t the blacks, greys, and reds of Eddie’s style either, so he wasn’t sure what part of the house he actually was in.

He struggled to sit up and really look at the room. It felt like the front room with the wide open windows and the smell of flowers coming through them. The sunlight warmed his spot on the bed and he felt nothing but comfort.

Just then the door opened to see Eddie walking in with Morgana on his arm and Gawain around shoulders.

“Nice to see you awake again, sleepyhead,” Eddie teased. “Morgana told me you were awake, so I thought I’d bring her in to see you. She’s been very concerned.”

Steve held out his hand and she flew right to him.

He stroked her breast and she rubbed her beak on his cheek. “I’m sorry I worried you. But I used up more power in a day then I have used my whole life time. My body is still adjusting to the new power levels.”

She rubbed his cheek again and Steve let out a gasp.

“Oh!” he muttered. “I had forgotten that familiars help regulate power levels. I guess I got so used to Circe doing it for me all the time.”

Morgana croaked and Steve laughed. “I’m sure you’ll remind me of all sorts of things I’ve forgotten. You really are beautiful.”

She croaked again and nipped at his hair.

He grinned at her. “No, I mean it. You have such beautiful coloring.”

“Sorry to interrupt the love fest,” Eddie said with a grin, “but we should see if you well enough to go out into the front room.”

Steve threw off the blankets and moved to stand. And immediately he sat back down. “Oops.”

Eddie walked over to the bed and held out his hands. Morgana took flight and flew out the open door. Steve, now unburdened by the one pound bird could reach out for Eddie’s hands to stand on his feet.

Eddie stepped back and Steve stepped with him, soon they were at the door. Eddie turned around and slipped his arm around Steve’s waist and led him into the front room where it seemed a class of some sort was going on.

Robin, Max, and Chrissy sat around Jonathan and Argyle as the two men taught them about being a witch.

Jonathan spotted him first. “Ah ha! The hero awakens.”

They all turned to where Steve and Eddie were standing by the door and suddenly Steve was being hugged by all the girls.

“I’m glad you’re safe, dummy,” Robin murmured affectionately.

Steve was led over to a new big fluffy armchair that Bav had absolutely just created for him. “Please tell me that I wasn’t out for another week, I think I’d cry.”

Jonathan laughed. “That would be hilarious, but no. It’s only the evening of the day you woke up for the time.”

Steve let out a relieved sigh. “Oh thank god! I still feel like I’ve been punched in the chest over and over again.”

“The unfortunate side effect of losing your familiar, I’m afraid, my good sir!” Argyle explained. “Having the little lady nearby will help regain your balance, but it will be some time before you feel yourself again.”

“Speaking of familiars,” Steve asked, “how have they all been getting along?”

Robin snorted. “Merlin thought Jadis was a chew toy until she tapped his nose. But other than that, things have been fine. Bav is three times her normal size to accommodate everyone and is looking forward to things going back to something more like normal once you’re on your feet again.”

Steve rubbed his eyebrow. “Who’s all been staying here while I was out?”

Eddie started ticking them off on his fingers. “You’ve got your two apprentices, Max and Robin, me and Wayne, of course. Argyle and Jonathan, because Joyce is mad at Jonathan for not coming to get Will and taking him to his place. And Chrissy!”

Steve blinked at him for a moment trying to take in all the information. “First Jonathan, do I have to talk to your mom about a town wide fucking spell that clouded her mind, not yours?”

Jonathan burst out laughing. “Please do! She doesn’t seem to believe me even though she witnessed the destruction of the demon and its spell.”

“I’ll put it on my list of things to do,” Steve said sagely. “Next question, Chrissy, Robin’s true love, aside, what are you doing in my house?”

Chrissy winced.

“I told you he’d have a problem with it,” Max snarked. “She could have stayed with any number of the other houses in her acquaintance, just not this one.”

“But Eddie and Wayne is staying here!” Robin protested. “Why can Chrissy?”

Eddie pinched his nose and instantly Steve understood that this argument had been going on all week.

“Because, Robin...” Eddie said for what must have been the millionth time that week, “as centennial sorcerers, it’s literally painful to be apart now that we’ve touched. You know that isn’t the case with you and Chrissy.”

“Plus,” Argyle said with a grimace. “Bav hasn’t forgiven her yet and keeps moving stuff around on her.”

Robin flushed a dark red. She knew she was being ridiculous, but this was her true love...

Steve realized something and then looked around the room, hurriedly. “Hey, Bav, where did you put my clothes from the day of the battle?”

Eddie frowned. “What do you need, love?”

A little end table appeared at Steve’s elbow with the clothes. He went searching through it and pulled out the little amulet he found.

“Found it!” he called. “Chrissy, catch!” He tossed the amulet at her and she caught it deftly.

She opened her hands in confusion, then her face cleared. “Oh! You found it! I thought I had lost it forever.”

Robin peered over her shoulder. In Chrissy’s hand was an amulet very similar to the one Argyle had made for her.

“An amulet?” she asked looking up at Steve. “Where did you find that?”

“After the battle with Jason, I found it on the ground,” he said licking his lips. “Circe told me it was hers. This is what must have been protecting her from the controlling spell the Carvers put her under.”

Chrissy’s head shot up. “Oh! I thought it was just a locket my mother gave me before she passed away. I didn’t realize it was an amulet.”

“Why don’t tell us your story and see if we can’t get everything sorted out?” Steve urged her gently.

“I never knew my father and my mother sold crystals on the side of the road to help keep a roof over our head and food in our bellies,” she began.

“Her mother was a witch too?” Max huffed. “Is everyone a witch in this town?”

Eddie huffed out a laugh. “No, just descendants of them. I got looking into the nasty stuff the Carvers were up to and they picked Hawkins especially for its strong supernatural connection. If they could control Hawkins, the rest of the country would be easy by comparison.”

Steve pinched his nose. “I should have guessed. I think that’s why my mother sent me here to set up shop. For the same reason. Which ever side controlled Hawkins would control the country.”

“The townsfolk are calling for you to be mayor,” Wayne said, coming in from the back garden. “Pardon me for eavesdropping, but I thought it was relevant.”

Steve snorted. “I’m not going to be mayor thank you. I have enough trouble as it is without add a whole town’s worth of it.”

Argyle nodded sagely. “It should be someone who is both on the side of the ordinary and the supernatural. That way he or she would be fair.”

Everyone in the room turned to Wayne.

He blinked at them for a moment. “Why is everyone looking at me?”

They continued to stare.

“Oh no,” he muttered, waving his hands. “That would be a bad idea. I would make a mess of things.”

Robin half shrugged. “Can’t be any worse than a demon carrying immortal with designs on world domination.”

“Well,” he said with a huff of laughter, “I can’t argue with that. I’ll put my hat in the ring then.”

Steve smiled at him. “You’ll do a good job.” Then he turned to Chrissy. “Sorry about that, please go ahead and finish your story.”

“When I was about fifteen,” Chrissy said with a faint blush on her cheeks, “she got really sick and completely wasted away. She couldn’t eve keep food down toward the end. She wasn’t even cold in the ground when the Carvers arrived at the cottage with a writ saying that my father had turned over parental rights of me to them and that I would be their ward. I was told to call the Mayor Father.”

“I doubt that very much,” Steve murmured. “That your father handed over your rights to them, I mean. They probably didn’t even bother looking for him and just made up some random story to get what they wanted. Which unfortunately was you pregnant by Jason, then the mayor would assume Jason’s form and once a son was born, you’d be done away with.”

“Well,” Robin said wide-eyed. “That’s more frightening than I thought his plan would have been. Disgusting.”

“It really is vile,” Chrissy confirmed. “But since my birth my mother insisted I wear this amulet.” She held up the necklace Steve had returned to her. “Said it would protect me all my days.”

Steve nodded. “That’s why you were constantly able to slip their leash. The arrival at my cottage. The befriending Eddie. The ability to question them at all. And it was because of that amulet.”

The walls of the cottage turned a dark grey. Steve nodded.

“It’s still no excuse for how rude she was when she requested the love charm,” he said, glaring at her.

Chrissy ducked her head. “You’re right. I was rude and dismissive. I’m sorry. And while Robin lives here, it’s not her house. It’s yours. The only person who has the right to let me stay here is you.”

The walls lightened to a dove grey.

Steve snickered. “It appears Bav agrees. It will be a long time before I could trust you. I understand you were under the influence of a spell. But that spell merely kept you docile, your attitude was your own.” He turned to Morgana. “Hello, dearest. Would you be so kind as to send a message to Nona for me? Ask her if the Hendersons would be willing to house Chrissy until the dust settles?”

Morgana cawed, puffing out her chest proudly, before flying off.

“Max,” Steve asked. “Please would you ask Zoomer if Joyce would come here so that I can properly chastise her for blaming Jonathan about the redcap.”

Max grinned. “It would be our honor.”

Jonathan’s shoulders sagged in relief. “Thanks, Steve. I really appreciate you mediating this for me. I know you just woke up.”

Steve nodded. He turned to Robin who looked properly ashamed.

“I’m sorry, Steve,” she muttered. “I should have talked to someone else about having Chrissy house with them until we get her living sorted.”

“Actually,” Wayne said with a small smile. “I think I might have the obvious solution to that.”

Everyone turned to Wayne.

“If I’m to be mayor,” he said with a half shrug, “I’ll be living in that big house, and with Eddie living here, our cottage would be empty.”

Eddie blinked for a moment. “Oh! That would be perfect. With Robin about to pass her exam, she’s going to need a place of her own, but something nearby so Max can still be taught reading and writing. Her and Chrissy can have it.”

“Oh!” Chrissy said, wide-eyed. “That would be perfect! I wouldn’t change a thing! I love the little Gothic feel it has!”

The tension in Eddie’s spine loosened at that. “Yes, thank you!”

Steve frowned and started counting off on his fingers. “Okay, so we’ve Chrissy and Robin sorted. The thing with Joyce and Jonathan to be sorted soon. Wayne as mayor. Eddie living here with me and Max. Is there anything left to sort out?”

Everyone looked around at each other.

“Billy is on the mend,” Max said with a grin. “And a master carpenter reached out to train him enough to past the master’s test so he can keep the shop.”

“That’s good to hear,” Steve said sadly. It was hard that Billy had to kill Tommy, but he was glad that the boy would be just fine. “Anything else?”

Eddie smiled down at his love. “No, sweetheart, that’s about it.”

“Yep,” Wayne said with a smile. “With the townsfolk regaining their memories about the supernatural, the good goolies and beasties are making a comeback. There is color in the town now. I’d say you deserve the rest.”

Steve looked around at his found family and smiled. Yeah, he had a lot to be grateful for.

Eddie slipped into the chair and it lengthened into a love seat, so they could cuddle.

He smiled up at his house and sighed. “Thanks, Bav.”

[Yandere!Sung Jinwoo x Enemy Monarch!Reader]

Back in the city, Hunter gathered and crowded the streets after the citizens had been evacuated to the safer regions. Some of the fighter-based Hunters remained on the streets with the Healers in the back surrounded by Tankers and Mages to be protected and continuously provide buffs whenever necessary, while the Rangers and Assassins were stationed within or atop buildings for a perfect ambush or strike if and when an enemy shows up.

A towering and giant figure walked through the crowd of humans, pushing aside any that were in his way. His eyes glowed as his fingers twitched from the excitement of what was to come. All that was needed was a trigger to start the party.

Like a reward to the strong, a prideful Hunter was bumped into by the giant and demanded for an apology. Humans and their feeble pride turned to be their undoing. So started the bloodbath that led to chaos and screams from squeamish humans. Cattle scattered like ants just waiting to be squashed under by the mighty’s feet. These humans were nothing but moving flesh to him.

How you, the Monarch of Void and their greatest tool, managed to live among maggots for so long, he had no idea. Frankly, it irritated how you were spending so much time in the human realm, he understood the need for a catered vessel due to your powers and standards, but the time after its completion should mean you returning to them, among your kind.

“Listen to me, you human bastards! From now on, I will start to hunt you down! My nails will tear your weak skin and rip fresh apart! I am the King of Animals, the Monarch of the Beasts! Try and stop me!”

In a more forestry region of Korea, Jinwoo pulled out your chair before you could sit and pushed it in when you did, then he took his seat opposite to you. The two of you barely needed any time to decide what to eat because the hotel’s restaurant staff had already arranged breakfast platters for the both of you as thanks for catching some unlucky robbers before you two could ask for a hotel suite last night. It was late when the two of you were done with the flight activity and Jinwoo didn’t want the date to end, you didn’t care since sleep wasn’t something you had to mind even in a human body.

Your eyes sparkled at the table full of food and there were more coming by the carts that were being pushed in your table’s direction. Well, Jinwoo, as a famous S-Rank Hunter, sure had its benefits, and you were loving it. There were pancakes, scrambled eggs, noodles, rice, sushi, sashimi, yogurt, cereal, and so much more that only two people could finish! 

BUT you were a Monarch. You are the Monarch of Void, the supreme ruler of space itself! Surely you can apply that power to your stomach and eat to your heart’s content! It’s not an abuse of power when you could enjoy all the wonderful delicacies humans have created over the years.

Not waiting for Jinwoo to start you off, your hands picked up the fork and spoon to get whatever you wanted into your drooling mouth. Jinwoo watched wide-eyed as you finished at least two plates of food―without even leaving him any crumbs―within the minute he was scanning through the options.

“You didn’t waste any time.” Jinwoo laughed.

All he had in return was your eyes glowing dangerously at him while the nearby knife pointed at him in a threatening way. Your mouth was still stuffed and he had a bit of issue making out what you said, “This is all mine.”

“Yes, yes.” Jinwoo merely smiled and plopped his chin in his hand, watching you stuff yourself with food. The image of a hamster came to mind, but he wasn’t about to say that to your face when everything had been so peaceful. Though that serenity was cut short with his phone ringing, he picked it up while still staring at you, “Yes, I’m Sung Jinwoo. Did something happen?”

Originally, you would have been concentrated with your wonderful meal, but your gut feeling had told you to listen in on the conversation. Not that you needed to be sneaky about it since the other end of the line, the person―Woo Jinchul―was practically shouting everything into the phone.

“An S-Class monster appeared in the middle of Seoul!”

An ear-piercing ring rang in your ears as you watched Jinwoo’s eyes glow. When it was confirmed to be one enemy, your suspicion was correct―the Monarchs have started to move. Poor timing, you haven’t been able to help Jinwoo familiarize the Monarch’s attacks and strengthen his current army, you couldn’t even force open the Gate for the true army to join the fight as much as you wanted. And he didn’t have the luxury of time on his side.

You could tell by instinct that Jinwoo didn’t believe what was reported to him, even when it was from Jinchul. His Shadows reported nothing back and there will continue to be nothing reported back so long as the Monarchs are there and actively isolating the city. Similar to that incident with former Chairman Go Gunhee, the tactic would be to isolate and strike, like a predator with their prey, only this time…it’s not a hunt but a massacre.

“Don’t waste your energy.” You told him with a serious tone. You stood from your seat and wiped your lips with the back of your hand, “After all, more and more will die by their hands.”

“Their?” Jinwoo’s confusion was valid because only one was reported to be on a rampage and Thomas Andre was facing him head-on right this moment.

“...” Your eyes narrowed with your lips pressed to a thin line, “Monarchs have made their move and they will not patiently wait for yours.” You moved to his side, staring down at him, “Monarchs will bring about destruction, more so the later you delay your confrontation. “You can’t leave! I forbid it! If you leave… You’ll regret it! It’s all over!”

Jinwoo was reminded of your conversation with Ashborn before his demise. It was a sign that you care, a sign that you prefer his life over the others as you viewed his life more precious than whoever else was living. Truly, he was grateful and he was honoured. This was something that he had been aiming for, but there was that voice in his mind that questioned whether you were doing this for him or Ashborn.

“I’ll do it.”

Your eyes briefly widened and the mist thickened.

“Only if you call me by name.”

“...” Jinwoo didn’t see your expression; he doubted you made any at this point. The answer to his question was heard loud and clear though. “I’ll take you back to Seoul.”

So in the end, he was still seen as Ashborn’s vessel, no, successor. Even after everything he did for you and everything you did for him. Even after the sublime day you two had yesterday… It all meant nothing to you. What was he to do to have your attention solely on him?

“Prepare your mind and soul for a battle unlike any other you have faced before.” You warned as the mist rose to cover the two of you. “I can’t say how much of help I’ll be.”

The scenery of the restaurant changed and soon the wreckage of a city formed around him, while you appeared nowhere in sight. First things first, he blocked off an attack aimed at the disoriented Lennart Niermann and had him take Thomas out of harm’s way.

Rakan, in his giant beastly form, bared his fangs at Jinwoo with a thirst to maul him apart limb from limb. “How is it that you, a mere human, managed to carry the power of a superior being so far?”

Sillad formed from the chilling wind, “The Architect, against the odds, found a way. It’s been a long time since he and the Shadow Monarch have made a deal…”

Behind Jinwoo, the shadows of multilegged insects crawled and crowded to the new figure, Querehsha cooed with a twisted grin, “That means there’s no problem if I eat the human vessel, right? I’m curious to know what a Monarch will taste like.”

The System provided its aid in identifying the two new figures, in addition to the familiar Monarch, with windows for identifying clear enemies.

Mist formed around Jinwoo and concentrated on his side, a whip of a darkened mist-like tentacle slashed at Querehsha, but she made it so that her beloved children took the hit and disappeared. Your figure appeared shrouded in mist around your human vessel, “You will do no such thing.”

[THE KING OF THE FORGOTTEN, THE MONARCH OF VOID, HAS RECOGNIZED YOU AS ???.]

“Monarch of Void. Have you betrayed us to side with a mere human?” Querehsha questioned as she reformed in another spot.

“For me to betray you, I have to be your ally to begin with.” You glared at her as you stood your ground, “However, I never recall ever picking your side, vile pest. I belong to no side but my own.”

“You…” Querehsha’s grin turned to a scowl as she clenched her hands into fists. “How dare you…”

“Arise.” Jinwoo called his Shadows out. He made the first move not because it was advantageous to him, but because he couldn’t stand them treating you as if you were theirs. From the beginning, even after meeting you face to face, your iron will to stand for yourself and stay independent drawn him in, your fierce loyalty to those you care for was akin to his own.

His soldiers arose and moved to attack; however, within seconds, they were frozen solid by the Monarch of Frost’s ice. Sillad lamented sarcastically, “You really have a good number of soldiers… But they lack a good organization. Your soldiers will not be able to do anything in this prison of ice.”

You didn’t flinch, you didn’t even need Jinwoo to shield you because nothing was directed in your direction, as he should have realized and seen through. Energy must be calculated and used perfectly in battles that you can’t predict.

“And to think he wanted to use these soldiers to get in our way, how deluded of him…” The two Shadows encased before him were Igris and Iron, Sillad turned in Jinwoo and your direction as he preached, “It was an act of arrogance towards the other Monarchs. And on top of that, I didn’t think that human was capable of absorbing the full power of the Shadow Monarch. Perhaps there was some reasoning behind the Monarch of Void’s interest. Still, although the Shadow Monarch was the greatest, he should not underestimate the power of the other Monarchs.”

“Fall back while you still have the chance. A number of Humans have already fallen, what’s a little more?” You warned once more in a low voice behind Jinwoo, unmoving from your spot as the mist threatened to send him to your realm at the slightest hint of him surrendering. “Humans repopulate every other day. Talented Hunters awaken daily. Sacrifices must be made.”

Jinwoo twirled his dagger, his aura releasing as he pointed the blade’s edge at Sillad, “I will definitely defeat them, and I will at least take your head, Ice Monarch.”

Thus started the battle as Jinwoo lunged at the Monarchs while you stood on the sidelines without helping anyone or hindering anyone. Your mist dissolved all debris that came at you from their powerful attacks, from time to time, you’d glance over to Igris who was still encased in ice, then back at the struggling Jinwoo.

A bold statement.

A weak defense.

For the result was the same as your mind predicted. Because no sooner, the sight you met was one from your nightmares.

“Sung Jinwoo!” You screamed as you watched Rakan impale his long, sharp claws into Jinwoo’s back, you moved. You summoned your scythe and made a clean swipe at the insects around you to clear a path back to him, finally moving from your spot, “You back off, Sillad!”

“How you manage to win over the Herald of Favour, I think I’ll never find out.” Sillad smirked, “I will return your weapon to you.” Without missing a beat, he impaled Jinwoo’s dagger into his chest right in the center, “Alright. Now, can you heal like you did earlier?” While Jinwoo remained in shock, his blood froze over from the Monarch’s chill, “Probably not. No matter how strong you are, you are not a complete Monarch. Even when you have the Monarch of Void on your side. Is this as far as you go, human? If that’s the case, you will not be able to witness it. The moment our armies set foot in this world.”

You were suddenly blocked off when Querehsha appeared with her hideous insect pets, the smirk on her face irritating you to no end. You glared and raised your mist to cloud the area to make your move and obstruct the Monarch.

“When that happens, there will be a mountain of human corpses and their blood will form endless rivers. But this country, which you grew up in, will be different. I shall personally freeze every single human in this country myself, and make them suffer through an eternal agony. They will have to live through an eternity, not being able to die nor live.”

One by one, you struck down the creatures and devoured the bodies with your mist to prevent them from regenerating or healing with her powers. Even so, you were no closer to Jinwoo and it would be impossible to save him in this state alone. You closed your eyes and pleaded to whatever is out there to do something. You lost Ashborn. You can’t lose Jinwoo just as you have accepted him.

“Even your beloved ally, the Monarch of Void, will suffer the wrath of us Monarchs for siding with you.”

As much as Jinwoo glared at Sillad and wanted to fight back, he couldn’t. Sillad took great pleasure in Jinwoo’s struggles and pain. “So show me your endless contempt for me within your death. That will also be part of my joy.”

Still…

Your eyes watered, Jinwoo’s eyes were bloody and blood were coughed up, no human could survive that. Including Ashborn’s successor. The one you vowed to protect and see that he rose to his place among the best. The prideful and strong-willed human you learned to 𝖑⃦̳̿𝖔⃦̳̿𝖛⃦̳̿𝖊⃦̳̿. “Sung Jinwoo!!”

Fifteen years ago, the Super One Series Prizegiving took place at the 2010 Autosport International Racing Car Show. Over £60,000 in cheques and vouchers were handed out to the top / seeded drivers in the MSA British and ABkC National Championship classes. F1 World Champion Jenson Button made an appearance, delighting (🙂‍↕️) Super One drivers and their families with his visit to the stand.

Among the seeded drivers were Lando Norris, Alex Albon, and George Russell. Just kids in karts then. Apparently “Super One to Formula One” wasn't just a catchy slogan.
