I think people have truly lost any ability to be patient with storytelling.

‘This character is flat’ Wait for them to be fleshed out.

So many of the complaints I see about shows lately are people being confused by things THAT THE SHOW WANTS YOU TO BE CONFUSED BY THATS THE FUN OF MYSTERY AND FORESHADOWING YOU ABSOLUTE GOBLINS THE MAIN CHARACTER IS ALSO CONFUSED AND THEYRE GONNA DO A BIG REVEAL AND EXPLANATION LATER IF YOU WOULD JUST FUCKING WAIT

Why people create anti accounts?

I have seen so many anti-harry potter, anti-acotar, anti-marvel accounts on tumblr recently and I’m lowkey so confused.

If I don’t like something, it also means I’m not interested in it, therefore I don’t want to talk about it. I have seen many blogs where they discuss things they hate in more detail than I talk about things I love. Why people waste so much of their energy on hating when they could be blogging about something they like?!

No offence to anyone, but I find it rather strange that people would spend so much of their time talking about something they don’t actually like. 🤔

I don't understand anti-fans

Like again, their opinion of not liking a person/thing/piece of media is okay, whatever. I'm not gonna hold them hostage being like "its the greatest thing and you have to consume it and you have to like it". No I'm a decent human being and ik there can be flaws with said person/thing/piece of media. If they don't like it whatever. It's the antis like this (of any fandom really) that devote and dedicate all their time, every waking hour of every day, to shitting on the project or bullying the fans of it like this so publicly and openly. Like, okay, you don't like it? Cool, keep it to yourself and focus on stuff you do actually like, it's not hard. I especially don't understand hate readers/watchers. Don't you not like this thing? Why are you still consuming it? You consuming the media is still supporting it in some way, shape and form. Like put it down and walk away, move on ya know? I hate that some people are so toxic they hold on to these useless grudges and act this way. It boggles my mind and confuses me.

I’m just gonna say this, the main reason people don’t like Damian Wayne as a character is the same reason people didn’t like Jason Todd back in the 80s

People don’t like either of them because their favorite Robin (Tim Drake and Dick Grayson) got replaced by them.

Damian and Jason are both really interesting and complex character, objectively more complex than both Tim and Dick, but some people (cough, obnoxious Tim fans, cough, and Dick fans who over sexualize him, cough) don’t see that and just want their little blorbos to never grow into their own character apart from Batman.

Like sure, some of the fandom’s definitely there for the toxic masculinity and papapa, but I guarantee you there’s an entire section dedicated to gleefully watching the fandom sewer rat being feral.

I'm only gonna say this once. If you don't like a webtoon/show/whatever, you don't have to keep consuming it. But there is NO reason to put down/bully the artist(s) who make them or the fans that enjoy them. If it ain't for you, it's for someone else. You're cringe if you do this

There’s something so heartbreaking about watching your favourite parts of a tv show, the parts that you have loved for years and found so much joy in, being misunderstood, forgotten and erased by it’s predecessors.

13’s beautiful TARDIS interior, and sonic screwdriver erased to make way for nostalgia.

13’s clothes, her entire outfit, burnt up never to be seen again without any explanation.

Yaz, who 13 was in love with, who she wanted to tell everything to and spend the rest of her days with, not even mentioned - not even hinted at!

13’s character, her core personality traits and storyline reduced to ‘woman Doctor’ and fundamentally misunderstood!

13’s fam, the family that she found and built, not even mentioned or reminisced about!

I’m glad that the Timeless Child wasn’t erased, but I feel like so much else was that RTD didn’t properly watch 13’s era. It’s like he was given a summary and only took the parts that he thought was interesting.

13’s memory deserves better! She deserves to have passed on the baton to Ncuti’s Doctor, to have him running around high on regeneration energy while wearing her outfit! To use her sonic for an episode before choosing to make his own!

13 deserves to be remembered as a Doctor who was loved dearly by her companions and fans, as a Doctor who went through so much tragedy right from the start and struggled to deal with that, but still managed to face down her foes! As a someone who was optimistic and kind, but could also be cruel and harsh when needed! She was complicated, she went through so much, I love her and she will always be my Doctor.

She deserves to be remembered as more than ‘woman Doctor’, because she was so much more than that.
